Dr. Gomez is amazing. I really appreciated his help throughout testing and explaining results. I cannot complain there. The Dr who also did the HSG at the Orlando office was amazing trying to get me through that moment of discomfort. My complain is for the genetic testing. Understanding it is not associated with Brown, BUT the front desk personnel GUARANTEED me that it would go through insurance and be a maximum of 350-400 as they cannot charge more than this.Go figure, I wake up this morning to a 9k bill. I think if front desk doesnt know they should really not be making false claims and promises. Now I have this bill to worry about one which I was told would not happen. and of course Brown Fertility cannot help as they are not associated. So they just speak without knowing anything and well screwed me over in that regard. I was not really interested in fertility testing but with the information she gave me I said why not? So again my main issue is when employers give information without being properly informed and leading patients into this issue. I think training needs to be done.
So far we have liked Dr Gomez. The billing and insurance issues are annoying, but I believe all IVF clinics struggle with that (having spoken with others).UPDATE:There were a series of unfortunate events that may have been out of the control of some of our service representatives. Our IVF nurse Jimeyle has been communicating some of those issues that were no fault of hers. She has been extremely helpful with us in the more recent parts of our process since becoming more engaged with us (previously she was taking over for a different nurse who may have left the company or something).Ive upped the review to 5 stars. Jimeyle has been great and very helpful with my wife and I through every step of the way.
Truly disappointed.I walked in, saw two different individuals arguing with staff trying to get their records and in the end, the staff tried to not give the individuals their full records. Luckily one of the individuals stood their ground and got their stuff. Instantly made me worried, well, that should have been my sign. Nope, I went ahead and did my analysis with them, to only come out and be told I need to spend another few hundred as insurance didn’t accept the procedure. When I asked for the breakdown and proof they ran thru insurance, they stuttered and said well you can pay it or be sent to collections. Wow. Terrible. Forced to pay or threatened.Weeks go by. I call them for my results which they tell me they will not give me. Me, the patient. Very confused I asked why and they said it’s their policy? Well that’s weird, none of my paperwork stated I could not get my own results for something I paid to get done.Honestly, between the untrained staff, unwillingness to put things through insurance, and the complete lack of professionalism this facility offers, I can tell you, run, far far away. Get any other referral or recommendation. Brown is literally just out to screw over its patients and take their money.RUNNNNNNNNNNNN, don’t walk, run from this place.
I love Brown Fertility! They have help my family so much. Dolly is amazing! She is always so sweet and shows so much empathy for not just me but many other patients. As well as Dr. Cabrera, Dr Cabrera not only helped my sister to conceive after 10 year of infertility, he is also helping me too! They are such of great team.
Brown fertility gets the job done and I love everyone there. They are soooo nice. And it’s weird cause when I go my blood pressure is always high. lol. Jimeylie is so helpful and so sweet. Her being my go to nurse is making the process sooo much easier. She is there when I email her and she always returns my calls when she can. I know she is always busy but she took the time out to make sure I had what I needed and to make sure I was good. She is awesome!!
For my experience with us is dissatisfied, no communication for my processing it is me have to call us for my next step or drive to clinic I make this call they said that I will be called you back (no call back) question I send 3 vials the sperm we use 2 nobody call me, tell me there is 1 left, I know there is 1 left when the storage sent an email. why we dont use my whole bottle of sperm for my IVF (I think we dont care if I succeed) we make me down and scare to start again I feel we was abandoned me on my process
I don’t like how we made an appointment with them over a month ago and they took all of our information for our insurance and then our appointment comes we go in and they tell us oh insurance doesn’t cover it. So if we canceled with had to pay 75 dollars or 240 dollars for the actual test. Felt a little scamish to me. Did not appreciate it nor will we be going to them for further testing
My recent experience at Brown Clinic has been deeply disheartening, and I feel compelled to share my concerns with others considering fertility treatment at this clinic. The lack of communication and transparency has been appalling. Following a failed intrauterine insemination (IUI) procedure, my attempts to reach out for information and support were met with silence from the clinic. This lack of follow-up left me feeling abandoned and uncertain about my next steps in this journey. Moreover, the lack of transparency regarding pricing was appalling. When I inquired about the costs associated with the treatment process, I was only provided with information about the price of the insemination itself. Later, I discovered additional expenses for scans and medications, which were conveniently omitted from the initial discussion. But perhaps most troubling was the total lack of care and empathy exhibited by the clinics staff. When I called today again, seeking guidance and support, I was directed to an answering service person who, understandably, lacked the medical training to offer words of comfort or reassurance. Instead, I was simply told that if I felt comfortable, I could proceed with another round of IUI. When I requested to speak to clinical staff because I have concerns for my physical well-being due to potential side effects of medication prescribed to me, I was placed on hold indefinitely until I was forced to hang up due to my obligations at work. This experience has left me feeling unheard, unsupported, and deeply disappointed. I urge potential patients to consider their options carefully before choosing Brown Clinic, as the lack of communication, transparency, and empathy are significant concerns that should not be overlooked.
I came to the Orlando location from Tampa, because of one special lady she is such a blessing and a breathe of fresh air. She makes this ordeal a whole lot easier, she is so sweet and attentive. Yaya you are a 🌟. Thank you for caring.
Brown Fertility supported our intial journey to becoming a family and are now assisting us with growing it. Jessica IVF Coordinator at the Orlando office has been with us every step of the way. She keep things running smoothly, truly has a passion in caring for others, and is very special to us. Thank you!
This medical facility appears to be lacking in terms of patient care and professionalism. The staff members seem to be inadequately trained and lack the necessary medical expertise.Furthermore, there has been an instance of an incorrect diagnosis, necessitating a second opinion from another medical professional.Additionally, there have been difficulties in obtaining medical records from the facility, which is crucial for ongoing medical processes. Despite multiple attempts, there has been no response or cooperation from the clinic.Considering these circumstances, it may be appropriate to investigate the facility for potential malpractice and ensure that patients receive the appropriate level of care and support.
Im having a wonderful experience over at the Orlando office with my journey , Carmen , Jimeylie and Jessica have been amazing and very sweet through out the process. Thank you girls , keep up the good work
I can’t express enough gratitude for Hilarie’s exceptional care and support during my time at Brown fertility clinic. Her compassion, professionalism, and made a stressful process much easier to navigate. Hilarie took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and provide invaluable help every step of the way. Her genuine empathy and dedication to the patients truly shine through in her work. Thanks to Hilarie and the team, I felt supported and hopeful throughout my time there. I highly recommend Hilarie and or Brown fertility to anyone seeking compassionate and knowledgeable care in their fertility journey.
I have called multiple times to have my medical records sent to my OB office. Each time they state that they will forward my request to the medical records department. I have filled out the record release form and emailed them 3 times and my records have still not been sent. I am frustrated because the results of the test I had done are needed so that my OB can continue with treatment. I will not be using Brown Fertility for any treatment or procedure in the future.
I am going through the process of IVF and so far, everything is good. Love the doctors and all the nurses especially Jimeylie which is the nursing guiding me through the IVF process. Jimeylie is constantly in contact with me making sure everything is well and answering my many questions.
I had the best experience with Yarelis! She’s such a pleasure to work with! felt extremely comfortable with her at all times 🥰
Had a wonderful experience getting my eggs frozen at Brown fertility. Kristy was so kind and knowledgeable about the entire process and was able to answer any of my questions from start to finish.
To give Brown Fertility a 1 star review is being incredibly generous, they don’t even deserve that. The entire company from the front desk reception, billing, medical records, the nurses and Dr Brown demonstrated a great lack in communication, compassion, knowledge and competence. They were fully negligent in fulfilling their duties as a medical practice by failing to release my personal medical records. They have a policy that states they have 30 days from the time of receiving your records release request to process it. I personally requested my records multiple times, my new fertility physician requested multiple times as well as my husband requested his medical records. Each time I called to follow up on the process, I would speak to a new person who would pull up my chart and inform me that there was no medical records release in my chart so it hasn’t been processed. This happened 3 different times and I finally called back after waiting 65 days and the person I spoke to told me again that there were no forms in my chart. I had to resend the original email with the date and time stamp to prove that myself, my new fertility clinic and my husband made the requests. After I had to “prove” I wasn’t lying, they processed my records to transfer directly to me, my husband and my new fertility physician that day. This is a violation of my rights to have access to my medical records within a timely manner and it negatively impacted my continuation of fertility care. This same exact situation happened when I called billing to request a refund, which they said could take 120 days. I make the request for the refund, they tell me there is no way to monitor once it’s processed because they do not provide any communication and I will just have to call back to check the status. Well 90 days passes and I call Brown Fertility again, just to be told that there has never been a claim for a refund processed because they have no record that I requested it. I literally had to go back into my call logs from 3 months earlier, track down the call, date, time so that I could “prove” again that I wasn’t lying. The practice billing manager Edwin Salinas had a poor response to my frustration and again made me feel as though it was my confusion when in fact it is the poor management and workflow with in their company.I had two meeting with Dr Brown, both virtual as he is located in Jacksonville. The second time we met was for a consultation after my IVF cycle was canceled. Mind you from the time that my IVF cycle was canceled to the time I could get the earliest appt for reconsultation with him was 5 weeks. I even asked to meet with a Dr from their facility here in Orlando because I was concerned about the time delay and was denied. When we finally get to the day of the reconsultation he acts as if this is the first time he is meeting us, he’s asking us what it is we are wanting to do, etc. I explain that I had my first ever round of IVF and they canceled it 1 week in to injections due to a poor estrogen level. Dr Brown said point blank that I will never have my own children with my egg, so my only option is donor egg and to pick out a donor that looks like you and it’s only $20k. I was shocked and when I asked him to go over the labs and why he is coming to this conclusion because I knew my AMH level was good and what he was telling me didn’t make sense. He actually refused to go over any medical information and said he makes the call and that’s the only way we can proceed.I cried so hard that I felt the pain of his words deep in my soul. The office continued to call me for the next 3 days asking to set up appointments for donor egg and I felt they were pushing me into something I was not ready for and I listened to my heart and ultimately decided that I wasn’t going to proceed with Brown Fertility.Brown Fertility in my opinion is a sub par facility that specializes in creating frustration, stress and trauma for their delicate patients while simultaneously giving you a false hope that this is the right place for you, it’s not.
I had a wonderful experience with Brown Fertility. Kristy was so attentive and knowledgeable. She made the entire process easy and pleasant.
I was referred to this clinic because we have been trying to have a child for a long time, my husband has low sperm production and quality, the doctor in Jacksonville only gave hcg and wanted me to freeze my eggs, I feel disappointed because they didnt explain About the next steps, they didnt give the option of insimination, and I spoke to a close friend and she also felt kind of abandoned by the clinic. Im looking for another clinic because we dont want to wait too long, and after the consultation with the doctor we looked for a doctor in Brazil so he could recover my husbands hormonal axis, and he did a lot of things in addition to the hcg, so I missed it a little. study of the doctor, perhaps he knows how to treat women and not men.🤔
Shout out to Ines Maldonado for her quick communication, willingness to help with something that isn’t technically her department, and ability to help resolve issues over email when no one else is able to help over the phone.I got the genetic testing and had been told it would cost no more than $249. Received a bill from the third party for $750. Called the third party, and they said to call provider.Called Brown Fertility billing dept. and the poor billing rep was so clueless and lost, I knew she’d be of no help. She didn’t even know that Natera is the third party and kept mentioning that a biopsy is $4,000. I could not, for the life of me, steer this uninformed soul in the right direction. The only thing I could think to do was email Ines Maldonado and see if she could connect me to the right person or help me herself. She jumped right on it and told me what to do. Surprisingly, I only had to call the third party and tell them what I am supposed to owe…. Maybe I should have said $10! Anyway, it worked. Thanks Ines!
Dealing with Brown Fertility was extremely frustrating, as a previous review said there is 0 communication, broken equipment causing us to have to drive across state for a scan, rushed consultations. Don’t waste your time or money on even consulting with this clinic. We went to another IVF clinic for a second opinion and the difference was night and day! And our new care provider has been requesting release of records from Brown for over a month and they still haven’t sent the paperwork, and told us they have nothing on file about the request which we know is not true because our new provider literally called them to check in on the records right in front of us! My husband and I feel gaslit and cheated out of our consultation fees and time wasted with this clinic.
My experience has been nothing but complete frustration, dissapointment and waste of money with Brown Fertility. To start I have only met the Doctor ONE time in the 3 cycles that we have signed for and it was for a 10 min telehealth visit to give the go ahead to start. Mind you I was on hold for the telehealth call for over 1 1/2 hours because they had to verify that I had made my payment in full (which I did and had receipts for). On that 1st cycle, we were assigned the worst possible nurse who NEVER answered emails, sent prescriptions to the incorrect pharmacy after having being told which pharmacy to send it to, and did not respond to the preauthorization requests from the pharmacy. I spent over 4 hours on the phone between Brown and the pharmacy and to sum it up, I ended up started my meds a day late. That 1st cycle was unsuccessful and for the second we were assigned to a Nurse Practioner, again no compassion and no actual Doctor. The 2nd round they discovered a polyp and said that couldve been why it didnt stick the 1st time. They did so many ultrasounds so how was this not seen before? Anyways that transfer was cancelled due to to many eggs retrieved and I was supposed to take a medication to lower my levels which I didnt receive until a week later because AGAIN no one would answer the calls to my pharmacy. I called about having severe headaches that impaired me from working and no follow up was given. Now on to the 3rd cycle and it was just cancelled due to elevated levels in my blood work that never existed in any other cycle. No further explanation was given except we have to schedule a follow up. All I asked was for the blood to be drawn once again just to make sure before canceling since we spent hundreds of dollars on medication that is going to expire and request was denied. They have nurses call you that are unable to answer questions. The IVF journey is already an emotional, stressful and financially straining journey. I have not received one ounce of compassion or felt like Ive actually been seen as a patient or offered any options. I will be completing my followup and moving to a different practice that actually prioritizes patient care. Now on to receiving my money back for credits that I have which Im sure will be another battle.
I like Dr. Cabrera and the majority of his nurses/staff. He is a very serious, no-nonsense professional who knows his stuff. I am turning 37 this year, and from the very beginning of our fertility journey, which started last year, he was very straight-forward about prices and the lowered chances of achieving pregnancy for women of my age. I appreciated that he set us up for realistic expectations, as recurring disappointment is a frequent phenomenon surrounding the whole infertility thing.Aside from this professionalism and honesty, here are some highlights from our journey deserving of thanks to Dr. Cabrera and his team, in consecutive order:During the laparoscopy, Dr. Cabrera discovered that I do indeed have a very mild case of endometriosis. He removed the lesions, removed a cyst, and left me with regular periods that no longer have week-long spotting before. Others had suspected I had endometriosis, but this was the only way to diagnose it for sure and clear up issues that can cause infertility. It turns out mine didnt have to do with my infertility, but I do feel much better in general.Recently, after an ultrasound, he gave me a fertility med, checked back to make sure conditions for IUI were right, and seeing that they were (I had one healthy, mature ovary at the time), he instructed us on how to do the trigger shot and performed our IUI procedure in a timely manner. It was quick and painless, and I left feeling informed and confident. Two weeks after our very first IUI treatment (two ultrasounds, genetic testing for both, plenty of bloodwork, roughly $2,000), we are pregnant for the first time ever, and as one could imagine, we are ecstatic and praying for a smooth journey with no complications. In sum, I cant complain. Even if we hadnt gotten pregnant this time around, we would have definitely tried again through this company, as we have experienced mostly professionalism and transparency. No place is perfect, and we did have a few miscommunications and encounters with an attitudinal phone rep here and there, but overall the experience has been very good.I am surprised this place has such terrible reviews, but maybe those are for the other doctors. Dr. Cabrera seems like a very good man and one who takes his work seriously. My husband and I value this expertise, as we very much respect science and higher education, and Dr. Cabreras work and knowledge embody this aspect. Thanks, guys!
Which I could give them zero stars. The office is disorganized and lacks communication. They don’t change your protocol, lost two years in this clinic. Do your research if you can find another place, do it. The billing department took over 120 days for a refund and it was not in the amount they advised was going to receive.
I dont think I was ever going to leave a review for this clinic, but after finding another one I felt like I should. Ive had a total of 4 different cycles/treatments with Brown and nothing was ever changed with my specific plan. Despite all 4 failing, they always thought the same brand/dosage of medication was fine and my body was responding well to it, but yet still not pregnant. My doctor was Dr. Gomez and I saw him ONCE (for less than 10 min) out of the dozens of times Ive had appointments. He never performed any procedure, never called me, emailed me... nothing. That never sat well with me. The only good thing was the nursing staff. They are phenomenal!! However, if Im paying thousands of dollars Id like for my assigned doctor to show me some type of empathy at the very least communicate with me or ask me if I have any questions or concerns. I just didnt feel cared for at Brown. I felt like they were just happy to take my money and didnt care if my treatments worked or not just as long as my card was approved, all was good. Infertility is such a delicate and sensitive topic for me so I need a team who wants me to succeed and will do everything in their power to get me there. That is ultimately why I decided to part ways with Brown. My greatest piece of advice is to do THOROUGH RESEARCH before deciding where you go. If you dont mind feeling like just another number in the system, this is the place for you! If youd like a little bit more compassion, would not recommend at all :(
These offices are a hot mess. Lack of communication between themselves, cancelled visits, broken machines. I cannot believe they deal with something so delicate as fertility services. My appointment was cancelled and no one told me; in fact, I called to get the antibiotic I was supposed to take because up to that point no one had called or sent the medication to the pharmacy. They apologized and sent me the antibiotic and told me to take it BUT my appointment had been cancelled days before because the machine had not been working. Apparently no one knew only the one person that called me the morning of the exam to ask if I was going two hours away to the other office. I mean, how did only one person knew that the exam had been cancelled days ago and the rest of the office is sending me to take medication? Being that this exam can only be done during certain times of the month, it ruined a trip I had scheduled and pushed everything back. UGH! Because of the late notice and the limited window oif time, I was unable to reschedule with a different practice. So, I had to reschedule with them a month later. Never heard from anyone, so I called a couple days before since I needed to confirm how to take the antibiotic. Come to find out the machine was still broken and they had scheduled me for a different exam (not at all what the doctor ordered). I was livid, again. Ended up having to drive two hours to make it there. The day before the exam, they moved my appointment to an earlier time. Mind you, I am driving two hours and having to ask someone to go with me. UGH! The nurse who took my vitals was ok. Kind of dry for this type of practice, but whatever. I did not see a doctor as my appointment indicated, but a nurse practitioner. She was nice at least, because everyone else in that office seemed very miserable. The exam was VEY painful and the person at the front desk never mentioned I could have asked for laughing gas. She never offered it as an option or explained. WHY??? I am done with these people, and I hope I dont have to go back.
IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!!Please dont waste your time or money! They do not review any medical records before your appointment. Doctor barely spoke English and had no sympathy for our situation. We walked out while speaking to the doctor. Also, you will find the staff laying around in chairs as you are walking through this very cold office. All I can say is good luck if you decide to move forward.
Jimeily is an excellent coordinator, always attentive, willing to help her patients and empathetic. Grateful for your help and service, 100% recommended
If you can find another place, do it. The staff does nothing. Something needs to be done, had to give insurance information multiple times because they have not recorded nothing. This is in the span of a week, you forgot my insurance information?? Then gives proscription for medication that was supposed to be filled 3 days before procedure on the day of the procedure. Then the kicker, no address of where the proscription is going to on paper. Go back to find out the address, get address, go to location, NO PROSCRIPTION HAS BIN SENT TO THE LOCATION 😳😡🤬 now am waiting another day for a medication that I should have gotten 3 days prior, that is supposed to prevent a bacterial infection from the procedure, that they perform. Yall better fix it, by improving yall staff. People who actually work and not rush through everything just to go sit and run they mouth about people business. Or yall will be paying for it in court 💸💸💸💸💸
The billing department is a joke . We did few procedures here and every time I check out they say , insurance will take care of it . After an year I got $4500 bill home telling my insurance was not setup correctly and someone caught it after an year . I and my husband had to call the billing multiple times and talk with various people to sort it out - seems like they missed it and finally decided to send me a bill . We kept on calling insurance and they said brown clinic didn’t even submit one claim so far.Very coldly they were asking me to pay outstanding amount of $4500 , as if it’s just a penny . I should have been informed ahead how much it will charge per procedure and should have cleared my dues as I was going into that clinic Atleast thrice a month for a year !!!!I won’t return to this clinic againThe physician prescribed metformin for me assuming I will be diabetic during pregnancy and my other physicians were quite surprised asking why I am taking metformin as I am not even diabetic .Edited : I see brown clinic replied asking me to email the manager . I had to call multiple times and talk with different people, and each time I got different answers . One time a lady was even so rude with me asking me to pay the $4000 and finally my insurance took the initiative to request for procedure codes and they took care of it !
If I could leave 0 stars I would. We have just left our initial consultation very unhappy. My wife and I have been going through infertility with various drs for over 4 years. And this is the worst place we have been. After asking us to fill out paper work and sign consent forms we then sit down with a nurse who spoke very little English, to go over our forms asking the same questions as on that form, then almost got frustrated when we couldn’t give this answer (language barrier) she told us she doesn’t think they have our records from previous drs, which was untrue as it was sent 2 weeks prior. When we got called through to the dr Rafael couldn’t tell you his last name as he never stood up never introduced himself not even any eye contact. He started asking the same questions as the nurse previously. When asking about my wife’s history, he proceeded to ask questions that were in all her records, I then asked if he had reviewed them ( he answered yes)When I explained that we have been doing this for a long time and are looking for a dr that can help us, a dr that has reviewed our case and understands the procedures and surgery’s my wife has been through, ( all with other drs) and a dr that can put a plan together to help us conceive, he aggressively started russling my wife’s file saying he can’t read everything in there and know what we had done. At that point I told him we are done and leaving. Unprofessional is an understatement. And I feel they would have honestly just run us through the mill doing everything we have done in the past while taking as much money as they can.DO NOT GO HERE
Worst IVF clinic! It started with the front desk rep who was rude as ever. They don’t tell you up front that procedures are done in Jacksonville not the Orlando office. The doctors and their nurse are rude. I started originally working with Dr. Gomez, on one of my ultrasound appts no one told me Dr. Cabrera and his nurse would be doing that appt, they came in and never introduced themselves and just looked at the screen with horror and disgust at a cyst, then proceeded to say I needed surgery, they push that because they have to pay off for their machines. Next appt my doctor pushed that as well. I declined, I’ve never had to have surgery, why start now? Dr. Gomez did say it wasn’t life threatening just a better chance to conceive, but cysts can reoccur which means more surgeries likely. No thanks! They mentioned having me pay over $10,000 for donor egg, they just want money, their prices are insane. And they don’t even give you a chance or have any faith in conceiving, they just want to perform surgeries on you and cut into you, all for money! I went to CNY fertility (NY has better IVF clinics and more affordable) with kind staff and doctors who start conversations with positivity and give you hope, not like Brown Fertility where they make you feel as though you’re body is broken and without them you won’t conceive. I did conceive without any surgery at CNY fertility and the cost was a fraction than brown fertility.
My experience with Brown Fertility is very good, I appreciate all help I received to employees, especially Llancy I love you so much.
I wanted to continue care at Brown since we moved from the Jacksonville, FL area to the Orlando area office. Unfortunately I never get any calls returned to make my first appointment. I’ve been getting the run around for a week. Highly disappointed since I did like the Jacksonville office. But the Orlando office is bad with communication. Since I can’t get anyone to return calls I’ll need to change my referral.
Im not usually one to write reviews but please do research before you pick a clinic. I really wish I had. I spent $25,000 with Brown because they told me that my tube tie procedure was too long ago to be reversed, really it was because they can make more money off of multiple rounds of IVF than one reversal surgery. The only round we did was not successful and I didnt feel an ounce of compassion from the team that it had failed, they were just ready for me to pay more to try again.I did research and found a doctor who told me my reversal would be super simple, and guess what it was! I am now 5 months pregnant and I wish I had got a second opinion from the very beginning. The worst part was that I had a $3,000 credit on my account from an over payment for over 6 months and I only found out about it when I asked for payment records for my taxes. When I asked for a refund, I had to go through a whole process and it took 120 days to get the money back!? But you have to pay them 1000% upfront before they will even look at you.I pray for everyone who is going through fertility issues and I hope you can find a better team than Brown.OHHH and the best part of all, when it came time for my transfer they almost inserted the wrong embryos! The embryologist came out with embryos for someone with the last name Martinez and the doctor had to correct him and get the right ones. Meanwhile Imon the table FREEZING waiting with all of myself exposed.
I had treatment in this clinic and had a great experience! Yarelis the MA was so sweet and kind.
The staff here are so helpful, especially Carmen. She was very kind and willingly to answer every question I had.
RUDE-Cabrera could not have been LESS INTERESTED in helping. He even told me to go back to my old provider...
We had a wonderful experience with Brown Fertility. Everyone was very friendly and happy. The doctors and nurses are great at explaining each step of the process. We had huge success and welcomed twins in July! I would highly recommend Brown Fertility.
The receptionist Carmen and the MA’s Yarelis and Hilary are so sweet , my experience was great and I’m looking forward for my next appointment .thank you girls
I never had a semen analysis done but Yarelis here at the clinic helped me throughout the whole process. Thank you !
I cannot say enough good things about Brown Fertility. We started with an IVF doctor in Orlando because we live 2 hours south of there, after being dismissed from his practice because I was too hard to get a hold of, no kidding, they dismissed me and I found Brown Fertility in Orlando. Had all of my visits with Dr. Cabrera and Cammie, then had my actual procedures with Dr. Brown and Dr. Rose in Jacksonville. After the procedure we ended up with an 8.6lbs baby girl and we would do it all over again if needed even though we are 5 hours south. From the time you walk in their door at both locations you are greeted with respect and kindness. Thank you all at Brown Fertility!
I’m currently a patient at Fertility of Orlando and needed a second opinion due to having my first IVF frozen embryo transfer fail. During my new patient consultation I learned so much MORE within one hour than I have under Fertility of Orlando’s care since JULY of 2022! At Browns I received sympathy, respect, knowledge and support.Thank you so much team.Truly mean it, you have given me hope in becoming a mother soon!
There are many fertility clinics in Orlando and I can promise even the worst is better than Brown fertility. They’ll comment here and promise the experience will be better next time and they are improving. It won’t be. They cover too much ground with the locations, the communication is nil. Offices everywhere with literally one person doing billing that’s overworked and has no help. (Ask me how I know). Someone commented that it’s mere luck they have success- this statement couldn’t be more true. Are they helping people sure, but if you want to be forgotten, call a million times to get your calendar, wait 2 hours for an appointment, and not be told your embryo grading before the transfer (let alone how many you even had) then Brown Fertility is right up your alley. 3 IUIs and 2 rounds of IVF. We wore the shirt and I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to any Brown Fertility location.
We went to 2 separate offices in the central Florida area and had horrible experiences at both locations due to the office staff. The doctor we worked with at the Orlando location was wonderful, but that was the only positive. Unfortunately, the front desk staff and the nurses were very rude and unprofessional in both locations. In a medical setting, you often interact with nurses and front desk staff more than with the doctors so they can make or break the experience. We constantly felt like we were interrupting their side conversations with their peers and we were embarrassed when they shouted our medical information loudly across the waiting area when they went to communicate with other workers. We understand that everyone has bad days but there wasn’t a single visit that we weren’t receiving a bad attitude from the staff. So grateful we switched to another clinic, just wish we had done so sooner!
I would highly recommend this practice!! After seeking treatment at two other Orlando fertility clinics I was referred by a friend to Dr.Brown. It just felt right from the first visit. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and compassionate. They went above and beyond helping us find the cheapest meds, following me longer than normal to help ease my anxiety from a previous miscarriage, called to check on us, etc. Unfortunately we had a couple failed attempts before we finally got pregnant with our twins. They are truly a top of the line practice and their success stats support this. We could NEVER thank them enough for giving us the chance to become parents.
This is from a (husband) point of view with my wife. I don’t think she will get on here to leave the negative review so I will.. especially since I own my own business and get reported reviews. So let’s get into it! So my wife and I have been trying to conceive for sometime now going through the struggle. We decided this would be a good place to start.. we were sat down and told that my wife would almost have a 0% on giving birth naturally because of a tube issue of hers. Which makes makes you feel lifted right?… she also had blood work that day as they fished in her arms as blood was going everywhere… as if it were there first day on the job. Then, we were ready to do a surgery this morning and fasted, used special shampoo drove to the hospital & were mentally prepared for surgery…. Then to be told that the surgical procedure was cancelled due to other reasons for my wife’s primary who ordered an eco. Which is understandable. But we were never informed. So here’s a day spent and a dollar short for an “oops!” Sorry but hey! We can write you a doctors note for you’re work… no… my wife wasn’t happy the first day we went. Nothing was uplifting… if anything upsetting on her end. And more of a “money scheme”I wouldn’t recommend this place… as a husband to a woman trying to not waste time and conceive.
What a disappointing 2nd visit in the Orlando office! The front desk agent has the worst customer service, treated me like she was out to get my money and that was it, no remorse, no compassion, no communication and even when i asked to be referred to someone who can better advise me on paperwork and billing, she didnt seem to have the information. Needless to say, am looking forward to start treatment and I have no documentation on any steps to take. This is the 1st clinic Ive been that they give you no information, no cost breakdown and also dont verify insurance costs and need for referrals before your visit. Its a shame that agents can ruin clinic reviews for the doctors.
As a patient coming from a different clinic to start a new adventure with Brown Fertility I can certainly say that they are a great deal, here in Orlando either for their professionalism or personal attention. They understand that such process can cause a great deal of stress on the patients so they do their best to assist and accommodate. So far our personal journey had been positive, Dr Cabrera is easy to speak to and is willing to answer all the questions and concerns we have, his nurse staff are kind and helpful and you can tell they care for their patients.Jacksonville Office is as good as Orlando one, we only went there for the big days ( retrieval & transfer ) we had a chance to talk to Dr Brown himself while we were there and he was very personable and down to earth, gave us ample of time to respond to all our questions.Over all so far our energy is very positive taking this Journey all over again with them and cannot wait for that positive two strips we are all searching for :)
Ill start by saying they are crowded. They have many facilities with many patients. However, if you can stand the wait and are committed to the process they are devoted to helping you. The wait times are long because they do not rush when they are assisting you. When they are in the room with you they are in the room with you! Answering questions and giving vital information that will help make your decisions or inform you. Dr. Gomez is an amazing physician and has helped me. Ive worked with him closely for nearly two years. He provided me with surgical percedures, and helpful routes to try and conceive. Some people write reviews out of bitterness because they do not get there desired results. Im here to tell you that infertility is no joke, its long, painful, and lonely. But brown fertility provides the care you deserve. They are crowded so you are not their only patient. You need to be the one to follow up and make appointments and keep your records. But they will help! The staff is kind and caring and sympathetic. Had our path gone a different way, I would trust my infertility care with Dr. GOMEZ and his associates. This is a stand up clinic doing great things for great people!
I have been trying for weeks to have my medical records sent to my OB. I have spoke to MANY different office ladies who say they will “take care of it” and nothing is ever done. Everytime I call, it’s like the first time again, asking for my OB name and info that I have already shared many times. I have emailed my record release twice, and I have an appointment in the morning with my OB who really needs to see my bloodwork!!! This unprofessionalism is ridiculous and I am very stressed. How do I talk to someone who will actually help me!?
I am fascinated with Jimeylie him, he has been taking care of every step during this new cycle!thank you so much 🙏
Believe the negative reviews. From my first appointment to cancelling my last appointment (I will not be going back!) trying to work with this office has been one of the most stressful, least pleasant experiences of my life, and Im in the military and have served in several combat zones. If they have high fertility rates, its by chance, or definitely something other than customer service or communication skills. You cant get through to anyone on the phone, they dont tell you what you need to know for your labs, genetic screening, your HSG. My husband had significant problems with scheduling, the paperwork and then was given a hard time at his appointment about the insurance even though I had given the clinic all of the insurance information. I do not recommend this clinic. My insurance at the time I started only covered this facility or I would have taken the negative reviews more seriously. Hind sight is 2020, use my bad experience to avoid your own. And to the company... please dont respond to this posting giving poor excuses about how your high fertility rates have led to high demand and your working to give the best possible care. Its clear that its about the $$$ otherwise the company would adapt and hire enough people to handle the increased demand. Nor should you ask me to reach out to you so you can make it up to me. The company had multiple chances to make things right and didnt. Thats time lost and multiple eggs lost = multiple chances to get pregnant lost. Theres no making up for that.
When my wife and I first went to Brown fertility clinic we felt like they were a go fit but shortly after starting the process it became clear that we were just a pay check to them. They vary rarely did or followed through on any of the things that they told us in the initial meeting would happen. They made us feel like just a number. Would constantly say someone would call and then weeks would go by with only emails trying to push us through the process that was never fully explained. Granted there supposed results are great but there communication is lacking especially when you’re paying over 20k for there services. If anyone wants communication and to have expectations met that they tell you in your initial consult this not the clinic you want to use.
Brown fertility has been the most incredible, yet emotional journey. I went from all the doctors in Orlando telling me I had less than 3% chance of conceiving to Dr Cabrera helping me achieve my miracle. Today my miracle is 6 months old. Brown fertility was such a blessing in my husband and I life. They held our hands every step of the way. They were the answer to our prayers. Thank you Dr Cabrera and his team for everything you have done for our family. We are so in love with our new life thanks to you all!
Brown doesnt feel like a doctor/patient experience. They will forget to chart your information, theyll consistently change your appointment times, they will lose forms they ask you to fill out, and they will belittle you during appointments. I have asked to speak with a supervisor multiple times and no one has contacted me. Ive been very disappointed with their services. They still havent sent my records elsewhere even though I completed the request over a month ago.
Update: if you go here they will charge you to pick up your own embryos. They also dont care about you if the process doesnt work for you. And they do not send your records if you go to a new doctor. Also they do not give you options for your own journey and you have to travel to Jacksonville for any procedures. I do not suggest going to this clinic.Everyone is so helpful and kind. We love Dr Cabrera and everyone in this office. Even the doctors and nurses in Jacksonville are all so caring even not knowing me and my husband very well.
If you are Self paying it is now 150$ for a copay not 100$, they changed it starting August 1st 2023. I made my appointment on July 28th 2023 and they neglected to tell me that when August 8th 2023(my appointment date) came. Im only giving it one star because they agreed to let me only pay the $100 but its the fact that they werent honest from the very beginning. Just keep that in mind when youre trying to schedule something here.
The absolute worst with communication. I’m a VA patient and they do NOT tell you what labs to do, I kept getting the run around and missed my initial labs. Instead I was told just show the generic paper from what’s in the folder, give our fax number and the VA will know per the Medical assistant in Orlando. WRONG!! What a complete waste of a day. I spent two hours at the VA with the nurse on hold trying to get a hold of someone..Update- I spoke to Operations and they truly are helpful in getting you what you need from this facility. They were quick to respond and understanding! Thank you so much for assisting me on getting me what I need : )
I have meet Llancy during my first visit to Dr Cabrera and definitely i can say she was able to calm me down. I was super nervous she is very knowledgeable and committed to this.
The worst customer service from the office manager, nurse practicionner and the doctor, they put pressure on you to make you talk about medical analysis instead of reaching out to my previous doctor. They want to get your money and make you do the whole treatment with them over again otherwise they will call you dishonest and make it even illegal to treat you!!they treat patient like garbage, doctor Gomez was hidding in the office sending some rude unprofessional stuff!!!please never go there and never trust them with your treament they are all about money. mistreating and disrespecting people without working in collaboration with other doctors or clinics.I will never recommend them even to my ennemi
Shelly is the best ! She’s so helpful and she was already leaving but stayed and helped me .. Thank you so much :)
Nurse Practitioner Amanda Hill is so attentive and caring. She always takes the time to listen to concerns and explains everything very clearly. She truly cares about her patients. The staff are excellent as well. They are all a pleasure to deal with.
I am only giving two stars 1 for my doctor himself Dr Cabrera and 2 because I actually got pregnant. Everything else was a bruital experience, literally the entire staff is terrible to work with, they always forget to send prescriptions when supposed to, I nearly missed my incimination because hey forgot to send the prescription. after I got pregnant you’re supposed to see the doctor every 2 weeks for the 1st trimester, coincidentally the only appointments they have are 6 weeks apart. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone at the office, god forbid you actually need help from the doctor- because you’re not going to get any from this place. Phone wait time are never less than 45 minutes and there is only 1 phone agent answering all calls for all offices and she’s in Jacksonville, so if you’re not in Jackson I’ll expect an answer 2 weeks later, IF you ever do get one. Don’t even ask for a call back, you won’t get one, especially from the phone lines - if you do actually go to brown don’t ever ask for a call back when you’re waiting on the phone to speak to someone - they won’t. You’ll end up waiting for an hour again. Lastly we resulted to just going to my gyno after week 8 since we couldn’t see our fertility doctor for 8 weeks, we asked our records to be sent to my GYNO twice I called and they never sent them, finally they day of my appointment I’m informed they still had nothing. So again I’m on the waiting phone game with their terrible phone operators - in Jacksonville meanwhile I am trying to speak to someone in orlando. We missed our gyno appointment because they wouldn’t take us without our records and had to reschedule. Ridiculous. Do you yourselves a favor and save the anxiety and stress go ANYWHERE else.
We chose Brown Fertility because of their credentials and success stories and it has not failed us so far. The staff is kind and supportive. Dr. Cabrera is informative and pleasant and truly provides you with not only the medical and professional support but also with options tailored to your individual needs. We could not have made a better choice and looking forward to taking this journey with this medical facility.
Had an anmazing experience at Brown fertility. Yarelis was so kind and helpful!
I am so thankful to Dr Cabrera and his team. Infertility is a difficult journey for anyone. He was very honest with us. He let us know about embryo adoption and we were able to adopt a set of donated embryos. After 2 FETs, we brought home our perfect baby girl. Shes 17 months now and we are so blessed! Thank you Dr Cabrera and Dr Brown!!! Highly recommend!
I was a patient at Brown Fertility (Orlando) for a little over a year and cannot say enough good things. The entire staff is wonderful! They take the time to get to know the patient personally and were amazing throughout our entire journey. I was especially impressed with nurse practitioner Cami. She was great at explaining the process to us and answered any and all questions we had. We would definitely recommend Brown Fertility!
Dr Brown is AMAZING! My story starts in 2015 when I went to my OB/GYN and let her know that after 12 years my husband and I wanted to have a child! We had ben trying for quite a while at this point so we wanted to talk to her about it. She was amazing, she wanted to be sure I was healthy and ready for a child. Unfortunately after multiple tests, it was found that I had Endometrial adenocarcinoma or CANCER. We were devastated. I saw an oncologist and begged to try before having a hysterectomy. He said ok we will try, so 2 years of medication and hell and i got the ok. I saw a fertility Dr in Daytona and he was the WORST. He told me it wouldnt happen and I should consider having the surgery and also recommended I have weight loss surgery. I was devastated again. Thankfully I went to Dr Brown next and he gave me HOPE. I underwent IVF and first cycle was pregnant a true miracle! Benjamin is 4 years old and we are praying for a 2nd Miracle. Thanks to Dr Brown and his amazing team that was willing to work with me and did everything they could I am a Mom! Dont lose hope! Call them!
Very awful experience with Dr Cabrera, I’ll like to start saying that they have more patients that they can handle properly; this office is always crowded and doctors are rushed so you get the feeling to be just a number. My spouse had scheduled a water ultrasound and I was seated on the side while waiting for Dr Cabrera. He got in, didn’t explained what he was going to do, suddenly I just saw a couple of swabs tinted red getting inside her when I asked what was that, he said that was Iodine… my eyes popped and yelled that she was allergic to Iodine… everybody started running like chicken without heads trying to flushed water inside her to washed the Iodine. Nobody asked if she was allergic before the procedure and neither check her profile, he finished the procedure and we asked them to get a prescription to fight an allergic reaction and at first they didn’t want to provide it. My spouse took a bomb of medications to fight an allergic reaction and after a week she was still feeling cramps, what a surprise she expelled a rubber cap that was left inside her during that procedure. I don’t have to explain that we didn’t go back to that office and change to another doctor. Not recommend it at all. Some people have good experience ours was a horror movie.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to express my appreciation for the nurse practitioner, Amanda Hill. She is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and helped ease my anxiety. This process isn’t fun for anyone, but having someone who listens and truly cares makes such a difference. I highly recommend seeing her.
Brown fertility was a blessing for our family. Dr. Cabrera was always there for my husband and I. He was honest and patience with our process. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. We are grateful we choose Brown fertility to help us achieve our goals as parents. Once again thank you so much for our beautiful 2 year old girl.
Terrible bed side manner. I went here to have a HSG procedure done and they treated me like I wasnt even a person. This was very painful procedure to have to the point I couldnt go through with it . The Doctor and the nurses showed no compassion for what this meant for me at all . No encouragement, hold my hand or something , you guys just need to do better with your compassion to your patients overall.
Everyone at the office is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are easily accessible and stay in constant communication every step of the way. Dr. Brown made us feel completely at ease the very first time that we spoke with him. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr Brown and Dr Rose are amazing! They are easy to talk to and do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable. Kristina the IVF nurse is AMAZING! She is always there to answer questions! Even it you think your question is silly. Shes very professional and always has a smile on her face! I would have been lost through my journey without her. Although my journey isnt quite done yet, I just wanted to give credit where it is due! Brown Fertility is THE BEST!
After 2 week of waiting for mine y my husband’s appointment they call to say that the person performing my test has something else to do at the time of my appointment and I need to go hour and half early. I scheduled the appointment for both of us at the same time because we live a hour away. The day I scheduled the appointment I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them to coordinate the appointment, now they said that they can not move both appointment and if I want to go I should wait 2 hours in their office waiting for my husband appointment. The woman in the phone did not even look if their have any earlier appointments for my husband, it was take it or leave it…..
My wife and I had been trying for over 2 years. We were unsuccessful with another Orlando fertility clinic. A friend recommended Brown Fertility to us and it was the best decision we ever made. After only 2 months, our first attempt at IVF was successful. My wife and I are ecstatic to welcome our first child in November.Dr. Cabrera was extremely knowledgeable and was patient explaining things to us. Camie and the rest of the staff in the Orlando office (Suzy, Ines, and Susana) were so kind and friendly. They made every visit a breeze. I am truly thankful for the care and attention they gave my wife. I would highly recommend the Orlando office to any couple having trouble conceiving.
We had a mixed experience at Brown Fertility. Initially, the care was fantastic. They were knowledgeable and kind through the egg retrieval process. Financially, they were very reasonable. We even got pregnant through our first round of IVF. However, this is when the trouble began. When I felt something was wrong with our baby, my concerns were brushed off. I had to get my own family doctor to order labs to check on the baby. When we indeed did miscarry, the nurse who we called from the office did not know who I was, and did not even know I was pregnant. They pushed my D and C procedure back an entire week and I had to have another physician call the office to get the procedure completed sooner. I posted a previous negative review and was contacted by Dr. Brown himself who told me to take the review down or my D and C would be cancelled. After this unethical experience, I no longer felt comfortable receiving care from Brown Fertility. My husband and I recently had our embryos moved to a different facility and are being cared for by a different physician and practice. Regardless of the outcome of pregnancy, I feel it is important that prospective patients are aware of the pro and cons of this office and doctor before they invest in IVF and fertility treatments.Response to Brown Fertility Answer: I have no reason to be dishonest about our experience. Instead of being defensive, I would hope you take this opportunity to make the experience better for future families using your practice.
I had the worst experience here. I had to wait an hour to see the doctor. While I was waiting, a disgruntled patient came from the back to the front desk demanding her money back that she wasnt coming back. That should have been my sign to leave! Then when I finally met with the doctor, he quickly ran through the consultation. When I asked him a question, he told me to read the papers, its all in there. He spent 5 minutes with me. I waited an hour to be rushed out of my visit. I switched to CRM Orlando and I am having the best experience. Dr. Jaffy spent an hour talking to my husband and I during our consultation. The staff is very professional. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes. They make Brown Fertiliy look like the joke that it is!
I was initially nervous about attending a fertility clinic and put off going for a while, telling myself it would all be fine and I didn’t need to go. After repeated pregnancy loss, me and my husband eventually decided to go. I immediately wished I had just gone sooner. The staff there are so lovely and Dr.Cabrera had an approach that made us feel so at ease and relaxed. I underwent a surgery performed by Dr Cabrera and now a year later I have my little boy and me and my husband couldn’t be happier. It changed our life making the decision to visit brown fertility.
Cancelled my appointment 2 days ahead and I was still billed for a no show fee. Trying to get ahold of an actual person is almost impossible and no one returns calls. Glad I listened to the other reviews for this clinic.
Got referred by my Gyno, booked a month in advance, filled out tons of paperwork, called and setup special benefits with my insurance at facilities request, spoke to multiple people on the phone explaining my situation, had to sort out if I still had an appointment after their system glitched (multiple calls), only to be told 1 hour before my appointment today that they dont help people who need a repro endo unless theyre looking to conceive while laughing at me??? Ah, the empathy and compassion is strong here.PS- Your PDF files arent screen reader accessible. You might want to hire a specialist for that. Probably your website too. Good Luck!
After a really long time of trying, me and my husband decided to go to Brown Fertility and ended up pregnant with 2 twin girls! And we are so happy, thanks to Dr. Brown and staff! The whole community there is very welcoming and very supportive not only that but they blessed us and this is why I am sharing, to give others hope.
After contacting numerous employees regarding a refund. Brown fertility has yet to give me a straight up answer... in the past 6 months we have talked to 4 different people qho have all plead innocent as they had not worked on my case individually. Whats ironic is their procedure is all the same! Lets tell the customer what they want to hear over the phone so we continue to delay this for as long as possible. At first we got everything signed and they said it would be sent and could take a couple weeks and then nothing, they completely fell off the map with not one word from anyone at the company. How organized. The next time around we decided to use the money for the procedure. To no surprise that fell through due to poor scheduling from brown. Once again, how organized. After this all hope was lost and i decided to take matters into my own hands and call and talk to David Kloda at extension 180. Its crazy how i have to explain every thing to every employee. How about some notes in ur system software?? He plead innocent as he has not ever talked to me and he would surely help me. Well david gave me the same run around for 2 weeks i called him and heactually seemed to be a help!. But like i said they tell u what u want to gear, next mr. Kloda failed yo return a call that he hinself said he would make on his own accordance. After not hearing from david i tried to call him back with no luck . A whole week later i try to call again and finally leave a message and he finally calls back with the same run around. Its been sent to the refund committee then a couple days later he calls me back to tell me the check has been signed and would be sent out the next day. Here i am a month later with no check and no call from david kloda and most importantly not one service preformed by brown fertility in regards to the money i am seeking a refund. A little fraudulent i must say? After reading all these reviews please do yourself a favor and dont use this company. Theyre supposed to be helping rather than hurting. They operate in truly evil ways
Llancy treated my wife and myself so great at out new patient visit
Dr. Cabrera and the whole staff at Brown Fertility Orlando are excellent at what they do. After almost 3 years of struggling to conceive my husband and I visited Brown Fertility. There I discovered I had block fallopian tubes which was very heartbreaking for me. Dr. Brown was very honest with me about my chances of conceiving naturally and gave me every option I had in order to have a successful pregnancy. After some time of thinking things through, I went ahead and did the Laproscopic surgery in July with Dr. Cabrera which turned out to be a success! He was able to unblocked my fallopian tubes and after a great recovery from Surgery, a month later I got pregnant. I am now 9 weeks and we are expecting our baby miracle in May 2020! Thank you God for listening to my prayers and using Dr. Cabreras miracle hands and expertise to make this happen!
Was by far the worst visit ever, nurse assistant was very rude and opinionated. Made me feel uncomfortable and stupid . Needless to say I stopped the visit and demanded my money back. I will not spend my money with people who make you feel uncomfortable. Not sure if it was because I can to a all white establishment with locs or what. All my woman of color beware
The staff at Brown Fertility in Orlando is amazing. We had a roller coaster of emotions during our IVF process and they were very helpful. Suzy, Ines are amazing. They always took care of my wife during her appointments. Dr Cabrera and Camie were very professionals and always tried to guide us the best way possible. Thank you very much.
I cant begin to give enough praise to the Orlando team. Suzy and Ines kept the Mrs smiling and laughing through an already uncomfortable situation. Susana was so gentle with my wife which made her calmer. Not to mention, Cami and Dr. Cabrera who were nothing but honest with us from the beginning. I think a lot of folks expect Drs to be Gods; hence the bad reviews but I couldnt find fault with anything personally. At the end of the day, my wife is happily 3 months pregnant and we never felt like $$$ walking into the office. I only have the professionalism and expertise of this crew to thank for it all ! You all were great !!!
Very happy with this Orlando clinic. I love Dr.Cabera hes very compassionate and understanding. He took the time to talk with me and my husband. He knows how hard infertility can be and he understands that . The staff is wonderful. Always greet with a smile. My husband and I are about to start out IVF in a few months and we are super excited. Thank you Brown fertility and staff.Beatriz Najarro
Awful! I had a miscarriage while under their care. About 7 months later i tried another round of IVF, while under their care and after doing all my bloodwork again and awaiting the start of my cycle so I could begin IVF meds, I received a phone call from their office asking me how my delivery and baby were doing bc they were following up to report their success rates for the year. They had no record of my miscarriage and didn’t realize I was a current patient. When I tried to contact the doctor regarding it, I did not even receive a phone call or email back. The CFO contacted me and explained it was a “marketing error”. To make it worse, 3 days later their office called again to ask how my baby was doing (once again referring to the baby I miscarried). Still nothing from either doctor who was in charge of my care. However the CFO offered me ONE complimentary session with their therapist after I explained how devastating it was to have to explain my miscarriage to my own clinic twice in 3 days. When i tried to contact them to discuss how apprehensive I was about their lack of knowledge regarding my medical situation and cycles, I received no response. They also would not refund my fee for the second cycle even though I had not started the process and had no treatments.
After many years of unsuccessful fertility treatments, numerous consults and procedures from four different fertility groups across three different states, and two miscarriages; my spouse and I met with Dr. Brown to discuss our options moving forward. Dr. Brown was optimistic and encouraging regarding our chances of success. We proceeded with IVF and soon were blessed with our perfect fraternal twin boys. The professionalism and kindness bestowed upon us by the staff at Brown Fertility during our time of doubt and despair cannot be praised enough. We highly recommend Brown Fertility to any couple seeking to start their family.
My wife decided to go here!!!!! Save yourself while you can. She first seen Dr Gomez in January. She went in so happy and came out different. Let’s start with the first lie they tell you. The genetic testing is not 240.00 they ripped my wife’s insurance and depleted her 1000 HRA plus the remaining amount meet her deductible. How is that possible if they said the most she would pay is 240.00. Back to the day of her appointment All he stated was she need to lose weight gave her some labs and testing then sent her on her way for 322.00. Well she did the labs and testing by Feb 23 all completed After she did all the leg work and harassed them from the referral. It is now April 21 no one called to go over laps HSG testing nothing!!! We know the issue now and are seeking a new doctor for a tubal blockage thanks to her gyn looking at the HSG test…..
My wife and I did IVF with Brown Fertility. After two years of trying we ended up having twins. A beautiful little girl and boy! We are so grateful to Brown Fertility! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish!Thank you Brown Fertility and your awesome staff!
I am currently 6 weeks pregnant after have my TubalReversal only 2 1/2 months ago. Super excited. Dr Brown is great. He was upfront and honest with my chances due to age and having my tubes tied 16 years ago. But it work out great. I would recommend Dr. Brown to everyone
I have met Llancy thru some friends. That started to see in on of the doctors there, they are currently pregnant and one of thing that they always aid is that Llancy was one of the nurses that made this journey easy for them explaining the process clearly.
I went through IUI at this office, the first round the wrong medicine was ordered for the trigger shot by the office. My first appointment for the second round resulted in a 2+ hour wait to see the doctor. They only took me back after I asked how much longer and another patient got loudly worried that they didnt have time to wait that long too. And this was after watching many people walk in after me and get taken back before me. When asking the doctor about the delay, he snapped at me that IVF patients MUST be seen first and they over scheduled him. After that, I only saw the other doctor which I did NOT request. My third IUI was starting during COVID as things were slowly reopening. The office was not set up for social distancing and the doctor said masks dont actually affect the spread so they are not required. He claimed he did his own research. They were also trying to rush my appointments since they do NOT have Saturday hours. They also had someone in training do my ultrasound who took forever, did not know what they were doing, and kept resting the wand in uncomfortable positions while they messed with the image on their screen.Be careful and vocal if you try this doctor.
If you want to waste a lot of time with theyre untrained staff come here. If you want your records held captive and requests to go unanswered for weeks theyre very good at it. If you want to have cold calculated heartless doctoring you found your match. My wife and I have wasted so much time dealing with this unprofessional company that we decided to go with Fertility Center of Orlando, Dr. McNichol is very professional and warm. Time is precious and they dont mind wasting yours.
Dr. Cabrera and his team at Brown Fertility are absolutely amazing. My husband and I struggled with infertility for 3 years and had done several rounds of IUI at another fertility clinic before switching to Brown Fertility. What I admire most about the team at Brown Fertility is their genuine caring attitude. They truly care about you and support you through this emotional roller coaster. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel like a human as opposed to a number. I made the decision to do IVF with Browns and Im now the mother of a beautiful 6 week old daughter. I could not be happier with my entire experience. Thank you Brown Fertility.
Nothing less than 5 stars for Brown Fertility (the Orlando location). The staff were amazing, kind, and considerate with us through our first fertility treatment. Dr. Cabrera and Cami answered our many questions and concerns with patience and knowledge. Cant wait to go back to them for our second miracle.
It took a few years of trying but we received our rainbow baby in November of 2021. We experienced a few ups and downs but through it all with the patience and understanding of Ines she helped us go on. There were times when I felt like giving up but she was always a listening ear she would be there on the phone with me when I cried and even told me if I needed to take breaks it was ok. She was my voice of reason and she was there for me when I was hard on myself. I couldn’t have done it without Ines.
Brown fertility, has been nothing but amazing! They are super helpful along every point of your journey. Everyone from the receptionist, the nurses, finance and of course Dr. S. Brown. The team here makes you feel like you are their only customer everytime you call and ask a million questions and they all do it with a smile. I recommend Brown Fertility to anyone. Thank you for the continued support throughout my entire process!
I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have received at this office. I had my IVF consolation back in October. I was told to put a $375 deposit down to place a hold for my IVF cycle that was scheduled for December. After emailing with the cycle management team approximately 2 days after I put my deposit down, I was told that because the doctor needed more blood work done, I could no longer go through the IVF process in December and would have to wait until January. I asked about the deposit I put down and was told to reach out to the financial counselor which she told me “I am sorry that you will have to wait for next year to possibly start a cycle. But, Unfortunately, the $375 is nonrefundable, nontransferable.”I could not believe that the office would do that. The IVF process is so difficult, to have to deal with an office that shows no compassion for what we go thru, to hide behind unfair and unrealistic policies is unjust. I have reached out to each manager and been told they would get back to me, left several messages. Still 5 months later I am fighting for the $375 dollars they took from me for doing nothing. Find an office that truly cares about there patients.
We came to this facility to conceive our miracle and were not disappointed. We have had a great experience and love the staff. Dr. Brown and Dr. Cabrera are amazing and have been supportive throughout the process. We could not have asked for better care and medical guidance.
So thankful! We did IVF with Dr. Brown and the result was to miracle babies that we never thought were possible. The staff is very nice in person however had some difficulty over the phone. They give you the information and dont hold your hand through the process which I preferred as it made it a little less stressful. I will say, plan to spend a couple thousand dollars more than youre quoted as new things kept popping up that added to the expenses. It wasnt their fault, just something to be prepared for if youre going the route of IVF. Good luck to the future mommies and daddies out there!
My experience with this facility in Orlando has not been what I expected, Im highly disappointed. Ive only met Dr. Brown once, which was for the consultation. Never seen him again. Having multiple ultrasounds by a NURSE, NOT THE DOCTOR is completely unacceptable! She was talking with the medical asst, saying which button is it, and Im saying what you mean what button is it?!?! Red flag! The nurse told me I have cyst and needed to do a cycle of birth control and hopefully the next month the cyst will resolve, thankfully my husband was with me and demanded to see a doctor, and Dr. Cabrera (whom should be doing ALL ultrasounds and IUIs) walks in doesnt introduce himself, mind you, Ive never seen nor met this man before, says okay whats the problem? First, its unprofessional not to first introduce yourself sir! Tells me okay then get back on the table, and Ill take a look the nurse who did my ultrasound clearly is not able to tell the difference from a cyst vs. the lining of a uterus!!!! As a healthcare professional, this is being INCOMPETENT, if youre unsure grab the doctor, who in the FIRST place should be doing it anyway! Before having staff to perform ultrasounds at least make sure they know what theyre doing!!! To add, I didnt have any cyst, but she gave me a script to go get birth control?!?!?! WTH! At this point I was extremely upset, and no apology was given, just an okay you can start taking the Letrozole and well see you for your next appt. Fast forward, after seeing things wasnt working I requested to have a HSG. HSG done and the doctor THOUGHT he was walking out without explaining results, I asked him several questions, he was unable to answer and states I think you have a blockage, but I dont know for sure, I recommend IVF. Then walks out. This then was my breaking point to find another facility with more compassion, understanding, and a doctor who is able to take time and explain whats going on. I could have easily left to go elsewhere after the nurse incident, but Im the one to give second chances, and they failed! They definitely want your money, but when you request to speak with a doctor, its always the response of oh, hes busy. Well while youre busy, its time to start searching elsewhere to go! This has been a WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME!
The worst place to ever go to if considering having a child!!! Do not let these ppl take your money!! It’s a waste of time!! Doctor Cabrera in my opinion is the worst doctor I have ever had!! While I was in the exam room he half way walked in the room with the door open and told me my medical results and then told me he wasn’t going to treat me anymore because I have a genetic disorder!!! So he pretty much told me I shouldn’t have a baby because there’s a 50/50 chance my baby might come out with muscular dystrophy!! What kind of doctor is he like where did he get his credentials!! I would never recommend going here I’m calling the better business bureau ASAP I’m reporting them and also obtaining the lawyer!!
As a woman having difficulties getting pregnant is hurtful stressful and emotionally draining. I came to brown fertility not knowing where to turn what to do and scared. Dr. Cabrera(caring) and Dr.Brown took the time to explain to me what so many doctors never took the time to do they also took the time to care about me as a person ..They wanted this as if it was their own family member going through this process. Their staff (Ines) and others treated me with such compassion and understood my pain. They never let me be negative they uplifted me with their positive hearts. And now Im PREGNANT.. to say that is a crazy feeling but without them and God I couldnt have gotten through this. I am so thankful for this amazing team full of strong people. I will forever be thankful to you😍😍😍
They had a gentleman speak with us in place of the doctor. He told us that the United States did not allow Traditional Surrogacy. He told us that the woman carrying the child was not legally allowed to use her eggs, that we would need to get a doner. When we told him that the state of Floridas website states that it is legal. See FS63.213,This person did not know the Florida statue and is giving out incorrect information, trying to get intended parents to pay more for additional services as they do not perform traditional surrogacies, so he claimed it was not legal for any fertility clinic in the United States and that it has been this way since the 1980s. Please intended parents, seek another fertility clinic if youre declined. FRAUD ALERT.
I cant thank Dr. Cabrera, Nurse Camie and the friendly staff ( Suzy, Ines, and Susana)at the Orlando office of Brown Fertility enough. My husband and I have been struggling to get pregnant for a few years with little success. We were at another fertility center in the area. We struggled figuring out what our next step would be then we heard about Brown Fertility.A friend of mine just became pregnant through Brown Fertility and suggested I schedule an appointment and the rest was history. Dr. Cabrera made sure that my husband and I understood that it could take a few rounds of IVF before we would get pregnant. To our surprise we were successful on the very first attempt at IVF. We hope to welcome our little miracle in November of 2018. We can never thank Brown Fertility enough for their help in our journey for baby. We definitely recommend the Orlando office of Brown Fertility for any couple having trouble conceiving.
I would even give lower than one ,i have been to brown fertility on march 3 2023 for the first time, i was just sent to the doctor ntg has been checked and the doctor has said i need to get some tests to done , in that one is genetic test which for which they have collected on blood work in the hospital itself ,i asked if its covered by my insurance they said yes , and asked me to wait for results for 3 weeks , where i got a bill from my insurance saying that blood work is unnecessary and the bill was for 9000$ which is high amount for blood work ,that i have pay from pocket , i wasnt even informed it is out of pocket ,i called there office to know if they know how much the cost it is for test, they denied to say and just said they are not aware of it . she told me they send my blood work to 3rd party , they dt know much they charge, they should have a curtesy to let there patients know how much the blood work will be or if its covered by insurance , this is so bad , i would not suggest any go threw this problem ,where you have to pay ridiculous high amount.
Very friendly staff and very helpful I cant wait for my next visit gave us so much hope Im ready to start my journey
Good luck getting them on the phone.I have been interviewing fertility centers in Florida given my upcoming relocation to the sunshine state. On multiple occasions I have been put on hold for 20+ minutes. They also seem to check their email intermittently. This gives me serious pause in terms of giving this practice consideration.
There are no words that can describe how much I thank Brown Fertility and all of their staff for helping my husband and I get pregnant. It was a very long road, but never once did I feel alone, Brown Fertility is amazing at what they do. I could not of chosen a better place to share my experience with. I highly highly recommend Brown Fertility, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for my family and I !!
Dr. Brown met with me for 2 hours. After having a not so good/positive experience at a prior fertility clinic, he immediately reduced my anxiety with fact and evidence base practice and research. I am looking forward to working with Dr. Brown and his staff and hopefully holding my babies in my hands in 2020.
I would recommend them 100%. Everyone is amazing in everything they do. From Susie in the front, to Ines, Cami, Dr. Cabrera, everyone has always been just a wealth of health and care in a time of need. They take the time to actually get to know you as a person and not just a name written down on paper. I live an hour away and have no problem driving this hour to the office because of how great they are.
My experience there was terrible. To charge more than $25,000 for the treatment they are super fast and efficient, but to perform the services they are terrible, the doctor doesnt even talk to you to explain why the treatment didnt work and then they dont serve you anymore to refund the values of services that were paid for but not performed by them.
Only came to this clinic once for a HSG test. I was inform they were going to send me antibiotics which they never did i called this office in 1 week about 4 times for the meda they keep saying they were going to send it, never did. I have to get a procedure with them. Everytime i called they never answer. I been for more than 1 hour waiting for someone to answer and no answer. How im suppos to trust them if 1. They never send the meds i needed after multiple calls. And 2. They never answer the phone.
Thank you, Llancy for helping us and being so positive throughout our journey.
Shelly is amazing! So kind and thoughtful and truly cares about everyone she comes into contact with! I would recommend everyone to her!
Dont waist your time or money here! This place only cares about the money not the patient or their journey. Ive been here three times. First for a consultation which was an expensive chit chat (but fine, I get it). Then I came for a procedure that I was told would be filed as an OBGYN visit. (That was a lie, after the procedure I had to pay out of pocket $500 and still I gave them the benefit of the doubt, its a specialist so I said ok its worth the money to find out) they found nothing was wrong (both a relief and frustration since I had three miscarriages). Then I get pregnant naturally 🙌🏼 and come in to be seen - I wanted to see if I needed progesterone, or lovenox or at least get guidance from here on out before going to my OBGYN.They tell me to come in for blood work to see if I needed further assistance to sustain the pregnancy. I get in and ALL they give me is one injection to see if I am pregnant (Ive had several positive test and no pms, I didnt need them to confirm that). I needed guidance and actual help - whether thatd be injections to make sure my blood is thin enough for the baby, or progesterone. But nothing!!!! No consultation, no guidance, nothing.Everytime Ive been here, Its obvious they do not care about the patient here!!! This place has low stars for a reason, please do your research and save yourself the heart ache on top of everything else youve been through 😔🙏🏼
The biggest burden is their financial department, in the course of 5 months they changed 3 financial advisors, which it was a nightmare to even get in touch with them to begging with. The 1st financial consultation was with someone named Kelly in 09/17/2018 based on the cost-sheet in our conversation, my insurance(having 11k lifetime for fertility, now depleted thanks to this people) etc our balance( which was collected was only 375.00) I went through my 1st fresh cycle, which it came out negative.2nd financial consultation for a FET was then with someone named Daniel at this point Ive been charged a deductible for 300+another 375( for initiation fee+40 for the visit...wish at the beginning i was told that ALL office visit were included .. now all the sudden I had to pay 40 buck for every single time that i visited the office during the cycle...no extra visits or anything. FET was positive for 1st test than 2nd was negative, and their only response was they are just no good embryos.Long story short I now have a bill for over 8k, that no one is able to explain ,other than your insurance send us only this or that payment the cost sheets do not mean anything, plus now reviewing my receipts, from payments i was requested to make like for office visits, the amount i was asked under the 1st &2nd treatment/cost sheet is not even reflecting on these statements. When I called the 1st time questioning the bill, a young girl that was new Vilmarie had no idea what was going on, asked me to email in my cost sheets for someone to review it ( which they should have to begin with), i never heard back, I called back and asked for a Supervisor they sent me to someone named Allie she was the most nasty, condescending and belligerent person that you can ever talked to in costumer service she had no idea what she was talking about, by the information that she was providing me you could tell that she hadnt even review my record, she was telling me that I had no insurance...which it was false...she said that until I paid the balance for the fresh cycle i wouldnt be seen again....false as well as i had already completed the SECOND treatment with them and she didnt even know. I asked to speak with someone above her and sent an email complain to the office that treated me here in Orlando....is 6 months after and Im still waiting for anyone to respond.Ive called multiple times, currently waiting for another new person named Patty as they are now trying to send the balance to collections and asking to pay over 8k in 3 months.update 08/25/2019.As of 08/09 I called again and asked for the Ops. Manager (Shelley C.), took couple of tries but she was kind enough to take my call and just LISTEN to me, she started to get the ball rolling for me to be helped and have my account reviewed. I didnt get to talk to her again, but I am thankful. I was referred to Ms Nicole H. and by the time she reached me (08/22), she had most of the answers and did all the research that it was needed, she was knowledgeable, kind and explained to me the reason for the discrepancies and why everyone was not in the same page at the time, THANKFULLY they are not working with those companies anymore and are back on their own. She identified where the issue was and was able to solve it within just couple of days. Im currently waiting on our revise bill, which I understand now the amount Im responsible for and why. Also is fair to mention that the delay in communication from my Insurance ( Cigna, Now allegiance) played also a big part in this whole ordeal.
HORRIBLE CLINIC. I would not recommend anyone to go there. They lie to you and also after charging all the fees tell you that now you have to drive to Jacksonville for procedures. Also, the attract customers with special promotions and then charge them for office visits and then deny any promotions. Please do not WASTE YOUR MONEY on them. Find a better alternative. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !
I highly recommend Brown Fertility for any fertility concerns. I was a patient for exactly a year and they were very supportive of me and Dr. Cabrera and Cami answered all my questions. I never felt rushed during my appointments and they always followed up with me when needed.
Never have we ever felt talked down to when coming into our appointments. We are always given straight forward and accurate information on the spot that is professional, caring, and easy to remember. Looming forward to continuing our fertility journey and looking for success at the end.
Dr Cabrera and Elizabeth (Camie) and all the staff were very comprehensive and friendly with us; Infertility is a very hard time so you need to be treated kindly to help you go trough it!they are very proffesional and now we have our little miracle with us
I only had a semen analysis done here. I was in Orlando for vacation. I had gotten a not so good result back from our fertility clinic at home and wanted a 2nd opinion. So I looked these people up to see if they could even do the test in the time frame I needed. I talked to them, and was told twice that I would have my full results in 24 hours. Took the test Tuesday morning at 730 AM. I called Wednesdayat 10 AM to find out if the results came back. Talked to a lady who said they werent, so she would call me back. 4 and a half hours later, still no call back. I called again to be put on hold, and told that I only had partial results back. The important part, that stressed to the person thay scheduled me, wont be back till the following Tuesday. I needed results by Friday or I would not have done the test. I know nothing about these tests, and feel mislead. I was even told when I called that they get results in 24 hours, but when I called again it changed to a week is normal. I am a reasonable person. I would not expect something if I was not told to expect it. A total and complete waste of 195 dollars. Only reason Im giving 2 stars is the people in the office were very nice.
They have been very kind and welcoming since the beginning to both my husband and I. Dr.Gomez is very professional and keeps a positive attitude and even makes you laugh at times. I’ve been going since July and haven’t regretted it since then.
I set a new patient appointment in which I cancelled weeks before the actual appointment and was never refunded the initial $59 they claim they place a “hold” on for you appointment. When I realized it was not refunded I was told that it could only be refunded via check and it was sent out. After several days passed I called again only to be told I can only reschedule my money will not be returned. This is FRAUDD‼️‼️‼️‼️ Find another Dr I can only imagine how shady the medical staff is if they’re defrauding women for $50
I have only positive things to say about Dr Cabera and his staff! Everyone I’ve encountered at this office from front desk to nurses to Dr Cabera have been very friendly, kind and professional. I am pregnant now so moving on to my OB I will miss seeing the staff for my appointments. :)
I had a horrible experience, I ended up being very depressed for a very long time, recently Im able to know look back and i just should of just went to a different clinic to get my answers. My gyno Dr ortiz that fyi didnt treat my cyst or my irregular periods. Recommended me to Brown fertility to do a dye to see my tubes. I didnt get Dr Brown, I got Dr Cabrera he basically pushed 60cc i think of dye, looked at the screen, then took off his gloves, while heading to the door to leave to his office stated well ms. Lebron tubes are blocked you CAN NOT get pregnant on your own, youll need to set up appointment to start on IVF treatments, which starting testing and such is $1600. Ok ms. Lebron take care . Yep thats all i got, no reasons why they are blocked, what they are blocked with, no possible treatments, surgery, nothing, no Im sorry to tell you that you can never get pregnant, NOTHING. I literally crying my eyes off in front of everyone, one nurse brought me a pad stating Ill might bleed, continuing to cry shaking, no one saying anything, no one with consoling words to me in that clinic. Ended up not able to drive, called my fiance that was dealing with his mothers death 1 week prior was dealing with lawyers he couldnt pick me up, my best friend picked me up. Depressed, hatred towards all capable women able to be pregnant with no help, locked myself inside my head thinking i went to school got my BAS, didnt get into trouble, paid my bills, worked hard, wait till im 27, 28 to decide to have children to a 15 minute visit telling me i cant with no explanation sit down...nothing.I would just recommend you to do better research or seek second opinion, youll basically feel like cattle being checked then disposed of. Not even my gyno Dr Ortiz from womens care florida didnt even call me to discuss my results that i know she received. Basically these clinics worked together for their pay and passing each other patients back an forth.Unfortunately for me no happy ending, Im now 34 achieved my depression, but after that visit i never went back to another gyno or fertility place again. Now I was forced by good friends to go to a gyno to help with my hormone imbalance. But Im living with the fact that I will not ever bear a child ever. Adopting is no good if your not rich or wanting to be in debt with a loan to get a child then pay for the child and the loan, not reasonable to me... just my opinion.Take care and good luck.Fyi the location in Jacksonville has the highest rating in success not the Orlando location. And the highest best is actually in Miami...IVFMD – South Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine.
Thank you for making me very happy with my new appointment. You do not know how important it is to me. I am very grateful for your follow-up and making me feel much better! Thank you Marissa!
At my first consultation, it felt like a sales pitch and I was instructed to come back for an HSG which I did. Part of me never wanted to come back because the NP there really isnt a welcoming person when talking about such a sensitive subject as your fertility. No smiles, no encouraging words...nothing! So I come back for the HSG and laying on my back on the cold table, they tell me some of the worst news ever and walk out the room. No one came back to check on me and no one even checked me out. I was given absolutely no instructions on what to do after the test although I was devastated and wanted to run out crying. I got dressed and walked to the front desk and waited but was never acknowledged so I walked out and I have never heard from anyone in the office again. Seems to me they are just in the money making business and the only way they can help is if you have stacks of cash that they can suck up doing and IVF procedure. TRULY DISAPPOINTED! DO NOT GO HERE!
Had A GREAT EXPERIENCE HERE AND THANKS TO Dr. BROWN I had my daughter and in my age. He is amazing and definitely knows what he is doing. Thank You.
The staff were amazing, kind, and considerate with us through our first fertility treatment. Dr. Cabrera answered our many questions and concerns with patience and knowledge. Can’t wait to start my second treatment .
The staff is super friendly and nice especially Llancy always helping the creole speakers. In this office you can find really nice people willing to help.
My wife is a patient here and every time we come we ask for Llancy because she is so amazing and makes us feel so cared about would recommend to anyone
Very grateful especially for the professionalism and attention of the secretary Carmen Mitjans
Do not waste your time going here!! I have had two friends go here and both had the same experience. They did all their lab testing and were told they’re great candidates and would have a high success rates doing iui/ivf. After multiple failed attempts they were either informed their chances were fairly slim even though no changes occurred to their labs or found out they purposely withheld information that would have shown that the procedures they were suggested to do wouldn’t have worked at all. This place doesn’t care about making miracles happen for families desperately trying. They use that desperation to give them false hope so they can suck every penny out of them. This facility should be closed down due to the amount of fraud they take part in. Save your time and money and go to a place that will be 100% honest with you and actually help you conceive.
I went here for a new paitent consultation and waited for over an hour before having to leave without being seen. I was told that there were 6 paitents in front of me at that point. I would have waited over 2.5 hours for a consultation. This should have been communicated to me at check in.
Very bad experience with the. Had an appt and waited over an hour to be informed that my wait would be closer to 3 hours. There are too many professional Fertility Doctors in Orlando. We wont recommend Brown Fertility to anyone. Horrible!!!
Warning dont go there they misdiagnosed me and push other treatment in the middle of starting a suggested treatment in which we are not even a candidate for such treatment due to the quality and cuantity to do an iui, we feel they steal our money , After going to another specialist and confirm the misdiagnosed treatment be careful where you go. I know we all have hope to have the family we want but please leave the emotions on the side and really check your providers.
This is the worst facility I’ve ever used because they don’t you financing upfront and constantly make you reschedule. This fertility clinic is all over the place they didn’t even know which spouse to draw blood from. I highly recommend finding someone else.
Loved working with Dr Cabrera and Gina. They made me feel comfortable and were patient with answering all of my questions
Every time I have been to the Jacksonville facility, they have been courteous, pleasant, and friendly. They have truly made us comfortable during the emotional time in our lives.
This fertility center RUINED and WASTED an entire year of my life! Im a young, healthy, fertile woman who came to brown fertility for family balancing Ivf. We had a nice amount of eggs collected and embryos make it to day 5. I had 6 healthy PGS tested embryos come back and transferred 2. BOTH failed due to either poor care in their lab, damage caused by either the cell removal or the assisted hatching. I never in my life had a miscarriage UNTIL I went to Brown Fertility. If they cant get a women with zero reproductive issues pregnant, then theres very little hope to be able to get a women with real reproductive issues pregnant.
The staff at Brown Fertility are very kind and understanding. Dr Cabrera is extremely knowledgeable and Lauren is great at answering questions and providing information regarding the steps in the process.
I would give them none stars... They never told me how much it was going to be until I was there, the NP that I saw actually said I started here 3 weeks ago, I dont know how they operate here REALLY?? I paid $250 so that a NP could see me with a bad attitude and not knowing how they do things at the office. We are trying to have a baby and I do not need someone to be rude to me.I just wanted to cry!
They are seriously the BEST!!!! There isnt a better place to get you on track to having the baby of your dreams!
Time and money wasted at Brown Fertility. My time wasn’t respected, nor was I respected as a patient. I was shuffled around between doctors, and a massive fibroid wasn’t discovered until I was in the process of having an IUI completed (meaning the last step of fertility treatment). This translates to a lot of wasted time and money.
Wish I could zero stars. Be prepared for over peeved appointments thats arent needed multiple contradicting answers for the same question. Nobody here knows anything and always gives incorrect information. Took something that was supposed to be fun and exciting and made the whole process a nightmare.. place should not be in business.
I would give this place zero stars if possible. You are typically on hold for 30 mins to 3 hrs (not kidding, I wish I was). Scheduling appointments is impossible. My husband called everyday for 2 weeks and they never answered the phone or returned his messages... absolutely ridiculous! DO NOT GO HERE!
This is the best IVF clinic also thank you to Llancy she has been the best nurse.
Dont waist your money and time they dont have enough donors plus the web site is not updated and coordinator Laura never answered the phone call also to put treatment together is a nightmare so i left to another Dr. and i got my baby girl with no problem
This practice makes the effort to put your family first. From top to bottom each staff member understands how important your visit to the clinic is to you and the future of your family.
Horrible office literally in tears as I write this review. SUSIE in the office sat at the window veey rudely and never gave eye contact while looking at a computer screen while rudely stating you are late these reviews are true dont go here if you want to be treated like a human. 0 stars 0 stars besides they have the worst reviews for fertility online.
I have tried many times calling and then made an appointment only to have rescheduled multiple times over my paperwork. Would never ever send anyone here no matter how good the doctor is.
I do not like this place. I would recommend you find a more compassionate office. One where you dont wait hours and wont hear things like it must just be bad luck.
Scam alert this was a nightmare from hell they are theives..take your money elsewhere run cause they are not honest people and they call themselves a Christian clinic i think not..
Horrible experience. Would never recommend them to anyone. No communication and terrible on follow up.
Dr. Cabrera is very thorough and the staff is very helpful and pleasant.
The operations manager Shelly was so kind and helpful!
Very unprofessional and terrible bedside manners. I’m in health care and I wouldn’t treat or act the way he did with any of my patients
Avoid this place, terrible customer service and they still want to collect their money.
LLANCY THE BEST AND THE BEST , AMAZING PERSON AND SERVICE 10 OF 10
Just called these people can be so rude at times..if you do nit like your job quit.
I got my healthy baby girl…I’m thankful
Great experience with brown fertility
The staffs are very friendly , nice
The front desk lady is very rude and disrespectful
Thank you llancy
Clean, friendly, personal, honest
We are giving another chance.
I thank God my beautiful Jesus Christ first for giving me the opportunity to be a mother through the great experience and professionalism of Dr Gomez at Brown Fertility, thank you Dr for your commitment to making happy and fulfilling the dream of one more woman in her beautiful career. . Thank you to all the sweet and kind girls who were in my process both in Orlando and Winter Garden. And I also want to thank Dr Duffy who was the one who performed the transfer for me and was also so kind, careful and precise at that blessed moment. You all have a beautiful space in my heart. I love you x2.
Dr. Gómez, in addition to his human quality and dedication to his patient, is always in the best position to help you clarify your doubts, he explains everything step by step and just like his nurse, team quality, grateful to him. I have 11-year-old twin girls. . And we are in the process of another one. Hilary is the best nurse, she educates me on everything.
I am 100 percent grateful for the kind and empathetic way that Jimeyle treated me. She handled my case with great knowledge, was always attentive to me and never let me go!I loved the process that the clinic handles the appointments, and they explain very well how to apply the medications! I recommend the Orlando Florida clinic, the doctors, nurses and all the staff who work there are very friendly, have a lot of knowledge and work professionally!
I have been visiting the clinic since last year, and from the attention at the reception to the communication currently with my assigned coordinator Jimeylie Fraticelli in person, by phone and by mail so far they have made me feel super comfortable!!! The road to fertility is not easy, so I am grateful that with your attention you are making this journey more bearable!
I will tell my story, my first cycle, both Dr. Gómez and my coordinator Jessica Gonzales were very kind and explained everything to me very well, unfortunately a failed cycle and I decided to go for the second cycle, in this cycle everything was different, I was already more prepared and knew a little more about the processes and Dr. Gómez had told me before starting the second one that he would change my medications but what I didnt know was that the coordinator had also changed. Llancy and it was the new one. She welcomed me back by email and as soon as I made my second payment in which they only gave me $100 dollars off because it was already my second cycle until then everything was fine. The problems began when this inefficient woman stopped answering emails or calls. I asked for a change of coordinator and they denied it. First mistake of hers: I had to start contraceptive pills on a Sunday and it was Saturday and she had not sent the prescription to the pharmacy. In fact, he had forgotten that he had not even sent me a calendar. Luckily I had pills at home, second mistake of hers she sent a prescription for medications which by the way are very expensive and she sent medications that I did not have at this stage I asked her if she was sure about that, because I was sure that the doctor was going to change me the medication to which his response was the doctor added just one injection. So I believed her because they are supposed to be professionals. My mistake, I spent too much money because of her. After this I get all the supposed medications and I check the calendar and guess what? There was a lack of medication, I called the pharmacy and they told me that they had only sent that. Another mistake sends wrong prescriptions and to make matters worse, incomplete medications and again late with the medications because of this llancy woman and certainly never her. I met, so I sent him an email which he never responded or cared about. So I had no choice but to contact Jessica, my first coordinator, immediately she replied, apologized and sent the missing prescription. After this we realize that I bought medications that were not on my calendar thanks to the fact that this inept woman Llancy sent more than $1000 dollars to the pharmacy by the way and now with all the medications in my refrigerator, finally in this cycle the man assisted me Cabrera I loved it, the doctor did not want to do an extraction without being sure that I would have many eggs and he certainly did it I had 12 eggs after this I called the clinic to ask for a refund for these medicines that this woman sent to the pharmacy and that she clearly did not need and they told me that although the mistake was that llancy womans, they could not return anything because the pharmacy is separate from the clinic. The truth is that it makes me very angry, what am I going to do with treatments that I dont need? And because of this woman I bought it, I called the pharmacy to see what I could do and they told me that the clinic had to answer for this because it was the coordinators mistake and I only received an apology and nothing more, it is incredible to lose such an amount of money great and only receive an apology for what happened. Be careful with this, I also had my second cycle that failed. I dont know why I feel like the embryos were never put in the right place. Its something I can never be sure of, but thats how I feel. So if another failed cycle and the reality is that I am not writing this review because of the failed ones but because I feel that it was not the correct way to solve my problem of wrong medication. Unfortunately, the cycles could have failed for any reason, but the medication? This llancy made me spend too much money for being so stupid eh ineptitude
Excellent treatment from all the staff in general, everyone has impeccable attention, making you feel like family and always with professionalism... Thank God, María Auxiliadora and the medical team at Brown Fertility we can say that we achieved our beautiful miracle and in the first I try 🙏 for IVF. To date she is already a month old 💕😍

If I could give 0 stars I would give it.As for the attention and kindness, everything is fine. I cant speak about the procedures they do because I didnt undergo any, I only had the genetic test on the first day of my appointment. But I had a very bad experience, because that day the doctor told me that in order to take advantage of that day, I should take the genetic test, so my husband and I asked the ASSISTANT if my insurance would cover that test, to which they replied that YES, and if in that case, it was not covered, I would only have to pay $249 to $300, but they gave me complete assurance that my insurance would cover that exam, because several people with my insurance already paid everything. For this reason, my husband and I accepted, they gave me the genetic test. But to my surprise, 3 months later, my insurance sends me an email saying that they declined that service, that they will not pay that claim, the provider billed the amount of $8995, and my insurance will not take care of that, that I would be responsible for that payment.I am upset by the lack of information from the clinic or from the people in charge of giving this type of information, who do not know or, failing that, provide erroneous information. They must be sure to give clear and precise information, because those of us who pay the consequences are the patients. I am pregnant and this has caused me a lot of stress, because dealing with my insurance and going to the clinic to talk about this, since I called on the phone and they didnt give me an answer either, so I had to go there and they practically tell me They dont know why my insurance is charging that, let it remain the same... In that regard I give it a very bad rating, I hope everything is resolved. Explain everything truthfully before the patient undergoes any procedure.
I am very grateful for the attention of Jessica and Jimeylie, they are very good at their job, they explain each step of my procedure to me and they always give me great faith that everything will turn out well, thank you so much
My husband and I are very grateful to God for allowing us to get to the right place Brown fertility, where his entire team together with Dr. Rafael Cabrera guided us on our fertility journey, it is a professional and very friendly team! I hope that all women and couples who are sad or disoriented on this topic can get here. Our miracle is our beautiful daughter Allison Santa María Rodriguez was born on May 28 of this year 2023. Thank you so much Brown fertility, I give you a 100/100 😍❤️🙏🏽
I had the opportunity to meet Llancy through some friends. She recommended that I go to the clinic because I explained to her that I have a friend who was trying to get pregnant, I put them both in contact and today, thank God, my friend is pregnant. She is a person who is very proud of what she does, you can tell that she definitely likes to help many women going through this problem.Llancy the best.
I didnt like this service at all... everything was fine when I went the first time and made the payment. But then they gave us the calendar and we started the process. We used the medicine, which is very expensive, and they canceled the calendar they gave us. We had to spend more on medicine... we started with the new calendar and we had no information about anything, they never told us that if the embryo was of good quality, nothing, we never had a conversation about anything, we were only reluctantly treated well by some very good nurses, but the doctor never gave us He said nothing, we only dealt with nurses after the transfer they put us in a room for my wife to get dressed and that was dirty there were open urine samples in the sink in the room it was not clean they need to clean it every time a new patient comes in… . But at the end of the day they never gave us information if the embryo was of good quality and nothing, they just put it in and then my wife came out negative, she is not pregnant…. I only put this comment because I want them to change and inform their patients if the embryo is recommended for transfer and especially the cleaning of the rooms... I hope that other people have luck with their treatment
Excellent center. Excellent attention to patient service, especially Lisbeths assistance. I recommend them!
I met Llancy through a friend who met at the clinic who told me about her. My wife contacted her and we are in the process of making our new patient appointment with Dr. Cabrera.

The best place to go when you want to have a baby. I tried for years to be a mother and I couldnt and in a short time they helped me make my dream come true. Today I have a 1-year-old baby and I am going for my second treatment soon, Dr. Rafael Cabrera. and all his excellent team, just like Dr. Brown and all his team in Jacksonville, super grateful and truly the best price recommended 100%
