I have had to have annual blood draws for years, secondary to ovarian cancer (diagnosed in 2006). As a result of the chemo, my veins have become very scarred and can be difficult to find for a beginner. For the 3rd year in a row, I have gone in to the appointment requesting to have their go to person for the blood draw as it always ends up coming to that anyway (this, by the way, was what I was told to do 3 years ago by staff).Unfortunately, they failed to honor the request once again. So there I sat with the first person for 5 minutes moving the needle around in my arm trying to find the vein. When she finally gave up, the second was called over (the very unfriendly young lady who was behind the desk checking people in---not sure if it was just a bad day or she just dislikes her choice in careers??). She proceeded to stick me again (in the same arm) and move the needle all around my arm for another few minutes. Meanwhile, the tourniquet has been cutting off circulation this whole time and my arm is throbbing from that as well. Finally, another young lady is called in (the go to person that was requested from the start). She finds a vein very quickly (no moving the needle all around in my arm), draws the 2 vials of blood without any issue and we are quickly done. This was my experience last year as well. LISTEN TO YOU PATIENTS, they make requests for a reason!
The greatest insult in the world. Rude and pathetic service. We were there on 23rd, issue with names and they were not able to find the appointment though we had scheduled it (blamed on long last name) and they took blood but later find out that they again messed up the whole names due to which they were not able to find it for lab. We were asked to redo the blood work again, and went in today.. guess what, the lady with K straight said she dont see the appointment. We called Quest and they talk to the lady at the front desk and MAGIC worked. Seems she didnt check the system correctly, and told me it was scheduled yesterday when they closed.. so what, your system is online and cant we schedule it when ever we need? all this while happening, the lady had this great face and great words at us always. You guys need to educate your staff on how to treat customer.. Remember, we were fasting both time. Now its 9:50am when I am writing and still not done. Last time it was done at 10:30am.
You set the employees up for failure. You know there is going to be a line out the door at 730. Why subject a person to sit at the desk and listen to angry patients while you have one nurse taking blood. I have been here 2 hours just to take blood. If you have a line out the door how doesnt it benefit you to get more help in each location?
Long wait times even with an appointment, front desk lady couldn’t find or didn’t want to find my lab order in their system and had me fill out a new lab order. Requested that i pay with a credit card but i only had cash on me. Condescending attitude all around. Not happy with their services.
Arrived at 3pm on Friday afternoon, walked right in, signed in, took my blood. In and out in 10 minutes!! GREAT service! Thank you!!
Always a short wait time and speedy appointment. Receptionist are always very kind and professional, Great experience every time.
The girls behind the front desk (Ashley) was very unpleasant, rude and short with people as they tried to register at the kiosk and asked questions.
