Dr. John Bomalaski is the best doctor I have ever had; he is a perfect surgeon (he performed two of my surgeries at the Health First Regional Hospital in Melbourne, FL), he is highly knowledgeable and experienced in gynecology and oncology areas, he is very caring, supportive, empathetic and a down to Earth person and he has a unique, extremely nice and approachable personality. I was so impressed with high qualities of Dr. Bomalaski, that being a resident of Ohio, I decided to come to Melbourne, FL, to be under his great care. Dr. Bomalaski gained my trust, after he acted quickly with performing my necessary surgery on the next day of my arrival to the Health First Regional Hospital. At the emergency room I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, and Dr. Bomalaski removed a lot of my cancerous masses as soon as possible. When he showed up at my hospital room he was very supportive and gave me hopes for my recovery, although he told me that it would be a long journey, but successful. The chemotherapy, Dr. Bomalaski prescribed for me was very effective against my endometrial carcinoma, because my tumor shrunk a lot and now I will be undergoing radiotherapy according to my doctors plan. I am very grateful for Dr. Bomalaskis super nice bedside manners at the hospital rooms, for his advice regarding my health problems, for all our discussions and my doctors explanations, for his patience, support, help, understanding and the time he spent working hard to make my treatment successful. I highly recommend Dr. Bomalaski to all women with gynecological problems, because they will get help they need from a highly professional doctor with a super nice personality.
I was referred to Dr Bomalaski and I could not be happier with his expertise and care. My inital appointment with him was straight and to the point. It took me 10 years to find a dr who diagnosed me with what I thought Id had all along. His whole staff at his office is great and easy to get in touch with. I just had my surgery with him at Holmes Regional two days ago. He recommended me to stay overnight and I was treated like a queen by every single person who cared for me. He has such amazing bedside manner and I would hands down refer anybody to him and his team in a heartbeat!
November 2023 I was referred back to Dr. Bomalaski, first time I met him I really wasn’t sure why I was there, the second time, I knew something had to be done. Dr. Bomalaski took the time to answer all of my questions, making me feel comfortable, I knew I was in good hands. I got the surgery scheduled for December 11th for a full robotic hysterectomy, day of my surgery at Holmes regional, it seemed like one thing after another kept happening preventing my surgery (not Bomalaski’s fault). My surgery was rescheduled a total of 3 times all together all while being admitted to Holmes, due to other health concerns. Saturday, December 16th my surgery was finally a success, while in pre op, Dr. Bomalaski stops by before surgery and apologized because the delay, even though it wasn’t his fault, the fact he came in to apologize to me for something he had no control over says a lot of a person and not just a doctor. He understood my anxiety, after that, I knew I was going to be in good hands. I recommend Dr. Bomalaski and his staff, don’t let the bad reviews turn you away.
Dr. B performed robotic Divinci hysterectomy on me. Best surgery ever! Minimal pain & fast recovery! Hes also got great bedside manner. I would highly recommend.
Dr. B was third referral after a growth was found by my original ob/gyn. Very good bedside manner, spoke with me and my spouse with directness of what he could tell from the charts and what he couldnt determine. Surgery was difficult as the tumor was rather large and in a very difficult spot, but he did a great job on minimizing the incision as much as possible. Follow up with staff was amazing. Really thankful for this wonderful crew of understanding people during my stressful period right up to the surgery, and they were great support during my post op period.
Dr Bomalaski did a robotic hysterectomy . He is professionalism, communicative, excellent service. Smooth process. Excelent personnel, everything on time. I don’t have any problems with my procedure . He knows his job. I recommend Dr Bomalaski .
Avoid this guy at all costs; he recommended a surgical technique that more skillful surgeons told us was very ineffective and would be sure to make the cancer spread. He refused to administer chemo because my wife didnt have the surgery done by him - he wants to maximize his revenue, not take the best care of his patients. He is very loud; while waiting for him to examine my wife, we could hear every detail of the conversation he was having in the next room with another patient (basically telling her that her cancer had spread) and we assume patients in the adjacent rooms could hear everything he said to us. Go to a specialized cancer center, dont deal with this dangerous butcher. I will never trust a loved one to his care.
Let me start by saying this Dr is my life saver. When I first met him he put me and my nerves at ease like no other could. Lets just say at 46 years of age and your told you have cancer its a big hit to you and your emotions. He was very professional and eveything was explained what he felt was best for my condition he answered every question I asked. This Dr saved my life and I feel so grateful to him and his staff. They are all very nice and professional.Tommie was wonderful from start to finish and for that I thank her.
I am grateful and thankful for Dr. Bomalaski. From diagnosis 6 moths ago to present, he saved my life. After having breast cancer and 9 moths later stage 3 Ovarian cancer, he saved. My life.To a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable, well educated Dr. Bomalaski was able to give me a cancer free report. Now working on keeping the cancer away. Wonderful staff, NP wonderful chemo nurse fantastic floor while in the hospital. If you have to go through this, you would want Dr. Bomalaski..
Dr. Bomalaski is professional, knowledgeable and skilled. During a scary time he put me at ease and showed that he really cared about me as a person. He wants the best for his patients. I was able to reach him on a weekend via answering service. I am fortunate that I have not had cancer, but I have had serious issues no one else was able to find a solution for. Dr. Bomalaski has really come through for me and I recommend him highly. His staff is also the best you will encounter.
Excellent doctor! Very patient and kind along with his staff. What started out as something hopefully simple turned I to cancer and I feel at ease with him and his entire staff.
Dr bomilaski is the best docter and he did my first surgery my whole family likes him I like him he dont sugar coat nothing he also would come check on me at the hospital..he was very supportive for me and my family .. Im sad he couldnt do my last two surgerys I trust him more then moffit .and hes very kind to me.. I like him never had a problem with him.. not to well in to Dr Blaine across from his side she worked at moffit and i had a very bad experience at moffit the last time . . But hes very honest .. and I tell all my other docters if u refer me to anyone send me back to him he isnt rude and doesnt ever come off rude.. I recently went to Winnie palmer and they were very mean and they are sending a referral back to bomiliski. Because Im pregnant and have cancer. Witch I rather listen to his opioions then the rude yelling I just experienced at Winnie Palmer .I know he will be supportive no matter what the out come is.i listen to him I trust him with my life.. I was 19 when I did my first surgery and he was in tears during my surgery .I love him.
I first met Dr. Bomolaski in November 2009. From the first minute, he put me at ease, knowing how frightened I was with the diagnosis I had received from my Gynecologist. He explained every thing to me at least twice, because I was so nervous. He was patient and understood where I was coming from. The operation went very well and to this day I trust him with my life. The office staff is unbelievably kind and accomodating whenever possible. Dr. Bomolaski has even guided me with other medical concerns. I said that I trust him with my life and I do. Any one seeking a gyn oncologist please do youself a favor and at least have an appointment and see for yourself.
While the doctor did an excellent job with my surgery the staff in an post op visit, did not do so good. I went into office with numbness, tingling and burning pain in my thigh; the doctor wanted me to have a stat doppler study and pelvic ultra sound,. I was at office at 330pm; the medical assistant stated she could not make an appointment until the next morning at 830 am; radiology does not close; she could have made an appointment that day. So it is now Friday December 19th 10 am and still no damn appointment; I called the office twice; I talked to the office manager and told her I was highly unsatisfied with this care and the medical assistant has not done her job; so I am now supposed to wait until this twit calls me and I may have a blood clot in my leg and I have to wait? Really; worst care ever in an office and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Very unprofessional. Like he already had a chip on his shoulder before he even saw me. Basically everything about my appt was wrong. He came in yelling at me telling me I was a waste of his time and that he had 10 other women just like me he had to see that day and he didnt have enough time. Basically it was either you do what I say because Im the best with all the high tech equipment or get the hell out. I didnt care for the staff either. Yall need to keep in mind that we are the patients. We are the ones with cancer. We are the ones who are sick & in pain. You are the professionals. Ive been waiting almost 2 months for all of my testing and biopsy.I call every week to see what the hold up is with no answers and no call backs. Im done. You clearly DONT care about all of your patients. My specialist who diagnosed me has done so much more for me as a patient and is making sure everything that is needing to be done is getting done. No excuses!! Cancer is not a joke. Your office needs a serious wake up call. And for the record this dr put in my medical records that I have a bad attitude and now all the drs I see are giving me a hard time. I didnt realize me crying and having my whole world shattered was having a bad attitude. This guy wouldnt even treat my pain. It cost me $417 to get in to see a pain management Dr and $1000 for the meds. It wouldnt have costed me a dime if the oncologist was actually doing the job hes getting paid to do. Bad experience all around. Would not recommend. He also lied to my medical provider stating he gave me a list of other oncologists which is incorrect. I had to call my specialist asking for help.
Personally, I did a significant amount of research on OBGYNs / oncologists for my mother and Dr. Bomalaski was the most highly recommended doctor in Brevard County. I would take these other negative reviews on here with a grain of salt. Have a look at HealthGrades and youll see real reviews. Reading these negative reviews actually inspired me to leave this comment. My mothers surgery was a success and the doctor was attentive before and after the surgery. Couldnt have asked for a better doctor!
Amazing Doctor, although I was hesitant at first about having a full hysterectomy, I have NO regrets! He took his time explaining all my options. Cant say enough great things about him and his staff!
Bad, get out, get someone else while you can. Terrible doctor. Tried to do surgery on my friend when she wasnt even a candidate for surgery. Pressured us for surgery, told us to come in immediately for it, then when we went to another doctor for a second opinion it said in the notes they had changed their mind on doing the operation to cover their butts, and we werent ever informed of that.
Appointments are a bit rushed but the staff and doctor are so nice and caring. He is very down to earth when talking and staff is very professional. Happy i have found this doctor.
Wonderful Dr, and a wonderful team. They are always kind and caring. Thanks to them, I am now 1 year cancer free. Highly recommended. 😊
Would give 0 if possible. This doctor is cold, indifferent, dismissive. Only wanted to talk about himself. Cut me off when I tried to answer his questions.
Absolutely love this Doctor 😀 Professional, cheery, compassionate and the BEST surgeon anywhere.
He saved my daughter’s life! I will be forever grateful!♥️♥️♥️
