Dr. Edward Loscalzo and the team at Northwell Health Urgent Care are exceptional—professional, compassionate, and welcoming. From start to finish, my husband and I felt completely at ease, and their meticulous care made me feel truly valued.
Booked an X-ray appointment for an injured wrist. Tried calling a total of four times to confirm that I would be able to get the X-ray done at the appointment, despite the booking confirming the X-ray. No one answered or called back. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that the technician was out and that I could not get the X-ray done. If you are not available to speak to patients, at least make important information available. Otherwise you show no respect for my time as a patient, end up being deceitful about the services provided and end up cheating patients and insurance providers.
Signed up for an appointment in the month and showed up a few minutes early to end up waiting an hour. After 30 mins of waiting the rude receptionist with horrible communication skills(talking over people) told me they are backed up. Maybe she should have informed me this before charging my copay in advance and letting me sit down to wait. This use to be my go-to location but clearly they are run down, understaffed and mismanaged.
The experience at the office was fine however trying to communicate with them about sending my prescription was awful. The provider confirmed with me before I left that it was sent to my desired pharmacy. When I showed up they hadn’t received it. I called the office multiple times and on two separate occasions someone confirmed the meds were sent to my desired pharmacy. I wait an hour and 45 mins only to have the pharmacist tell me the meds were sent to a totally different pharmacy I had never even been to. I ended up paying out of pocket for the medication because the provider never cancelled the original order and had to do a verbal to have it filled at the pharmacy was at. This has left me incredibly frustrated all while being sick and needing antibiotics. Never going back.
Everyone was absolutely lovely, caring and extremeely kind. The PA was knowledgeable about cuts and bruises from a fall and was careful and took an x ray and gave me a tetanus shot. the staff was eqully kins. tHANK YOU ONE AND ALL XXXX
Northwell Health is my go-to urgent care. From reception to when the doctor saw me, they could not have been nicer, more professional and helpful. I highly recommend them! Especially the one located on 1st Avenue on the UES!
Amazing experience. Walked-in, and had no issues. Front desk lady was incredibly helpful and so nice. PA was kind and informative. Will only be going here from now on!
It was easy to set up, the staff was very helpful and the doctor was attentive and gave me great information. I would use your service again in a heartbeat!
I think the Doctor was wonderful and answered all my questions. I felt my experience was very positive and I would highly recommended this urgent care.
I was taken care of quickly, professionally and with great care , for a dog bite. I would recommend Northwell Urgent care facility without hesitation.
This location is about 10 blocks from where I live but worth the visit I liked it much better than a competitor that provides urgent medical care. It was very clean and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The medical assistant and Doctor were very clear in their explanations. Overall a very good experience and the wait was not long.
Acknowledging the fact I was a walk, and even though I had a 90 minute wait, it was well worth the wait as the newly graduated doctor and his experienced mentor physician were superb in their diagnosis and treatment.Thank you!!
The physician assistant (A.Seidman) who examined and helped our son on 1/20 & 1/21 was great. Very thorough and so helpful!! She made a huge difference in helping him feel better and in his recovery. It also was great that we were able to make a same day appointment and we had zero wait time when we arrived. The office is clean and all the staff were lovely and helpful.
Worst urgent I’ve ever been to. Scheduled an appointment and still waited an hour. They were lazy and provided no updates or even checked to see what the hold up was. Never coming here again.
Check in was easy, didnt wait very long and was seen shortly by medical tech followed by the doctor. Staff were professional and courteous. Facility was neat and clean. Discharge instructions were simple and clear. Thank you!
The guy that checked me in was about the nicest person I’ve ever encountered and he had that energy with everyone that came in the door. Doctor that treated me was also great, informative and made me feel better about an injury. In and out in 20 minutes as well
I was treated very well by the staff. The doctor, Dr. L..., was the quintessential doctor. He was professional and knowledgeable. He also had an incredible personality. I will recommend him to all of my relatives and friends.
Got me in 7 minutes after my schedule appointment! Efficient and listened and produced. I cant ask for anything better.
Excellent advice from doctor; staff helpful and supportive; streamlined check in
Everyone that works here is the nicest person in the world. The front desk attendant, the nurses, the doctors, they are all so nice and helpful! They always make sure I fully understand my symptoms and why I have them so they can help the best that they can. They also have tea and a hot water machine in the waiting room. It is a great place and the wait is never long.
You can book a time slot online. Short wait time. Doctor took time to explain everything.
The doctor and staff were professional and courteous. Great experience!
Dr Ed and everyone on the team could not have been more thorough, compassionate, and professional.
Such a fabulous experience. I had a little wait (about 20 minutes) but doctor was fantastic. I got Xrayed by a technician on the spot having swallowed a dental bridge a couple of weeks before and doctor was able to tell me where it was in my system right away and how long it would take to get out. Doctor was so friendly! Highly recommend! This place takes a lot of different insurances!
I came in to Northwell gohealth for throat issues. I reported to Megan Greger what I was feeling and how difficult the pain was that it was hard to eat, sleep or drink water. I have had this issue before so I told her what I had. She IGNORED what I said and belittled it to a sore throat. I even asked her again when she said she doesnt see anything- You dont see anything?! to which she replied no. She said not every sore throat is what I had before. She belittled my symptoms to nothing and I already knew she was wrong because I can feel the large swelling to which she apparently could not see. A child could see that I had swelling so I was so upset. She wasted my time and money for the visit. She told me to wait until I was drooling when I asked her what to do when it gets worse as she refused to treat me accordingly. That is so inappropriate. If I wait for my issue to get worse, it could be life threatening. I am not sure why she wasted my time nor could not see. She needs glasses. She wrote the address to an ENT on a napkin!! and sent me off. She did not document swelling. That ENT did not take walkins like she said. The next day she caused me to call out of work again as she did not treat me and it got much worse and I was drooling like she so badly hoped for. She caused me to take more time and money out after feeling more pain to get the care I actually needed somewhere else where they clearly saw what I had and gave me my medication in minutes. She was very dismissive and thought I was being paranoid. I have pictures right after she saw me to show that it is VERY evident what I had. Im not understanding why I had to go to two different urgent cares in two days because the first one did not do her job. I almost feel like race has a play because again it was very obvious I had swelling and she did not care. This is why Americas healthcare is so bad. What is the point of even having a practice?
I was told to take ibuprofen for my fever and cough medicine which my insurance didnt cover. That turned out to be a blessing because I had pneumonia. This was the wrong medical protocol. I was told I had an acute respiratory infection that was viral. However viral pneumonia turns into bacterial pneumonia. This was in May.. I still had pneumonia in August. Thanks to my pulmonologist, Im getting better.
I went in, got a PCR Covid test, and they told me they would call me with the results the next day… they did not. However, I did get a call the day after that, telling me the sample leaked during transport to the lab and they lost it… Seriously? Also, they told me that if I wait a few days to come back in and retake it, I’d have to pay a co-pay again. In what world is that fair, or professional to mention? It’s also worth noting there’s seemingly no system for the queue of who gets seen first. I had made an appointment online, and folks who did Walk In and came in after me were seen by the doctor before me (because they registered before me, even though the woman at the front desk originally told me I was all set and registered… then later found out I wasn’t).
The doctors tend to be great but their nurse staff is despicable. The front desk nurses are generally very rude. I even had a nurse insist I get a Covid test against my will until a doctor came in and told her she was out of line and that I don’t even have Covid symptoms. Turned out to be a sinus infection. Why are unqualified people working here, harassing customers?
It was such a great experience! Professional, friendly and I felt very comfortable and safe! I also got my results so quickly, sooner than expected. They also contacted my physician who had recommended your location. She called me because she heard from them and I told her how pleased I was that she had recommended this location. These are certainly very stressful times and it was great that I could go somewhere that made it all so seamless and made me feel so safe! Ive since recommended it to others who felt the same way.
Short waiting time. Was well cared for. Pleasant staff.
The staff were very professional and welcoming, the provider has an excellent bedside manner, he was extremely thorough, and was able to explain the nature of my illness. In a way I was able to understand. I was quite impressed with his attention to detail and had a sense that he was genuinely concerned with my health. Thank you Team @ Northwell healthE. 81st St. Urgent care.
I rarely write reviews but this place was wonderful. I went in last minute for a rapid covid test and was swiftly checked in by a kind receptionist. The nurse I had was incredibly sweet and accommodating- I wish I could remember her name! They have an on site lab so I was in and out within a half hour despite there being a line! I newly moved to the city and was so blown away by the care and level of professionalism I was met with at this Urgent Care.
Went there as I cut myself very badly and the guy did a great job stitching me up… But when I went back out the stitches out they didn’t have time they were rude and the woman at the desk couldn’t get off her phone long enough to help me. This is what you call good health. Try to make an appointment to get the stitches out and they’re booked up so actually my dentist took them out of my finger as they were well ready to come out. Don’t Go there they don’t know what they’re doing.
I needed an emergency visit, I was seen right away, Dr. Edward Loscalzo gave me a thorough physical exam, sent me for tests and prescribed medication after receiving the results. Very happy with this office of GoHealth, highly recommended!
I have been to this location a few times and never had issues until my visit yesterday. I made a 5:45 PM appointment for a Covid test. I arrived around 5:40 PM and the receptionist told me they were very busy and it would be 20 to 25 minutes. After waiting over half an hour I asked if I would be seen anytime soon and was told it would be another hour or hour and a half and “it had been like this all day.“ When I incredulously confirmed that all of a sudden the wait had shot up by an hour+, the receptionist became very rude with me and told me “we’re not just a swab and go facility“. I was very confused because I did not see one other person while I was there and staff were walking around like they had nowhere to be. I made a comment that there didn’t seem to be any other patients there and she said to me very rudely “how do you know there’s no one else here?“ I never write negative reviews but I was put off by her rude attitude. If they had truly been running behind the entire day, I either should’ve been called or told when I arrived it would be two hours past my appointment time before I could be seen. Or, when they realize the wait was going to be much longer than they had originally told me, they should’ve told me instead of just leaving me to sit there and wait until I asked. I will not be coming back.
Slovenly run. NO sense of urgency.Disorganized. Better be healthy and patient (no pun intended)I could not retrieve the results of my tests from your website. I kept running into a dead end. I had to walk back to the clinic to pick them up. I also asked your nurse to fax them to my surgeon as this was a preoperative covud test. She said she would put a note on the chart but as I suspected, it wasnt done so I had to fax them myself. I also waited too long to get the test done when at your walk in clinic on 1st Ave and 81st in Manhattan. I had to complain before someone saw me and there was no one else there
Do not go here especially if you need an x-ray! They texted me asking if I needed an x-ray before my appointment, I responded yes. Right before my appt they said the x-ray tech was sick. I asked the front desk (in person) when there would be another tech in, they said the next day so I rescheduled and came back the next day. They happily took my co-pay then when I when in the PA told me they don’t even do x-rays at that location. They sent me to another place for an x-ray. Before going I asked if I would have to pay another co-pay and the urgent care told me no. I did have to pay another one. I don’t know if the front desk is knowingly lying to collect co-pays or they are all that misinformed about the services they provide but it was a nightmare of an experience and a waste of money.
This was one of the most friendly and helpful medical staff I have ever encounter. They were the epitome of professionals. I went in for the COVID test and they talked me through all of it. The nurses we kind and friendly. And the doctor took time to talk to me afterwards and never made me feel rushed. He answered every question honestly and it was very informative. I will definitely go back to this location for any of my family’s future urgent care needs.
Dr. McCall was gracious and professional. The staff was also very accommodating.
As a visitor here, caring for an infant granddaughter and concerned about covid exposure, I appreciated the complete professionalism with the way they listened to my concerns and performed the test. (First time Ive been tested). Really appreciated the prompt results and felt confident in the negative result.
Short waiting time; everyone I saw was great!
The physicians assistant was thorough & attentive.
Front desk didnt bother to ask severity of my condition, or what condition I had at all. Immediately said I needed an appointment, then said I couldnt book one in-person with him, then said the (clearly empty it was 9am) office was completely booked for the day. Urgent care does not mean -urgent- care with the front desk.Called the next closest urgent care, of course they accept walk-ins because thats the entire point of urgent care.Save your time if youre experiencing anything that needs immediate attention.
Physician assistant, Megan Gregor review update today 1 starI had a terrible experience today at urgent care with physician assistant, Megan, Greger, and I see there are other bad reviews for her.I had a stinging sore throat congestion in my chest, my voice was affected, and I told her straight out that I thought I needed an antibiotic. She didn’t give me that sorrow and exam didn’t really look closely at my throat and said my chest was clear. She prescribed some over-the-counter medicines to cover up the effects, but not help get rid of the problem. Went home and slept for two hours and woke up coughing afraid I couldn’t stop. Now I was coughing up deep, yellow mucus, and I went back and showed the receptionist. She consulted with Megan Gregor and she wanted me to wait around for an hour to get a chest x-ray before they would consider giving me an antibiotic. I felt too sick to wait around and now I’m gonna have to go to another Urgent care tomorrow. I forgot to mention when I went in I told him I knew it wasn’t Covid because I tested myself But they insisted on giving me a Covid test anyway. My impression of this place has changed and I’m utterly disgusted.Xxxxxx dr Edward Loscalzo 5 starsI had a fall in the street and twisted my ankle. I was afraid it was a broken bone. I went to the 81 st location. They took me right away, took my vitals, and then an x-ray which did show a broken bone. The doctor gave me a very good splint ( like a removable cast) and crutches. They gave me a CD of the x-ray and a copy of the report. I was very satisfied and happy I didnt have to go to the emergency room and wait 5 hours.July 23,2023 I went back for something else and actually saw the same doctor. This is the review I left for them: I was very pleased with Sabira the nurse who took care of me for the preliminary exam and then again with Dr. Loscalzo. Both are professional and personable.
Great experience for all 3 visits to this clinic so far. The reservation system is very helpful, allowing minimal wait time. The PAs have skill sets and extensive experience to give the best diagnosis.
Nothing short of amazing !The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly , very quick check in .The medical assistant was very accommodating and also friendly , she noticed i had a migraine and turned the lights , which helped tremendously. The Doctor listened and was very empathetic , told me what meds he would be prescribing and why .I wouldn’t hesitate to go back .Office is well lit , clean and ventilated .
Didnt have to wait long and the doctors and staff were very thorough. Highly recommend
I chose Northwell after experiencing multiple misdiagnoses at other urgent care centers. My experience was amazing! Everyone was extremely caring and asked important and relevant questions. I checked in online and was seen exactly on time. The doctor was very thorough and gave me very helpful recommendations. I was very satisfied with my visit.
Dr. Weinberg was excellent. He diagnosed my very painful condition quickly and prescribedthe right treatment regimen. His people skills were excellent as well.Equally, Northwell’s nurse and physician’s assistant were most helpful and efficient. They too helped make my short visit as easy as they could.Excellent medical care, a short waiting time, and a confidently delivered, positive outcome.
I wish I could rate them higher. I walked in with a horrible cut on my hand that needed five stitches (a lot for my tiny hand) and they treated me RIGHT away! The PA Steve was the most professional and nicest EVER. He explained everything to me clearly so I could understand what he was about to do. The staff was SO nice. Do not hesitate to come here.
Perfect experience here getting COVID tested prior to travel to Hawaii. Made an appointment online 72 hours in advance on their website easily. Was taken quickly upon arriving. At every step of the way everyone knew about the Hawaii program which made me feel much more comfortable. Results in
The PA and the team didn’t pay attention to diagnose and fail to throat swab. And they repeated same COVID test and didn’t send the prescription to the pharmacy I had to change. My experience was terrible. Even though there are not many patients, the staff was unwelcoming.
Incredibly incompetent front desk staff that make you wait for almost an hour (!), telling you that soon someone will arrive and will be able to process you and that you are 1st in the cue. When, after nearly an hour I started asking how much longer it might take as you have to go to another appointment, I was told that in fact i am not 1st in the que but last and should be grateful to be seen at all as a walkin (not mentioned when i 1st signed in).
The receptionist kindly signed me in to get a rapid molecular test despite the sign on the door saying an appt was needed. The Dr. assuring me that the negative test results were reliable was very reassuring. The whole process took about 30 minutes!
I was in and out very quickly. From beginning to end, from scheduling the walk-in to being seen and treated to the doctor was honestly the best experience Ive had, especially compared to the other clinic options. The office was clean and modern, the staff was all very friendly, and Steven Kapinos has stellar bedside manners. Had my problem solved and left feeling better. Go here, UES!
Very good place. One gets the doctors attention and Help.
I spoke with 3 people while there, two medical assistants, and a doctor. Everyone was friendly and helpful. This will be my go-to urgent care (Not that Im hoping to go again any time soon).
The doctor that saw me was extremely unprofessional, she had no idea what she was doing. Sent half the prescription and forgot the other half. She prescribed a painkiller for an Asthma attack! Made me wait for ages. Appalling!
I was very happy with my experience at Northwell. I went for a returning cold that I had over 2 months. The nurse practitioner who saw me was very knowledgeable about my precondition MS and prescribed just the right meds. I saw my neurologist shortly after, he said he would have done the same. The entire staff was courteous and Id definitely would go back. And they accepted my insurance 😊
I want to thank the Dr. Edward Loscalzo for finding me referrals to follow-up with for my condition and for validating my experience. I wish more doctors were like him. In my opinion, this is the best urgent care in NYC, and I will never go anywhere else. They always go above and beyond to help patients and make them feel comfortable. If they cannot help your situation, they always advise on what steps to take next to get the help you need.
Staff was friendly and professional. Very helpful with my injury
The receptionist at the front desk is RUDE! Disgusting attitude. And I am sure it is the same women who is rude on the phone as well. Furthermore if your rapid PCR test not working it would be nice to tell patients in advance! Travel plans depend on these tests! And you know how difficult it is to make an appointment with the demand is what it is!
I want to say a sincere and heartfelt Thank You to PA Edward and the wonderful women who took my vitals and my X-rays on Tuesday night. I had a broken arm and was frightened and in terrible pain and you all made me feel safe and cared for. I appreciate that you stayed well past closing time to help me. I appreciate your care and will always remember your kindness and professionalism.THANK YOU!!
FRAUDULENT CHARGES & BILLING. Got a ~$300 bill for a recent Covid test even AFTER my insurer paid out $450. Bc they arbitrarily added “urgent care” charges to my bill despite my having made an appointment online ahead of time for a simple Covid test. All that happened during the visit is that they did the Covid swab and took my blood pressure - who knew taking blood pressure would be more expensive than getting an x-ray here. Obviously I will be fighting the bill but what a huge waste of time for all involved. I’ve gotten a Covid test at a different Northwell location before without this happening so it seems to be a problem with this location. I would be extremely wary to get anything done here ever again.
The staff are compassionate, care, professional & wonderful! The Practice is very clean & sterile. Curbside service at this time of uncertainty is much appreciated & shows NW is best in class!I already have an appointment scheduled for the future!
In and out so quickly with the ability to make an appointment beforehand! Especially in the time of covid, this is such an important factor. The office is spotless, the staff highly professional and kind. Always feel better upon going and get results quickly. Highly recommend!
Completely rude, unprofessional, and ignorant receptionist who thinks it’s ok to let people with ear infections stand outside in the cold for 45 minutes. Jennifer Ayala does not deserve to be employed in the medical field, she is completely indifferent to patient’s symptoms, rude, unprofessional, has a nasty attitude and overall is just the worst employee I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting. Absolutely shocking that they still employ her and defend her actions.
I came there for an illness that I was worried was contagious and I was well accommodated. Look and feel was definitely amazing. Especially considering I didnt spend a dime to be there. I love how streamlined everything was. I barely had to wait and all the staff were helpful. If it wasnt out of my way Id go there for all my needs.
Excellent experience this morning at this walk-in clinic / urgent care facility on 1st Ave and 81st. Paperwork/intake was extremely quick and efficient (i.e. just the essentials). Facility is beautiful and clean. The young man who greeted me and handled my intake and vitals was thoroughly professional and also very pleasant. The doctor that I saw, Dr. Jonathan Zipkin, really could not have been more pleasant in his manner, effective in addressing my concerns, or informative in his answers. He had tons of time for me, and encouraged questions and follow-up by phone/email after the visit. His diagnosis and treatment recommendations were totally clear, sensible, and coherent. Highly recommend both the facility and specifically the individuals I saw today, especially Dr. Zipkin.
Walked in late in the evening for an emergency. The nurse and the doctor were very friendly. I got treated right away and given all the info I needed. The blood test came back early morning next day and they called me right away. Very pleasant experience.
Billed triple what I expected...The doctor and staff were professional and provided good service, but my experience with the billing was unacceptable. When I visited their offices, I had my vitals taken and a prescription for an antibiotic, to help my apparent sinus infection. no other services were rendered. The reason I visited this facility is their prices were available on their website, and the cash price would be a maximum of $160. The small print indicated these prices are for non-insured patients. The website also suggested prices for insured patients would be lower. The staff insisted on going through my insurance company even though I had a deductible.I find out later northwell bilked my insurance company for $526, and rightfully my insurance company declined that charge. So, several months later, they tried to bill me $526. After speaking to them on the phone, I got the charge down to $375. They insisted this is a new patient charge and is not negotiable. I paid the amount but will not be using this provider again and vowed to share my story here.
Went in with extreme abdominal pain and was told that it was definitely just a stomach bug and that I should give it 2 or 3 days. 6 hours later I decided to ignore the “professional” advice and I went to the hospital. I’m now sitting at home without my appendix. Not only was it a waste of time and money coming to this establishment but it proved to be dangerous. The Surgeons let me know that if I had followed to advice given to me at Northwell Urgent Care on 81st St & 1st Ave, my appendix would’ve more than likely ruptured. Would be great for places like this to find a dr or two that could actually admit they don’t know something rather than putting lives at risk.
I was seen very quickly first thing in the morning and received complete information on treatment
My 27 year old son visited recently for tonsillitis. The PA who examined him apparently urged him to go to an emergency room, made him sign a form that he refused to take an ambulance to the hospital, that the tonsil had an abscess , scared him by saying if infection spreads to the other tonsil he would stop breathing in 1-2 days and have to get a permanent throat windpipe hole to breath...Lenox hill hospital said no abcess. I think the function of urgent care is just write the antibiotic prescription and send folks on their way with hope instead of scaring people aka bedside manner or just say immediately go to hospital we cant treat you, do you need help getting there and do it right away. An experienced professional should know in minutes on a visual exam without testing or temper the reaction due to inexperience and go with antibiotic- it wont kill someone. Which is what the current treatment is anyway.
Advertises as a walk-in testing place, but they send you back outside to sign-up online. Their website has trouble geo-locating you and makes it as difficult as possible to sign up. I signed-up for an immediate appointment, but when I went inside they said I had signed up for an appointment 3 days from now. So, just switch it I said, but they replied--ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho!-that they were too busy. Place was so empty the dust motes could be counted. Place was so empty the voice of the one doctor echoed. Avoid. Not a working testing center.
Had fallen, cut upper lift taken by Dr.Kerrod quickly attended to cut and then recommended a tetanus shot, since I had not had one in many years and fell on a New York City block. Very effficient and supportive.
I have fairly low expectations for urgent care centers, but the staff and doctors here were incredibly professional and caring. Very impressed by the care I received combined with frequent communication. Thanks!
I was seen by a young physician assistant who completely dismissed my symptoms and told me I had the flu. I am a physician. I have never took a day off for the flu or cold. I have never visited an urgent care center before but it was the weekend and my doctor was away on vacation. It turned out I had Lyme disease and lost 3 weeks before I could initiate treatment. My suggestion for all PA who see patient in urgent care “listen to your patients!!!” People are busy and don’t go to urgent cares for fun! My suggestion for patients “request an MD to evaluate you, especially when your symptoms are dismissed!”
Did a telemedicine session to obtain an appointment for a COVID test. Then went to center and took the test. Gave me little confidence as staff seemed unprofessional, even had to ask that the nurse wear a mask. Ten days later they have lost the test. Hours of time and more than a week delay lost. They show zero concern about having lost the test, suggested I start the process over. No apology even. This is how these new operators get a bad name. Go to CityMD instead.
Short wait, staff was great and P.A. was better
We really appreciate & value the doctors & staffs willingness to treat me & my family with the utmost respect, kindness & professionalism! We were truly made to feel welcomed & comfortable in my need for medical attention.
Very professional. Thorough. The fellow at reception was kind, courteous and helpful. The PA was knowledgeable and efficient
Dr. Zipkin was great. He made me feel like he cares and was very thorough in his care. I was also very impressed how he handled an emergency situation that arrose while I was waiting to be seen. But the staff leader Kenton is top notch. The professional and gentle way he does his job convinced me that I made the right choice. Northwell Urgent Care on 1st Ave & 81st Street is a New York City lifesaver.
Excellent care. No long wait!
I highly recommend the Northwell urgent care facility on 82nd St. and 2nd Ave. in New York City.I have been there twice in the past six months and both times I received prompt and excellent treatment. My wait time was short and the staff was friendly and helpful.I thought the doctor was terrific.
Very good experience! Have never used an Urgent Center before. Person of all trades, Kenron was excellent. Intelligent and efficient. Gideon Zahler was professional and compassionate. Would return if need be.
Great location... staff were all excellent.. very professional and friendly. They followed full protocol.. spotless place. The Dr. answered all of my questions and concerns. I definitely recommend Northwell Urgent Care E81st/1st Avenue!
Worse experience and place, Been there 16th of this month for stomach pain, they couldnt find whats wrong with me, they said they will refer me to a doctor, wait and the doctor will call me.Ive received any call from anyone, week later, I called the clinical member, disrespectful arrogant unprofessional guy picked up, I explained my situation, he said someone is gonna call me, 2 days later I called, been put on hold for 30mn, i called clinicall member again following day, even worse, her name is linda, i askef for managers name and contact, gave me wrong info. Finally call the receptionist I believe, her name is Nicole, she checked and said to be honest with you, the referral didnt go through or they made a mistake, but she made sure it went throug this time I just dont understand how 2 people would lie to me about my health situation, this is so personnel to me and unacceptable, me and anyone I know will not go to this urgent care anymore, Im a student at Hunter college by the way for the continuing education program in digital marketing, I know how to use social, Ill expose you and your employee except Nicole who is an honest person who Care about people life.
Loved every one. They worked on the holiday! Were nice. Efficient and effective! The PA was smart, excellent listener , very nice, knowledgeable confident and humble. Love the whole team
Compared to my visit at city md, night and day. Staff is very professional, friendly and informative. I was happy I decided to try this particular goheatlh urgent care. Well established, nice esthetics, and quick service. Thank you and keep up the great work.
This is my second time there and from my phone calls... the nurses and the doctor are all kind and very attentive to my daughters needs as well as follow up calls. I will continue to go there. I have already bragged to those i know how amazing urgent care is. Thank you.
Dr. Druid is one of the best general care physicians I have met. Kind, considerable and very knowledgeable. The staff is very efficient and courteous. Strongly recommend.
The entire staff and the doctor was so lovely and compassionate. All had a great bedside manner and made me feel safe and cared for.
This place sucks. I had my blood taken for no reason. They told me I have brocheites and sent my local pharmacy a cough suppressant. Which had no affect on my coughing. I later went to a SERIOUS doctor and told me that because of the medication having no affect I was in danger to more serious health issues. The doctors have no clue what their doing as their supposed to do.
Always feel well taken care of at Urgent care
Place is a joke. Made me wait an hour and let 4 people ahead of me. Total waste of time. Staff has no clue what they are doing
Great staff with little waiting period
My provider (Edward)was super informative knowledgeable and caring. The front desk was extremely sweet and accommodating . My nurse was professional and kind .
I was misdiagnosed twice by two different doctors - both said I didnt have any kind of sinus infection. I just went to an ENT and sure enough bacterial infection.
Thank you for your quick response with an EKG, as my pain was so severe that I thought I was having a heart attack! The doctor was able to rule that out right away as a result, and was able to diagnose me properly. Thank you for your thorough response to the pain I was in🙏🌺
Wonderful doctors but a very rude and unprofessional receptionist, Jennifer Ayala. She doesnt care about patients, is totally ignorant toward their needs, and is very unwelcoming.
The staff were so nice and caring! They put me at ease and their advice really helped me. This will be my go to urgent care.
The staff was prompt, courteous, and professional. There was good attention to detail and the treatment plan is proving effective.
They say no appt. needed.I checked their site for a rapid covid test and a walk in appt.was available as long as I arrived in 20 min.Got there in 10 min. and the receptionist said no I dont know where you heard that...?Turned me away flat.
Went in for anti-biotics for a sinus infection that I knew, if not taken care of, would blow up into Bronchitis. Dr. did not feel the infection warranted medication and sent me home with the instructions to use nasal spray, Tylenol, and water. 10 days later in the ER with guess what, BRONCHITIS! I know my body and Dr. Z just didnt trust his patient.
Honestly one of the best experiences at the hospital, from the nurse to the person that walk you to the surgery room they are really attentive and explain everything you need to know honestly I have a great experience everything was so smooth. Thank you
The provider, Edward Loscalzo, was very knowledgeable and so helpful. I highly recommend him.
The staff and doctor were very welcoming and pleasant thank you for your services
Everyone was extremely helpful and fast. The environment was also very clean and comfortable. I will definitely return if I need quick medical care in the future! Thank you so much
Make sure you have an appointment for a COVID test! We trekked here from the airport thinking we could just walk in for a COVID test to see the sign at the door that says they were doing tests ONLY by appointment.
Rude and unhelpful. They dont want to speak to you, just instruct you to go online. Its like they just dont want to work w people. The site is completely unclear on how to make an appointment for a covid test.
I give my experience a 10 over 10 for the experience at Northwell Health-Go Heslth. Your team was efficient, friendly, thorough and quick! Great experience. Thank you!!
Very modern office with great and friendly staff. The doctor had great bedside manner and we were very pleased with the experience. Highly recommend.
I have visited on many occasions. I have been satisfied with my care and the staff are among the best 👌. Please continue with the good works. I love the staff at 80th street and I Avenue.
Misdiagnosis in which they hardly looked at the issue. Went to a dermatologist and got a correct one later but of course they still charge me for doing their job wrong.
Covid-19 testing is by appointment only as told the young asia woman in the front desk. She then proceeded to give me a list of testing centers that do not need appointments for testing.
Brought in my baby on a Sunday, and the PA said he was sending a prescription for antibiotics to my pharmacy. When I got to the pharmacy, no prescription. Called the office, it was five minutes after closing and no one picked up. Called the main Northwell Urgent Care line, was told cant help. Such gross incompetence.
Had a very good experience con getting my PCR test at Northwell on First Avenue and 80 Street. Will go back.
The staff and doctors are caring, professional, and willing to answer all your questions. They have a very clean office and I felt well cared for.
Lisa the provider I saw actually called me twice the next day to check on my well-being. This shows the kind of person she is.
Very happy with the service I received, the staff, and the quality of the Urgent Care’s installations. GoHealth is far better than an emergency room.
Amazing. They took me right in and it was fast and thorough. Highly recommend them.
I thought the entire experience was positive and easy and I loved how they called today to see how I was feeling! my primary care dr doesnt even do that!
PA Ed was very thorough and answered all of the questions I had. Would definitely recommend him and this facility to my friends and family.
The urgent care center is down the block from where I live. The online process was simple and streamlined, and I was seen quickly as a walk-in. What a relief to have this resource so close.
Wonderful experience. Efficient, Clean and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back ! Happy to have urgent care so close by .
Amazing staff. Walked right in and they took care of me with no wait. Now my first choice for rapid care.
Megan Greger is fantastic!
Great experience! My provider was incredibly kind and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this service.
I’ve gone to this facility several times...each time I’ve been made comfortable...an efficient and accommodating and knowledgeable staff. I am very impressed and pleased that such a facility is so accessible.
Very professional. I went for a covid test for pre-op. Test arrived at surgeons office when promised. Cant ask for anything better.
First time urgent care experience, it was very efficient and care provider and staff are very professional. I will high recommend friends and family if they need urgent care.^^
I would never return again to this clinic, no result with your treatment!!! 4 days later I felt worse and I went to another certified physician who was so professional. thank you for wasting my time and money!!!!!!
Yes. Everything was good, but the chairs in the waiting room were quite low, which is difficult for those of us with orthopedic issues and/or the elderly.
Both the service and my provider were prompt, professional and personal. I highly recommend this urgent care facility.
Everyone was great 👍🏻Steven stitched me up and had me on my way in no time. Totally great experience ( which I hope to not repeat 🤕😁)
The receptionist was friendly and patient, I felt that she truly cares for the people who come in needing help.
Thank you, PA Megan, Iris and Monique for the usual extraordinary courtesy, excellence and professionalism!Sincerely,Dr. F
The best service ever!!
Woman at front desk was really rude and not welcoming at all. I left and went to WebMD on 86th where they were much nicer.
Respectful and friendly. Clean area and short waiting period to see a health care provider.
Very attentive and so helpful answering all my questionsand giving me additional information.

Well run, professional staff is accommodating and thoughtful.
Excellent and quick attention. They are the best doctors I went in the USA so far
Great doctor, and great staff. Im very happy with my treatment
You cant get them on the phone. Worst customer service. Tge answering service told me that if I need to talk to them I have to go to the facility. No o e gives you answers.
Staff was very professional and thorough, taking the time to explain details from insurance to diagnosis
Literally don’t bother. Full of incompetent employees who would rather appease the local clientele of the neighborhood than someone who needs medical attention.
Very professional from the receptionist to the doctor and everyone in between
Rude receptionist. They have walk in covid test but I guess they don’t want to work.
It was fast. Efficient. I have been here a few times and I’m pleased with the service every time.
Overall, a great experience! I definitely recommend!
This is not a site for all patients to be test unless you want to pay for it if they dont take your insurance.
Why do people have to wait outside in the cold for doctor to come in? They open at 8am but doctor still not here!!!
The staff are very meticulous in their queries and treatment. Im thankful.
Please respect your elderly patients and keep your facility temperature normal instead of freezing cold!
Reception, service, testing all excellent. Highly recommend.
Provider and staff very attentive and professional. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
