Woke up just for the telehealth appointment (Im sick right now) and then they never even called me 🤷 I had to call to ask what was going on then they got back to me and said that they got busy and would call back in ten minutes. (Then never called back!)
Pretty disappointed with the time it took PP to tell me the pricing of my appointment. I scheduled a month in advance and was told that they would follow up in 5 days with the pricing based on my income and family size.Phone tag then proceeded for the next month until 24 hrs before my appointment in which they told me the price which was ultimately too high for me so I had to cancel it. Extremely frustrating as I had to notify my work about the appointment as it was so close to cancel the next day. That being said, at least they picked up calls immediately! Even if they were unhelpful
Bad bad service.I had an appointment today 05/09/24 @9:15am I waited for almost 1 hour I never got seen. This is so ridiculous.
If I could give more than five stars, I would.I believe the current low google rating for this facility is severely outdated and does not represent the facility and the practitioners appropriately at all. And the complaints that have been made are primarily revolved around scheduling conflicts at a time when Planned Parenthood was struggling for funding - an issue that was completely out of their hands. Please keep that in mind when you read through other reviews, and consider leaving them a more current and reflective review upon the completion of your own experience. With that, I can honestly say that I have never had a more positive experience with any medical facility in my life. They were timely, pleasant, and went above and beyond from start to finish. The receptionists were kind, communicative, and attentive while the practitioners (Julie and Lauren were who cared for me) were caring, thoughtful, incredibly respectful, and provided me with care that far exceeded my expectations. I was given all kinds of helpful information and resources to take optimal care of myself until the very moment I walked out the door.Thank you, Planned Parenthood.
Before reading other outdated or negative reviews, its important to realize that Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit organization, sometimes with limited funding, so yes, problems are more likely to occur than at a private office. However, do not let this deter you.Planned Parenthood is a godsend that provides care to anyone that needs it regardless of income. In a society that does not value our health, but our wallets, Planned Parenthood fights for us every day.I have had two appointments with this location, both virtual and in-person. Both went extremely well. I had minimal wait times, felt safe during COVID, and received excellent, attentive medical care.
Perhaps scheduling morning appts here arent a good idea. My appt was scheduled for 11a and Ive been waiting for more than 40 minutes now. Ive overheard some other patients waiting way past their scheduled appts as well. It might be because this location is fairly new, the particular staff seems very ill-prepared.After being called in and meeting with one of the staff members to discuss my services, we went through all initial questionnaires and check ups. She left the room and I waited another long period for the doctor to come in. So long that the lights turned off of me...
I came here to get some things done for a visa to go abroad. I was out of the country for a fellowship the year prior to that, so I no longer had health insurance. First of all, I was able to see a primary care doctor in 2 days (while the community health clinics in the area were booked over a month). Thats FIRST of all. I think many people forget that Planned Parenthood offers MANY services. Next, I have received nothing but EXCELLENT, THOROUGH service by the women that worked there -- Leslie and Yezstenia, I remember their names, were super, super helpful, going above and beyond medical care Ive received in PAMF even (my past primary care facility). They did not make me feel rushed; they went above and beyond, did not cut ANY corners, gave me their business cards so that I had access to their direct lines. Excellent. ALSO- the primary care doctor was phenomenal as well. I really wish I could remember her name. Its slipped my mind for now. But same deal as the others, incredibly kind, helpful, thorough. They were also very sensitive to the fact that I dont have health insurance currently (also another reason to love Planned Parenthood). I usually have found my experiences with the medical community to be disappointing, and I was pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the women working here. Highly recommend.
They attend you up to 40 minutes after your scheduled appointment and attempt to make you either reschedule after you show up and wait OR wait an extra hour. Worst service ever. Definitely never going to that location again.
Got here this morning @ 9:30am hoping to be seen. They gave us a 1:10pm appointment. We got here @ 12:55. We are still sitting here waiting to be seen. Its now 2:13pm. I have not seen, not one person go in or out of the door that goes to the back office.
This place is truly amazing. They have helped so many people I know who have struggled financially or have had lapses in insurance. This place gives healthcare to girls and women who often cant afford or otherwise cant access affordable healthcare.
I want to to say there racism here so bad I’m here on a appointment I just seen everybody behind me go in it’s 40mins past my time and still nothingO yeah I’m the only black here
Worst one Ive been to they take over an hour to take care of you. The one in Santa Clara is way better
