The rest of the Manhattan Medical Arts team was wonderful as well. I barely waited and everything billing wise was made clear to me. The customer support specialist is incredible on the phone. Their app is also super helpful and user friendly. Finally, to top it all off, the office is modern and beautiful! Can’t recommend this place enough
I recently started attending Manhattan Medical Arts with Dr. Silva at Forest Hills . So far I’ve had nothing but good experiences . I feel comfortable with the staff and mainly with the doctor as well. He’s a great doctor and will go out of his way for you. Wait time is also not long usually no more than 20 minutes since I’ve been going. I’m very happy with their services.
Dr. Sara Naiim was amazing ! I was able to get a same day appointment and when I had trouble accessing my link I was able to contact someone from their office easily! They were a tremendous help in answering any of my questions. Special thanks to Alex was a huge help and very chipper on the phone. It always nice to hear a friendly and helpful voice. Absolutely amazing, I had been worried about finding a new doctor for a while but once I saw the reviews for Manhattan medical arts I decided to give them a try. I should have came to them sooner! They made me feel comfortable, heard, and important. They addressed all of my concerns and followed up multiple times to make sure I didn’t have any additional questions. Dr. Hanif was personable and reassuring. I am used to feeling rushed with doctors but Dr. Hanif never made me feel that way. She instead took the time to get to know me and my health concerns.
Ive had a great experience with this office. Harry is very informative, knowledgeable, communicative, and timely. He keeps me updated and I really do appreciate that. The doctors are very involved, follow-up with me on any concerns Ive brought up, and are knowledgeable as well. The office is flexible, clean, and I do appreciate the quality of care Ive received here.

I have major anxiety about going to the doctor, even for an annual physical. After searching for a new PCP, I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Hanif who is kind, thorough and made me feel at ease.The same goes for Dr. Ehrich who took great care and time to explain everything going on and all tests Id be taking. Finding doctors who are not rushing and who take the time to make sure patients are comfortable and make the effort to explain can be hard to find and I feel very lucky to have found wonderful doctors.
I did USCIS exam here and got a great experience.Harry gave me prompt help and answer all my questions before the appointment. Doctor Naeem is very patient and professional. She knows well about the process and details of this exam. The ma’am at the reception is also very kind.The most amazing part is during vaccine injection and blood tests. I have many experiences before in different countries. But Kelly must be the top!! I felt completely no hurts. She is so good and experienced.👍
The best medical office I have ever been to! The staff were extremely helpful- both the call center and receptionists were amazing. From the moment I booked my appointment, the staff were great at communicating with me and being very understanding when it came to having to reschedule. I was able to get an appointment right away, and Dr. Crystal Chong was amazing as well. I felt very comfortable and left feeling reassured that I was in good care. They were even flexible with scheduling my follow up appointment. This medical office has primary care physicians that specialize in other practices as well, so I will be sticking with them moving forward. My experience was 10/10.

I visited Dr Syra Hanif for the first time recently and had a great experience. I felt like my doctor was very present during my appointment and gave full attention. Confident that Dr’s medical advice was accurate.Front desk was nice and helpful. Nurse was also nice and helpful.Area outside the office location is a bit questionable but the office itself is nice.

I have had multiple good experiences at Manhattan Medical Arts for sick visits, women’s health annual visits, and annual physical visits. Provider Akeilia Thompson is professional, helpful, and kind. She always answers all of my questions. Ben calls and texts with appointment reminders and follow ups, and has helped me to schedule and reschedule appointments easily. The front desk staff is always friendly, and it is easy to sign into the patient portal to see appointments and test results. I would recommend this practice to any friends.
NEVER COME HERE - DONT EVEN CONSIDERIf I could give this office and staff zero stars I would. They make patients wait 30-40 minutes minimum after your scheduled appointment no matter the occasion - I experienced it with ever primary care visit and even their cardio (Dr Ehrich) multiple times. They have called me more than once on the day of my appointment and said they can no longer meet at the scheduled time. Today I arrived at my appointment end of day and their office had decided to close early with no notification issued to me - just 24hrs after I had confirmed it with them! Their communications service SUCKS - outsourced IT that puts up a fight (or lies to your face) when you ask to speak with the front desk. I tried to stick it out with this office for over 3 years but after being disappointed by their process, service quality, and patient experience EVERY TIME enough is enough. I am going somewhere an extra 12 blocks away just to FORGET how all encompassing their shortfalls were.
I am so glad I found this place. The provider is amazing. She answers all my questions and she is very knowledgeable about my situation. The place is very clean and nice and staff are very friendly.
PA Chung really took care of me. She was so friendly and really cared for my concern and gave me reassurance. Everyone in the clinic was so welcoming and I was so happy to be accommodated for a last minute appointment on a Saturday.

Stay away of this place at all cost. They bluntly try to scam patients as much as they can. They billed me (an insane amount of money for a simple check up) and then started to send me emails and letters more than 3 months later claiming that I still had balance due (which I had already paid!). When I called them, they quickly said my balance was paid and no action was needed, without even asking for my name or invoice number... They were clearly sending these emails to see who would be stupid enough to pay twice. I sadly see older or more vulnerable people falling for this trap... Also, the service was terrible: they made me wait one hour for an appointment (that was scheduled) and the doctor saw me for a grand total of 3 minutes.
I saw a provider yesterday and was very satisfied with my visit. I find Manhattan Medical Arts to be an excellent facility. They are most helpful, efficient and sympathetic. I choose to use them rather than going to a doctor’s office
Dr. Syra Hanif & her staff have the absolute best bedside manner. It is very easy to book an appointment whether virtual or in person. You can easily text and someone will reply 24/7. There is no wait time when you arrive to your appointment so you can plan your day accordingly. The office is always very clean. At your visit Dr. Hanif actually listens to your concerns and symptoms and is open to dialogue about your potential diagnosis. This is something that is hard to come by these days most doctors do not care to see, talk, or touch you during the visit. She reviewed my exams from another specialist, who ignored my symptoms & failed to make a diagnosis that required urgent surgery. All in all, Dr. Hanif truly cares about her patients and their health. I would absolutely recommend her & her staff.

I had an appointment scheduled for 9:00, and I arrived at the office at 8:50. However, the front desk staff did not notify Dr. Syra Hanif of my arrival until 9:15. The girl at the front desk was rude. The doctor then arrived at the office at 9:25 and took an additional 5 minutes to change. At 9:30, Dr. Hanif took another patient, despite knowing that I had been waiting. No one apologized for the long wait. I have never experienced such disrespect before. I had to take 2 hours off from work and come here while fasting. In the end, I had to leave without even seeing a doctor or an assistant. I would not recommend this place or Dr. Syra Hanif to anyone. Additionally, I have a service animal that accompanies me, even to hospitals, but Dr. Syra Hanif refused it. I will be filing a claim because by law, she cannot do this.

Absolutely dismal clerical disorganization. The provider I saw was absolutely lovely and its unfortunate that shes trapped in such a mess of an office. Where to begin?- I booked a follow up for several weeks out so I could get an MRI as instructed by my provider. They put it in the system for the following day (?) and gave me problems when I went to reschedule- They decided they didnt take my insurance a week after taking my insurance, and having my insurance listed on their website and zocdoc- I booked a telehealth appointment, for which I received a link for intake and to log onto the appointment. After completing intake, I sat in the appointment awaiting my provider for a half hour before calling the front desk, who acted like they never heard of the link they had just sent me, and had the provider call me instead.- They refuse to send me an email receipt from appointments- I cancelled an appointment in the portal a week in advance (due to them no longer accepting my insurance) and am still receiving texts and emails about my upcoming appointment. they refuse to send me an email confirmation of the cancellation, which is reflecting in the portal.Absolutely disorganized scam artists trying to extract as much $ as possible from people seeking medical care.

Even though it’s a little bit of a travel for me to get there, it’s worth it! My first time going there I was experiencing really bad panic attacks and a provider by the name of Akeilia Thompson reassured me that everything would be ok. Months later I haven’t had a panic attack since. She knew exactly what to provide to get me back to myself. I am extremely grateful for her! I’m not sure if this place is a money laundering scheme but I found them on my insurance agency site, listed as people who take my insurance obviously. I went to my appointment, paid a copay, the doctors were ok and left. A week or two later, they decide they do not take my insurance and I owe them $530? Absolutely not, babe. That’s crazy lmao you can’t go back on a decision like that - I would’ve never came to you to begin with! This is absolutely a money laundering scheme or something and you should all watch out before they decide not to take your insurance and start sending debt collectors after you🫨

Y’all, I thought I was in the Twilight Zone visiting this office. A medical assistant who doesn’t know how to draw blood or take a temperature?????Moreover, Dr. Mauricio Silva, one of the center’s “leading” doctors, is incompetent and does not know much about medicine, which is sad considering he is DOCTOR (smh).There are thousands of medical offices around the city that you can find on ZocDoc or by doing a simple Google search. Terrible practice! Firstly I booked an appointment with the Doctor and instead was seen by an NP. Secondly,I was seen over 4 weeks ago and have yet to receive my blood test and urine analysis results. Honestly very ridiculous I will be taking legal action against this office because there is no way they can get away with either this type of negligence or disregard.

They agreed with me but they asked again to please remove my review becuase they have resolved issues in the past.Doctor is amazing but calling for a prescription refill or any questions is a joke because you are connected with a call center that does absolutely nothing. Dont waste your time or money. Incompetent. Did bloodwork a week ago, had a follow up appointment to discuss results, sat for over an hour past my follow up appointment waiting for the Dr. to tell me results, he comes in unapologetically and starts explaining to me how to read nutritional labels??? I tell him to just tell me the results and he says the lab never ran them and there are no results/ we have to do the blood work again. Fired them on the spot. I would give negative 5 stars if I could.

I had an appointment with them in December, for which I paid a $15 copay at the time. The mesic assistant/receptionist would not connect me to the provider for a teledoc appointment until i gave them my card information. Today, on April 1 they made an additional charge on my card and no one can explain to me why. I have been back and forth with the billing department and the customer service is awful.How hard is it to tell me why you’re charging my card when I haven’t been seen in your office in months, and if I have been seen, when did I not pay the balance prior the appointment?

SCAM! This place will bill you for services you never received. Their goal is to get as much money as they can from you and provide as little care as possible. Also, the doctor here, Dr. Silva, is homophobic and does not like serving members of the lgbtq+ community. He will not properly provide you care of you are gay. This place needs to be closed PERMANENTLY.

No one ever knows whats going on it seems... I specifically made an appointment to see one of the NPs three weeks ago and theyre telling me Ill be seeing someone totally different because she doesnt work these days... So why was I available to schedule with her AND the call center told me this was in fact her schedule...Now today I have an appointment to see Syra. I made the appointment a few days prior for 3:30PM. I then get a message informing me that shes NOT available at that time (so why does it say she is?) I then tell them that 4:00PM will work and everything is set. TODAY the day of my appointment I am seeing a different provider with absolutely no heads up and am told that Syra doesnt work today.Overall the provider I did meet with was kind, however I will definitely be changing my PCP after today and never coming here again.
The cardiologist is amazing so detailed very informative takes his time to review your results gives you the best advice and plan I like this facility a lot they have several specialist in the building and it’s very convenient 10/10

Im normally not the type to leave reviews, but yesterday I needed to get a rapid PCR test so I went here as it was one of the few places offering it. I took the test, was promised Id get a result within a half hour, and left the clinic.Big mistake.After two or so hours, I still hadnt gotten an update on the status of the test. I tried to call. Nobody picked up. I left a message. No dice. (Turns out they outsource their entire phone operation to a call center, which is absolutely insane practice for a medical practice.) I ended up having to go back in person to ask them why the result hadnt posted yet, only to get some excuse about how there was a glitch in the system. At least I got my result at that point, although given how bad the experience was, I have very low confidence in the result.The real kicker here? I paid $175 out of pocket, costs that were not made clear anywhere on their website. Im not surprised to see the other reviews here noting the predatory billing practices of this clinic; I cant even imagine what kind of bills Id be getting if I trusted these people with my primary care.

I found Dr. Mauricio Silva on ZocDoc. I have been to see him a couple of times, and am very pleased with the service, thoroughness and attention to detail he gives. It is very important to find a Dr. who listens, and who gives the patient the feeling that they really do care about your health. Dr. Silva is all of that. That may sound obvious, but was not my prior experience from my previous Primary Care Physician.When I first met the Dr., I pretty much conducted an interview as I wanted to make sure we were a fit.I must also include Jacob who is my contact in the Dr.s office. He is extremely helpful, especially when it came to having to get a prescription refill. Again, Jacobs attention to detail, and eagerness to help is stellar. And always makes follow up calls.I attend their location in Forest Hills, Queens and I can highly recommend Manhattan Medical Arts.

I wasnt even able to get seen the minute I walked in I was met with hostility from the receptionist. I walked in with an appointment she looked me up and told me I had a 100$ co-pay which is fine but when I asked about my free annual visit it seemed like a chore for her to look up then she rudely ask me what are you even here for I said I was here for my annual Checkup, She then proceeded to tell me whatever my insurance doesnt cover I would have to pay for out of pocket in a very rude tone. I then told her to cancel my appointment as if the first person I talk to at a doctor office treats me badly for just asking a question is not a place I would want to go to when Im not feeling well.
I found Dr. Mauricio Silva through Zocdoc and everything went fine until it was the day of the video call. The practice called to confirm my appointment. At 10:00 am, he never shows for the video game. I gave him until 10:20 am and called the office to ask what was going on. They told me that he was wrapping up with a patient and would call me in 2 minutes. Its now 10:46 am and I have not received a phone call nor has he joined the video call. Highly unprofessional and not a good first impression.

The AI generated call did not work properly, right after I texted the number I got a call from him and I was able to get my appointment rescheduled. When I needed anything, they responded quickly and helped me, such as Joel who helped me over the phone. PA Chrystal Chung was very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

THEY ARE DEFINITELY PADDING THEIR RATING WITH RANDOM 5 STAR REVIEWS TO COMPENSATE FOR THE 1 STAR REVIEWS THEY’RE RECEIVING FROM REAL PATIENTS.Manhattan Medical Arts does not run as a medical practice providing adequate patient care— it runs as a business making as much money as possible from insurance companies. Your medical needs will not be met, your wallet will be drained, and you will have an impossible time getting in contact with a medical professional or admin if you have ANY question or anything related to your prescriptions BECAUSE THEY OUTSOURCE ALL COMMUNICATIONS TO A CALL CENTER!! No reputable medical practice does that.Because of this major gap in communication, it took 3 WEEKS to get them to transfer my prescription to a new pharmacy. They only took action after I put my foot down and would not let the call center dismiss me off the phone any longer. The delayed action is completely unacceptable, especially when it comes to medication management.Additionally, they would not write me a script until I did an echocardiogram. So I had one done at their office ($65). The follow up CALL (not an in-office visit) to review my echo results and get my script written was $30, but they didn’t have my results ready so no script was sent to a pharmacy. I basically spent $30 for nothing. Another follow up CALL was scheduled for when the results would for sure be in and they wanted another $30 for a call!! Absolutely not. And surprise— the echo results were still not in. At this point the NP just writes a script without the echo results. So the question here is if the echo was even necessary?It’s been 5 weeks since I’ve done my echo and still have not had my result released on my portal. $95 spent for a test that I don’t have the results to and a useless follow up call. (Please advocate for your results to be released in your patient portal and only schedule a follow up visit if there is a value out of range!!! Otherwise no follow up is needed. That is standard practice in the medical community. I only scheduled a follow up because I needed my prescription written.) Never have I had a practice bill me for a phone call or heard of a mandatory follow up (that you will pay for)to review test results that aren’t out of range.Additionally, they’re billing me for a test done during my annual physical when everything done during that visit is covered. And of course I wrote an email to their billing department with, surprise, absolutely no response from them.My experience at this disgrace of a medical practice has been a major inconvenience and the medical director of this practice needs to take notes from the reviews and restructure her practice to provide adequate patient care and not a scam of a medical practice making money off of insurance.PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS NIGHTMARE AND LOOK FOR MEDICAL CARE ELSEWHERE

Really great experience from Alissa(SP) to NP Akeilia Thompson, both were so very thorough, kind and I appreciate that an EKG and a pulmonary function test were offered as part of my annual physical. I haven’t had those tests offered before, I’m really glad that they did. I arrived early for my appointment and was seen 5 minutes after my appointed time. The facility including the bathroom is clean, modern and vibrant. Wait times to be seen weren’t incredibly long, once in the examination room Alissa the medical assistant arrived within 5 minutes and asked all routine questions and explained why each lab was done. She was really warm and professional. Total time for the physical from arrival to the examination room until end was about 1 hour 30 minutes. Overall a great experience, I’m more than happy to assign NP Thompson as my PCP going forward. Thank you Manhattan Medical Arts!

I visited this office today after making an appointment on zoc doc and saw Dr. Silva. I barely waited 5 minutes to be called in. Dr. Silva was nice and so the nurse but I’m very very thankful for Ben at the front desk (I think) the medication I was originally prescribed wasn’t covered by my insurance and he made sure to get the doctor to send a new prescription asap. I’m thankful for everyone in this office being sick sucks but when there’s help it’s manageable.
I had called to check my Test results from my Annual Physical but for some reason could not get on the portal. I called and Jacob ( working with Dr. Hanif) resent the link. That still did not work and when I called back, he carefully emailed all my results one after the other. I really appreciate that. Thank you Jacob for your kindness and patience.

STAY AWAY AND FROM THIS UNETHICAL MEDICAL PRACTICE. And dont let their nice responses to bad reviews fool you. They never respond to emails or actually try to address the concerns.Echoing the many other real patients at this facility, I can attest that Manhattan Medical Arts is a money making scheme first, and a medical provider second.I went for a standard annual physical, which should be 100% covered by my insurance. I even verified this with the check-in staff when I arrived.So I was surprised to receive a bill for nearly $300 a few weeks later. After MONTHS of back and forth with MMAs billing department, during which I was repeatedly assured that this was an error that they would resolve, I finally spoke with someone at my insurance company who informed me that MANHATTAN MEDICAL ARTS PERFORMED SEVERAL UNNECESSARY TESTS THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE STANDARD ANNUAL PHYSICAL, AND ARE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE.The MMA provider did not inform me that any of the procedures she was conducting would create additional costs for me.Moreover, they informed me that I would receive the results via phone call from the provider. Right before the call, the operator told me that they would charge me $70 for the provider to read my test results to me, which I promptly declined, since they had not informed me of this charge when scheduling the appointment. Following this, it took THREE WEEKS of consistent follow-up until my lab results were posted in the online portal. So either they withheld my results, or they didnt even have them when they scheduled the call. Unbelievably, a week later they charged me a $70 no-show fee.Based on the many reviews and complaints they have received about these same issues, its obvious that MMA is aware of these issues and intentionally continuing to exploit patients.
I spoke with Ben on the phone several times and hes been helpful throughout the entire process. There was no wait time and emails/links were sent accordingly. All my questions were answered quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much for your patience and help, Ben!
I can already imagine this place will provide great services ! Thanks for Jacob for being so phenomenal! He provided great patient assistance and made sure to call almost and hour before hand . As I previously had a bad experience with a Bronx urgent care whom failed to follow up with a call at a reasonable time ( almost 3 mins before the actual appointment time ) and disconnected the call. If you can only imagine how agitated I was ! Not only that it wasn’t even a way to even return the call! Avoiding the patient booking no call no show ! Well played ! However, Thanks Jacob for soothing my anxiety , stress no furthermore ! I can’t wait until my actual visit , I’m sure it will only be another bonus for the team ! …. (Less than and hour later ) My visit with Akeilia Thompson, NP was amazing! She was very attentive and had great suggestions and recommendations! I highlyRecommend!

Regret coming here for primary care -- they hit me with a surprise bill of $2000 for services they told me would be $175. When I had my virtual appointment to go over results of lab work, they failed to have the results and never returned my calls, put me on hold for over an hour and I never actually received the results for the exam they surprise billed me with.When I tried to connect with them about the billing, I was unable to get in touch with an actual human.Overpriced and negligent health care practice. Really disappointed.
I had a virtual appointment with NP Thompson and felt so comfortable talking to her about ny issue. She wasnt trying to rush me and was very attentive on trying to understand how to help me. Im more confident in going in office for an appointment considering doctors make me anxious sometimes. The customer service is also great. I saw that some reviews mentioned poor service but that wasnt my experience. I had my questions answered and all my intake forms I filled out online verified. First of all DO NOT BELIEVE any 5 star reviews because nowadays you can buy reviews from advertising companies,,But believe the real experience of patient and try to feel if its real reviews or fake reviews, I don’t write based on 1 patient experience but on many people that i know who try that mafia place1- if you go for simple medical reason they will force you to do so many things not related to that reason just to make money!!!2- they will ask you to must make another appointment in 2 weeks to continue the process and follow up!!!3- if you need to call for a any reason regarding the visit or medication you will never get hold of them and if so they hang up in your face!4- if you schedule appointment and you canceled it for any emergency reasons they will bill you cancellation fee and they depend on your signature and credit card on file!!!!!5- most if not all of their doctors have no experience at all and they never listen to you, you will not get better on the medication, look at their schedule they always have availability because no one comes back only if you can’t find a doctor!!6- they have multiple locations all same way .
This place is an absolute scam and has the most awful service I have ever experienced. They refused to release my bloodwork, refused to refill my prescription, did not respond to online messages or phone calls, and also charged me every time I called them.I came for a free checkup about a month ago and everything went well there. However, they would not release my blood test results until I called them to set up an appointment, and when I called in for the appointment, they told me that the phone call would cost $20. I argued with them about this and told them to please release my bloodwork results on the online portal, which they did, but they still charged me for the appointment. Afterwards, I attempted to get my medications refilled, but got no response from their online portal or from calling or texting their phone number. Moreover, every time I called them, I was charged $20. Someone only called me back once after I called five times in a row, and it was someone who very clearly worked at a call center and was unfamiliar with the doctors.I would give this place 0 stars if possible.
Update 12/29/2023: Missed a call from billing, called 4 times on 3 separate business days (on 3 separate weeks) to try and follow up, was told Id be called back again - was not. Ended up just paying the last $35 out of frustration from this still being on the back of my mind, not being able to address it, and not wanting it to go to Collections with how long itd been taking. The way it was charged and the situation of what it was charged for is predatory. My advice: If you decide to go here as a patient, then make sure to not only ask about but get an answer for the cost of every. single. thing. before they do it for you. Afterwards, there is -no- swift resolution by contacting their billing dept as they write and claim on here for everyone to see.----------------------As with all the reviews below, I ALSO do NOT recommend coming here. Good providers but also got hit with the surprise cost. AND they will not release your blood test results online on your patient portal until you schedule a follow-up call with the provider --- which will cost you another visits copay. In my case, it was another $35.They offer texting their clinic number to reach them more easily, as calling them may be a little more difficult to reach. I appreciated this idea at first.*However* if you ask about medication renewal (birth control) via texting their clinic, then they will bill it as a visit with your provider. I just messaged their clinic to dispute it - will see how it goes, as other another review just pointed to their dispute being fruitless.The explanation for this charge on the patient portal lists it as: Telephone evaluation and management service by a physician or other qualified health care professional who may report evaluation and management services provided to an established patient, parent, or guardian not originating from a related e/m service provided within the previous 7 days nor leading to an e/m service or procedure within the next 24 hours or soonest available appointment;11-20 minutes of medical discussion.Cool.Be mindful of any tests they add on during your annual checkup, which youve never had before at a checkup at any other doctors offices, as they will provide it without any acknowledgement of whether there is any additional cost to your visit with it. Spirometry test (checking your breathing by blowing into a tube), EKG, etc.Was going to let my frustrations pass and just change practices after my new patient visit. But with this new charge reminding me of the frustrations... here is my review. My providers (Dr. Syra Hanif and NP Akeilia Thompson) were very nice, friendly, informational - I was a fan! But this business aspect of it will not have me returning.
I’ve had a really great experience working with the providers at Manhattan Medical. My overall health has improved in a number of aspects - physical, mental, emotional. The care team is incredibly personable and understanding. I feel no judgement whatsoever. Would definitely recommend them for a primary care provider - NP Thompson especially.

I discovered Dr. Hanif during the pandemic when my allergies required supervision for covid vaccinations. She was attentive and very caring during the 2 hour required observation. Her level of care and that of her staffers, like Joel and Ben, are the best. I chose Dr. Hanif as my primary care physician because she gives 100% to me as her patient -- no question is unanswered and I feel confident that every test or procedure I need will be approved. This is a fine practice!
I have been going to Manhattan Medical Arts for 3 years now. The doctors are competent and staff is friendly but to my surprise this year, there was some hidden costs and huge amounts to pay not cover by insurance for the exact same service. For the past 2 years my insurance has been the same and covered the same amount but this year, my bill was 300% more than last year and there was little to no explanation on why it was so expensive. I tried to discuss this with the billing department but they are difficult to reach (on purpose) and not very cooperative. I will not be going back.
After receiving an unexpected bill for routine lab work, the office has been totally unhelpful with trying to resolve the bill. Ive called weekly over 3 months and every time they say they will deal with it and follow up and each time they dont call me back and the lab has confirmed they did not recieve any communication on my behalf. This is outrageous for standard blood work that I have received several times before with no incident. Would rate 0 stars if I could, dont go here!
I DID NOT LISTEN TO ALL 1 STAR REVIEWS, NOW I AM PAYING THE PRICEI dont need to add more information to this. Read all the 1 star reviews. The long story short is that this place will scam you with unnecessary exams or tests to upcharge your insurance and, consequentially, you when the insurance refuses to pay.If you are here for a yearly physical, say no to as many tests as possible. A lot of those are not necessary. For example, they will charge north of $200 for a spirometry test that is ONLY recommended for people who has signs of lung problems. NOT MY CASE, probably not yours. Well, here they do it anyway just to bill for this test. They do not present any test as optional nor they give you any warning that you might have to pay extra for tests...Also, for routine blood work, you might also get a separate bill from their lab. It is insane how much their charge.Finally, for vaccines, just go to CVS, Costco, or another place your insurance supports. They also upcharge vaccines and the vaccine administration.

I am extremely disappointed with the services I received from Manhattan Medical Arts clinic. My experience with this clinic has been nothing short of a nightmare.Moreover, its concerning that the clinic scheduled my initial appointment, then required me to schedule another appointment to receive my results, and then when I asked why I wasnt treated for my abnormal results, I was informed me that I needed to schedule yet another appointment for treatment based on those results. This approach not only wasted my time and money but also delayed my treatment, which can be detrimental to my health.Adding on, I was shocked to find out that the clinic had overcharged me for procedures that I had no knowledge about, did not ask for, and did not authorize. Its unacceptable for any medical facility to engage in such deceitful and unethical behavior. I trusted this clinic to provide me with quality care and transparency in all financial matters, but they have completely violated that trust.Furthermore, the clinic continuously charged my card without my knowledge, which is completely unacceptable. They did not communicate these charges with me, nor did they seek my permission before charging my card. To make matters worse, they charged me an additional fee when my card was blocked or denied, which is completely immoral and illegal.Despite my attempts to resolve this matter with the clinic, almost 7 months later, I am still receiving random bills for procedures that I never received. This is extremely frustrating and disheartening, and it shows that the clinic has no regard for the value of my time and the financial burden it has placed on me.In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Manhattan Medical Arts clinic for any medical services. They engage in unprofessional and unethical behavior, lack transparency with patients, and have no regard for the financial impact their actions have on their patients. I would recommend seeking legal assistance if you have been a victim of their overcharges and unapproved procedures.

Wish I could give no stars at all! Hope you read this before going through the stress of dealing with this place like I have. Im currently still dealing with their nonsense. They charge for every little thing but getting in contact is a problem. Good luck getting anyone on the phone. I was charged for visits that havent even occurred. They illegally keep records of payment information and charge credit cards without authorization. Nor do they contact you that you were charged. Dealing with this doctors office feels like a scam.If you need paperwork filled out, get it done while there or theyll never give it to you. Ive been waiting on them to fill out one simple form for weeks and still havent received it. Theyve asked for more information from me that they need, I provide it and still nothing. How they continue to receive patients is beyond me. Again, good luck because youre going to need it.

I had a very easy appointment. Mr Jacob helped to make my appointment smooth. He was very helpful and was very happy to answer my questions. Overall I had a great experience.

Had an initial appointment, the doctor didnt ask many questions or dig into my issue much. follow up appointment i paid up front for a procedure, then waited 45+ minutes before the doctor came in, thinking i had received it. she spoke to me for 5 minutes (including about weight loss injections and supplements, which were not why i was there) then went to find out about my procedure. i waited another 15 minutes before leaving - no apology from reception when i explained. i canceled my rescheduled appointment and called several times for a refund with no response. ultimately had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. do not go here.
I have recently had two major issues with Dr. Hanif’s office, despite me being a patient there for two years. On June 5, 2023 I had a physical in which I received a Covid booster. To date, no records of this booster was reported to the.NY State Board of Health and the office has told me they are unable to report my booster despite receiving procedures from the Board of Health. Worse than this, I called on Sept 29 and left a message that I tested positive for Covid, had symptoms, and requested a prescription for Plaxlovid. That message was never returned, nor were subsequent phone calls to find out why. I was eventually told that if I wanted to communicate with the doctor or office, I would have to leave a message on their patient portal. I left several, and these were never answered. Further phone calls resulted in no satisfaction on either issue, and I was told Dr. Hanif would only communicate with me if I scheduled a for-fee teleMed appointment, which I did not need. I am no longer confident that Manhattan Medical Arts has any concern for its patients and will not return to this office for care.
First of all big shout out to Customer Service Ben and Jacob for awesome assistance and making sure every appointment should be on time with all answered questions I had , Bravo to those guys for being so Attentive..Another thing Facility is crystal clear , stuff amazing with very friendly attitude , MD is amazing she listens to you and you feel that she cares and understands you , Didn’t have a chance to talk to NP Thompson for a long time but we had short conversations and can Say she is amazing person, I like her Energy, Thanks a lot to Radiological Tech she mad cool too ,And eventually)) the biggest thanks to my Fav PA Chung I can’t even express appreciation to her , thanks for being such a friendly and nice person, Thanks for understanding, listening , answering all my questions and thanks for believing in me and providing care I wanted, I can say this is my primary care facility already and always going to visit them in the future …This review may sound OD but I am talking from the bottom of my heart 😁😁🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 My first Google review ever ,bc I don’t really do reviews and type thingies but this time I had to say all above mentioned Because they do deserve it 😁
As a medical provider, I can assure you that this office does not care about their patients and ONLY cares about making the most amount of money. It is very upsetting to see an office take advantage of patients who do not have health literacy and trust anything a provider says. For example, they routinely order Echocardiograms for patients every 2-3 years on any medication in any age group. This office is a SCAM, please do NOT go here.
Oh wow, where to begin. firstly, if you have an appointment with this office, I would call and make sure that you’re going to see the actual physician. Because I thought I was, and I paid my deductible, and the physician was not present at my first appointment. Her staff is curt and unwelcoming, and her tech couldn’t find the vein in my arm despite it popping out of my skin. It was the most painful blood drawing I’ve ever experienced. It took several schedule appointments after my first one to actually see the physician. Several appointments were ignored and forgotten by their office.Little did I know I would actually be thankful that I hadn’t had to see her. The first time I went in— physician’s bedside manner is nonexistent. I can hardly believe the way she treated me, I was just coming in to get her expertise and advice and hopefully some medication. She would barely let me speak, belittled me to no end, told me I didn’t understand anything she was saying when I was just asking questions trying to make sure I was getting the right treatment. She wouldn’t call me in another month of the medication that her colleague prescribed me, so that now I have to go to a whole separate practice and pay more fees just to get back on the same medication. She didn’t care at all that I’d already been on this medication (and that it was prescribed by her practice)for a month, and that getting off and on another one would be an upheaval to my system. A doctor should care first and foremost about the health of their patient, not their ego. She is truly awful and I wouldn’t wish this medical experience on anyone.
Getting a hold of the front office is close to impossible. However, they do offer a texting-service to ask any questions you have. Harryson, the person on the other line was EXTREMELY helpful. He even called me to make sure I got my forms in time and really went above and beyond.The main problem I had was the general cleanliness of the office/clinic. While the waiting room was clean enough, everywhere else was pretty gross... maybe even filthy? There was questionable drips running down the walls of the exam room, the bathroom was sticky and had brown splatter everywhere, the doors were supposed to be white but were brown/black due to everyone touching them?? Idk. Super gross.Update- like other reviews warned… they kept charging me for random tests & appointments months after my visit. I was able to get it refunded though.

My doctor, Dr. Syra Hanif was knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had.Overall, I would highly recommend Manhattan Medical Arts to anyone in need of medical care. The staff is friendly and professional, the facilities are top-notch, and the quality of care is truly exceptional.
