Great customer service, clear process and electronic registration plus the PA Melissa was really caring. She explained everything throughly, gave me options and did promptly followed up with the results. Clean office and efficient staff. Thank you.
Urgent Care in Greenwich Village NY has aways been an excellent experience for me. I sign up for an appt. They are friendly and organized. My medical concerns are fully addressed even though I am aware these facilities are not staffed by doctors, but by physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Went for a COVID test. I got charged an insane amount over four months with nondescript charges, even they couldn’t tell me what they were charging me for.Six months later, I got another nondescript charge, sent apparently by mistake. However it had my exact email and credit card on file, attached to someone else’s name. This location is at best gravely incompetent, at worse malicious. Avoid at all costs.
I urgently came here to take a pee because I couldnt hold it. And the front desk worker told me no. It was July 23. At 4pm. She said no only for patients. I feel like the people dont want to clean up restrooms, so they make up rules.
When you have ear problems, especially a problem with your congested left ear, like what I had this morning, dont let anyone, especially physicians from this urgent medical care center brutally and aggressively spray anything with water and peroxide into your ear, and then let them tell you after their treatment that you have to get some over the-counter eardrops from the pharmacy after they have damaged your ear.Anyone who does that is not a real physician. They cause more damage than supporting the healing process. Now I feel drowsier than ever, and I have a harder time hearing in my left ear while I have a harder time being able to taste the whole flavor of my food!!!I had the same issue beforewith my ear in the past, but in Belgium. To his defense, this awesome Belgian ENT-physician knew what he was doing, twice. No aggressive sprain in my ear.Just treating my ear with delicacy and care, like a painter who would paint his art with delicacy and care.As soon as he was done, I was able to move on with my life with joy, satisfaction and gratitude. For this physician at this urgent care center to practically gaslight me into believing that its normal to spray my ear like this goes beyond me.For lord sake, I was even crying out of fear that something might happen to my ear during that unprofessional, aggressive, careless spraying procedure! 😡👎😤Whoever read this, please look more responsible place where they treat their patients with care!
I am so dissatisfied. I did a test wrong (self applied) and asked if it would be ok for test result and they said yes - came back as not available to ascertain results. Also sent to wrong pharmacy 3 times after confirming pharmacy 3 times with them. Unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. Do not go here.
While the visit itself was excellent..however starting in December it became a nightmare. I received the copay invoice..sent the check ...it was paid by the bank same month. However despite that they kept sending overdue bills. January I called and spoke with rep who told me he took care of the problem then and there. In late February I received yet another invoice stating past due copay. Now Im reporting them to the proper agency. Theyre accounting is incompetent and unprofessional which I despise in any business. Im a senior and will never utilize their services nor recommend again....neither for office visits or their urgent care center. I wouldve given a five star however due to this aggravating situation no way Jose
The physicians assistant, Nancy M was outstanding in the care she provided me and the efforts she made on my behalf in a very touchy and challenging situation for me. She handled my issue with expertise, professionalism and kindness. Shes great and Im very grateful she was working the day I came in. Thank you!
Nancy who took care of me was so kind, and knowledgeable. Ever since I followed her recommendations and guidance - all of my symptoms have cleared. She is the best!
Doctor was patient, knowledgeable and spent the time to enable me to understand what and why her was doing.
The PA did a thorough job at explaining everything. She was very kind, thoughtful and very understanding of my babys needs. She made her feel at ease during a time of great distress not only for her but for us as well. We were seen promptly and received great attention and care.
Both the nurse and PA that saw me were both incredibly friendly and caring!! The PA Melissa Kim was super thorough; they asked me many questions about my experiences and history to try and understand my condition from all angles, and they carefully explained all of their thoughts and decision-making. I honestly havent met many clinicians that are as thorough as they are, and this made for a very comforting experience!!
But i left my drivers license, and medicare aetnamonths ago, and no one ever called mewent thru hell getting a new drivers licensenothing to do w last visit
I was a mess . And medicines and prescriptions good. Still suffering but definitely getting better. My primary care told me to go to urgent care
They never mentioned online when you’re making an appointment that they need a debit card on file. Wasted my time. I would give them 0 stars if allowed 🙅🏻♀️
The PA that saw me (Nancy?) barely looked at me and sent me home. I very clearly had a bacterial infection in my throat and she did not order a throat culture or anything. Just kinda rude. I almost died because of this mistake as it got progressively worse. Now I’ve received a bill for $625 for the five minute visit. I had to visit another doctor two days after as my fever and the infection got progressively worse. Luckily this doctor was more competent and prescribed strong antibiotics and I got better almost immediately. I should sue for malpracticeUpdate: nothing was ever escalated to their team.
Person on call, did not properly test for my symptoms. I winded up walking about with Covid, did not discover I had Covid until a few days late:(
Doctor spent time with me, listened to what I had to say. And made recommendations.
The staff is just a pleasure. Just love this Urgent Care service.
Came in over the summer because I had sand stuck in my ear. It was causing a hearing imperfection and overall pain. Doctor looked in my ear and said she couldnt see anything. When I asked her if we could irrigate my ear, she said, I cant irrigate your ear if theres nothing to irrigate. Paid $50, went home and purchased a home irrigation kit. Husband irrigated my ear and lo and behold, sand poured out of my ear.Advice is do your research and if you want a test done demand it to get your moneys worth.
Today, 01/29/24, at 6:00 pm, I went to ask for a face mask bc I lost mine, and I need it to get a new one to be protected from COVID, and the NURSE told me no bc I was not patient there… crazy she prefers someone to spread covid that prevention… unbelievable
Short wait time! Professional and courteous. The Dr.I believe her name was Melissa did a wonderful job diagnosing me correctly with my sinus issues and dispensed the proper medication 💊!!Great staff!
Not a place you want to have to visit but I came here for an infected cat bite and the nurse practitioner was amazing. So thoughtful and available. She even called me to follow up.
Welcoming, friendly, professional atmosphere. Immediate attn to my health issues.
The staff are nice, but the provider (Nancy, I believe) does not listen to patients, their medical history, or their needs. I only came in cause my primary is on vacation. I know the condition I have as I have had twice previously and what works to get rid of it, but the provider refused to fill a simple antibiotic stating the issue that has been present for a week is not serious enough. She examined me for all of 30 seconds and even after I insisted to fill the perception she said no. I paid a co-pay to be told if it doesnt resolve on its own, then come back..... very annoyed and that she wasnt even open to my explanations even after my clear frustrations. She didnt care to listen about how issue has happened before and it always gets worse. She was in the room for all of 1 minute....Very disappointed...
I would not recommend this clinic. The physician assistant Nancy was impatient when listening to me explain my symptoms and plain rude for no reason at all. I left with no answers and have to make a second appointment elsewhere. I am very disappointed with my experience.
I came in yesterday to be treated for an ear infection. When I got into the office, I didn’t have a mask. The reason I didn’t have a mask is that with an ear infection, the mask tugs on the ear and causes pain. I was absolutely fine wearing one in office though and would have been more than happy to comply. The receptionist yelled at me to put a mask on and when I told her I needed one, she literally rolled her eyes at me. Then, she started asking me questions like “Are you a walk-in?” and “Do you have an appointment?” before she would give me a mask. If wearing a mask in office is so important to Northwell, why would you ask these asinine questions before handing me a mask? I’m certain if I didn’t have an appointment, then she would have kicked me out. With my $45 copay, I’m sure that would cover a mask that costs one cent. Then, she asked in front of everyone in the lobby what I was there for. I am almost certain this is a violation of HIPPA as I work in the insurance field. I was made to feel small and I was extremely embarrassed. On top of all of this, it was Father’s Day. I lost my father in December and this was my first Father’s Day without him. Needless to say after been yelled at, I left the office after my visit crying. Northwell- do better. There are many urgent cares in the city with receptionists who do not violate patients’ rights. I will be taking my future needs elsewhere. The only reason why this review has 2 stars is because the actual care I received by the PA was a great experience.
This was the best experience Ive ever had at a Drs office. The online scheduling allowed me to have virtually no wait. The individual in the front was very polite and friendly. Most importantly, Dr Nancy Marrazzo was amazing. She listened to all of my issues and concerns. She was very patient, provided me with tons of information, and time. I did not feel like I was being rushed, but rather felt like she truly cared about my questions. Very satisfied!!! ☺
The staff was super attentive and genuine with me, especially the physician. I felt like I was being cared for by everyone there. They consistently checked on me whether is was to see how I was feeling or if I needed water or tea. Also, they took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly even though I came two days in a row right before closing on a holiday weekend!
I have had a cough since December 19. Which is a month ago. It’s getting worse and worse. I had been to City MD two weeks ago and they gave me antibiotics. Unfortunately they didn’t work. My husband has the same deep, nasty cough. I made an appointment with my primary care but they couldn’t see me until Feb. The cough is so bad. My medical professional friends and family told me that Tom and I need to see a Dr. City Md has been impossible to get into again. My husband works for Northwell and all my doctors are Northwell so I figured, let me try their Urgent Care. I was surprised under the current circumstances how easy it was to get an appointment. After going there, I think I know why. The RPA-C that we saw walked in the room and was unbelievably nasty and condescending. I was shocked. She said that a cough is a primary problem not an urgent one and that I should have made an appointment to see my primary doctor not them. Then she walked out to get something. My husband who was there with me and had an appointment following. Got up and left. I wanted to do the same and I probably should have but I am desperate to have this cough stop. He made a complaint at the desk and the receptionist must have told her that he worked for Northwell because she came back acting EXTRA nice. I’m sorry but I’ve never been treated like that in my life. She was so rude and didn’t even listen. She made me so uncomfortable I was afraid to speak. I had been shamed for being there! The fact that she only became nice after my husband walked out and she may have heard he worked for Northwell is so uncool. All patients should be treated with respect and ideally some kindness as they are there because they are sick, until they do something that warrants not deserving such warmth. I was told that my cough was post nasal drip. So both my husband and I have that…. I listened, but it was clear that our trip to this urgent care was a waste of time and waste of money for our insurance. I understand that our healthcare system is overwhelmed. Our doctors, nurses and EMS are working so hard. I know they are exhausted and burnt out, but if you cannot carry yourself and give care to your patients, perhaps you should take some time off for some self care or go into another profession. I will see my primary on the 1st of Feb…but the cough is worse today then ever. Hopefully City Md has some time to see me before. They are always wonderful.
Have been going to this urgent care for all of my Covid, and non Covid, related healthcare visits for the past few years. I must say that the care that I receive is always top quality. The staff there, and at all healthcare facilities, have gone through a very terrible past two years, and while yes there are days where they obviously appear burned out, the quality of care is always top-notch. I saw comments saying that staff members are rude and unfriendly, but many times, sitting in the waiting room, I have witnessed how vicious some patients can be to them. Nancy, the PA is straightforward but is an excellent clinician who knows her stuff. The two young ladies Shanette and Sherrie are down to Earth and always make you feel welcome and are so inviting. However, you have to make sure you get the chance to see Eric. He is so friendly, helpful and always has a smile on under his mask. If you are not feeling well or need a covid test for travel purposes, this is your place to go. I have seen them take the time to research on patients behalf to ensure they get the required test they need to travel, while at the same time providing top-notch care to those in need of healing. Excellent, excellent place and even better people. I can not recommend them enough.
Everyone couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating. Nancy is always so helpful to me, she is wonderful and just tells it like it is. Colleen was so sweet as usual. Eric explained the different types of antibody tests which was so helpful. Last but not least Chinet (sp?) at the reception desk was multi-tasking like a rock star never missing a beat. My experience was great and I would recommend to all.
I saw Nancy M. The PA and she could not have been nicer and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend her. This place was clean and was the quickest wait I have ever had at an urgent care. I picked an appt time online prior to going and I filled out the quick form online prior as well. When you go they have your name up on a digital sign showing your apt time and expected wait time- I waited not even 15 min. THEY EVEN CALLED ME A COUPLE DAYS LATER TO CHECK ON ME. 😊
I went to urgent care to take care of a dog bite. I was very impressed by the PA Nancy Marrazzo—thorough examination and prompt treatment, clear explanation, and humane attitude. I felt very well cared for. Also the front desk staff was efficient and friendly. The office was clean and well appointed and there was just a few minutes wait to get in. The staff checked in with me a couple days later to see if I was doing ok (I was). Though I hope not to have the need, I would definitely use this urgent care office if I did!
GoHealth has a quick sign-in process, friendly staff and trustworthy service. I know I will use it again when I need prompt medical care. Thank you.
Wonderful doctor, very patient and caring
I went there a few weeks ago to do a Covid test, because I had a fever and was under the weather, also having a compromised immune system makes it even scarier for me to go through the screening.I waited outside for a very long time which is fine, I understand there are a lot of people wanting a test. And I didn’t want to get anyone ill if I had Covid ( it turned out I had not) so I kept my distance with everybody but what I think the location was lacking is: anyone outside or a sign telling you to check in first. I thought people were just waiting to get in.Therefore I waited for no reason and I had to start over again. At least at City MD you have someone you can talk to at the door. I know this for a fact because I took my son for a Covid test recently.Anyway when I finally got in, the receptionist who very was rude and didn’t seem to be bothered suggested that I do a rapid test, which at the end was opposed by the nurse practitioner who suggested a more accurate regular test. My main disappointment is that checking out, they refused to refund me for the useless rapid test I didn’t get. As I was leaving they gave me a number to call on Monday, the people doing the billing seem as miserable as the people working at the location. They have been telling me that I have to contact my insurance and send them a claimAll this work when they made the mistake not me, I will add that I asked to be refunded on the spot which I know you can do with any credit card machine as I own a business. They said they couldn’t do it which seems like a blank lie. Finally I didn’t see any doctor there working there Instead there was a nurse and a nurse practitioner. Didn’t feel like a very serious place. There was a used mask on the counter of the consult room.I absolutely don’t recommend to go there to anyone.update: I contacted the email provided in the comment about my review and still waiting to be contacted back
Terrible experience. While receptionist was cordial and efficient the MD came out of the room when it was my turn and screamed and yelled at me to get out, that even though I was wearing a mask and had been vaccinated for everything, my at-home test showed that I had COVID I could be responsible for spreading it, .....and this was the reason it was spreading so rapidly in NYC and that clinic was having shortages of staff due to COVID supposedly from patients. I was mortified at her public display, she continued to yell and make me leave without treatment. I am 80 years old, had no symptoms of COVID but was exposed to it and tested positive once at home. I just wanted to know if my chest was clear (due to my age) and whether the new medication released by the FDA would be appropriate for me to take. Once again I was wearing a mask. The physician wanted to hear nothing and continued to yell and said she should post a sign on the Urgent Care Door (8th St) that no COVID patients should make appointments.
Service is prompt and efficient and the staff is courteous/very friendly. I have had several visits myself and I always book my executive boss for rapid covid tests when he is in town. The team is so awesome and they always accommodate us with excellence!
I went in with numbness in my neck and arm. The doctor dismissed it and told me I needed a massage. That’s it.Two weeks later I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. These people are not here for patient needs, they are here to get people through the door quickly. While I didn’t expect them to diagnose me, but not even a suggestion that I should have seen someone more qualified.
Its unfortunate that the receptionist is uncaring and unprofessional, whereas the medical staff is quite good. This rating is for the receptionist. The receptionist (Shanette) seems to dislike the job and her patients immensely. She is ill-fitted for such a position. Her behavior is actually abusive, and this is an office of urgent care, for people who are not feeling well. It feels more like the DMV. Patients are barely allowed to talk as she interrupts them and barks orders. She doesnt even look at the patients when she talks to them. One elderly lady I saw was waiting a long time and when she asked about her appointment, Shanette ignored her and then went to back, returned, and walked out the front door. Her shift, apparently, was over. The lady looked at me, perplexed and forlorn. (I should add that later a new receptionist arrived and so I asked her if I may get a printout of my lab report. She told me that I didnt need to register and wait for a printout. She printed it out immediately, right there at her desk.. Shanette had told me otherwise - twice! I had been waiting 30 minutes!) Watching patients beg, politely and quietly ask for help from a person who obviously did not care at all was distressing.
Intake was easy and clearly explained step by step by the front desk. Eric was welcoming and put me at ease. Nancy Marrazo was empathetic and answered all my questions but also offered assurance and information clearly and a great attitude. I felt very at home there. Great team!
PA Nancy was rude told me to be quiet 2x. My family and I went there because we are traveling and we needed to be tested. I explained where I was traveling and what the requirements were once I received the results I noticed that there was not enough information provided. I asked if she could add the source of the testing which was nasal and I asked if she could add the time the test was taken to show that I was there within the time limit for travel. Her staff tried to convince me that this is the way they complete their paperwork and that it would be acceptable. The paperwork looked like I made it at my home on my own computer unprofessional and lack of information. I even provided a copy of the paperwork Given to my friend at another location before her travel. Once again I was told that they could not change it that they did not know what I wanted and that I could print the summary and highlight the areas that I needed to be shown for travel. I was also told that all locations ran differently let me just tell you this location is unprofessional and should be shut down I spent $225 for three Covid tests and was treated poorly and unprofessionally I will never ever go to go health in Greenwich Village again and I will never recommend this place to anyone.I called another go health office and explained what happened and they looked at my chart and agreed that there was not enough information on my paperwork for travel this location completed my paperwork all over with the information that was on my chart. Thanks to this other location my paperwork Has been completed according to my travel requirements.SHAME ON YOU PA Nance!!! And shame on the person working reception who told me she couldn’t help me because she was an x-ray technician not a receptionist.
The nurse practitioner (Nancy, I think) was rude and made several passive aggressive comments to my girlfriend and I while we were there getting tested before traveling. It was very unnecessary attitude when we were simply trying to answer her questions/get our questions answered. The receptionist and the nurse who took our tests were very kind though.
My husband and I went to GoHealth for a Covid-19 test. The staff was very polite and helpful. The doctor explained the procedure and what to expect. He had an excellent “bedside manner “. We were in and out very quickly. The results were posted through the portal in less than 48 hours.I highly recommend this facility.
Horrible experience, went here cause of the good reviews. Did a covid test for traveling and 2 days later a get a call that I had to do it again because they didnt close the vile correctly. 1st day everyone was nice, when I returned for a 2nd test nurse was really rude like she was doing a favor. The girl at the front desk was nice and professional.
Their service is very organized, quick and upto the need. The staffs are very friendly and well communicating. Dr. Weinberg was my physician in service, who seemed to make his patient feel very comfortable and confident. This is a very easily access, quick health service center at the heart of Greenwich Village. I will highly recommend this health service center. Thank you.
This place is the best place to go in an emergency. I had cut my toe deeply on glass and was feeling overwhelmed and crying a lot. They were very caring to me and kept offering me water and tea and tissues. Ive never been in a medical situation where I felt so cared for physically and emotionally. Nancy Marrazzo RPA-C, the physicians assistant who stitched up my toe with 9 stitches, did a wonderful job and made me feel super safe and in good hands. I HIGHLY recommend going to this place for all your urgent care needs.
I came to the urgent care center with an infection on my leg. The check-in was very easy, there was absolutely no wait time and the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable! I even got a call the next day to see how I was doing! Definitely recommend!
PA Nancy Marrazzo is fantastic. She diagnosed a serious problem that a MD that I saw at different facility totally missed. She saved me a lot of grief and possibly a scary outcome. I am indebted to her. The staff is great at this location, kind efficient competent.
The attitude of the provider was extremely poor. Probably why I was able to make a last minute appointment the night before. Very condescending. I walked out on her. Didnt realize Im a medical professional.. Oops too late.Sad Nancy
Just went here and this was the quickest and nicest urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was very sweet and professional and I was in and out within 30-45 minutes. Obviously your condition and the time and day you visit will change things but I would recommend this center to anyone. Danisha (sp?) was especially kind.
This place is a joke. The doctor knew nothing about the condition I went to get diagnosed for. He did not give me a thorough examination, and he basically just told me to buy something over the counter. I asked them if they really worked because I had read they didnt, and he said I think so. If they know they are not able to help patients, they should tell them that before they take $20 and bill the insurance. What a scam. When you call to make a complaint about it, the only way you can talk to someone in charge is by email. Save yourself time and go somewhere else, like Canada.
Im very pleased to have received a thorough checkup. The nurse and the nurse practitioner were both excellent care givers and gave me great advice to help me with my symptoms. I really appreciate their care. Thank you!
I wish there was a 0 star option. The service was absolutely terrible from the moment I arrived and they were not helpful at all. Basically just told me to go to a real urgent care if this got worse. Three months later, I received an absurd bill for an absolute horrible service. Never going back.
I had a reoccurring sickness/issue. They did a rapid strep throat and came back negative then they proceeded to send it to a throat laboratory to again test for strep throat. Either way I left the place still confused as to what the underlying issue is. they just told me to take Tylenol to reduce fever and thats it.
I would not advise young women to seek treatment from physician Kerrod McNeal. Kerrod misdiagnosed and treated me for an infection that I did not have before my test results came back. I do not fault him for making a diagnostic error; however, I do take issue with the condescending and misogynistic lecture he gave me while injecting medication into my buttocks. In any case, caregivers should not present their diagnoses with such palpable judgement (and in this case, inaccurate assumptions about the state of my fertility).
A great place to get a PCR/ rapid test for international travel or Hawaii. It was quick and convenient. You get a printed result of your test and you can also download a pdf online. They send you an email where you create an account that shows your results. Everyone working in this location was pleasant and attentive
So glad I chose to go here. The nurses, Daniella, Eva and Anita on 7 Uris in particular were angelic. The doctors were great with their communication as well as getting me well and healthy again.
Visiting from out of town; I was able to make same-day appointment, fill out my intake forms online in advance, and was seen right on time. Everything was geared towards making things as easy as possible, and the doctor explained everything clearly and concisely. This is medcare for the future!
I tested for Covid-19 and antibodies around two weeks ago. The tests themselves were free, but I was charged $225 for taking my blood pressure and temperature before passing the test. My insurance didnt cover these tests. These measurements looks overpriced and covid testing is not really free. At the same time, they are really easily accessible and have a modern web registration form.
Beware. They said they checked with my insurance company and that I would only be responsible for a small co-payment. Subsequently, they charged me over $600 for a short examination. Im still getting dunning letters for some blood work. Go to your own doctor.
Twice, I have insisted that my daughter go to urgent care-- both times she was feverish, achy and today, she had a rash. Unfortunately, both times the provider at Northwell Health Urgent Care was a Physicians Assistant-- not Nurse Practitioner, nor MD, but PA, Nancy Marrazzo. Instead of assuming that NO ONE drags themselves out of bed and trudges into urgent care for no reason. Ms Marrazzo displayed her: WHY ARE YOU HERE? attitude. (Another one of my daughters works at an urgent care in a different city. We understand the protocol. We dont run into urgent care for no reason.) When you have a fever, weird rash and are achy, you should get checked out. Its great news when its not the flu, measles, bacterial meningitis or anything urgent, but its unacceptable to be treated with disdain and a lack of compassion. Thats been the treatment from Ms. Marrazzo both times. (No, the waiting room was not full on either occasion.) First, do no harm? I wonder if Ms Marrazzo knows what that means? Its harmful to make sick people feel even worse when they go to a doctor and get treated like _______. We wont go back.
Sherry was absolutely fantastic! She was so sweet and made sure I was taken care of! If you’re gonna go to this urgent care make sure you ask for sherry!
The service is very convinient and the Doctor and nurses are pretty nice and welcoming.
Great Doctor, good experience.
Very good experience..all staff were great especially the PA who was very parient and informative.
Saturday afternoon, my husband, who has a cold, realized he could have conjunctivitis. We were under the impression that a prescription is needed to cure it. So we went to this location on 8th Street, never having used walk-in clinic before. After asking if he had a flu shot, done an annual exam or a colonoscopy (no questions about his eyes) .. Physican came in asking what she could do to help. We told her, she put on gloves quickly looking at his red eyes and then explained all types of reasons why his eyes look like this, (bacteria, virus) and in the end said we can buy something over the counter, Visine, at the pharmacy. Really? For conjunctivitis? $50 copay later, not our usual $20. Apparently this location is only equipped to take insurance payments. We should have gone to Mt. Sinai down the street. I cant wait to see what Northwell will charge our insurance for this joke of a medical appointment.
DO NOT PAY FOR A COVID TEST HERE. YOU CAN GET ONE (INCLUDING A TRAVEL TEST TO HAWAII) FOR FREE AT A CVS IN THE CITY. $195 for a COVID test is egregious. When I explained that I was unemployed and uninsured, and asked if there were any other options they said no. On top of that when I called just to see if there was any way to get the $195 reimbursed they told me that I owed an additional $130-145! They are not out to help, they’re only interested in making money.Edit Aug 2022 - A WHOLE YEAR LATER I GET A BILL FOR $550! After paying $200 at the location on the day of!Edit February 2023 - GOT ANOTHER BILL FOR $195 FOR THE SAME VISIT, AFTER SPENDING COUNTLESS HOURS ON THE PHONE. THOUGHT THE MATTER WAS CLOSED WHEN THEY SAID THE CHARGE WAS A MISTAKE LAST YEAR!!!!! GUESS THIS IS ANOTHER MISTAKE! WHAT A SCAM!
@NorthwellHealth forwarded a $19.02 bill that I wasnt aware of to a collections agency because I didnt get their physical bill in the mail in time.Really wringing everyone for that money. Stay trashy.
This is my go to urgent care center. Staff are consistent and professional especially Nancy. It’s so great to do rapid molecular tests for Covid here.
Terrific urgent care. Best dr and facilities around Greenwich Village.I always get the best care there. Thank you. This is by far the best urgent care facility around. Wonderful staff and doctors.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAWAII TRAVEL!!!!! Went to this location, they don’t give you a second page that is NEEDED with a sticker to upload. 2 other people I am traveling with went to a different go health and an afc urgent care and both received the second page with sticker and their upload was approved. Ours was not. Now we have to pay to get a second test. I called and they offered NO HELP and had an attitude at that. WHO RUNS THIS PLACE?!?! You are failing your customers and don’t care!!
Professional and caring, the Dr and the P.As attended to my symptoms, did appropriate tests and prescribed medication. How fortunate to have such a quality medical backup when I had a medical issue and was unable to get to my physician.
The nurse and doctor were very friendly and efficient. The clinic was clean. Everyone masked. Quick service.
Excellent and efficient service. Went in to test for an infection. Staff and doctors were friendly and careful in addressing the problem and effective in determining the results. Also very thorough and professional.
Much easier going in person than attempting remote visit.
Went to urgent care for the first time and was helped immediately. I didnt have to wait long at all, I was in and out . The receptionist was very helpful and polite and so was the doctor.
We are always taken care of. Thank You
The gentlemen at the front desk is always wonderful and the Dr. who seen me was very nice, thorough, and patient, answering all of my questions. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
Great hospitality, we needed a RT- PCR test for travel and they provided us with the results within 24 hours.Would defenitely recommend.
This urgent care was AWESOME! I am a student and was very lost and overwhelmed about what to do when I got sick, because my student health center was closed...but everyone at this urgent care was friendly, helpful, caring, and got me in and out very quickly! Thank you!!!!!
They did not have an x-ray technician at the moment I visited and did not/could not offer me services. To top it all off, I had to hobble out of the urgent care without having a door held for me or being offered help.
No wait time that day and super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The staff was very helpful, kind and patient. Sherry Lyles was very professional and gentle with covid testing. Highly recommend!!
Extremely condescending & unhelpful doctor. Basically got grandmas advice and I am supposed to feel better in 2 to 4 weeks. Nurses were fine though.
Told a COVID test would be $265, provided preauth. Instead, they send me a bill for $550.
I had a great experience in an excellent doctor facility is very clean wait time is short. Thank you very much for your services
It was so quickly in and out I never had that type experience and the doctor made you feel so calm and explain everything with the procedure it definitely was a good experience
The doctor on staff is amazingly personable and had a great bedside manner- they are conscientious and always ready to calmly assist everyone in need.
For at least four or five years, we have been impressed with this location when we have gone with a range of issues, most recently just looking for flu shots.
The Dr is friendly & patience. The environment is clean, hygienic & comfortable.
This place is amazing. The receptionist was attentive. The PA was so compassionate and loving. Thank you so much for giving true care.
The lady at the front desk with a heart tattoo on her neck was so rude and unprofessional I wouldn’t go there if your skin color is black
I didnt have to wait for an appointment. Doctor answered my questions and was thorough
Awesome, caring Dr & staff. As an out of town visitor, they made me feel at home, fixed me up quickly, and sent me on my way prescription in hand. Thank you.
My provider was awesome; super helpful, compassionate, and solved my problem right away. I only wish Id gone earlier that day. Thanks !!
They were terrific.
Was in with a friend and the place was hot as hell - no aircon - I asked what the problem is with the aircon and the Provider on duty - some rude lady called Nancy said she has it off - insane !!! Theres also no music on so the place is silent and stuffy - we couldnt wait to get out of there
The most irresponsibly dismissive doctor I’ve ever been to. Absolutely do not go here.
Said they take my insurance and when I got there told me I had to pay out of pocket
These ladies know what they’re doing. Got a same day COVID-Ag test and everyone was professional and courteous.
They charge $500 as soon as you walk in the door which is not covered entirely by insurance. When trying to understand the billing, their department was rude and disrespectful.
Rudest staff, doesn’t follow website statements. Makes up their own “rules” of when tests can and can’t be done
Beware of this place. They probably don’t take your insurance even if it’s listed on the website. That’s what happened to me and they charged me $240 for the corona virus test. Also they have a patient portal that doesn’t work so you can’t get your corona virus results.
I tried to rich front deck by phone for 3 days to change my medication by calling at least 5 times per day, no one could fix it for me, still didnt get it :-(.They couldnt even tell me who was my doctor.NEVER AGAIN!
PA took time to discuss issues I was experiencing and propose treatment.
Fantastic and helpful urgent care. My provider was amazing and the staff wonderful.
Very clean. Social distancing, efficient and friendly, kind staff. It was a very positive experience. I recommend
The lady at the front desk seems least interested in her work....short and curt. Someone who deserves a job should be in her place.
That office is fabulously professional and prompt. Nancy has seen me in the past and is always the best
Wait time is less than 10 minute. Very professional stuff. Neat and clean facility. Highly recommend.
Better than CityMD. No wait, super nice and thourough staff, and quick. Plus, they take pretty much all insurance.
This Northwell Health Urgent Care on 8th Street is an extraordinary lifeline to the community.
I’ve always had a positive experience at this healthcare facility.
