I really like this facility. I made an appointment online very easy to get through. I like the fact that it is close by my house. They were very fast to take care of my medical needs. So much better than a emergency room.
DON’T GO HERE.Don’t go to this location. Go to another one (or another urgent care company) even if it’s further away. It will save you time.I thought scheduling an urgent care appointment would be convenient because the location was around some other errands. I signed up online ahead of time. I was told to be there at 4:10 PM. I arrived and spoke to the receptionist at 4:12 PM - the sign is on the small side and not identified as NextCare so I missed the turn and had to circle back around. I patiently waited for over an hour.At 5:15 PM I requested information from the receptionist because as patient as I was waiting for my 4:10 APPOINTMENT if I didn’t get in soon I’d have to go because I had other things I needed to do. She said they were “a little behind” but I was next. She did offer to reschedule for the next day but at that point I didn’t want to repeat this scheduling nightmare. I set a timer on my watch and had my keys in hand ready to leave when, at 5:25 PM (1 hour and 15 minutes after my appointment) someone went to the lobby to get me. About 10 minutes later I had the tests taken that I needed. Then had to wait 10 minutes for the medical assistant. She was lovely - quite nice - but I got there almost 2 hours prior for my scheduled appointment so it doesn’t turn this negative experience into a positive one. Got the test results, they were negative. At 6:05 PM I had the pleasure of paying $161 for 15 minutes of medical care. I had to wait a total of 1 hour 50 minutes. I just needed a test for Covid, flu, & strep throat. I chose NextCare because I’ve previously had a good experience with them and the location was convenient. I will not be going to this location again, and am now wary of scheduling online with NextCare in general.I would give them 0.5/5 stars, because the medical assistant was nice and I was able to get my tests done but even so… $161?? Plus the ‘success’ of the “wait at home” online scheduling. What a waste of time and money.
The staff were courteous and professional. The person I saw was thorough and concerned. My only complaint was the appointment process. I made my appointment online and each appointment was 4 minutes apart. As a result, I was actually seen 50 minutes after my appointment time. They need to schedule appointments more realistically.
I had a very good experience with Next Care. All my questions were answered and all concerns I had were addressed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My prescription had to be modified in the last minute and they did in seconds. I was very pleased with services provided.
This was the smoothest, most efficient urgent care I’ve ever been to. From the man at the front desk all the way through the process, it was amazing. I was in a lot of pain and scared when I got there. They were so calm and reassuring. Once they peeled off all the towels where the blood was gushing, they promptly cleaned me up, numbed me up and gave me stitches. The whole process took less than an hour
First off, I came in so disorganized which isn’t like me but because it was so late in the day I knew I had to get seen for my symptoms that were all over the place and some of them didn’t even start all on the same day so I went to this establishment instead of my PCP plus this place was so much closer and because I had to pay for a cab I needed something close. I learned by calling them around a month ago that they said they covered at least one of my two insurances but the copay which is usually $0.00 for me may not be when I would go in. I signed in to their 3x5 piece of paper with the usual name, DOB, symptoms, etc. I rushed to fill it out so I could be seen ASAP since my symptoms were worsening with my mask on. Because I was so disorganized that meant I didn’t have my insurance cards, ID, debit card, water bottle, and on top of all that my phone battery was at around 30% which got drained quickly filling out their online paperwork and uploading the only picture I could get of my primary insurance card. I told the secretary of my situation and just when I thought I’d be turned away for not having all of the information needed to be seen, she found me under the name I had when I was married! I’ve been divorced for 10 years so the information she had of me was older than that. Thank goodness I was still in their system even though I don’t remember what I was seen for back then. So I get taken for my vitals and I ask for some water. I drank a lot while I was there but because I’m the passive patient when it comes to getting refills on water for instance I decided to drink the tap water once I gulped their 8 ounce cup down and I haven’t had tap water in a long time, it’s still gross! 😂 I definitely appreciate and am thankful for my filtered water at home. Well I got my diagnosis, I was given my discharge papers, and was told my prescriptions got sent to my pharmacy. I thanked the secretary for everything and was out the door headed home to charge my phone enough to scrounge up my cash in bills and coins to pay for the one prescription that my insurance didn’t cover. I think it’d be nice to have them match prescriptions to what the patient can afford. In conclusion, I appreciate each person that helped me and was ever so patient with me being frazzled and all.
It was a little long of a wait because they were dealing with an emergent patient, but were very communicative and kept the few us that were waiting updated. I saw FNP Laura Chiccarello and she was so patient, really understanding and actually wanted to talk through my symptoms. Everyone really, the MA and front desk were both very patient with me when I was far below my best.
Was in to be checked for strep(sore throat), able to schedule within the hour. Quick and easy online check-in. On schedule, virtually no wait. Friendly staff, would recommend. Well done by all that I came into contact with.
I was able to get an appointment immediately and my wait to be seen was short. I was asked for my copay prior to being seen however their credit card machine kept declining my payments. They asked me to leave my appt and go to an ATM. Finally, my Apple Pay worked and I was able to be seen. There was nothing wrong with my payment cards , apparently this was happening to patients the day prior. They need to get things fixed and not inconvenience patients who are there because they do not feel well.At my exam, the NP only looked in my ears and did not feel my lymph nodes or look at my throat to determine if my ear pain might be associated with either.
Had a great Experience at this urgent care center. The person at the front desk was very helpful and Marsha, the medical assistant and Laura the PA were also helpful. I was taken on time and was in and out in about 20 minutes.
Generally a very positive experience. Was able to schedule an appointment on line. Arrived as requested 10 min before scheduled time. Still had to wait for short while in waiting room. Then a bit more of a wait in the exam room before provider came in. Laura, FNP was very clear in explaining possibilities based on my symptoms. She was able to clarify and pinpoint a diagnosis after exam and prescribed appropriate treatment. She was professional and pleasant, clear and concise. Facility was older but clean. I would use this option for treatment again.
Office staff and doctor were very friendly. We were in and out quickly. Couldnt ask for more. Very happy with our experience.
I came in with a really bad upper respiratory infection. I dont have insurance, so I do self-pay and the lady checking me in informed me of a lower cost plan they have. I was checked in and seen right away. The medical staff were courteous and caring. They ruled out a couple major issues (flu & COVID), prescribed appropriate meds and sent the scripts right over to the pharmacy. I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time.
The physician set me straight on some things ajd I appreciated that. Still I was suurprised he didnt order some imaging given my history of discomfort and sometimes pain in.my belly when urinating , history of kidney stones, and now pain in my privates.
The front desk girl was mean and told me payment would be due up front but the problem was I had a co insurance at 20% and then there’s an allowed amount but she apparently didn’t know anything about that. Usually in that scenario you’d just bill insurance to see what they cover but she wasn’t going to do that. She attempted to charge me a whopping $150 when I know in fact that’s above the allowed amount. I told her I wouldn’t pay it and then she attempted to bargain with me which is even more sketchy. So I told her I wouldn’t pay more than $50 and she said fine. So goes to show you that it’s not legit she was bargaining insurance co-insurance. Sketchy.
My last experience was excellent. Staff was friendly, no wait and my kid received great care. I would give my last experience a 5 star . I rated a 4 star as I almost didnt return after last experience where an appointment was scheduled and when we showed up for our appointment, the office was closed and we received no communication from the office or Nextcare scheduling. Im glad I gave you another try! Thank you!
Took my wife there this morning and with us having an 8 month old I didnt go inside other to see how long the wait was. 30 min to an hour she thought so I sent her in. I just sat in the car with our child and waited. After she was done it was determined she had the flu. She was pretty out of it. I asked her if they prescribed her something and she thought they did. Yes I could have looked on her paperwork but I was just focused on getting her home and into bed I didnt. After about an hour I called the pharmacy to see if something was called in, they said nothing yet. I called back this place just to ask if they called something in and they said because I was authorized they couldnt tell me anything. I said I have all her info ( name SS address Etc) but they refused to tell me anything asking to talk with her. I woke her up and gave her the phone. They were talking to her about who knows what and I said to just authorize me them to speak with me. She said it was ok to talk with me, handed me the phone and they hung up the phone.I understand the privacy thing but I didnt ask for any personal information other than if they sent in a prescription. Bad Human Element in My Opinion. They could have said No and that would have been the end of it. Whats the problem with that?? If it was yes then they didnt call it in and needed a reminder to do so....Id never go back there.
First off, I put that I was having menstrual cycle concerns. Instead of telling me there was nothing they could do for me at the urgent care they charged me 160 dollars brought me back, put me in a room, the doctor told me I needed to go to a gyno so she gave me a sheet with numbers for gynos in the area. I told them I didn’t have insurance and instead of just giving me the references and turning me away they decided to charge me and bring me back for NOTHING. This was after I waited an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment.
Very pleased with the service, the receptionist was very friendly and helped us with the paperwork that was necessary. The doctor was very helpful and treated us with respect.I will recommend you to people I know.Thank you
This entire experience was terrible.I filled out the paperwork online and then it didn’t load the receptionist was terrible and called me up 7 times .The intake nurse was horrible . She couldn’t read the RX info on her computer and couldn’t add my meds . She took my blood pressure and when done she said she used wrong arm but didn’t re correct herself .The doctor had no bedside manner. They told me to wait to discharge papers that took forever and then they gave me someone else discharge papers .I would like to request my money back for the lack of service provided.
Took my 100 yr old mother in for suture removal of arm wound. The attending P.A. was knowledgeable, attentive and thorough. I would definitely recommend!
Waited for more than hour before I was seen by PA, not Dr. She came in for 20 seconds & had to go out again cus someone called her & came in again for 2mins & was out. No communication whatsoever. Not a good experience at all
Quick, and friendly! I highly recommend them...I walked in needing to be seen asap! They were fast and friendly and were able to fix me right up and on my way on a timely manner.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Nurse practitioner Elisabeth Fostino that saw me had no bed manners and refused to listen to your illness. She didn’t even touch me to check on me. That she spoke with me max of 3 minutes and discharged with no care.
Laura the provider is excellent. Great place to be seen if you can’t get in with your PCP in a timely manner. Staff is always kind and attentive
Everyone in the office was nice and caring. I went to Banner first there were 4 people in lobby I was told 3 hr wait and she couldnt make me an appointment went to second Banner she told me 2 hours and they were closing early so I couldnt wait if I wanted to tried to send me 10 miles away. So I went to NexCare only an hour wait and all were very professional
Made an appt.; they kept the appt time. Full tests done, left about an hour after it started. Brian Rush knew my medical history, and listened to my symptoms. Sent me home with antibiotics. He was empathic to my situation.
I was a little late for my scheduled appointment, but the receptionist still created me warmly and got me checked in quickly. Both the medical assistant and doctor were super nice And very professional. Not feeling good, everything was quick and easy, which I so greatly appreciate! Thank you all so very much!
Jonathan gave me a comprehensive assessment, the staff was friendly and patient, and the billing was simple. I would definitely recommend. I will go back for any minor health issues in the future.
Went in for a rib xray- I get there and the receptionist says that their tech isnt certified to do ribs and she tried calling me. I tried calling the number she left on my voicemail 5 times and it goes straight to a busy tone and hangs up. I verified the number with her, called it in front of her and she goes “hmmm that’s weird”. I didn’t know xray technicians are certified by each bone?
I have to get tested for t.b: they were. Quick and easy to get in and out also staff was very helpful and able to get the test done and also explain everything in detail so I would recommend to see them if you can soYou don’t have to wait to long for a hospital visit …
Just left this place. They need to learn professionalism. Listening to the front desk talk about how they won’t make as much as they want to after nursing school. “Bro, no way you should make way more” I know right! Dang Bro you are working so hard. We literally listened to gossip for a good 10 mins. Before they called my wife back for a “diagnosis” that consisted of Web MD results. What an absolute waste of time.
They were very understanding of financial issues and did not care of money they cared of my health and did what was needed for me first then figured it out after. Stitches were needed and everywhere else was too difficult and not as cooperative.
The fastest and best care I’ve had. I made an appointment online and they saw me right away. The doctor was excellent. Made sure I didn’t have Covid and diagnosed me with sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics with instructions of what to do. He also answered my questions satisfactorily.
I woke up with an eye infection and had been sick for a week. Staff was friendly and polite. Provider was patient, caring and took time to explain my diagnosis. Excellent care!
Everyone was so courteous, polite and nice to me. Excellent patient care from the entire staff, keep up the excellent job !!! This is the urgent care I always go to when I need health care if I cant get in to see my primary care physician.
Pleasant enough experience. Ive been seen here a couple times. My only complaint is this time with only one person ahead of me, it took over an hour to be seen. Otherwise the staff here is perfect.
Worst experience ever! I went in there telling him I needed to have an x-ray done I was gonna have a Cortisone shot. I got there at 12 o’clock and was not brought back till 1230 and sat in the room where I had to leave because I have patience. I have to see myself and I respect their time unlike the provider who was supposed to see me.
The staff was very personable and respectful. They were professional, efficient and took their time. The provider I saw this morning was : April Vanderford, FNP. She was great! She was approachable and took the time to listen to me. She was attentive, thorough, detailed and knowledgeable. I feel much better after my visit. Her communication skills were great . Getting to Be advised properly & being able to understand the next steps in order to become healthy is priceless. The staff & care made the experience what it was ***** stars all around! Thank you everyone. It was much appreciated! Katie Diaz
Great care! Every time I need help, I get a great service. And fast.THANK YOU 🙏
Had chest pains every night so went here to see if I cand get help for the moment and got it but the only thing I would say that was bad about my visit is that the time to get called was very long, my appointment was at 2pm had to wait about half an hour to get called and another half an hour of just waiting to be seen it was exhausting
I came in because I recently moved out of my state and needed a refill on my prescription, but my previous doctor was unable to do a telehealth because my insurance didn’t cover out of state. I didn’t currently have a primary doctor so I came here hoping to get a temporary refill of my current prescription while I am in the process of getting an in-state primary doctor. The doctor was able to get me up to a month refill on my prescription and a list of psychiatrists I would be able to reach out to to set up an appointment! All staff was very friendly and helpful and made me feel prioritized. Thanks again!
I was in contact with someone with the flu and started having symptoms so decided to go to an urgent care to be tested. From the wait time, to the front desk to the back office- everything was great. The front desk girl was super nice & Maria and the PA Kimberly were amazing, caring and thorough. Thank you for making me being sick just a little bit easier!
Excellent, professional and prompt care. First time I ever went to urgent care, butI would go again if necessary.
Waited 1:45 min for a scheduled appointment for sports physical. Do not recommend
Terrible experience. We set an appointment online, arrived a couple minutes early, and the place was empty. We were asked to wait in our car. Then after 30 minutes I see a couple walk inside, and then theysit down to wait for their visit. I walked in to ask if they had an idea on when we would be seen and they told me it would be 30 minutes to 1.5 hours because they had an emergency walk in (no explanation on what happened during the 30 minutes we were waiting). I asked them to cancel the appointment so I could go to another urgent care. It felt like they didnt want to take our appointment because it was for a child, which I wish they would have just told me before making us wait 30 minutes for no reason.
Very helpful people and understanding. Answered all my questions. Attended my son very quick and treated him fast.
Great staff. Front Desk is always very nice and polite. Intake nurses are very nice and polite. Provider Lindsey takes the time to explain everything, very polite and very knowledgeable. Virtually no wait time. Highly recommend this Urgent Care.
Staff friendly, place clean. PA was thorough, addressed all my questions & had a nice manner. When I came in there was 1 other patient ahead of me & no one behind me.
I had an excellent experience at NextCare. Front office staff to the medical staff all were personable and professional. They were also competent and caring. I highly recommend this place anytime you need medical help and you cant be seen by your primary care or you want to skip the ER madness. It was faster and more efficient. And I felt much better cared for.
Fast and easy appointment scheduling online PA was very friendly knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
I went to a banner urgent care before this & they saw me for 5 min and told me that i probably had allergies or a cold & to go home and drink water. I went here the next day feeling pretty bad & they ran the tests i needed and i ended up having the flu! glad i went here very helpful
This location is highly unprofessional. I was charged $100 to have 2 cultures sent in. To be clear the doctor I saw last Tuesday told me to swab for strep and then a second swab for everything else. I told her I knew for a fact I did not have strep but she still wanted to check anyway. Fine. A week later (today) I get a call back for my results. Turns out they only sent in 1 culture and that was for strep. Of course it came back negative because I knew I did not have strep! When I asked the lady I spoke with why the second culture wasn’t sent in, she wasn’t able to provide any information to me. So I pretty much paid $100 for a test I did not want. Idiots.
I really like this office I have been to this NextCare and the Desert Ridge office. I prefer this office for sure. The staff is much more friendly. I had a very short wait even as a walk-in. The front office staff gave me a very accurate wait time. Everyone was friendly. I get this yearly sinus infection. The doctor was friendly and thorough. I had a very short wait in the office. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here for urgent care needs.
Sports physical was cheap, friendly and fast with appointment. But sink in exam room was so dirty! Never saw anyone use it, which also bothered me. Wash hands in front of patient!
I just left the urgent care and I had the best staff ever helping me. Through anything and everything that came up. They’re patient and sweet as can be.
Really long wait after registration online. But nurse practitioner was caring and thorough
This Urgent Care was awesome! I made the appointment online, super easy. Did all of my paperwork online, super easy. 2 hours prior to the appointment they texted to let me know the available testing options in case in wanted rapid only.. when I got there it was a super simple check in, wait in the car until called, head to the room assigned. The wait was slightly longer than one might have expected, however, they were all so apologetic and accommodating it didn’t feel like a long wait at all. The provider, Tiffany, was really great, quick and professional.Great experience overall.
Kimberly was THE nicest and most caring Dr Ive ever had at NextCare. Its so hard to find something who genuinely listens and wants to help these days. She is an extremely valuable asset to this company. I would drive completely out of my way just to see a Dr like this. The girl working the front desk was super sweet and helpful!
Although the wait time was a bit long, the service and medical knowledge was actually quite good. Most places take a while AND are rude about it or don’t treat you quite well. I felt very pleased and relieved with Lindsey’s help.
Liked the style and communication skills of those working.I have no qualms about going back :)
Nice clean place, staff was super friendly. Its best to make an appointment so you avoid the wait.
I was very impressed how I made a last minute appointment and was seen by the doctor very quickly!! The staff was very friendly and attentive! Thank you!! Great and easy experience :)
I went to the next Care on 32nd and Greenway. Everyone there was very professional and helpful and friendly. As good as it gets!
People were nice, but a $90 co pay to wait in a room for 40 minutes (after my appointment) just to have a two minute conversation with a doctor is wild.
The visit itself was pretty good. The only thing is they made me wait outside in the 100 degree heat. My AC isn’t all that great so it was very hot which made my body temp increase. I’ve never had someone make me wait outside before and as a result felt much worse then when I arrived. I glanced at the paperwork a little more closely and results said positive, I was told the results were negative at the facility. So which one is it.
Place is extremely cleaned and the staff and providers are spot on their job. The front receptionist was very quick to give me the instructions and was very kind. They were very fast given that I was doing a walk-in and had no appointment. They also went out of their way to try and save me some money. The MA was also really good at making me feel comfortable after me feeling like a truck ran over me, and the doctor (wish I got her name) but she was very great and precise with her instructions.I would definitely go again if anything else comes up.
The staff and Dr where very helpful and nice.i was seen in very timely manner.
Fantastic staff! Great bed side manner by NP! I would highly recommend this location. Just great staff!
Office staff polite and efficient. Lindsey McMinn,PA-C was very nice and gave a through exam. Gave sensible treatment. Discharge instructions clear with explanation of meds given.
I felt extremely uncomfortable and attacked by the PA. I came in looking for some type of answer or path to finding the answering as to what has been going on with me the past week. The provider even as a woman chalked it up to my period. I am an adult I understand my body. She told me to take ibuprofen and essentially get out. She then proceeded to yell and mock me with the nurse as I was leaving. The girl at the front desk even heard and apologized as I cried because I was humiliated.
I have been to a few urgent cares in the area that I wasnt too big a fan of and today was my first time coming to NextCare. I was very pleased and satisfied with my visit! The staff was wonderful! I did not wait long to be seen and they have an online portal to sign in and out etc. which makes the whole process quick and easier. The waiting area and rooms were all clean and organized. The nurse and physician were both attentive and on it! So friendly and they made you feel comfortable! I appreciated everything so much! Will be back in future.
The only downside was there was one person in front of us and the appointment took 1.5 hours to get through. I understand if someone comes in more urgent then my injury they go to the first spot. The medical staff was very thorough.
Brought my son in to get his thumb looked at. Everyone there was very welcoming and polite. The nurse had a great sense of humor. The doctor was very nice. The facility was clean, they had movies going which kept my little one entertained. We didn’t have to wait long. Even with X-rays we were in and out within an hour
I called to get a same day appt for my daughter’s high school sports physical. Everyone was professional. The nurse who helped us was funny and kind as was the Dr. They were friendly and professional. It was quick and great price!
There was a substantial wait time, but everyone was extremely kind and very professional. I was able to be evaluated and medication prescribed in about an hour and a half.
$150 for my blood pressure to be checked and told I should take a hot bath , think about getting an X-ray at the emergency room on a Friday night.
My experience at NextCare Urgent Care on Greenway and Tatum was the extraordinary from start to finish. Right from making the appointment on the website to being seen quickly with minimal wait time and the absolute best care by check-in and tech staff and nurse practitioner. All were so friendly and provided outstanding support and patient care. Competence, professionalism and honest-to-goodness kindness were the hallmark of my experience. I was truly healed and left so grateful to the medical staff at NextCare.
This place is great. They make you feel very welcomed and at ease! All assistants and nurses are fantastic! Tiffany was the main nurse who helped me when I went in, and she explained so much in detail of certain questions and complications I was having without showing any sign of getting annoyed or angry. She was very helpful and encouraged me to ask questions, which I took advantage of! All smiles and only good vibes from this urgent care.Definitely recommend!
I was feeling the effects of a bad cold and nagging cough so I made a same day reservation on line. I completed my patient documentation online and my entire experience at check in and registration, preliminary examination and review and medical assessment was thorough and efficient. The required prescriptions were sent to my preferred pharmacy. In summary top marks!!!
Staff was nice and fast Dr was ready and fixed my problem.
Always efficient service. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Update: All of the staff there is so wonderful and caring. Great service again second time around.I was there when there were 5 people sick with the flu/pneumonia and they got me out of there and away from anything contagious in about only 40 minutes. The PA was wonderful, as was my MA that took care of me. The front desk reception was very helpful in letting us know over the phone prior to coming here if they would treat me for my symptoms. Overall my experience was the best care received over other urgent care facilities I have been to.
They where very nice thanks for making my visit go so smooth
Super friendly & fast. Came here after a bad experience at the new urgent care on 7th St & Bell. We were in & out within 45 minutes and paid way less.
Nice urgent care to go to. The provider was nice and professional
I have come here several times over the past three and a half years for minor things. Every single time, the staff has been friendly and accommodating. The facility is clean and there is a bathroom in the waiting area which makes it nice. My wait time has always been reasonable and they take and bill my insurance! They do take appointments which cuts down on the average wait for an urgent care. Do be understanding though if a higher priority patient comes through. They should and will take precedence. The NP and Physicians have all been informative and taken the time to explain things. Overall, I would recommend this place when your sick but not sick enough for the ED.
Tsa WddrOnly complaint is that he was prescribed something and we went to pharmacy to pick up the medicine the following day they never ended up sending it In so we have to wait another day to get this medicine in him I will have to wait until tomorrow ti callThem but hopefully they will send it over
I made an appt and im home less than an hour after my appointment! The were kind and didnt make me sit in the waiting room i sat in my car and filled out paperwork on my phone and received a phone call from the nurse with follow-up questions and then i went straight back to the exam room. In short; they were very efficient and i appreciate the minimal amount of contact with others.
I would not recommend this clinic. I went in for diarrhea, headache, and stomach issues. I wanted to take a pregnancy test, which customer service made me aware i could take at the clinic, but when i got there, i was refused the service. So I only got checked for my stomach issues - I wouldnt be coming back.
Was having pain in right side, was taken care of quickly and the NP listened to what I had to say, thank you.
Great experience taking my 83 year old Mom in. Karla was especially good with her and was very kind. I think the whole staff was caring and professional.
Long wait but the PA who saw me was great. She did a good exam and didnt leave me feeling like she was trying to get away from me.
Regret coming here and will not be coming back. Writing this review from the exam room Ive been sitting in for over and hour with no one coming in. I walked in with 1 person ahead of me check in as 2 more groups follow. For whatever reason one of the patient who entered after me gets called back so I ask the front counter if there is some sort of hold up for me and Im assured Im next sure enough 8 minutes later I get called they do triage and leave me in this room for upwards of an hour as Im sitting here I can hear all the other ppl that came in behind me being helped in different rooms. Now Im wondering if I got forgotten about or if this is intentional because I asked why I wasnt called before someone who came in after me. Feels like its intentional.
Friendly staff. Very efficient. The only reason for my 1-star review is because I went here specifically to get the covid rapid test. I expressed that my sister and her husband are both doctors and cannot return to work until I’m cleared. Either this was not communicated or it was completely ignored because after taking the test, they let me know it would be 3-5 business days plus the holidays because the labs are closed for thanksgiving. So, I called the main office, and they said it is the doctor’š discretion as to who needs the rapid test. When I called the clinic again, they just said that it was sent to the lab. I explained the situation m, and they said you’re only allowed one unless you pay for it yourself. So, they gave me the test different from my request, and I am responsible to pay to get the correct test.To be clear, I stated which test I needed when I booked the appointment as well as why. I reiterated this when I filled out the forms at the clinic.
Went to the desk. Both attendants were very rude. Told him I was bleeding out of existing stitches. They told me I needed $150 I gave him $200 cash and sat there for half an hour. No one else was in the waiting room.Came back to the desk and told him I couldn’t wait any longer the blood was too much. The manager walked out in the parking lot and demanded $50 for change. I would never go there if I was you
We called ahead and made an appointment .we didnt wait very long at all. Everyone from the receptionist to the person who called our name and walked us to the Doctor was so nice and helpful! The cost was reasonable too. This was our first time but wont be our last.
Made an appointment early in the day for the afternoon. When we got there, they said there was no provider on site and that their systems were experiencing technical difficulties. We drove all the way up there for nothing and ended up with a 2 hour wait time as a walk-in at the closest alternative nearby.
Best urgent care I have ever been to!! You can tell the people working here have a great office environment and are extremely efficient!! It shows in the care for their patients. Thank you for making my experience so great and making me smile!
I’d give less than 1 star. Went to this location Greenway & 32nd st) for x-ray with an appointment, waited approx 1 hour only to be told x-ray tech has gone home! Why did they have me wait an hour? My registration clearly says for wrist/hand XRay when I checked in!??!! Total waste of my time! Went to Abrazio ER & they took me in right away.
I had an extremely positive experience here. I visited this urgent care after having a very long wait at an emergency room that did not take me back even though I had swelled airways from an allergic reaction. The staff here was friendly, caring, and beyond helpful. I was given a prescription for an Epipen and the lead provider there answered all of my questions— and she was super cool! I was less anxious when I left because I felt informed and prepared for any other emergency. I will definitely come back to this location, although I’m hoping I won’t have another medical emergency lol Btw they did take my insurance Ambetter
Scheduled a visit on-line, filled out all the papers beforehand, arrived early to make sure we dont miss our turn and will not make anyone wait. Then 2 hours of waiting in the car and still couldnt get in. Why show available times on your website if the clinic is crowded? The availability was the only reason we decided to go that clinic but apparently it was just a trick to attract more patients. So, do you want to sit in your car doing nothing while being sick? Do you want to be responsible and thoughtful but your clinic to be irresponsible and not caring? Then you found your provider!
I’m not sure the name of my doctor but she had short hair. I have had her the last few times I have been in for myself or kids and she is so nice! She’s really kind and listens to my concerns and thoughts. She also is really helpful and explains things thouroughly! Everyone was really nice there! My favorite location for sure
This place was super efficient!! The practitioner that I saw was great, he was very knowledgeable about my current meds and thorough.. once you get checked in they’re quick, like 25 minutes total from the time they called me back..after my exam the practitioner advised me that he would send 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy.. I chose the closest CVS - 42nd st & Bell.. while I was checking out & paying my co-pay, I got a text from CVS saying my 2 prescriptions were ready!!Dang, That’s what I call efficient!!Thank you Nextcare & the team on duty that day, Execellent job!! Keep up the good Work!!
This nextcare is excellent. No wait time and the care givers had great personalities and actually cared about us. Richard , the tec was awesome and the nurse practitioner, I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, was so caring and lovely. I felt heard and cared for. I appreciate them and this experience. Definitely will travel further from my home to go to this specific location because of the card givers . Thank you again for taking care of my son
This has been the best experience I’ve had with an urgent care, not that . All the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They honored my appointment and were very thorough in my diagnosis.
Really professional, and courteous. They are open till 8 pm on Sundays which is awesome. Apparently they are NextCare Urgent Care just like the one at Desert Ridge. So this one is just as clean and nice as that one, and their hours are better. And a little secret—the front desk girl told me that they are always very quiet, whereas she told me, the Desert Ridge location can easily have six people waiting. There was only one patient there when I got there and I didn’t have to wait long to be seen. I’ll go to this one from now on.
Staff was very pleasant.Did not wait along time . Had 3 people in front of me. Got me in the room in a timely manner think I waited like 15 minutes. And attended to me right then. Not bad at all as I was a walk in.I would say I had a great visit.Good job Staff.
Desk and medical staff is kind, professional, listens to your needs, and makes sure you feel comfy and at ease. I had a good experience previously getting a PCR test, so I returned here when I had concerns about a possible health issue. Highly recommend if you need to be seen by a professional same-day and/or if you don’t have a PCP.
Incredible staff, friendly interactions and extremely knowledgeable. They saved our honeymoon and we are very grateful, got us in right away.
We were able to get an appointment 15 minutes out. The process was easy and allowed us to keep our kid’s in the car until they were ready for us. It was very quick and very easy and we appreciated the COVID precautions. Friendly staff.
The waiting room and exam rooms looked clean, it was not crowded, all the staff were very nice and helpful. I was under the impression I could be x-rayed there. She said yes we do have the ability to take x-rays on site but for neck and back you would have to go elsewhere. I also thought there would be at least one doctor on site but they did not have a doctor they had a family nurse practitioner who seemed very knowledgeable and did seem to do a very good job. My wait time to see the FNP was about 15 -20 minutes. All things considered I would go there again.I would give a letter grade of:Cleanliness = AStaff = AFamily Nurse Practitioner = A
My 4yr old son split his chin open and of course that’s never fun. The staff was so friendly and patient with him. They communicated clearly what was going on and what would be happening next. They always gave me options when appropriate and did great advising as needed. They operated efficiently and the facility was very clean. I will definitely use this Urgent Care for any future needs.
They are always quick and efficient. I have 3 kids and between them and myself (I work with kids) this has been out home away from home many times. The wait time is ever as long as they warm you. The only thing is the pharmacist typically gets the prescription no sooner than an hour which is rough when you’re waiting on getting your kids better.
We checked in beforehand, so we barely had to wait. Everyone was super nice. Dr Pauline Kupper was great, and so patient with my son. I did not feel rushed, and she was so kind. I would absolutely go back for future injuries or illnesses!
No matter the location, NextCare provides excellent service. The staff are so friendly and kind. It really makes a difference!
I took my 8 month old here after she had been sick and having fevers and her pediatrician didn’t have any available appointments. She kept scratching her ear so I really thought she had an ear infection. The doctor that saw said “is this your first baby” grinning like I didn’t know what I was talking about. He told me it was a virus and it should pass. NO EAR INFECTION. I was still having trouble with her and she wasn’t sleeping well. I took her to her pediatrician finally and it turns out she had a DOUBLE EAR INFECTION. Not just one ear. Thanks to this doctor my baby suffered for another week and possible got the second ear infection thanks to his amazing treatment.
Horrible service I was put on hold for a long time and the they hang the phone up on me
This was a great location. They were able to get our 1 year old in very quickly! The staff was so nice!
Awful! I came in to get a Covid test without an appointment. There was no one in the waiting room and no cars in the parking lot, yet the receptionist told me they are not taking any more patients for tests because they had met their quota for the day. She said she was not allowed to check in any more patients. The clinic was going to be open for 2 more hours, and there were no patients waiting. Unreal!! I dont know who has written all the glowing reviews, probably their employees. This place clearly does not care about reducing the spread of the disease.
Ive been there twice now and they are so nice and the Dr. Jonathan was very nice and understanding my pain.I will definitely return if I have need to.5 stars 🌟
The staff was great. The online experience was well done as far as scheduling and seeing the online wait. They had a lot of walk ins that were ahead of our scheduled appointment, so we did have a long wait time to be seen for a covid test.
I was very please with my visit to the office.. Every single person, the receptionist, the assistant, the student, and the PA on staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and nice. I definitely felt taken care of and trusted the judgment of the PA on staff.I made my appointment online before showing up.. I was in and out in less than I expected from an urgent care. Thanks a bunch for all the kindness and direction with this horrible cold I have!!
On a Saturday night late my 4 year old fell and broke her arm at a kids gym. Next care wasnt taking anymore appointments but after I explained what happened, they took us in right away. The staff at this location was so compassionate, patient and caring to my daughter. They knew she was in a lot of pain and scared. They went out of their way to make her feel better. We were in and out with exam, X-rays and cast in an hour. Definitely the best urgent care I have ever been too. They are friendly from receptionist all the way to the doctor. Couldnt of have a better experience under the circumstance.
They have a great set up. If you make an online appointment you will avoid a long wait in the waiting room. The entire staff is pleasant and helpful. I got checked in, seen by NP Tiffany, X-rayed, seen again and given a prescription and instructions inside of 45 minutes. I felt that my foot pain was addressed and that I was given good advice about what to do next.
Had a 1:30 apt, after waiting 20 minutes I heard them tell someone the wait was over an hour, I asked where I was in the queue and she told me the same as the person that just walked in which would have been over an hour. She mentioned the appointments don’t really mean anything FYI and they don’t tell you this when you check in. No doctors on staff either.
I went in to get blood drawn and i heard the tech say in the hall to someone he had tried the other day but couldnt get it on someone. He then tried on me but couldnt get it, said its because he only does it once a month hes not used to it. He had the nurse practitioner come in to try. She seemed nervous and said she doesnt usually do it either but would try. Right before she was going to poke me, the tech said oh youre gonna go in backwards huh?. She was confused, and he pointed out she was about to put the wrong needle in me, the side that goes in the tube he said. I told them i didnt feel comfortable there and wanted to leave. They pretty much agreed it would be better for me to go elsewhere. Very traumatized by this experience! I go in trusting these people to take care of me and they had no idea what they were doing!
I felt very taken care of...I would return here or even recommend to my family and friends. Thanks all
Great Bedside manner! Robert and Tiffany were super profesional and took care of my daughter during her visit. She was exposed to Covid through Daycare and needed to test her quickly, they accepted her as a walk in and quickly tested her. Will most definitely reccomend this place and will come back for any future needs.
I thought the people there were very kind and helpful. The front desk workers were very friendly and respectful when I asked if they could refer to me by my middle name. Carrie the technician and the doctor that examined me was great as well. Excellent facility with great service that I would recommend to everyone.
I took my son in today, the office was very clean, they were playing Harry Potter on the television in the waiting area. Today we met Stacye, Karrie, and Tiffany Barnett. They were really nice and easy to talk to. We were in and out really fast, and my son was very well taken care of.
While waiting the front desk receptionist was talking LOUDLY about how she has a sore throat and chest pain WHILE WORKING AT AN URGENT CARE. She said “don’t worry I’m wearing gloves” when asked about it. This is absolutely unacceptable. When I confronted her and asked for her name she said she wasn’t able to give me that information. She proceeded to put me on speaker phone with some male who told me if I keep asking for her name they’d ask me to leave. Completely unprofessional and awful behavior from this urgent care. Disgusting that this place is “providing health care” while having a receptionist exposing everyone around her. This place is absolutely awful. Had an appointment for 11:20am and there was NO ONE in the waiting room, not a single person. It’s took them a full 60 minutes to call me back.
The Staff were went above and beyond to give me the proper care!! The manager happened to stop in and overheard that I would have to drive 12 miles to their other location to get an xray. She immediately said not to worry that she would do it right there for me.It was her day off!! Much gratitude to all at NextCare Urgent Care! You Rock!
I went for a doctor visit on 7/20/19 the Receptionist Michelle is very courteous and pleasant. The Reception area and rooms are very very clean and... even one of rooms is children friendly with Dr. Seuss characters on the wall.My whole visit was quick and thorough and I would highly recommend this Urgent Care!Thank you and God Bless,Gerrie
I always have a great experience at this Nex Care. That staff are friendly and the providers are always thorough and caring. The wait can sometimes be long, but I will wait. I’ve been to other urgent care centers in the valley with horror stories for each. This is the only place I will go.
Front desk lady was super professional along with clear and concise, straight to the point which is rare these days, it was appreciated. All other members we encountered were great and helpful.
Everyone was really nice and they were able to get me in right away. The PA was very thorough and helped me with my injury.
I had a walk in experience. Due to no fault of anyone working, they were short-staffed. I’m a patient person. I was seen within the timeframe they gave me. The visit was quick, however, the assistant didn’t listen to my preferred pharmacy, even after I told her 4 times. She didn’t look beyond one of the streets on her google map on the computer. This resulted in my scrip being called to the wrong pharmacy. The PA came over to help her and found my pharmacy, showing her on the map how far away the incorrect one was, and that the one I told her was only a mile away. When I arrived at my pharmacy, the scrip had been called into two different places, resulting in insurance denying coverage, the Pharmacist calling to have it released so she she could fill it, and a 40 minute wait. UGH! Please LISTEN WITH INTENTION of hearing, then please VERIFY in order to avoid this hassle.
Would have given them a 5 except for the long wait time even though I had an appointment. Someone waiting had an appointment after mine but came early in case they could take her sooner. I was not happy that they took her before me. That being said, they were great and even called me the next day to see how I was doing.
Typically give them 5 stars when I visit..... however today was different. Made an appointment, still waited 1.5hrs in the back of the building where they said to park, but no parking available, not a through parking lot (which is difficult in a large vehicle) and it all said reserved. Walked around with my 2yr old to keep her busy, but there was so much trash around the building!!! Not great communication from the staff either. I was late picking my son up from school because of the wait.
Teli med was awful the back of the house was very sweet
I went in around 650p and was out before 730p, granted there were only 2 patients ahead of me but it was quick and easy. Staff was awesome, the NP was very friendly. They had a movie playing which is nice if youre waiting. Lobby was clean.
The staff was super nice and helpful. Everyone there was really pleasant! However, I was the only person in line for a Covid test and it still took about 40 minutes just because of the amount of phone calls they were getting and how much paperwork I had to do. Just be prepared to wait a little bit. 👍🏼
I live 12 miles from this Next Care, and still every time myself or a family member needs to see a provider quickly. This is the only place we go. The checking in prior has always been great and prompt. And everyone from the front desk to the medical assistant are always great, kind and efficient. Every PA or NP I’ve seen here has been accurate with diagnosis and ensuring my care is a priority.Update: I went he to get a flu shot, just for the medical assistant, Chris. He was so kind to my son, fast and will come back next year!
Always great experience going here. Been here myself and with my kid. From flu to broken bones. Always great, professional, nice, caring people working. I have even gotten calls back making sure I was doing ok, or kid broken bone was ok. Had to change a prescription one time and they did that very fast for me. I Love this place, I dont like the ER. This is the place to go. My young kid seems to have to be tested for covid alot, for school and sports, they are very kind and professional, and fast back with the report. Thank you nextcare.
I was able to walk right in with my sick 6-year old and get an appointment. The staff was extremely kind and the PA was wonderful in her treatment. If you need a doctor quick I’d absolutely recommend this place.
I recently moved to the east side and have been here twice now. I absolutely love the staff! Today Karrie assisted me, I met the manager, Chyette (very nice guy), and had Pauline as my DR! Each served their pupils with happy cheerful attitudes. I was tested for the flu & Covid-19 rapid 15 min wait (both negative, but leaned the rapid is only 50-60% accurate!), Pauline listened to me as I know my body and respected me for that. I definitely have a sinus infection going on so I left with a z pac and orders to hydrate and rest :). I did make an appointment for 11:40am (I have the app!) and was called into the building from my car at noon- a little wait but worth it. Great place! X-ray machine on site is nice. Karrie is a great tech! I’ll highly suggest this urgent care- thank you.
Why would you schedule an appt for 1:45 if you knew you had an hour and a half wait? The whole reason I called was so that I could show up near the time when they were ready. If there was an hour and a half wait you could have scheduled for 2:15 instead. Now I drive down there just to be told appt times dont matter and to wait in my car, I cant even wait in the lobby. If youre gonna call my cell phone to have me come in you could have given me that info to start with
Staff was very friendly and professional; fairly quick service. Med person (Ashley) very professional and knowledgeable. Received shot, and Rxs called in promptly. Diagnosis of bilateral pneumonia. Hope I dont have to return, but definitely would if needed.
This urgent care facility is wrong in so many ways. The wicked blond haired lady was very rude and from reading the other posts on here Im not the only one that has been treated badly by her. I called for a appointment. (which is not an actual appointment I found out) I arrived at the time I was told the appointment would be on the phone. I was appalled at the blond females attitude. I work in a hospital with patients. I would never treat a patient the way she did. We are nurses CAREGIVERS to people. Crazy woman you need a new job working with non living things. you have no concern to help others . Wont be back.
Excellent service. Doug the PA was very nice and personable. Talked to me like a person and did not talk down. Provided a great plan for my back pain and good advice. MAs were also very nice. Front desk lady was so-so. She welcomed me just nothing after that. But it was first thing in the morning, so I didnt take it personally. Would definitely come here again.
Everybody there was very pleasant and helpful, had an appointment at 1 o’clock, and they had us back there in a very timely manner. The PA was great.
If I could give negative stars thats what this place would receive. This was the absolute worst experience. This location has really gone down hill. I made an appointment for my child on their website. When I arrived I was told it would be a 2-3 hour wait. When I told them I had made an appointment I was told that it was just a reservation time even though their website and email confirmations say APPOINTMENT. I was told they had a lot of walk ins this morning and I would have to wait. Why would the walk in people not have to wait?! Why are the ones who made an appointment the ones who are being punished. Im not going to have my sick child wait 2-3 hours in a waiting room full of sick people when I had a clearly scheduled time. I understand being a little backed up but you do not make those who schedule an appointment wait for the walk ins. I am absolutely furious with this lack of patient care. Its truly disgusting.
Disappointing! My husband and I went into urgent care here, because our primary care didnt have any appointments and we were miserable. They staff is friendly, and they got us in quickly, but the NP there didnt even do an exam. They did a strep test and tested for flu. Flu came back positive, gave us some prescriptions and sent us home. I am improving, but my husband is not. His lymph-nodes are super swollen, and were when we went in, but the NP wouldnt know because she didnt do an exam on either one of us. He is now in a huge amount of pain, and when we called back to see if they could call in something to help their answer was to come back in for another visit, which means another $40. No thank you. you didnt even do the exam in the first place, and you want us to pay for another one. Will be finding somewhere else to go from now on.
During this busy and unpredictable time in our lives due to Covid-19, the staff here still maintained a pleasant and friendly environment. Even though there was a wait, the interactions with staff were wonderful. I have never been disappointed when seeking medical attention here!
Good experience. Had a little bit of a wait but not long. In and out in hour and 25 mins. Everyone very friendly too.
The nurses and doctor were very detailed and patient oriented. They were very thorough and concise in their explanations. Every precaution was taken and felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them for their care and expertise.
This place is pretty much what everyone on here has said. Giving them one star isnt even what I want. Id rather give them no stars. I went in today 11/7/15 because I get bronchitis every year at this time. And have been trying to battle it for over a week. I am supposed to see my doctor Wednesday but felt so miserable, I thought Id get a zpack and get the ball rolling. I checked in and got into triage pretty quickly. I told the nurse all my symptoms and what it was feeling like. I said since my system is weak, I didnt want it to end up becoming pneumonia (which has happened in the past). I get to my room and not even a minute goes by before the doctor walks in wearing a face mask. And without listening to my lungs or checking me out, he tells me Im too big to lay on his table for an x-ray. And thinks its pneumonia. So he tells me that I need to just go to the emergency room instead. Ive had plenty of chest x-rays in my life, Ive never had to lay down for one. Especially to check for possible pneumonia. And to not even listen to my lungs? That place is a joke. Usually I heed peoples warnings on these things. But it was the closest place to me and I felt like crap. Next time I get sick, Ill drive well out of my way next time for service that i know Ill get somewhere else. My warning to anyone else is to do the same thing. Save yourself the headache and go to a real doctor.
I was able to handle almost everything online before my appointment and was treated right away without having to do a mountain of paperwork. From the front desk to the medical personel, the staff was efficient, knowlegeable, invested, professional and friendly, and had me interviewed, examined, x-rayed and checked out in under an hour. Thank you and keep up the great work!
Good for a fairly routine issue. Staff was courteous and professional. I had a rash that I thought might be shingles and they took one look and said yes, you have shingles. Gave me a prescription, answered my questions and I was finished very quickly.
While I have seen many negative reviews, I have had great experiences here. I use them if/when I cant get to see my primary care Dr. With 3 kids, you can imagine. Today was the perfect example, extremely busy, I tried to Wahoo, apparently that was not a possibility as they were already booked. So I walked in. Receptionist very politely informed me there would be a long wait appx 3hrs. I patiently waited, was taken back very close to the time stated of 3hrs. Received my treatment which I was satisfied with and was on my way. Today was one of several times Ive been here for my family.I think the bad reviews simply show this world has become very demanding with everything. Its an urgent care, dont expect to be in and out with quality care in a few minutes.
The staff onsite and Dr. Drake provided us with our best urgent care experience to date. We checked in online, received text message updates telling us when to show up, and had a very short wait once we arrived as a result. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My daughter was suffering with the flu and still had a smile thanks to the staff.
Waited 40 minutes to be called in even tho there was no one ahead of me during a scheduled visit then spent another 40 minutes after being examined for them to give me my results meanwhile the employees were all grouped at the front desk
These were the nicest people!!! Brian was very understanding and kind. I will definitely use this facility the next time I need them. (Hopefully not too soon, LOL)
I am disgusted with the services I have received both times I have gone.Let me explain my first complaint,One day I had gone to this urgent care to check up on a few problems I was having at the time and one of them was an ear issue. At the time I had lost my hearing in my left ear and was unable to hear anything and the doctor *Doug* was my provider unfortunately, I left that Urgent Care not knowing that my ear drum was busted and their was a huge hole in my ear. The proof comes from going to my family doctor that was able to check out my ear and explained all the correct issues that were presumed at that time.(Past visit ^. )(Most recent visit V)Second complaint, after leaving my family doctor again, I went to this Next Care for a chest X-Ray and was immediately told, Oh. No way are we going to give you an X-ray, look at the time. Its 8. Little did we know this doctor was in a hurry to leave work instead of treat a patient with a life threatening serious health matter.*Please be advised before visiting that youre not meant anything to this doctor. Youre just another number, another patient, more money. How depressing. I am entirely upset too experience first hand what it looks like to go in a health care place and deal with car sales men is what it seems like. All that matters is they charge you $80 for a twenty minute visit being told, no. I will not give provide you with any X-ray, for a reason that is even SCARIER. This doctor Doug admitted that his X-ray machine is old and produces a lot of radiation due to the age of it and does not want anyone to be getting X-rays unless it is life threatening. Also, as we were cashing out with the clerk Doug had continued interrupting her asking where his patients were. As he watched her cashing us out for the visit, and told her to hurry up and get them back. This guy is in the wrong industry and disgusts me to see him working in a place that is supposed to be trusted! I am disappointed and will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB.The front desk clerk tonight was absolutely wonderful, she showed what any owner of any company would want, integrity and made sure that even though we were filled with complaints that we knew someone was listening and directed us to where we needed to report our complaints and stood behind the company name by not trashing any co workers names. If I could steal this lady and take her to my company Id do it in a heart beat!
Every time I go and checked out. They are quick and friendly. They make sure they check everything that is wrong with you. Give you the medicine you need and makes sure it goes to your pharmacy. Keep up the good work
Horrible experience. If you are a black woman stay away from this facility. I came here feeling dizzy with bad diarrhea and I made sure I told the front desk lady but she didn’t care. They asked me to stay in the car someone will call me over the phone, waited for 20 min to be called then the lady proceeded to tell me to park in the back of the facility. I went and packed as told but another big rude lady asked not to pack in the back it’s for employees only, I ended up leaving couldn’t take it. If you know you have no heart for humanity why even take nursing as a profession, hope karma catches up with all of them and their families. Learn to treat people with respect no matter their skin color. All this happened in the presence of my four year old, she could see I was struggling. But what goes around comes around 🤞🏾
Nextcare Urgent care personnel were very kind. The nurse practitioner was sharp. She diagnosed my problem quickly. I scheduled ahead and the wait was no longer than at the doctors office.
Very kind and accommodating receptionist; triage girl was very thorough and efficient; PA and assistant were very knowledgeable and extremely compassionate! It was a wonderful experience on a Sunday afternoon when not feeling well. I was in and out in no time, less than 35-40 minutes! A very pleasant experience was had at NEXTCARE/E. Greenway, Phoenix location!!!!
I made an appointment for 8:15, when I arrived the receptionist said that there wasnt a provider so I would need to sit in a room and wait for someone to come on the computer. I asked how long would that wait be and she said she didnt know. There was no notification that there wasnt a provider on site.
If this place was more concerned with their customer service than ordering food and Zelleing one another money I would have have known after being told by the front desk and the provider TWICE they would email my child covid results which are NEGATIVE. Im being forced to go back to the location and get those results in the parking lot or having someone else go get them after waiting 4 hours for even a call back. The assistant manager wants to tell me its a hippa violation to email it to me now since supposedly on my paperwork I didnt ask for an email even though it was repeated to me several times. Hippa violation really? They cant even do their job and now your going to force my son to miss school and force me and my kids to go around a facility with sick people after being told we were negative . I will not be using this urgent care again or its affiliates.
Got in within 2 hours as a walk-in, though they were booked all day for Covid-19 testing and had 8 walk-ins ahead of me. I find this understandable with the current situation. Walk-ins for anything but Covid-19 are treated on a fist come first serve basis. Covid testing is by scheduled appointments only and fill their appointment calendar. So I was fine with the long wait as it is understandable. Many other urgent cares were booked full when I tried to get in. They are bombarded with testing and/or at limited capacity in order to socially distance. The Nextcare faculty was nice, efficient and took care of my needs. Overall, not a bad place for urgent care.I do have one complaint and have to share. There was a man workng in the front office that was behind the reception area and he was not wearing a mask. He came out of his office and interacted with others repeatedly, in close proximity, definitely no where near 6 feet apart, without a mask.Fifteen minutes into my wait and after watching him do this a few times, I pointed to his face and asked wheres your mask? He said its in his office and that hes usually in his office by himself so hes not wearing it. Hmmm... but youre repeatedly coming out of your office and talking and interacting with staff without wearing a mask. Everyone else at this medical facility is following the strict mask-wearing policy posted on the front door, staff and patients included... just not you.He didnt even put his mask on after I brought it to his attention! And... I was in that waiting room for almost 2 hours! Personal beliefs aside, you are in public interacting closely with others, working, no less, at a medical facility testing for Covid-19, AND the mask policy is posted on the front door saying STOP no one enters without wearing a mask.Im hoping you are reprimanded for blowing off my reminder and blatantly not following policy, putting yourself and others in harms way. Please practice what your company and city guidelines require and put on your mask at work and in public!
We were at the 32nd Street and Greenway location today for xrays of an arm injury. Staff was great. Courteous and efficient. We made the appointment online and had minimal wait time while there. Really appreciate their service and speed of getting xray info to our primary care doctor.
The Dr. was great! She was informative, kind, and friendly. The front desk and triage nurse were not friendly or very helpful. I was there with a highly contagious illness and was only thinking ofof them when I felt I should not sit in the waiting area, she clearly did not care about the other patients The nurse did not smile say hello ask how we were or anything. When she asked why I was there, and I told her, she gave me a look that was like I had noo idea what I was talking about. To all the ppl in after me I hope for your sake they disenfected, than sanitized everything in the waiting area, because the only one concerned about it was the Dr.!!! The reason for all g the stars is solely for the Dr. Otherwise it would have been none!
Dr. Lindsay was so kind and thoughtful. She didnt rush me, took her time, and honestly seemed to care that I was sick. Would highly recommend. M
The service I received was satisfactory. The billing has been a nightmare.Nextcare has repeatedly made errors in their billing. I was ready to pay the $35 I owed them at any time, including the day I received services, but was incorrectly told by a Nextcare employee that I did not have a co-pay. I have now been referred to a collection agency for the very first time in my 77 years of life. I have finally b3n able to pay the bill, which I would have done on the day I received service and any day since in which I had a proper bill correctly showing that I owed $35. I tried to call Nextcare twice, spending almost an hour listening to muzak without any voice menu promptings whatsoever, even at the start of the call to let me know that I was even in queue to speak with a human being. I wrote to Nextcare, certified mail, to explain the situation, but they refused to accept delivery of my letter! So....my advice is that if you value your credit rating and you need urgent care, do NOT go to Nextcare Urgent Care.
The clinical staff was awesome, but I was horrified that a front desk staffer wasn’t wearing her mask around her nose and mouth. Until I’m fully vaccinated I will try to avoid going back. The last thing anyone needs is to acquire Covid from a medical provider when seeking health care. Disappointing.
I went on Thursday, because I had severe back pain and hadn’t slept in days. Now, I fully understand being a testing center for Covid as well as a urgent care things may get a little backed up. Meanwhile there were literally two other people in the lobby waiting before me and all patients walked out before I was even called back. Not only that I had to ask how much longer it was going to be after waiting an hour. And the lady said “oh just about five more minutes.” I sat back down, 30 minutes go by and still NOTHING! My question to your staff is, is cracking jokes and laughing really a priority when you have “loads of Covid swabs to do” so they told my mother, and patience in the lobby. Meanwhile I was not happy with the wait time at all and went somewhere else and was in and out in less than two hours. It was really disappointing because I live in deer valley and I drove out of my way because my mom swore up and down you guys would take care of me. Welp, guess I know for next time.
Staff was extremely polite and always took care of me properly... Id prefer to stay out of urgent care but if I had a choice Id definitely choose this one.
My girlfriend and I both went in today, the staff was amazing, the waiting room was clean and smelled good, the man who checked us in was fast,he had great customer service. I wish I remembered his name, it was unique he had a dermo on his face. The nurse who helped us was also extremely helpful and she was also really fast, but genuinelyCared.Ashley McCabe was the PA who diagnosed who prescribed meds for us. She was the best, she took her time and listened to both of our questions and concerns, she went over everything with us about both diagnoses. I highly recommend this location, and if Ashley is there we highly recommend her. Thank you guys
Do not stay here for worker’s compensation injuries! Get an X-ray if needed then transfer to the specialist in the area of your injury. She refused to refer me for an MRI because she said my WC wouldn’t pay for it but they said they would’ve paid for an MRI or specialist right away if the dr ordered it. She also insisted I had to come in to see her every 7-10 days per a WC law, which I later found out is not true. I was put on the wrong brace for my finger injury that prolonged the injury. She initially sent me to physical therapist that doesn’t even specialize in hands do they didn’t know how best to treat me. She said i had to do this because worker’s compensation wouldn’t pay for proper care right away. None of that is true with my WC company. I wish she asked my WC and referred me for proper diagnosis and treatment. She didn’t even have my diagnosis correct. I need to add that I asked for an MRI multiple times! I was finally transferred to a hand specialist after 10 weeks of tons of appointments. He immediately ordered an MRI and found ligament and tendon damage which proves I was not given a proper brace for my hand. Get a second opinion if you have worker’s compensation! She milked my insurance for unnecessary visits.
My daughter was seen back in May for a possible broken toe. They referred her to an outside imaging place for x-rays. The order said stat apparently for the x-ray place that was whenever they got to it. You cant call NextCare and speak with them directly, it goes through a service. I called 4 times before giving up. Its now August and they still havent contacted me with the results!!!!
Hard rock music was playing on the overhead speakers, not the most soothing music to listen to when you are ill. They do no blood tests here if any kind. There is no doctor, only a nurse practitioner. The intake assistant was friendly, the rest were not, which also is not very comforting.I will say that though the waiting room wasnt the cleanest, the treatment area appeared to be immaculate. After a patient left, the intake assistant wiped down and disinfected everything... chairs, chair arms, door knobs, everything. That made me feel better.
They were very friendly, quick and made the process of testing for virus painless, quick and comfortable. Explained facts, asked questions and answered all needed. Thank you very much. Weve heard the testing was horrible, not at all here at nextcare. Highly recommended. Even my 2 boys didnt complain or have any pain having a qtip up their nose where things shouldnt be, even made us laugh in a situation like that. Thanks again!!
If I could give this place a negative five star I would. Not only did I do a televised visit and the PCP on there told me to schedule a in person appointment to check my lungs for me and my 5-year-old. But they scheduled me an appointment and told me to come in today at 7:00 p.m. then I get a phone call around 2:40 p.m. telling me we cannot come in because we tested positive for covid by a home test. I asked them where can I go then for medical treatment, and they refer you to the hospital. What kind of sick joke is this place? Who are they to call themselves medical professionals when their own protocols turn people away who have covid? I will never ever go back to urgent care for NextCare because they are nothing but a bunch of fakes. All theyre in it for is the money, they do not care. Especially my 5-year-old daughter... Thats just wrong.
Terrible experience. They sped thru seeing me. Led me from room to room rapidly, spoke very quickly, almost as if they were irritated or annoyed. They told me walking from the waiting room to the first medical room that I would more then likely need to see an orthopedist, but that they would take my X-Rays. Not sure what they needed my X-rays for then, because the end result was that they were normal.I at least was hoping for advice for my arm, or maybe an explanation for my pain. My range of motion is non-existent, I cannot even drive with it, and my shoulder bone has repeatidly slipped My shoulder is not normal, it has been in excruciating pain for a week, I will be booking an appointment with an actual specialist. Do not go here, I paid $118 for pictures of my arm basically.
Everyone was very friendly and professional. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I have not been to an Urgent Care in 10 years due to bad experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the care I recieved at this facility. I will be back!!
I have a boil on the side of my nose . I registered on line stating this . I get there and the Dr says I dont touch anything on the face ?? Put hot compress on it . Well I have been doing that . So I drove here for nothing well Im going to treat you and says he is going to give me antibiotics well Ive been taking them for a tooth . He didnt ask just ordered them .completely wasted my time and Im sure he charged the insurance . Because when I found out he wasnt going to Lance it I just left . So now the pharmacy keeps says I have a prescription ready . I call this a scam
It was a long wait to see the doctor & get a COVID test (3 hour wait, but we waited in the car). The receptionist told us that it would be a long wait when we signed in as a walk-in patient. All the online appointments were already filled for the day. Still, we got to see the doctor & got the standard COViD test (all rapid COVID tests were gone). My grandson’s school was requiring him to get a COViD test in order to be able to return to school. He had a nasty cold that hung on for two weeks. The staff were very professional & helpful to allay the fears of a little 8 year-old boy!
Went to this urgent Care on Sunday around 7:00pm, with severe throat pain and fever, they took me back very quickly, I asked if they can check my throat for strep, med Assistance was nice, but did not do strep swap correctly, she quickly touched my tongue and said All done instead of rubbing over both tonsils as well as the back wall of my mouth . Then Dr. William Gabbert came in, stating that strep was negative. Did not look at my throat, nose or ears. I felt like he did not want to come closer to me. Asked me few questions, and that was it. Office visit lasted about two minutes. Never going to that place again, or if i go i will make sure i see other Dr.
My mother feels awful and is an essential worker with Covid-19 symptoms. And we had to drive 45 minutes just for them to tell us they are no longer taking walk ins. And this is after I called customer service and waited on the line for 30 minutes to ensure she could be seen. Website says nothing about cut off hours of seeing walk ins. Very disappointed.
Ciclary was very kind and professional as were the rest of the staff
The physicians assistant who addressed my medical issue was gentle and considerate in her care. Im thankful that my issue was resolved quickly and relatively painlessly!
As a long time leader and trainer. Its apperent that most transactions, be it a product or service are more and more becoming commoditized. Therefore, the real differentiator for a business, is the personal level of engagement each employee takes to make the individual transaction unique and tailored. It could be by asking the right questions, acknowledging, being present and engaged. Recapping and offering a solution with the reasoning and benefits, that make the biggest positive impact to consumers. Whew! That was a mouthful! Lol! The reason for the lengthy introduction, was to emphasize the recent best in class service I just experience at this location. Yep... best in class level of service, and from a perceived commoditized industry. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was on point. Courteous and respectful. Although, I had to waite a few minutes past my scheduled time. It quickly became apperent why when I sat down with PA Ashley. She took the time to fully diagnose my symptoms. Asked great questions and remained fully attentive with great eye contact. She advised me why she was doing certain test and explained why medication was or was not needed. Needless to say, I was highly impressed with her bedside manners and willingness to fully understand my symptoms. Its truly a pleasure to take a few moments out of busy schedule and write an appreciation for the entire staff at this location.Kudos to management, staff and especially PA Ashley! Keep up the amazing work, it does make a difference to us as consumers and ultimately to top line revenue.Best regards,LD
These people charge 120-150.00 for std testing??! When theres places that charge between 20-75.00? The only difference is that this place among others is open on Sundays. Plus the person at the desk act like she doesnt want to be there and shes tired of working. Patients are asking questions and she quickly interrupts them with a dismiss. The hell is wrong with people working at places they dont want to be at, these days?
Overall the experience wasn’t too bad. Except I would have liked the doctor to properly look me over instead of checking my ears and mouth and saying that I have a virus. Wrote me a script and sent it over to my pharmacy. When the pharmacists came up to explain the medication he looked confused. He heard me coughing up lungs and said this prescription was for allergies. I let it go and decided to take my meds as soon as I got home. I took them at 4 pm passed out and didn’t wake up until 4 am. And I woke up feeling worse. I had a headache and could barely stand. After I took some ibuprofen and my OTC meds I felt better. Why would you prescribe me allergy medication when I have a virus? Or more like a sinus infection? Definitely a waste of money.
Staff was wonderful. Very caring and courteous. Respectful in taking care of yourwell-being! I just walked in and they took care of me promptly. Extremely pleased with the service off all and would highly recommend!
My boyfriend has been struggling with an injury for two months and has been trying to be strong about it, but today the pain was so bad that he collapsed in Target. It was very scary and we immediately came to urgent care hoping for an X-ray. Karie called him by the wrong name, said a curse word in front of us, and was completely unprofessional the whole time. She kept saying weird things like “my brain thinks...” and “my brain wants to say...” She kept clicking her tongue and sucking her teeth as if this was a casual conversation we were having and she wasn’t at work. She told us that they would not be doing an X-ray today and that he was wasting his time before taking us to the examination room where the PA ironically ordered an X-ray immediately. Karie performed the X-ray while repeatedly criticizing him for not going to his primary care doctor, who doesn’t even do X-rays. I don’t know what her motivation is for criticizing someone just wanting to know what is wrong with them, but it was astonishingly rude. She announced loudly that they would be unable to prescribe anything for the pain, when there was no drug seeking behavior of any kind. It was extremely offensive. Again, ironically, she was wrong, and he was prescribed steroids. Her volume and speech patterns were erratic, which made me wonder if she was intoxicated. I’ve never been to this location before and I will make sure that I never return, and the office can thank Karie for that.
Only good things to say. Thank you for the help
