The whole egg freezing experience couldn’t have been smoother or more professional. Not only did Dr Knopman make us feel so comfortable, the entire staff (from the nurses to the front desk) made us feel so cared for. I would recommend CCRM to anyone. And we got great results!
I just had my first appointment at CCRM and finally feel like I have found some relief from the never ending cycle of confusion that is infertility. I have been to several doctors and have had no answers for 1.5 years. Dr Levine found an answer in less that 2 minutes during my sonogram. He took the time to listen to my concerns and I never felt rushed. I’d say we established some much needed trust that I haven’t felt with other doctors along my infertility journey. There were a few other fantastic people I had the pleasure of meeting at CCRM, Latoya- who helped me through my blood draw where I sometimes pass out (I definitely did not this time, she made it so easy!) and Micheal who has continued to be extremely helpful as I navigate scheduling the next steps . As someone who is very nervous around doctors, I feel safe and excited to continue my journey with Dr Levine and the whole CCRM team!
Dr. Bayer and the entire staff was so helpful and sweet. Any questions I had regarding my cycle were answered quickly and efficiently. I never had any issues. After going to different clinics , I’m so glad I came across this one! Would recommend them 100%
I had a great virtual consult with Dr. Brian Levine. He extremely friendly and responsive from the time I was introduced to him. During the consult he was very patient and thorough in his understanding, and encouraging too which helps a lot in one’s IVF journey.
Best experience I could’ve asked for. All staff was very supportive, communication was effective and quality of treatment overall was unmatched. For delicate procedures such as these, I couldn’t recommend CCRM enough.
I cannot speak more highly about my experience with Dr. Levine and his incredible staff. I felt completely taken care of, from the compassionate nurse staff to the patient coordinator to the amazing women at the front desk to the anesthesiology team to the surgery nurse team. This is an intense medical process, and going through it with people whom you can trust and are kind + smart makes it easier. Additionally, everything is coordinated through an app that makes communicating with the team incredibly clear and easy. There is also a great educational portal with videos that walk you through how to inject, etc., step by step. I cant imagine going anywhere else.
The billing here is horrible! The billing is deceptive and predatory and you will get billed for things “outside” the cycle cost that are not at all explained upfront. For instance, they will send some of your blood work out to labcorp, which then bills you separately. When you try (and yes I say try as it’s hard to get a hold of anyone) and contact CCRM, they’ll tell you you’re responsible, even though it’s part of the cycle cost you should have already paid $11k for undergoing. It’s just on a whim that CCRM may decide to send out your bloodwork to labcorp (or do it in house where apparently that is part of the cycle cost) and all of sudden you get charged $100s extra.Egg freezing cycle was okay, the run up was very disorganized and my patient care coordinator sort of just disappeared.I’ve done other cycles elsewhere that were way less expensive and so much better organized (Extend Fertility). I’ll be going back to them for my next one.
I understand that this is a private equity owned operation and you are trying to cut costs in every corner. But it is absolutely ridiculous how patients cannot get a hold to anyone at the office -- not even a front desk person. The only option is to leave a voice mail and wait for them to call you back whenever they want to.They were not like this even just two years ago. Who knows when or if they have already started lowering the quality of medical services to lower expenses, like the way they did on operations and customer service. Be cautious before you choose CCRM.
CCRM told me everything will be billed through my insurance. Then, out of the blue, I get a large bill directly from a lab for tests CCRM requested. When I call CCRM, they tell me thats between me and the lab and that I need to let them know about my insurance. CCRM sent the tests, why wouldnt they have given them my insurance information? And why wouldnt they have warned me in advance I would get a bill like this? Weird and just bad customer service, would recommend going somewhere more professional.
I cannot recommend Dr. Levine and the CCRM team highly enough. I came to CCRM after four difficult cycles at another clinic and immediately felt very comfortable and welcomed at the clinic. Dr. Levine analyzed the data from my past cycles and quickly developed an alternative approach. I tremendously appreciated Dr. Levine’s personal approach - we emailed and spoke regularly as my care progressed, he did much of my monitoring and he completed my retrievals / transfer... all with a touch of humor and empathy for the journey I was on to get pregnant. The staff and nursing team are lovely - everything is very well organized, the nurses are extremely responsive, and I felt like the team cared deeply about how I was feeling. While the experience was great, my results also speak for themselves - less than six months after my initial consultation, I’ve completed two retrievals and now ~10 weeks pregnant.
This review is from an egg donor from an agency outside of CCRM, and the treatment I received here. I hope this review helps couples and egg donors alike before they choose to move forward with CCRM.A woman named Sophie, and the PA, Chelsea Boltja, will be the main points of contact for potential egg donors. I was brought into CCRM through an agency as an egg donor. I have donated with various clinics and had a wonderful experience each time. From the beginning of my experience with CCRM I was treated less-than. Someone even said We do our best to remind the staff that egg donors are humans too ..... I wanted to walk out the door that moment, and honestly I should have. Unfortunately this was the clinic located closest to my recipient couple. After the donation I was left hyperstimulated, I had to work with my donation agency for help after hours. Its sad but clinic staff do have the power to turn what should be a beautiful donation experience for a woman into a nightmare. I would not recommend this clinic for egg donors or couples seeking egg donors.
Dr. Levine made the impossible possible for me and my husband. Two years ago we created embryos and 3 months ago we did a frozen embryo transfer. Dr. Levine is trustworthy, knowledgeable, responsive, and laser focused on outcomes. The nurses, staff, and facilities are best in class. The care is just unbelievable. We love CCRM so much, and would never ever recommend you go elsewhere. We cant wait to welcome our first baby next year, and owe it all to Dr. Levine, Jenny, Julie and the CCRM team.
Friends recommended BUT the process was quite a mess and overall a terrible experience. The first meeting I scheduled was with someone at the call center who apparently told me the wrong information (should’ve known something was off when she stopped responding to my emails). Initial meeting with Dr. Levine was fine, but it was a pain to get information from his coordinator Michael who would be away at 4:30p when the office closes at 6p, forget to send me information as he promised, and plain up ignored me despite constant messaging. Because of all this I had to change my travel plans after waiting in limbo. I ended up going with another provider at Cornell Weill and would suggest checking that out for everyone reading this review too.
Even though I had a bad experience, I do have to say that the doctor was pleasant and informative. We were excited after our first consult with him. The staff on the other hand post our first appointment was rude and discourteous. The patient coordinator we were assigned to was not knowledgeable or helpful. The receptionists are rude and disrespectful. I had one hang up on me when I called requesting my lab work. Mind you it was 13 days out since my labs had been done and the doctor hadn’t signed off on them? The only way I was able to get them to release them immediately was by threatening them to contact the Health Department. Save your time and money by not going to this office. The staff doesn’t care about the patients!
Stay away!!! If you want to be scammed then you may proceed. Let me put it this way, at 35 I had 6 mature eggs w 3 embryos at day 5 from CCRM with a HUGE push to do more (I had 20+ follicles). With another clinic at 38, I had 17 mature eggs retrieved with 13 embryos at day 5 (completely different outcome). Besides that, they tried to scam me to continue paying for frozen embryos even though they were no longer there. I even made a point to meet with my DR in CCRM to ask why this difference, and she just kept quiet. The only reason I went to CCRM in the first place is because I was dumb enough to find them on 1st page of Google and thought they were good - never occurred to me it was just good SEO and nothing more.Update: As I have been notified that this review was setting records by Google, I wanted to elaborate to perhaps help others understand better. I was so lost, and I wish I had someone tell me about their experience. So, here is where doctors differ: You have a pre-IVF preparation that bad doctors completely leave out. In CCRM I was not given instructions on how I should potentially prepare to have a better outcome. My other doctor did his research and ordered complete blood work (not just the basics AMH, FSH, etc), but instead also looked at my testosterone, immune system, etc. I was also on DHEA (for my slightly lower testosterone), Coq10 (600 mg per day for 3 months), vitamin D, prenatal, etc and healthy diet for 3 months and they told me they would not proceed until they have taken a look at my blood work again to ensure I was good to proceed with IVF (definitely does not happen with CCRM). During the stimulation part of IVF, to be fair, I did not notice a huge difference with the exception that with my other doctor he used estrogen priming with patches before starting stimulation (obviously not sure if everyone needs this). I had over 20 large sized follicles, and on the day of the retrieval, I had 17 mature eggs at 38 (you can see above that this number was 6 mature eggs in CCRM and that was 3 years BEFORE at the age of 35). I had 13 embryos at the other clinic from 1 retrieval in comparison to 3 with CCRM. This part also REALLY matters which is preparation for transfer - my current doctor looked into me having a possibly elevated immune system which many doctors dont pay attention to. They also looked into clotting (again other doctors may omit this). They transfered a healthy embryo (tested and normal), and I have a healthy baby girl now that is 6 months old. I am also going for the second one as I have 8 embryos left.My best advice is to do a LOT of research. Most people are naive and do as I did with CCRM - look up the first doctor that comes up on Google and trust them to do a good job. What a mistake... CCRM was awful, but it does not mean you would have necessarily a similar experience somewhere else. You just REALLY have to do your homework to understand as these procedures are incredibly expensive and also hard on our bodies. If you get a feeling that a clinic is running a business and looking to turn a quick buck bc your doctor sounds more like a salesperson and not a doctor, i.e. they are not asking you very detailed questions and ordering extensive blood work FIRST to really understand what the possible issues is or if there are any, I would probably see this as a huge red flag (btw, that was exactly what happened in CCRM - quick consult and pressure to do it right away). The time is definitely an issue, and you want to do this when you are younger, but you may get terrible results just because you rushed and did not do your homework.Wishing everyone good luck!
I had a wonderful experience with Dr Levine and his team! He was fantastic. He helped me have two successful egg retrieval’s and one transfer. The whole experience can be scary and difficult but he made sure he was available when I needed any information. He is extremely knowledgeable and very patient in answering all your questions. He has very good bed side manners and he made sure that he could help us achieve our goal of getting pregnant. The office and the staff are also very nice and I never had any issues till the end. I would highly recommend Dr. Levine and his practice in Nyc.
Dr. Levine is everything a doctor should be and more - confident, compassionate, understanding, smart, and incredibly capable. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about him and how much we trust him. We have a beautiful daughter because of him and we can’t put into words how grateful we are to him. We have met other fertility doctors and none come close to Dr. Levine - he treats you like a person, not just another patient. He cares about what he does and it shows. CCRM is, by far, on a different level than all of the other fertility clinics - the staff, nurses and doctors are all wonderful. I cannot recommend them and Dr. Levine enough.
Zero respect for my time. Zero accountability or follow through by Dr Knopeman. My initial call she was half hour late for (of course still charged in full). The next in office meeting she did not show up, but then offered for me to contact her. I did so and received zero response. I cancelled any future meetings in advance and offered an email explanation as to why I have little faith in their process. No one responded or even acknowledged my emails until I followed up a third time. I have since been charged for two additional appointments by CCRM even though I have not visited the clinic again or had any contact whatsoever. I felt immediately like a number.
Stay away. The service is terrible. They scheduled you for an appointment but forgot to register you downstairs and you needed to wait 30min downstairs before you could go up. You will NEVER be able to reach them via phone. And sometime they will completely forget you and you will need to remind them to let you in. Lastly, if you decide to go though a treatment, you will noice many miscommunications
I had an extremely smooth experience at CCRM. There was little to no wait time, the clinic feels new, the waiting area was always comfortable and had nice snacks and drinks and beautiful views. The front desk, nurses and doctors were all extremely kind, optimistic and professional. They always remember your name and were so nice and sensitive during this extremely difficult moment. Most importantly, I was 36 when I started treatment (after 2 years of no success trying on our own) and I got pregnant in less than a year. I highly recommend this clinic.
Dr. Levine is an incredibly intelligent, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable doctor who genuinely wants his patients to succeed in their fertility goals. He is a doctor who clearly reads a lot, and shares his knowledge with his patients and provides truly excellent care. I cant recommend him enough. CCRM has the best lab, the best success rates in NYC, they take chromosomal testing seriously, and they wont bother transferring a bad quality embryo. Along with their excellent care, this is what sets them apart.
Just started treatment with CCRM and I’m blown away by the level of service, reliability and dedication of the team. I was previously seeking fertility treatment at Weill Cornell which was the worst experience ever. Now that we switched I feel much more confident in our treatment program and providers. When you need to speak to someone they pickup the phone right away. They have an online portal which is super helpful for tracking all communication in one place. The billing team has been super helpful dealing with insurance. So happy to have been referred to CCRM and fell we are getting the best possible care. If you’re not happy with your current fertility provider I highly recommend trying CCRM.
OUTSTANDING is just one of many words to describe Dr. Levine and the team at CCRM. They truly care about their patients and are invested in them as people as well as their fertility journey. CCRM was the third stop for my husband and I trying to start our family, and we truly saved the best for last; both on a medical and personal level. They took the time to explain things and educate us on an action plan. When we faced obstacles, they walked us through them and never gave up. It was a bittersweet day when we graduated from the CCRM program because we didnt want to leave the wonderful people that had become a second family and safe place for us, but we are super excited to welcome our Baby Girl thanks to Dr. Levine and his team.
We feel like it was a true blessing to have started working with CCRM. After several failed IVF attempts at another clinic we traveled across the country based on a recommendation to work with CCRM NYC. It was the best decision we could have made.CCRM gave us hope that we had all but lost. CCRM is incredibly efficient and very helpful. More than that, it is clear they care about their patients which is so important during such a challenging time. Dr. Levine’s approach is based on the individual needs of each patient not the standard cookie cutter protocol not to mention the lab quality is the absolute best. Even though we were not living locally, we experienced the excellent communication from the entire staff and amazing support from Dr. Levine himself. We were able to achieve success in his care.We can never truly thank Dr. Levine and CCRM for everything they have done for our family.
Highly Recommend CCRM and Dr. Brian Levine! All the doctors were fantastic.CCRM NY facility and staff were topnotch. I was at RMA before and I transferred to CCRM after not getting the results I wanted and it was the best decision I ever made. I cant recommend CCRM enough and Dr. Brian Levine. The front desk, nurses, and staff were so nice attentive, and easy to work with.Truly CCRM for the win!
Dr. Levine is the best of the best! We came to him fairly defeated after two failed egg retrievals at another clinic. We had been told our odds of success were low, but Dr. Levine brought hope back into our journey, and less than a year after finding him we were pregnant after our first transfer, and have another PGT-tested embryo on ice for the future. We welcomed our daughter a few weeks ago and it’s all thanks to Dr. Levine’s personalized care, wealth of knowledge & positive energy. We’re forever grateful for him!
Dr. Levine and the entire CCRM staff went above and beyond. I always felt a personal connection to the office as they made me feel more like a friend than a patient. We are so grateful for the direct, honest and positive approach that Dr. Levine provided and are currently awaiting the February arrival of our little girl thanks to him and CCRM!
My wife and I have worked with a number of fertility doctors over the years and unfortunately we did not have a great experience with CCRM. CCRM had so many clients the doctor could barely remember our names and circumstances. The doctor barely took time to answer questions, forgot about a zoom meeting and was ultimately just always in a rush not to mention sometimes downright rude. At CCRM it feels like you are just a number at a company trying to make as much profit as possible. So much so that weve now been fighting for months to get reimbursed for procedures they didnt even execute. Honestly, Id stay away from this place. Look for a doctor that doesnt have 100 patients in their waiting room. Look for someone who cares to answer your questions and who cares about your circumstances and cares that you are reimbursed for costs that were never needed. CCRM should reassess its values as a company. - Following up a few weeks since this initial review my wife is still trying to get reimbursed for procedures that were never executed (we ended up not have a viable egg to use to be able to finish the final procedure). For whatever reason they cannot produce an invoice that can clearly show a breakdown of the costs. Not only that, CCRM is now trying to convince us that we agreed to other procedures that were performed during egg retrieval that end up accounting for the costs of the procedures we are looking to have reimbursed. We have email proof that these procedures and their costs were never discussed with us and a clear discussion of what procedures and costs were actually covered in our costs. The fact that they are willing to waste so much time to try and make up reasons to not reimburse us is particularly troubling. At this point they have surely wasted more time trying to fight us than the cost of the reimbursement is even worth???? Why? Whats the point?
After multiple failed IVF’s and an IUI at two different clinics, CCRM was our last hope and best foot forward. A friend highly recommended Dr Talebian / CCRM and we’re so glad she did. From the get-go, we noticed a difference. Dr Talebian spent an hour and half with us going through our questions, when our previous doctors would only spend a few minutes and provide vague, unhelpful answers. Dr Talebian thoroughly reviewed our previous results, walked us through protocol options, and ways to prep for best results. We did several retrievals w Dr Talebian so we were regularly in touch. No question was too trivial or silly - she was always empathetic, compassionate, and supportive. No email or phone call went unanswered for more than 24-48 hours. We had some hiccups later in the pregnancy after we graduated and she still made herself available. She’s smart as a whip (graduated top of her class at Columbia), did her residency at RMA, and often speaks at Fertility events - she is passionate about and knows fertility. On top of that, she’s empathetic, kind and an inspiring athlete and mother herself. I can’t say enough good things about her. The same goes for the CCRM staff - from the receptionists, to the embryologists, nurses, and ladies who drew my blood. We did several cycles there and got to know everyone, and vice versa. They took the time to get to know you/your name and not make you feel bad/like a number when so much of this process can make you feel rotten. I felt like they were just as enthusiastic as us when we finally got to a transfer, and rooting for us for positive results. My only criticism is the accounting / billing office. We had difficulty finding a contact / working out issues with insurance which were eventually resolved in the end, but it took multiple calls, emails and even escalations to Dr Talebian and an office manager when we couldn’t get a response unfortunately (which we hoped to avoid). There seemed high turnover here and inconsistent caliber of customer service.IVF was the hardest thing that my husband and I had to do - and it usually takes a few tries. If you are not sure where to go, or feel like you have reached the end of your journey, give CCRM a try. They’re worth every penny and their weight in gold. Many thanks Dr Talebian and all of CCRM NY for giving us hope.
CCRM New York, particularly Dr. Knopman, helped restore our hope after a very difficult and draining couple of years in which we had many losses and failed transfers with our previous clinic. Dr. Knopman’s knowledge, open mindedness, calm demeanor, patience, compassion and friendly attitude made us instantly at ease with her and her recommendations! Our first transfer at CCRM was a success and I recommend Dr. Knopman and CCRM NY highly and without reservations. Everyone there is kind and approachable. We can’t thank them enough!
Without the help of Dr. Levine and CCRM New York, I’m not sure if it would have ever been possible to have children . I spent 3 years at previous practices with no luck. I had my first appt with Dr. Levine in April and by August I was pregnant. I cannot stress enough how great this office is and how professional and smooth everything went from beginning to end. I’m now pregnant with baby #2, again by frozen embryo transfer. I’ve have 2 transfers with the office and 2 successful pregnancies. I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. I’m so grateful that I was able to find this office. I would recommend them to anyone.
All I can say is thank you. I had a good experience with CCRM my husband and I welcomed our baby girl last December. The process took about a year to get pregnant...and the staff and Dr. Levine was with us the whole way. Through the good the bad and the ugly. IVF is not cake walk however the staff and doctors there helped me through it. I would and to recommend them to anyone that is having infertility issues to try them.
I cant say enough about Dr. Knopman and the CCRM team. I had a very dire case and Dr. Knopman and CCRM were somehow able to give me an amazing daughter and the potential to have other children in the future. I spent almost a year and a half with them during my IUI and IVF process and couldnt have asked for better support or care during a very daunting and stressful process. Dr. Knopman was always thorough, extremely responsive and supportive during my fertility journey. She always clearly laid out my options, was very up front with me and was my biggest cheerleader. When she delivered the news to me that I was pregnant, it was as if she was celebrating her own pregnancy. I also saw the other doctors in the practice and everyone was a pleasure to work with. The nurses and office staff are extremely supportive and responsive- they really take you in and treat you like family. I havent gone to other fertility clinics but I cant imagine that many others can match the level of attention, knowledge and responsiveness of CCRM. I certainly have yet to see this level of care in other doctors offices.
I did two rounds of egg freezing at CCRM NY and had an amazing experience. I mostly saw Dr. Knopman and Dr. Talebian, but all of the doctors I interacted with were lovely. I have many friends who had frustrating experiences at other clinics and I have to say I am so glad I went to CCRM. The nurses and staff seem to really care about patients and did everything possible to make sure I had a great experience. Dr. Knopman answered all my questions and explained things in a way that made this process less intimidating than I expected. I was nervous to freeze my eggs, but I actually kind of enjoyed it and now that Im engaged, my partner is really grateful I had the foresight to do this too.
Dr. Knopman was my rock through my infertility journey. Her patience in answering all of my questions, her calming demeanor, and confidence, were my north star. CCRM is absolutely fantastic and I couldnt be happier with my experience there.
Dr. Choi and the entire CCRM team are incredibly knowledgeable and kind. CCRM was my 3rd clinic after 4 unsuccessful IVF cycles. Dr. Choi was able to review my history and diagnose/treat a key medical issue that had been previously missed. I am currently in my second trimester after my first transfer with CCRM. I cant thank Dr. Choi, the nurses, and the rest of the clinic enough for their compassion and care through this process!
I have nothing but incredibly positive things to say about CCRM and Dr. Talebian. I did a TON of research before we picked a clinic, and knew from Day 1 that I had made the right decision. The entire practice - the front desk, the billing department, the coordinators, the doctors, and the nurses - are all knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. I was always impressed at how accommodating everyone was with schedules, special requests, and anything else that came up along the way - I think it is rare that you find a full practice that knows how hard whatever has led you to being there has been, but that is what it is like at CCRM. Dr. Talebian in particular is absolutely wonderful. From the get-go I felt like she was on our side, was upfront with us, and always helped us understand the options and what was the best path forward for us, whether or not it was traditional. I constantly felt reassured by her positivity and knowing that she would not tell me or guide me towards something if she did not absolutely believe in it. I cannot recommend CCRM enough, and look forward to them being a part of our fertility journey in the future!!
I cannot give CCRM a high enough rating. I started my IVF process at age 39 and have a history of fibroids. I had four retrievals and was seen by all 4 doctors. Dr. Knopman was my primary doctor and outstanding, however, all four doctors are fantastic. Dr. Knopman heard our plan and was very focused on guiding our treatment to best achieve it. She is direct, personable, and candid. The entire staff is knowledgeable, patient, and positive. They are extremely organized and attentive to patients. They run the clinic like clockwork. At times during IVF, you will need to have doctors appointments almost daily. CCRM opens early and schedules these appointments so there is no waiting. I also found they were accessible every time I had a question or concern during my treatment, no matter the time or day. We were lucky enough to have a successful experience. I have heard many stories of families having very difficult experiences with IVF. CCRM made this an incredible experience for us.
I had THE BEST experience at CCRM NY. Coming in single, early 30s, low amh and clueless about the egg freezing process was pretty scary - not to mention the out of pocket expense. From start to finish I put my trust in the CCRM NY team and they were there for me every step of the way. The nurses go above and beyond, I never felt out of the loop or like a number. Dr Levine is my primary but Dr Knopman did my retrieval both were amazing. They ended up retrieving 4 eggs and all 4 were viable to freeze. I am excited for the day that I get to go back to CCRM NY to use my eggs. I know that process will be just as positive.
Dr. Knopman and the entire staff at CCRM could not have been more kind, supportive or helpful during my IVF journey. Anyone going through this process knows its peaks and valleys, and CCRM was by my side every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr. Knopman and her team to anyone who has to explore this path. Her amazing bedside manner and overall upbeat attitude helped my husband and me soldier through our journey. Ultimately, we had twins and we definitely would not be here without Dr. Knopman and her team.
I didnt actually go through with the egg-freezing process, but my review is around their back office staff/billing department.Initially had a good experience - they seemed willing to call me and talk me through the billing codes, etc. Long story short, I was on a very tight timeline because of my insurance (which ultimately didnt work out) and needed some responses right away so I could run it by my insurer. Thats where things started to devolve - the person I had been dealing with was on vacation, so I asked the receptionist to please NOT bother her and send my question to someone else. I guess they still sent it to her anyway, because she accidentally sent me a rude, sarcastic email (about me, which she meant to send her to coworker). She apologized profusely. Really unprofessional, but fine, we all have our bad days at work.Whats frustrating though, is that after that, youd think that youd try to be on top of things. I had emailed my insurer after I paid for my initial consult out of pocket - they said that CCRM should be refunding me for most of it, as it should be covered. I asked the billing person (after not having received a refund), and she said that that was wrong, even though the info came straight from my insurer. Said shed look into it. That was May 11. It is now July 1. I have sent numerous follow-up emails, initially shed respond saying she was still looking into it - my last two emails havent even received a response. On June 7th she said she was waiting for someone to get off the phone so she can ask her about it.No response since then.Whats also strange is that the receptionists refuse to give you your physicians number - the last couple times I asked (I said an email was also fine, to try to get to the bottom of things directly), they said that the doctor would call me, but refused to give me any contact info. I cant imagine how isolating that would feel if I had issues with my treatment and I had no way of contacting my doctor.
I am the patient of Dr Sheeva Talebian. I would say she is the best fertility doctor! My process is not as expected. Actually it is more difficult that I originally thought, but we finally made it! Dr T. gave me a lot of support during the process, she did spend time with me and my husband to analyze IVF result and where we could improve to make the next cycle better. She understands my medical issue and gives good support on my surrogacy journey as well.I have a few other friends who are also going through IVF, but their doctors explain minimum to them. At end of the day, they seem still know little about IVF after one cycle, have to take whatever result is. And they sometimes come to ask me lolI really appreciate the help of Dr Talebian, the CCRM nurse team, and front desk team. Everyone is so responsive, warm and friendly. Recommend to everyone! From Xiaoyin
It is impossible to convey my gratitude for Dr. Knopman and the CCRM staff. After suffering a loss and going through a year of failed IVF transfers at another fertility clinic, my husband and I were losing hope. We found CCRM and Dr. Knopman and almost instantly hope was returned to us. Dr. Knopman and her ENTIRE staff (the front desk, the girls that take your blood, the nurses, the coordinators, finance team, the embryologists and other doctors) always took our questions and concerns seriously and made us feel at ease. Everyone at CCRM is just so very kind and truly helpful. Dr. Knopman always took the time to explain the process, the plan, next steps, the why and everything in between. Our journey was not an easy one and I cannot begin to explain the impact Dr. Knopman has had on our lives. She is an inspiration and a blessing to so many women who have to go through the difficult IVF process. She has helped my husband and I in a way that we could not have helped ourselves and for that we are forever grateful to her and her staff.
I have been extremely pleased with CCRM. Dr. Knopman and all the staff, from the nurses to the front desk to the behind the scenes embryology team have not only provided me with top notch medical care, but they have done so with compassion. Dr. Knopman treated us thoughtfully, explaining things clearly and tweaking things as needed to make sure we had the best results. She is warm, caring and so positive. I always felt like everyone was rooting for us and doing everything they could for us to be successful. The nurses (and I mean all of them, as there are different kinds) were always there with hugs and words of support when I needed it. I am 9 weeks pregnant and moving on to be followed by an obstetrician and I am going to miss them all so much!
I sought out CCRM for egg retrieval and I am so thankful to Dr. Talebian and the full CCRM staff. They made the process seamless and easy to understand. Every interaction was positive and I consistently felt like I was in great hands. As a single female in her early 30s, having gone through this has given me immense peace of mind. So grateful!
I would strongly recommend Dr Knopman and CCRM to anyone going through IVF. Dr Knopman took the time to get to know me as a patient, and truly cared about the outcome achieved. She explained thoroughly every part of the process, made sure I fully understood my options at each point, and proposed solutions to consider, as problems arose. The entire staff I interacted with at CCRM were wonderful – incredibly helpful and supportive, kind, and again wanted to see the process succeed for me. IVF is a difficult process but having a doctor and clinic that you really trust, and believe wants the best outcome for you as an individual, made a huge difference in getting through that process.
Very accessible via communication through the portal and the staff is superb. Dr. Talebian is wonderful and was always in touch. I interacted with all of the other doctors as well, and enjoyed each of them. Would not hesitate to recommend CCRM to my friends and family.
Dr. Knopman and CCRM are the absolute best. So professional, cutting edge, and beautiful humans. Was at another fertility clinic with 4 unsuccessful tries and now I have my son on the first try thanks to CCRM. The quality of their lab and standards really makes all the difference!
Beware -- they will charge you $350-715 just for the initial consultation, without informing you beforehand. Its been free everywhere else Ive gone. The introductory email states that 90% of patients are covered for this visit by insurance -- BUT they actually only accept two (unusual) insurance providers. NO WAY will I trust them to communicate clearly for my treatment after being so misleading with the initial costs. Stay away!!Edit: I appreciate the response so Im increasing from 1 to 3 stars and clarifying a bit more. After 6 phone calls I was eventually able to speak to someone reasonable in their finance department, who read the email I was sent and agreed that it was misleading (the exact phrasing was approximately 90% of our patients have coverage through their insurance carrier -- NOT 90% of IN-NETWORK patients --, and also Approximately two days prior to your New Patient Consultation, you will receive an email from the Patient Financial Services Team based off of the insurance information provided. which I did not receive). She kindly waived the charge. Everyone else I spoke to was dismissive however, no one returned my calls when they said they would, and the whole interaction left a bad impression nonetheless, so I will still be staying away
I am 14 weeks pregnant with my own eggs at 43, I will be 44 when the baby comes and it’s all thanks to Dr Sheeva Talebian. After two years at Cornell, with many retrievals and transfers that yielded no results and where I was put on generic protocols and was pretty much scolded for trying with my own eggs, I went to CCRM NY as a last ditch effort encouraged by a nurse I know there. The experience and the results are night and day.The doctors at CCRM NY are predominantly women and I have felt so much empathy and encouragement through this journey. Dr Talebian answers emails and calls quickly, and she has been truly invested in my case, tailoring my medical protocols to yield the best results and always listening to me. At CCRM NY I ended up with 9 genetically sound blastocysts after having been told at other clinics that my eggs would never survive to the blast stage. I got pregnant on my 3rd try at CCRM.My story has a happy ending after 6 years, countless IUIs, 10 plus retrievals and 6 transfers. I wish I had not wasted time and money at other clinics.Infertility is hard and I encourage anyone who is struggling to go to CCRM NY. Dr Talebian and the rest of the team are excellent. I will miss them and especially Dr Talebian.
We had a fabulous experience at CCRM with Dr. Choi. Dr. Choi is open, honest and direct with her patients. We started the fertility process but ended up getting pregnant naturally. We had a complication in the early weeks and an OBGYN wouldnt see us yet, but Dr. Choi was there for us. It meant so much and it helped with the panic in those early days. The practice is also impeccably run, you get answers quickly and you can count on them getting you answers when you need it.
I would like to do was anyone of yall ladies had yall tubes tied and if so how much did it cost for you to get it untied and what insurance helped pay half or so
Dr Choi is an incredible doctor! I started seeing her in the fall after several miscarriages and one very traumatic one that left me feeling really hopeless. She is caring, knowledgeable and direct. I did not know anything about IVF or the process and she explained things thoroughly and thoughtfully. I am now 13 weeks pregnant thanks to dr Choi!
My husband and I had a horrendous and traumatic experience at CCRM New York, and there is so much I wish I had known that I now do. It is a deceptive place because their office is slick and there are friendly staff that make you feel good in the moment, but they are not practicing ethical medicine. Every fertility doctor that has looked at our CCRM New York medical records since our experience has been baffled and angered by how poorly guided we were on our path to having a child. It is important to know that CCRM is partly owned by a private equity firm, TA Associates, that has franchised the CCRM name into multiple cities. They have installed a CEO, Jon Pardew, to run it for them like a corporation, and decisions are being made by a group of men who haven’t had to take the Hippocratic oath, and therefore aren’t concerned with a minimum standard of care. In fact, their incentive is to have you repeat cycles because it is more profitable. What has given CCRM its reputation is a single lab in Lone Tree, Colorado. No other CCRM labs have been able to duplicate that lab, according to Dr. Schoolcraft in Colorado, who tells his patients that the secret sauce is in this lab (my friend was his patient and weve shared our experiences in detail).CCRM New York told us on the phone, in the aftermath of our disastrous experience, that they are the most expensive facility in the country. They also told us that “thawing eggs” is very different than “freezing eggs.” This was one of their many bizarre excuses for why their lab lost the majority of our eggs. Before our doctor called us to break the news, she called their corporate headquarters to see what they could do for us. Their CEO offered us a ridiculous minuscule coupon to repeat another cycle with them. As if we were supposed to blindly put our trust in them again to the tune of another $30,000.When members of the CCRM staff heard what had happened they encouraged us to demand to speak to leadership and advocate for ourselves. They told us what happened was the result of human error or machine failure. When we did advocate for ourselves, the CEO called us and said he would get us answers. But instead he became obsessed with having us give him the names of those in the CCRM ecosystem that were advocating for us, even though they had nothing to do with our treatment and what had transpired. This, to us, was the most sickening. That after everything we had been through, he was pressuring us to throw his employees under the bus. Unsurprisingly, when we refused to give him names he disappeared and never gave us an explanation for what happened. We lost what was perhaps the most important year of our fertility and $30,000 and are now in a position where we can’t afford to do this again.I would urge you to do your research and avoid this fertility clinic. They have stolen so much from us and their arrogance stems from the fact that there is very little federal oversight. And it is a $4 billion a year business.Youll see on CCRMs Twitter account that their marketing department is paying 20-something bloggers to write about how they are thinking about freezing their eggs at CCRM, and they are having them copy and paste data from the CCRM website. This is dangerous, and doing women a disservice. Especially in light of how opaque CCRM is in their medical practices, and how unlikely it is that freezing your eggs will result in a live birth.I believe there should be federal legislation preventing private equity firms from investing in fertility clinics like CCRM. CCRM is focused on answering to their investors, not their patients. And they arent providing the minimum standard of care. They ushered us through a boiler plate process without any strategy or customization, and didn’t give us the basic information required to give informed consent. And on top of that they made a mistake and are unwilling to do what is correct. They did, however, make sure we spent hours sitting with their financial department to ensure they got paid.
Went to CCRM due to the strong online reviews, however, my personal experience is so different from all the positive reviews that we decided to recheck the positive reviews to make sure they are not bought. Hence we are here again. Saw the previous review from Jeany and my experience echoed hers. The place feels very disorganized. Emails were sent like a robot. Doesnt feel like the clinical staff read your record. We were told to expect certain things and the staff either just completely dropped the ball or doesnt know what they are doing. I called back just to find out the exact opposite were to happen. The list goes on. We gave them some slack for the first error, and then the second miss, and we just learned the 3rd one. We are seriously considering going elsewhere. None of this is cheap from a money, emotional and time perspective. As they are new with no real data to go on, how much slack can you actually give a practice?
I had very good experience with CCRM NY team. Thanks to Dr. Choi I am a mom of 4 months old baby boy. CCRM was recommended by family friend to us & I am glad that I used their service .
Came in for a baseline ultrasound and blood.Check-in process was great: took temps, got a mask, and filled out a Covid questionnaire. Friendly front desk and pretty waiting room.Phlebotomists and blood draw was nice, so was the ultrasound experience (Dr. and PA).Was in and out in 26 minutes
Dr. Knopman and the whole CCRM staff are amazing. Walking into this experience was so overwhelming and scary, but everyone at the clinic was so helpful and comforting. Highly recommend going here!
CCRM is not a good facility at all. Dr. Choi told me straight out that at my age of 43 I would not be able to get pregnant. How unprofessional and rude. I should of reported her. Stay away from CCRM.
My wife and I could not have felt less cared for and we were overcharged all along the way. Ever since they got private equity investors they seem to be only i. It for profit. Go elsewhere.
We have not been at this clinic very long, but we are already impressed with the personalized care. Please believe all of the good reviews! Having been at a clinic prior to this where we felt like we were just a number, I’m so pleased with our experience so far.
Best in the biz! So helpful and patient. Answered all my questions.
Generally unimpressed. Scheduling errors, lost our insurance, different staff members say different things about non-mandated, in-house rules. The entire process has felt very superficial. We will wrap up the procedure we have contracted them for but we will not be finishing our journey with them.
$750 for initial consultation cant use towards the procedure!the person is very rude, telling me in New York market this is the standard!!did you think this is the only clinic I spoke to?
Wonderful doctors, staff, nurses and really great overall experience and care. Dr. Choi is incredible- highly recommend.
Billing department is unprofessional and rude.
