Do yourself a favor and find another company. Yeah the high $$ pulls you in but they treat you like they are breeding dogs. I applied with Conceiveabilities after I had my last baby & I was still nursing so that was the only hold up. I eventually stopped nursing so I could move forward (such a big regret on my end) anyways this company is terrible. There’s no relationship, you get thrown around to every single department you are always talking to someone new. It’s terrible. I got a match who I wasn’t sure about from the start, I believe the workers name was Christine or Christina who told me just go with the match. I should have never listened. Months and months of total nonsense for nothing. I had the match for 7 months, the fertility clinic I had to work with was Atlantic Reproductive Medicine and they were awfulllll. I had to do all the work. They did absolutely nothing the entire time. It was so sad and frustrating. Conceiveabilities is just as bad as them. My match ended up canceling because she couldn’t control my life… and then weeks and weeks goes by Conceiveabilities said they had to make a decision if they could rematch me, I kept emailing. Calling. Trying to find out. Weeks later someone who I’ve never spoken to calls me and “fires” me. I can’t remember her name but she told me “you ask too many questions” Ask too many questions? How is that even possible, being a first time surrogate. Anyway I found a new company Csed and they are so awesome and I am currently 7 weeks pregnant with my first surro babe
I was excited about the idea of becoming a surrogate and helping another family experience the joy of parenthood. But before I could even learn more about it, I hit a snag. Courtney, from the organization, got in touch after I reached out, asking if I had kids of my own. Even though I havent had kids, I did carry a baby for my sister as a surrogate, which was a really important experience for me.Then came the shock: Courtney said I couldnt be a surrogate because I didnt have my own biological child. I was confused because Id never heard of such a rule before. She mentioned it was part of the IVF clinic guidelines, but I couldnt find anything about it in my research. It just didnt make sense to me, especially since Id already been an egg donor and successfully carried a baby as a surrogate. This rule not only went against what the organizations website said but also seemed to go against the whole idea of helping families. Youd think not having kids of my own would mean I have more time and energy to dedicate to the intended parents and take care of myself during pregnancy.Im left feeling unsure about the fairness and honesty of the process. Its really disappointing to face such a roadblock when all I wanted to do was help others start their families.
Becoming a surrogate is a huge decision and I felt Concievabilities has helped me every step of the way. With every coordinator I have worked with, they have each been caring and have answered every question, never making my husband or me feel any questions were dumb. Each approval along the way and the excitement surrounding becoming a surrogate, the team shared the feelings. The Intended Parents I was matched with have been a dream come true. If I ever decide to be a surrogate again after this journey, it will definitely be with ConceiveAbilities.
Im currently at the phase where my IPs have funded escrow and am awaiting the call to schedule my first trip to the clinic. I applied around end of July and and it is now the end of October. Conceivabilities has been great through every step and Im excited to continue on this Journey with them and my IPs. Support has been wonderful and answered all my many questions. I do wish they had some kind of tracker that you can log into and see what phase youre at, the person to contact, and what they are waiting for (e.g. Phase medical documentation - check that they received X medical record, so you know what got sent and what hasnt) could have reduced some of my emails. Id also like a little more visibility on what my surrogate profile looked like in its final state. These are small things that they navigate well with their great staff but could provide value. Their compensation package seems very straightforward, they even covered costs associated with getting some of my medical records. Im very excited to help another family grow as I know its one the greatest joys in life.
Surrogacy is an amazing way to help make someones dreams come true and give others the ultimate gift in in starting a family of their own and becoming parents. Choosing ConceiveAbilities as a surrogate agency was the BEST decision I could have ever made. Ive been a surrogate with ConceiveAbilities since 2016. ConceiveAbilities has treated me like a part of a family. They were available whenever I had questions or concerns and they provided me with the right resources (like our monthly surrogate support groups and one Facebook group) that allowed me to feel more comfortable to continue in my surrogate journey. My Match1 team was one of a kind. They work so diligently in the background to insure that us Surrogates and our IPs have the BEST surrogacy journey. My experience with ConceiveAbilities have been nothing short of amazing!
I was a surrogate with ConceiveAbilities and had an excellent experience. If I was able to do another journey I would not hesitate to return to them. But for now, I will be an amazing SurroSister to the current Surrogates in their program. Its a bond we will forever have in their private Facebook group for their surrogates. Having that sisterhood of surrogates in all levels of their journey is so beneficial. There will be another surrogate always available to help answer questions or lend a supportive hand. Their matching team is absolutely on point!!
I’ve worked with conceiveabilities as a surrogate since 2020. I am currently on my second surrogacy journey with them. The entire team is amazing! Every single person I have worked with here is nothing but helpful and supportive. So much so that myself and intended parents have both decided to continue working with them again. I wouldn’t want to work with any other agency and I’m so thankful I get to work with them again!
Their agents need to be better trained in empathy. Ashley Wilson was extremely rude and judgemental in our interactions and could really use a lesson in having compassion and speaking to people like human beings with emotions and feelings.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE VERY RUDE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY GET MAKE PROMISES THAT THEY DONT PLAN ON FOLLOWING UP ON. THEY ARE TONS OF OTHER WOMAN WHOS HAVING YHE SAME EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE VERY RUDE AND HONESTLY I FEEL LIKE THE BBB SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS PLACE!!
No one answers the phone nor do they return calls it’s been over 2 months with no reply and selecting all the call options. Beware
