Dr. Zola is the doctor you want for a vasectomy. I dont know what else to say that hasnt been said. He keeps it light and works with a skillful hand on a procedure that feels particularly vulnerable. This isnt a side gig for him. Its all he does and it shows. His bedside manner is better than any doctor Ive ever met. It feels like youre on an Amazon boat tour and hes keeping you informed of whats going on and telling jokes along the way. I wont hesitate to recommend him to anyone within a days drive.

Dr. Zola is simply amazing! Super nice office, very clean. Dr. Zola quickly put my wandering mind at ease. He is very thorough with explaining the procedure, and the aftercare. He answered all my questions. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better doctor for having a vasectomy. The procedure itself was painless and a whole lot quicker than I could have imagined. For my particular appointment it lasted less than a hour. But 20 minutes of that was talking and the other 25 min was the procedure itself. And then another 5-10 min of talking aftercare and whats to be expected. He was very sincere, and kind. And for me that goes a long long way.

Echoing other reviewers in saying Dr. Zola is extremely thorough, will gladly answer any questions you have and even includes his personal cell phone number in case you have any concerns during the healing process. His bedside manner will make you feel as comfortable as can be using humor, education and being very personable. He explains the process before and during the procedure and checks on you frequently to make sure you arent in pain. You can tell he genuinely cares about each of his patients and has a passion for providing the least-invasive and affordable healthcare in the form of vasectomies. My husband and I were late to the appointment and felt completely awful - Dr. Zola had every right to turn us away and have us reschedule BUT, instead, he squeezed us in anyways. We are endlessly grateful as there was a 3 month wait and an hour drive each way. Will be referring anybody considering vasectomy to his clinic!

I HIGHLY recommend South Sound Vasectomy. I can’t believe I took so long to have such a simple procedure.The worst part was the self-induced anxiety around having a very sensitive part of my body worked on. Dr. Zola was amazing at putting me (and two other AMABs I sent there) at ease while performing an awkward procedure. It was truly no needle and no scalpel. Dr. Zola did an excellent job explaining the procedure and preparing me for the very light momentary discomfort like a rubber band snap twice. After that he was quick, avoided causing any physical discomfort, and kept conversation while gauging my comfort the whole time.Recovery was fast (day two really was the worst) and honestly I’ve had more debilitating hangovers.I chose the single visit option as I went in fully understanding the procedure and sure of my decision. This meant I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket with my insurance coverage.Last the view from the procedure chair is the second or third best view I’ve had while not having the procedure area covered with pants!

Dr Zola walked through the process and what to expect each step along the way - very clear and straightforward. During the procedure he lets you know what to expect and checks in frequently to ensure youre comfortable.The consultation and procedure can be done all within an hour on the same appointment (or separate if preferred). The procedure was nearly painless, and had a short recovery time.If youre considering it, I highly recommend setting up a consultation!

Highly recommend. There is a reason for the great reviews. The doctor is very upfront and honest and very experienced with thousands of surgeries under his belt (no pun intended). I went to another doctor who said I had to go under general anesthesia due to my anatomy. It didn’t feel right so I came here for a second opinion. Dr. Zola had me in and out in less than a half hour. If you are going to get it done, you’ve found the right place.

There’s a reason Dr. Zola has five stars. Truly wish every physician could be modeled after him. He’s fantastic, funny, straight forward and easy to be around.I’m pregnant and literally due a day now, so my husband getting his vasectomy now was definitely a unique situation, but we felt so comfortable and not judged. Procedure wise it was a breeze for my husband, and all is well since then!Ample parking, great location and friendly receptionist as well :)

Amazing experience. I had my procedure done 12 weeks ago and awaiting the final results. Dr Zola was fast and funny. I was super nervous heading in and by the end was curious as to why I even worried. I was a little soar for a couple days but in a matter of no time I was back to my old self. My wife and I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable experience considering the circumstances. I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

If youre on the fence about getting your procedure, I HIGHLY suggest going in and getting a consultation at the least. The procedure really isnt as uncomfortable as you might think it is. (Think that dull ache that comes about 15 minutes after being hit in the nads.) As many can attest it was pain free, quick, and actually a comforting experience. Dr. Zola definitely makes you feel relaxed and at ease. I cant stress enough how pleasant of an experience it was. The office is clean and nice, the staff is personable (We made small talk because I arrived 20 minutes early.) They make it comfortable for everyone involved. My SO was present and even got to watch! Absolutely fantastic experience! Dr. Zola did an awesome job making me feel comfortable with everything. I was super nervous and worried over nothing at all. The process was quick and painless. Recovery was quick and easy. He called the next day to make sure I was good to go and if I had any questions. I wish I wouldve known it was this easy, I wouldve gotten it done much sooner. I was nervous to get my vasectomy as all guys are. Doctor Zola was very gentle and constantly talked to me and my wife during the procedure about random stuff which made me feel more comfortable. If I felt a little uncomfortable in the area he was working on he would stop what he was doing and use more anesthetic. Im very glad I had this doctor work on me and Im convinced hes one of the best.

I don’t typically post reviews, but I really feel like I need to share the experience I had with something so sensitive/scary/stressful, etc. for most men considering how amazing my experience was.Dr. Zola and his team are professionals. They made me feel relaxed and at ease through the whole process. I was in and out in about 30 mins. Office is clean and well kept. Dr. Zola explained the entire process and made sure I was comfortable the entire time I was in his care. He goes through each step, what it does and why, and is very thorough with after care and what to look out for. I got a follow up call the day after to check how I was feeling and a direct line to call anytime with concerns or questions. I can say the procedure is painless just a tad bit of quick discomfort and overall nothing to be afraid of or stressed over. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Zola to anyone looking to have this done!!

Dr Zola was extremely professional and spent as much time as I wanted to answer questions and talk about the procedure.The view from the room was great and overall it wasnt a bad experience at all. It took about 3 days for recovery and even received a call from Dr. Zola the day after to make sure I was okay.If youre considering getting a vasectomy, this is the guy to do it. 10/10

My experience here was the exact opposite of what I expected. I expected a cold windowless exam room, not much for conversation or bedside manner, just assembly line in-and out. But Dr. Zola has a good sense of humor and makes it an extremely easy and relaxing process. He even personally calls you the next day to check on you, even if its a weekend and his day off. I highly recommend Dr. Zola to any guy thats looking to get a vasectomy.

Honestly the best place to get this delicate procedure done. Ive only had 1 vasectomy but the bar of excellence set by Dr. Zola would be impossible to surpass. They made the whole experience quick, easy, virtually painless, and very affordable - with all the desired options (no scalpel, open ended vasectomy, etc). The humor included is a definitive plus.

South Sound Vasectomy is in a wonderful office setting along the West Bay of Bud Inlet. This professional office setting is far different then a germ filled medical office with sick people all around. The office has an open and airy feeling about it, lots of whites, nature scenes and a few bonsai plants on the counter tops. As the patient you are immediately put as ease with the calmness of the office and DR. Zola’s demeanor. Let’s face it this is not an easy procedure to think about or even taking the step to have it done. The consultation was very thorough and informative, we felt comfortable enough at that time to schedule the procedure. DR Zola’s wife runs the office and took care of all the insurance questions and billing, at no time did I have to try to figure any of that out myself. Thank you!!! The procedure was completely painless, the DR makes sure you are prepared prior to the procedure. I listened to some music and had a nice discussion with him. After what seemed like 10 minutes, I was all finished up, I think it was more like 30 to 35 minutes. DR Zola gave me a to go bag with some care instructions a prescription to help ease the pain and even a couple of chocolates to make things easier. DR Zola called me the next day to see how I was doing, I told him everything was fine ands that I was feeling good, he instructed me to take it easy and chill out for a few days, he is a true professional and he really cares about his patients and cares about the whole procedure. I would recommend to anyone to go see the Zola’s at South Sound Vasectomy for their procedure, all the horror stories you have heard in the past are simply not the case here. 5 stars all the way.

If all medical care was this honest and easy there would be a fundamental different view of medicine in this country. Dr. Zola was incredibly knowledgeable, thurough in his explanation and patient with answering questions. The procedure was easy as could be and there was genuine care throughout the expirence.I have referred a friend to Dr. Zola and his team already and cannot recommend him enough for your family and friends. Also, I am very sorry I forgot her name, but his office assistant is lovely as well!Great all around expirence for a expirence most men are very nervous about. Dont be. Get it done here and its quick and simple.

10/10 would recommend. Pretty much painless. Couldn’t feel the procedure one bit. It was all in my head. A lot of “mental anguish”. Dr. Zola was extremely educated and informative about the whole experience. 🙌🏻🙌🏻. Update. Day after procedure Dr. Zola called me to check up and make sure I was feeling okay and took the time to explain to me exactly what is going on and answered all of my questions. This place is awesome. If I ever for some reason had to do this over. I’d definitely go here. 👍🏼👍🏼

Dr. Zola is THE BEST and represents everything healthcare *should* be. I was my husbands support person / ride for his procedure, but Im so jealous of how he was treated here. Dr. Zola is kind, funny, and a forward-thinking healthcare professional without the ego. Everything about my husbands procedure was easy and efficient, with Dr. Zola being very honest and realistic while still acknowledging and respecting the mental / psychological hurdle a vasectomy can be for some men. My husband gave the actual procedure a 1/10 on the pain scale, and his recovery is going really well. Overall, Dr. Zola is a skilled professional going out of his way to provide patients with a comfortable procedure using the most effective, least invasive techniques. The small balance we owed after insurance was totally worth it for such a wonderful reproductive healthcare experience.Dr. Zola, when you retire, please host conferences about how to be a compassionate, realistic, forward-thinking medical professional. The industry would definitely benefit from it.

This is going to sound wierd, but if I had to do this again, I would have no hesitation. Dr. Zola is amazing. Very thorough with his explanations, humorous (which we need more doctors like that) and understanding. The consultation took longer than the procedure, and he explained everything he was doing. Painless, yes PAINLESS. I had a subtle ache sensation after the procedure, just enough to know that Spalding and Wilson are still hanging with Little Richard.If your reading this, your obviously serious about this, but are seeking reassurance due to nervousness. Dr. Zola is the guy for this task. If you watched the procedure on YouTube, first off... what were you thinking?!? Secondly those doctors are amateurs compared to Dr. Zola.Thank you Dr. Zola!

Dr.Zola and his wife were very friendly and made the whole experience fast and easy. I don’t even like my wife touching my ball’s because I’m very sensitive down there (or I’m dramatic), but thankfully Dr.Zola was honest and down to earth and prepared me with all the information I needed before hand, and the surgery turned out way easier than I expected, even for a sensitive guy like me! This doctor was amazing!! I was soo nervous after watching some videos but this experience was great. He was very informative from the beginning and willing to answer any questions I had. The best part was he talked through the whole process which kept my mind off of what was going on. For me that was gold since our mind can be our own worst enemy.

As any should man be, I was a wreck headed in here. Such an easy process and I wish I knew how simple it was prior to going in. For any dude out there in full panic mode, relax. Absolutely perfect. This is the place to go for young adults who want to be childfree by choice. Most places won’t sterilize you unless you’re 30 and already have 4 kids, not this place though.Dr Zola was supportive of our decision to be childfree and simply gave a gentle reminder of common regrets that are possible. We still went ahead with the procedure that same day and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. We’d much rather be foster parents to teens.Perfect procedure, perfect recovery, perfect facility. Dr Zola made us feel even more confident about our decision. I can’t say enough good about this place.

I went to this place because I have never seen another business with all 5 star reviews regardless of industry.The office overlooks the water has a waterfall in the lobby you can hear while getting your nuts worked in.They send you away with two chocolate balls in their aftercare kit. Communication text confirmations for someone who is terrible at appointments made this easy and flawless.

I was very pleasantly surprised how easy the procedure was. Every guy gets a bit nervous when it comes to that particular area. The amazing bed side manor and thorough explanations sure made it a heck of a lot more comfortable for this guy. If I could give 10 stars I would.

SSV was excellent! for a practice that specializes in Vasectomys Id expected it to be more cookie cutter (bad visual!)- I was pleasantly surprised to know that my questions and concerns were answered, I felt like the Dr. not only heard me but also followed up several times to check on me. during the procedure there was no surprises. SSV went the extra mile to ensure i was aware of each step and I believe that is important in this situation :) although i wont be getting another one (haha!) i highly recommend them!

Obviously this is a scary thing to have done. This facility makes you feel comfortable and the doctor made it as painless as possible. Fortunately I did not have any complications. I had it done on a Friday afternoon and I was able to go to work on Monday (I didn’t have to do any physical labor that first week). I highly recommend anyone in western Washington to have it done here.

The best an experience you can imagine when it comes to the idea and procedure of a vasectomy. Receptionist was very professional and friendly and Dr. Zola is a pro and I was well taken care of.
