Dr Crane is a great urogynecologist. Nice, communicative and with excellent bedmanners. I trust her 100%. She performed my surgery 3 years ago and I was very happy with an outcome then, and still I am happy now - everything what has been repaired by Dr Crane work very well. Thank you, Dr Crane :-). The Team of Wake Med Urogynecology office is friendly and professional - I can say only good things about them. Thank you as well.

Dr. Andrea Crane is the best provider I have ever seen and there have been quite a lot in my 61 years. Caring, friendly, professional. She takes her time and I never felt rushed. She explained everthing thoroughly and never made me feel that my questions were silly. Her personality and demeanor puts you immediately at ease. Her staff is excellent too. Highly recommend this office.

Dr. Crane is one of the most compassionate and caring physicians I have ever met. Her chosen speciality is not glamorous and often her patients, myself included, can be scared or embarrassed by the issues that bring them to her office but all staff and Dr. Crane treat everyone with respect, kindness and a willingness to answer the difficult questions. I was surprised but also extremely thankful with her findings and her willingness to answer all my questions and explain all my options. She is thorough and compassionate and I would recommend her to my mother and my daughter if they were in need.

My condition had been troubling me for some time, and my experiences with other Doctors had been unsatisfactory. The staff put me at ease at once, and Dr Crane was very friendly ,answered all my questions. What had been an unpleasant experience with other offices was now a relaxed visit.I am set for surgery soon and I feel very confident that I will soon feel much better. I would recommend this Doctor and staff to all who need this type of help.

I can’t even fully convey how disappointing today was. For five years, I’ve been misdiagnosed and have been unable to make appointments to a specialist between moving with the military and to Covid. I have also been fighting my insurance for the past five years who refused to give me referrals for specialists, and had to wait until December to switch insurance. After moving to North Carolina, I called the doctor and made an appointment for the soonest that they had which was for today. It was a three month long wait and the time was not ideal but I took what they had since they have limited availability. I am a working mom who lives pretty far away and dropped off my child at school as soon as the school opened its doors at 7:20 AM. As I was getting close to the office I knew I would be late and called to see if I could still be seen. I was told not to worry because they have a 15 minute grace period. However, I knew I would be 18 minutes late so that would be three minutes over the grace period and was honest with them. The operator patched me through the office directly, and the person who answered the phone advised they would ask the doctor if they would be willing to still take me. The doctor refused and marked me as a no-show even though I was two minutes away and willing to wait as long as it took even if someone had to go in front of me. After all, I have been trying to get to this point for five years and three months. however, it was to no avail and there’s no appointments until July. Which means I will have to incur additional costs trying to find a doctor out of state to be seen sooner as I can no longer continue and function with the issue I am having.I could not have left any earlier, could not have anticipated the accidents on the road and did not really have a choice on a better appointment time just as the doctor has their other patients to think of. Though they could have done better with their problematic scheduling and back to back appointment setting. My negative review is due to those 3 minutes they were unwilling to work with me with after I jumped through the scheduling hoops, the insurance hoops and defied laws of traffic trying so hard to make it. None of that mattered to them which made me feel unvalued as a person and a patient. My pain and lack of suitable treatment did not matter to them and that’s plain bad customer service. Ultimately, as I drive the 2 hours home untreated and still undiagnosed, I understand the variables that led to today’s outcome, but it doesn’t make the lack of patient advocacy any better.

I would highly recommend Dr. Crane and her stsff for your Urogynecology needs. I ve had other female surgeries and was really dreading this one, but the recovery from the robotic surgery that Dr. Crane did on me was not as painful or debilitating as the other surgeries, I was so amazed. I mainly used motrin and tylenol for pain control post-op. Thank you Dr. Crane for doing such an amazing job!! Now if this new bladder repair holds up, I will be ecstatic!!! 😃
