Dr.Miller delivered my baby girl. It was the absolute best experience! While at A Woman’s Place over the duration of my pregnancy I was able to meet with all the doctors/staff at each appointment and they are all amazing. If I ever am blessed to be expecting another little one again- I will be back 🤍 A Woman’s Place is the best. 10/10 recommend
Went here for the beginning of my pregnancy, but had to change OB due to a really rude ultrasound tech (I don’t remember her name maybe it was Britney, but she was blonde with glasses) she made me feel very uncomfortable and was so dismissive. Sadly, she ruined the whole experience at this place for me. The doctors were okay and the office staff was whatever. When I called to have a women’s place to transfer all my medical record they did not care to ask why they did it without hesitation.Would not recommend this place especially to new moms.I am in such better care now at another OB with an amazing ultrasound tech, doctor, and office staff who makes me feel very comfortable.
I recently visited Dr. Cristina Tzilinis and had an exceptional experience, which is why Im giving a well-deserved 5-star rating. From the moment I walked into the office, I was impressed by the promptness of the visit—there was absolutely no waiting time, which is rare and truly appreciated.Dr. Tzilinis is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also kind and pleasant. They took the time to sit down and talk with me, ensuring that I fully understood my situation and the options available. What really stood out was the transparency when discussing potential menopause treatments. Dr. Tzilinis recommended options that were not only effective but also cost-efficient and natural, rather than pushing more expensive solutions.Overall, the combination of prompt service, compassionate care, and honest guidance made my visit a truly positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Cristina Tzilinis to anyone seeking a doctor who genuinely cares about their patients well-being.
I have been a patient of Dr. Clements for over 11 years. I have been a patient of A Woman’s Place for longer. In that time, I have always been treated with respect, kindness and compassion. The staff, nurses, and Dr. Clements have always given me excellent service. No one is perfect, but you can tell who does it for the money and who does it because they’re called. Dr. Clements has helped me with so many of my anxieties and changes throughout the years. She’s always done what’s best for me and has never treated me like I’m some medical record. To read some of these reviews is surprising. So, I’m here to make sure that others see my post.My mom died from breast cancer at a very early age of 44. This year I will be 44 and you can imagine how I have been handling it. I’m very fortunate because I’ve had a doctor who’s encouraged me to get the gene test and personally called me with the results. Even though the results were in my favor, she still wanted me to be proactive and get my screenings regularly. Reminding me that I need to live life to the fullest and answering many repetitive questions and concerns.Today I had a procedure done to help with “common” issues that women have at my age It was smooth and effortless. She gave me specific instructions and told me what to expect all the way through.I always feel relieved when I leave. Thank you everyone at A Women’s Place. 11 years and counting. And thank God for placing inthese physicians in my life for these seasons.
If I could give 0 stars I would......Trying to call into this place you will be waiting a long time to even try to get an appointment. When I finally got through to someone they would say they need to look over my records from the ER but clearly it seems as if they didnt look into this because after going to another ER it should have been caught that I was having an ectopic pregnancy which is life threatening.I went here a couple times because I was having issues with an early pregnancy after going to the ER twice. They had me have blood drawn 3 times and it was going to be fourth time to monitor my HCG pregnancy levels. When I called in and let them know I was having a lot of issues I would go into the office and just talk to someone and once again be told it was too early and I would need to do more bloodwork because they cant tell if it is a miscarriage or ectopic even though I have been bleeding for more than a week.If you can find a different doctor do so. I would never step foot here again let alone recommend my love ones to go here. The last visit I had was yesterday and I was told not to go to the ER because they just need to look at my bloodwork again even though they received two ultrasound results from my ER visits. My new doctor let me know this could have been caught earlier and it was good I came into the ER to get this checked out.Its sad because I really could have lost my life and if it wasnt for me being so consistent it probably could have happened.Stay away if you can.
A woman’s place have exceeded my expectations. As a former patient of Dr Thompson’s, I was on the hunt for a new OBGYN. I got an appointment far out with another well established OB in town for my pregnancy which is understandable considering it’s Naples and providers are always busy.As I had a complication with my pregnancy, I could not get in earlier with that OB. Although they knew of my problem, they still couldn’t accommodate me.I reached out to A Woman’s Place after finding out they take my insurance. From the first phone call, to them accommodating me into their schedule asap, to every single staff member from check in, ultrasound tech, nurse, and PA, they have been wonderful and sympathetic.Abby Krembs PA-C was amazing, so comforting, and answered all my questions and concerns. She was very knowledgeable and sympathetic. I genuinely felt cared for in this practice. Everyone has been pleasant, and I can say that Dr Thompson should be proud of who took over his practice and patients.I am looking forward to seeing you guys next time, as you have gained a loyal patient ❤️
Yes not comfortable here after my second visit. Britney my ultrasound tech was very plain and made my 20 week experience far from amazing. Sadly she was rude and dismissive. She pretty much told me to leave my kids in the lobby by themselves or reschedule, No joy for me, my family or unborn baby. Then matters was worse with Dr Miller. Her approach was very saddening and aggressive, she was very judgemental and attacked my husband because he came to my appt in his work clothes 😒 she racially profiled him because of his attire and her own assumptions. She not once made the attention about me and my unborn. I will be seeking a new provider ASAP. So glad I am making this change earlier than later.
I have been seeing Dr. Parker for about 3 years and she is excellent with her bed side manner. I have referred many friends and family due to such great care I’ve always received here. They are on top of insurance and never take long to bring me back into the patient room. Also easy to get in quick as a returning patient.
Doctor Sheppard is so kind, he reviews stuff with you, takes time to talk to you and doesn’t rush you. I’ve been going to him for the last 5 years and I will do so until he retires! He’s educational and makes you feel comfortable. He explains what he’s doing, etc. I’ve been recommending him for years and will continue to do so!
I typed a huge review and it dissapeared. I will just say Dr. Parker, Dr. Heitmann are incredible providers. I was having spotting for about a week, so the LPN Jami ( who is also awesome) told me to come in for a US. I was told the news nobody wanted to hear: my baby was no longer. There was no heartbeat. To say I was devastated was an understatement, I was to be 12 weeks pregnant that friday . Dr. Parker informed me that day and I was so upset, she consoled me and allowed me to cry as long as I needed to in the room . I told her I would call her on how I would like to proceed. The next day I started to get very intense pains/ cramps/ contractions like .. it was so painful I was screaming. I was home alone and was on the floor in pain, A womans place called ( I think Cammy or Sarah, I cant remember because the pain was so bad) She ended up staying on the phone with me for 15 mins while I screaming in pain waiting on EMS to arrive ( they called and so did my SIL who was at work) . The nurse was a true angel I needed then. I went to the ER, was discharged eventually after pain meds and was told I should be able to go through this at home ( i was supposed to be almost 12 weeks and the demise they found was 9 weeks 2 days:( ). That was not the case. The next day I followed up with a Dr. Heitmann, he came in, reiterated the sad news and then told me that no tissue or baby has passed I then decided on the surgery. I was starting to be in such pain. He called the ER for me right then and there, had me sign the forms and he said with the pain I am in I may not make it till next week to wait for my scheduled D + C. I then went back to the ER and I ended up having the d +c hours later at the hospital. Although this is nothing that any new mom wants to go through, I am glad I had drs and nurses and LPNs who truly cared about their work. We are excited for our future rainbow baby
This practice has exceeded my expectations since I became a patient. I recently moved to Naples and had to find a new OB/GYN at 28 weeks pregnant. I am so happy I chose A Woman’s Place. I have had only positive experiences so far. Very friendly staff and attentive doctors and NPs.
I could write a novel on how disappointed I am in this practice. I have consistently felt like just a number in an under-staffed large practice- doctors that dont read files (thinking they are checking on me at 39 weeks, but actually checking on me 2 weeks PP), no responses to questions about prescriptions and then miscarrying without direction beyond go to the ER.First, I got bloodwork done, received a notification from the lab that my work was complete- I sent a message in the portal with a question and never got a response. Then, I got a call from my pharmacy saying my prescription for thryoid medicine is ready- without ANY communication or directive from a doctor. I called, spoke to someone at the front desk and asked for someone to call me about the medicine and no one ever got back to me.Then, at seven weeks pregnant, I started bleeding and informed the office. I got a call back from a nurse 4 hours later who instructed me to get blood work and then again 48 hours- something impossible because of the timing in which she called back and the onset of the weekend. The next day I called back asking to for an ultrasound and as I am in the middle of miscarrying a baby- the front desk person, Ingrid, tells me they dont have availability because we are very busy and have a lot of patients (exactly what you want to be told as youre losing a pregnancy). I was told by two or three people to just go to the ER if the bleeding continues. Again, feeling lost, alone and without any directions on how to proceed forward. Then, when my appointment is coming up to confirm my pregnancy, I call to cancel the appointment and I am on hold for 16 minutes before a message comes on to call back later. I go to the portal and to cancel my appointment, they tell me to call the office directly. The communication, hold times, portal directions/lack of communication, etc. is all the more reason you feel like you are not cared for as a patient here. It feels impossible to talk to a medical professional. While I have had good experiences with Holly Miller and Abby Krembs at this practice, the bad experiences have largely outweighed the good.
PA Abby Krembs is just lovely. Well educated, personable & passionate about her career, you can tell she truly cares for each of her patients. So happy I found her!
Must be one of these medical offices where the provider is amazing but the staff is disrespectful and not worth a waste of your time. I’ve been in pelvic pain and was highly recommended to go see Dr. Shephard. My OB/GYN retired and the practice got transferred to them. Well, the receptionist was nothing but rude, and not understanding, putting me on hold several times without letting me speak. She finally offered an appt a month away. A month? I understand there are other providers with sooner appts but as a patient in pain and being transferred from another practice, I prefer to not wait a month nor deal with this rude behavior on the phone. I ultimately asked to speak to a manager and she hung up. This call just took place. Management look into it, staff like this ruins your business. 4/17 around 9:30am.On another note, website, google and phone on hold music say your office hours end at 4:30pm. Yesterday I called at 4pm and the office was closed. I mentioned this to your professional receptionist and she said your phones are off by 4pm. That is not appropriate, patients reflect on office hours to determine when to call. That’s why it’s OFFICE HOURS. Not labeled as phone hours.
The first time I visited the women’s place, I met PA Abby. OMG, I havent seen such a nice and knowledgeable physicians assistant in a long time. I am so glad I found this place, and thank you, Abby, you are the best.
If youre looking for the typical insurance-focused consumer-soul-crushing birthing experience, look no further. Cookie-cutter evaluations, terrible customer service, theyre pretty much robots with zero empathy or critical thinking skills that just read off a clipboard. They ordered a POS Medela pump for my wife without her consent at close to 200$. Plenty of higher-quality alternatives at that price range, pump is unreturnable. I would recommend you find some midwives for your birth experience, will be night and day difference. Dont waste your money and time on this clinic if youre pregnant. Find a local midwife, theyre 1000x better. This was my wifes 3rd pregnancy, and a Womans Place was the worst part of the entire experience.
Best place I have been to by far. Dr. Tzilinis is amazing!! Shes super sweet and extremely knowledgable, I have nothing but positive things to say about her, shes the best. Highly highly recommend!!
This is my second pregnancy with A women’s place. I absolutely love the Drs but two of the ultrasound techs are quite rude. They have snide remarks which I think is unprofessional patient care. One telling me my amniotic fluid was low because I don’t drink enough water and the other one saying “trust me I know how IVF works”. But I do love the physicians. Dr. Holly Miller is my favorite. She’s very patient and personable which is very important to me.
I took a chance with this practice after extensive research and a very long time looking for a doctor that just “clicks” with me. I decided to go with Dr. Shephard. On my first visit, I had to rush out the door due to a family emergency, and they were extremely understanding of the situation. I never got to see the doctor that day, but I was already waiting in the room to meet him after only a few minutes. Second time around, I was greeted by their very friendly staff. The wait time was almost inexistente (again), and the doctor’s bedside manner was superb! Let alone the actual medical component, which was also excellent. It’s nice to finally find someone who makes you feel like they’re ACTUALLY listening! If I could give them 6 stars, I absolutely would!🙌🏼
Dr Shepard and staff are fantastic. They really listen and take time to understand and address concerns.
Absolutely love this place and everyone that works here. The front office staff is very nice and always in a good mood. The M.A that takes my vitals is very nice and easy to joke and talk with. Abby is just the best I’ve ever seen, she makes sure I’m comfortable and always answers my questions without making me feel embarrassed. The best around! I’ll never go to another office as long as Abby is here!
For the better part of this year, I have been disturbed about the care I received at this facility. Having been a patient for several years, I never had a complaint, perfectly satisfied with the gynecological care I had received, until it mattered.Between my doctor and her radiologist earlier this year, they flat out dropped the ball on a mammogram. Months of anxiety and zero answers to my questions about why they were pushing for a biopsy, I finally got the mammogram redone at another facility and I’m fine; no biopsy was ever needed. But it shouldn’t have been this way. My doctor blamed the radiologist for not responding to me, with whom I had no relationship. I blamed my doctor, the person who was in charge of my care, who also didnt respond.I’ve spoken with Dr. Tzilinis at length, who apologized for dropping the ball. While appreciated, it was nonetheless unacceptable. My comments aren’t personal. But when breast cancer is a possibility, you don’t have many chances to get it right. I would look elsewhere for care. The irony here is that when I wrote my review, I didn’t expect to receive a response. But when I did, it was so obviously a form letter response cut and pasted from somewhere as the areas to be filled n such as contact information were left undone. I don’t really care to hash this out any further but the response shown below should indicate, once more, a level of carelessness that makes my point.
If I could give zero stars I would. While the providers are all “nice”, the assessment skills are lacking. I never missed any of my prenatal appointments. In my third trimester, they just measured my belly and used the doppler for fetal heart tones. I asked Dr. Miller if I was getting an ultrasound in my third trimester and she said it wasn’t indicated for me, that everything was going well. My last one was the anatomy scan. When I asked when they start cervical checks, Dr. Miller said “at the hospital when you go into labor”. The day my water breaks, at 40 wks, there was meconium in the fluid. We then rush to NCH, hospitalist does a bedside ultrasound and tells me the baby is breech, it will be a cesarean. I ask if the baby could be turned and he said it was too late to TRY, she was too big. They let me labor at the hospital for hours & waited until last minute for the c-section putting the baby at risk for meconium aspiration. My husband had to go to the nursing station multiple times to tell them contractions were worsening. Baby was born with a labial tear from entering the canal during labor. Overall horrible experience. The providers failed to diagnose breech presentation despite having an ultrasound in their office and me asking for one. It should have been a scheduled c- section and neither the baby nor I would have suffered all the sequelea that came afterwards.
I don’t mind the providers I’ve seen so far, so I will continue to go back for check ups as health care is scarce these days. However, twice when I’ve called I’ve been met with dismissive remarks and unclear answers from whoever was answering the phone. I’m not pleased with that.
I have had great experiences here, especially the past two times Ive been. Dr. Garcia is fantastic and is very thorough. The assistant/nurse that collected the history was very nice and personable. The ultrasound technician was very sweet, professional and made you feel comfortable. I SO wish I had been using them when I was pregnant and had my baby 2 years ago!
I should have read all the negative reviews prior to calling...Very poor communication over the phone. After waiting on hold for about 10 minutes I requested an appointment to complete my out of town doctors lab request. The lady on the phone was abrasive and snappy. After waiting a few minutes for the lady to identify if my insurance would cover the mandatory consultation needed to draw blood, another lady came on the phone to tell me they cannot do my labs. I asked if they took my insurance so I could schedule the consultation. It was clear to me the first lady was not looking to see if they took my insurance and instead asked for back up. I was asked what insurance I have again, after telling the first lady and immediately she she said no. The team had no sensitivity to my situation and seemed eager to rush me off the phone. I will go to an urgent care instead.
Met all the OB docs in rotation and I am a big fan! Ultimately Dr Holly Miller was on call when I had an emergency and I’m happy it was. She has great bedside manner and kept me and baby safe. Also my goals of having a VBAC were always supported throughout and by all docs.
I was a patient and really liked my doctor but now they do not take Medicare advantage plans.
Ruined my experience as a first time mother. Wish I could give less than 1 star. IGNORANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL LPNs.
When I found out I was pregnant I didn’t know it was standard to not be seen for 8+ weeks. I called to make an appointment with my normal doctor who I love and they wanted to schedule me at 8 weeks. I asked “you don’t confirm the pregnancy before then?” Instead of explaining its normal standard practice unless there is a concern I was told (with attitude) I could go to Planned Parenthood. I scheduled an appointment until I was able to get an appointment at a different practice. The front desk could use some extra training in patient care.
I have no clue how the doctors are, but if the office staff is any indication of how this office is run, then avoid at all cost.I was told I had an appointment and when I showed up (3 weeks later) there was no appointment. When I called to make the initial appointment the woman on the phone told me if my records werent in before my visit they would have to cancel. She told me the time of my appointment and I said it wouldnt work, so she switched it to a later time the same day. Fast forward to when I show up, the lady is claiming the appointment was never made. Why would a person ever show up to a doctors office at a very specific day and time? Why would appointment times even be discussed if a chart review needed to be done first? Half the things the lady discussed with me wouldnt have made sense if she didnt schedule me an appointment. I then asked if I could at least speak to a nurse if I wasnt going to be seen because I think there are issues with my glucose. I was told because my chart review hasnt been completed Im not their patient and not their concern. I asked when the chart review would be done and was told, we have a lot of patients and the urgent people are in front of you. The lady then said theres nothing I can do for you. I left with no indication of when or if I would ever get a call, despite asking. As a physician in the area Im extremely disappointed with this office. I will be sure to not make any referrals to such a poorly run office. I see and take care of my patients no matter what kind of mistakes the front office might make. A chart review takes a matter of minutes. The front staff is a reflection of the providers, so I warn patients of places like these. I wonder if poorly run offices like these in the US contribute to the insanely high maternity mortality rates because they arent competent enough to provide good prenatal care.
Dr. Shephard is an excellent doctor for every reason. I was lucky enough to find him when I needed surgery for fibroids. He was amazing the whole way through and I am super grateful to him for getting me through surgery and feeling great again. I highly recommend him and A Woman’s Place. Everyone there is great. I have read reviews saying the front desk is not so helpful, but each time I have had such helpful and pleasant people checking in and out. I had my babies at Lennox Hill in NYC with top OBGYN doctors and I have to say, I much prefer Dr. Shephard to all previous OBGYNs.
Had my first maternity appt here with Abby Crembs, PA who was very nice & took the time to answer any and all questions I had. The office was very congratulatory on my first pregnancy which was very welcoming. Looking forward to meeting all of the physicians in my upcoming appointments!
Happy with all of the doctors and staff! Gracie is always so kind and very helpful to me and also my daughter who is also a patient
The doctors are absolutely wonderful, I feel great about being under their care as well as being pregnant and under their care. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the doctors, they all helped me threw so much. The front desk however treats me and have always treated me (pregnant or not) like Im just another number and if ever I have a billing question Im looked down upon atleast this is how they make me feel. I absolutely feel like they belittle you they way you are spoken to. Always unprofessional I truly feel like the front make it or breaks an office for me and I am very disappointed but I will not be returning to this office. To make myself clear, this is not due to the doctors, they are brilliant but the front desk needs to learn some manners and how to treat people like humans. Sad because I was extremely happy with the doctors.
GREAT doctors, staff that treats you like family, and truly awesome service!Dr. Emily Clements delivered my oldest and Dr.Holly Miller delivered my youngest. I love this office & so glad they delivered all my kids. I highly recommend it.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m grateful to have found Dr Sheppard at A Woman’s Place. Their staff is very kind and timely from my experiences. The wait time is reasonable and Dr Sheppard listens, offers sage advice and goes above and beyond a regular doc to answer questions. He’s a very well educated and thoughtful OBGYN.
Update postpartum-Dont ever get Ms.Clements!I wish I had a choice to pick who is going to deliver my baby. She is like talking to a very insensitive robot. No compassion whatsoever to hear your opinions on anything because she is above you and her attitude and energy are uncomfortable. Mind you she was 10 Minutes late probably longer to get to me as I held my baby in my birth canal?! Traumatic!!Thank you, after all, Im dealing with preeclampsia, chronic hypertension, and severe anxiety but she just added more stress and on top of that offered me ADIVAN more than once until I said yes in tears, visiting me for the 3rd time, knowing I told you I was a recovering addict for the past 7 or 8 years and didnt want anything that was a narcotic. The Womens place would do everyone a favor and let her go. All the other doctors and nurses provide wonderful comfort and make you feel like youre more than just a patient.Heightman & Dr.Parker have seen me as my OBGYN since I was pregnant with my 1st born ba k 2009 & also with my 2ed child in 2013.Now Im about to have my 3rd boy and Im back with A womens place 2023.I have also recently met Dr. Shepard as he came to visit me in the ICU, hes so nice with a great big smile. Theyre all very kind and caring..💜 Also met Ms.Miller as well shes kind with a big contagious smile, and her energy is great. It gets a little exhausting being high-risk and having to visit so frequently but I will say every visit is quick and pleasant. The doctors are ALL amazing and I feel at home when Im with them.No place I would rather be.Thank you for all that you do to make me feel as comfortable as possible. The staff has been pretty nice as well. Thanks! Highly recommend. ❤️🩹
I’ve seen quite a few providers here and can honestly say they all have been outstanding! I have 3 children and 2 were delivered by Dr. Holly Miller. Dr.Miller is excellent, she always made me feel comfortable and took the time to get know certain aspects of my life to better help me through my pregnancy and postpartum care. The fact that she took that time during routine appointments made both deliveries smooth and stress free. She’s great! Highly recommend!!
Okay! Where do I start?! First off, the staff overall is amazing, but I am a patient of Dr. Abby and let me tell you she is amazing! She goes above and beyond for me as her patient, and she is more than a doctor. I am a young female and I look at her like a sister and a friend. Very professional! I highly recommend this office and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR.ABBY KREMBS and oh before I forget, she is a local so she is well known and she will help you find whatever you need! So thankful for her and her staff.
I chose a woman’s place for my pregnancy care, i met all of the Doctor’s there, and they were all great! But i chose Dr Miller as my Dr, because from the moment i met her, i liked her, she is very knowledgeable and she was always more than happy to answer all of my questions, she has a bubbly personality, she is just an amazing Doctor, very sweet and she made my pregnancy and delivery experience beautiful! She was great with my baby, i have only good things to say about her and even her nurse is the sweetest nurse. Me and my family are very happy we chose her.
I am so pleased with the care I’ve been receiving from Dr Cristina Tzilinis. I highly recommend her.
Be wary of this place.I came in because I was having weird symptoms similar to BV.I told Abby Krembs the symptoms were coming and going, which I found strange. She got a sample and ran some tests and a procedure that my insurance usually covers suddenly came to be about ~ 478$.Apparently she put in the procedure as “investigative”.I have talked to other medical professionals and they told me that if you are having symptoms it is not done that way. I understand if it was a mistake, but I think the worst aspect that made me lose faith in this facility is the fact that I failed claims with my insurance and they will NOT answer the phone to my insurance. The woman who is trying to help me has tried contacting them over the course of a week or two now and still NOTHING. They won’t answer the phone.I definitely won’t be coming back. I’m a student and can’t afford surprise bills for almost 500$.
I am giving a five star review because Dr. Heitmann has been an amazing doctor to me for so many years. However, I am trying to schedule my annual appointment along with some concerns I have and I have been calling your office nonstop for many days a different times, and it’s impossible to get a representative on the phone to schedule an appointment. I’m actually really upset because you guys are normally very good at picking up the phone and I have no idea what’s going on but it’s been very difficult to even get through. I really need to schedule an appointment and I find it Very disappointing that your phone system is not working very well or your stuff is not able to get back to me.
Dr. Shepard is amazing which is why I chose him to deliver my baby. Don’t get me wrong, the others DRs are incredible as well. Very friendly. I’m never in the lobby for a long time waiting either which is great. I read so many negative comments but I haven’t had any issues with anyone there thankfully. I guess I’m a lucky one then!
I absolutely love Dr. Miller! She has made my pregnancy such an amazing experience and she takes such good care of me with all of my health issues. I’ve never had a doctor care so much about my health and what is the best care for my child. All I can say is thank you Dr. Miller for having such an open heart and caring so much about me and my little baby! You are the best!
If I could rate this place no stars I would. I went due to not having periods for a while, I got my yearly done and was just told I was one of the lucky few who didn’t get my period. I ended up leaving with more questions than answers, the doctor barely answered any questions and chopped it up to again me being lucky. I went to a new doctors office and right off the bat I was sent to get blood work done, I had high levels of prolactin. Turns out I have a tumor the size of a golf ball pushing against my optic nerves and wrapped around my carotid causing me to not get my periods and a slew of other issues. Had my doctor taken the time to sit down and listen to me and not just diminished my fear and worries maybe it would’ve clicked in her brain my signs and symptoms and would’ve sent me to do basic blood work testing. Do not come here if you value your life, these people don’t and I guess it turns out I’m not so lucky.
I had a wonderful experience throughout my pregnancy. All doctors, nurses and other staff members were truly helpful in every way needed. Highly recommend Womans Place if you are pregnant. All of the doctors are amazing and special thank you to Dr. Emily Clements who was just wonderful when delivering of our son. Words can hardly express all the gratitude that we feel !!! THANK YOU!!!
I’ve been at a Woman’s Place since my first pregnancy six years ago. All the providers are great (especially Dr. Miller who delivered my first!), and I absolutely love Abby Krembs, whom I have met with the last few years for my annual appointment. She is just lovely, personable, and super helpful!
Ive been going here for the past 7 months of my pregnancy and could not have found a better practice. Each and every doctor and Abby, the PA, are absolutely wonderful. I look forward to each appointment even more because the entire staff has made me feel like family. I dont feel like Im being pressured or demanded to do anything I dont want to or make choices that arent right for me..each nurse and doctor take the time to listen and care for me no matter what it takes. Thank you all for your hard work and for making this pregnancy an absolute joy!
I thought they would be a perfect fit for my first pregnancy I was so wrong! They are all very nice, however they have too short of staff. My first appointment was awful, but I was willing to give them a chance. Then they cancelled my ultrasound! When I called to see what was happening I was told I had to go on a day when they choose, or wait 2 weeks!!!! They need more staff, and should be more understanding that pregnant women want their husband to be with them....
Feel so lucky to be under their care. Everyone is Wonderful, front staff, US techs, MAs, nurses, providers. Thank you for everything you do.I would like to add that Dr. Holly Miller was there for me when I was extremely vulnerable and scared; she was very professional, compassionate, understanding and helpful. Dr. Stephen Shepherd was very informative, patient, easy going and professional. Abby Krems is absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, professional and always responsive. I havent met the other providers yet, but I have no doubt Ill be in excellent hands.
First of all this does not include all of the doctors. Dr. Shepard seems great, thorough and informative. However, I was misdiagnosed on two occasions, thankfully maternal and fetal medicine was on top of my pregnancy, I’ve dealt with rude office staff and most disappointedly during labor the labor nurse told me I needed to stop pushing (extremely dangerous and unnatural) while she got the dr. Dr. Parker than prematurely clamped and cut the chord when I had given explicit instructions for it to be a delayed clamping and for my husband to cut the cord. Then I was refunded three out of pocket payments only to get to my 6 week appointment and was treated poorly by the girl in charge of accounts receivable due to a payment due for the circumcision that I had no idea about. She was extremely rude and shut the door to her office. I opened the door after I realized the tone she was taking. She (Amber). Immediately said, “ you’re not going to pay at all? It will go to collections” before I even said anything at all. If you asked me Dr. Parker should pay for the circumcision. Thankfully we have a very healthy happy baby boy, but the doctors here do not take you seriously if listen to you, they are very concerned with getting paid, and not necessarily doing their job appropriately.
A Woman’s Place delivered all 3 of my children, and I have never had anything but a pleasant experience with all of the doctors, nurses and staff I’ve worked with. Anytime I had a question or concern they would get back to me right away. The doctors that delivered me (Dr. Clements, Dr. Heitmann & Dr. Shephard) were amazing! I felt so comfortable and at ease during my deliveries. I cannot recommend this practice enough!
My doctor Abby Krembs, PA-C was very attentive and she went through all was needed to be done at the appointment. I am really happy with my choice of choosing womans place.
Dr. Jeffry Heitmann is great. But I have been trying to get an appoiment and no one picks up the phone. I tried 6 times, 3 different days, waiting on the line for more than 10 min. And no luck. Please, answer the phone. I would not like to change the doctor. Thank you. Update: I kept trying, and my phone call was answered.
New patient, yet got me in next day for an urgent in office procedure, due to increased pain. The procedure wasnt fun, but was not expected to be, of course. When I called to enquire about appoint the person answering phone was lovely. The person checking me out was lovely.Clean and pleasant waiting room. Did not wait long at all in waiting room or exam room.Only thing I would have added was a post procedure pamphlet or instruction sheet. She verbally gave me what to expect, but not to look for, in regards to what is normal and abnormal.I was unable to return to work due to my job as a school nurse and being unable to use the restroom or cleaning process, due to 20 kids that would be waiting for me, so unfortunately had to ask for note.It was excessive (as explained), but had no idea what the post procedure uptake it was and how often I needed it.Just like a tooth extraction, would have liked to see some post instructions and what to look for, if needed to call.Physician and nurse very pleasant and I felt confidence. I will return and recommend my fellow nurses to Dr Clements.
Location - Good, except you never know what floor youre going to be on that day so arrive early to take the elevator when you waited in the wrong lobby for 10 minutes until the front desk tells you...Front Desk- usually niceCheckout Staff - could use attitude improvementOfficer manager Kristell- super nice but unable to do muchDr. Miller - HORRIBLE - she will belittle you and your pain and problems and rub your mistakes in your face and push you very hard to workout (even if youre in so much pain you end up in the ER). Will do unnecessary surgery, and not prescribe enough pain medication for recovery because yoga and tylenol work for her so it must work for all. If you have an ovarian cyst go to the ER because she wont help you with that either.Dr. Heitmann - rude and dismissive. Will deny any treatment you request, including hormones, even though thats what they do, will ignore your labs because youre in the range, you have to research everything yourself because he will offer no options or suggestions at all. Hes awful at replying to your emails, but dont worry his office staff will forget for 3 weeks and then misspell every other word when they finally reply at your further prompting all while refusing to do common insurance requests for medication you had to research and ask, no beg, for, and then still deny anyway because he doesnt like it. Even though hes a HE and cant take the drug himself, so yeah he doesnt like it. Bet its because the drug rep didnt bring them lunch...?Other doctors besides Dr. Miller and Dr. Heitmann - Unknown but likely fair to say proceed with caution
Dr. Tzilinis was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She read all my records before coming in so I did not have to give her a full history of my surgery. I was able to discuss my current concerns. She clearly understands my situation and was able to give me appropriate feedback. The staff was also friendly and made the visit easy. I highly recommend this place. Im not a fan of going to doctors and have had some bad experiences. However, A Womens Place made it easy and Dr. Tzilinis is a caring doctor.
Dr Miller is kind and listens to my concerns answering any questions I have. She is a wonderful Dr with great bed side manner and would highly recommend her to friends and family. I also love that her office offers mammograms and Ultasound making it a true one stop shop
This is the 3rd time my review of this place has been deleted.I was referred out to a doctor in this facility after being in the emergency room. Dr. MIller I believe. When I called to schedule an appointment (doctors are supposed to see you within 72 hours of an emergency room visit and referral) I was told they would not see me until I paid an outstanding debt I owed. I was unaware of any outstanding debt. I asked the receptionist if I could settle the debt (though I didnt agree with it I was DESPERATE for help) so I could be seen. The receptionist said she would talk to her manager and call me back. She never called me back. A week later I started getting contacted by a debt collection agency regarding this. So they refused me medical care AND refused payment on a debt. How can this be legal?!Why did I stop going to this place in the first place you ask? Well... Here it goes... Dr. Tsilinas was a gem of a doctor, however she does not do surgeries anymore so she referred me out to Dr. Heitman. Apparently he is very good at what he does but his bedside manner leaves little to be desired. I was seen by him and schedule for surgery 2 months out. He gave me little to no guidance on how to manage my pain in the meantime. Two months passed and the night before my pre-op appointment I received a voicemail close to closing time regarding my portion of the surgery I would owe. Two months and not even 24 hours notice to come up with my portion of approximately $500. I did not have that money on such short notice. It was now the morning of my pre-op appointment and I was scrambling to make it work as I had waited long enough already... I asked the receptionist if I could pay for the pre-op appointment or $100 that day so I could still be seen and come up with the remaining $400 by the beginning of the next week before the surgery. I was told thats not how we do things and then asked if I could borrow money from a family member or put it on a credit card. In the end my appointment was cancelled. I asked if I could at least have a phone conference with Dr. Heitman during our alloted pre-op appointment time as it was merely hours away at this point and I wanted guidance on pain management. Again, they refused me care. It is clearly obvious this facility has ONE goal in mind and it is not the well being of their patients. Shame on this facility.
I usually never leave reviews but after having multiple bad experiences at a different practice, I switched and saw Dr. Shephard and had such a great experience! He listened to everything and was very thorough, had great communication and wasn’t dismissive or brushing things off like I’ve had before. Would absolutely recommend him!
Im a fairly new patient of Dr. Emily Clements , and she was great at explaining everything to me , and following up with the results of my biopsy. I have already recommended her to others looking for a Gynecologist. I had a pleasant experience with all the staff I came in contact with .
This practice is run super efficiently, The Dr.s office is the next room over from where the mammograms are taken. I have never had a long wait, Dr. Tzilinis and her staff are top notch.
You will never in your life meet someone as miserable, rude and unwelcoming, as Tonya at the front desk. I have been going to this doctors office for two years now, and I was just denied my appointment because I did not have a copy of my ID and insurance card, which is been the same for two years, which they have a copy of. (Mind you, MY LAST APPOINTMENT I had to leave without even being seen because a doctor had to go to delivery. Fine, obviously I was understanding and rescheduled.) I show up to my rescheduled appointment, already checked in, my 16 months old whining in his stroller, and Tonya informes me that I should’ve been notified to bring those items in, and that is completely false. I even pulled up all of my emails and text messages in front of her and she still continued to speak over me and tell me that there was nothing she could do about it. I will be finding a new practice because to be honest, I’ve never had an appointment go smoothly here. I am finding a new practice and I highly recommend you stay far away. Also, Another story about Tonya. When I was at an appointment to find out if I was leaking amniotic fluid, she told me that my insurance had changed. She made me go back out to my car to call the insurance to get Information that she could have found by clicking one button. I spent an hour on the phone while I was going into labor. When I called my insurance they asked me why I was even calling because the front desk of my doctors office should’ve had that information. These instances are almost 2 years apart, so I’m not blaming Tonyas attitude on just a bad day.At that appointment, once I finally got back, One of the doctors checked me for amniotic fluid and said that I wasn’t leaking. She told me to go home and “put my feet up”. I trusted my gut instinct and went to the hospital and come to find out my sack had ruptured. My baby and I could have died because of her decision to send me home. Please find somewhere else. You’ve been warned.
I’ve been a patient here for 22 years and while it hasn’t been perfect (we’re all humans), I have never considered going anywhere else. I’ve seen Drs. Floriani, Heitmann, and Miller. Never a bad experience with anyone. After three babies, they will have to close up shop for me to go somewhere else. Posted by Jenna Berry
Is sad to see an office with such great doctors have such bad front desk. I have been calling for weeks to get an appointment and someone always picks up and puts me on hold. I have been holding for over 10 min at a time and I have to hang up. I have sent over 5 portal messages asking for a call back and no one ever calls me. I don’t know who manages This offices but wow, they should get a whole new front staff. You are loosing patients over how bad the front desk is. Is disappointing.
I am a patient for just one year with Dr. Tzilinis. My previous Gynecologist from NY was a functional medicine doctor. She tried to find the root cause of my symptoms first before writing a traditional RX when possible. I wanted to find another provider that was in line with this approach in Naples. A Womans Place is very much that and more. Ive learned that when you get older you NEED to balance your hormones. An imbalance (in my experience ) is the root cause for alot of issues in menopause. Go and see your options. Dr T. is patient, understanding and explains all in great detail so you can make an informed decisions. In addition, the entire staff, especially Lisa, are super friendly and very helpful. I have not experienced long wait times at all.Highly recommend Dr Tzilinis!
Dr Tzilinis is so kind and easy to communicate with. She never seems rushed and is open for questions. I have been seeing her for a few years and recommend her highly! Her nurse is very good as well.
I have been a patient of Dr. Tzilinis for over 10 years. She is a thorough and thoughtful Doctor. Her nurse, Lisa, is also amazing and listens to my concerns. They respond to questions and concerns very quickly through their patient portal. I am so happy to have these two in my corner to make sure I stay healthy!
The best annual exam experience of my adult life. The office staff was upbeat and friendly. I was seen on time. Dr. Miller was very patient, thorough and kind. No negatives! Highly recommend A Womans Place.
After reading some of the reviews I was waiting to encounter someone in this office that was nasty...that was NOT the case. I had to interact with 4 of the employees at A Women’s Place and EVERYONE was extremely pleasant. I only waited 5 minutes before I was called back. Dr. Tzilinis was so patient with my list of questions and really took her time answering each and every one of them. I am so happy I switched to this practice.
While I am a fan of the doctors at this practice, the office staff is unprofessional and disorganized, leading me to a general lack of trust in the medical care I received. I was scheduled for a routine test on a Friday. The office closed on Fridays in response to the pandemic, but nobody remembered to call and cancel that appointment. It was only recognized when I called to ask questions about distancing procedures that I was told, Whoops, how did we miss your appointment? Here, let us reschedule. When I rescheduled, I was made to wait for an hour in the crowded office as multiple people came in and out. Everyone was temperature tested and made to sign a statement saying they had no symptoms, but I felt that that was the ONLY difference between the office during the pandemic and the office 6 months ago. No effort was made to reduce the number of clients in the office, and no offer was made to allow clients to wait in their cars or elsewhere. When I finally complained, I was told that there was an emergency, which I can understand. But the staff should have #1 been engaging in better communication about infection control prior to the appointment, and #2 been more open in communicating the delay and my options at the appointment.I felt like my discomfort with being in the waiting room was irritating to the staff. When it finally came time for my test, the technician took less than 5 minutes with me and said nothing.I was as happy to leave as they were to have me leave. I will not be returning.
I never feel rushed with Dr Miller. She is so kind, she listens to everything. She is a lifesaver. Office staff is always friendly too. Highly recommend!!
I have seen both Dr. Floreiani (no longer practicing) and Dr. Tzilinas here and have been a patient for 4-5 years. I believe theyve replaced some of the staff members in recent years. I have had a much better experience with my last few appointments than I used to; some of the previous staff members working in reception and doing the first part of the patient workups were very unpleasant (and for an 18 year old girl still nervous about this type of check-up it just made it way worse). Unlike other reviews, I didnt notice that the reception or exam rooms were dirty at all and there was no musty smell like some people have mentioned. I have always had a great experience with this office in regards to my insurance coverage (United Healthcare) and renewing prescriptions as well, and they have been very accommodating. The only negative I would have to say is that the wait times can sometimes be a little long, but I would absolutely recommend them to any of my girlfriends or family members based on their quality of care.
I have not been to GYN doctor in five years, because I do not like the vulnerable position that you have to be in. I just about make myself pass out everytime I go. One thing for sure Dr. Holly Miller made me feel at ease and comfortable with myself. She listed, gave me suggestions, and is addressing my concerns. I was very impressed for sure. I have had horrible experiences with OBGYN doctors and Gyno Drs. However this was a great experience, well as good as it can be when you are in such a vulnerable position, LOL. She gets an A++++++++ in my book. Thank you Dr. Holly Miller and staff for making me feel comfortable.
Abby Krembs is great. She’s very compassionate, helpful, and made me feel extremely comfortable. I will definitely be returning to her! I thought the front desk staff was great too. Everyone was friendly and efficient
The doctors assistants and nurses are very nice, however the office staff are just mean. Last year when I got my iud out and decided to chart as a means of birth control it seemed like no one supported the decision, even my doctor. I left feeling judged. Im self pay and when I question the costs at checkout to understand what Im paying for - the office lady seemed like thats just what it costs and had an attitude about it. A nurse ended up explaining to me what the tests were so I declined one I didnt need. Still...it amazes me they just expect you to blindly pay $100s... I already was disappointed at my experience last year-I wish I had had time to find a different doctor this year
Staff there was fabulous and that says a lot because I am very picky with the places I do business with. The staff were very courteous and polite and honestly worked with care. Dr. Tzilinis is by far the best doctor I have encountered with. She is very thorough with her work and creates a very calming atmosphere. And she actually listens to your complaints.
Dr Heitmann is awesome. Very thorough, keeps current on the latest research and explains it well. Great bedside manner. The bio identical hormone therapy is amazing. I feel like a new person. Not lethargic anymore, losing weight, just feel better all around. I would highly recommend him.
The staff was very nice at check in and checkout. Sheila, who checked me in was very welcoming. Kara, who did my initial intake was very sweet as well. Abby Krembs is the best! She actually listens, gives great advice, and never makes you feel like she’s rushing to the next patient. Hands down best ObGyn I’ve experienced!
A Woman’s Place in Naples, FL leaves a lot to be desired!!! Terrible front end help that is rude, clueless, impatient, ignorant, and have not been trained well in dealing with the public. This place NEVER answers their phone. This is sooooooo unprofessional for a medical clinic to not provide a phone line that a patient can call to get help.Dr Holly Miller has proved to be extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Dr Holly Miller should have her medical license revoked. This woman is cold, has zero compassion and every visit I or my daughters have had with her, she has talked down to us. We are women and we are patient’s looking for good gynecology care and Dr Miller and this whole practice does not deserve to have the jobs they have.My three daughters and I have left the practice and share this testimony in hopes of helping someone avoid a disappointing experience.
Literally called the office for an hour straight and no one answered the phone, crazy
A woman’s place is the WORST gynecology office in Naples. The office staff is rude and you can blatantly hear them talking about patients. Every time I went there I had to wait 30+ minutes to be seen, even if it was just the nurse. My last and final straw with them was when I had an appointment scheduled at 4pm a few weeks ago with the purpose of removing a birth control implant. I had work at 5, so I got there early at 3:50 and made sure they knew I worked at 5 so i had to leave at 4:50 at the latest. The front desk checked me in and I was put into a room at 4pm. After waiting for 45 minutes, with NO ONE coming to check on me, I walked out of the office and went to work. They completely forgot about me, and the worst part is I didn’t even receive a call from them the next day or anything. This office is terrible & completely unprofessional, I do not recommend this place to any woman whatsoever.
I absolutely love this practice and cant imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Miller is my primary OB and is always super easy going, knowledgeable and I never feel rushed with her. I always find the staff to be kind, courteous and communicative.
My experience with Dr. Steven Shepard was excellent. He took a lot of time to talk with me, and was very thorough. Answered all my questions and gave me excellent recommendations in regards to my health and well being.
This review is based on insurance not care. With every visit to a healthcare facility my insurance is always check BEFORE my visit. If my insuance is not accepted I would get a phone call PROIOR to my appt. Well this healthcare facility did not check and I went in for a routine mammogram and recd a bill of over $900. When speaking to someone in billing she went on to say that they dont check its my responsibility. Not true. I work in healthcare myself and that is not the way its done. Poor billin department. Beware next time you make an appt. Call before and make sure your insurance is accepted. On their behalf they were able to lower my bill to a little over $200 but still its money that I should not be putting out of pocket.
The doctors are awesome! Always very perky, happy, like to hold conversations with you, and very professional (which is what your going for). On a downside, office staff are terrible, horrible customer service, and extremely rude. Seems like if you need to ask a question, they are annoyed that you asked or even spoke to them. Be prepared to not be greated nicely by front office staff!! This company has an opportunity to be awesome, but they need to replace office staff to reach this potential.
I have been coming here for probably 8 years and always recommend it to friends and family. I usually have Dr. Tzilinis who I absolutely love but one time she was unavailable for the day I needed so I saw Abby Krembs, who was also wonderful!! I have also have found that I love the nurses here.
To anyone whom it may concern:Holly Miller. Md is what she is called. Please dont make the same mistake. For two years of uneventful annual exams, everything was just fine. A little cold, but isnt every modern doctor... my husband is of the old school. A nephrologist who had a hand in every part of his patients treatment. He cared!!! This year I had a problem. Lower abdominal pain. She was terse and uncaring. I took too much of her time. I made her later for her next appointment than she was for my 0830. Okay, fine, I dealt with that as the new normal. The final straw was when she scheduled an ultrasound for me with an appointment with her immediately after, to discuss the results. After informing them that my insurance wouldnt cover the md appointment and asked for the results by phone, she told me to go elsewhere. So very upset. Looking for new GYN.
The pre-patient portal is extensive and complete. Ive never had to answer so many questions, yet Im delighted to do so because then the doctors have a much better sense for me and my health history and craft a more precise plan for care. This place is very professional. Im impressed and I am not easily impressed. Dr. Tzilinis exceeded my expectations.
Such a great office with awesome doctors and staff. I have seeing Dr. Tzillinis now for sevenish years and she always goes up and beyond. She takes time with her patients and listens. She is amazing!
I’ve been coming here for three years now. I waited an hour & a half beyond my appointment my time, which isn’t typical so I didn’t mind. Working in customer service myself, I feel that The front desk could use a little work in terms of kindness. I get it though, it was a Monday and doctors run behind sometimes. nurse Lisa Adams is the best nurse EVER, so personable, I absolutely adore her and always look forward to seeing her when I come in. Dr Tszilinas is my absolute favorite as well. Super funny, kind, and makes you super comfortable. I feel like people who negatively reveiwed her just don’t understand her personality. I personally find her personality awesome. I will never go to another gyno. This place is out of my way given that I live in Estero, but it is so worth the drive.
Very poor respond from Dr. Jeffry Heitmann to my health problem.he took a biopsy and did not know what was the problem. he send me home with out any help. on my 2nd appointment same thing no explanation no medical help just over $500.00 bill .Do not go there do your resource
Not a great experience especially with the front desk people who can make you feel like a peasant when trying to figure out billing things. It is very uncomfortable having those billing conversations with the front seat people it’s like you’re a transaction to them. But oh wait, you need to cough up the money on the spot or they won’t treat you..
Dr sheppard is the best listen to concerns and takes time to explain everything goes beyond expectations and hes attitude defines him thank you for .. the best
I am not happy with my experience with the blonde ultrasound tech. I asked for a profile picture of my baby during my 39 week scan and she immediately shot it down like I was out of line for asking. I understand that’s not the point in the scan today but I also am fully aware insurance companies rarely cover these scans and for what I’m being charged there’s no reason I shouldn’t leave my appt without a photo.I am also team green this pregnancy ( not finding out gender until birth) and she had the screen turned off the entire time without even offering to turn it back on towards the end for me to see my baby. By far the worst experience I’ve had and this is my second pregnancy.
I am in the high risk pregnancy category ... due to my age and TBI... I had my first baby when I was 38 turning 39. Dr. Miller was super with every step! I knew I had to have a c-section because I have a titanium mesh plate on the left side of my head ... everything went better then I had ever expected ... thank you for all of your support and professionalism! My daughter, Kennedy is three now and the best gift from God💕🥰 Thank you again 😘
Went to my first appointment and had Dr. Holly Miller- she was kind and made me feel so comfortable! Highly recommend.
This was my first doctors appointment since moving to Florida. Dr. Parker was incredibly wonderful and her nurse was more than happy to help me out, and make sure I wasnt freaked out by needles. Couldnt be more happy to make the drive! Thank you guys!
Billing errors and very rude person in accounting on my first visit and follow up for billing problems last year. Dr. Clements was fine but the front office is what I remember. Ill return unless I have a problem with one of the docs. Also, accessing the patient is difficult. I dont know what browsers they use but my computers are not compatible with theirs.
Okay people, give credit where it is due, they might have remodeled since I’ve been in there, but truth be told, it was old and grungy before.2nd of all, the receptionist does “talk down to you” as most front desk medical personnel do here in Naples. It is so bad, that there have been complaints about the rudeness of front desk medical staff that now there is a new policy in Naples’ medical offices that has a smiley face and it says “we are not rude”, or something to that affect, so it has been a problem here in Naples before. I have experienced it many times myself and I did not precipitate anything to cause that outcome. Otherwise the doctors in there are good, I have no complaints as of yet.
I just read the review below, Katy, and have no idea where you went, but first of all, A Womens Place is on the third floor, so you were probably at the wrong place! Then when I continued to read your review and saw that you didnt have any insurance, then I realized where your anger was coming from! If you want free care, go to a clinic! If you want excellent care, you have to pay for it! I have been a patient of Dr. Heitmans for the past five years since we moved down here, and have been very pleased with the care Ive received and with the clean office!
Ever since Dr. Floreani left the practice there is no protocol for women over 50 as far as your HRT replacement and any concerns you may have. Dr. Floreani dealt with this specifically and they have not brought any other doctor in to replace this very crucial part of therapy for women. they have another Dr. on staff named Dr. Tzilinis - she does not have the bedside manner nor the knowledge to deal with this in the way Dr. Floreani does. When talking with office Manager she indicated that this is a specialized field ? Most offices have a assigned doctor to deal with this. It is not a special field to monitor a women after 50 if she is on HRT. Dr. Tzlinis has a attitude and if you ask her a question and she does not have the knowledge or care to answer she is very unprofessional with her remarks even the patient portal which is not the work ethic of professional doctors they try to assist especially when a patient has to go through a transition with new physicians - if she is challenged and does not want to get involved with you she will put a note in the computer and say she does not feel you are a good fit There is a huge population of women that need this care and most offices provide it if you look for it. they dont discuss bloodwork or even want to order it at times., discontinue pap test, and one time I went no breast exam???? Knowing your estradiol levels, estrone levels . progesterone levels and even other blood work all encompasses this care but they dont want to bother. They only hold you hostage to have yearly appointment and I understand they have to see you, but this is the way to get your RX filled and this is not enough care as far as I am concerned. I was extremely disappointed that Dr. FLoreani left she went the extra mile with your care and seeing her she had no limits of what you wanted to discuss. The office should have brought in another doctor that could pick up her care as she did it.. Not to mention the turn over at the front and the fact that you never get anyone to pick up the phone all is done through portal - which is convenient for most things but to talk to anyone forget it. I have left the office and did find another office that has someone to deal with this and is was so refreshing . I am writing this so perhaps I can help someone else out that needs this care for themselves we are all worth it and today have to be your own healthcare advocate , Dont settle. Listen to yourself when something does not feel right trust it.
Dr. Shepard is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He listens to my concerns and addresses them accordingly. I am very happy with his care.
My English aren’t good I like to post review. My Gynecologist Dr Shephard for annual check. Was calming and kind exam and complimented.good to other year…..Thank you
Dr Shepherd, Christell, assistants and office staff were wonderful!! They were attentive and caring during the whole process. I am so greatfull for the positive interactions.
The rudest staff in SWFL. Feel like you are at a Free Clinic the way they talk to you. Nurses are nice and friendly. Doctor Miller Smiles and is nice but is otherwise cold and clinical. Typical visit is wait 30 mins past appointment , get shouted at by receptionist, see nurse for 5min, wait for 15min see doctor for 3 mins, checkout and have some sort rude comment or checkout receptionist melt down.
My girlfriend went there to address some problems with her IUD, she wanted it removed and was offered multiple additional services by a nurse who failed to mention any sort of cost. Granted patients should have some level of responsibility to know what services are being done to them, you would still expect a company in the medical field to be ethical when helping women with their issues. Instead she was hit with a laundry list of bills that far exceeded the initial cost to remove the IUD. She is self pay, and now faces a hefty bill that I feel was probably unnecessary to what she originally went in for. They quoted her $165 to remove her IUD, we are now looking at ~$1,700 after their upsells. I didnt think a medical office operated as a low-level mechanic shop.
If I could I would give them a negative five stars. They do not care for their patients especially high risk pregnant women like my wife.
Dr Tzlinis was abrupt and for the large premium they charge over and above insurance, that you are responsible for before you enter the office, definitely not worthy. She commented on the nice condition of my abdomen more than the things that are stated in her notes on the visit.
Dr. Parker is very professional and knowledgeable . No nonsense and efficient. I didnt have a long wait, and was taken in at my appointment time, and the whole process was very efficient. The whole staff was friendly and I would definitely recommend this office.
Attention ladies! Dr. Shephard and his nursing staff not only made me feel welcomed on my first visit today but truly cared for. They answered all my questions and were very easy to talk to.
I had my first child a beautiful baby girl 10 days ago. I was blessed to have Dr. Trandem deliver my angel to me. She was so personable and made me feel comfortable and confident through every step of this pregnancy. I was wanting a natural birth and she was on board all the way prepared to help me with my dream delivery but at 39 weeks my baby was still breeched. I was so terrified of getting a csection which is the safest way to deliver a breech baby. Dr Trandem assured me that I would be just fine and have a happy healthy child in no time. While I was in triage before the surgery Dr Trandem came and prayed with me putting my mind at ease. Just like she said moments later I had my baby in my hand! I couldnt imagine taking this journey with any other doctor. Her warm smile, always positive attitude and excitement for my birth made the best day of my life even better than I had dreamed!!!
I should have gone with my gut and cancelled the appointment that was altered 5 times before I stepped foot in the office, yes FIVE. One of which they called to say I could have an earlier appointment, then called again to tell me they found one I could have to myself instead of the doctor being double booked- how can you be two places at once? My symptoms were dismissed as normal and was given lackluster advice. I was suggested medicine I am allergic to, so they clearly don’t read the patient charts in their entirety. I was then told I could look up ingredients on Google.
Always late, 45-1 hour just to be seen for ten minutes. Wish they can communicate and not over book. Really makes the experience trash
So first they messed up the days for my wifes first visit. When we rescheduled it we told them we didnt want the NT ultrasound. My wife, who doesnt drive and has limited English comprehension had to return with a friend who also doesnt speak much English. The doctor took advantage of my not being there to pressure her into doing to ultrasound anyway, and tried to get her to agree to some additional tests that were unnecessary at the time according to the office staff we had previously spoken with. We wont be returning and I dont recommend them, unless you speak English and have plenty of money to spend.
The doctors and nurses are overall very helpful. The reception staff is terrible, and the worst staff member is in their billing department. I honestly hope that these office people encounter the same kind of meanness and attitude when they need to have their own health needs met. What goes around comes around.
Abby Krembs, PA, was phenomenal! I was a Botox virgin, and a little nervous if I’m honest, and now I’m addicted! The results are amazing!
I have been cared for my dr Heitman and his team for 20+ years and they always greet and care for me in a professional and heartfelt manner!! You couldn’t be in better hands for all your womens health needs!!
I made an Appointment because I needed. Medical. Assistance right. Away. They got me in fairly quick. I drove 50 milesTo the appointment only to find out they dont Take my insurance. Maybe that Is something they should have asked?
Love Dr. Clements! Through pregnancy and after for annual wellness checks she is always very kind, explains things well, and never makes you feel rushed.
Effective communication, especially with people in pain, is crucial. Remember, effective communication helps build trust and contributes to better patient outcomes.
Dr Cristina Tzilinis is an excellent gynecologist!!! She is very kind and professional in her work! Also Lisa, the nurse. She does a great job assisting dr Cristina!!!I like both very much!
Absolutely rude and condescending front office and billing staff. Not just to me. Do yourself a favor and look at their all 1-star reviews… they are all about their horrible front office and billing staff which is the face of your business or practice. Would not recommend.
Great experience with Dr. Shepard, amazing doctor, helpful and very knowledgeable, made me feel very welcomed, answered all my questions and concerns.
Everyone at this location is so nice and helpful, whether I’m calling and asking questions or going in the office for my appointments! The staff and doctors are always so nice and friendly.
It’s like everyone who works here wakes up in the morning and thinks “how can I make everyone around me as miserable as possible?”the only doctor they had that was wasn’t a raging angry lunatic left a year ago.God forbid you need to ask one of the front desk women for literally anything that requires the slightest amount of effortI called to ask for them to fwd me a copy of my blood work script & you would’ve thought I asked this woman for her first born child.Absolutely horrendous. Go somewhere else.
Dr. Heitmann is a fabulous GYNECOLOGIST, knowledgeable, calm, reassuring and funny. Happy to have a doc who is up on the latest science on hormones and a great bedside manner. I have referred my friends to him.
If I could give 0 starts omg I absolutely would. This is the worst OB office I’ve been to. The office staff were so rude. I was just on the phone with them when I had gone in to go to my appointment and they wouldn’t let me do it because i forgot my ID. Apparently they don’t know if I’m the right person. Even though I gave them all my personal info ??? Forget about it. I’ve heard they were rude too I should’ve known better
A women by the name Robin Lily Conrow works here. Training to be a certified nurse has been making nasty slurs to women on facebook seeking help to find cheap furniture for her family member moving back from pennsylvania (remind you to a stranger) she was stating that the women needed to go home and that she did not belong her as well as stating she is a resident here and that women is not. I am digusted with her poor manerisum and there is no compassion with this women hurting a strangers feelings like this for no reason . Then laughing when someone mentioned they get prenatal care from the office she works at and they dont feel comfortable going there she pretty much said good luck trying to complain on me in her own words she used have fun made a group of women feel.very uncomfortable with her and i cant imagine the rudeness and the lack of compassion for people born from other states let alone women. She is the receptionist. I have all of the screenshots. I would definetly ask to speak to someone else because of her lack of profession she is studying for is awful.
I have been going to AWP for almost 15 years and have never had a bad experience . Dr Miller and Heitman are the best OB and delivery doctors . Their staff is super nice and offices were just Redone.
I brought my wife here for a visit. The office requires holding a CC on file by a 3rd party. No CC, no service, even if you pay cash, they require a CC on file. I find that inexcusable. I have CCs, thats not the issue. It is the requirement of a patient keeping a CC on file. Tells me where the priorities are.
I love Dr. Tzlinis; she listens to my concerns and makes suggestions. The best GYN I have found while living in SWFL for 10 years.
I have been a patient of A Woman’s Place for twenty nine years when the office was first downtown Naples and my OBGYN was Dr. Peterson, when he moved to the Immokalee Rd office and he retired, I stayed and was a new patient of Christiana’s, I have been so satisfied with her, my awesome nurse, Lisa, and the staff that has always been nothing but professional all these years!
Dr Tzilinas always makes me feel very comfortable. She is through and gives me every opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.
Ive been with Dr Miller for over 8 years, hands down THE best doctor Ive ever had! Would highly recommend!
Fantastic physicians, great office staff and nurses. they always take the time with me. Highly recommend
Very prompt appointment, friendly nursing staff, clean, and pleasant exam experience every time. Very knowledgeable and up-to-date on latest technology and practices
Wonderful physician, that I definitely recommend to other newcomers to the Naples area! Thankful for the friend who referred me to him!
Dr Holy Miller is the best, always comfortable to talk to. Very knowledgeable and The staff is also great.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Miller for 10 years. She’s wonderful! Patient, attentive, and thorough for every visit.
Was great until they decided to drop tons of people with certain insurance. A patient for 15 yrs, I actually need medical help and they drop me right after I make the appt.
Knowledgeable and kind through all the processes. Would recommend any of their team, male or female.
A beautiful experience ,,The doc Emily Clements who delivered me was a success Thank you without a doubt I would return with you !!!! And also to the receptionist KiKi very good attention and very friendly
Dr. Holly Miller and her staff are always so nice ,patient ,and thorough. I would definitely recommend
I went for my annual pap and I just didn’t feel that she cares or showed any empathy. Felt rushed as if she didn’t want to be there.
Always a great experience… love the office staff, Dr. Miller’s and her whole team🥰
I’ve had nothing but great service, from the front desk to the doctors and nurses. Very happy with my treatment.
Dr. Shepard is awesome ! Very caring and kind. All the staff was very nice. I highly recommend!

Dr Christina Tzilinis is amazing, so is her staff. Very friendly, helpful and professional. ☺️😊
Overall a very nice experience - checked in quickly and appointment completed on time. Dr and staff friendly and knowledgable.
Amazing experience with great welcoming staff, LOVE Dr Miller!! Highly recommend.
None of the receptionists or nursing staff ever sound like they want to be at work or really care to find the best possible solution to your
Su Parker is a great doctor. However the front desk girls are straight up nasty and rude.
Saw me as an emergency visit but treated me with respect and concern for my issue. Very professional and personable.
I was not happy when I found out that my MEDI-Care and United Health Care would not be accepted and I had to write a check, self pay
Great service and experience Steven Shephard excellent doctor love the way he explained everything and answers every question
Excellent and knowledgeable physician. Very patient focused and outstanding bedside manner.
Put on hold for 20 minutes just for them to hang up on me.
Honestly wouldn’t recommend you’re better off somewhere else I’d explain my situation but it’ll be a whole essay
Very difficult to reach the front desk as I’m always being put on hold
They supposedly close at 130p on Fridays, but when I called at 1245 pm no one answered, and the automated message stated they were already closed for the day.
This place is ridiculous. They will overcharge you for first time. Doctor do not even listen to you. Please do not come to this place ever
What an amazing team! The doctors are incredible :)
Dr Clements and the staff care of me and Dr clements care for her patiens
Does not take my insurance. Wanted me to pay cash.
Did an excellent job helping my wife.
Very rude staffDr clements was very short and didnt seem to care what I had questions about.

I have to say Im quite impressed with the thoroughness and how good this Dr T is. Since I moved to Florida, I have struggled to find a good doctor that cares.
My experience was good with the office, both theReception and ultrasound staff were always very attentive and communicative, very happy and grateful to Jessica Fuentes the midwife, she is a super prepared professional and dedicated to her patients, my birth experience was wonderful according to my plan thanks to her who did it. attended Very happy with theAttention from doctors especially with Doctor Heitman
