Dr. Connie Alford and her entire staff are magnificent! They made my partner and I feel so comfortable and really took their time answering all of our questions. Could not be happier to be in such compassionate, able hands. Thank you!
My husband and I have had the BEST experience with ivfmd, and we are so grateful for Dr. Alford and the rest of the team. All of their nurses are the absolute sweetest, and it’s very apparent that they care about their patients. This process can be overwhelming, but they made it so much more manageable by taking the time to explain each step in the process to ensure we understood what to expect. We can’t thank them enough for their compassion and guidance while making our dream of having a baby come true!
We are having a baby boy!!! First try is all it took!!! I can’t thank Dr. Alford and her team enough for the joy that’s about to join our family. The process was explained to us step my step and everyone was very communicative through the entire process. We will be back in a year to do it all over again in the hopes of adding a little girl to our lives. Thank you Dr. Alford and team!
IVF MD is truly a wonderful place! The staff, nurses and doctors are all incredible. I have been a patient of theirs for over 5 years and I have two beautiful and healthy children. I found that they made you feel extremely comfortable and fully respected your privacy. The nurses, Vicki and Danielle are truly outstanding people. Dr. Alford always made time to explain the process and answer any of my questions. Fred the embryologist is so incredibly professional, smart and caring. He takes such care of the embryos and goes through every step ensuring he never misses any detail. I always felt very comfortable during every transfer. They make you feel like family! I put so much trust and faith into this facility and they delivered! I have NEVER once had a negative or bad experience here. The entire staff is so kind and very knowledgeable. I recommend anyone I know going through infertility issues to IVF MD. I am so grateful for this place! Because of them, I have my two beautiful, wonderful and healthy children. Truly thank you for your love, support and utmost professionalism! You all go above and beyond!
I had a wonderful experience at this office!!! From the receptionists, to the nurses, to Dr Alford I always felt comfortable, and they always made me feel like family! Dr. Alford is so knowledgeable, and committed to helping her patients and genuinely wanted to see everyone succeed. I also absolutely adore Vicki. She was always so warm and welcoming, and always answered all our questions as silly as some were! I would 100% recommend Dr. Alford and her staff to anyone!
Thanks to Dr Alford and her amazing staff today I have my miracle baby! Their love, compassion, and knowledge was what kept me going. From the start to the end the IVF team was nothing short of amazing! Forever grateful for my IVF family! Best team in Naples.
Will always have an extra special appreciation for everyone that works here. For over 10 years my wife and I were trying to have a child, and no luck. Many other doctors told my wife is was nearly impossible to have a child of our own, but our 3.5 year old boy is a testament to what they can do. If you are looking for the most knowledgeable and caring group then look no further. We will always recommend them to anyone looking to start their family!
Front desk will not call you to let you know your insurance is not covered, they will estimate the first visit from $200-400 at the time you arrive to the appointment, then they will say you can check on the prelude app, which I pulled up the app in front of the front desk personnel, there was nothing in the app regarding Insurance. The doctor is an OBGYN but will bill insurance under fertility clinic.Upon walking into the office, there was a customer there trying to understand the reasoning as to why she was being charged for something she never got. Buyer beware.
Awful experience. Usually if a person is attending an appointment at facility of this sort, they may already be in a somewhat vulnerable state. From the time you walk in, there is a very cold energy in the office. During my visit the front desk girls we’re more focused on their door dash orders and who ordered what, rather then checking in the patient. After waiting in the uninviting waiting room, listening to everyone’s breakfast order, we were move to another waiting area smack dab in the middle of the office, in front of all the patient exam rooms. So hopefully you are not self conscious about your situation. We were then moved to the doctors office, where we reviewed our intake paperwork line for line. The doctor explained to me I would need some additional testing, which I mentioned I may have already had a few previously, and if she had received my previous records, which she had not. After reviewing intake papers, she had me fill out 2 record requests forms for medical records, which the girls at the front desk reiterated multiple times it was my responsibility to follow the records to make sure they end up where they need to go. After filling them out and giving about a week and half time frame for transfer of records, I called to follow up and schedule necessary appointments only to be told the record request forms had been misplaced and they had never even been sent. If that werent bad enough they sent me an invoice today for a copay that was paid in office at the time of the visit.
The front reception staff are professional and nice. They always accommodate my schedule and answer my billing questions. Everyone who has taken my vitals/blood has been so sweet and I look forward to working with the rest of the IVFMD staff. My nurse Maria is a true professional!
Dr. Alford was great! She answered all my questions and explained everything very thoroughly!
Started seeing Dr Connie Alford in 2020. NINE months after testing, ultrasounds, etc. we have our first IVF transfer mid 2021. Two months later we miscarried. We had 2 other embryos but the embryologist said they weren’t high grade enough, so they were discarded. Things happen unfortunately but we knew we wanted to try again with Alford.2023 we scheduled our consult for IUI this time. Four months later they are trying to convince us to do another IVF cycle. They used the “Oh if you don’t want to do IVF, we have to wait for consent form to be generated by legal to get started and no one knows when that could be.. could be a week, could be months OR we can start IVF right away without getting legal involved….. due to the less than 10% chance of abnormalities from our genetics testing. Even our Genetic Experts (that Connie recommended) cleared us to continue the IUI process due to the low chance of risk to our future children. Well two months later STILL no word from their office. Not even a followup to let us know where they were with the process. When I emailed to inquire, they still had no consent forms to sign.” They’ve been in business since 1991 and don’t have consent forms available? They’re trying to break us.. using our desperation and vulnerability to manipulate us into doing something that we’re not ready to try until all other options are exhausted such as IUI which we’ve already been told we qualify for.I don’t believe Dr Alford was empathetic to our situation. I also don’t believe she’s passionate about getting us results, especially in a timely manner. So disappointing...
Infertility is never an easy journey but the staff at IVFMD and Dr Alford made our dreams come true not once but twice! It wasn’t an easy experience, there were definitely moments of despair and frustration, but I always new the entire office cared and worked as hard as physically possible to get the job done.
This place should be extremely grateful that Im not putting a lawsuit against them. They misinform and simply lie to their patients. If I knew then, what I know today. We would never have gone here. Everything to milk their patients for every single cent.
I do not recommend this place to anybody, both of my experience there was unpleasant. Most of the nurses are very unprofessional for instant, because I did not want to do a certain test I was told my baby could be deformed are have a deadly disease which me nor my significant other have. I am 110% sure because I am a sickle cell blood donor I have been doing this for years. And it even got more interested when I refuse to the receptionist/the building person that I did not want to use my insurance. I was going to pay for this visit out of pocket which lve been doing since our first visit with extra cash on our account, but again it became a problem.. the nurse wanted to advise me that I will be paying thousand something dollars out-of-pocket, and she couldnt do the drawing of my blood until they figure out the payment which then I was forced to put my insurance on file. I find it awfully crazy that my girlfriend which is of a different race did not have to go through the same thing I have to go through even though Im the one that paid for it, If I didnt have the money to pay for it, why would I waste time coming there to deal wit dunderheads. And I am trying to get in contact with the other facility So we can continue our process At a strong-minded welcoming environment!!!!
I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. My entire experience was horrible and traumatizing. My husband and I went to our consultation appointment. We got our vitals done and then sat down with Dr. Alfred, who did not introduce her self. She started by asking medical history questions. When she finished she said “ well I cannot help you unless you loose 15-20 lbs” . I had recently been diagnosed with PCOS, have been exercising 5x week my entire life and track my food. I began to explain the many life style changes I had made which limited success. She proceeded to cut me off and say “ well it’s hard, but I know you can do it” . You just need a nutritionist to tell you what supplements to buy. Never once asked what changes I made or what I was already taking. She had not looked over the lab work and semen analysis that we had already done. She then proceeded to tell us that we had to get genetic testing to prevent things like “Mental retardation” and “ things that put people in wheel chairs” . Yes, that is a direct quote. Those comments alone were offensive. She then proceeded to tell me well since you have to loose weight “ we will do the bare minimum lab work”. I then asked why would I do that work if she was unwilling to help me anyway. She then said “ well then you’ll know how long you have to loose the weight.”.Again, for someone who claims to be an expert in PCOS she lacks empathy and compassion. This clinic is more concerned about having the highest success rates over helping women who are struggling to get pregnant. The only work with patients they know will be successful. It is an experience I will never forget. If you are looking for help, look elsewhere.
***Update***. We conceived our first child in 2019 because of Dr. Alford and her amazing team! We conceived our second child in 2021!I am so thrilled to have found this practice. I had been struggling with fertility issues, and IVFMD has taken such amazing care of me. They are 100 times better than my previous clinic in Tampa. Dr. Alford and the nurses (Vicky, Danielle, and Katy) spend so much time with you to make sure you’re comfortable and taken care of. This is so hard to find. Dr. Alford, all of the nurses, the office manager, embryologist Fred and his team, are all amazing and truly care about your situation. They individualize treatment to where you have such a higher chance of conceiving. I’d like to thank Dr. Alford, Vicky, Katy, Danielle, Stephanie, Jessica, Fred, and the rest of the team for such personalized care and comfort during this IVF process. I love coming there. They treat me like family. I couldn’t ask for more.
Extremely happy with the treatment I received by Dr. Alford and her staff at IVFMD in Naples. They were extraordinary, made me feel comfortable and confident in my treatment. They understand what their patients are going through, try to help in any way possible, and go above and beyond to get the results youre looking for. I made the trip 2 hours away to see Dr. Alford, and it was worth every drive. Id highly recommend them to anyone!!
My husband and I are the patients of IVFMD clinic and we are in the middle of our IVF process. Right now after egg retrieval but before the transfer. I want to say that every single person from the stuff of the clinic is super nice and very professional. Dr., Connie Alford itself is very empatic, warm and understanding person. In this clinic every single couple is treated very personally with very warm and inviting approach. They understand that to have a baby it’s a dream, which is sometimes hard to get for the couple and they are doing everything what they can in a best possible way to make that dream come true. They are making sure that the fertility journey it’s not just the medical procedure but a special time also full of magical moments.Overall IVFMD it’s a very professional clinic withvery professional and friendly people which are making magic every single day.Highly recommend!Marzena.
We scheduled our appointment a month ago. We were very happy to get some advice on why we are unsuccessful getting pregnant. My wife confirmed the appointment at 8 AM this morning. Shortly afterwards they called me left me a message saying they were canceling our appointment because we were “unconfirmed” we called them back saying we talked to somebody at 8 AM this morning and we have the proof on our phone. They said they don’t have records of that. What a ridiculous place. You would think they would be a little bit more caring and say OK come on in but they didn’t do that. They said because you didn’t confirm we are canceling you. Not a very good way to treat new patients. But we are obviously not patients to them we are a dollar amount so I recommend not even trying with this place. They are probably a little bit to corporate for us anyway. When somebody is willing to spend upwards of $20,000 with your company to have a baby you should probably be a little bit more attentive. I recommend going with a smaller business who will treat you more like a person not a number
Dr Alford and her whole staff at the Naples office are just fantastic. During my time with them they have been come family. They are so caring and understanding to what ever your needs are. You can tell the staff love their jobs.
My wife and I have been trying for multiple years to have a child. After a few years of trying naturally, we decided we needed to see someone because it wasn’t going to happen that way.We starting seeing a doctor in Fort Myers and it was not going well. That experience was a long and unproductive one. We were disheartened by the doctors bedside manner and the slow process. We were very disappointed by our results and thought we weren’t going to be able to get pregnant. We thought this was the end. After confiding in friends and family, they urged us to try another doctor. This seems like an obvious option but, based on the previous doctor, we thought it was such a serious issue that adoption was going to be our next step. That is when our story with Ivfmd started. We were recommended to them by a friend of my wife. From our first appointment we knew this was going to be a better experience. From the staff, nurses, and Dr. Alford, we were so happy with the experience. They were so caring and helpful. Coming from such a cold experience from the first doctor, this was so encouraging.Dr. Alford, from our first meeting was so kind and had already starting thinking of a plan of action to begin the process of trying to help us.We already had a ton of tests and been on medications to help us for our particular issues. So after reviewing our records and speaking with us she had suggested a plan of action and how we would proceed. We understood the process fully and that the initial procedure (IUI) were less likely for our particular situation but worth a shot before a potential IVF procedure would be tried, if the IUI wasn’t successful. Our first IUI was technically unsuccessful but it was because we missed the timeframe by a day for the procedure. It’s a little tricky to try and match up schedule wise, so more unlucky than anything else. The second attempt was unsuccessful but with the encouragement of Dr Alford, we decided to try again. Our third attempt of IUI was….Successful!!!We were so surprised and when they called to tell us. We knew it could work but with all our history, we figured IVF was going to be our most successful option. My wife is currently in her third trimester and everything is luckily going very well.I wanted to share our story to help anyone who is discouraged. This was a five year journey and had us thinking that it was not going to happen for us.This place from the first appointment to the last one, was amazing. They are so caring and attentive. Thank you Dr. Alford and all the staff. We are so happy with your help.
Dr Alford and her staff are a breath of fresh air. And we cant thank them enough for blessing us with a child!! I had been with another RE previously and she was so much better. She pays attention to all of the details and never made me feel in the dark about how things work and what is going on with my body. Her approach and bedside manner is 10000 times better than any of the other REs in the area. They are totally on it at this location, nothing falls through the cracks. I highly recommend them.
I will be completely honest I have been doing fertility for 16 years I have been seen by many fertility Drs. The Dr I saw was very nice and I like her energy she is actually the only reason why I kept coming back because I truly thought this was going to be legitimate which the Dr was. However my issues are strickly with the staff.. I can not get past the office staff and how they handle and conduct business and their patients. Starting from the initial sign up for appointment I was offered free tests, but Because of covid I could not do what they wanted specifically and it was on a Sunday I signed up. They literally had the features turned off. That week the main office contacted me to get me started. At my initial visit I was made to pay for my free tests. I emailed that original lady she argued with me in emails then her boss started emailing me and she sent only some of my emails to her boss (she forwarded abd highlight the emails I sent her) which I had to inform her of all my emails as well since they didnt want to give me that free tests I also highlighted the areas for her... The boss did correct that mistake and they credited my account. Then at our next visit after we got done with all the labs required they told my husband and I if we came together for our follow up to go over the rest results they would charge us separate fees for that visit not one together if we did an in office visit so we choose to do a video visit one so we could get both our tests results together since we were required by the Dr to them together. Again not the Drs fault. Now today when I tried to be seen for irregular issues of my cycle the office staff literally said they have not tested me for those issues and I need to go to my gyno. Hello thats why I hired your practice because my regular Dr cant help me... I am very much disinterested at this point in any further care with them, I feel like the office staff is as well and just wants to keep my credit. I will reiterate that my issues are not with the Dr I think she was great but I cant continue with a place that does not help me with my issues.
Thank you very much for helping us make our dream of having a family come true. As well as for being so understanding and patient with us. We want to thank you and all of your lovely staff from the bottom of our hearts!Thank you, Connie Alford
Dr. Alford and her team were excellent, professional, and courteous. Highly recommend.
Had an appointment set up for Wednesday a week and a half ago and they pushed my appointment back the day before I was supposed to go, even though they called yesterday to confirm the appointment with no issue. There priorities are messed up because me and my wife are on a time crunch trying to get pregnant and they disregard it completely.
Dr. Alford and her staff treat each patient like they are their only patient. They make a very emotional time seem manageable. I couldnt have been happier.
Terrible experience! I was made to feel embarrassed by my interaction at their office, especially going in for something already so sensitive in the first place. I did everything I was asked to do by their staff in setting up my appointment and was turned away.
Watch out this people don’t know what they are doing I went there a year ago and I got a bill recently cause They said my insurance did not cover one of their blood test that they do in the office ..”actually “And they know for sure none insurance covers because that’s what this lady said over the phone and I’m wonder !! Why you did not tell me back that time ?is this a joke I’m really upset and disappointed they gonna send me to collection and I have to pay for their mistake There is a really bad team work ….not body know what the other do or say 👎🤷🏻♀️ Not recommended 🙅🏻♀️
They only accept patients with age below 42. They only want to do easy things and care about their successful rate. Dont thin they are professional.
The worse place to make appointments don’t go there
Such a kind and professional staff!
The worst placeOnly money money
They are only interested in money, they treat you like a number, they are not interested in whether you stay or not.Pregnant, I dont recommend them at all 😡
Dr. Alford, an excellent doctor and her team of assistants, the nurse Maria, the receptionists, in short, all of them are a love of people, 100% recommended, the clinic is excellent in organization and cleanliness.
