Went to Dr Wertz for an egg freezing consult that included an ultrasound and bloodwork. Everything seemed fine but the office was not very responsive. I didn’t end up going through with the egg freezing due to the high cost but did actually recommend a friend to Dr Wertz. However, I can no longer recommend this practice. I’ve been trying to get my medical records from this office for the past month, and they either won’t respond to emails, send me to voicemail or say they’ll call back but don’t (I’ve spoke both with nurses and the offices medical records department. I’ve also emailed Sarnia, Dr Wertz’s medical secretary multiple time with not response. I’ve checked my MyChart and there is no record of my appointment, my blood work or any office notes. The only thing I have access to is the ultrasound images but nothing on the written results. I’m honestly baffled at how they’ve seemed to have lost my records and their complete lack of response to my calls and emails. If this is any indication of how the office is run, I’d steer away.
