We arrived an hour before closing, which I expected to be the last one called and we were. We knew what the issue was but needed a prescribed medication. The PA prescribed a topical ointment for my son. Today I hadn’t heard from the pharmacist so I called on my way home from work. The PA didn’t “send clear instructions” on how to apply the topical ointment so the pharmacy was waiting for a call back but didn’t it receive a return call so the pharmacy called again. The PA is off until Monday so they’re unable to fill the prescription, until Monday. I called and the PA who is there can’t help without a revisit to give instruction on how to apply a topical ointment. Are you kidding me? I will be getting the prescription Monday and asking for a refund of what I paid for a 5 minute visit that resulted in hoping my son’s infection doesn’t spread further over the weekend and wasting our time. There’s plenty of urgent cares to go to and I will not be returning to this one. There’s a 6’ sign in the lobby explaining that aggressive behavior and yelling will not be tolerated. I thought it was strange when we got there but now I understand that it must be an issue when you pay to deal with incompetence. There was also two other patients coughing repetitively in the middle of the lobby over and over without even covering their mouths. We stood by the door for almost 30 minutes, away from them. Not one time were they asked to cover their mouths, wear a mask, etc even though there are signs posted asking them to with those types of symptoms.
I checked in online, came in, was seen immediately. Lady at the front desk and the medical assistant were friendly. I saw the provider named Kevin. He listened to me thoroughly, was knowledgeable, and friendly. The overall visit was quick but not rushed. Thank you!
I wanna just say how awesome my visit went. I had a substantial wound and needed stitches. I can’t say enough about how quickly and efficiently they got me in and stitched up. Justina the MA did great and was very helpful in making sure everything went well. My PA Kevin is a pro at stitching up hands. I was able to get back to my day within an hour. So happy I went here. Thanks everyone. I would add a photo of the great work but I don’t want to gross anyone out. 😂
Today was very disappointing. I created what I thought was an appointment online for terrible back pain. Come to find out walk ins and appointments are the same thing. Waited over an hour for a 30 second appointment. The PA pokes on my back says “oh you need an X-ray. Hold on. Left the room came back with a Simon med map for me to make an appointment. Which I know they don’t make appointments for X-rays and not on weekends. And I already paid him $80 for this appointment and it will be over $100 for an X-ray NEXT WEEK. He gave me a script for a muscle relaxer and sent me in my way. Waste of time and money.
I highly recommend this urgent care. I booked my appointment online, got there and the check in was seamless. The front desk receptionist was so quick and kind. The medical assistant was super sweet and attentive. The PA was so good with my 5 year old. His bedside manner was AMAZING, he made her laugh even though she wasn’t feeling well. Got us in and out quickly. Thank you!
They’re fast. Which is important. But their front desk staff was cold and seemed irritated right at opening. The provider I saw seemed rushed and annoyed that I was seeking treatment. I don’t think I was smiled at a single time by any staff member except the young lady that took my vitals. The provider even gave me a referral to a place I would later find out isnt even in business anymore. You’re just a number to them and their goal is to get you out of there as fast as possible. Some people may value that, but I would have preferred to have a quality visit.
Services at this location are conveniently located and adequate - not the best Ive ever experienced, nor the worst, depending on the situation. The reason for my low score is the fact that this locations NextCare did not submit my claim to insurance. Nine months later - yes nine months - I received a bill for all services rendered. After confirming with my insurance company that a claim was never submitted, I attempted to contact NextCare billing six times with my insurers information and member ID. The first time I was on hold for 40 minutes. In every instance, regardless of how long I was on hold, the phone would ring multiple times - as if I might reach an actual person - and then there was nothing but dead air. I havent been able to straighten out billing to date. For this reason alone, I will avoid NextCare in the future.
Dr/Nurse Earl Nordby is HORRIBLE. i told him i have been sick for 3 weeks and am 12 weeks pregnant. i went to another urgent care about a week ago, they prescribed me some medication that i didn’t feel comfortable taking because i’ve had 4 miscarriages in the last couple years. i felt better other than a sore throat that recently came on and wanted to make sure it wasn’t something new. i expressed this to him and his response was “so why are you here, what do you want me to do if you don’t want to take medication.” extremely rude and unprofessional.
Majority of staff was kind. PA could use work in bedside manner and patient care. Seemed bothered and too busy. Barely talked to me or checked me. Didn’t even care to look up the med I was on. Sent my scripts to the wrong pharmacy and instead of owning it and fixing it sent me off with a paper script I couldn’t fill with insurance because it had been filled at the wrong pharmacy. When I called back asking to know where they actually sent it i was told it wasn’t sent anywhere else. Only for the right pharmacy helping me call insurance to find out it was at a Walgreens instead of a CVS. Awful lot of money to have to deal with this when you don’t feel well. :-/
Appointment was quick. Only waited 10 minutes. They got me back, diagnosed, meds were ordered to my pharmacy and I was on my way home to rest.
The PA on staff was the worst I’ve experienced. When he came in he stood to the back side of me so I physically had to turn my body just to look at him. He listened to my chest and said “lungs sound good” I said, “thats good is there any concern for my cough and why when I cough my throat feels like it’s closing and I can’t breathe?” He said “I can give you a cough medicine so you don’t cough at night” I said “I would prefer not considering I’m not coughing consistently enough for it to keep me awake. I’m most concerned about the closed airway.” He replied, “maybe you should see a pulmonary dr, but I can give you a cough medicine.” I again declined as I don’t see how that will fix the issue. He didn’t listen to my cough or anything. If I hadn’t turned my body to look him in his eyes while speaking he would not have even seen my face. Terrible experience. I’m wasn’t looking for medicine to suppress the issue, I wanted some kind of answer. He did not provide me with anything other than a “lungs sound good”. Unacceptable!
Np was very personable, staff was nice and efficient. Was a little wait time, but to be expected since I didnt set up an appointment before hand. In and out with my diagnosis within 20 minutes of being called back
Made an appointment for 10:50 for our daughter. Came 35 minutes early. Checked in. App showed 3 other appointments ahead of us. They then proceed to allow 5 walk ins ahead of us. Didn’t get seen until 11:40. Absolutely ridiculous. Front desk lady used some excuse that walk ins and appointments are two different systems. Why in the heck would you even have a booking system if walkins are priority. Would have been seen faster at the er. Do yourself a favor and choose a different urgent care.
Kevin Kon was terrific!! Kevin is polite, respectful, professional, SMART, thorough & so very NICE!! Raymond, his medical assistant, was also very pleasant & helpful. The young woman at the front desk was also very nice & smart!!
I went in 2 times in 2 weeks because of a sinus infection. The first time I was prescribed Augmentin for 5 days, it wasn’t long enough to kick the infection, went back and after explaining to the NP that I was 8 weeks pregnant, he still prescribed me Doxycycline which is a class D drug, shouldn’t be taken during pregnancy. I asked for a zpak instead and he said no. I had to call my OB to get the zpak so it was essentially pointless and a waste of time going to urgent care. Very disappointed.
Very friendly staff. Made my baby feel comfortable when she was nervous and not feeling well. Thank you for great patient care!
Honestly, not much to share. I made an appointment online, was first to check in, and got in pretty quick and hassle free. Kevin, the PA was efficient, actually did an assessment (which shouldn’t be surprising but I feel like more and more providers at urgent clinics fall short in this area), and got back to me with results without a long wait or any fuss. The one complaint I do have is that the ladies at the front desk said they were “unable to verify my insurance” and charged me a $35 fee despite the fact that I presented my insurance card and don’t have a copay. So now I’ll have to wait for a refund check by mail, which I’m sure will take 10 weeks or so. Slight inconvenience for me but might have been a bigger deal for someone else. Overall, just glad I was able to get in and out in under an hour.
We had a terrific experience at NextCare Urgent care today. We decided to walk in since the next appointment was about 1.5 hours out. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. She informed us that five people were ahead of us and the wait might be up to 45-60 minutes. We probably only waited about 35 minutes. We needed a strep test. The tech was friendly, had a strep test handy and swabbed us right away. By the time the doctor came in, he took a quick look in my daughter’s throat (infected), confirmed the strep test results that were already back (positive), and printed us a school excusal note instantly and let us know the prescription was already called in. By the time I got in the car, I had the pharmacy confirmation that it was ready, and I picked it up on the way home. Wow. I was so impressed by the efficiency! I would definitely recommend this location and might even go here as a first choice for sick visits rather than my child’s doctor (who we also love). Awesome service!
I believe that your PA, Robert, has poor listening skills to a patient that has interstitial lung disease. I needed an antibiotic and he would not prescribe one. A patient like me knows about my OWN health and what I need to avoid any more damage. Thank God I have an appt with my pulmonologist next week! And they put the wrong reason for visit on my discharge! I never said I had a cough! Total lack of concern for a patient.
Excellent service. Results fro two test were done at office within 10 minutes. Medicine were ordered . Recommend service at this office.
The Urgent Care was fast we booked our appointment online. Showed up a little early and were seen and treated within 30 minutes for the whole process!
The staff and Next care is absolutely amazing and friendly !My son and I had a good experience today !The lady at the desk were very friendly and helpful and the nurses were super helpful and kind and were very supportive and respectful even though my son was crying when we were talking she was very patient . The doctor was was very informative on what was wrong with my son and was very patient with my son when we was crying and struggling to check out his ears ! Was in and out in about an hour and half Id say was great because it didn’t feel like we were being rushed out, it felt like they genuinely care….they gave my son some pain medicine just so he can be comfortable until we picked up his prescription, the best part was the doctor came in and asked if our pharmacy was still open so if wasnt he can send it over a pharmacy that was open so we won’t have to wait till the morning to get his antibiotics! considering it was so late!Loved that he was super considerate!Definitely will be my go to urgent care in time of needs !!!!
Disappointed to find out that the xray machine has been broken four Four years. The reason given was that there are no xray technicians. Thats not a legitimate reason for a machine being broken. Buy a new machine and then hire a technicians. So then I was given locations else where to get a chest xray to see how my lungs are. Ill need to find an urgent care facility that has equipment that actually works.
The nurse was delightful!PA was very thorough. Identified my problem and called in meds to my pharmacy.Didn’t give 5 stars because of the timelines of the visit. Made a 10:00am appointment and receptionist said we had a 2 hour wait when we arrived at 9:45. Actually the wait was probably an hour. What’s the point of an appointment?
Went as a walk in and was only waiting 10 mins to see a doctor , the lady’s and doctors were so nice and very considerate that my son was crying and we can barely hear each other! They were very respectful and the doctor was very informative and kind ! Was in and out in an hour without feeling like they were rushing ! Came out with antibiotics for my son’s ear infection and medication for the flu ! Was pretty late already it was nice to know they cared enough to ask if my pharmacy was still open if not so they can send the prescriptions to one that is open 24hrs!!Definitely will be my go to urgent care in time of needs…
A receptionist can make or break an experience, and I can tell you that the gal at the front desk MADE our experience wonderful. She was helpful, patient and caring. While in the middle of a season where everyone is sick, the visit was quick and pleasant. Very grateful .
Called. Had to let it ring awhile! Made an appointment. Waited 10 minutes to see the PA. The PA and nurse were both very kind and efficient. It was a very good experience.
This place is ridiculous. I made an appointment, showed up early to check in, as directed by the website, and still had to wait for those without an appointments to be seen first. When I asked why walkins were being seen I was told, and I quote, “well, they were waiting longer than you.” Oh really?? Because I actually wanted to come in yesterday but I couldn’t get in, so I made an appointment and waited until the next day to come in. So, no “Miss I’m a receptionist who hates my job and I have zero compassion for people,” the walkins have not been waiting as long. Not one single location EVER sees appointments before walkins. So why have them available? This place knows they have bad practices so much so, they have to place signs saying no aggressive behavior will be tolerated. The staff can be rude at to you, but don’t you dare question them. If you do, they will probably just make you wait longer. I will avoid at all costs. Oh and the doctor wasn’t even a good one. He was a PA actually and needed to have a “cheat sheet” to properly fill out my HS daughter’s physical paperwork. It took almost 1.5 hours for an appointment that lasted three minutes. THREE MINUTES. These are the worst urgent cares in the world.
I absolutely love this urgent care! The staff is always so welcoming and understanding no matter the issue you’re brining. Jakesha and Justina are amazing MAs and always making patients feel so at ease and the PA Kevin is great and his expertise is very appreciated and you just know he is a caring provider. Great facility.
Great experience!! I was seen and treated so quickly. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Fastest urgent care Ive ever had. When youre sick thats important to me. That said, they were also thorough. Highly recommend!
Kind and friendly office staff. Dr.was also very kind, listened to me and explained things. Had an appointment and was seen within 10 minutes of appointment time. Would highly recommend.
I recently visited the urgent care, and my experience with Jakesha and the front staff was exceptional. Jakeshas professionalism and empathy stood out. The front staff demonstrated remarkable efficiency streamlining the check-in process. Moreover, Kelvin, the P.A., demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism during my visit. He took the time to thoroughly address my concerns, explaining the diagnosis and treatment options in a clear and accessible manner. Their combined efforts created a welcoming atmosphere, making my urgent care visit as smooth as possible. I highly appreciate their dedication to providing excellent patient care.
First time here. Lucked out there was no wait. Waited about 5-10 min. Saw PA Kevin. Very friendly, fast and efficient. Was out of there quickly prescriptions sent to pharmacy. Being a busy mom I don’t have a lot of time to wait and this was an excellent choice. The waiting room was getting full as I left but I think you can book online appointments. Thanks again Kevin!
It was good this other doctor these other diseases I didn’t have them.He make me feel much better.
We were seen quickly, the office was clean, and the staff was very kind and personable.
Slices my finger at 7pm at night. Went to NextCare, which was open to 8pm. I was seen very quickly, the staff was great, the NP was awesome! I was out of there with 9 stitches around 8:45. Thank you
My son needed a sports physical and was very impressed on how quick the appointment was.
Super happy with the overall everything, I was in and out quickly Dr. was great see you guys in for my next DoT visit thank you
Avoid this location! If you have the option to choose an urgent care or minute clinic go the extra distance and choose one down the road. Heres my story....I made an appointment online first thing on a Sunday morning. My teenage son informed me he needed a sports physical the next day to try out for baseball team. I was so happy to see time slots available so I completed my paperwork online and booked an appointment. When I arrived on time they informed me even though I had an appointment there was an hour or more wait. Not ideal, but it is what it is. I told her that I understood and to please call us at the number they asked for at check in and we would come back. She told us we would have to be back within a 5 minute period to be seen. I thought this was absurd and unreasonable considering they overbooked our scheduled appointment. How about they call me 10 minutes before they were ready to see us? Seems reasonable to me. We left to run errands and they called me 30 minutes later and said they were ready for us. We showed up 7 minutes later and they told us we were too late and we would have to wait for all of the people sitting in the waiting room to be seen by the PA. Never again will I go there. I asked for our paperwork back and left the office.
Went in for a sports physical that is required for sports participation and another school activity. The nurse practitioner (Norby) wanted $25 for the physical and another $25 for one signature on the form for the second school activity. Literally one signature and no separate examination requirements. The school activity will accept the documents for the sports physical as they have the common sense to do so. However, we’ll never be back to Next Care, at least not to that location, and we’ll be certain to let everyone we know of our experience with your unprofessional nurse.
Great location! All of the staff were friendly and the NP was thorough and attentive. I made an appointment for 7pm and was in and out very quickly. Highly recommend.
Fast and friendly service, from the front desk to the medical assistant to my PA it was a great experience. Very kind and attentive 🤩 no wait time, but as anywhere wait times can vary. Thank you
I brought my sick kiddo in and they made me scan a QR code and spend 20 minutes filling out forms and manually taking pictures of IDs. My kid wouldn’t be seen until all online info was filled out. The screen opened up a contract which I closed and the whole screen sliced and I was advised I had to start all over again. I asked if this was necessary and can I just give them my insurance info so my child could be seen. Their response was, “Well you can fill out all the papers instead but we prefer to be paperless.”. It’s an urgent care that is urgent about online documentation but not care for a sick kiddo. Awful horrible experience.
I made an appt. and was still the last person seen as the office was closing. About an hour after arriving. The care I got was very good and thorough and I will go back if needed. Front and back office staff were super nice and rhe PA Robert was caring and thorough.
Office was clean andbrihht. The staff was friendly and efficient. The PA that treated me seemed compassionate and thorough.
Bottom line upfront: They sent the antibiotics they prescribed me to the wrong pharmacy. Im not sure why they had me write down the pharmacy I wanted to use twice (once in the online portal when I was setting up the appointment, and again when I was in the building and signed in to the appointment itself) if they were just going to send it to the closets pharmacy to me.Yes, they sent the prescription to a closer pharmacy which some might think is more convenient. But I work an overnight shift and the hours at the one they sent it to arent optimal with my sleep schedule. They also didnt advise to me the specific pharmacy they sent the prescription to. They just said We sent the prescription to your pharmacy. I was given yet another lesson on never assuming things as I drove to the pharmacy I requested, only to be told that they did not have a prescription for me and they had sent it to the pharmacy closest to my house. Its not the worst thing in the world, the pharmacy I requested wasnt ridiculously far out of my way or anything. I just think of the people out there who may have mental conditions or are very ill needing a prescription sent somewhere specific and it not ending up there. Now that I got the bad out of the way, heres the good. The office was clean, the service was quick, and they figured out what was wrong with me. Which, other than my prescription being sent to the right place are the only things I want from an urgent care. Clean, quick, accurate diagnosis, and following instructions. They hit 3 of the 4 things I look for in an urgent care so if you use them just double check before you leave that everything is in order and you know where you need to go from there.Another plus, the PA, Kevin Kon, was very friendly and that was appreciated considering how sick I felt.
The PA did not take take his temperature or look in his ears or in his nostrils even though he had a 103 fever. He just said, sorry, common cold. A thorough evaluation was never performed. Will not go back.
Had an upper respiratory infection Came in on a Saturday. Did not have to wait very long. Front desk was courtesy and helpful. The nurse and PA were very efficient and friendly. Diagnosed my problem and explained the medication. The care was excellent Very happy and glad I came
On monday Destiny Sanchez wokecup with a cough and fever. For ten days didnt get better. One visit to NextCare and the next day she was better. I was very satisfied with the fast and professional care they provided my child with.
Facility is clean and well maintained. We saw Patricia Faulkner FNP. She’s very nice and very thorough. Since we are from Utah, we don’t have a doctor here. But if/when we do need one, we will certainly make her our Go To!
They got me in quickly, but now I know why. They are just worried about getting you out.I hadnt had the flu for 48 hours. The med. Ast. Said that it had been to long. So I decided to go back to the front and said that it hadnt been 48 hours and I would like pescription. She said you will have to wait. So I waited another half an hour. Nothing! went back up, and she said it had been called in so Said great and then before I left turned around and said it had been to long.wwbeforesI walked outshe said i couldnt have theperscription.
8/21 This Next Urgent Care is so efficient and they are so friendly! In & out, which is GREAT! I highly recommend it!8/22 My review changes a bit from one day to the next. This time it took forever to get in and once we got to a room it took another hour for the doctor to come in. The doctor was different this time, I realize you won’t get the same one each time however this one didn’t really even seem or look like an actual doctor. I felt like he came in with a notion of oh you just have a cold, so bye. I feel like he is more concerned about co-pays and then the patient. That was not my first experience yesterday but today it changed.
I had sliced my finger quite deeply and decided I needed help to get the bleeding stopped. I was taken immediately into the exam room and after 5 stitches, was released. All of the staff were very helpful and professional. Robert, the PA, was great and explained everything he was doing.I would recommend this facility to anyone.
I almost prefer urgent care over my own primary care doctor! Both times in the last 5 weeks I’ve been pretty sick, I’ve been able to get care immediately without having to wait weeks. The doctors are straightforward and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
From the front desk, RN to PA.. everyone was amazing. Kevin Kon PA was so sweet to my little one.. she told everyone when she got home how nice he was. Will for sure come back
We have always been treated very well at this urgent care over the course of many years, and today was no different. We needed a COVID test done right away for my special needs/disabled daughter in order for her to get approved for the next step of her treatment. I was under pressure and frustrated by the process of having to drag her into the urgent care to get this done but Doreen at NextCare called me prior to the appointment to explain the process in greater detail and was very sensitive to our situation. She was very reassuring over the phone and once we arrived for the appointment she personally greeted us at the door and rushed us back so we could get things done quickly. The medical staff was very kind and accommodating. Everyone went above and beyond to help us out during this stressful process with our special needs daughter. Thank you so much!
I went within the first hour of the clinic opening and it was incredibly quick. I didnt even sit back down after filling out the paperwork before my name was called. All 3 of the people I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable, from the front desk on back. I ended up being referred to the ER, and they were more than happy to facilitate an ambulance if it was necessary. The specific ER they referred me to was also wonderful and full of terrific staff. Overall I couldnt have asked for better service during an unpleasant experience.
Came in with shortness of breath and some coughing. Was seem in reasonable time they were super busy. Doctor Nordby took his time with me and did an amazing exam. Figured out what was going on immediately. Thank goodness for this doctor there!
Quick and efficient service. I have used in the past and will continue using when needed.
My only problem was is that I arrived before 5 pm, sat in the front waiting area for an hour and a half before getting called back to an exam room and then I had to wait another hour and 15 minutes or so before I saw the Doctor. They closed at 7 pm and I didn’t get out of there until after 8 pm. I was the last patient there. The only ones there that were left were the nurse who treated me and the Doctor. Everyone else was gone. I was there over 3 hours. My back now hurts and my hips hurt from sitting on the exam bed for so long without support. The treatment itself that I received was good and the staff was really friendly, no complaints there at all. It’s just the wait time is horrible.
Fast & efficient - friday evening and easy to make an appt online. Thank you.
Online check-in, got right in, PAC did a great job!!! Highly recommended!!!
The entire visit, from setting appointment to meeting with the doctor, went swimmingly. I am highly impressed!
Made an appointment for 2:15pm but when we arrived they said they were behind by about an hour. They said they’d call/text us when they had a room ready which I thought was much nicer than sitting in a waiting room. At almost exactly 3:15 they called us in, took vitals and swabbed my mom for flu/covid. They said results in 15/20 minutes and sure enough the dr came in in that time range. I appreciate that their time estimates were on target. The doctor was nice, listened to my concerns, answered my questions and we were in our way. 1 star taken off just because we had to wait.
My appointment was recognized and treated appropriately even though the center was crowded. The staff was courteous to walk-ins but explained that those with appointments had priority. The medical assistant and the PA were efficient and competent.
Such a great doctor here, very humorous. Great nurse as well, vaccine was quick and not painful. I had to go in to get stitches and was scared but the doctor made it a very comfortable, personable experience and was persistent in seeing if I was doing alright every few minutes and communicated step by step which tools he was using and what he was doing.
No line, out fast. Great place for sports physical
Fast efficient friendly. I will return when I need to see somebody in a timely matter. My Doctor is so busy it takes days/weeks to get into the office. Sometimes you just can’t wait that long. I called, came in and was treated in 1/2 hour. Great service!
Sucky to get Covid again but I’m so grateful this place was open on Sunday 🤗 Amazingly hard working crew of ladies. FNP Miranda Angermeier & the whole staff was excellent!
First time visit. I was impressed with how friendly the receptionist was when greeting me upon arrival. They informed me of the possible wait time. The MA and PA were very professional, courteous, thorough, and patient.
This was the third urgent care I went to. They were so friendly, other places said 2 or 3 hour wait. I was seen within an hour and got in and out. Dr was helpful and the front desk was so pleasant, sincere, and nice.
Staff is always nice and efficient! Minimal waiting before seeing the provider...Its very easy to schedule appointments online, you can see live updates on wait times as well as complete your paperwork online. Very convenient! Thank you for making this such an easy process!
Wonderful experience at this urgent care! We were seen and discharged within 45 minutes of arriving. Extremely friendly provider, medical assistant, and front desk staff! Definitely would recommend this location and will be returning in the future if needed! Thank you all for your help and commitment to the wellness of others.
Staff seemed a bit unorganized from front to back office. Front office stating all paperwork wouldnt need to be filled out if established to asking me to come back in to fill out paperwork. I scheduled two appointments, a total of an hr for my son and I, and I asked if they could add my husband to our appt to get tested. They said they had no time for walk ins...how long does it take to swab someone in the same room? The back office didnt communicate well with the Dr. The Dr came into the room before the results were ready. Assistant came back to provide discharge papers to send us on our way without telling us the results. I had to guess that my son was positive with the info she was saying. She said oh I thought the Dr already told you. They could have definitely improved on communication and organization. Previous visits went well with no complaints.
Very happy with our experience here. They are always helpful and friendly
I went in Friday with a heavy cough and a sore throat. By Sunday my cough and throat were almost well again. Whats more I have a follow-up exercise they will check for me in a day or two. Excellent complete service
Even though this Urgent Care is a little out of my way, I always go here because I’ve had great experiences. You can schedule an appointment online and the wait times aren’t too bad. The doctors and staff are very nice and I’ve always left feeling better and feel the diagnosis were appropriate. They also do a follow up call a couple days later which is excellent customer care.
Fast, great service. Was in and out in 20 minutes.
The nurses were great. The doctor was not personable at all.
The staff was great, I appreciated the ability to check in via text, wait in my car and not risk further exposure in a lobby possibly with people who may have had Covid19. The desk staff were patient & kind. Even patient with an inappropriately loud and cranky old man yelling at them (In the lobby was mad about waiting like the rest of us)Have already recommended to my assistants to use NextCare for themselves and their families.
On line appointment - easy.Very little wait timeKnowledgeable provider - Kevin
Able to get in quickly. Pretty easy to put info in for online appt and online paperwork.
My experience was totally positive. When I compare other test sites where one drives through and has no person-to-person contact, this urgent care was wonderful. All paperwork was completed prior to my visit. My vital signs were taken by the nurse who also took the specimen without any problems. The PAC listened to my lungs. Educational paperwork was provided at my release. It was a professional experience.
Next care urgent care is very professional and prompt when you get there it is a very short wait time to see the doc. The key is to fill out what you can on line and set up your appt that way. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff is very friendly and courteous. This post is from a previous visit, this update is for a recent visit 10-28-21. The experience is the same. I have no need to change my survey to anything less than 5 stars
They’re always very compassionate and put you first. I’m grateful for their care as well as efficiency. My daughter was not feeling well at all but the dr was very funny and brought and energy that we really needed. He was able to get us out quickly with the prescription we needed and we were able to get her back into bed. I highly recommend this facility, the people who work here make it worth it.
The staff at NextCare were very professional and showed an interest in why I came there. They went over everything that they found and explained it very precisely.
I brought my teenage daughter in today and was extremely pleased with the service and attention we received. Everyone was very knowledgeable, took time with us, and was very kind. Kevin was our PA, and dont recall the womans name who checked us into the room, but both provided 5 star treatment. I would recommend you all to others in thefuture. Thank you!
Only issue is that had to go to another office to get x-ray. Had the machine but no one to read. X-ray facility said they get a lot of people from next care. Need to have full service or let people know that cannot do x-rays. Very inconvenient!
The worst walk in clinic anywhere … made an app for first thing in the morning. Got there no one at the desk for 15 minutes waited anothe 15 minutes and found out no one came to work today. The staff should be embarrassed… that’s probably why the front desk girl was hiding out back. Don’t go here!
Fairly quick visit. PA was straightforward and efficient. Front desk staff very kind as well.
I walked in on Saturday when I saw online no one was waiting. When I arrived, I was asked if I had an appointment which I said no. I couldnt be seen that day, and was given an appt for Sunday pm. I was told they were short staffed. I did return fir my appointment, and Kevin too great care if me. I am much better. Not sure this is the way your office works or not. If it is could you please update your web site. Thank you. Yes, I will return again if the need arises. Appreciate the clinic being there when I need it.
We have always had amazing customer service & care from here!In fact, I feel like weve had much better service & care then we have at our kids pediatricians office.Highly recommend this place.I also live the fact we can schedule an appointment online & head over closer to the time they have available instead of waiting there forever with a sick kiddo.Angela H
I took my 2 year old in after he got a burn. Dr. Kon decided to make a comment to my 2 year old when I asked him if he needed help to get onto the exam table saying let mommy help you, you already got hurt when she didnt help you earlier. As if kids dont just do things and end up hurt. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
They very poorly handled a laceration that needed attention. It was beyond their skill and they should have sent us to the ER but tried (not very well) to suture it and then give referrals for X-rays to cover themselves. We waited four days to hear back on X-ray results (tried calling, don’t bother) and ended up in the ER a week later anyway. ER doc said he would NOT have treated the wound the way they did. This visit took 1/2 day (With an “appointment”). I’ll never go back there.
I had an infection in my finger while travelling. I was seen by a physician assistant that was amazing! He was very skilled and was careful to prescribe an antibiotic that wouldnt make me sensitive to the sun. My nephew, a nursing instructor, was with me and was impressed. The visit only took me a half hour start to finish. All the staff from front office to treatment room were personable and professional.
Talk about nefarious issues... An associate of mine reported to me that she brought her son for a check up related to a sore throat to this Urgent Care. A Strep swab was ordered, later the doctor came in to do a discharge -highlighting strep negative when the strep test was never ever done! When the strep test was actually performed her son was positive for strep. A good lesson on paying attention and getting the proper services. Shame on you NextCare!
PA was thorough and provided us with answers and treatment for my daughter’s illness. Was able to make an appointment online so wait time in the lobby was limited. We were able to fill out 95% of the paperwork online which was nice and a timesaver!
I made an appointment for my sick child. We went 20min early and began filling out forms. After a brief time when we returned the forms, we are told it’s 2hr wait. They didn’t bother telling me when I checked inside nor when they handed me the forms to fill out.I have a sick child and they we’re expecting me to wait 2hrs even though I made an appointment. Such a displeasure experience and will not return to this location. Go somewhere else. Bad customer service and experience!!!
Went in first thing Friday morning with a sick, cranky, two year old. From the moment I came in the door to the moment I left everyone was great! I got help from the receptionist with insurance issues, the nurse put up with my child screaming in her face, and the doctor was prompt, honest, and very informing and helpful. I wish I got this type of care at my primary physician! You guys are awesome!!! Job well done!
Would recommend. Scheduled an online appt and saw dr within 5 minutes of scheduled time
Usually great service! Doctors are great, however my most recent visit for my girlfriend the medical assistant was rude. Acting like we are wasting her time, the tone and attitude and the way she carried herself was as if she didnt want to help us or even give us the time of day. Im sure after feeling awful for sometime you wouldnt want your urgent care medical assistant to have that attitude towards you. Every thing else went well and I appreciate the kindness and knowledge of the doctor. Only voicing this because Im sure other people dont want the vibes.
We had a very positive experience. My granddaughter was hurt at soccer practice. We arrived at Urgent Care near the end of their service hours. Check-in and insurance verification were quick, thorough, and we were ushered in quickly. An encounter with the goal post caused a laceration above her eye and through her eyebrow. A PA was on duty. 8-year old girl needed stitches and we were given the option to go to ER and work with a plastic surgeon, which was considered. In the end we felt comfortable with the PA and she did a wonderful job both before the procedure and during it. She was careful to explain what was happening, what would hurt and when it would be numb. She graciously told us that yes, they were now closed but reassured us she only mentioned it so we would know we had their full attention and they would not be pulled away to care for anyone else. I can’t thank them enough for providing such care and comfort. The cut required 6 stitches and the scar isn’t noticeable.
During covid, it’s hard to make appointments or get in anywhere for non-covid related issues but this office is amazing and understands that urgent cares are still extremely important for those non-emergency illnesses. They made sure that I was seen quickly and they cared about my experience, which I appreciated.
The doctors and staff were wonderful. They made my daughter feel comfortable and took great care of her. The doctor talked and joked with her during the whole process as he was stitching her arm.
I had a great experience all the way around. The reception was quick and easy and the medical staff was awesome. My results were back to me quickly and the visit was fast.I recmmend over ER any day!
I came in for a rapid antigen test for travel and I was given paperwork to complete and once done taken back for the testing. My husband and I were in and out within an hour. Staff was super friendly and professional, you could tell they enjoyed working together, they had a great camaraderie. I will use them again for sure.
Quick, easy online check-in, great service to solve an issue when urgent care us needed. Very convenient. Would highly recommend when you cant get into see primary care physician.
Made online appointment for the next day, arrived and checked in via the app while sitting in my car in the parking lot.. They texted me to come in and I was in and out in about 40 minutes.I have nothing but full respect and appreciation for what these health care professionals go through each and every day.
Went to NextCare for an ear infection. I was prescribed a prescription for $400 (Ciprodex 0.3%-0.1%) which I could not afford. Went back to get another prescription for the same problem and was prescribed Cortisporin-TC 3.3 mg-3mg-10 mg-0.5mg ear drops which was $200. My problem is that I went for an ear infection and was prescribed these two prescriptions separately that are incredibly expensive. What is wrong with simple Amoxicillin? Good grief. Do the docs or PAs not take into account that most patients cannot afford these medications or the costs? Not pleased at all with my appointment, prescription recommendations and Im still in pain with an ear infection. Not happy and still in painCecilia SpencerPeoria, AZ
I made an appointment for 1:10 pm, arrived by 1:00 pm, there was one apt before me and 2 walk ins, both walk ins went in before me. There was one provider seeing patients I was told, front office very immature, asked them how many people were waiting in the back and they could not tell me? After I waited an hour for a appointment and having seen 2 people leave that I never saw go in in that hour and knowing there were at least 2 people waiting in the back (could have been more, since front desk did not know) I left. Dont go if you dont have a lot of time to kill.
I was taken to exam room after sitting in waiting room 55 minutes past appointment time. Arrived at Peoria location 10 minutes before appt time. Now have been waiting ito be seen in exam room 35 minutes. Rediculous
Went there with my mom to get an XR per her PCP request. She has been coughing and feeling so sick for the last couple of days. The moment she got there, she was treated inappropriately. The staff was incredibly rude to her. The PA that saw her was also extremely rude. Everyone there made is seem like them being backed up with patients was her fault. She went there to get care and was met with a lot of disrespect/rude behavior. As a nurse, I was appalled at how awful she was treated. We will not be coming back here again.
Quick and efficient service, I was able to get an appointment from their app, got everything set up before my daughters visit. Thank you for getting us in.
I had a COVID19 test performed April 20, 2021 at the Next Care Urgent Care facility at 20470 N Pleasant Rd unit 102. Facility was easy to access, clean and well organized. My test was completed as scheduled and I received my negative test document within 20 minutes of being tested. Very satisfied.
I had been suffering for a few days from the blooming palo verde trees in my daughters neighborhood until I couldn’t breathe anymore . I went online with nextcare urgent care which was the nearest urgent care. I made an appt online for 9:30am and arrived about 9:15. I filled out 2 short papers (online I filled out my history) and they called me back about 9:25. A really nice NP came in within 5 minutes and after listening to my lungs, heart and looking into my ears and nose he agreed that I was having allergy issues. (With Covid crazy going on they have to make sure symptoms aren’t covid). Np ordered a Kenalog shot for me as well as 2 prescriptions. He had me wait 15 minutes to verify I didn’t have a reaction and I was out of there by 9:55. I found the place very professional, clean and well run. I was very happy with my appt with NextCare and definitely recommend them.
Great service ! Once I checked in, I was seen within 10 minutes. The doctor also went through after care steps with me what she was very impressive.
Robert the NP was very kind and listened to my health concerns.
We had a great experience here this morning. My daughter woke up from a nap with a sore throat and fever so we took her in this morning and were able to get in within 30 minutes. We checked in online and by the time we filled out paperwork we were being called back. The medical assistant and Dr. were both very professional and polite and thorough. They did a strep test right away so we didnt have to wait long at all, the whole thing was under 30 minutes total. They called in the prescription and we were on our way. Overall very happy with the service we received, its not the closest urgent care to us but I will definitely be coming back!
My 1 year old daughter was seen quickly and prescribed antibiotics within 10 minutes! The provider and staff were so kind. Office was so clean. Would definitely return if a need arises!
Very caring facility. Dr was great. Not a long wait
Very courteous and fast processing from beginning to end. I set-up the appt online and when I arrived, they quickly checked me in and saw the doctor within 6-7 minutes. Highly recommend scheduling an appt online if possible but otherwise were not busy, at all.
In and out quickly, properly diagnosed and treated. Thank you!
Visited Next Care and Nordby FNP and their staff are always friendly and efficient. I have been able to easily make an appointment online and receive a prompt reply and reminder. Nordby FNP listens to your concerns.
I go to nextcare when I need to get in right away, minor injuries, sinus infections, etc and its a perfect solution to the problem of primary care doctors being so booked out you cant get in for appointments for weeks. Im done with that nonsense thanks to nextcare!
Prescribed finally right prescription after going to a different urgent care twice.
Wish I could give zero stars! Had to take my child to another urgent care because the X-ray would be available until the next day?!?! Even people at banner had the same story! I guess people don’t get hurt in the weekends! The banner urgent care even met my son at the door with a wheelchair. Go there instead!
We’ve been going here for many years. All the staff is great! They don’t try and rush through visits. They Answer all my questions. This next care urgent care is the best!!! Everyone is kind and helpful especially Vinny!! Thanks Next Care for taking care of my family!!
Online appt process was great, did the pre-paperwork online, the tech that checked vitals and completed the COVID rapid test was super friendly and speedy. The PA came in and had good bedside manners until the test was positive. Was handed paperwork and told to exit out back. I completely understand a different exit given a positive case, but there was no dialogue on how to treat or care for this virus or check for understanding before just being pointed where to exit. I know information is included in the exit paperwork, but the care piece should have been covered before leaving. Small piece of feedback, but otherwise, we have always had a good experience with this office from front desk staff to medical staff.
I was taken back quickly and the staff was excellent. They greeted me when I arrived, asked if needed anything, triage was efficient and the doctor took the time to answer my questions. They called the next day to check in and make sure that I understood aftercare instructions.
If I can give this place zero stars I would! I have been here a couple times in the past but long ago. I came here today for a covid test because I’ve been around someone that had it. The medical assistant older gal name started with a V, did the swab practically shoved it far into both my nostrils to the point my head hit the wall she was not friendly at all and lacked compassion. So RUDE!! and aggressive, I can’t believe how unprofessional she was. PA name started with a K came in room did not knock just barged in aggressively. And did his check up, asked him who the gal name was that did my test and he told me and asked why, told him what happened and he said “ okay I’ll let her know sorry about that” I’m so shocked how rude and inconsiderate these two workers were. The front desk is amazing, the young guy up there was so kind and just overall friendly. Did not expect once I got to the back how unprofessional people would be, it is funny because I audit places like this for a living. Will never come here again. I am sure they do covid tests all day but it’s the reality of the world we living in, so either get a new job or put a happy face on.
I was miss diagnosed yesterday at a different urgent care. So glad I should get a second opinion. The staff was extremely friendly and I am now on the recovery from shingles. Ouch.
They were very helpful. I was glad I could get an appointment today. They took the time to listened to my concerns and were able to diagnose what was the problem. But was disappointed that it took 45 mins after my scheduled time.to be called back to a room.
I was going to give them 5 stars but they blew it. They were fast and friendly. Felt like I got decent care. Then they dropped the ball.Follow up call promised by reception and never received. A week after my visit, my symptoms worsened. I placed a call early AM on March 29 to speak with the PA-C who saw me. Was told he was with a patient and would return my call sometime today. That call still has not happened. Apparently I am not worthy of their time. They are not worthy of my money. I will not recommend nor return.
We were in and out of the office in 20 minutes! It was so quick and easy. Every one was very friendly and listened. Definitely recommend.
I used the online appointments but I took the 8:30am time slot. Front desk person was very pleasant. I signed the forms and I was brought in. Vital signs, medication list and symptoms were next and based on the symptoms I hada lab test was done. I then moved to the next room and the PA came in he too was very pleasant, he gave me an exam when that was done he checked on my lab report. My diagnosis was made, he explained everything to me . Medication was ordered at the closest pharmacy. I was done. Everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. I am sure when they get crowded it might back up some but these practioners would stay as described above. Thank you all I am looking forward to feeling better.
I went in for a Rapid Covid Test this afternoon. The staff and PA were extremely polite, professional and friendly. They were very thorough in explaining the test and what happens if you test negative or positive. I tested negative and was given details of what to expect, what to do if additional symptoms show up, etc... Id highly recommend this location!
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and caring to my sons injury to his knee. We were seen immediately and were happy that imaging was on the premises. We have also been to next care when sick and received the same excellent service.
The location of NextCare is right around the corner and very convenient. I made an appointment and the wait was short. The nurse was very competent and took care of my problem efficiently. I will use them again and tell my friends it was a goo;d experience.
Went in with severe lower back pain. Had an appointment for 10:20, got there at 9:55 and was seen immediately. They were very friendly and professional. Great experience and very quick visit. Thank you!
Easy to use online tool. Once at appointment everything was quick but friendly the entire time. Also they work with VA benefits for veterans!
This was an awesome experience. From a warm and professional greeting by the receptionist to a short wait to have my vitals taken to seeing the PA. She was efficient but I didnt feel rushed. By the time I got to my pharmacy, which was just down the street, my prescription had been received and was being filled. Thank you, NextCare.
Feel like I was ripped off by going to this Urgent care. I was misdiagnosed and ended up spending about $500 and it did not fix the problem. I definitely would not recommend going to this urgent care. I think doctors get away with way too much I feel like if they charge you money and do not fix the problem you should get your money back.
Ive got mixed emotions about leaving this post. I came in on Saturday for a case of strep throat. This trip was fantastic!Today, Im having a reaction with the antibiotics I was prescribed. I called in at 3pm when I realized it had to do with the antibiotic. They told me that theyd call me within an hour about either coming in for the reaction or just getting different antibiotics phoned in with my pharmacy. I waited for the call until 5 came around and I called in again. This time they told me that they were very busy and would call me by the end of the day. Its now 8pm and they are closed. No call, email, or anything. Maybe theyll call tomorrow, but Id think that a reaction to medication would get some kind of quick call back. Now, Im without an antibiotic, because Im not taking it with this reaction, and not sure what to do for the reaction.
Visited Nov26 for Covid— Really unhappy with the treatment and felt it was a waste of 70$ with my insurance. Only given Paxlovid— Which has bad write ups. It overall was a total waste of time on my part— no Tx for coughs? They just pushed over the counter sweetened syrups— that don’t work— it was a production line process overall
We were sent to this location from another urgent care as the provider at the first urgent care felt my son needed a covid test and this was not available at the first urgent care. We were recommended to come to this location. We arrived and I was told we arent accepting any more covid tests today. It was recommended that we come back tomorrow and we did return. We checked in and waited to be called in from our car. I was then called and told that normally performing a covid test on a child my sons age is no problem however the provider that was working today didnt feel comfortable performing the test. We were turned away after waiting for 30 minutes in the parking lot to be called in. We will never waste our time with nextcare again.
I chose this urgent care because it was geographically favorable and I was able to schedule an appointment on line. The front office gentleman was friendly and welcoming. Rick, the PA, appeared professional as well as thorough. The nurse, on the other hand, did not introduce herself and was all business.
Great staff, all were friendly and professional. Addressed the issue and gave meds to help me recover.Better than other urgent cares I have been to before.
I phoned for an appointment. It was quick and easy to fill out the forms online. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. The PA was very thorough and thoughtful.
My 11 year old daughter was attacked by a dog and had multiple wounds. She was seen literally within 2-3 minutes of checking in. Doctor was super empathetic, gentle, answering all her answers and responding to her pain. Venny of the front desk was very helpful and took care of all the paperwork for insurance, school and extra curricular activities. We are extremely grateful for the care, concern and professionalism of all the personnel who took care of my daughter. You made a very traumatic experience much better. Thank you. RCC
I didnt wait long to see a doctor. The doctor was very good, professional, and knowledgeable. They took x-rays at the one I went to but not all of them have x-ray machines so be careful which one you go to if you think you need that. Staff was friendly and courteous.
Very professional place. From reception to the medical assistants (MA) to the nurses and to the doctors. All were professional and the hospitality is awesome. Plus medical aid is top notch. I will use this location for all my urgent needs.
My husband had a random and painful rash appear and we had concerns it may be COVID related. After being turned away by other urgent care centers due to either COVID restrictions or a lack of appointments, we were pleased to see Nextcare at Lake Pleasant accepted him that same morning. The physician assistant took him in and diagnosed him accurately and quickly. He was out the door in 30 minutes with a prescription and peace of mind.I was worried that we would be getting a bill in the hundreds of dollars for his care, but was pleasantly surprised to get a sensible and wallet friendly sub 30 dollar bill a few weeks later. (This may also be because we had insurance that discounted it.)So thank you Nextcare for being both sensibly priced for insured patients and accessible for your local residents :)
From the phone call before I arrived to when I left this facility, the entire staff were amazing. Great customer service and care. They went above and beyond to help me with my concerns and checked to make sure there werent bigger issues. I will definitely be back if needed!
I showed up at open (7:55am, they open at 8 but the door was unlocked) and I was out the door by 8:20am. Very courteous, professional, efficient service. We have been to this location before for my wife as well and had no issues. I would gladly return in the future.
Everyone was happy and caring and happy abd nice. The PA diagnosed the problem right away and looked up penicillin alternative since I can,t use penicillin.
I am writing a review regarding my experience getting a covid pcr test. Getting seen and having the exam taken was very quick, and I commend them for that. That is were my positive experience ends, whats the point of taking the tests if you have to jump through a series of burning hoops to get the results? I have recieved two phone calls from a private number that I just happen to barely miss both times, who even answers private numbers in an age where we are spamed with endless telemarketers? The message left said to call 1800 next care and ask for the lake pleasant location. Just so you all know thats not even an option. I have now spent a combined hour waiting on the phone trying to get my results and when I did get through they said they would email my results, that was nearly eight hours ago. This is the third time Ive had to get pcr tests taken and only with nextcare has it been this difficult to get the results. Do yourself a favor a try Walgreens next door, they are faster and certainly less convoluted.
I arrived a few minutes before opening time and found myself 11th in line outside. I witnessed the first patient being admitted inside, After 15 minutes I tried to make an appointment online but I was unable to navigate through your website to the place to do this. I called your office and finally got through to a live person who instructed me to go to door and get help making an appointment. Your staff inside vigorously blocked my entry. Your agent that I had on the phone through all this did help me with getting an appointment at a different location. All turned out well, but I never felt welcomed. I know that this business is stressful and Covid is a serious obstacle to overcome for health care providers. Please make your web site functional for making online appointments and during this time of Covid restrictions staff your customer service to the level that it needs to be more helpful for callers like me
The staff was friendly but anyone looking for an urgent care center for your kids should know NOT to go there. My daughter was having an allergic reaction (first time ever so we had no idea what to do or expect) and they checked us in, charged us, took us back to a room, took her vitals and then the doctor came in and told us they cant treat her because she is too small. So, we had to go on to the hospital. It was a waste of time and money so if I can let other parents know not to take kids there because they basically wont treat them thats all I am after. Again, nice staff but when your in a pinch for time and they wont treat your kid, just go somewhere else.
My daughter has been to this urgent care location twice in the past week. We are new to the area and am trying to establish our PCP through my insurance. The first time she visited, she felt that she had a sinus infection. The nurse was rude and impatient. She came in and had a swab, when she asked what it was for, she rudely said sighed and said, COVID!. She did test positive for COVID and was sent home with minimal directions. Her second visit was today for what we were sure was strep. When the doctor came in, they did not listen to her lungs or heart, check her ears, etc. When she asked the doctor if he could please listen to her lungs, he very rudely said, Listen! We are trying to minimize our contact and exposure. We are concerned about her lungs since she was diagnosed with COVID.I fully understand precautions and being cautious, but it is their job to check a patients vitals and be sure that further follow up is not needed. I also did not feel the conduct exhibited by the two caregivers was professional or caring. We will not be back, and we cannot recommend this urgent care. I am very, very disappointed.
What a great experience. The ENTIRE staff was extremely professional, and still personable. The PA, Kevin Kon, is amazing!I have never had a bad experience here and highly recommend this Facility!
Do yourself a favor and go to another urgent care. I waited at the reception for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and now I have waited over an hour to see the doctor. I shouldnt have ann appointment and still want this long to be helped. Attitude of front desk was not very welcoming either.
I’ve had to take 4 kids in at different times for Covid tests. They are pretty quick and super kind. They get us in and out with needed paperwork. 3 were appts one was a walk-in. We did have to wait a bit for the walk-in but that’s to be expected.
They are very courteous and on the ball. Got right in with my appointment time. I’ve used them several times, always nice people there to help. Got the app, easy check-in.
I have a large family and we use this location for any time it’s needed. My visit today was (as always) a helpful experience. Everyone from front desk to provider was efficient, professional, compassionate, and friendly.
Im a veteran and have never been turned away for medical care. I have been seen here several times and never had an issue. Im in pain and you turned me away. I will be letting Tricare know how you treat people. Being short staffed is not my problem its yours. I came for help. Wow
Always super friendly. Kevin Kon is great. All the ladies help make going to the doctor a pleasurable experience. This is my go to place whenever I need medical attention. Outstanding!
My original review was overly critical, so wanted to revise to be more fair. It took longer than expected, due to what I thought was being overlooked while waiting in the exam room, but it could have been due to other reasons. Also, my understanding of the cdc guidelines was incorrect during my original post, so what I was provided from the P.A. was more accurate than I originally credited. Also, I was told in advance about the testing available, and the possible delays.
I am less than happy . It’s been 10 hrs since I’ve been to clinic. I was not very confident with the PA I seen. He did not state he was a PA so all time he’s discussing situation with me, IFelt he was “odd”I put on my profile myPharm was CVS @91 & Union HillsHe sent scriptTo Walgreens at 24?? Something on Indian school Road??The over the counter med, did not require a Dr script and should not be scribe to anyone with breathing problems . Which I stressed I had and was having pbm getting airSo now… you draw your own answer. Staff was great friendly and competentI lodged $20 for a scrip I can not take and because it is over the counter, of course insurance denies coverage
The staff was very friendly and there’s a very lighthearted atmosphere in NextCare urgent care. Even with the delays I received my Covid test quickly and got the results back faster than I was expecting. I would recommend this site over FastMed urgent care on 35th Ave. to anybody needing a rapid result Covid test. I would return.
My son and I showed up at 8am, for a walk in covid test. Filled out the paperwork, was seen in about 30 minutes, with results in another 15 minutes. Very painless, and would highly recommend!!
You have other options…use them!I have bad seasonal allergies and have a medication that has worked well for years. When I called to ask if the provider is comfortable with the medication, the answer was yes. After seeing the provider, a Nurse Practitioner, she was not only not comfortable with the medication she was completely misinformed on its uses. She was not even considering the medication, ever. Even when she said she was ok giving it. I was shocked when she went on to accuse me abusing the medication. An allergy medication!! From the beginning of the visit it was obvious that she didn’t like the idea that her patient was asking for a specific medication. I know this because she said it! She doesn’t like informed patients. If you’re a strong advocate for yourself she not going to listen. The tone turned very quickly and even though she did not even entertain my question she was more than happy to charge me for nothing. However…she was willing to prescribe an unnecessary antibiotic!! Go figure!I would LOVE a response from Nextcare.
NextCare prioritizes their “numbers”, over actual customer service. They have one sub-adequate provider attempting to see an extreme amount of patients per day.My mother saw PA Kevin the other day, suffering from fever, cough, extreme body aches, fatigue, vomiting, etc.Per proper care, she should have been prescribed antibiotics + prednisone. Yet she was sent home with nothing. We have been attempting to call the facility to request medication yet have had no luck besides 45+ minute call waiting times. Do not use NextCare.
I chose this place because they were listed as having on-site x-ray and lab, however, neither time I went did they use either. They dont use a scale or a touchless thermometer. They didnt know there is a pharmacy in the same shopping center. They werent rude like some of the other centers, however, they can do better. I sat for too long in the exam room.
After scheduling online, we still had to wait for an hour (past the schedules time). After diagnosis, a perscription was given for a medicine the nurse practioner knew was not covered by most insurance, but a coupon was provided. When I arrived at the pharmacy, they pointed out the coupon was expired. Because the medicine is not common, they would also need to order the medicine. Will not go back to NextCare anytime soon.
From the second I walked in the door I was provided with excellent care from julie at the front desk who was a lot of help letting me know the procedures for checking in. Then alex called me back and helped me get ready and get my vitals and stuff so I was ready for the provider. Alex was very friendly and made sure I felt comfortable because of all the scary covid stuff happening right now and I dont want to get sick so he made me feel comfortable. Then Kevin the provider walked in after alex had left and helped me come to a conclusion about my issue and was very kind. I would recommend NextCare Urgent Care to anyone knowing that their staff of all star players will help anyone. They were very professional. My visit was a breeze with all 3 of them. Thank you!
I called to schedule Covid test there were openings available Friday. I needed a rapid test. Clear instructions were given as to the Covid procedure. The staff was professional and friendly. I had my test results in 15 minutes. This is the Next Care location I have used for over 10 years. Once again, thank you your there when I need you.
Urgent care in lake pleasant took great care of me and my family. We had a Covid scare and they managed to squeeze is all in together. They were very quick, professional, and caring.
I was seen immediately for a gushing wound that needed immediate attention. I was taken right in and bandaged until the doctor could see me which was also immediately. I was stitched up and given a tetanus shot right away. The doctor was so compassionate and caring and so was the staff. I would go there again in a heartbeat! Great people all around!
Office was very clean, speedy, courteous and friendly
Great experience! Got in right at my appointment time and was seen by the PA within 15min. In and out with my treatment plan in less than 30min!
They saw me quickly, people were friendly,
Tested positive for Covid the Sunday before Thanksgiving. 3 days in decided there has got to be some vitamins, IV, or something to help me feel better. Checked in on line to Nextcare. Made me wait in parking lot for over an hour. When I finally got in the nurses assistant took my BP and heart rate and asked why I was there? I said “ I have Covid and am looking to see if there is any relief?” She asked if I was vaccinated. I replied no. She replied, “why are you here then?” So I got up and walked out.We can go political all day long. But under oath I don’t believe a Dr should be able to refuse help. I get it. I made my choice. But who says I couldn’t reconsider or change my mind? Well, all Nextcare did was confirm in my mind that I would rather die then enter this facility for help again. Thank you for nothing.
I haven’t been to this location in about a year so things may have changed - but there was always a wait even with online check-in. Front desk was all about getting your money, and it’s always a Nurse Practitioner (pretty common). It beats the ER for sure. Only reason I stopped going is the hours were never conducive to when my family needed to go. Started using the BAnner Urgent care on 83rd and Deer Valley and would highly recommend it!
Ive been coming here for years and the staff is always warm, caring, and professional. The wait is usually not that long even during flu season and the center is always neat and clean. They are active members of the community (sponsoring various youth groups and organizations).
Unprofessional, rude staff waited for 2 hours, they wont tell you their fees upfront, do not go there for medical advice. Worst place ever!!!
Kevin was amazing! I’ve never had stitches before and he was great at telling funny stories to keep me distracted while he put them in and provided great service when he removed them as well. It was great to have the same person do both.
I was over charged. Doctor was good front desk no help at all.
Everything went well. Prescribed an antibiotic for the ingrown toenails
I didnt have an appointment this time, but they fit me in quickly. This location has always been excellent.
Every half a year, I get a swollen throat that I am typically prescribed antibiotics for. When I went in, I explained my condition (swollen throat) and the doctor with blonde hair in what seemed to be in her late 40s told me that she strongly believed I had covid, despite just having a negative test two days ago and that antibiotics won’t work because I don’t have strep. She insisted I automatically had covid because of my vaccination status and repeatedly said I had “multiple covid symptoms” when I only had one symptom - a sore throat. I took a covid test and to no surprise, I was negative. She gave me my negative results in a rude manner and gave me the antibiotics I requested, which she formally just said I didn’t need but clearly gave me since she just wanted to make me leave. Just because covid exists, apparently she thinks that relieves her of doing her actual job and understanding that other medical issues exist as well. Waste of time and money.
Great care. I had a reservation time. I was seen quickly. Very professional and Kevin my PA was through
Goid medical care with this company always. But I use the VA and it is an awkward process to get the VA to pay Next Care and fill my prescriptions at a local pharmacy.
I went in for a pain in my stomach. I need a ct scan but they are narrowing the problem down. I was in and out in the perfect amount of time and everyone was so nice. It was a great experience and really made me feel better with the information I received.
This was hands down the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. I was in and out in less than a half hour. The whole staff was so friendly. I highly recommend this facility and the staff.
Awful experience. Went in for a scorpion sting. Receptionist wasnt concerned with my level of pain. Seemed only concerned with getting insurance information so they can get paid. After close to 15 minutes of agony finally saw a physician assistant who wasnt much help. I would have been better off staying at home and treating myself. Advice. For something like this look up info on the internet. Dont waste your time and money going here .
Front staff very nice. New physician very slow. Poor bedside manner: very rude, doesnt listen very well, and although they didnt seem busy---she seemed overwhelmed. Diagnosed with infection. Said theyd call in medicine. They forgot. Had to be reminded. Wouldnt be posting this, except Nextcare unresponsive to concerns about physician. Basically advised by Nextcare physician that if I didnt like services, I could spend six hours at ER. Wow. Ok then.
They are very caring and compassion. I will recommend them very highly.
A little slow, but good care. NP wasknowledgable and attentive. The biggest problem was scheduling the location I wanted.
