I never thought the day would come that I was see the words “Pregnant” on a pregnancy test. Thanks to Kindbody and their kind, caring, patient and wonderful staff I’m 15 weeks pregnant with our sweet baby girl. After being gaslit and bounced around from doc to doc I finally got recommended Kindbody by a friend and they took me so seriously & found the problem right away. If you are privileged enough to be covered by your insurance please go here for your fertility treatments. The girls at Flatiron & Bryant Park are so wonderful!I’m seeing a lot of 1 star reviews about their billing process. They have revamped how they do their billing now and it’s much smoother. Please don’t let those bad reviews keep you from going to them! We never had any issues with that!
KindessThis clinic and it’s medical personal live by this concept. After being treated like cattle at RMA, I was lucky enough to come across Kind Body. Our journey of 2 years resulted on the birth of our healthy and beautiful now 17 month-old miracle baby.To say that I was met with professionalism, compassion, care and realistic encouragement from every single person, starting with Dr. Aimee Seungdamrong.I had one very unpleasant encounter with a new (at the time) doctor and reported it to KindBody. Despite this minor incident I am forever thankful for the support I received and our loving daughter. Thank you so much, you truly are the best team!
Kindbody never disappoints. The environment is fantastic, like a warm hug. I wanted to fall asleep right there. My doctor and nurse were amazing! The front desk was friendly and welcoming. I got all my questions answered and some reassurance besides! I highly recommend Kindbody for overall women’s health.
I have been a patient at kindbody for 9 months now. Their entire staff is so warm and helpful. I actually look forward to my appointments because the office has such a calming and friendly vibe. The level of care and attention from the doctor, nurses, and ultrasound technicians is excellent.
I have been to multiple Kindbody locations and have seen multiple providers and the experience has been consistently stellar all around! The staff is welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable! I was in and out in no time! My doctor was kind and explained everything to me in a way that is digestible for the common person! She made me feel comfortable the entire way and answered all my questions in both a professional and friendly manner. I love it at Kindbody and look forward to my well check every year! It’s also incredibly clean!!!
I came across KindBody’s free AMH day advertisement online and when I showed up to the clinic, I was informed that the webpage was outdated. Even so, the Flatiron location accommodated me for the “free” AMH testing advertised online.During my visit, I confirmed multiple times that there would be no fees for the testing. However, a week later, I was charged $100 for the phone call to receive my results. I was surprised by this, as I work at a fertility clinic where such calls are included in the testing process. After receiving this bill I tried numerous times to contact their billing department, but to no avail.I never would have consented to having my blood drawn if I had been made aware of the fee. It is extremely disheartening to encounter undisclosed charges when seeking to understand ones fertility, adding unnecessary stress to an already anxiety inducing process.
Edit: as expected- they commented that they would reach out to me and never did.i cannot recommend strongly enough that if you are thinking of freezing your eggs - do it ANYWHERE ELSE. my experience has been awful. i did 2 rounds of egg freezing - i chose them because they were within walking distance and covered by insurance. my first experience was not great, i was last minute delayed in starting although i had all my appointments and medicine arrive, because they didn’t realize until last minute that my insurance required prior authorization approval. from my understanding, that is very common and should have been done sooner. while they worked through that i had to go on birth control to delay my period so i could still do the freezing that cycle as i couldn’t delay until next cycle. that cycle i was disappointed with the amount of eggs retrieved but the doctor - in the meeting after the retrieval - said she felt i’d get more in the next round as they realized my dosage needs and had learnings from this round. i personally felt that going on birth control delayed my progress in the egg retrieving cycle and kindbody was delayed in upping my medicine doses and rushed the retrieval date to fit their schedule.a year later, i looked into other providers but kindbody reached out and i felt because of the learnings from the first cycle, it couldn’t possibly go as wrong. i also felt i didn’t want to pay for egg storage at 2 places so i decided to try with kindbody again. this was a huge mistake.the issues started from the beginning. i had an initial appointment to gather information and understand what medications i had leftover from the first round could still work for the next. without confirming i was going to move forward, a prescription order was sent to cvs specialty without my requesting it. i had mentioned in the meeting i would be paying for medicine out of pocket for this round and did not want to use cvs as its more expensive when paying out of pocket. i now had to deal with canceling this order.again, the retrieval process was disappointing. i never saw a Dr. until the retrieval and any questions or concerns i had during the cycle were handled in messaging with the nursing team . in the appointment the day before my retrieval, there were 13 eggs that looked viable to be retrieved and i felt more positive about this result although it was still less than id hoped. however, at the retrieval only 5 eggs were retrieved - not how many were viable which i understand is hard to tell in advance - but only 5 of the 13 were taken. i still do not understand why this happened, the appointment to review the results after the procedure was done by a different Dr. than who did the procedure and could not answer these questions.so now i’ve done 2 cycles and been very disappointed with my results for both. 6 months later, im STILL dealing with billing issues. as its my 2nd year of egg storage, im due to be charged as kindbody covers the first year. i’ve received different invoice amounts - changing from around $400 to $1200 for the same charge. not only this, but they submitted a prior authorization to my insurance that says insurance covers this in march! this has been open for 6+ months as i call, message, escalate with the team and receive no response. however, i continue to receive bills at varying random amounts.i imagine there aren’t many bad reviews because people in similar situations to me are afraid to post a bad review because they’re now holding my eggs in their storage, but im honestly at a loss for how terrible this experience overall has been. i regret choosing kindbody in the first place and being swayed by their convenient location. if you are looking at doing egg freezing please learn from my experience and look at other options!i’m including photos of my more recent attempt to close this billing issue to show how slow the response times are and how difficult it is to get answers. this is not including the frequent times i’ve called and had the issue “escalated” to never receive a call back.
Mixed reviews. Quick to take your money, but does not work with you to go through insurance process even if you are covered. Every time I need to reach someone from the billing/finance team, I kid you not I am either on hold for 2 hours and I eventually give up or they tell me theyll call me back and never follow up, this happened more than 5 times and I am still trying to reach them to this day. Some of the nurses/docors are really nice but not all, and you deal with a different person every time you interact with them, whether thats medical or administrative personnel. Also you never have a direct line to the doctor, its always a random nurse taking your questions when you call them. Im not calling any names out, but I literally caught a nurse trash talking me on the phone not knowing I could hear her, because I had one too many questions about the process. Dont let the pretty office space designs fool you, It has every sign of being owned by some private equity whos goal is to streamline operations and minimize cost. Absolutely no personal touch this entire experience. I can even fully blame the staff because the system that is set up overwhelms them too. never using their services again.
I froze my eggs with Kindbody in January, and while I had a good experience with the appointments and staff, the billing process has been HORRIBLE. They charged me in full up front before my procedure (which is fine) and told me they would submit monitoring appointment claims to my insurance company after my procedure and refund me the difference of what my insurance covered.I found out a month ago they never submitted my claims to insurance, and I had to ask them repeatedly to submit them. They finally submitted them in March, the claims were approved almost immediately, and now they still havent refunded me the difference a month later, and no one will respond to my messages or calls. Its been almost 4 months since my procedure! So, all of that to say, only go to Kindbody if you want an absolute nightmare of a billing process and you want them to keep your money.
Very informative. I felt supported and put at ease by nurses and PA. My ultra sound was painless and nurse listened to my concerns before starting. I feel as if I have a good understanding of next steps and better outlook on my pregnancy journey. When I had my blood taken I got light headed and needed to stop. Nurses were quick to act and make me feel safe, and provide juice and cold pack. They were super kind and supportive.
Beautiful space with friendly and very attentive staff. I usually get a bit nervous to get my annual women’s exam, but I have to say it was a breeze this year. My doctor was super friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. The practice is beautifully decorated and you don’t feel like you are going for a doctors checkup. Would definitely recommend.
I could not recommend this place enough. They are so thoughtful, kind and really helped calm nerves and fears for me personally as someone who fears needles and the process of getting results. The team was so great. The rooms look amazing, clean and beautiful too. Thank you Kindbody team.
Absolutely, under no circumstances, DO NOT GO HERE. Kindbody takes a topic that is sensitive to women and completely exploits it for monetary gain with disregard to transparency and kindness. I cannot warn you enough to stay away especially after having much more pleasant, and transparent care from other fertility clinics in NYC (e.g.Kofinas, Maiden Lane). The first time I went to kindbody was in April of 2023. At this time, they assured me at the initial visit I only had to pay a copay (which I paid). I referred a friend to go here shortly after and she had the opposite experience where she paid the copay and then was billed $700 for multiple individual services (office visit, ultrasound, etc). I told her I was shocked and so sorry as I only paid the copay as I was told and unsure why they would bill her this much. Understandably, she was very upset. Fast forward to 13 months later (May 2024) when kindbody sent me a $400 bill for my April 2023 visit trying to do the same thing they did to my friend. Who sends someone a bill 13 months after an appointment? After emailing and calling the billing department numerous times, I have yet to get a tangible response as I’m constantly told someone will get back to me in 5 days, and big surprise, no one does.Interesting, I moved my care away from kindbody after they told me all services now require two visits bc they need a visit to get an order from the provider and then a visit to complete the order reporting this is “required by insurance.” As an ordering provider myself in healthcare, I can assure you, this is not required by insurance. Orders can be ordered and carried out on the same day. This policy is a blatant attempt for a money grab to charge and bill all guests for two visits instead of one. When I emailed kindbody to express my concern over their new policy, of course I was not responded to. Save yourself a headache and the worry of getting bills 13 months after your office visit and go somewhere else that cares about their clients and responds to their clients.
Pros: The offices are nice, its very easy to make an appointment at your convenience. Online interface is easy to manage.Cons: I went to get a consult due to my older age 35+ (to check fertility, genetics, etc.) It was hard to get an appointment at my regular ob/gyn for such appointments, because they were always booked so I was happy that Kindbody was so easy.At a follow up Kindbody appointment for my additional bloodwork and scan, I was actually already pregnant at the time... (Taken pregnancy tests, confirmation from my reg ob/gyn)However, my tech at my Kindbody appointment told me that I wasnt pregnant and she could see the sack of my period blood and pointed to it on the screen. I told the doctor at Kindbody about the experience and they said they could neither confirm or deny my pregnancy for another 1-2 weeks and that I should come back.I ended up going back to my regular ob/gyn doctor, but it just seemed like very weird experience ??!?(2 stars for great/easy apointment booking, but also weird/wrong medical advice)
Despite loving the medical care I received here, I will not be continuing my relationship with Kindbody. Ive gone here for two years and during that time had at least four appointments canceled or rescheduled without my knowledge and consent. I once showed up not knowing my appointment had been moved.I understand doctors schedules can change, but that should be an exception, not the rule.I had to call it quits with Kindbody after I received less than three hours notice that my Monday appointment had been canceled. (Appointment times fill up quickly, meaning you will likely not be seen for weeks.)After two calls complaining, the receptionist did try to accommodate me at another location, but that didnt work for my schedule, plus I decided I shouldnt have to fight so hard to be seen by a medical provider who I am paying to care for my reproductive health. If you can actually be seen at the time you booked without your appointments being canceled last minute, then you will receive great care here. But it is a gamble if youll even be seen at all. Maybe not a big deal for routine care, but when youre trying to solve a medical problem, certainly an unwelcome hurdle.
Most staffs are super helpful and friendly.Billing is COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE. No matter what you do. No matter how you try to reach them.If you have a choice, go somewhere else.Doesnt look like our experience is unique.
I can only hope this review discourages other people from going to Kindbody. This clinic cares only about pushing you into treatments and forcing you to go to multiple appointments without a purpose. The interactions I received from their team were unacceptable, unprofessional, and uninformed. A dirty ultrasound wand, employees who didnt know which patient I was, spending 2 hours at a 45 minute appointment, being presented a powerpoint that can only be described as pedantic and patronizing, being told to buck up, you pay my bills, and that looks funky during an introductory appointment made it very clear that Kindbody cares about pushing patients through a process to make as much money as possible, not about providing quality care. Kindbody is more affordable that regular fertility clinics, but you get what you pay for. I have since started going to NYUs Fertility Center, and I cannot recommend them enough. Dont waste your time at Kindbody.
I got a deal on the Fertility Assessment and so only had to pay $150 instead of $300. During the assessment, they give you options for doing bloodwork so they can assess you thoroughly. I chose the full panel for around $94. Because I dont have insurance, I later received bills from the laboratory they use, which charges you for seven different assays, and the total came to $568.30.(And, actually, they accidentally forgot to draw my blood for the Chemiluminescent Assay and asked me to come back 8 days later. When I returned, they drew my blood for that, but then also charged me again for 2 of the assays they had already done. When the second bill arrived at my house and showed theyd done 2 of the assays again for a second time, not only was I peeved that they hadnt asked my permission to do that, but, of course, it also increased my bill by additional $165. The manager and I had a back and forth on the messaging system and via voicemail during which I felt she was being condescending, saying something along the lines of, Sorry that you didnt understand that they were going to run 2 of the tests again. They claimed they redid the 2 tests because my levels for one of the tests from my initial visit had come out on a more extreme part of the range, but on that second visit they never asked me if they could test for those levels again or remotely insinuated thats what they would do. Then, suddenly, I get this fattened bill... Eventually, after some back and forth, the manager agreed that I wouldnt have to pay for those 2 tests again as she should have done.)Additionally, because my one hormone test was off, when I returned the second time, the nurse practitioner from my first visit basically said to me, Hi, did you see your hormone level? We need to get you on medication immediately. Id done research, which said that particular hormone could be off for a variety of reasons and that it didnt necessarily mean you need to be put on meds. When I told her my thoughts and tried to engage her in the possible variety of reasons for the test result, she just said, No, no. We need to get you on medication. I dont want you walking around with a weird thyroid and having a miscarriage. But thats just it: you need to figure out IF I really do have a weird thyroid. And what are you talking about having a miscarriage for when I wasnt trying to get pregnant just yet.Little did they know, that I was simultaneously seeking two other medical opinions, and those other doctors were alarmed by the nurse practitioners and my conversation. The other doctors told me how they would have gone about the situation differently, ie, they would have waited a few weeks and done the tests again, gone over my diet and to see how Im getting my iodine intake and what those levels are, etc.All in all, stay away from this place. They need to get their act together.
My wife and I went to Kindbody for family planning. We were advised to get genetic testing done and were told it would be covered under insurance. Six months later I get a bill from Natera for $350 with a letter stating there was no need for genetic testing. This is our first time doing this and we were under the impression this was standard testing. We trusted them and we shouldn’t have.
I have to say, I wish all women’s wellness centers/gynecology offices were like this! You walk into a beautiful facility with a very calming ambiance. I think anyone would feel better after walking in here. The staff attended to me right away. I also was able to conveniently schedule an appointment online. Nurse Katherine (I believe her name was) was very attentive and listened and had a discussion with me. She didn’t dismiss me off with some pills but rather discussed a plan of care that wasn’t simply spot treating. Honestly I think I’ve found my permanent gynecologist. The care I received here is unmatched in my experience!* A little update: I love how you can keep in communication with your provider via the patient portal! There have been so many times where youre in dire need of an immediate response and we all know how hard it can be at some places to get a quick appointment for a simple question to be answered.
I appreciate Kindbodys mission to make fertility and gynecology more accessible, and I had a positive experience with Dr. Messenger during my fertility assessment. The modern and cozy space added to the overall pleasant experience. However, I do feel that there are areas in which Kindbody can improve their business practices, particularly around transparency. I was disappointed to learn after my appointment that the $100 off code I had received at one of their marketing events could not be applied to my appointment, and this was not disclosed upfront. The carrier screening test during the appointment has an out-of-pocket cost of $249 for you and $100 for your partner after discounts from the third party laboratory. Furthermore, it was difficult to obtain an estimate of the final bill, as my assigned financial contact was vague and it took me several attempts to get a rough estimate. The fertility assessment was advertised as $300, but the total cost for the female alone ended up being $800 due to additional required testing for the Fallopian tubes and uterus.I believe that Kindbody has the potential to be a great resource for those seeking fertility and gynecological services, but more transparency and clear communication about costs would make the experience much better for customers.
I dont know whats going on with Kindbody or how they retain clients/patients, but Im starting to understand the multitude of bad reviews. They dont follow up regarding insurance verification and knowing what benefits youre allowed to have, so your appointment isnt too costly. (Things which they promise to do.) They record calls without consent, which is a HIPAA violation, and no one answers the phone or follows up. I made my appointment four weeks ago, which is in three days, and I still havent heard from anyone verifying the above. So, in turn, I canceled it.
The physicians at Kindbody are exceptional. They are extremely knowledgeable with a nurturing bedside manner. The facility is calming and the front desk staff always makes you feel welcome. I don’t know that anyone enjoys an annual exam but they do their best to make it comfortable. The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is purely the billing department. Similar to previous reviews they haven’t figured this out yet. It’s such a shame because it can completely ruin a patient experience. I think the billing department is backlogged. As many other patients have noted you randomly receive medical bills 6-10 months late. When they recognize the accounting error they do reach out to confirm but expect payment immediately. In my case the amount was small but after reading other reviews I don’t believe that is often the case. A surprise bill always feels dishonest and unethical.Kindbody is a fast growing start up and they quickly need to figure out the delayed billing issues. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.
Kindbody is great once you’re in the door, but recently it does feel like they don’t truly care about their patients and it’s more of a business transaction. Without giving too many personal details publicly, they have now cancelled my appointment 3 times due to Covid precaution. I understand cases are increasing, but does that mean other aspects of our health can just be cancelled? I have real concerns and the more time that goes by, the more chance of a negative outcome. As far as I know the clinic is not closed, they just decided to cancel my appointment even after I voiced my concerns. I’ve been with them now for about 2 years, and sadly, will not be going back and will no longer be referring my friends here.
Fertility is such a challenging process to go through. I was hoping for a different experience here and wish I had considered the one star comments written about this clinic. The updated decor isnt enough for the emotional rollercoaster that comes with being a patient here. The initial visit is fine, if you just need an assessment. My experience, as I decided to move forward with next steps has been frustrating. I have been in contact with several different people, who at times provided conflicting information. If like me, this is your first experience at a fertility clinic, getting conflicting information can be overwhelming and frustrating. Who is right? Who has the accurate information? You never talk to the same coordinator so when you call to clarify information it is challenging. I read a few similar one star reviews expressing the same concerns so it seems like this is an area this clinic needs to work on.There is so much runaround here for the patient because Kindbody is simply not organized. This experience has been terrible.
I love this place. Amazing cozy office and very friendly staff. 🫶
Reply: you are not striving to provide top-notch service. Isnt it odd, that every request i ever raise takes months, but you answer here in minutes? clearly the priority is not the patientStay away, not trustworthy! Absolutely terrible experience. They are nice at first, but once you paid they just push you from nurse to nurse, no one keeps track of things, so i constantly felt unsure if i am taking the right amount of meds etc. They also try to charge you additional services you didnt ask for and then you cant reach billing..The last straw that made me write this review is access to my eggs. I decided to go for another round with a different provider ( game changer, actually saw the doctor, military precision in all communication, clear system who is in charge and who will answer questions when needed). Now i am trying to get my eggs to store them in one place and havent been able to for 2 months. My nail salon is more professional. The person in the portal never follows up and now just keeps sand bagging. I wouldnt be surprised if they lost the eggs. Stay away! This is too important to take risks.
This review is in regards to a concerning data management issue. We called kind body just for general information and after we hung up, we received a text message asking about the call. We didn’t give any authorization to receive that text message and during our call, we provided very personal data. It was disturbing to say the least that kind body took it upon themselves to capture personal information and then send a text message to receive feedback. You need to follow data privacy restrictions and ask clients for permission before issuing such surveys.
I went to KindBody for a Fertility assessment in January after moving to NYC from The Bay Area in October. It was covered by insurance and I had no issues. I didnt have an OB/GYN since Id just moved so I decided to schedule my annual with them. BIG MISTAKE.I went in for my annual exam on 3/18 and had an exam + STD screening as part of the annual. I paid my co-pay and went on about my life. In July, I was contacted by Quest for a $500 bill for the annual visit. After speaking with my insurance company, they let me know that the practitioner coded the STD screening in a way that made it appear as if it was not part of the annual. I contacted KindBody and spoke to the Director of Billing, Kelly Q. who reassured me that they would look into this and take care of the bill since it was an error on their part. Since, Id missed her final callback, she left me a voicemail saying this.I followed up with her in August after receiving another bill from Quest and she seemed shocked to know that the account was still open but she assured me again that they would take care of it.Imagine my surprise when I was notified this morning that this bill has been sent to collections, and Im unable to get in contact with anyone. I left a message in the portal to be contacted but I find this practice to be predatory and shady. Theres no way a mistake on your end should result in an erroneous medical bill of mine going to collections, especially after assuring me twice that you were on it.I will never visit this practice again and will be sure to spread the word to others to be safe and make sure to review all their bills if they do choose to proceed. An annual preventative visit turned into a true nightmare. With no resolution in sight at this point.I gave it two stars because the NP I saw for my assessment was nice.
My initial visits were just fine. The space is indeed beautiful and warm. My 1-star reviews were the bills my husband I received almost 18-24 months later! We felt blindsided by the amount they were expecting us to pay on visits that happened literally years ago. Not prompt, upfront, or transparent.EDIT: We spoke to the billing team about waiving fees because of the significant time-delay, which was not possible. Im not sure what else Leslie at billing can do for me.
The facility was beautiful and so clean. I only had to wait a few minutes and the front desk staff, nurses, tech, and doctor were incredibly friendly and thorough. I never felt rushed and the doctor made sure that I asked as many questions as needed. I have endometriosis and it took 15 years to diagnose, so Ive developed a lot of anxiety around going to the doctors or having different procedures done. My experience at KindBody was so positive and refreshing, I’m really grateful for it.
I was originally a huge fan of Kindbody. I heard the founding physician speak when Kindbody first started and instantly came to Kindbody for my annual gyno check-up and fertility assessment. In fact, I referred a handful of my friends to Kindbody and they had excellent experiences in other locations. However, the experience I went through with Kindbody for my egg freezing process was traumatic and not something I wish for anyone to go through.Long story short, the clinic forgot to give me any instructions or order my prescriptions for my upcoming cycle. In fact, I e-mailed, left voicemails, and left messages through the portal a week before my impending cycle. Furthermore, throughout the whole fertility process, I had four different doctors and a number of nurses all giving conflicting advice. After my egg retrieval, they also did not discuss with me about my abnormal results until after chasing them for over a week. On top of that, Kindbody would charge me in addition to the ~10k cycle for my chats with doctors (erroneously, but it did not help that I needed to watch my bills closely). What completely left me undone was when a doctor told me that I needed to calm down after my egg retrieval (I was really concerned about the low number of eggs retrieved) and that I did not need to worry about egg freezing until I was 35. In disbelief, I asked to speak with my original fertility doctor and my original fertility doctor said that after looking at my fertility assessments and egg freezing results, she said that my fertility seems to be declining faster than anticipated based on my history so I should consider another round soon. At this point, I dont know what to believe.I am very saddened and hurt about the whole process because individually, most of the doctors and nurses were very kind. However, the lack of organization and single point of contact led to disorganization and terrible quality of care. When I asked to speak to someone about this, they also kept making false promises about calling me back to answer my concerns. At this point, theres no point to keep chasing for answers. Its more important to move forward. I believe other offices might be better, but the flatiron office has severely fell short of its promise when it first started. I want to make sure anybody who chooses to go with Kindbody comes here with their eyes wide open and consult with multiple doctors before making an impactful decision on who you go with on your fertility journey.
Please, go to a real fertility specialist who will walk through, in detail, everything you need to know about test results, next steps, etc. After I received my test results, I was given no guidance, a poor explanation of what it meant/what is normal. The staff did not care to answer my partners questions and were rather annoyed by it.Don’t fall trap to the pretty interior - this place is not worth your time, emotional turmoil, or $$.Edit: this place lures in women who have not begun the process of trying to have children. They tell you before you ever start trying to have children to check the status of your fertility with an ultrasound and blood test. They know that fertility in women who have yet to start trying cannot be tested. It does not work like that. Myself, and many of my friends, fell into this trap set by kindbody, and were told we had low AMH and ovarian reserve and spent the next several weeks in a panic. However, low AMH and low ovarian reserve are not predictors of fertility in women who have never tried to have children. They are bringing women in swarms under the guise of testing their fertility. They are causing mass panic. It’s unethical. Please go see a proper fertility specialist.
This place is great to get an overview of your fertility to have all the info, knowledge and awareness of where you are at time-line wise.My husband and I had a pact of no kids before 10 years of marriage, well fast-forward almost 14 years and we wanted to be educated on our situation so we can plan for potential next steps. All the staff is great and the process has been seamless so far. We were not sold fear, ivf or egg freezing at all. Just pure information. The doctor is really great and patient.Wish they had kind man at this location because the kindbody in bryant park is quite terrible...
Kind Body doctors are knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic; my sister was relieved to find such a unicorn -- a great GYN that accepts Medicaid!Unfortunately, Kind Body has recently chosen the unethical path of patient abandonment.Without warning, they collectively chose to abandon their Medicaid patients -- a move that I consider highly unethical. My sister was their patient for one year until Kind Body chose to abandon her without notice. They couldnt even be bothered to notify her of this change before she arrived for her most recent appointment. The ethical path would have been to allow their patients time to find replacement providers, and to ensure these providers receive medical records.Better still, they could have chosen to grandfather in their current Medicaid patients, opting to decline new Medicaid patients.Doctors of Kind Body, you can still make this right.
Horrible communication, spent 5 months trying to freeze my eggs here. No word from the doctor on why things were happening. Poor educating behind why they were making choices besides my consistent asking. My nurse Ashley was amazing, but everyone was such a disappointment. Thousands of dollars for nothing.UPDATE: owner of clinic tried to get me to take down my review. Promised to refund me some of my payment. When I refused, she refused to refund me. Absolutely atrocious. Nobody facing infertility should have to be treated the way I was with them, and certainly shouldn’t be asked to take down an honest review and lured by false pretenses.
Ive been visiting KindBody since last year, and can wholeheartedly say that the experience is unmatched. The aesthetic of the office is warm and inviting, and the front office staff is efficient, helpful, and kind. The doctors are intelligent and compassionate, and any feedback or test results are provided quickly and professionally. But above all of this, what truly sets them apart is the patient-first attitude in their staff. Last week, I made a last minute appointment to address a concern that had come up over the weekend. However, when I arrived at the office, we realized Id accidentally made the appointment for the following month. Even though KindBody was busy and I technically didnt have an appointment that morning, the staff recognized that I was anxious and wanted to be seen, and made sure to get me in right away. Thank you so much to Shae at the front desk, who approached the situation with patience, kindness, and a reassuring attitude; and to Dr. Messenger, who took time out of her already busy schedule to squeeze me in for an appointment.I have a lot of choices when it comes to OBGYN. But its because of the staff at KindBody that I will continue to choose them time and time again.
What an awful place. Please do not go here for fertility treatment. Their name is a joke. We experienced no kindness. They are unorganized, inexperienced, rushed and care only about money. We were here for an IVF cycle. Clinic negligence led to them canceling my cycle mid-stims because they forgot to get approval from their anesthesiologist for my egg retrieval. My estrogen levels were more than 9,000 after ~8 days of stimulation. Dr. Browne canceled my cycle and gave me no instruction at all for how to manage my care. Just dropped me with no information, no support and no recognition after days of high-dose meds. I had dozens of cysts and was in considerable discomfort. When I finally got to a reputable doctor, they were appalled at the lack of care. Kindbody was negligent. I have a chronic illness and their negligence put me at risk. Kindbodys poor practice put me in danger. It took months for my cycle to regulate and my AMH tanked in the meantime. Their negligence has jeopardized my fertility journey. Please do not waste your time and your health here. Avoid avoid avoid. They dont have the experience to actually care for you.
I am a current patient at Kindbody (both Flatiron and Bryant Park offices) and got successfully pregnant with my first IVF attempt. The best thing about Kindbody are the staffs (nurses/care coordinators, sonographers, phlebologist, billing) and their prompt communications. Everyone is friendly and also knows you, so I feel like I’m receiving a personalized care and I don’t feel like I’m just another patient. Their bright offices help during visits indeed. It doesn’t have that ‘hospital’ vibe. No wait times.***Also, communications happen promptly*** Nurses/care coordinators are the best!! I always get my answers back in few hours through messages in portals. If I call front desk about any questions, they immediately connect me to any nurses available and have my questions answered. Also they have WhatsApp during off hours where nurses are on call and they answered my questions promptly early in the morning or late at nights. For any urgent questions to doctors, Dr.Aimee was very prompt in getting back to me too. Dr.Brown performed my FET and she is amazing too. Also billing staffs were very prompt and great at explaining costs and insurance breakdowns in details. Communications about drugs and doses were always displayed accurately in portal so I was never confused on little things like that. That peace of mind is helpful in this complicated (and can be stressful) IVF process.I of course had some hiccups too and was not happy on how few things were done, but in the end, I’m successfully pregnant and that’s what matters, so I’m overall satisfied with Kindbody. I dont think there is any clinics in NYC where you can be satisfied 100%. I have more embryos frozen and stored with Kindbody and I am planning to continue their services if I decide to have a second child in the future. I highly recommend Kindbody!
The people are so friendly, welcoming, helpful and genuine. They really take their time answering all questions and genuinely care about your reproductive journey and how they can help, inform you and put you at ease with whatever your unique experience is. They follow up with you and follow through with helping you get what you need. Ive honestly never been to a Dr.s office like it. Kindbody is an environment that has been so needed in this field. Willada L. at Flatiron is amazing. She really listens and goes above and beyond with her patients!
It was a great visit. Everyone one was welcoming. We were notified well in advance that we should delay coming by 30 minutes. The doctor was very good about explaining every step of the process and how our chances would be determined. All the steps and the time commitment were thoroughly explained. The building is beautifully laid out and feels much less clinical than your normal doctors office. Due to being behind schedule they provided coffee and pastries for the wait, which really didnt affect us since we knew our appointment would be 30 minutes later than scheduled and we planned accordingly. Thank you so much for a great first step in our process!
As a doctor myself, I’m always looking for the best patient care. Not only are they the most responsive team I’ve ever had, but they will answer questions at any time. You have a what’s app group that’s for you to be able to ask urgent questions and get immediate answers. The offices are so cutting edge—modern equipment and efficient flow—and still feel like you’re entering a meditation space, not a sterile hospital. Perfect for keeping calm during medical procedures!
In the past, I’ve had TERRIBLE experiences with gynecologists (I know I’m not the only one), which has lead my to not getting my annual exams. I’m so glad I found Kindbody-not only is the decor calming and beautifully done, but everyone who works there is NICE (kind?!). They LISTEN. They’re professional, efficient, and I 100% won’t miss an annual exam again as long as they’re around. THANK YOU! YOU ARE GREAT AND YOU SHOULD FEEL GREAT
Ive been in my fair share of doctors offices - from dermatologists, gynecologists, family doctors, nature paths, you name it. This is the first time I ever felt truly comfortable, heard, respected, and cared for. The doctor took ample time to explain to me whats going on with my body as well as her plan of treatment for my visit. And she was able to do it without all the confusing medical jargon. I highly recommend any women go to Kindbody for their woman needs! This place is the real deal.
I have PCOS and am currently 13 weeks pregnant after my 3rd cycle with kindbody Flatiron. I was a patient for 7 months from start to graduation. Most of the staff is very kind and knowledgeable, big thank you to Amanda, Ashley, Anna, Michele, Dr. Sassan, Dr. Aimee and Dr. Brown who were the highlights of my treatment. My only 2 complaints are: their tech Evelyn who is miserable and rude to her patients. She doesn’t understand how sensitive this work is and made me incredibly stressed after my visits, she even goes as far to really criticize other staff members. I am still convinced my 2nd cycle failed because of her. Second is their billing department, I have reached out 4 months ago regarding any outstanding invoices as I don’t like surprise charges and they have yet to send me anything. Other than that, I highly recommend!
This was the best experience ever. I was very nervous walking into the clinic because honestly fertility is such a personal thing to discuss but the the moment you walk into this beautiful (...very beautiful) office, you feel immediate comfort. It looks and feels a stunning spa. Next you meet the team who will fill out your chart, does your ultrasound and your blood work. Each professional, knowledgeable and lovely. Finally the Dr... When it came to my discussions with Dr. Seungdamrong, nothing was off the table. I felt so comfortable and asked questions that other people would likely make me feel incompetent. So have a very calm vibe to her which I so appreciate. Clearly I am no expert in egg counts, antral follicle count, AMH and AFC but I do recognize great bedside manner and client services. This is a place where women leave empowered. If you are just curious about where you stand in terms of motherhood for now or later... go in for an assessment. You have only something to gain!
PLEASE DO NOT USE KINDBODY FOR ANY FERTILITY RELATED SERVICES. It is a huge regret I have and would warn others against it at all costs for such an important thing. This “clinic” should not call themselves a healthcare company. Not one time during the entire relationship and process of egg retrieval did I ever speak to a doctor. Not once. I don’t even know who the doctor was making decisions on my behalf, which feels really disgusting. I was passed around every step of the way and visit between different people ranging from “patient coordinators” to nurses who could not answer pretty basic questions about the meds I was taking. Nurses handle the day to day and some oz like figure makes decisions that are sent to you through their message portal. Five minutes before I was supposed to take my trigger shots I received a text message late at night that notified me my retrieval appointment had been cancelled. Once I got through to someone they were confused as to why I was frustrated? Several days post retrieval my stomach is fully distended and incredibly uncomfortable yet they assure me it’s fine - my option is to come in and pay thousands of dollars to figure out what’s wrong. I would rather go to the ER at this point. This is very clearly a startup that has to hit certain quotas and your success and care seem to be of very low priority to them. I feel like I wasted $15,000 and have very little to show for it.
This was a wonderful experience. I wasn’t rushed through check-in or my annual well woman exam. The doctors asked about my history and if I had any concerns...and actually listened. She shared recommendations and next steps for infertility treatments that I asked about. The doctor also circled back while I was giving blood and when checking out to see if I had thought of additional questions. That in itself is very rare in NYC and very much appreciated. She also told me to send her a direct message on the app/website if I thought of anything else. Happy to have found my new doctors office!
I am writing this review to thank Kindbody for everything they have done for me, and to highlight how incredible my experience was!I first saw Dr. Nicole Browne in September of 2020, and I was moved by her kindness, expertise, and reassuring nature. My husband and I were having trouble conceiving, and she assured me right away that she would help us. After some testing for both of us, Dr. Browne was able to identify the issue. One round of IVF/ICSI and a frozen embryo transfer later, and I am 14 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby! The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Grace in the billing department was able to get insurance authorization in a matter of days for us to start IVF right away (we did not pay more than $300 total in copays), and all of the providers and staff members were so compassionate and supportive throughout the whole cycle. The nurses never made me feel that any question of mine was insignificant or too small to ask, and we had support 24/7 if needed.A special THANK YOU to Dr. Browne, all of the nurses, nurse manager Anna, and ultrasound technicians Amanda and Beth for your overwhelming kindness and support. Please do not have any doubts about visiting Kindbody, or about proceeding with fertility treatment if needed with this clinic! They are the absolute BEST, and I am so grateful!
KindBody was the best fertility experience I received after shopping around for individualized care. From entering the door I knew my experience would be different. Emory was very informative and took the time to explain my options to me. Christina the tech was the first person I met who took my vitals and she was very personable. Everyone was great and everything stood out and was uniform. Upon leaving Kind Body I felt confident in knowing that I did not need to search any more and that they would help me achieve success in becoming a mother and having a successful pregnancy! Thanks to everyone at KindBody I can not wait to continue my journey!!!
I very rarely leave negative comments but given how much I much I was looking forward to my visit at Kindbody, I feel others should be aware of the below. The doctor I visited with could not have been more rude, condescending, short, uninformed, or unaware of my dismay by the way she spoke to me. Given the already vulnerable environment when one visits a women’s center, she was beyond insensitive and dismissive.I just moved to the city, started a new job, and my insurance kicked in three days ago so I’m in the middle of scheduling multiple appointments with doctors. She immediately condemned me for not scheduling an appointment with others before I could even open my mouth to explain my situation. I told her I just received bloodwork before moving and was uninterested and, again, dismissive with my results. Again, given this environment, you should not feel like you’re being judged by your answers which I 100% felt during her consultation. She recommended a procedure that I requested but obviously wanted more information on and went over the mere basics and then wanted to schedule to have it done? It was rushed, informal, and the entire situation was unprofessional.I left upset, crying and tried to tell myself that I was being insensitive and could have possibly overreacted. When I got back to work, I went online to read reviews from others who expressed my same frustration and sentiments.I’m extremely disappointed and will not be going back to this center. I’ll be sure to explain to others my situation so they can avoid feeling the way I felt today in the future.
Instantly relaxed on entering the facility. The staff are friendly, kind and professional and take their time to explain everything along the way. A real great service and feels a lot more personalized to you. The nurses / doctors took their time to sit down and really explain everything, which I’ve not experienced at any other facility before.
This is what healthcare should be. It was easy to book and comforting to know pricing up front. Despite being stuck on a train and arriving late, the office was super nice and accommodating. I only had to wait a short while (which was 100% on me as I was late) and also is a beautiful location so didnt mind enjoying the ambiance there. Was a super relaxing space and clean interiors. The staff were lovely and put me at ease.Coincidentally I had seen Dr. Flores at another practice so was happy to see her again. She is fantastic and was aslo able to get some additional blood work done while there. Already recommended this place to several friends!
The nurses were incredible, kind and comforting. The actual doctor visit was the same. For a visit that most women dread, this was actually pretty enjoyable. The space is comforting and warm. They even play music! It was the best doctors visit Ive ever had.
This was the best doctor’s appointment I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not exaggerating. I got my fertility tested here, and the doctor’s bedside manner was both incredibly warm and informative. It has been such a struggle to find a good gynecologist in New York City. If every woman I knew used Kindbody the world would be a better place.
I got my fertility check at the mobile clinic and to get information! I felt rushed as soon as I came through the door! The nurse who took my blood was the most kind and very good at answering my questions! The doctor wouldn’t talk to me but I had a few women ask me to download bumble to get a coupon for whatever it was (can’t remember) even though I told them I was married. I want to feel comfortable during this scary process! Great concept and very affordable! Please learn on how to better connect with the women that really wanna take this seriously and don’t treat everyone the same! ❤️ All in all I still wanna give this place a chance to build my new family 💕
Completely short to my expectations.I decided to change my obgyn at NYU and have my annual check up at Kindbody instead thinking that they should have better specialists on Women reproductive Health (I was wrong) and because they offered a promotion of a free fertility test.First, I was advised that the doctor was late, prob 15 min while I was already on my gown and it was actually close to half an hour, Dr. Lipkin came into the room with no apology whatsoever for the delay.Later, was the most rushed and cold annual check up that I have ever had, no interest whatsoever on my responses. To my questions more than once I received an I have no idea...thats it, no explanation, she seemed bothered and rushed saying things like, I dont know, I cant know, or dont ask me about insurance because I dont do the blood work...I even told her about a particular condition a surgeon found on me and she said oh I didnt feel anything...which Im not surprised since everything was done in such a rush.I do understand some things need further analysis to be answered, but some kindness and explanations wouldnt hurt.I had some blood work and same thing, everyone seemed bothered when asked questions. This company have either the most unhappy employees or just hire the worst. Its disappointing because this was a simple obgyn annual exam, and if there was a possibility for me to consider doing a fertility treatment there (which is more lucrative to the company than an annual check-up) after all this they can just forget about it.
I am beyond confused with the way I have been treated and information have been relay to me with such a sensitive topic/ process. Very unprofessional staff and sometimes very rude. I am afraid of trusting them with such an important moment in a womens life.
UPDATE 1/22 - two years later Ive had another round of egg freezing, I could tell that this time around they were MUCH more busy & staff seemed to have far more on their plate. I felt some pressure from Kindbody to get my medication from some pharmacy in Jersey which was difficult to coordinate delivery with so opted not to but that was a bit of a headache because I had to push to get my meds where I felt comfortable. I was SO relieved one of the nurses checked to make sure I had my trigger shot the day before I needed it because I didnt & I very easily could have been in a nightmare situation (needing a trigger shot on a Sunday evening & unable to get the prescription filled in time). Because there were so many nurses on my case I felt like things like not having the right medication at the right time almost slipped through the cracks. It seems like a dedicated nurse to each case with a checklist to cover with clients (like does the client have all the necessary medication) at the START of the process would be beneficial. All and all I ended up with 22 eggs frozen and am grateful it all worked out so 5 stars remains BUT there were a few close calls in terms of almost not getting what I needed/information in time. Perhaps capping the number of clients they can take at a given time or more staff would be helpful as it was apparent the staff was stretched very thin but were doing their absolute best. I definitely think this is more of an upper management issue to fix.ORIGINAL REVIEWWow! If I could give Kindbody NYC more stars I would. I had such a tremendous experience with them in freezing my eggs (most likely in preparation for use with a surrogate). First off, I went to two other fertility centers for consultations, both were more expensive than Kindbody and did not provide me an ultrasound or blood test and could tell me effectively nothing about my body. In contrast Kindbodys consultation was actually useful and informed me about my egg reserve and hormones. Additionally, I am most likely utilizing a surrogate later to have children due to health concerns. Not only were the staff at Kindbody informed about how egg harvesting differs in preparation for surrogacy (different testing is required due to FDA regulations) they were also very sensitive to my health concerns and consideration of surrogacy (wish I could say the same for other fertility clinics I went to). Second, Kindbody was far more affordable.Third, the other two needed me to book ages in advance and were insistent on using birth control in preparation for egg harvesting. I do not take hormonal birth control due to health issues and Kindbody allowed me to harvest my eggs based on my bodys own natural menstrual cycle. Not only that but they allowed me to book last minute. I could hardly believe how seamless everything went. The entire two week process from initial intake to the surgery was an absolute breeze. Kindbody is truly healthcare of the future, you can contact your nurses via WhatsApp and they have videos to watch explaining how to prepare and administer your shots. The process was considerably less intimidating with all of their help. There were a couple of issues around the online portal but these were quickly resolved and everyone was apologetic. Totally understandable as this is a start up and they are still ironing out the wrinkles but I got the sense that every single staff member was working their very best. While the two week process was a breeze the surgery was quite painful for me as I have endometriosis in one ovary but again the doctor and nursing staff was extremely empathetic and ensured that I had the necessary medications for my comfort. I got 17 eggs from this retrieval and will likely do one more with Kindbody. I also love that they have offices in California as surrogacy is illegal in NY state and Ive been promised the transfer of my eggs to CA should be no problem. Thank you so much to the Kindbody staff for making an intimidating task a manageable one!!! (And affordable).
From the second I entered the sunflower archway my whole day changed. Emory and the team at KIndbody made me feel so safe and welcomed. I really appreciate Emorys energy and the way she communicated with me every step of my appointment. I was very nervous and she took extra care, completely relieving me of any nerves. I will never go anywhere else and I will also recommend Kindbody to all my friends. Thank you!
I am soooo grateful!!! Yes! I got my rainbow baby. Thanks to God and thanks to the wonderful team at Kindbody. Dr Aimee and her staff have been amazing and as a result we have our wonderful son at age 49. The staff is pleasant, clean office and convenient hrs. On our first try, my lining wasn’t cooperating and on second try everything went well and as a result got our handsome some. I didn’t have insurance but somehow, God allowed us to find ways to afford donor eggs, and to also pay off those huge bills before our baby was born. I have a healthy son and is soooooo grateful to become a mom. I’m aware that Ivf doesn’t work for everyone so I’m grateful to be blessed with a child. No matter the amount of $ a person has, Ivf doesn’t always guarantee to work and it’s no one’s fault, not even dr’s. Thanks Kindbody, thanks dr Jackie for recommending Kindbody. Thanks dr Aimee and your amazing staff including nurses and everyone involved in making our dream a reality. I highly recommend Kindbody! Entire staff is pleasant!! I wish Kindbody continued success!!
While the Dr. we spoke with was wonderful, I would not be recommending this company to anyone anytime soon. The consultation fee is $800!!!!!! After seeing a few more Drs, I have come to realize that Kindbody is taking advantage of woman hoping (an understatement) to get pregnant. We went out for a second and third opinion when we learned that the Princeton location was not even fully open and no other fertility Dr. charged more than $200/$250 for their consultation and gave us incredible care. If we had known that we would have to be traveling back and forth to two different locations we would not have stuck ourselves with an $800, 30 minute video chat bill right out of the gate. Kindbody should have informed us of this BEFORE the consultation. They need to get their Princeton location READY BEFORE opening the doors AND consider how much they are charging for a video consult. Unreal.
I had a really great experience with Kindbody while trying to conceive through IUI. Unlike most fertility clinics (I experienced two well-known NYC clinics), I didn’t feel like feel I was just a number waiting in a large waiting room full of women. The experts at Kindbody walk you through the process, are extremely transparent and communicative, and are always accessible if you have any questions. The “human factor” or bedside manner is also there- they actually care about you and your experience. This is huge when you factor in all the stresses of trying to conceive. I’m happy to say that I’m two months pregnant after only two attempts.
I had my first visit today at Kindbody in Princeton, NJ. I was very impressed by the facility. It was extremely clean, warm, inviting, and the staff were pretty awesome! I felt super comfortable during my visit, and everyone from the receptionist to the NP were helpful and amazing. I look forward to my journey with Kindbody in Princeton.
I went in for the fertility assessment (bloodwork and ultrasound) and met with Dr. Sasan. She seemed in a rush to explain fertility to me and did it in about 15 minutes and was annoyed when I tried to ask more questions.During my ultrasound, they noticed my IUD was in the wrong place and so Dr. Sasan tried to take it out but ended up breaking it inside of me when she pulled it out.I returned 5 days later so she could take the rest of it out which was a very traumatic experience. Dr. Sasan dug into my cervix for 20 minutes with metal forceps trying to retrieve the IUD fragment to no avail. I was sobbing in pain and fear on the table the entire time. She was not gentle, and afterwards when I tried to ask what my options were ask more questions, she was very short and condescending. Her bedside manner is the worst I’ve ever experienced, especially in such a vulnerable state.Afterwards, I did some research on her and it turns out she has a lot of negative reviews for poor bedside manner as well as being very condescending. I also learned she is not a fertility doctor, and only a DO (versus an MD).I ended going to another fertility clinic to get rid of the IUD and they were much more gentle and compassionate.
Honestly, do not spend your time or money here. I’ve been a patient for about 4 years and nothing has ever gone right. I can’t imagine how this company’s lack of communication must make trying to conceive that much more difficult for women. I’ve had entire appointments just go missing from my chart records, cancer screening tests missing, and don’t even get me started on how long it takes to get a PRESCRIPTION. These people are working in Tech and not Healthcare. They do not care about patients.
Holy moly, ladies. I just had the best OBGYN visit of my life for my yearly women’s wellness. It felt like going to the spa. Relaxing music, gorgeous office, thick cotton gown and a warm exam room. All the nurses were so nice and my exam was the most quick and painless it’s ever been. I remarked to the nurses how it was the most comfortable and relaxed I ever felt at the OBGYN and they beamed “thank you!! That’s the idea!!” Wow I am seriously impressed!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt like my gynecologist actually cared, listened to me and gave me advice to take away. The environment is peaceful and uplifting and the decor is just beautiful!
This review is for your SF location and I hope you read it! You have a medical assistant at front desk who also dubs as the blood collecting nurse .. who really did not know how to take blood pressure readings nor take blood , I am still scared to death about the way she inserted the needle .. she wore gloves late in the procedure , did not wipe my arm well with the antiseptic , was really not sure if what she was doing or supposed to do .. This unpleasant experience will haunt me forever -in all caps. The doctor was good though.
Had a horrible experience. I got an initial consult which was fine and kind of vague. This is when they first opened. Im past 35 and my AMH is low. a woman from the their office keep calling me all of the time non stop pretty much weekly for almost a year to check in It felt like when a creditor or when someone is trying to sell you something was calling. I kept saying Ill call when Im ready and she kept calling with urgency and Kind of pressuring me. Finally right before the pandemic I told her your making nervous just say what you need to say. And they told me OVER THE PHONE that my chances of getting pregnant naturally or maybe at all are zero to none. My heart sank. And they never called back after that to check in lol
Absolutely incredible from start to finish! Such a positive and caring environment. Everybody is so professional and kind. I had such anxiety due to past negative experiences with other fertility specialists and left Kindbody feeling so confident and hopeful. Highly recommend.
I came here to understand my fertility and speak to a doctor about family planning. From the moment I walked in the door, it felt incredibly salesly. I had no interest in freezing my eggs, but the doctor didn’t ask me that until we were 30 minutes into our conversation. I thought Kindbody was going to be a safe place for women to come to get informed and better understand their fertility and to ask questions. Instead, it was an uncomfortable experience where I was being pushed to freeze my eggs the entire time. The office is also nestled within NYCIVF which was interesting. All the follow up emails and communication I received was also about special egg freezing deals. I would not recommend Kindbody and even if I decide to freeze my eggs, I won’t do it through this place.
My assessment of their service boils down to kind negligence. They have friendly and calming dispositions but if anything goes wrong they do not act swiftly or competently on behalf of their customers. I went through an egg freezing process at another NYC location that was not as friendly but I had no medical issues with them. With my 2nd round here, I had a terrible experience. The other frustrating aspect of dealing with them is communication. One person will tell you something in person at the office, another will tell you something on the phone, while another dr will tell you something via whats app AND there may be differing information in your portal. If i hadnt already gone through the process before, Im sure I would have been more confused and frustrated than I already was!Things initially went smoothly but then I had a reaction to one of the drugs. After an injection of a new drug, the next morning I had rashes on both hands and one arm. I emailed one dr that didnt think it was a reaction to the medication (okay, thats the only thing that was new in the the last 24h). I gave the injection the next day again and after that the rash had spread to my face and ears. I was due in at their office that day for my blood work so I asked a different dr in the office about the very itchy and uncomfortable rash that was spreading. She agreed that wed switch the medication in case it was a negative reaction. This all was happening at the height of COVID-19 in NYC and I was not taking public transpo or taxis, I was biking everywhere. I specified to them that they needed to put in the prescription for the replacement drug right away so that the pharmacy could deliver it to me before the cutoff time. They said that they would. I went home and waited. The portal continued all day to show that I was to take the same prescription again that night! I reached out on whats app since the office didnt answer to ask why they hadnt changed the medicine? Theyd been distracted with another case so she quickly put in the prescription to the pharmacy. Then in the middle of a huge rainstorm I had to bike 80 blocks and to the other side of Manhattan to get to the pharmacy before they closed and then bike home in the rain!On top of all of that all theyd said was to take a cortisone cream. There was very little interest in the rash and the discomfort it was causing me. Eventually one dr said I could take benadryl. They wanted me to take benadryl morning and night. I cant really function well on benadryl during the day so I could only take it at night but once it wore off, the rash was still itchy.I saw another dr at kindbody that said I should have been taking daytime benadryl! Okay, I left comforted until I searched for that and realized that wasnt a thing! Again I didnt know what to take since I didnt know what could be taken with all of the fertility drugs. My PCP didnt know anything about those drugs and what could cause interactions. Once I realized that they would just keep saying nice things to me while ignoring my medical needs and just trying to push off my issues hoping that theyd go away, I decided to seek out my own specialists. I went to an allergist and figured out independently that zyrtec seemed to clear up the itching. I went to my obgyn. I had to do everything that they should have been able to handle with other doctors. This was traumatic and its ridiculous that a company I was paying would put such little effort into my care. And, they kept gaslighting me thorough this as well, later telling me that the rash was not related to the fertility drugs (not what the allergist I went to said and it went away after all of the drugs were out of my system). Eventually after I sought care elsewhere they called to pretend like they cared about my condition and were prepared to actually help. They had numerous chances to do a decent job throughout all of this! Only one person on their team eventually said sorry. Go anywhere else, you want people that are competent doctors, not drs that just have kind words.
BEWARE!! I do not recommend this place for anyone. In the process of looking into filing a formal complaint of malpractice for being misdiagnosed by this facility. They are very apologetic as they continue to pretend like they know what they are talking about. You will take a lot of test but little information is shared as to why you need it. They just procrastinate and give wrong information with a smile on their faces and good for canceling appointments while you are en-route.
BEWARE: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PAYMENT INFO ON FILE WITH KINDBODY! I came into the facility a year ago and was told I had no co-payment. Here we are, the week of Christmas and Kindbody has decided to do a claims reconciliation and has charged me without sending an invoice or any prior notice that I had an outstanding balance. Its deplorable that would conduct business in this manner. I am trying to obtain a copy of the financial agreement to see where I consented to allow Kindbody to charge me without notice. No one seems to have an answer. Thank you for ruining my Christmas!
Kriszta is a good balance of knowledgable and empathetic. She is very kind and helped me navigate some nutritional issues and balancing hormones.I feel more confident I and am building new habits that will positively affect my health for the future. 10/10 recommend!
One thing that most people don’t know is this place does more than just fertility! You can do your regular annual here too! Highly recommend! It’s just such a better experience than a normal doctor’s office. This is the future people. If you’re in SF, gotta see Erica! She’s the sweetest person ever and is so easy to connect with! You will LOVE her!
My whole experience from start to end with Kindbody has been surreal. I honestly think every day I wake up wondering is this really happening but I also thank God everyday that it is happening and that its happening with Kindbody. From Dr Brownes expertise and patience with me to nurse Annas perfect blood drawing technique I have been in awe of what you ALL do every single day. And most importantly and most memorable to me... you have all been so Kind, so thank you 🙏🏽.
Wonderful option for annual exams! Super easy to book, beautiful space and wonderful doctors and staff supporting your visit. I highly recommend!
I have spent years not receiving clear information about my health. I recently learned that I have PCOS. The doctors was educated, clear, patient and partnered with me to make a plan. I am empowered, hopeful and grateful. Coming out of the dark of your health is healing. I want that for every women and family. My husband and I are excited about continuing our journey with Kind Body.
They listened to me and my husbands concerns and hesitations. Had patience to answer every question asked. Did not force a protocol that we were not comfortable with. Very knowledgeable about what they knew about IVF & endometriosis. Which is key for me
They are opening an office in SF and I went to an event that I was told multiple times the fertility assessment was $200, that is not the case. Read the fine print and there is a lot of fine print with kindbody. I just received an additional bill for $78 for bloodwork. The fertility is not just $200 or $300 like they are telling you. I don’t trust this company and I will never recommend them to anyone.
Visitng the Kind Body truck was a great experience. They even helped me answer some questions I had about my results after my visit. If you are planning to have kids or just want to know more about your fertility, I would highly recommend going to there website and seeing when there next truck stop will be.
The mobile clinic was really cute. And clean; it went fast tho I was hoping to have more conversation with the doctor and talk more but it was a weird vibe kinda felt outta place. Overall the staff was really pleasant.
STAY AWAY! This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with medical professionals. They do not care about getting you pregnant or your well being. They only care about $$$. I was recommended to them by another doctor and foolishly didnt do nearly enough research.
I learned more about fertility in 30 mins than I have in over 20 years seeing a regular obgyn. I also love that we aren’t wasting time by delaying important tests. Regardless of the outcome, I feel much more in control of my future.
I had my first virtual visit and it was amazing. Dr. Ahmed was wonderful. She explained everything and made us feel comfortable. I am looking forward to my next appointment
Felt like I was at a car dealership a little bit and was being sold on egg freezing. Didnt even ask me if I was in a relationship, if I was interested in something else, why I was there. Just launched into egg freezing. But it was very convenient with the ultrasound, bloodwork, and information sharing all in one appointment.
Everyone here is very nice. From the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor, everyone was really welcoming and patient. The doctor explained everything really well and answered all of my questions. I’m very glad I went here, knowledge is power. I’ll be back soon. Thanks Kindbody!
Found out about KindBody via a timely IG ad! My visit went smoothly & on time, interior was lovely. And all staff was really great & pleasant, phlebotomist too. Once sat down, given lots of information and my questions answered about fertility testing etc! Really glad I came and appreciate this free initial service.
I had my AMH taken at a mobile van event. The entire team was extremely friendly and professional. They made me feel so calm about the entire process, including receiving my results!
Amazing caring doctors, nurses. Didnt rush, took time to listen, very accommodating. Very helpful. Accept many insurance plans for a consultation and tests. Provide very useful information.
Knowledgable, empathic and kind doctors who take the time to answer all your questions in full detail. Beautiful and clean space which makes you feel welcomed. Felt very safe with the new COVID-19 measures.
Dr. Sasan and her staff and colleagues were very kind, personable and empathetic. Dr. Sasan was very transparent and she broke everything down for me, step-by_step. Although the information wasn’t what I wanted to hear, I am now armed with tons of information and I know more about my options.
Theyre not transparent, will send your lab work out of house after opting for in-house labs. Then when you investigate they tell you they dont do in house labs. Thanks for stealing my money, not giving me information about my health, and lying to me.
It was my first time here and I will come back definitely. Nice place, everybody was so nice and friendly. Dr Seungdamrong was so helpful, she explained everything, she gave her full attention and listened to me patiently. I recommend Kindbody to everyone! 🙏🏼✨
Blown away, such a great experience. Each person on staff I encountered was kind and helpful. I felt comfortable and most importantly- HEARD. Also, not a long wait at all.
Warm, clean and inviting atmosphere. The staffs are awesome! Overall amazing experience, great bedside manners from the moment you arrive. I love it here!
I must say that kindbody is amazing they make you feel welcome and very helpful with making your dream come true! My husband and I have been working with kindbody for a while and we are steps away from completing our family 🤗🤗😍😍
I went to the Kindbody popup in SF. I loved how there was a fertility doctor there chatting with us about what this test was (and wasnt), the phlebotomist was great and did a really nice job handling a not so great with needles person, it was a reasonable amount of time to get in and out, and of course I loved that it the pop up was a ton of value being given for free!
Dr. Browne was very empathetic and understanding of my needs. She made me feel at ease. She assured me that everything was going to work out for me.
Overall the clinic was clean and organized. The nurses and staff were friendly and detail oriented and the doctor was very patient, very informative and professional.
Kindbody in flat iron was a great experience. My provider was very thorough and answered all of my questions with patience and comfort. I would recommend this place highly!
Service was excellent. The practitioner took her time to explain everything that I needed to know. It was also a very comfortable environment.
I have never felt so compelled to leave feedback. If I had a do over I wouldnt pick this place for fertility. Its so stressful here. From communication to trust. Save yourself the tears, please go someplace else.
The staff was friendly, the space is welcoming and comforting, and the education we gained from our first visit was exemplary (and beyond what we could have learned online or on our own!).
I love Kindbody. I have been sharing my journey and experience with my family and friends. I have recommended Kindbody to several people already
Great experience it was like being at Spa (except it was a Dr.s office). Everyone was super sweet and helpful and most importantly they were very punctual!
Warm, welcoming and comforting environment and staff. I felt incredibly taken care of and was very happy with the entire process. Highly recommend!

Had a very good experience and look forward to discussing next steps with them. Made me feel very comfortable and at ease.☺
Very professional and patient with my questions. All personnel was very knowledgeable and willing to help due to my needle phobia .
Beautiful space, kind reception, warm nurses and doctors, easy on-boarding and booking!
