First time visiting an American doctors office as a Canadian. Very simple process, just have to upload pics of your ID and some basic information when reserving time for the appointment.Got in right as it opened and no line (which is rare for where I live in Canada, even with appointment). $250 base appointment price + $125 for the treatment I needed. Paid with credit card and out the door after. Doctors and nurses were all very nice and helpful.
Well I got exceptional Care,Dima had been warm, informative, Major Cool, we spoke.of current events even thought my BP was 168/120.Marc Massey The Great took the time , herd me out, although keep in mind Im ocd and cant stop talking !?*#$, was overly concerned with my asthmatic lungs, no air moving, and high blood pressure. He assure me that I need to REST, take Prednisone, and stay home from work, all I know is to survive ,wake up go to work , OCD driven ,and alot of Aspergers. So yes I got Great Help !IM beyond Grateful !!! Thank You , Thank You !!!!!Sutter Health Urgent Care refused me in San Carlos, ca mid week and later in thier SF King Street Clinic. Im between transferring two jobs, new insurance , cant find a Primary in last 2 months ,.and in a pickle.Your staff is exceptional, Im get emotional because I hadnt to many more places to turn to?Dignity Health waz EXCEPTIONAL !!!
The staff was kind and helped me quickly without making me feel rushed even though I came in right before closing. I had to visit again the following morning to provide another test sample since the first test didnt work properly and they were very apologetic and had me in and out super fast on my way to work! Definitely recommend.
Able to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Friendly, efficient. Excellent care from medical staff, especially Nicole APRN and x-ray tech. Only disappointed that I couldnt get a CD of my x-rays for my doctors at home
Staff was empathetic, kind, attentive. They took the time out to help my son and I under a very stressful situation. My 3 year old was crying in pain because of an ear infection. Fluid was drink g from his ear and he was scared. The RN and Doctor Huissain took excellent care of my son. They were able to identify my son’s diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate medication. My son started to feel better the following morning. The follow up my son had today with Emily. Was super wonderful as well. And my son was very comfortable with the kind and generous staff. I would recommend this urgent care for all pediatric patients.
I really liked the people. Im horrible with names. But the receptionist, the nurse, and especially the doctor couldnt have been any nicer! I wish I could make that place my primary. LOVED THEM!!!
Better than my primary care physician. We have used Dignity Urgent care since it opened and have always been incredibly pleased with the care we have received.Today, I thought I just needed a test for COVID and ended up being diagnosed with strep, covid and early stages of an ear infection. One dizzy spell later, they also monitored my blood pressure before releasing me.Complete, over the top care. Truly superior medical support.
I came down with an odd illness after traveling internationally & went to this urgent care because my PCP was on vacation. The staff were very friendly but didn’t seem to have any idea what was going on. The best they could come up with was end stage kidney failure and wanted to draw blood but between two medical assistants, no one could perform a blood draw. Very frustrating.
I came in with a ruptured ear drum, the first I have ever experienced. The doctor I saw was incredible.. I wish I could remember their name. The injury itself was pretty traumatic, both physically and mentally, and I had no idea what to anticipate regarding recovery. The doctor checked all the boxes. They were professional, demonstrated extreme empathy, and reassured me that these types of injuries are common of low concern. I was in and out in good time, but I would have waited an extra hour to see that doctor again. Amazing experience, all things considered.
I was a patient at the Redwood City GoHealth this evening and it was my first time there. It has a nice ambiance about it and the staff is attentive and cordial. I saw a very nice and sympathetic PA by the name of Rebecca and she listened, then made some great suggestions regarding my problem. She wrote some appropriate scripts and they were successfully relayed to Walgreens. I had a good experience here, absolutely!
My two-year-old son woke up from his afternoon nap at 3:30 pm with a fever and complained about his ear. I promptly went online to schedule an appointment on the clinics website and managed to secure one for 4:30 pm. Surprisingly, at 4 pm, they called to inform me that they could see us earlier if we were ready. We arrived at 4:15 pm, and the entire team provided exceptional care for my son. Both the nurse and the doctor were incredibly attentive. They administered medication, and my son is already feeling much better. I highly recommend this clinic, a definite 5-star experience.
Nurses and doctor were friendly, knowledgeable and informative regarding diagnosis. Very kind and efficient. I appreciate that appointments can be made.
The wait time for pediatric care is really quick! We were seen 5 minutes within check in. This was our second time at this clinic. We also were taken care of by Emily. Emily was very nice, answered all our questions, and ensured our daughter was taken care of. It is our favorite urgent care clinic and makes me feel reassured that we can get great service right away. There was also a lot of appointment times for next day.
All of the staff were friendly and respectful. I was seen promptly, and all of my concerns regarding the reason for my visit were met with empathy, validation, and explanations. The overall price of the visit was also reasonable.
Nice doctor and staff assisting. It was easy to make the urgent appointments. Waited 25 mins to see the doctor that was thr only delay.
I saw Marc, is he a doctor? He told me what to do to relieve back pain but I was expecting him to find which muscle it was. He slightly moved his fingers up and down my spine. I told him to press around until he found the sore spot but he did not do that. He prescribed medication at a local Walgreens but when I went there they could not find any prescription and I would have to go back to the doctor and request it again. Clients are most all Hispanic I did not feel uncomfortable until Marc said I can go, two times. Marc has rainbow painted fingernails and rainbow soxs.
After being turned away from 2 other clinics I was able to get in here and they were great. They accepted me as a walk in and definitely feeling better after.Thank you
Honestly, this place is a fraud. PA Marc Massey’s healthcare style is to prescribe anything and everything under the earth, presumably because PAs do not go to medical school and he is unsure what is going to actually address the issue. He didn’t know which one was the issue, so prescribed me for two different issues but recommended me for one in particular. Whatever he prescribed me for the second (and according to the lab results, correct) did not even work. Clearly he has no idea what he is doing. PA Steve Wemper is slightly better but I also caught a disease while sitting in the patient wait area because they let someone in who was coughing without a mask on. This person coughed all over the reception area - absolutely disgusting and no sense of protocol or concern for other people’s safety. Administrative wise, super capable and love that they have walk in and fast appointments. The type of service they provide is clearly hit or miss.
I have private insurance and they wouldn’t take it. I SHOWED them they are in network and they still couldn’t find me. I had to pay out of pocket. Never seen an urgent care not take private insurance, and wait 2 hours past my appointment.
The doctor really went above and beyond. He showed kindness and compassion. He brought in another provider for a second opinion, gave contact information for a specialist in case symptoms worsen, wrote down his diagnosis as a reference for us, and provided his email in case of any updates or questions.
My name is Enrique, and recently use Dignity Urgent care. I usually use Revenswood clinic but could not get an appointment. The system due to Covid , the flu and colds was saturated.I was able to walk in and be seen within 15 min . The facility is clean, and receptionist was polite and understanding. I was even lent a wheel chair to bring my daughter in. There is parking right next door .The service was unbelievable!!!!! Very efficient and such a caring staff. All our needs were met and I was completely amazed. The best part is that they take medical and San Mateo / Santa Clara Healty Family insurance. Fully staffed clinic with caring doctors and nurse. We had our prescriptions sent to Walgreens and we were in and out in 45 min. I highly recommend this place!!!! My daughter had a real bad ear infection and they gave her a shot to manage the pain immediately. Don’t think twice…… get up and go. There is nothing worse than having a sick family member, and for there not to be an appointment to see a doctor.I would give them a 10 stars if I could.Thank you!!
The customer service of everyone I encountered was amazing. The nurse who checked me in was so welcoming and helped me with issues I was having registering online. The nurse who took me to the examining room was very friendly. I LOVED PA Massey! He was so kind, patient with my questions and extremely professional. It was a wonderful experience!
Everyone was super friendly and sympathetic. Got in really quickly to be seen. Communication was excellent. Overall a great experience!! Very clean facility. And use of technology is great. Text updates and LCD monitor with your place in line.
Our whole family was sick. Our provider Marc Massey was really wonderful. He listened well, and was very fast and efficient with the diagnosis and providing our treatment. Yay Marc! A++++
My symptoms were not taken seriously. This was not just a waste of money and time, but harmful advice.Visit 1: Your lungs sound clear to me. Idk what you are talking about, there are no crackles. And your viral tests are negative. Just take Mucinex.Visit 2: Let me tell you how the common cold works. Maybe come back in tomorrow, but it says your lungs are clear. Take some Mucinex, rubs some Vicks on it.10 mins later, I went to another urgent care and an X-ray confirmed it was PNEUMONIA.
Short wait.Quick relief from the discomfort.Good diagnosis, and willing to help afterwards (when I phoned in about details of the prescription).Thank you Dr Hussain & staff
My appointment was at 1:30 pm I wait about 40 minutes. After that I went pick up my prescriptions the medicines didn’t not cover by my insurance I asked the pharmacy to fax back and ask for different medications, but Argent Care did not respond back for 3 days. I end up bought the expensive medications that Argent Care provides.
The staff was fantastic! Loved being able to get in line from home. Great medical care! This is the only urgent care I will take my kids to. They even handle broken bones conscientiously and carefully!
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a wonderful nurse. She was knowledgeable, made us feel welcomed and that we would receive great care. The PA Mark, was equally impressive. He gave us confidence in his medical recommendation and found ways to relate to my daughter. The clinic was clean and inviting. It was our first visit but we are switching our urgent care needs from Stanford to Dignity based on these interactions
Relatively fast service and helped me with my problem quickly and throughly. Its my first time but great experience at urgent care.
Wonderful admin person who is patient and thoughtful. Physician and team were quick and thorough. Great visit. I’d certainly recommend.
Pick your battles! Id say dont make this one of them!I was here on New Years Day for what I thought was a sinus infection. After being told by the one doctor on staff (who was NOT a doctor, he was a PA) that I should wait and Id be seen, I waited. After an hour I was taken into a room (fine - thats how urgent care goes, I appreciated being fit in) and they took my vitals right away. Then, I waited another hour. When I stepped out to use the restroom, the PA saw me and went oh, Ill just examine you now. Urgent care was closing at 5; at this point it was 4:20pm. I told him what I was experiencing; he told me I had an ear infection. He then prescribed a whole bunch of things - including a steroid for a cough I didnt have!! He left to send in the prescriptions and came back to bring in the printed out copies. As he began literally backing out of my room, I said I had some questions. He was so stressed for time, he tried to avoid hearing and needing to answer them. Only when I pointed out that the prescription hed prioritized was MISSING from what hed sent in did he come back in the room. It is unacceptable to understaff and over accept patients! Youre sacrificing patient care and doctor capability!Furthermore, HE NEVER SENT IN THE PRESCRIPTION. I arrived at the CVS only to be told it was never sent, never received, and could not be filled.Im disappointed in DignityHealth for so many reasons: there should be a grown up doctor on site. You should send in prescriptions. And when a patient responds to a survey saying Id like to speak to someone about my experience and you respond saying someone will be in touch...BE IN TOUCH. I followed up with a call - still nothing. Its shady to send a bill dated late January with an early February deadline. Its even shadier when the person paying it is ALSO paying for the second opinion they had to get the next day.
This place is awesome. So glad when my doctors office is closed--I can get an X-Ray, and their follow up with my primary care physician is excellent.
The staff there is an absolutely amazing the doctors are super thorough everyones extremely nice 10 out of 10 would recommend
The entire staff was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. Its few and far between that you find a doctor and staff that is pleased to serve. The PA was so knowledgeable, fun, and upbeat. The BEST bedside manner I have encountered in my adult life. Im beyond thankful for my experience.
Great nursing staff and quick response times. Appreciate their compassionate approach with young children.
The facility is clean, the people are very very nice I saw a nice physician assistant with a fro… he was key to the wonderful experience, he was amazing
Soup to nuts, a great visit. On time, easy to schedule, amazing staff and Gabrielle is one in a million. What a treasure. His kindness, empathy and validation made this such a reassuring visit for me. Having recently had an invalidating experience at a different Urgent Care in Palo Alto that rattled me, I’m grateful for this wonderful team. Thank you again Gabrielle and Sam!!
The Staff is a 10/10 but the Employer is to blame for understaffing and overworking them. So sad to see such amazing professionals endure this company.
Fast PPD Skin Testing! Results after 48-72 hours. Affordable, Professional and Helpful Staff.
Quick, easy, clean. I was able to get a same-day appointment, which was convenient because we were across the country on a road trip. The staff were super nice and helpful. The facility was clean. I was able to see the PA and get my prescription filled and be on my way quickly without much interruption to my vacation!
I was able to make an in-person appointment that same morning. Gina and Mark were amazing! Great customer service, timely, very personable. I was in a great amount of pain and they made me comfortable. Mark is an incredibly smart PA and after asking me questions, quickly diagnosed me and provided treatment within ten minutes of the exam. He is thoughtful and really listened. They are top notch professionals and I highly recommend them! Five stars!
Quick easy and my provider was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail - I am a retired nurse and I feel Mark and the whole office are very respectful
Easy to make an appointment. Compassionate care. Efficient with little wait time.
A mentally ill man came in and was being aggressive towards staff and scared the patients in the waiting area. They had to put him into a room before convincing him to leave. He has apparently done this every week and has also had the police come in the past when he became violent. More precautions have to be done to protect the staff and patients. Maybe an intercom with a buzzer at the entrance would provide an easy and safe solution? If nothing is done I fear that one day this man can easily attack someone during one of his fits. Hes a large man and it would not be hard for him. I would not be surprised to hear this on the news one day. Your staff is wonderful. They deserve the basic right to work in a safe environment.
Staff is very friendly and caring for first time I felt comfortable and helped sweet people understand knowledgeable, kind, good communication. I appreciate you! Thank you.
PA Marc Massey is just amazing the way he treats you and he really cares about you. Gloria is fantastic too. Great team.
Best urgent care experience Ive ever had. I was seen in 10 minutes. The doctors were kind, efficient, and helpful. They were reassuring. They didnt make any assumptions and trusted my opinions and knowledge of my own body and symptoms. They evaluated me carefully but quickly, gave me detailed information about my covid diagnosis and the timing for my isolation, and gave me reassurance. Shoutout to Kelly and Marc in particular.
Five star to this place is an understatement!! Thank you Sarah and Steve for your profession and hospitality.Steve’s bedside manner is unbeatable! Steve was encouraging, positive and good at patient education. He even sang to make me feel less nervous during the procedure. The location is convenient, right next to a parking structure free for the first 90 mins. The clinic is peaceful and clean. Most importantly, my symptom was relieved after the treatment.I hope you never need to visit an urgent care, but if you do, this is a top notch place to consider.
Everyone at the office was super nice! I really needed to be seen for my asthma and was so relieved when they let me know they would see me to refill my prescriptions and get seen. They were very thorough, and made me feel comfortable. I was educated on how i should be taking my inhalers, and also made sure there was nothing else besides my asthma that needed to get addressed. All in all I give this place a 12/10! Just the atmosphere alone and how comfortable they all made me feel when i initially came in stressed was a world of a difference. Definitely recommend people to visit this location!
One of the best Urgent Care experiences Ive ever had. I took my wife here because she had extreme nausea. We were able to get in very quickly and Steve was extremely friendly and helpful. He worked quickly but we never felt rushed like we have at other places. Thank you so much team for helping my wife and providing her with such excellent care!
Today this urgent care center really came through for me. I needed help with a prescription before I went out of town and PA Marc was so helpful in getting it called in and made sure it was in stock too before sending over the prescription. Because my primary care doctors office was closed today ( and had ordered it for the wrong Date) I was desperate to get the medication I needed. PA Marc was extremely helpful and so was the staff. I appreciate having these services so close to home and readily available. Kudos to the team there!
Dr Emily Franzane is so kind and helpfull. She solved my problem professinally. Thanks so much
Easy to book appointment on line.Everyone was very caring, especially PA Steven Wemple.
The WORST experience ever! DO NOT VISIT THIS CENTER. It is a bummer that I cant give them zero stars! My wife was feeling sick with body aches, and we went here seeking advice to find out a specialist we need to visit later. However, in just 10 minutes, the doctor (I believe his name was Steve) displayed complete incompetence in diagnosing the issue and exhibited a lack of kindness. He kept repeating, I dont know, theres nothing I can do. We felt extremely frustrated and utterly wasted our time seeing this doctor. The only thing prescribed was an anti-inflammatory medication. Even worse, they charged us $350 for this pointless visit. I am currently finding a way to obtain a refund. It makes absolutely no sense to pay $350 without receiving proper treatment and medical advice.
I scheduled an appointment before showing up. It still took hours before I was able to see a provider. They were not communicative about the wait times.
The compassion the staff here showed me saved me this week.I suffer from cluster headaches, an incredibly painful neurological disorder which requires oxygen tank access to manage pain and abort attacks which are triggered by sleep and laying down.Due to incompetence at my neurologists office I ended up with no oxygen tank access for a week straight, the result of which was that I went a full 3 days without sleep during which I suffered unmitigated attacks. In desperation I turned up here with the specific request that they provide me access to an O2 tank and a place to lay down so that I could rest for at least a little with assurance that I could abort the associated attack. They listened dutifully to my story, learned about my disorder, and helped me get exactly what I needed. I was able to finally get a bit of rest and avoid an attack and regain a bit of sanity while waiting for my own O2 tanks to arrive.Although they could not provide me this care through the night, their compassion and attention to my specific needs in that moment brought me a brief but much needed reprieve from my disorder.Historically it has been very difficult for me to get treatment for this disorder because of its rarity and the fact that there are no measurable abnormalities to explain the pain. I cannot adequately express how much it meant to me to be heard so clearly and given such responsive care.Thank you to all the staff who helped me, especially Sam and Marc
Great spot for quick treatment. One of the only places that still takes walk-ins. I have been probably five times. They have been courteous prompt and given me excellent care to the best of their ability.
The place itself is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and professional. But my appointment which was supposed to be at 11:30am actually began around 12 noon (after arriving 10 minutes early), and thats not including being seen by the medical provider. Its already 12:25 and Im still waiting for a M.D./N.P. in the patient room. I know clinics can be busy at times, but this day didnt seem like they were packed with patients at all as I only saw one other person waiting. So be aware of super late delays. Will end this live review at 12:38pm...still no provider.
We made an appointment by stopping by. Excellent service and quick results for our NAAT test. We waited for it and we soon and out within a half hour. Mr. Stephen Temple was so kind and printed our results and made sure we had the correct names on it as our passports. Also the young man who tested us was excellent. He explained to us what would be done along with asking us where we would e comfortable in waiting. Outstanding service by these two people.
I had a tick embedded in my side. They got me seen right away, removed it and allayed my fears about Lyme disease. Unfortunately, Ive developed an itch every time I come out of the woods from a hike. I think it might be psychological. ; )
I tried to hold back but nothing could get done properly and its very saddening doctor excuse me physician assistantMarc. Was very pleasant seem to be concerned trying to be thorough however he was riding on a little yellow post-it my notes and my prescriptions it wasnt very efficient perhaps he might have went to the computer and just started logging. I came home and arranged to go to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine but I thought I should call first see when it would be ready. I made after many attempts to contact dignity go health and being placed in a answering machine service that didnt they finally got in touch with me after I made a phone call to them again at just around 5:00 p.m. I had needed to have a ride to get my prescriptions 14 phone calls to the pharmacy one day later my prescriptions were at every Safeway pharmacy between Redwood City and Belmont it was a nightmare it took 3 days to get my prescription properly filled and at this point the pharmacy was doing al…
NP listened to us and had a good manner with my son. All staff were friendly.
I will never go to any other urgent care! My nurse was sweet and my Dr actually cared about me and he gave me choices of treatment. I really appreciate the care he put into me as a patient.
I have been to Dignity Heath Urgent Care 3 times so far. In the first two visits I had everything was great. However, the last time I was there, I was visited by Charles Brandsmeier. He is NPR. I was there because I had Covid and when I was coughing my lungs hurt badly so I wanted to make sure my lungs are clear. He was unwilling to talk to me, give me any suggestions. He was unwilling to examine my breath. He was unwilling to write a prescription for me. He made me very uncomfortable that I was thinking why I am even here. Because I had a N95 mask on, I could not breath properly and I started to feel dizzy, and I could not see anything, but he forced me out. I came out of the building and fainted in the street. He is the worst appointment I have had in my life.
I have used their Redwood City Urgent Care 2x over the last year. Their portal is easy to pick a time that works for me. The pre-complete form makes it very easy. Most important the care has been a excellent. No feeling of being rushed and asking all the questions you want a medical provider to ask. Highly recommendNow make that 3x and this one was a little tricky with the thorn deep inside my foot. Excellent job!
Staff is great and thank goodness I got an appt but, most of all, Steven Wemple always goes above and beyond 👍
I had called ahead of time to make sure I could get my TB test with them, which they do, but when I called they said it could be paid in cash or card. I took both just in case but then when I got to the location they only accepted card. So just take both just in case but overall good service.
Definitely not recommended due to the attitudes toward the customers. The customers will be informed the insurance won’t get the service covered upon arrival which was the last minute, and we are about to take international flight tonight. From a customer’s perspective, the agency was forcing us to do the paid service without informing us beforehand. At least, the agency needs to let the customers know in advance instead of rejecting the clients requests directly and asking the customers to pay extra $350 for each person. Very disappointed.
First off, I want to thank Steve PA & Gina RN for the most excellent service I received at this Urgent Care! My experience was welcoming & I really felt the attention given to me in treating my Condition was right on! I am now recovered fully from the top notch care and regimen prescribed to me by Steve. Thank you again for your excellent care and service! 👍🏼👍🏼
This is the worst urgent care I’ve ever been to. The staff there is very unprofessional. I came there with terrible sinusitis and I asked for medications to relieve the pain and symptoms. PA Marc told me that I will need antibiotics only if the symptoms won’t get better in a week. Sounds ridiculous. Also, he asked me strange questions not related to sinusitis. However, PA Marc told that he prescribed me nasal spray and antihistamines and it was sent to my pharmacy. But it was never sent then. I called to urgent care several times after and asked to send my medications, but they never did. So, I just went to a different urgent care (Carbon Health) where the healthcare professional prescribed me antibiotics and nasal spray, so I finally felt better. Also, they haven’t charged my insurance (which I provided during the visit) and sent me the full bill. My insurance covers Urgent Care visits, so it looks like they are just too lazy to file a claim. Please, don’t waste your time to go there.
Same day appointment, quick visit, tech friendly service (online registration, portal, etc)
Visit was quick, wait times were clearly communicated. Location was very clean and organized. Receptionist was attentive and processed my check in quickly. The nurse and doctor were both very professional and kind, which made what should have been an unpleasant experience much more bearable. In short, I cant recommend this location enough - and I feel lucky to live so close to such a stellar urgent care facility.
I was seen by a PA, Marc, who was a great listener and very personable. He not only prescribed me the refill I needed, but he also had a helpful recommendation for a new medication that could help manage my issue. Much appreciated!
Beware. This place is full of quacks who have not stepped a day into medical school yet treating patients. Isn’t that a scary thought? Lack of sufficient healthcare options in this area is what is allowing such places to flourish. And outrageous bills for the trauma (not treatment) they cause.
This is my new go to urgent care from now on! From the start to finish the process was very easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved my experience with dignity. My daughter has also been seen here and the same goes her experience! Keep doing whats you guys n girls do there!
The WORST experience I have ever had with urgent care!!! My husband fell while biking and hurt himself, so we decided to go to urgent care in Redwood city (just because that was nearest!!) just to make sure he doesn’t Have anything broken. We were seen by doctor and referred to have some scanning. After that we asked if we can have records to go to our primary care provider and have scanning there, but Dignity team encouraged us that if we do scanning there, instead of going to another place, it will be much more quicker so we can have our results at the end of the day (which was YESTERDAY). We did that, headed to San Bruno for scanning center. That was yesterday at 11am. Since then we HAVE BEEN CALLING to get some results or response, but every time we’re told to wait, since NO ONE looked at our scanning images. So my husband since yesterday has been waiting with his hurt hand and leg to see if he has anything broken so he can take further steps. Is this how it supposed to be????? today we were told that FOR SURE get our results by 12pm. Now is 3pm, almost end of the day, and still NOTHING!!! Never go there if you have something urgent. Because you may get worse or die while waiting for some response from them.
Always a long wait, but I’m glad that they are there to help in certain situations.
I was able to get an early morning appointment which was very convenient. I needed immediate help (eye infection). The receptionist was courteous, professional and friendly. I was seen by a PA promptly. This person was energetic, experienced, knowledgeable and prescribed medication and treatment which was effective. I have no reservations about recommending this facility and staff. Best of all, my eye infection is healed! Thank you Dignity Health.
Great experience. I “reserved”my spot online and was seen right away. Lisa checked me in. She was kind and very professional. Then I was seen by Steve. I liked him slot. He was caring and knowledgeable. He ran the appropriate diagnostic tests (urinalysis plus c&s), and along with my symptoms, I was treated for uti. I was feeling 100% better 24 hours later! I highly recommend them.
I loved my experience at this clinic. Friendly accommodating staff. The doctor was knowledgeable and thorough. Explanations were surprisingly understandable while he reticulated our diagnosis with the use of visuals as if giving a personal medical lesson for our well being.
Both the nurse at the desk and the dr were exceptionally helpful. They squeezed in my very sick 8 yr old son when we didnt have an appt although we were told by a health plan of SM advise nurse she sent a referral for us. The staff at GoHealth didnt have to help me like they did but chose to which is impressive in todays medical care. This is not my first time being treated well at GH urgent care facilities. I have been to two. The Dr took my sons symptoms seriously, listened to us compassionately and did all he could for us. Beyond appreciated.
BEST CLINIC EXPERIENCE EVER! I really needed last minute assistance with a COVID-test as I felt feverish and needed to travel. I came in and the urgent care staff were accommodating as ever, efficiently helped me out. I got my results quickly and can now travel knowing I am not putting others in danger!
I needed a confirmed negative COVID test before a surgery and the labs from my regular doctors COVID test had not returned by the day before the surgery. THANK GOODNESS for the Dignity investment in the rapid COVID testing machines and their excellent process management for safely testing us from our cars. You dont have to wait for 2 weeks to find out if your healthy-it only takes an hour start to finish. Thanks Dignity!
Best urgent care I’ve ever been to. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and I didn’t have an appointment. Mark and Gina were so awesome.
An oasis in the desert of traumatizingly poorly staffed urgent cares in the bay. They are truly the best urgent care I’ve ever been to! Dr Steven is the most caring PA I’ve ever had and the front desk staff were incredible.
Nice place , very clean , very nice stuff and doctors , would highly recommend
I desperately needed a rapid covid test so I could travel. Went to 2 places who said they did rapid tests but didn’t. One recommended dignity so I took a chance. The admin was amazing. I walked in with no appointment and no clue. She answered all of my questions & got me in for the covid test in about 1/2 hr.All the staff were kind, considerate & knowledgeable. I walked in in a panic and left with a huge sigh of relief!
Very easy to see someone, fast. Dr Massey was super helpful. And the whole team helped with follow ups to see a specialist. Feel much better now knowing I have a place to go nearby in the case of another urgent health need
I have a horrible sunburn that I tried taking care of for days & couldnt bare the pain anymore. I walked in and they helped me. Answered all my questions and were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend them.
I like going here rather than the ER. It is cleaner, you can check-in online and get a wait time. This time however, we had a bad diagnosis. I brought my 12year old son in because he sprained his ankle. He complained of ankle pain but said he couldn’t feel his foot. I figured we would need x-rays so we headed in. We were seen right away. The doctor was nice and checked my son’s ankle. She decided to do ankle x-rays. She came in and said he had a broken heel. I was surprised because he didn’t mention anything about hitting his heel, just twisting his ankle. She said she and another doctor felt it was very clear his heel was broken but did not know how he got it with the injury my son explained. He was splinted and done up in an ace bandage. I approved charging me for crutches and we were told to follow-up with an orthopedist. She also said the x-ray would be checked with a radiologist. I should receive a call the following day.Late in the afternoon the next day, she called and said the radiologist thought it was negative for a break but she and her attending were still very convinced. Three days later we decided his heel was clearly not broken. The swelling was down in three days and he was able to walk comfortable on it. On the fifth day, he played in a baseball game. His ankle is still a little sore but our diagnosis was clearly inaccurate. It was disappointing but we are obviously relieved.I would use this again to avoid the ER for illness but probably not to avoid an x-ray.
Easy to book Rapid Covid Molecular tests for airline flights. Results are in 15 mins. The doctor and nurses there are especially kind and cordial! They were also very informative and not rushed to answer questions. I had a later appt for my husband but they made a real effort to fit my husband in for his test the same earlier time as mine so we didn’t have to come back again.
My wife came to this place with flu symptoms and even though she has both Medicare and Supplemental Insurance(100% coverage) they still asked her for a credit card which she refused to give them. There was no waiting patients when we walked in and although we filed online to expedite things we still had to wait for an hour,to what the Dr who saw her, said it was still better than waiting for 4 or more hours at an emergency(?!).Next time our own Dr cannot see us right away,we will prefer to wait at the emergency room than going back to this place.Healthy providers ought to realize this is a business like any other and patients should not be treated with disdain and they should just apologize for the inconvenience, instead of arguing their point.
Wow! They’re lovely really!! I was surprised of how sweet the staff was. Went there for a NAAT rapid test to enter Canada (was accepted without any issues) and they did the test and paperwork in such a detail and they were all just nice. Fully recommend the clinic.
The Redwood City center has provided our entire family with excellent service over the past year. Our toddler got his flu shot here and didnt even flinch, much thanks to the awesome staff. Fast, efficient, professional and family-friendly - we couldnt ask for a better urgent and backup care provider. Thank you!
Nice and clean, friendly staff, great dr that listened to my concerns and adequately diagnosed my problem. Fairly fast service not a long wait.
While the staff are very curteous and competent, the patient experience here is a total fail due mostly to terrible use of systems. The online site advertises “check in and wait at home,” but that’s not the case. Patients are seen first come, first serve. The online system texts you to let you know your appointment time is ten minutes out, but when you arrive, you’ll be told that there are no appointments. If you come in and then leave during your wait, the system puts you at the end of the line when you check back in. Like I said, nice people and competent, but terrible experience overall.
Excellent staff is great Doctors are amazing Ty
Great staff! Very thorough. Professional, Clean & Safe. Tons of parking in garage. Best Urgent Care I have ever been to! Keep up the good work! 👍
Very friendly staff, thorough and efficient and truly caring. Many walk-in clinics feel like a factory line operation trying to get people in and out without much personalization or investment, but every doctor and assistant who helped me out was very personable and it felt like they all truly cared about their patients’ well being. :)
I would like to THANK THE STAFF at this Urgent care ❤ facility Emily(RT)Brinly(MA)Steve(PA)for the heart felt welcoming!! At such a difficult time in my life.. I was comfortable do to those awesome team members listed above!! Their Honest smiles compassionate concerns about my well being.made my visit easy.
So hard to contact anyone here. Non functional central customer care, long wait time at clinic. No one picks the call, voicemails are full. You feel frustrated and helpless contacting them. Difficult to use and buggy web login system. Just the nurses and doctors are helpful.
We had a walk in visit to this facility this morning for my wife for a trigger finger ailment. The staff attended to us very promptly, were very cordial, friendly, assuring and understanding. Attended to all our concerns and gave us valuable guidance and help.Thank you very much Sequoia and the team.
I went for the drive-through covid test today. The experience is awesome!I reserved online and had smooth check-in process. And got the test result by only about half an hour! If you want to get your test results fast, I strongly recommend you to go to GoHealth!
I came into the facility last Friday night to remove a wood splint in the feet. The service was great, and staff and nurse was nice and compassionate. Yes, I had to pay out of pocket, but it was a good choice and better than having to go to an emergency room. Thanks!
Easy to get an appointment with the app. Everyone was helpful, pleasant and attentive.
Great location, easy parking, clean facilities. Steven Wemple is incredible. One of my best healthcare interactions.
Outstanding service from check-in to check-out. Everyone was very friendly, clean waiting room and exam rooms. Mollie Moore was very knowledgeable and took the time with me to explain diagnosis and treatment. Under 30 minute wait time, which I appreciated! I would recommend this urgent care to anyone!
Very clean and everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating!! I went in for a skin issue, and the staff made me feel very safe. I was seen in a different part of the building then the COVID testing center, so my exposure was minimized.
Thank you. I received great support and feel much better. Id highly recommend urgent care (10) thank you for following up I appreciate the level of support by the support staff and ensuring I received timely help. In addition, the doctor I met is extremely competent and took the time for the Epily exercise to relieve my problem with vertigo.
The staff was very welcoming and I loved that they took time to engage with my son. Ive been to many places where doctors only talk to the parent.
I had trouble finding immediate openings with any provider through HPSM. Holly Chow and the medical assistant, Eva or Ava, were so kind and professional. They explained every process to me patiently and were just very empathic. They are both stellar healthcare professionals, and I would recommend them and Dignity-GoHealth Urgent Care to my friends and family.
I walked in with an urgent medical issue at 5:30pm Tuesday evening (they close at 8pm) and without asking what I need care for they told me there was a 3 hour wait. Meanwhile there was only one person in the waiting room for a non-urgent issue. This clinic appears to be under staffed and unable to prioritize urgent care.
For quick, convenient, on the spot COVID test results, this is the place to go. Appointments for the next day is easily available. The staff went out of their way to call to obtain missing paperwork so they didnt have to send anyone away.
The staff are 1st rate and the speed of service is far superior to pretty much anywhere else.
It was thorough ,fast & everybody was very friendly.
Came here to get sutures removed. They didn’t take Kaiser insurance, but said I could pay $50 for the simple procedure, and it wouldn’t be anything more since it’s not a full office visit. Did that, but got a bill 2 months later charging me $200 for a full office visit. This is a very shady business. Avoid like the plaque.
I booked a covid test appointment and later realized that I had to cancel my upcoming appointment. I attempted to call the clinic several times over a week to cancel but nobody ever answers the phone on any of the lines that I tried. I attempted to use the Dignity web portal to chat with an agent but nobody is ever available at any time of day to answer. I emailed their corporate headquarters to inquire as to how to cancel an appointment and nobody is answering emails. There seems to be absolutely no way to contact Dignity in any way for any kind of scheduling information. Ill be avoiding using Dignity for any medical services in the future if this is seemingly how broken their basic administration is.
I found Dignity Healthcare Urgent Care to be easily accessible, have good people and very good health care. I appreciated they’re being there
I loved it here, they treat you like family! I give Dr . Wemple & his nurse two thumbs up. I will most definitely return if needed. Thank you so much for your kindness and excellent care!
My initial visit was smooth but it has been impossible to reach the clinic (either via email or phone) for a followup issue regarding the medication I was prescribed. There is no way to speak to anyone except the billing department over the phone, and the billing department was unable to reach anyone who could help me.
As a parent I was impressed how seamlessly appointment and COVID testing were conducted. As a marketer I was blown away how flawless and inclusive my digital experience was before and after the appointment. Would love to have Dignity Health available in South Bay
I have an upcoming outpatient procedure that required a COVID test before hand. The staff is quick, efficient and the nicest people ever.We are super lucky to have Dignity UC here .
My visit with the folks here was one of the best urgent care experiences I have ever had! The facility was clean and organized, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the PA that examined and treated me was very knowledgeable and competent in regards to my need. I would highly recommend this facility for any urgent care needs.
Went to Dignity health urgent care for a pinch nerve and received great care from the staff. Reviewed my symptoms and prescribed medication and treatment.
The wait time was brief, and the evaluation was efficient.
*Front desk staff, Kiana, was uncomfortably loud with the check in. (During my check-in, Evan spoke louder than me!! I could not hear myself)*Gina swabbed me, dropped a medical swab stick wrapper and proceeded to pick it up with the same gloves. Contamination!!?*Kiana, ignored my safety concern and gave me an annoyingly stern look then walked away.*Evan Bailey was not medically confident or definitive with my dx. I may have...?I dont think you are contagious? I HAD TO BE THE EXHAUSTED ONE TO ASK AS EVAN FAILED TO ASSURE ME.Where is the Attending Physician overseeing the clinic?
The service was good: I was seen just a little past the appt. time I made on-line, and the staff were friendly. It was pretty quick before they confirmed my feeling terrible with a 103 temperature was because I had the flu.My ultimate unsatisfactory experience, however, with Dignity Health Urgent Care (DHUC) started when the doctor who saw me (Dr. Steven Wemple) prescribed a new drug (Xofluza) he raved about from Genentech, and told me it was covered by my Health Net PPO insurance. With a 103 temperature, I walked to the Sequoia Station Safeway pharmacy only to find out they did not have it. I then went to the CVS pharmacy next door, and fortunately they had it, however I’d have to wait one hour. With an hour almost gone by, one of the pharmacy staff let me know that, in fact, my insurance does not cover the Xofluza. My insurance, it turns out, only covers the generic brand of a more common flu drug, Tamiflu. The Xofluza would cost me $95 vs. $5 for the generic Tamiflu.Despite my 103 temperature, I had to call DHUC to have the doctor call in the request for the generic Tamiflu. When I got a hold of and informed Dr. Steven Wemple he focused on his dissatisfaction on my insurance not covering the Xofluza (“The Genentech guys were just here and said pretty much all insurances cover [Xofluza]”).To add insult to injury, the doctor emphasized how busy they currently were, and how done he was with this situation (ouch!). He said he’d call in the request for the generic Tamiflu as soon as he could. When I expressed urgency because I’d been waiting with a 103 temperature for over an hour, his response was that he’d been working all day.Clearly I did not feel any empathy from the doctor, and his comments made me feel like I was inconveniencing him despite he originally told me the Xofluza was covered by my insurance. Not to mention he did not even acknowledge me just being diagnosed with the flu, but rather focused on my insurance not covering the Xofluza.I ultimately waited almost two hours before getting the generic Tamiflu - a wait time that could have been avoided if Dr. Steven Wemple hadn’t misinformed me about my insurance covering the Xofluza. I can’t help but conclude that there was an incentive for Dr. Steven Wemple for patients he treats that purchase the Genentech drug, Xofluza.I will not return to DHUC. In fact, this negative experience where there was a disregard for the patient and, instead, a favoring for corporate ($) interest led me to completely omit Dignity Health as a health provider for myself.
I was so sick that I overslept. They saw me anyway, an hour after my appointment time. The staff were understanding and quite nurturing!
I felt compelled to write a review because I thought the one star review (all because they didnt take the reviewers insurance) was a little unfair. This place was everything I wanted/needed from an Urgent Care center. Clean, timely, everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional.
Dignity Health provides efficient and timely medical care with flexible hours, knowledgeable staff, and state-of-the-art facilities. I highly recommend it for anyone in need of prompt medical attention.
Staff was wonderful. They welcomed me with patience, kindness.
I waited for more than one hour but still don’t see the doctor… I booked the appointment online already. It doesn’t make sense for appointments
PA Marc was perfectly friendly and calm and sympathetic, while I was in tears from a severe poison oak reaction and skin infection.
Friendly and helpful staff, every staff member during my appointment was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed and cared about for my appointment
Only after writing this review did they finally correct the situation fairly quickly and said they were still getting organized re: Covid. I am updating to add a star for fixing it, but it doesn’t excuse the billing person I had to deal with-insurance and I both called many many times to no avail-Hopefully they fired or retrained the main contact or else plan to work with the person who responds to bad review-they are very kind and will help.Writing reviews, especially negative ones, is rare for me. This is my first for a healthcare provider. This healthcare provider is defrauding patients and possibly insurance companies by charging for services that are incorrectly coded. I gave them repeated opportunities to correct this with no reprieve and have now reported this to their parent company’s compliance company. Even my health insurance company stepped in to remedy it by ask them to code it properly, and they refused. If you go to them because you believe you have covid, due to your symptoms, and need testing, they ,will likely also require you to see a doctor at the same time. While they coded the test properly as covid-related, they did not code the doctor’s visit as such. The result-my insurance company cannot pay it. Had they coded it properly, insurance would have covered it. Instead, I am getting stuck with a $300+ bill. Also, they admitted their test accuracy rate is less than 50% correct and recommend getting tested elsewhere if you are negative but have all of the covid symptoms. This place is a complete waste of time and money, and they are unethical.
Warning do not go to this clinic when Steve is on duty. Hes incompetent and useless. I was diagnosed with a UTI a week ago by a competent female PA at this location. Long story short symptoms worsening, tried to explain the Steve how I was feeling, and he told me how bad his day was. so, I asked him if hed worked all day peeing every 5 minutes with pain in his stomach, back and never region? Ah, no!
I’ve been here a number of times now. Always friendly, professional, and quick. Although I hope I won’t need to, if I have to go to any urgent care I will go here.
Incredibly thoughtful, kind, and thorough. One of the best urgent care visits Ive had. I truly appreciated the phone call follow ups and the kindness that I received during a painful moment.
Very clean facilities, kind and helpful staff, informative doctor, attentive medical assistant, ran all the tests I requested to figure out what was wrong, Ill definitely be back
So surprised they offer rapid COVID test (NAAT) that provides you a report in 20 mins, friendly and expert staff, although the booking process is a little confusing (without an email confirmation about what type of service being booked etc).
Easy appointment making process and there was no wait. The staff were professional and friendly, and the facility was clean. Mark & Gina were great!
If you make an appointment that service is great. They get you in on time and they are very thorough. I like the doctors there.
Dr. Mark was efficient, kind and knowledgeable.
Prompt, easy process. Best thing though about redwood city location is Dr Steve! He is the best and takes time to listen. Wish he could be my primary care doctor!
While covid test was fast, they charged $301 for one while airport is $225. They are gauging you and only letting you know once they have conducted the test, so you don’t have a choice. Horrible experience
The staff is nice, and everything, but if you come for a COVID-19 test, just note that they use the abbott rapid test, which is known to be less accurate than others, they told me they miss up to a third of cases.
Very kind and professional 👌They make us feel comfortable thank you for all your help.
Easy to book online and was seen fast. Great Quality of care and friendliness. Front desk staff very responsive when I needed more help with rx
My husband was very promptly, professionally and throughly. We were very happy with all the staff. Thank you
Had the stomach flu for more than 3 days, i had experienced vomiting, nausea, fatigue (to the piont of nearly passing out), very bad stomach clenching and a few other symptoms, and the doctor was able to confirm it was the stomach flu and was able to perscribe me medicine for my nausea and recomended some pediatric popsicles to regain the vitamins and nutrients that I had lost from the vomiting. The staff were all very nice and gave me some advice on what to do if the stomach clenching came back. Would definitely recomend this place if u need to see the doctor for urgent care.
Very friendly nurses and practitioners. Thankful for the quick check in process, and online pre-appointment check in options. My appointment started on time and I was able to get quick results/treatment.
Long wait even though I took an appointment and showed up on time. Staff are friendly, though they seem to be under qualified for the work. It was a complete waste of time and money for me. Go there only if you dont have any other alternative.
Dangerous sub par care. I came here after a car accident with multiple standard concussion symptoms (headaches, unable to focus, vision issues, balance problems, easily tired, confusion, irritability, light and sound sensitivity, difficulty using screens). The doctor told me that I must have just hurt my neck and that I should go home. I went to Stanford Express care right after; they diagnosed me with a concussion and whiplash, and I ended up spending two years in treatment with neurology because of how serious my injuries were.
Rosselle did an amazing job, and has such amazing customer service skills, she was so patient and understanding with my concern and helped me throughout the entire time I was getting tested, 10/10!
The timing was great 👍🏼 staff was nice Dr was very thorough and to the point also very friendly I had a great visit overall. Very accommodating.
This place definitely gets 5 stars. They were very patient, very friendly, very careful with COVID and the staff were sweet. It’s a place I will for sure recommend to others.
Would highly recommend this urgent care! The staff is great, nice and efficient.
This place is awesome. Dr Steven is so attentive and helpful. Staff is also very polite and friendly.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The doctor seemed to really care about how I was feeling and my concerns
I went for the Abbott rapid test. Felt very safe and everyone was extremely kind and efficient and the PA named Steve was also super informative about the different tests available at this site!
Quick service and results! Needed a negative test to come back home and this location had everything I needed. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely recommend.
The staff were excellent. Kind and thorough. They even stayed a little late to finish caring for my son. We could not have been treated better. They were lovely.
If I can rate this place zero I would, its the worst place to get your care at, they don’t communicate really well and they keep the people waiting outside without a time estimate. It’s much worse than the DMV. Get your care else where.
Flexible system - scheduling appointments online, walk-ins, accepting new patients, and accepting broader types of insurances. Good, caring doctor.
AS OF JAN-2021, this is a RAPID COVID TEST DRIVE UP ONLY health clinic. You MUST PARK in reserved area on Jefferson Ave. No walk-ins. Signs are NOT legible when driving by as they are small—Just park in the RESERVED AREA MARKED BY CONES on Jefferson Ave directly in front of Urgent Care sign as in pic taken. Covid-19 test is NOT self-administered. They must stick the swab in your nose, but at least they don’t stick it all the way up to your brain. Not that uncomfortable really. Overall good testing area—it is just REALLY POORLY MARKED.
Urgent Care implies relatively fast help. Waiting over 2.5 hours to see the doctor is not that. I would recommend going to a different provider that clearly states expected wait times.
Signed up online for a visit, I entered my insurance information with member ID and the portal said my insurance was accepted so I made an appointment. Upon coming in they told me my insurance actually was not accepted and that it would be $250 to see someone. Broken system. In America, urgent comes with an asterisk!
Great experience, everyone was professional and attentive. The wait was minimal. I like that it’s up too date with technology where paperwork was minimal and almost everything is in the electronic format. Absolutely recommended.
The staff are very polite and professional. I can get my Covid PCR report for travelling by less than one hour
Came today for Severe Nasal and Chest Congestion but the man refused to take me because I have Brown and Toland HMO, apparently they dont take this type of insurance, although i work for dignity health. Wheres the Human Kindness. So I have to go Sequoia Hospital Emergency.
Walked in to the urgent care at 5:10 pm with 3 people waiting and they close by 8 and didn’t have availability. From 5 to 8 is 3 hours, not a good customer service
I usually go to the one in Belmont but they are closed weekends so I went to make an appointment to get a check up on my arm an the lady on the phone said we dont do that worst lady ever should never reject a patient.....gave 1 star I think thats still being nice
The treatment, and the attention is great. Felt they care for my health and did the best to make me feel betterThank you
The office was clean and spacious. Everyone was nice and professional. I truly felt cared for.
Waited for two hours even though I had an appointment and the doctor still never showed..
Very professional and personable staff. Smooth operation, easy to schedule appointments and get care quickly.
The professional staff at Dignity were wonderful Flying in to SFO from the East coast I knew I had something major happening Went straight to Dignity who had a diagnosis within 30 mins bronchitis Thank goodness they had me on the right meds because I am actually better to start my work day The nurse and PA were kind respectful and caring while allowing me to as questions etcTop notch I highly recommend
The staff there is great, Ive been twice now and theyve manage to solve both of my problems within the visit. Thanks to Lisa and Steven both. Really great duo of people.
This has to be the worst online experience since COVID. It took me over 45 min to figure out how to book a COVID test. Conflicting information and wrong information at times.
They dont accept Cigna even though thats the insurance they provide to their employees. I sat in the lobby for an hour only to be told that I can either pay full price or go some where else. Very disappointed with my experience.
Great! Loved the staff. Super fast and easy, no unnecessary procedures but also they are truly caring.
Most professional staff ever! Thank you Sarah and the fine Doctor for the special treatment and putting me at ease during these troubling times! Thank you! So easy!
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. DH Urgent Care sets a great standard for quick, affordable healthcare.
Excellent, quick, attentive service and same day prescriptions!
Great new facility. Extremely clean. The staff was very knowledgeable. Steve the PA was excellent ,funny and I was in and out fast . Five star experience
I had to go in for a shoulder injury and they didn’t take long to get me into see a physician. Good place, kind staff, and no issues. 👍
Clean, quick, professional. Everyone I encountered really listened. The best experience I have had at an Urgent Care facility.
They have the Abbott Labs 15 minute COVID-19 test (curb-side). You wait for your result (in 15 minutes if you have a negative result or just three minutes if you are unlucky and have a positive result).
Everyone was super nice and helpful they even lowered the lights while I was there with an eye problem with light sensitivity
I got in and was seen quickly. The staff were friendly and I received good care.
This is a good place to go for urgent care. They helped me get the attention I needed and was able to refer me to the care I needed in a timely way. They went way beyond what most places do for urgent care.
Everyone was very kind. Explained everything to me from my exam to the meds they were giving me.
Convenient and very friendly staff and Dr explained my issues very satisfied
Over a 45 minute wait with appointment. Was not crowded.
All of the staff assisting me during my COVID testing were extremely courteous and helpful…nice job!
Team here really cares about the people who walk in and talks you through options. They went out of their way to help me with referrals. Great service!
Steven Wemple did an outstsnding job! Great manner snd stitching skill.
Mollie was awesome. She was caring and helpful. I was impressed that she called to check up on me.
