After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit weary but I had a wonderful experience. I had to go to Quest two days in a row for testing, and had zero issues both days. I have small veins (typically they have to use a pediatric needle) and they’re hard to find, but Dasia was awesome and found them on the first time both days. Check in was easy as well, I just scanned my ID and put my number in and that was that. VERY pleased with the overall experience. Would recommend this location to anyone.
On their main website Quest boasts about how inclusive they are and how their 5 Cs drive their operation (customer first/ care / collaboration / continuous improvement & curiosity!/)...HA!!! Talk is cheap and so many talk a big talk these days as corporate greed crescendos. Took me 45 minutes trying to get a human being to speak to about my unique situation. Tried every number on the phone tree to get someone and somewhere. Finally gave up and am having my orders re-written to CPL (got a live person on the first dial). Vote with your dollars folks. Im sure I wouldnt be the last customer to leave!!! :(
From the signing in process (no human) to the ineptness of the staff, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a medical setting. I did everything right-made an appointment, called ahead to make sure my orders were there (they said they were) they weren’t. I then called my doctor to send it for the third time, and they took no accountability in making a mistake. I would never recommend this place. Ever.
Your technician Dae (sp?) was extremely unpleasant. She was standing in the door when I arrived, having just canceled the appointment that I had just checked in for via an automated text message. She repeatedly denied having canceled me but how else would she have known my name as I entered? She stared at me angrily as if I was was some kind of racist, pathetic. She made no effort to apologize. Other staff members were embarrassed. My phlebotomist was terrific.
The machine that signs you into the office is a challenge, and the sign on the door not to knock for help is anything but welcoming. Several people in the lobby were unhappy because they thought they had appointments but were in the wrong place. I have a PHD. from MIT but still needed to beg the phlebotomist for help to be sure I was checked in when she stuck her head out to call another patient. It turns out I was not. Labcorp has much friendlier check in procedures.
Really bad experience. After making appointment online, a tedious experience itself. The Quest system sent me a text to check in. I used it when I arrived. The totally unpleasant, unprofessional DAE hcanceled my appointment and wiped out my records as I entered their waiting area. My phlebotomist was pleasant, courteous, painless and very professional.
I was out of state when my doctor called to say I needed blood work for an appointment I had in less than a week. I was able to get in to a nearby lab, was seen in less than five minutes of walking in, and the results sent to my doctor.
The person at the counter was very rude and lazy!First off the location has such short hours. Almost impossible to get a child in here if they go to school during normal school hours. Knowing this, we rushed over after my kids school was out.Once we got there, we were told by the lady at the counter they could not see my kid. I asked why not. We had an order sent in by our doctor. She said they dont accept walk-ins after 3. Then I asked are they that busy right now? The lady said NO. I then asked are you closing soon? She said NO? So I asked why cant you accept us? She wouldnt respond and ignored us.No body in the waiting room, no one in the parking lot. The place was empty. She just didnt want to do her job or deal with the hassle of working with us.Very disappointed with Quest and the type of personnel they have running their locations. I definitely do not recommend using them. Its like going to the DMV but for blood testing. Their employees dont want to work or be their. They disassociate themselves from their customers. Not the type of company I like to do business with or get warm feelings about.
There was a failure on my docs end to schedule with Quest (sent order to different lab).the lady that rang me in made a call.15 minutes later i was in. the person drawing blood was VERY adept.place was spotless!
Great staff, great location, idiotic management.Ive been happy at this location since it opened, especially with the staff, butWhat the Phlebotomy! They removed the chair that lies down. It does everything a normal chair does and more, and for people with Vasovagal syncope it makes the difference between a quick draw and tieing up a room while you wait to recover from passing out.(Quest: did you notice the 5-star you got from the lady who needs to lie down, I hope she updates when she discovers this)Horrible decision Quest, you should be firing someone for that.(and BTW other reviewer, the black staff member is actually quite nice.)
I expected a busy waiting area with debris of a revolving door. The place was clean and the wait time was within 10 minutes of my arrival.
Pak Medical uses Quest almost exclusively, but the electronic orders entered by Pak Medical providers are not flowing to the Quest electronic systems, requiring patients to make additional phone calls to physician office to print paper copies of lab orders. Quest and Pak need to get the electronic systems communicating.
First of all gps points to wrong direction. Second when I got to the correct place a sweet senior was waiting his turn in front of me. There was no one inside and the girls in the back were just laughing and playing around instead of calling him back. The man knocked at the door and the lady back there told him he did not had an appointment. He told them he checked in and he was told he missed his appointment! The man was there before me there was no way he missed his 9:15am appointment if he was there before that time! He was told they could see him as a walk in but it would take up to 2 hours and if they didnt have any appointments come in! She was just rude to him. I got there early and they made me wait until my appointment time even if there was no one else back. I rarely have pain when my blood is drawn. Well I did this time at this location. The lady was nice to me but not to the man he ended up leaving with out been seen. I will go to a different location next time.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.
Ashley & Vincent were an absolute dream! Ive been turned away from labs because no one could draw me, C-section rescheduled because they couldnt get an IV on me. But Ashley and Vincent were so sweet and got my blood so quickly. I was taken in right away and out within ten minutes. Absolutely will be coming here for every draw I need. Thank you!
Cool technolgy for checkin. Schedule right on tme. Technician very professional and efficient.
Pia made the experience a pleasure! Checked in early for my appointment and she took me back quickly. Stick was painless and blood drawn within minutes. Definitely recommend this place!
Appreciate the professionalism with the tech she was polite helpful and efficient from sign/checking in to the procedure and while I was in the chair she was informative. I will always return to this location on State Hwy 46, New Braunfels.
Ive been here several times and staff go above and beyond to accommodate me. Im 70 and ask to lay down. Sometimes I have to wait for that room, but never a long wait. I prefer to be a walk-in so depending of what time of day I go, I generally have to wait. Never very long.
Awesome people that work there and is very good at what they do. Fast and easy in and out when you have a appointment. Thanks for what you do!!
Black phlebotomist with glasses in the back very rude and uneducated. Then she makes me feel stupid for repeating the same incorrect information that she had given me. Get your facts right and then maybe talk to people the way you do.
I love the link to say Ive arrived and I dont have to fight the machine inside!
Ashley was wonderful! Great experience. A very clean environment. Checking in took minutes.
Bad customer service, long wait times even if you have an appointment. Go to another location if you can.
Nasty and deceptive employees. Go somewhere else if you have a choice.
If you are not tech savvy this place is not for you.
Always clean, fast, friendly and great customer service!
Clean, easy and Nice. Appointment recommended though!
Very efficient process
Really inconvenient to check in
