Clean facility and friendly staffs. I respect the work they do as a non-profit.2 stars for explicitly refusing to bill PrEP lab work and routine visits as preventive care, despite federal law literally mandating so. For a clinic focused on sexual health and well-being, this was honestly a huge shocker to me. At least they were upfront about it and let me voided my visit when I refused to proceed further, so I wasnt held liable for any of the services.Dont come here if youre looking to start treatment on PrEP.
I went in for gender affirming care and the staff have been nothing but the most wonderful and caring doctors ive ever interacted with. Theyve been very receptive to my needs and goals w.r.t. hormone therapy. They make me feel like they are genuinely interested in my well-being. And to top it off, this is the only clinic I have never been misgendered or deadnamed a single time despite not having my legal name changed.
They give advice that goes against the guidelines provided by the American Academy of Family Physicians and are unwilling to provide physiological explanations for it. The parking lot does feel safer than the Redwood City location.Editted to add: received a call from a physician who oversees these locations. She took the time to discuss the situation with me and will provide the appropriate feedback and education to the provider. My tip for the Redwood City location is to make sure you identify the location of the door ideally before exiting a vehicle, getting dropped off etc. (Will note that I had an excellent experience there last year once inside!).
I would go with zero star if there was such an option! The staff lied to me several times. I was told that the medicines were preventive so the visit wouldn’t cost much but I was charged about 550$ for a birth control prescription! When I said it’s too much for a visit to prescribe existing preventive medicines they said it would be much cheaper if you enter your salary in the form. When I wrote it they said sorry, it does not make any difference. My salary is not a big number, It’s actually a little above SF poverty line!!! But I think they expected me to be below that!
Incompetence and worse. My father was suggested a PCP that met his requirements and made an appointment. Lacking a confirmation text, I called back and was told they could not find him in the system. WIth social services on the line as witness, my father called to make another appointment. He was told his PCP was no longer available but Dr. Habibi was going to see him and an appointment was made. On a daily basis they sent texts confirming the appointment and we replied. 35 min before the appointment itself we got a call telling us the appointment was cancelled because Dr, Habibi is not the PCP of record. But, Isabel said, he could see my father if we pay in cash. When asked how much the response was we do not know. Does it sound like bribe solicitation from a 83 year old in pain? Or just incompetence? Unacceptable either way.
Everyone here was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. You can tell that they go the extra mile to help their patients feel at ease. The office is also very clean and orderly and it was not busy at all on the day which I visited. I had an appointment and was seen promptly. All of my questions were answered and I never felt rushed. Its also easy to find, has a large parking lot and, (at least on a Thursday afternoon) there was no one outside picketing which is always a nice bonus.
Staff is always welcoming and nice, everything always clean and tidy. My biggest issue is their tardiness. Im always on time to my appointments but they arent. Im always waiting 20-30 minutes or more to see my doctor. Im confused why appointments are made if they can never help you in time. Its really frustrating to sit there forever when you were on time. They really need to work on that. I however cant be late or I get rescheduled... sorry but just because im not a doctor doesnt mean my time is not valuable.
Very helpful staff. Went only for one thing and ended up getting a lot more. Nurse and doctor were very nice and attentive, unfortunately I do not remember their names but both the nurse and the doctor were amazing! They care for you and your health.
Doctor Abraham and stuff have not ever helped my brother. He has been in pain for the past few weeks and they keep telling me that doctor is never here or its busy. What is the point having a MD the really doesnt care about you. I definitely dont recommend this place for anyone. If you come here, they will tell you the same thing...... Doctor is busy, or unavailable.
Easy to use in our neighborhood. Clean and nice office. The main thing is a very helpful staff. All of them. I really appreciate their help and care of my kid. Folks, dont be in nervous anxiety, give them a little bit time and they do the best for you! Thanks for your job!
They don’t tell you up front how much fees will be for testing and was significantly higher $450 for std testing. Be aware before you come in.
So grateful for the care I’ve been able to easily access here!
Horrible. My doctor couldn’t see me so they scheduled me an appointment here, the worse they cancelled my appointment twice, finally here for my appointment they took 1:30 minutes to see me.. not professional the staff sucks…
My appointment was for 10:30a and its now 11:45a and i still havent been called. Unprofessional. On top of that they put me down for a different reason than i called in for and now im waiting for a room to open up. This is a waste of my time. Ridiculous.
Nice enough staff... Takes way too long to be seen, been here an hour and still waiting to be called. If youre in a hurry, definitely go to another office.
Wrong online Schedule. Walk-ins are never guaranteed??-Veronica.Staff rushes in with no eye contact and locking the door right behind them.Bruh..umm Hi??..
They speak Spanish?...I need a gynecological checkup
