Dr. Andrea Vidali is an exceptional physician who truly takes the time to explain every detail and possible outcome. He was thorough, patient, and made sure I understood all aspects of my condition and treatment options. His expertise and willingness to answer all my questions put me at ease and gave me confidence in moving forward. Highly recommend!
If I could give Dr. Vidali 100 stars, I would. The summer of 2022 I started having debilitating periods with slowly got worse. It went from mild pain during my period to daily pain that disturbed my life. In 2023 I had multiple ultrasounds to be told that everything was unremarkable and the only way to help was hormonal birth control. I tried every type of birth control out there and it would work for a few months until I found myself in pain that continued to get more severe. I finally switched OB-Gyn doctors and was told I might have endometriosis. I knew I had to not only go to an OB-Gyn but one who specializes specifically with endometriosis excision surgery. I live near Boston and consulted with the amazing team up here(will leave them nameless but I think they are great), but the wait for surgery was about 14 months out. I couldn’t wait that long with my deteriorating condition. I found Dr. Vidali from a friend who went to him. I filled out the forms and in 48 hours had an in person consultation scheduled for 8 days later. His office staff was warm and welcoming, answering my questions prior to my appointment. Dr. Vidali spent an hour with me which included an ultrasound where he immediately saw what looked like adenomyosis. He laid out a few possible treatment plans for me and gave me all the pros and cons. He was confident he could get me out of the pain I was in daily and my life back. I felt heard, validated, and understood. I scheduled surgery for 7 weeks later. The nurses and office staff answered all my questions no matter how minor they were. I went into surgery with debilitating back pain that started in my lower back and would extend at the worst of times up to my neck and down to my knees. I was in constant pelvic pain. I barely slept because of how uncomfortable I was. I had daily issues with my GI track no matter what I did. I came out of surgery after a hysterectomy, appendectomy, and excision of endometriosis with absolutely no back pain. I am currently almost 4 weeks post operation with no back pain, my GI problems are basically resolved, and I do not have any more pelvic pain like before. I have normal pain from healing from a major surgery but still feel better than I have in years. Dr. Vidali and his staff continue to communicate with me, and respond quickly to anything I need. I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back.
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vidali and his team. Post surgery I truly feel like I have my life back thanks to them. After 10+ years of debilitating pain from endometriosis, I finally received answers and the care I needed thanks to Dr. Vidali. Many gyno surgeons perform endometriosis surgeries but only a few surgeons truly specialize in endometriosis and are able to excise all of a patient’s endometriosis and Dr. Vidali is one of those few surgeons. I am so happy I went with him for my surgery and I cannot recommend or thank him enough.
I am 4 weeks post surgery with Dr. Vidali. I feel better each day! I wish I met him sooner. In 2023, I went through extensive endometreosis workup at two major NYC hospitals and was not offered clinical advice for multiple symptoms that I have had for years. I started to believe there was no one skilled or confident to perform my laparoscopy and excisional surgery. I was living with chronic abdominal pain, back pain 9/10, endo belly/adeno belly 24/7, GI issues, chronic fatigue and nausea. Dr. Vidali was the first doctor who was paying attention to my history and pain. He is warm, kind and intelligent. He is excellent at reviewing the imaging and listening, he found things in minutes that the radiologists missed. His passion for this diagnosis and raising awareness is why I trusted him to do my surgery. He works with an enthusiastic team who makes you feel comfortable and safe. While I was in recovery on a Friday evening, he went to the waiting room and sat with my caretaker to explain the surgery in detail and how I was doing. The nurses, office and billing staff were all professional, prompt and available. I have only good things to say! If you are local or have to travel a far distance to meet him, it is worth it! He is the best.
Dr. Vidali is an excellent and caring physician. He takes the time to listen to his patients’ experiences and answer all questions. He is very knowledgeable, skilled, and very kind. He addressed all follow up concerns promptly and helped with anything that came up after surgery. I had very little pain after an extensive endometriosis surgery, and I believe that is due to his skill and planning. Thank you, Dr. Vidali!
Dr. Vidali is everything that he and his patient say he is and more. I have been working with him for about a year and Im now three weeks postop a total hysterectomy, a partial colectomy and a lot of removal of scar tissue endometriosis and adhesions. In communicating with his team via email and phone, I have encountered some of the kindest and most caring people throughout my 20 year long medical journey. The fact that hes so active on social media makes him even more human to me and relatable all the while he is an absolute giant in his field, world wide. He also has a team of other excellent specialists he works with for complex issues and because of him, I was able to get some relief and help with chronic bladder and bowel issues. He is authentically himself, which I appreciate, and doesnt sugar coat, which I also appreciate.Ive encountered surgeons who are truly that - just surgeons. They cut, they sew, their job is done. But this is the first time I feel like I have a long term ally in my health complexities and in managing my disease, whatever the future and my ongoing recovery my bring. Most of all, he listens. He validates. He is a helper. As Mr. Rogers would say - look for the helpers. Look for the doctors like Vidali.
Having my surgery with Dr. Vidali was the absolute best decision. Such a genuine and caring doctor! All of his staff are equally as wonderful! I had a complex stage 4 case of endometriosis that included a bowel resection and after too many years of suffering and mistreatment/misdiagnosis, I literally feel like a new woman. Dont go anywhere else. ❤
Dr Vidali reviewed and spoke to me about my stage four sciatic endometriosis. He was very compassionate, weighing my options with me and being very clear about what I need to do whichever path I took. Hes extremely Knowledgeable, and I have talked to many top surgeons in Europe and in the US. I have some unique circumstances that actually do not necessarily lend to surgery as the best option, and he made me feel confident that I could watch and wait. I really appreciate that perspective coming from a world renowned surgeon.
There are no words to describe the level of care that Dr. Andrea Vidali provides his patients. His bedside manner is superb! Dr. Vidali’s calm demeanor, humble nature, and cozy office put me at ease the moment I walked in. I felt like I was catching up with an old friend!Prior to our introduction, my suspected endometriosis was properly excised and diagnosed. My bowel and bladder symptoms, chronic left leg and hip pain, and sciatica pain were addressed by having a sacral nerve stimulator implanted giving me 80% relief from the chronic debilitating pain that I once experienced 24/7. Although my quality of life has drastically improved, I continue to have some uncomfortable cyclic symptoms.I have spent most of my adult life in doctor’s offices trying to navigate my symptoms, multiple doctors have suggested a hysterectomy to biopsy and rule out adenomyosis. The thought of having a hysterectomy at my age, another major surgery, to biopsy my uterus was not sitting right with me. What if my uterus was totally normal and the source of discomfort was coming from somewhere else? I lost count of how many sleepless nights I have wrestled over the thought of a hysterectomy.Dr. Vidali’s advanced skills in MRI and ultrasound reading is invaluable. He determined in 30 seconds, what I have not been able to accomplish in 3 years, that I do indeed have adenomyosis. The answer to a question that seemed so out of reach just moments prior, saving me so many next steps! During the ultrasound he took time to show me on the monitor where the adeno is located in my uterus. He answered millions of questions, listened to my thoughts and concerns, and never once did I feel rushed.Dr. Vidali confirmed that my adeno is a “classic” case, is not advanced, and if symptoms are under-control for the most part I do not need a hysterectomy or another major surgery right now! Dr. Vidali gave me a huge gift, peace of mind and preservation of a major organ!Furthermore, Dr. Vidali complemented the work of my previous surgeon after reviewing surgical photos. He reassured me that I had taken all the right steps prior to meeting him. I was met with respect, honesty, compassion, transparency, and professionalism. In addition to my experience in his office, it should be noted that Dr. Vidali is well-versed in current research in the field. He is constantly researching, educating, advocating, training, and networking with other highly skilled advanced surgeons and practitioners. Most importantly, his dedication and commitment to patient advocacy has served as an immeasurable resource, providing a sense of community I had once longed for, a dream come true!I left Dr. Vidali’s office feeling like I had a new friend, a likeminded proponent who understood my passion for advocacy, and someone to turn to if the adeno discomfort accelerates. Since our initial meeting he has been easy to reach, responds quickly, and has served as an invaluable resource. The validation I got from this experience was profound!
Thank you, Dr. Vidali. He and his office are busy, but once I had my consultation, I felt he cared and heard. What I was dealing with was real the pain and the difficulties in my ttc journey. I was able to have implantation success after the laparoscopy surgery. Wish I had found him sooner. Four years of trying, and after the surgery, I waited six months, and my transfer worked. I have a two year old thanks to Dr. Vidali. Edited to add, it was emotional for me to realize how much pain I lived with before having the surgery. Thank you again, Dr. Vidali for my quality of life in my body.
Where do I begin? After years of being dismissed and medically gaslit by doctors, it is an overwhelming feeling to be in Dr. Vidalis care. He is the kind of physician that not only listens to his patients but believes their concerns and symptoms are valid. He is also honest and will give you the (blunt) truth which is also rare in this field. He is the best at what he does. Even after asking my previous doctor multiple times about excruciating period pains and other classic endo symptoms, my concerns were just brushed off. Meanwhile, it took Dr. V 20 seconds of looking at my MRI images to diagnose me with endometriosis. He is the most skilled endo surgeon out there. The staff at JCMC and his surgical team incl. Dr. Raccuia and Dr. Larish are all a well oiled machine. You truly feel like you are in the best of hands. I travelled from out of state to have my laparoscopy with them and the entire process was smooth. I had stage 3-4 endo with extensive endometriosis and yet experienced no pain post surgery. Dr. V called me several times before flying back home to personally check on me. I would not have a laparoscopy with anyone else and recommend him to anyone suffering from endo symptoms! My only regret is that I wish I had seen him years ago!EDIT 9/24/24 : Unfortunately, I need to come back and adjust this 5 Star review to a 3 star review. The reason for the edit is due to the way my case was being handled post laparoscopy. I had 2 no shows to my post-op appointments with Dr. V, so my post op appointment happened out of the blue when he could fit me in. Didnt seem as professional, but I know how busy he is so I did not make it a big deal. But what has really been an issue post surgery is that it has now been 5 and a half months since my procedure and I have been unable to obtain much needed images/video from my surgery. The surgical packet that I was provided for my laparoscopy read in detail ...Dr. V and team will speak with your accompanied friend or family member if you have consented for them to do so. They will provide your escort with a folder encompassing your detailed discharge instructions, pictures for your surgery, as well as a USB thumb drive continuing video of your surgery.I had explicitly discussed the need for images/video from my procedure with Dr. V minutes before my surgery at the hospital. As I am a fertility patient with a long medical history, I am in desperate need for these images because my RE refuses to continue my treatment without images/video from a hysteroscopy - which Dr. V performed. I discussed this with Dr. V in great detail at my consultation and again at the hospital to explain the importance of receiving images. At no point was I given any directions on obtaining this footage from the hospital staff. So upon waking up from surgery, I was cold and disoriented - as to be expected from the side effects of anesthesia. I was quickly released and felt pretty nauseous as I was being wheeled out of the hospital, so I was not in the condition to check the folder I received for images/video.I have continuously reached out to the office but have only received the runaround. I am still at a complete standstill when it comes to continuing my IVF treatment. Any IVF patient will understand that at age 37 you dont have 6 months to wait to continue treatment. Months later, I was told I should have asked the hospital staff for the video footage, which I was never advised at any point. I even paid an additional $75 to have it mailed to me. I never received anything. As of recent, Im not even receiving replies to my requests from the office. How disappointing of an outcome when youre dealing with a highly skilled professional, an expert in his field. You travel out of state and pay a large amount of money bc you have the utmost faith in his abilities. And sadly, its not the lack of skillset that lead to my disappointment, its the poor follow up care I received. This situation could have easily been addressed, but the way it has been handled, it has left me feeling abandoned.
I had excision surgery with Dr. Vidali this past April and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone struggling with endo. I have stage IV disease involving many organs and he was able excise it all while keeping my fertility intact. He is highly skilled with excellent bedside manner and checked in on me several times post-op to made sure I was recovering well. I am 3 weeks out and feel incredible. His team coordinators were also well organized and spelled out every step of the process along the way.
After trying everything else, Dr. Vidali did my excision six months ago and I’ve never felt better. I went from 10 out of 10 pain to 0 out of 10 pain these last six months, which has never happened in over 20 years. I’m a new person. It’s a totally different life without pain, fatigue, GI issues. I’ll be forever grateful.
I credit Dr. Vidali with my pregnancy success after a history of recurrent miscarriage. I messaged him upon a positive pregnancy test, knowing I needed immune treatment to avoid another miscarriage. He quickly looked over my labs and prescribed medication. His wonderful nurse Linda made sure to get the script in ASAP so I could have it overnighted. All of this happened while I was anticipating my upcoming consult with Dr. Vidali. I’m forever grateful he took time out of his day (in between cases) to help me. Dr. Vidali’s advocacy for women battling infertility related disease and immune issues is unmatched — a true hero for many, including myself!
Honestly Dr Vidali is a miracle worker. I went through six years of infertility. I did 5 IUIS and two surgeries for endometriosis. It came to the point where my ex husband left me for someone else. A couple of years down the road I was with someone much more supportive and encouraged me to go to Dr Vidali for my endometriosis even though he is located hours away. I had my surgery in December and everything went great. He cut out so much endometriosis and reconstructed my ovaries and it worked! In February after years of negative pregnancy results I found out I was pregnant. The first month of us trying after the surgery! Dr Vidali definitely knows what he is doing.
I did immune testing for recurrent pregnancy loss with Dr. Vidali. I had by that point experienced four of my six losses and was still grieving a stillbirth. He was compassionate, direct, and took the time to answer my questions and be sure I understood. I received an incredibly detailed and useful hundred page report. He gave me a clear idea of the potential effectiveness of different treatment paths, which is surprisingly hard to come by. I now have a beautiful baby boy and am so grateful to Dr. Vidali and the doctors in Canada who helped make this miracle happen. Dr. Vidali is highly skilled and a total mensch. I can’t sing his praises enough. Also, what a well-stocked bookshelf!
You never hear someone say the best part about having endometriosis is... but for me... the best part about having endometriosis is leading me to Dr. Vidali and his amazing team who truly cares about his patients and this disease a way no one else does!!I met Dr. Vidali at my first endometriosis summit conference in 2020 and I knew from that moment I was finally going to get the right care! After over 15 years of horrible debilitating pain, 4 years of failed IVF cycles, miscarriages and two endometriosis surgeries I finally knew it was time to leave my comfort zone and travel to another state and let Dr. V work his magic! On October 8 I finally had surgery with Dr. V!! I was so excited this time for surgery! I woke up after surgery hearing the words “we removed all your endometriosis! The endometriosis in your bowel is OUT!!!” My past surgeries I was told my surgeries were done to the best they could and always heard we couldnt get everything, it was too risky. Your endometriosis is one of my worst cases”. However that was not the case with Dr. Vidali! Dr. V and his team literally changed my life!! They removed all my endometriosis even all the risky parts! my surgery was finally successful!! 5 months later my husband and I found out we were pregnant and I seriously owe it all to Vidali!! He is the GOAT!!From meeting Dr. Vidali to my first office visit I never had a doctor care to listen and have so much knowledge about endometriosis and infertility! When Dr. Vidali performed my in office ultrasound at my first appointment I knew at that moment I was really making the right decision. Never before did a doctor take the time to do that themselves. At that appointment my husband and I knew traveling to have a doctors appointment and than traveling for surgery was going to change our life! My first periods after surgery were a breeze! I couldn’t believe I could work, function leave my bed all with having my period!!December 1 2021 my angel baby boy Nicola was born and I can’t thank Vidali enough for finally making my body a safe and happy home to grow a baby and my biggest wish come true… be a mommy! Please ladies- leave your comfort zone!! Dr. Vidali truly cares, knows so much and has so much skill with dealing with this horrible disease! From his office team to his team of Doctors, they are all amazing! Like I continue to always say-Dr. Vidali treats his patients like your his only one! 8 months postpartum I still feel the best I have! I’ve gotten my period and can’t believe how great I feel!!Make the move go to Dr. Vidali!!!!Best of luck to everyone reading this and who is still struggling on the other side!
Dr Vidali and his team are so amazing. I traveled to see him from Canada. No regrets! I felt so confident and comfortable at every step. Highly recommend him and his team.
I had surgery with Dr. Vidali in October 2022. I am very thankful for the good care he took of me, both during the surgery and afterwards. Dr. Vidali is very understanding and makes himself available by phone to his patients for questions or concerns throughout the process. We now have a beautiful daughter who is 7 months! Couldn’t be happier for my decision to undergo surgery with Dr. Vidali!
If I had 6000 stars, those would not be enough to reflect my experience of a consult with Dr.Vidali. I was seeking a second opinion due to my latent pain after excision surgery and stage IV endo and Adenomyosis diagnosis six months ago. What meant to me the most was not only the quality of the medical consult but the empathy, humanity and professionalism I was met with.We spent a good hour and a half reviewing all my history truly in depth like I have never been able to do in any other medical appointments in more than 15 years of agony going to more than 35 specialists. Dr. Vidali not only is a very knowledgeable endometriosis surgeon, he also has a strong competence in radiology and ultrasound. He has been truly a one stop shop for me during my consult, and something that truly should be the gold standard of care. He was able to show me live the findings of my MRIs pre-op, and in less than 5 mins skillfully performed an ultrasound that confirmed serious Adenomyosis and possible residual endo disease. I am not joking when I say that I learnt more about my situation in this hour and a half than in 15 years. I truly wish I had this visit 12 years ago when my symptoms started becoming unbearable but I guess we get to a place when we are supposed to.He also showed true empathy for my pain and gave me some pain management tools that i have never had before, and he even arranged an express compounding for me at a pharmacy within few hours before I left NYC. He truly has a 360 degree vision of endo care, we even discussed lifestyle and things to implement to optimize my healing.I also appreciated the extreme intellectual honesty and respect for other surgeons he showed when reviewing my surgery videos and notes. He didn’t throw his ego in the conversation to push me into picking him for my next surgery or discrediting the previous team who took care of me and that truly I had an amazing experience with. This way of talking was in absolute starking contrast with some other conversations and consultations where I received very rapid judgements without even taking the time to review my materials (e.g. they must have done something wrong if you have pain, they didn’t do what I do so well, etc). I felt seen, understood, respected. I didn’t feel he gave anything for granted, he truly wanted to help with his knowledge and experience and then leaving me with my reflections and personal decisions.I left NYC with my heart heavy because of my diagnosis and situation, but light and full by this conversation that has been healing and full of informations that will enable me to decide and do what is best for my health and quality of life. thank you Dr. Vidali! Grazie grazie grazie
My wife just recently went through the endometriosis removal surgery with Dr. Vidale, and we couldn’t be any happier. He is extremely professional. His team was amazing and guided us through this journey with all the information we needed. I would highly recommend as a husband for any couple needing his services.
From beginning to end and beyond the care that I have received from Dr. Vidali and his colleagues has been extraordinary. They have me hope and delivered the highest quality of care and expertise in surgery that allowed me the opportunity to heal and thrive again! I am forever grateful for him and his team of experts!
I am so thankful for Dr Vidali. Previously I experienced extremely painful cramps and bloating each month. The bloating became so bad that my OB suggested an ultrasound which found 2 endometriomas. I met with a different doctor first who told me I would need surgery to remove the endometriomas, and also advised that in order to get pregnant I would need to work with a fertility specialist to go through IVF because unknown impacts of the surgery. I then saw Dr. Vidali who said that while I needed surgery to remove the endometriomas, there is no reason to think that I wouldn’t be able to conceive a baby naturally. He took the time to deeply explain things to my husband and I and answered all of our questions thoughtfully. Dr.Vidali was able to schedule my surgery for July of 2020 despite being in the midst of surgical delays during the pandemic. The surgery was successful and I’m happy to say that Dr. Vidali was right and I conceived a baby naturally in October 2020, just 3 months after my surgery. 3 years later and I no longer have the painful cramps and there is no bloating. I will always appreciate Dr.Vidali for advising me to make the best medical decision for me and my family.
Dr. Vidali is an incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and skilled endometriosis surgeon. I had a very complex case and had amazing results from my surgery, after experiencing decades of pain and many doctors who minimized my symptoms, or who did not know how to treat them. If you are suffering from suspected or confirmed endo, especially if you have bowel involvement and/or infertility concerns, Dr. Vidali and his team are second to none. He collaborates with other experts in the field to ensure the best possible patient care, truly cares about his patients, and is a fantastic surgeon.
I had a virtual consultation with Dr. Vidali. He was patient and empathetic. He provided me with a referral after evaluating my case and realizing my pain is probably stemming from a different source. I would highly recommend Dr. Vidali.
Dr vidali is a very professional and kind doctor ! He is very caring and his team wasamazing with me .if you have a problem falling pregnant and suspect you ayez endometriosis dr Vidali is the best dr to go to . Thank you Dr Vidali for everything
After dealing with pain every day for more than a year (far shorter than others, but still unbearable), my 14-year-old daughter was finally diagnosed with endometriosis after a diagnostic laparoscopy in August. She had excision surgery with Dr Vidali on 3/2 (today is one-week post op). My daughters pain is already better (even recovering from surgery), and she has no endo pain at all. Dr Vidali is a unicorn. He seems to be beloved by all (nurses, docs), and has been so incredibly kind. Since her surgery, hes FaceTimed us to check in on her multiple times, and has worked closely with her pediatrician on her care. Her surgery was more extensive than expected, and he followed her care post-op very closely. We are so grateful for finding Dr Vidali. He is a true gem. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, he is committed to educating others in the field. We had to travel out of state to have the surgery which was chaotic, BUT the surgery was the easy part. He was there every step of the way, and was really communicative about the process. Endometriosis is such a tricky and infuriating disease. Dr Vidali is your guy if you want the best surgery possible. We are forever grateful.
If you are looking for a true endometriosis expert and specialist surgeon, please see Dr. Vidali. I traveled from Philadelphia, PA to work with him in Hoboken, NJ…not far at all considering how many years it has taken me, 3 failed surgeries prior to seeing him, and a COMPLETELY different and great experience once I started working with Dr. Vidali.I have so much respect and gratitude for Dr. Vidali and his team. Not only is he an incredible surgeon with so much knowledge about endometriosis, fertility and continuity of care for patients, but he is also an amazing, compassionate and genuinely kind human being. I feel so fortunate to have found him and his amazing team.I have a chronic, severe/stubborn case of endometriosis and like many, have experienced years of getting the “run-around,” just trying to figure out what was going on with my body, and most importantly trying to find solutions and relief. I have undergone 4 laparoscopic surgeries to treat my endometriosis. Unfortunately, there are many surgeons who claim they are “expert endometriosis excision surgeons,” and they are not. My third surgery was with who I thought was an expert, and I believe they did more damage.Dr. Vidali is an EXPERT. Please consider a consult with him at a minimum and do not waste your time. Dr. Vidali met with me once over the phone to review everything and then in person to do an exam and then sit and review everything with me and answer all of my questions. Getting scheduled for surgery with him was a pretty seamless process-his team is awesome-very responsive, thorough and helpful along the way.My surgery day, Dr. Vidali and atleast 3 other members of his surgical team came to personally see me before surgery which really helped put me at ease (and they are all kind, reassuring and friendly). After surgery, Dr. Vidali gave my husband an update on how it all went, and even came back to spend a little more time with my husband to answer questions that he had about my care and next steps (thank you!) I am now about 8 months post op and feeling much better…after 15+ years of dealing with my endo and all that comes with it. I wish I’d found him sooner!I have been in touch with Dr. Vidali for follow up questions since my surgery and still, he is very responsive, knowledgeable and just seems to care so much. I continue to learn from himvia the information he shares on Instagram (follow him, it is VERY helpful to understand this disease and how to fight it).I highly recommend reaching out to Dr. Vidali and continue to be very thankful for him!
I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Vidali and his exceptional care. I traveled all the way from Canada to New York to undergo surgery with him, and it was worth every mile. From the moment I made the initial appointment, his staff was incredibly helpful in preparing me for the surgery, providing me with all the necessary information, and ensuring that everything was in place before I arrived.Dr. Vidali is truly one of a kind. His approachable and caring nature put me at ease from the very beginning. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns and questions and provided me with clear and concise answers. I never once felt rushed or dismissed, and I truly felt like I was in the best possible hands. The surgery itself was a success, and Dr. Vidali removed my endometriosis and endometrioma with the utmost skill and precision. The recovery process was smooth, and I felt well taken care of throughout the entire process.I can honestly say that thanks to Dr. Vidali, I feel like I have my life back. The pain and discomfort I experienced before the surgery are now a distant memory. I feel healthier, stronger, and more alive than ever before.Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Vidali enough. He is a one-of-a-kind surgeon who truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to ensure their well-being. If you are looking for a skilled and compassionate gynecologic surgeon, Dr. Vidali is undoubtedly the best choice out there.
Dr. Vidali is fantastic! My husband and I were having a challenging time getting pregnant. We went to Dr. Vidali to see if it was because of my endometriosis. After meeting with him for my appointment, I knew he would be the one to get to the bottom of what was going on. He listened to everything I was going through and asked questions. He really took the time to get to know my situation. He definitely went above and beyond to help in any way he could. After some testing and recommendations we able to get pregnant naturally which was huge for my husband and I. Dr. Vidali only has the best intentions for his patients and genuinely wants to help them. I would highly recommend Dr. Vidali!
Choosing Dr. Vidali for my surgery was the best decision I have ever made for my health. Prior to surgery I was trying to exercise and eat healthy but the chronic pain and symptoms of my endometriosis put me in a cycle of not being able to eat certain foods that were healthy but would increase my pain because of bowel endo. I also did my best to exercise because I did feel better afterwards but before and during I would be in pain because of severe cramps and constipation. Many doctors tell you to loose weight to relieve your symptoms but they dont address the underlying issues creating huge barriers to doing so. It felt so good to finally be listened to and my pain not dismissed. When I went over my post op note, I finally felt validated because every symptom I described, he found endo causing havoc in the area. He was extremely thorough and diligent with the excision while still preserving my reproductive system. I have heard of so many stories where people werent relieved of their symptoms or more was taken out than should have. Personally, I would not trust just my regular obgyn or a referral to an in network provider who does not have the level of expertise as someone like Dr. Vidali to do this surgery just to save on out of network cost. You will be paying for it later. Dr. Vidali is worth his weight in gold. Recovery has been challenging as my body is relearning how to do its normal body functions without obstruction from endo. I highly recommend pelvic floor PT as soon as you can do it after surgery.
My experience with Dr Vidali and his team was utterly confounding. On my initial telehealth consult he looked at my imaging that was released to his office and heard my story and told me what he saw- he said I did not need to keep living in pain and he could help- he said I had extensive disease. He also said I should have a hysterectomy. He told me the Nook surgeon who told me my pain likely was neurological was an “idiot” and so forth. Truly, he was so emphatically confident and so convincing. After all, he said my imaging showed a lesion here and there etc. I believed him. After a handful administrative frustrations and mistakes, I traveled all the way to Dr Vidali. I waited for HOURS in pre-op to be wheeled back HOURS after my scheduled time- I understood and was flexible- what choice did I have really? I had the perspective that if he is taking time with others that is good as I would also want him to take time with me. I was back in surgery for three hours and woke up in recovery around 10pm. He had called my husband and told him he found “extensive Endo limited to the pelvis and got it all.” Relief. Such relief. My post-op appointment was then scheduled for a few weeks out- he never called. It was rescheduled. He never called- and repeat. Then I was told he was out of the country for a month. Rescheduled for a month later. He never called. I had to shake some trees and finally, he called. And he told me that my surgery was “unremarkable” and that my uterus”didn’t look too bad.” Absolutely jaw-dropping. I have yet, months later, to understand the discrepancy here. I had tried to schedule follow-ups with him and…he never called. My experience has been devastating and I feel extremely taken advantage of- setting aside any administrative headaches from his office- I am absolutely sick over how my case has been managed. I am so concerned over how confidently I was told I had extensive disease and my husband was told one thing with such confidence post-op and then…a bomb dropped on me when I *finally* had my post-op call. Something like this should never happen. Please think twice before choosing him as a surgeon. I could have saved my entire family a trip from VA to NYC and gone to someone closer. Thankfully I opted out of a hysterectomy and did not consent. I do not even know what was done to my body that I was back in surgery for several hours? It is a terrible thing to feel vulnerable and confused about something such as a surgical procedure. I only hope my review can help someone else.
Dr. Vidali saved my life! Having suffered with endo symptoms for most of my adult life, I did a LOT or research prior to choosing my excision surgeon - I wanted to make sure I’d have an expert who would look EVERYWHERE and remove EVERYTHING. This is exactly what Dr. Vidali did, and throughout the whole process, he was so nice and empathetic and knowledgeable, I’ve always felt so comfortable and optimistic. But I had no idea how much surgery would change my life. My case in particular was not about fertility issues, but really excruciating pain and other endo symptoms. It’s been 4 weeks today and I can’t believe how much difference I already feel. It feels like a huge cloud that was always above me just simply left. Truly life changing.Dr. vidali’s team and the hospital team were also amazing, surgery day couldn’t have been more seamless and comfortable.
I was diagnosed with endometriosis a year ago after 15 years of desperately trying to figure out what was the cause of all my pain and being dismissed by countless of doctors. I also had a laparoscopic surgery (a year ago!) that was unfortunately very unsuccessful due to an inexperienced doctor. Few months later my pain was back and even worse. I was truly hopeless and lost at that point in my life. Dr. Vidali was recommended to me by my new gynecologist. I did my (tons) research and could not have been happier with what I found. I was able to get an appt and saw him at the Hoboken location. Dr. Vidali is incredible. He was kind, attentive, LISTENED, and thoroughly explained what needed to be done etc., which is a rarity. I was so appreciative and grateful to have that especially when you are so completely lost and feel you have no where to turn. At the appointment we needed an ultrasound, which can be quite painful. When he was finished, Dr. Vidali actually turned to me and asked if I was okay with true sincere concern. I have never had a doctor ask me that. I was shocked but felt so relieved and believe it or not happy that a doctor truly cared. I was in tears when I got home. We made the decision to go ahead with surgery. I am two weeks post-op and my recovery is light years better than last time. It’s wonderful! Dr. Vidali could not believe the significant amount of endometriosis that I had especially for someone who just had surgery! The entire staff (& billing office) at the hospital were also so very wonderful, attentive and caring. Dr. Vidali’s team along with Dr. McHale were incredible. Surgery can be very nerve wracking and his team made me feel so comfortable and so safe. Ladies, when looking for a Endometriosis excision specialist please see Dr. Vidali. He is truly knowledgeable and truly cares in helping you get better. He’s a true blessing. I am so looking forward to my future due to Dr. Vidali. I cannot thank you enough. Thank you!!!
My experience with Dr. Vidali has been amazing. I’ve been meeting with him and getting input from him over the last two years. Finally had surgery yesterday with him and his team. He found stage II endo and excised all of it. it’s helpful that he has prior experience with IVF and now 30 years of surgery experience, so he approaches surgery with an eye for preserving fertility. His bedside manner is outstanding and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. His staff is extremely warm and welcoming too.
I saw Dr. Vidali following a failed surgery for my advanced endometriosis performed by another surgeon. Dr. Vidali is a knowledge, kind, and approachable physician. He discusses all treatment options and takes the time to get to know his patients and answer their questions/concerns. He is very gentle and explains his findings during his examination. I trusted him from our first meeting. The office staff is very responsive and helpful and his hospital team is kind and caring. Prior to surgery, I had a lengthy discussion with Dr. McHale (Dr. Vidalis fellow) and spoke with Dr. Vidali as well. I knew that I was in skilled and caring hands.Whilst I am still healing from my surgery, I already feel much better. Dr. Vidali was able to remove all of the residual disease. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Dr. Vidali.
Dr. Vidali saved my life. Seriously. There is no greater gift than the one he afforded me.Been suffering from endo and adeno for my entire life, but it got so bad that for years I was in the ER every 3 weeks when my cycle started. I had no life left, I couldnt make plans, the window of time I had without pain was narrowing to the point where I spent most of my life in bed. Mentally, I was in such bad shape I didnt know if there was a way out.I had two surgeries with Dr. Vidali. The first was to remove endometriosis and unfortunately it did not help my pain- I was devastated. But it was the more conservative option. The second was for a total hysterectomy and Im so glad I did it. I have my life back. I said Id wait until 6 months post op to make any declarations out of an abundance of caution but I feel confident that he solved the problem. Im making plans, seeing my friends, living my life again. There are some side effects and Im not perfect, but the cost was worth the benefit a million times over.Dr. Vidali also recommended a surgeon for my mother when she almost lost her life due to life-threatening infection. He is amazing and we are so grateful for the role hes played in my familys health.Doc- if youre reading this- we love you!!!
My experience with Dr. Vidali was excellent. After 3.5 years of unexplained infertility, and no other overt endometriosis symptoms*, Dr. Vidali discovered and excised extensive stage 3 endometriosis which we hope might be the cause of our recurrent pregnancy loss and failed fertility treatments. He was professional, thoughtful, and took the time to listen to and discuss our questions and concerns. One of the things I appreciate most about Dr. Vidali is his honesty - we are incredibly grateful to be working with a doctor who is so direct and will tell us his honest opinion and recommendation. Thank you, Dr. Vidali! We were out-of-state patients and the entire experience went very smoothly - and a lot of this was thanks to his top notch team who helped us along the way. The BRI office staff were very helpful with explaining the process, answering questions, and especially with navigating insurance (thank you, Maryanne!). I was kept in the hospital for 24 hours after my surgery and the hospital staff at Hoboken University Medical Center were exceptional. We were so grateful for their care and support in those precious 24 hours following surgery, especially as out-of-state patients who were going to fly home soon.*If you have silent endometriosis or unexplained infertility, I highly recommend scheduling a call to get Dr. Vidalis opinion on your case. While I didnt have the classic endometriosis symptoms, I had tested positive with the ReceptivaDx test, but after six months of hormone suppression (Orilissa, Lupron Depot, and Letrozole) my IVF transfers with PGT embryos were still failing to implant, so that was when we decided to pursue excision surgery.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vidali. He performed my surgery after my previous doctor misdiagnosed me and performed an unsuccessful surgery. Dr. Vidali cares so much about his patients. I have reached out to him on numerous occasions due to my condition and he has always treated me with such kindness, compassion, and respect. Finding him has changed my life.
Dr. Vidali is an incredibly talented surgeon who goes above and beyond for his patients. I found my way to him through my PT at the time, Dr. Sallie Sarrel. At that point, I had already had a long journey with Endometriosis and Infertility. I had progressed from monthly pain to daily pain and my last robotic surgery had made my pain levels even worse. Minimally Invasive Surgery was no longer an option for me, I needed a multi-disciplinary team of surgeons who knew how to do excision on multiple organs. Dr. Vidali was the only surgeon that I met who had been honest with me about that and also had a plan for who the team of surgeons should be. He never hesitated or exhibited any sense of ego around being able to handle the surgery himself, as some other surgeons had. He knew what I needed and he made it happen. Every step of the way, including during a COVID delay, Dr. Vidali was open, honest, and caring, making me feel like I was his top priority. I did not have this type of experience with my previous surgeons, not even close. Now, I define my adulthood as before Dr. Vidali and after. He and my other surgeons, Dr. Larish and Dr. Raccuia, have literally changed my life. I continue to reach out to Dr. Vidali for guidance and he is always very responsive. If my future has another surgery in store for me, Dr. Vidali will be the only surgeon that I consider.
I don’t even know where to begin with sharing what an AMAZING, CARING, and PERSONABLE doctor Dr. Vidali is.He did my endo surgery in Dec 2020 and I was pregnant with my miracle baby in March 2021. He got me in for surgery immediately because he knew how ready I was to have a baby. He spoke to me on the phone everyday after my surgery and was there to answer any questions at ANY time. I went back to him when trying to get pregnant with my second baby because he is truly the only doctor that cares about you as a person. He does not force you into surgery or unneeded procedures. I saw him March 2023 and am not pregnant again. Just by his decisions and suggestions. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Vidali for giving me my miracle babies and not giving up on me. He is the only doctor we trust and the only doctor we ever met that truly has a heart of gold. Every other doctor told me endo does not affect fertility. In my case it clearly did and if it wasn’t for Dr. Vidali I wouldn’t be where I am. I cannot thank him enough!!!!
Dr. Vidali and his team are the best! I had debilitating pain from my endometriosis and I was desperate for answers. I had excision surgery with Dr. Vidali last year where they found significant endometriosis including on my liver and diaphragm. They were able to excise all of it and preserve my fertility. I’m so grateful to Dr. Vidali and his team for giving me my life back!
I had surgery with Dr. Vidali in May 2022. I had been having ongoing issues that turned out to be extensive endometriosis that was adhering to my bowels/bladder. After surgery I’m feeling so much better. Dr Vidali is an expert at what he does - I didn’t want to go just anywhere for this surgery because I wanted to make sure it was done correctly the first time. His team was great! Office staff are very friendly and helpful! If you have endometriosis - he’s the surgeon to see! Very knowledgeable and helpful! So glad to have my life back.
Youre in good hands with Dr. Vidali. His staff is very responsive & available to answer your questions as you prepare for the possibility of having surgery. Dr. Vidali is a fantastic surgeon with great bedside manner and a wealth of knowledge. I felt very well taken care of throughout the whole process, and my recovery was very quick, which I believe speaks to his skill as a surgeon.
Not a day goes by when I am not thankful for Dr Vidali. I had surgery in 2020 by another surgeon to remove a uterine cyst that turned out to be endometriosis. The surgeon was not able to remove all of the tissue and it came back with a vengeance in less than a year. In 2021, Dr Vidali operated on me and spent 7 hours removing all of the endo, which had spread throughout my entire pelvic area. He took his time and made sure he removed all of the problematic tissue as well as a 10 cm ovarian cyst.During my recovery, he was in contact with me via text or phone to make sure I was recovering well especially given that he had to take a small piece of my bowel. I’ve never known another surgeon to be so accessible. I had an issue with my pre-surgery bowel prep and he talked me through it via text. It put me at such ease to know he was there if I needed him. Since my surgery, I feel like a new person. I used to take Motrin almost daily just to get through the day, but haven’t taken/needed Motrin since my surgery.Dr Vidali is a champion for women suffering with endometriosis. If you are in need of help with your endo, look no further. Dr. Vidali is a highly skilled surgeon with a fantastic bedside manner.
I am so beyond grateful for Dr. Vidali and his team! They truly saved my life. The pain I suffered prior to my surgery was excruciating and unbearable. I was beyond nervous about everything going into the surgery but now being on the other side, I can say now that it was an incredible experience. I felt cared for and supported every step of the way. I was on the other side reading reviews, and now Im this side writing the review. Dr. Vidali and his team changed my life. I just kept saying how grateful that these humans exist! Thank you for taking the time to do what you do!You are incredible, and I will take my love and appreciation for you and your team with me in every new memory I now get to make.
Just had my consult with Dr. Vidali and it was fantastic. I had so many questions regarding endometriosis and adenomyosis and he answered them fully, thoughtfully, and without judgement. He made me feel heard and validated and most importantly not rushed. (Something I haven’t felt from a doctors office in a long time.) I feel supported and ready to begin my endo healing journey. Thank you Dr. Vidali!
Dr. Vidali provided my family and I with exceptional care that is truly unmatched in the medical community. His attention to detail and commitment to positive patient outcomes have given me peace of mind through my health journey. I felt like I was working with someone to improve my health, not trying to convince someone of an issue with my health. From bedside manner, to actual surgical expertise, Dr. Vidali should be recognized for excellence and consistency. Even though out of network with our insurance, I felt confident and informed to make decisions with him and would recommend Dr. V to any woman who has ever suffered with endometriosis. Thank you, Dr. Vidali! 🙏🏽
I’m a nurse practitioner who had 3 surgeries in 2 year’s for endometriosis before I began researching for a better surgeon who would excise it all and look into the thoracic area where my pain was. That research led me to Dr. Vidali. Dr. Vidali was very thorough during my surgery and made sure to look everywhere. He got endometriosis off my bowel, bladder, diaphragm, among other problems places. I’m so grateful to have had such skilled excision. Dr. Vidali is the right choice. He gave me my quality of life back.
Dr. Vidali changed my life. He took my chronic pain seriously and performed a successful surgery that improved my symptoms and helped me become pregnant and a mother. In addition he was incredibly empathetic and compassionate. dr. Vidali is clearly passionate about his area of expertise. I would definitely recommend him.
I am so grateful to have found Dr. Vidali. He has helped me learn so much about endometriosis and how to help treat my symptoms. I had excision surgery back in 2019 and have been feeling great ever since. He is such a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable doctor and the only one I trust to help treat my endometriosis. I cant thank Dr. Vidali enough for helping me feel great again!
After dealing with endo pain for last 5+ years, I’m finally pain free! Dr. Vidali performed my surgery at the end of July and since then, I’ve felt great! When you suffer from constant pain, EVERY DAY, it’s hard to imagine a pain-free life, and after surgery when Dr. Vidali explained how much endo I had (which he removed all of) I didn’t really know what to expect post-op. All I can say is THANK YOU Dr. Vidali and your team for changing my life!
Dr.Vidali is such an amazing doctor. I had surgery with Dr. Vidali June 2022. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 7 years ago. After going through multiple surgeries, various doctors. I was able to find the best doctor who not only believed in me but also was very helpful. The quality of his job is honest, and trustworthy. I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Vidali and his staff. So warm welcoming and very efficient. This journey has been worth it all, as i did have to travel from the West Coast to the East Coast. Thank you Doctor.
Amazing experience getting expert excision surgery from Dr. Vidali. He answered all my questions and I feel fabulous one month post op. Always available to answer my questions (even called me on his vacation) and the nurse Linda in his office was also amazing at helping me over the phone! Thank you Dr. Vidali!!
Dr. Vidali was an absolute life savior. I went to him after being misdiagnosed by my gynecologist. Dr. Vidali immediately identified the adenomyosis on the ultrasound as well as potential endometriosis based on my pelvic pain. He found a great treatment plan for me that was evidence-based and took into account my goals in life to have children.I would amiss not to mention Janice, the office manager. Janice is not only extremely responsive but also has the kindest demeanor. She is extremely knowledgeable about womens health issues and is never dismissive of the pelvic pain women may be experiencing (unlike other staff Ive witnessed). She keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine and always responds within the day.I would highly recommend Dr. Vidali and the team for any women struggling with endometriosis.
Dr. Vidali is an unbelievable dr with amazing bedside manner! I had prior (unsuccessful) surgery a few years back with another well known dr here in NYC. The level of care and precision that Dr. Vidali has is unlike anyone in his field! Please please please everyone DO YOUR RESEARCH and if you have endometriosis save yourself time, money and pain and have a consult with Dr. Vidali
I had surgery for my endometriosis with Dr. Vidali and he truly did an amazing job. He was very attentive to my needs and my many questions. I ended up in the emergency room from one of my flare ups he made sure to call the hospital I was at to make sure I was okay. He’s very knowledgeable and seems to be very passionate about his job always getting the most recent updates on research in the endo community. I felt safe in his care.
I can not say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Vidali for my daughter’s endometriosis. My daughter was diagnosed when she was 16 via an ablation with Stage 4 endometriosis by a different doctor. ( which did not provide much relief). It has been a heartbreaking experience watching her suffer over the past 5 years, being bounced from doctor to doctor all with differing approaches none seeing my daughter as a person a young girl who should be out living her best high school life. She was actually being home schooled rarely leaving her house or bed. Her chronic pain and nausea stole her life. Dr. Vidali spoke with her, acknowledged her feelings and listened to her. Most importantly he put a smile on her face reassuring her that he would help her regain her life and be able to return to college in a better place. He and his office were easy to work with and responsive to her calls and questions. He personally followed up with my daughter and encouraged her to keep him informed of her progress. I truly am happy that I trusted him with my daughter and her future. Her surgical sites are healing perfectly and so is she.
Dr. Vidali is an absolutely AMAZING doctor! I have been dealing with endometriosis for over 10 years and have gone through countless treatments that were not effective at all. Dr. Vidali sat with me and explained all of my options, in detail, to ensure that I got the best care possible. I ended up getting surgery and I do not regret it at all! He found extensive endo throughout and was able to excise all of it. After, he showed me pictures (that were labeled and I got to take home) of every part of me that he checked and pointed out all of the endometriosis. When I ended up having a reaction to a medication a few days later and ended up in the hospital, he was texting me personally until midnight to make sure I was getting the best care possible. When I had to be admitted, he visited me every day to check on my progress. He truly is a wonderful doctor that really cares about his patients. You will not regret going to see him!!
My experience with Dr. Vidali and his team was incredible. After 22 years of specialist’s and health problems I finally had an appointment with Dr. V and it could not have gone smoother. Dr. V was compassionate and took the time to go over health concerns. I had surgery and only 1 month post-op I feel better than I have in years. Everyone on his team were extremely helpful and it could not have gone better!
I am 13 weeks post op from my 3rd surgery for endometriosis at 38 years old. After dealing with endometriosis since I was 11 and more recently adenomyosis, I set out to find a specialist. I knew I needed to demand more for myself after 2 surgeries, and poor guidance from the many doctors I have seen over the years. When I began to research more in depth I came across a talk Dr. Vidali did online, and I immediately felt like he was explaining how I have felt for more than 2.5 decades. I learned more from a 20 min talk than I had in any general Gyn office. I made an appointment with a few specialists in Florida and Dr. Vidali in NJ, I live in Florida but I really felt after hearing him speak that he would be worth the travel. My consults with him went well, and I felt heard and knew I would be in good hands, so I booked my surgery. The first 2 months of recovery were not easy, and many days I was not sure if things would be completely better, but Dr. Vidali and his fellow Dr. McHale walked me through all my questions and concerns. I am so happy to say the last 3 weeks I feel like I am living a life I didn’t know existed. I don’t walk around feeling like I am going to throw up at any moment, hunched over in pain, and I am not bleeding for weeks on end, to name a few. I had pains places I didn’t even realize until they’re gone now - it’s incredible what we accept as “normal”. Thanks to Dr. Vidali and his team I finally feel like I have some quality to my health, and can’t wait for what’s ahead! His team is amazing and I would travel a million times over to be in their care.
I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Vidali! Not only is he a truly amazing and caring surgeon, he is a huge advocate for the endometriosis as well as the infertility community. I had surgery with him in June for stage 4 endo. During surgery he also discovered an endo lesion on my bowel which led to a bowel resection. Definitely wasnt expecting that, but it was the cause of so many of my issues! I have had ZERO pain since everything was removed and I have my life back! Dr. Vidali went above and beyond for me and Im so thankful for him and his expertise in this field. Ive also experienced multiple miscarriages and IVF failures, largely in part due to my severe endo, but I still always felt that there was something more going on. It couldnt just be bad luck time after time. We did immune testing with Dr. Vidali and he is the only dr to give me answers and hope, to tell me its not bad luck and that having another baby is absolutely possible! So so happy and thankful to have found him, my only regret is not finding him sooner!! Thank you Dr V, I am indebted to you forever!!
What is there to say about Dr. Vidali? That he’s a good doctor? That’s not enough. That he’s a great doctor? Or even the best doctor? None of that is sufficient. I think the perfect word is that he’s a GENIUS. Truly, he is the best doctor I’ve ever had.He is extremely professional, takes excellent care of his patients, is kind and caring, and he is so obviously skilled and knowledgeable about what he does. I felt well taken care of, safe, and secure in his care.I did my endometriosis procedure a couple of years ago and that’s the best things I ever did for myself. No more pain, no more discomfort - that’s all in the past and I have Dr. Vidali to thank for that.I’m still in his care for a different procedure and I’m so excited for our next steps and what is to come. His team it’s also great and professional and very pleasant. Thank you to all of you have done for me so far ❤️
I went to Dr. Vidali after years of misdiagnosis, medical gaslighting and extreme chronic pelvic pain and he listened to me. He and his team performed my excision surgery in July and it has been life changing. They found endo everywhere. As soon as I woke up my legs had stopped aching and so had my lower back. My period is practically painless now and I dont need medication or to lay down as I did before to get through the day. Before I was so constipated I couldnt go to the bathroom in weeks, now Im going almost every day. Most importantly for the first time in my life intercourse is pain free. Im very happy to have contacted Dr. Vidali and Dr. Larish, true experts are hard to find and Im glad ny research led me to them. If you need an endo expert who is compassionate and thorough and its posible for you to travel to NJ definitely contact Dr. Vidalis office.
Dr. Vidali was personable, caring and knowledge on my long history of endometriosis during our first call. I am looking forward to being his patient, it is so refreshing to know someone out there is so knowledgeable on the disease. Thank you Dr. Vidali!
First of all, Dr Vidali’s support team are exceptional. The communication and organizational skills are second to none.Dr Vidali is an endometriosis god and has made my life immeasurably better. Not only is he a great doctor he is also one of the kindest and most empathetic humans I have ever met.You are in great hands with this team!
I recently had my excision surgery with Dr. Vidali and have been feeling better and better every day! Finding Dr. Vidali truly saved my physical and mental health. Before finding Dr. Vidali, I was in tremendous pain with symptoms starting over 10 years ago, with no answers or treatment options in sight. After multiple ER visits, inconclusive but alarming imaging and lab work, and innumerable doctor and specialists’ visits, I was still being ignored by doctors or shuffled to the next specialist, between OBGYN, GI, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, etc. As I started to research and realize my symptoms matched endometriosis, I went to multiple doctors who clearly have not been trained in this disease that affects 1 in 10 women. I was flat out refused further imaging or surgery, described incorrect definitions of the disease, and told my treatment options were chemical menopause, ablation surgery, getting pregnant, hysterectomy, or best yet: told how many painkillers I could take daily without accidentally overdosing. Having a healthcare background and many family members in healthcare, I know how to systematically review medical journals and had to spend hours educating myself about this disease, and discovered that everything I was told was not actually best practice (or even flat out untrue!). This is when my mother found Dr. Vidali, and from day one he proved to be not only an expert in this field, a fantastic doctor and surgeon who truly treats, listens, cares for, educates and advocates for his patients, but extends his care beyond his caseload by actively creating freely accessible educational content to all, even co-founding the Endometriosis Summit with Dr. Sallie Sarrel (who I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and who is an incredible, knowledgeable practitioner with personal understanding of this disease and who has educated and guided me throughout this journey). Dr. Vidali is truly an expert and pioneer in this unfortunately overlooked part of healthcare. I’m so happy to say how much happier, healthier, pain-free and understood I feel after being treated by Dr. Vidali!
A lot of people write reviews on surgery that just happened. I’m here to write a review of FIVE YEARS POST OP! It probably has taken me so long to write a review because I have been out LIVING; Living and enjoying a pain-free life thanks to the amazing Dr. Vidali! I had extensive stage 4 endometriosis with a majority being in my bowel and rectum. Dr. Vidali and Dr. Raccuia are superheroes - Batman and Robin if you will 😃! I needed an open surgery and even with that I woke up feeling better than I did prior to surgery. Hoboken Hospital also was amazing! The nurses were all phenomenal (and I was there for 6 days) and I was treated like a celebrity. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vidali. I thank him in my prayers every day! I truly do not know what would’ve happened to me if it wasn’t for him. Ladies, believe me - listen to your body and be your own advocate - pain is not normal. Please, do not trust or listen to your GYN that just tries to give you a bandaid being hormones (birth control or lurpron), telling you to deal with the pain, or promises of a laparoscopic procedure that “burns” away the endometriosis. I did the research and thankfully that lead me to Dr. Vidali! Just go see him!
Dr. Vidali has been beyond helpful; he’s actually a Godsend. He is my first and only positive experience with a healthcare professional since being diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2019. In March, I had my telemed consultation with Dr. Vidali. He was attentive, sincere, thorough, and I could tell he read every line of my surgical packet because he was asking me specific questions that pertained to it. He filled a script for progesterone, and taking half a pill daily (in conjunction with my pre-existing IUD) has kept me from flaring. I truthfully have not flared since the end of February, and I started taking the pill at the beginning of March. I highly recommend Dr. Vidali to Endometriosis patients.
Our OB told us: The fact that you had a healthy baby shows what an amazing job your endo surgeon did!Our OB did not know who our endo surgeon was, and he even checked my wifes endo condition during her c-section. For us that is an objective peer review of Dr. Vidalis skills. My wife had stage 4 endometriosis. Other endo doctors we consulted with would not do excision for her. So we chose to go with Dr. Vidali and it turned out to be the best decision. 15 years of horrible endo symptoms are virtually gone after the surgery. And we are able to have a kid of our own!Dr. Vidali may not have the best bed-side manner and most organized office, especially for a doctor on Manhattan. But one can tell he truly cares about his patients long-term health, and that he truly loves what he does. When it comes to endo surgery, Dr. Vidali is the best.
I had a free consult with Dr. Vidali for my endometriosis. His team was super prompt in scheduling me for the consult. On the day of, he called and was very thoughtful and caring. He gave me a recommendation for a local surgeon I could see who he knows personally. I’m so thankful to have had a few minutes of his time.
Dr. Vidali and his team removed all my endometriosis. Dr McHale and Dr. Vidali and the whole surgery team were so caring and kind throughout the whole process even when I was scared and nervous.I am disappointed that my symptoms have come back pretty regularly within 2 months of surgery. and i was also disappointed that Dr. Vidali could not find the time to come speak with me after surgery even though i stayed through the next day. It felt like he was too busy for me. like a factory of endometriosis surgeries where i was just one of many.
Dr Vidali is so kind and also highly skilled at what he does. He gave me back my functionality with a successful robotic laparascopic excisional surgery for endometriosis.I felt the symptoms that had plagued me into not being able to keep up with work and home life lift as soon as I woke up from surgery. There was soreness from the procedure itself as expected, but the chronic pain, neuropathy, bowel issues, food intolerances and so many other little things that come with endo were either completely resolved or so improved that Im my closest version of normal once again today. For that I am grateful everyday. Thank you Dr Vidali and amazing supportive staff. The work you all do restores lives ❤️
Dr. Vidali is incredible. He operated on me last year. He is caring, attentive, answered all my questions and really took the time to talk to me on multiple occasions . I can say that with him, I feel confident in my health care decisions. His staff has been wonderful too.
I recently had endometriosis surgery with Dr. Vidali and Dr. McHale and the whole experience was wonderful! I have been suffering with severe back, hip, and pelvic pain for the past year and a half and went to countless doctors who couldnt figure out what was going on. I had a consultation with Dr. Vidali and he was very empathetic and explained next steps and the possibility of surgery. The surgery was very successful and he and Dr. McHale were incredibly warm and caring. I am very pleased with how the surgery went and would recommend Dr. Vidali!
Dr. Vidali and his team are top notch. I was referred to them by another doctor in a time of need and they handled my case quickly and with a lot of compassion. Dr. Vidali is personable and its easy to tell he cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Vidali!
The level of care, attentiveness, and concern for my well-being was top notch. Dr. Vidali and his staff were amazing. After being in pain for months , multiple surgeries and unable to function without pain meds, I can truly say I feel better then I’ve felt in years. Dr. Vidali & his staff have truly been a blessing to my family and I.
Dr. Vidali gave me hope when I was at my lowest. He is incredibly skilled as a surgeon. He removed my endometriosis, so I could have success creating embryos. He not only provides the best kind of care, but he is warm and compassionate. He provided the kind of care I needed after so many other clinics gave up.
Dr Vidali is an incredible and extremely knowledgeable surgeon. He helped cure all of my pain after 5 years of constant and excruciating pain. I’m very grateful to Dr Vidali and his entire surgical team.
I highly skilled endometriosis surgeon , very human and gentle always available to help even if he is soo busy.He saved my life in a moment where I was loosing hope.I contacted him from Italy to have some suggestions about my chronic pelvic pain since 15 years. He suggested all the bests centers in Europe to adressed me, and finally I find a solution.I really suggest to contact him if youre have endometriosis or if youre struggling with chronic pelvic pain without a diagnosis. Thanks Dr. Vidali ❤️
Dr. Vidali did my hysterectomy for adenomyosis which went undiagnosed for over a decade. He was the only doctor I’d seen that was able to see it on an ultrasound, and the only doctor who did not dismiss my pain. His entire office is amazing. They are so responsive, organized and helpful.
My experience with Dr. Vidali was amazing. I found out my endometriosis diagnosis last year and went through many doctors who disregarded my illness. I finally found Dr.Vidali on Nancy’s Nook but due to my insurance I couldn’t have surgery with him unless I paid out of pocket. I changed my insurance this year and booked the first available appointment for surgery. He was thorough and explained to me that my disease was very extensive which proved that I was in pain all this time. Because my surgery was extensive I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days. He came and visited me everyday even on weekend to see how I was. He gave me hope that I can become pregnant despite me having to lose a tube due to endo. I’m excited to see what the next year will bring. please trust Dr. vidali and his skills when it comes to endo especially infertility related to endo.
I thank God for Dr Vidali. He was the only Dr. that could help me and my husband have our beautiful baby girl. Before meeting Dr Vidali, I had gone through 5 failed FETs and several failed IUIs. I also had a 21 week loss.Dr Vidali took my case even though I have an extremely complicated medical history that includes a history of Hodgkins lymphoma and heart disease as well as the infertility .He did my surgery to look for and remove any endometriosis. He is an excellent surgeon. I was able to go to my cousins wedding the day after surgery. He worked with me as an individual , based on blood test he set up a protocol for me.Dr Vidali came to his office on the Sunday after Thanksgiving to check the linning of my uterus. I had one frozen embryo left. He performed my transfer! To my complete shock my test came back positive. Dr Vidali continued to work with me by adjusting medication after blood test. He went above and beyond when I had complications and called him late at night and again on a Sunday. He also worked with my MFM as well.Dr Vidali is truly an expert and knows how to deal with even the hardest cases. He is different than most Doctors because he treats the individual and goes out of his way to help his patients succeed. He is a genius yet extremely humble and down to earth.Look, only God can give and sustain life but God does use people to help us.Dr Vidali is the best. We have our beautiful baby thanks to his expertise and willingness to think outside of the box.
Dr. Vidali is an endometriosis expert. I underwent excision surgery in 2019. I went from barely being able to walk for more than 10 minutes at a time to now training to powerlift. I have my life back and Im forever indebted to this incredible and skilled surgeon.
I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis last year. I had an unsuccessful laparoscopic surgery for the removal of endometriomas from an inexperienced gynecologist. After that I did my research and I joined Nancy’s Nook, a facebook group that helps women with endometriosis learn about the disease and treatment options. Through Nancy’s Nook I was able to find an endometriosis specialists in my area and I got in contact with Dr. Andrea Vidali. The first time I met Dr. Vidali I can see right away his passion for helping women with this disease and how he strives for excellence in his practice. My endometriosis/endometrioma excision was a success. Recovery was much easier compared to my 1st surgery even though this surgery was more extensive.Dr. Vidali is a blessing to me and my husband.
He really deserves 10 stars, when it comes to Endometriosis excision specialist his name is the first ones that should come up! I have been dealing with endometriosis for almost 20 years, after multiple unsuccessful surgeries, including a Hysterectomy, I found Dr. Vidali on Facebook group, his first consultation is free, yes you read right free, he listens to you, go over your history and requires every single surgery record you have, this is before he even discuss doing surgery on you, for Dr. Vidali surgery is not a game and its something he takes very seriously, he makes it a mission to give his patients relief. Also after dealing with so many different Drs. Be prepared to be amazed by him, because this is the most caring and compassionate human being in the health profession I have comein touch with!Thank you so much Dr. Vidali!
I had a very complex surgery with a bowel resection. No one else agreed to do the surgery as they deemed it too difficult. Dr. Vidali was absolutely amazing. He was the only doctor who believed my symptoms. I had top notch care and cannot even believe the difference in how I feel. Dr. Vidali was always accessible and truly a life saver. It was easy to be at Hoboken University Medical Center and worth traveling for his outstanding surgical expertise.
Dr. Vidali helped me become a mom and Im forever grateful! He is incredibly passionate about his work and bringing awareness to endometriosis and the underlying causes of recurrent miscarriage. Hes also a brilliant practitioner and one of a few in the country who are on the cutting edge of miscarriage prevention. He and his team are like detectives, looking for hidden issues and potential challenges. He runs labs no one else does. He and the team analyze the results that no one else can interpret, then develop a unique protocol for each patient. My local doctor told me he wouldnt even run any tests until I had lost 3 babies. He told me my loss of a genetically normal baby after the detection of heartbeat was bad luck. He also said I didnt have endometriosis, despite having had symptoms for years. Turns out, that doctor was wrong. I went straight to Braverman Reproductive Immunology and knew I made the right choice. Based on my labs and history, a lap was recommended by Dr. B and he was right; I had stage 2 endo all over my bowels, ovaries, and tubes. I was in the most capable hands and felt like there was finally a doctor who was actually listening to me. Dr. Vidali is kind, direct, good humored, and totally dedicated to his work. At the age of 45, with my first pregnancy under Dr. Vidalis care, I got my take home baby, a healthy boy. I highly recommend Dr. Vidali!
I spent two years in so much pain from endometriosis, I went to several doctors and was not able to find any doctors that would perform surgery to help my situation. It was a blessing to have found Dr.VIDALI! He was the first doctor that gave me some hope that I could return to a pain free life. He performed my surgery, located the endometriosis and removed it. I am so grateful to him that I can return to the mom and woman I want to be, no longer bed ridden several times through the month. He is so knowledgeable, kind and has an incredible bedside manner. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone struggling with endometriosis. I’m SOO grateful I found him!
After 10 years of seeing doctors at NYU, Weill Cornell, Columbia, etc. Dr Vidali in one phone call using his expertise in pelvic pain, endometriosis, bowel, and bladder and referred me to Dr Larish, a urological surgeon who in one 45min call explained to me what my issue was and gave me options to correct it. Dr Vidali did in one month, what other expert doctors could not do in 10 years. He is straight forward, accessible, personable, and has given me my life back! I have never felt better and cannot thank him enough for the time, quick response, and thoughtful care. The out of network costs are a fraction of what I have paid over the past 10 years and given how dramatically my quality of life has change for the better...it was worth every penny.
I had excision surgery with Dr. Vadali in May of 2022. I could not be more grateful to be one of his patients. He is truly a master in his field and so sought out for a reason. I felt so safe in his care. He removed all my endometriosis. About a month after surgery I felt like a completely different person living in a pain free body. He has also been a supportive physician after surgery, keeping up with my progress. I could not be more grateful for his care. -Megan Joseph
I came to Dr. Vidali to look for an endo surgeon after doing multiple IVF treatments. I assumed surgery was my next step before an embryo transfer and I had heard such good things about him that I decided to meet with him to see my options.I was surprised that Dr. Vidali decided that surgery was not in my best interest and explained why in so much detail. He has excellent knowledge in this field and I was so impressed that as a surgeon his first go to was not to cut but he had me go through with my embryo transfer and believed it would work without surgery. In my case surgery would have been a bigger risk to my fertility so he told me to come back to him later after I was done having babies. I appreciated his wisdom and the fact that I finally was told which direction to go in. When you are dealing with infertility no doctors ever tell you straight out what you should do, they make you decide, and for once I just wanted someone to say “ok this is what you need to do” and that’s just what Dr Vidali did! He told me the protocol I should use and I was on my way.Well, he was right, this next transfer worked and I am pregnant with my first baby. Even after our consult I have messaged him to ask his opinion on various things and he always gets back to me right away. It is rare to find a doctor who does this and is willing to offer his expertise no matter what and even when he isn’t getting paid to offer it. I appreciate his guidance and knowledge and when I do need to eventually get my surgery he will be the one I will call on again.
I would not recommend Dr. Vidali if you have endometriosis or suspected endometriosis and you are looking for an expert opinion for surgery.I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2019 by a non expert surgeon. After two surgeries including a hysterectomy and no relief, I decided to reach out to Dr. Vidali for an expert opinion. My general quality of life was very poor and all my tests were coming back “normal.” I could not keep food down and my pelvic, back, and leg pain often made it difficult to do daily functions, sometimes even walking.I first had a free phone consult with Dr. Vidali. I lived in proximity to his office, he then asked me to go to his office for an in person visit/exam a few weeks later. The fee for the office visit was $900 which my out of network benefits paid a small portion for.At the office visit, he did an ultrasound to look at my ovaries and looked at four pictures from my first surgery. Based on these factors as well as my lengthy medical history narrative and symptoms, he concluded that my symptoms were not caused by endometriosis. He told me to never pursue endometriosis surgery again in my life and that fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome were likely causing my endo-like symptoms.Nine months later, I traveled out of state to have excision surgery with a highly skilled excision expert and team. I did indeed have endometriosis lesions and adhesions removed from several places causing my crippling symptoms. My digestive issues have completed resolved. Many of my pain symptoms have greatly improved and I’m doing so much better. I finally have my quality of life back. Please do your research when seeking an expert surgeon for excision surgery.
I have endometriosis for 10 years, the last two years had been getting worse that it was so bad that every time I have my cycle my pain was excruciating that I had to leave work, I would be in the bathroom vomiting and pain is so bad that I would feel dizzy and almost pass out. That’s when I decide I need to find a endometriosis specialist. My local OB offered a hysrectomy and birth control but I don’t think that’s the solution. I had joined Nancy nook on Facebook and I came across a doctor in LA that I did a consultation with. He charged me $800 out front for his consultation . I did it and I didn’t really like him so I want to consult another doctor before I made my decision. Then I came across Dr Vadali, he’s in New York and I live in CA. But his initial consultation is free so I decided I would give it a shot. I love him the first time I consult with him! He had my MRI ready on the computer and told me why I need surgery. He was straight forward and was confident about my case. After great thoughts, I decide I would travel for him. His staff and hospital he operates in are all amazing. His staff responses quickly via email that I don’t even feel there are three hours difference. He have a colorectal surgeon and a urologist that he works with and I ended up with a bowel resection , excision of bilateral endometrioma, appendectomy and adhesion removal and left all my reproductive organs intact! I’m six weeks post op now and so far I feel amazing. Recovery was smoother than I think. I hope to continue to improve. He is a out of network provider though but his office will work with your insurance. He is truly a endometriosis expert! I’m glad I found him .
I had a telehealth consult with Dr. Vidali to get his opinion on how to proceed with my fertility vs treating my endometriosis. He gave me the clarity I needed to move forward. Very appreciative to have someone in the endo community who works as hard as he does to advocate for us.
Without hyperbole or exaggeration, I want to start by saying that Dr. Vidali is truly an expert at what he does and his commitment to providing proper care is unparalleled. I found Dr. Vidali through Nancy’s Nook on Facebook, and while I wish I found him sooner in my endo journey, I’m nevertheless grateful he’s been the key in my path to recovery. In an age where anyone can call themselves an “endo specialist,” he is something of a rarity in that he actually listens to patients, addresses the issues at hand, makes a plan, and sets it in motion to get you better as soon as possible. Dr. Vidali helped me at a time when I had lost faith in ever getting better. I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 23, had surgery with another doctor, and I felt utterly hopeless when my previous doctor didn’t believe I was still in pain and still had unbearable cycles. Dr. Vidali met me, listened to me, looked over my surgical and health history, and we had a multi-pronged approach to all the symptoms I had. He’s not a doctor that will do surgery and then kick you to the curb. Far from it. He takes incremental steps attack the issues from all angles. Surgery, pelvic floor therapy, dietary and lifestyle changes; these are all things he helped got the ball rolling on that have helped me get my life back. His after care makes me confident that he’ll be on my team until he decides to retire. I know he’ll be the person I go to when I decide one day that I want to have children. On another note, I want to say that he’s genuine unlike any other doctor I’ve met. What I mean by genuine is that he’s not a doctor that will talk about believing patients online, and then turn out to be something completely different in person. The passionate advocate you see online is the exact doctor you meet in person. He’s truly a man of his word. His expertise in what he does day in and day out is incredible. Dr. Vidali doesnt use a one-size-fits-all approach, he truly looks at the big picture with attention to detail as well, as endo is such a sneaky, deceptive disease. His passion for what he does is incredibly admirable. His need to help women feel better with something as awful as endo is clearly the driving force in his work, unlike many who use the opportunity to profit off of patients pain.On a final note, his staff is wonderful as well, Janice and Judy are two very kind women who will work with you and work to get you into surgery as soon as they can. His nurses are also very sweet. So, if youre someone whos losing hope with their battle with endo, adeno, fertility issues, I really want to make it clear that all hope is not lost. Your unbearably heavy, painful cycles that dictate the way you lead your life is not your end-all-be-all. It has been two years since I met Dr. Vidali and Im miles away from the hopeless, tired, bed-ridden person I was in 2018 when I initially met him.Dr. Vidali is someone who will be on my team for years to come, and while the future can look murky for someone with endo, its reassuring to have someone like Dr. Vidali on my side, helping me plan the next step.
Dr Vidali is one of the most amazing, gifted, conscientious, kind doctors Ive ever been to. I started dealing with painful periods, endometriosis and PCOS when I was a teenager. I tried every different birth control out there to try and manage it. Nothing worked. Saw three different doctors who claimed to be the best and most knowledgeable in endometriosis and yet none of them could properly cut out ALL The endometriosis so it kept coming back. For anyone out there that doesnt know what endometriosis feels like, imagine having 3,000 knives stabbing you in your stomach and then a setting off 2 tons of TNT... And you kind of get a picture of what the pain is like... After having five surgeries and nothing working I was desperate to find a surgeon who was skilled enough to remove every tiny little piece of endometriosis. I joined a bunch of endometriosis support pages on Facebook and one of them led me to Dr Vidalis Facebook page. I watched several of his videos about endometriosis surgeries and he talked about his technique and how its different and how it gets results. I called his office and sent over all my medical records, talk to him on the phone since I dont live in New York, and right after that the nurses had me scheduled for surgery only a few weeks later. For someone in excruciating pain it was heaven to know I had a surgery date and relief was in sight. I had pre-op with him on a Monday and surgery the next day. The anesthesiologist that Dr vidali works with is excellent! If you have any anxiety about surgery or needles tell them ahead of time and they will make sure you are comfortable. I woke up from surgery in zero pain and went home completely alert and not groggy. I normally recovery from laparoscopic surgery in 3 to 4 days. I slept for most of the three days and by the fourth day I woke up in feeling amazing! During the recovery days I could text Dr vidali any questions and he would respond and Ive never had a doctor do that! Even after I flew home to Texas I was still able to text him with questions! Ladies if you are looking for a doctor who truly cares, who really knows what hes talking about, please go check out Dr Vidali!
If I could give Dr. Vidali and Dr. McHale 10 stars I would. From the first visit they were so empathetic and made me feel heard for the first time in 15 years. I wish he was my first stop but I am so glad I found him through the Nancys Nook facebook group. He is worth the travel for those that are out of state like I was. They found stage 3 endometriosis and removed it all! Im 2 weeks post-op and am recovering very well. We walked through my surgery, what I can expect in the coming weeks/months. I have their direct contact information which brings great relief as I feel like I wont be alone in this ever again. I look forward to living a pain free life in the near future and cannot thank Dr. Vidali and his team enough.
After having multiple surgeries and visiting many years with different Doctors, me and my husband almost give up our dream to have a child. Its a miracle that we found doctor Vidali. I still remember our first visit to his office – when the doctor said “Yes I think I can help you” this word gave us a big Hope and Confident.Even when we didn’t have all the answers he never let us give up. Today because of his help and encouragement we have a baby boy, so we are eternally grateful to him and his staff.
I don’t know if I can express in words what a wonderful doctor Dr. Vidali is. After 5 back to back losses with so much testing and no answers after 3 years of heartbreak, I had all but given up hope on having my rainbow baby. None of my doctors ever heard me or listened to what I was telling them when I knew something was going on inside of my body. I had begged other doctors to see if I could have had endometriosis and I was always told no, and that even if I did, it wouldn’t matter, and that it was just bad luck and bad embryos. When I finally did IVF and had my 5th loss with a PGS tested normal embryo, I knew I had to go to someone who would think outside the box. I went to Dr. Vidali as my last hope in November of 2019. Within minutes I felt more confidence in him and felt he heard what I said more than some doctors I had been with for years. He knew automatically that I probably had endometriosis. We scheduled a laparoscopy in January, and he found mild endometriosis, and took it out. In March I did a transfer, and I am 21 weeks pregnant today and I know it is because of Dr. Vidali, the surgery and his immune protocol. I am eternally thankful to him and highly recommend him.
I took advantage of Dr. Vidali’s consultation. He was very informative on my next steps and providing more insight into endometriosis. He is very caring and knowledgable! Thank you Dr. Vidali!
Dr. Vidali has been amazing! Whenever I had a question, he was here for me! After my consultation with him, I felt confident that it was the right move to go ahead with his suggested treatment plan - and it worked!
I had a free phone call consultation with Dr. Vidali (I live in California), where he patiently listened to my worries and advised me not to give up trying to get pregnant (something I have not heard from most other specialists Ive seen) and go for that second surgery to clear up any residual disease and try again! I havent even thought about another surgery, but now I will definitely look into it. Thank you, doctor!
If you have or suspect you have endometriosis, see Dr. Vidali. I’ve done a lot of research and he’s definitely one of the most (if not the most) knowledgeable doctors when it comes to endo. He’s also personable, kind, you can tell that he genuinely loves what he does and cares about his patients. But most importantly he is an amazing surgeon. He listens and talks to you like a person rather than a number, and he makes you feel confident that everything is going to be alright. His whole team and the nurses at Hoboken are also incredible. I wish I had crossed paths with him in my 20s rather than in my 30s, it would’ve saved me a lot of health issues that were ignored by other doctors. Thank you, doc!
Dr. Vidali rectified my condition when other doctors could not. Finally, I am endometriosis free. He is a great expert, skillful surgeon and considerate human being. Forever thankful!
@Endometriosis_surgeon Dr. Andrea Vidalli, a specialist with a big heart and a passion for what he does...He was an angel that God sent me to help me ..I am very grateful for choosing Vidalli as my surgeon. 🙏🏻
Dr. Vidali relieved me of 17 years of chronic pain and helped me beat the odds of infertility with endometriosis/adenomyosis. I’m so grateful to have my quality of life back and looking forward to meeting my healthy baby this winter!
Dr. Vidali and his team were truly amazing! They helped us through a difficult process and gave us the opportunity to have our precious daughter. We would 100% recommend his practice!
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2012 after an emergency surgery. We conceived our first child shortly after my surgery (8/4/13). Five years later, we decided to go for baby number 2. Since I was over 35, I seeked the advice of my OBGYN and then a reproductive endocrinologist after 6 months of trying. Both reassured me that the Endometriosis was NOT an issue. After all the fertility testing, I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We went on to have 3 failed medicated IUI’s, after which I took a 2 month break and decided I was going to start the IVF process. My friend recommended I see an Endometriosis Surgeon/Reproductive Endocrinologist -Dr. Vidali before starting IVF. She came across his insta page and believed he could help. One thing led to the next and I scheduled surgery for the Endometriosis with Dr. Vidali. Three cycles later I became pregnant. I had an extreme case of endometriosis (on bladder and all over my colon) and if I didn’t seek out the advice of Dr. Vidali, I would’ve ended up in the ER. The passion Dr. Vidali has for his work did not only improve my health but helped us grow our family! I only wish more Doctors could be like him!!
I was having an emergency on a Saturday night. Dr Vidali is amazing. He took my phone call late Saturday night when he was in South America on vacation. He was able to prescribe me antibiotic immediately due to the emergency I was in. He is amazing. I am in the medical profession as well and if you god forbid have an emergency, this Dr is here to help you as soon as possible! Thank you, Dassy Kofman MS OTR/L
I had excision surgery for endometriosis with Dr. Vidali in August of 2018. The recovery from my surgery was pretty fast and easy. He said my endometriosis was severe and that he didnt know how I was living like that. Im confident that he did a good job at removing all of the endometriosis. I do have complaints, though. Before the surgery, I had to sign a financial consent form which told me how much I would need to pay (he doesnt take insurance, or at least not mine). It was affordable, but not cheap. The form clearly stated that this payment would cover all expenses and ensure that I would have no other out-of-pocket expenses. After the surgery, I received a bill from the anesthesiologist for over $300 that I had to pay. I also received a bill from the hospital for $240,000 for a one night stay. I had to spend hours on the phone with my insurance company only to find out that they wouldnt make any additional payments (they had already paid $48,000). I emailed and called Dr. Vidalis office multiple times about the bill and only got a response once I emailed his secretary directly and told her how unhappy I was. In the end, I didnt have to pay the bill, but it took a lot of time to fight it and as someone who suffers from severe anxiety and panic attacks, it was very stress-inducing.My other complaint is regarding adenomyosis. When I had my initial consultation with him, he said that he suspected that I also had adenomyosis, but that was all he said about it. At the time, I knew almost nothing about adenomyosis. We also talked about tying my tubes since I dont want children, and he agreed to do that. The adenomyosis was confirmed during my surgery. After the surgery, I was pain free for one cycle. After that, the pain started coming back and within months, it was just as bad as before. After doing my own research and seeing that he diagnosed me with adenomyosis in the operative report, I saw that my symptoms and the symptoms of adenomyosis were the same and that the only cure for this was a hysterectomy. I was devastated to realize that I would probably need to have another surgery. In my opinion, especially since he knew that I didnt want children because he was tying my tubes, he should have given me more information on adenomyosis during our consultation and he should have given me the option to have a hysterectomy during the excision surgery to avoid having to get surgery again in the future.I think Dr. Vidali is a very skilled surgeon, however, I am disappointed with the other aspects of my experience.I did end up getting a hysterectomy for the adenomyosis six weeks ago. I traveled from Queens, NY to Pittsburgh, PA to see a specialist who takes my insurance to avoid another situation like this one.
He is a great doctor, amiable, and he answers all your questions. He was on Instagram Live and helped me a lot with my question about endometriosis.
Three weeks ago, I was fortunate and grateful to have been diagnosed by Dr.Andrea Vidali, the best surgeon, who is extremely knowledgeable about this condition and is kind to understand the pain you are going through and probably the most caring doctor you would ever find. I was taken into surgery two weeks ago for excision of endometrioma and endometriosis. Post surgery I feel much better, like something heavy had been lifted off of my body and I look forward to the pain free life. I just dont have enough words to describe how thankful I am to Dr.Vidali for believing that I deserve a much better quality of life when I had completely lost hope. I would highly recommend him to all those women who go through this. Please take his help and get a cure.
Dr Vidali has changed my life. Best doctor I have ever seen. So compassionate and educated. Him and his team are outstanding
Terrible experience. He was extremely late to our first consultation. Then the doctor appointment he said i might have mild endo after i told him i already have pcos. Did the surgery and paid thousands of dollars for him to have found no endo but he didn’t tell me that until weeks after surgery. He definitely is in it for the money and I was wasted so much time, money and mental and physical wellbeing. My issues ended up being PCOS and pelvic floor dysfunction. He takes advantage of vulnerable people
Dr. Vidali performed my exploratory endometriosis sugery. He has a fantastic bedside manor and is an excellent surgeon. Without his skills, knowledge and expertise i would not have my daughter.
I had excision surgery for my stage 4 endometriosis with De.Vidali and his team this past October and I am so thankful I chose them! I haven’t felt this good since I was in my teens (I’m 34 now)! I still have some vague symptoms here and there but I will happily take that compared to the daily extreme pain, struggle to breathe and fatigue prior to my surgery. I am able to run around with my kids and enjoy each day now! I am beyond ecstatic with this great quality of life I now have! I’m so grateful to God for Dr.Vidali and his team, they changed my life for the better! I highly recommend his expertise!
Ladies! Please be aware. Although, Dr. Vidali is a good doctor, for some reason he only operates at HOBOKEN Medical Center (Yikes). This hospital does not accept many major insurance policies. So if you were willing to pay his surgical fee out of pocket, YOU will also have to pay the hospital bill. I wasted 2 months, while in great pain, going through his process, waiting and waiting, only to be told he cannot perform surgery at HACKENSACK Medical Center at the very last minute. I was told otherwise when I first saw him. Please be aware before you become embroiled with him! His office is difficult to deal with, everything is done on email, very COLD and uncaring. He also does not return phone calls. Ladies, do your homework, there are other endo specialists in northern New Jersey, if you want to avoid the city. He also called in post surgery medication to my pharmacy that Im allergic to without talking to me. It was also disclosed on my paperwork. Worrysome.
I was not able to undergo surgery with Dr. Vidali, due to financial and logistical reasons. Regardless, he offered me a free 15min phone consult and even offered to see me in person for a free consult. He was kinda and empathetic over the phone and confidently gave me sage advice. Would recommend.
Grateful for Dr. Vidali making the online phone consult process easy and clear. I needed a second opinion on my long-term medication management and he was great!
There is no better endo/fertility specialist than Dr.Vidali.Always so caring, compassionate truthful and honest. Has always looked out for my best interest every time I have asked for advise. His experience is like no other. Very thankful.
Dr. Vidali gave me my life back! He is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon, and I’ll be forever grateful for his expert care.
Dr. Vidali is thorough and easy to talk to. He was able to answer all of my questions and is willing to work with me remotely. Highly recommend!
I truly believe that Dr. Vidali and his team have helped me get my life back. So thankful for their expertise and capability to treat endometriosis at its worst.
Very knowledgeable doctor who doesnt believe in unnecessary procedures. Educates you about your options and takes time to evaluate pros and cons of every option. Very approachable. I will definitely recommend his pregmune program if planning to conceive.
Office staff were very helpful with prompt replies and Dr Vidali was able to provide the resources I needed to connect with quality care close to home
Highly recommended expert in endometriosis and this is what you need when having this disease, plus I had all the answers to my queries about it in no time.
Best decision ever. Thank you, Dr. Vidali.
I have 4 beautiful babies thanks to Dr Vidali.
He’s only in this for the money. he belittled and undermined my pain and i left his office crying. DONT SEE HIM!!!
Dr vidali helped me with honest advice.
This Doctor is a joke since he was “ fertility “ doctor !
A wonderful caring physician and true expert in endometriosis
I had surgery with Dr Vidali on 11/01. I cant believe the result =)! He told me I was going to have a new life, and it really is. Spectacular. My excision and hysterectomy surgery was very difficult (and impossible for others) but the doctor and his team are so well trained that they made me feel like it was all simple and could be solved. They understand everything about this disease and I felt very safe from the first moment I saw him. It is really important to go to the experts when you have endometriosis and I cant imagine anything better than Dr Vidali and his team. Even if you are far away, I recommend you travel, I did it and I can say that it is worth it. Thanks for everything from Uruguay
Dr Vidali is an expert in pathologies such as endometriosis with high human quality. I greatly appreciate your opinion and guidance!
Excellent professional, humane and helpful
