The attendants were sympathetic and attentive to my health concerns. I was seen promptly and the physician spent adequate time with me. I have been to this facility before and am always pleased with the care I receive. I do wish they would follow up to see if my issue has been resolved.
I really like this Urgent Care. The staff are always very kind and courteous. My son has autism and is non-verbal which makes it more difficult to manage his care. The staff is very kind and always ask the best way to do things with him. This Urgent Care is very close to my house and open until 8:00 which is helpful. This Urgent Care is very efficient and appears to work diligently to ensure patients are not having to stay any longer than necessary which is good because my son does not do well in situations where he has to wait long periods.
I want to preface this review by saying the previous two times Ive gone to this Urgent Care, I received excellent care.I reserved my space online and added all the necessary documents (insurance card/drivers license) and was seen promptly. The woman at the front desk was awesome - on top of everything and super nice/comforting, as was the medical assistant. However, the provider I saw seemed very unsure of what was going on. I had to return two days later as things had gotten worse and at that point she prescribed something - only I had to call back three times to get the prescription sent to the right place and in the end had to go back to the facility to pick up a paper copy of the script in order to get it to the pharmacy and get it filled.
I was very pleased indeed with the quality of care I received at our urgent care facility. The PA (?), Ms. Esther Kim, who examined me was very personable, clearly very interested in my complaints, and answered every one of the many questions both my wife and I had. She also wanted to make sure we followed up with her to give her status on the progress of my expected recovery, which impressed me. She is a valuable and welcome resource for our whole community.
The person who checked me in was incredibly sweet and helpful. So nice! The medical assistant was really nice, and asked a lot of relevant questions before and after taking my vitals. The provider was equally as nice, incredibly professional in everything she did. She was gentle while removing glass from my foot with little to no pain. Very thorough with the care after the removal, and very nice and calming/reassuring to talk to throughout. Excellent care. Much appreciated!!
Medical assistant and PA were very thorough getting to my issues. PA Explained things very well and prescribed treatment. I was in and out very quick and efficiently. Happy with experience.
Terrible experience with an RN treating recent cough who didn’t even bother looking at personal history and was convinced I had Covid or flu and when tests came back negative like I tried to tell, she said the phrase, “ okay I am going to diagnose you with…..” like she doesn’t know what else but out of options - and gave OtC instructions that had she read over my history, would’ve seen does not affect me per my prior treatment experiences. Now I have full blown pneumonia and I feel like I was just charged to be evaluated instead of nipping it in the bud as I felt it escalating in my lungs.I will be sure to request a different opinion/provider if I come across this RN to treat me again 😒
Excellent staff from check in to check out. I was in something of a rush due to a call I had to make and they accommodated my (admittedly rather selfish) request. Amanda, the nurse who took vitals and asked me what was wrong, was kind, had a good sense of humor, and yet very professional. The doctor who saw me, Dr. Zhenzia, was great. They did a couple of quick tests, determined the issue, gave me instructions and I left. The location is convenient. Good parking and close to Giant Pharmacy in case they write you a prescription.
Without an appointment, my husband was cared for and given X-rays all within an hour. He was thoroughly treated for a laceration in his leg by Amanda and Ashley who graciously answered all our questions with a warm smile and some humor. So glad we chose this location for his care and highly recommend to all in the area.
The staff was very professional. There was only one person in the waiting room ahead of me, so I was able to get in to see the nurse practitioner in less than 5 minutes. I did go at 10:30 on a Tuesday. Medicine was prescribed and faced to my pharmacy. I would recommend Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care for any non-emergency need.
Very sub par facility. I could not understand the assistant. The doctor did not address my problem. I got an ecg (I can get that on my iPhone ?) that was not important to my ailment. Did my finger blood prick 2x (1st didn’t work:-! ) totally not satisfied. Sorry. I had a good experience the other time I went.
I visited the Inova Urgent care in Reston after being bitten by a dog. The staff was very efficient and professional. I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival. I was assessed and treated by a NP who was very kind and knowledgeable. Prescription called into local pharmacy right away. Would highly recommend. I would use again.
Cellular signal is not adequate at this location. The public WiFi shouldn’t be used to send the sensitive health related data needed for the registration. There’s no password protected WiFi signal/any other way to complete the registration. The front desk is rude when asked if we can use the secure network stating that we can’t give you employee network password.
What a great experience! I went here for a minor injury and chose Ivova Urgent Care because it was close to where I live. The receptionist was friendly and went above and beyond to confirm my eligibility because I am insured through the Department of Veterans Affairs. I was seen very quickly and the Medical Assistance took my vitals efficiently. I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner within a few minutes and she had such a pleasant demeanor and bedside manner. She gave me a prescription for antibiotics and was on my way. The total time was less than 30 minutes. 5 Star experience from start to finish!
Sitting in the waiting room 25 minutes after an appointment time I reserved. The location isn’t terrible busy, just another patient waiting (walk-in) and myself (scheduled). I was told that appointments are not when patients will be actually seen and to just sit quietly with no regards for the schedule of responsibilities that I personally have today. I can hear the receptionist answering the phone “Hello, please hold” when he is not actually on the line with anyone else. Perhaps I’ll update this if I’m blown away by the clinical care, but for now the customer service has proven abysmal.
Single most useless urgent care I have ever visited. I went for a swollen and painful arm. All this place wants is your credit card information on file but wont tell you what for, how much they plan on charging or when. They take your weight with shoes on (incredibly inaccurate) and I left with nothing more than Tylenol. I was asked what I wanted to do for the problem rather than being told what I needed to do. Went to another provider...and my arm had a stress fracture. Nothing about this place instills any trust at all. Go elsewhere. Waste of time and money.
Horrible experience. I went there because Im in the Inova system and came back from vacation testing positive for COVID. Made an appointment (6:47 PM) online and filled out everything including insurance and pharmacy information. Finally saw the PA and she confirmed my diagnosis and gave me my prescriptions. Then the nightmare starts. “You’ve already sent them to Giant Pharmacy Fox Mill?” “Yes”. I should have looked at the paperwork more closely but was not at my best. Of course, Giant pharmacy doesn’t have them in their system and so I call GoHealth and call and leave messages. Drive back there are get to the door at 8:01. They close at 8:00. I can see there are still staff there and knock on the locked door. No one will answer. Call the next morning and no one answers so I drive there and tell them that the did not send my prescriptions to the correct location and wait until the nurse assistant who took my weight comes out and says they sent them to the correct pharmacy this time, but one of my prescriptions (anti-viral) is no longer available, But “be sure to drink plenty of fluids.” Great advice right up until the pharmacy fills the exact prescription, she says is no longer available. Can’t get the prescriptions right, don’t ever answer the phone, don’t return messages and just generally incompetent. Maximum time, maximum frustration, maximum stress while ill. Obviously, I won’t ever be returning.
Nurse practitioner had x-rays taken when I specified I had hurt my foot. Afterwards concluded with ibuprofen and using ice. I recommend not wasting your time or money here, when this level of facility has achieved the minimum. Just go to a hospital because of the wait and performance.
All of the staff were very polite and professional. They took great care to make sure I understood every step of the process. The care staff took time to listen to my situation, shows great compassion and made sure I understood each step in the process. I am also very happy that Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is tied in with the Inova system.
Extremely helpful, professional and compassionate provider. Inova Urgent Care North Point Village Center in Reston is my go to for my urgent care needs. Special thank you to the entire staff for always making me feel welcome and cared for!
I had an infected finger. The Physicians Assistant expertly identified the cause and took appropiate action to treat the problem. Finger now well and healthy.
Even if you call and they say they take walk ins. They lie...I drove here Sunday afternoon. Woman turned me away then locked doors and refused to answer phone before closing time. She already had her purse on and did not want to be bothered by my simple ear infection.I have pictures if anyone at nova cares...call me. I left vm for manager ar location.
The front desk, nurse, and doctor were all great. The doctor was quick to diagnose, ordered a prescription, and I was in and out in under 30 minutes.Loved the appointment option, though I felt bad for drop-ins that had a long wait.
What a difference having a FNP and Technician that actually take their time to listen to you and provide the appropriate tests and exams, give feedback and in my case get a good cleaning of the ears.My wife wasn’t feeling well and as the Inova walk in center in Ashburn was closed on weekends went to the Inova Urgent Care in Reston. We arrived a few minutes after 8 am and after filling in paperwork was brought in by Erika the technician who was awesome in taking vitals and after consultation ran some tests on wife, who it turned out had the flu. I had the same tests done by filling out my paperwork and except for my ears that needed cleaning was fine. FNP Laura K Nyindem was great throughout with our exams, courteous, listened and gave us sound recommendations.Contrast with a previous visit when a Doctor was on duty and too busy to do much.Your rock Laura and Erika.
Sadly, after multiple visits here for various issues i have to leave this unfavorable review. The office is nice, medical personnel is too , with the exception of the front desk characters. As for actual help, there is not much to expect. They will take your vitals and talk to you. That’s about it. They do not do any, even simplest, of procedures but will be quick to refer elsewhere.
UNPROFESSIONAL! The lady at the front desk lacks people skills. She should be retrained or relocated. Walked in today after leaving work early to seek medical treatment but was turned away because I didn’t have my insurance card on hand. Ended up going to the Inova ER down the road and they helped me no questions asked and everyone was really nice too.Night n Day experience.
I was very impressed with Amanda at the Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care in Reston. Amanda took the time during intake to make sure my medications list was up-to-date, and asked thorough questions regarding the reason for seeking medical attention (hives with extreme redness and itching). Amanda was personable and professional, and answered all of my questions about the prescription the doctor ordered. She also knows how to administer a nearly pain-free steroid shot; the injection site wasnt even sore afterward! Overall, Amanda provided stellar care; it was above and beyond merely a job well done.
The visit was great from start to finish. I went in with an unbearable cough and the Nurse Practitioner diagnosed Acute Bronchitis and prescribed medications that have helped a great deal. Everyone I encountered during this visit was considerate and informative.
Thank you to the staff and medical personnel at the North Point INOVA Urgent Care for your professionalism, concern and friendliness when I was there. I was treated with respect; I really felt awful and got a quick diagnosis, proper meds and now thankfully am on the mend. I was in and out within an hour. I will use this INOVA facility again!
Greeted warmly and had vitals taken after a short wait. The COVID exam was hard, as expected. Once the results were in, I was tested to see if I could tolerate Paxlovid. Took a while for results, but I was approved, prescribed and on my way to healthy living.
As a walk in, the wait wasnt too bad, and they were able to get me a boot and X-ray order. It would have been nice if an X-ray was there though. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Everything was perfect! We could fill out forms before our visit, reserve spot online, office was extremely clean despite the fact that it was weekend, and the staff were kind, quick, and caring! Will go to this location for our future medical needs!
The desk assistant was a bright spot of my day, and the care and advice from the nurse practitioner was spot-on. This was my third visit and I’m definitely a satisfied user!
Short wait.i had an appointment and arrived early and they were able to take me..PA was very nice and thorough.
Came in early for a finger laceration. The doctor and his assistants were great. Doctor answers every nervous question I had and kept me calm
Dr. Yuen and PA-C Kim have helped me so much over the years. Im so grateful for them providing such wonderful urgent care services in our community.Thank you guys!!!
I have had to visit UrgentCare several times and have always found the reception desk and the doctors to be efficient and professional. When one is not feeling well it is a relief to be welcomed and attended to by caring people!!!!
Seen quickly with extremely pleasant staff. Urine testing for UTI and prescription given. All very efficient!
Literally the worst. Reception was awful with absolutely zero empathy. She was annoyed with every person who came in and very dismissive with anyone who had any question - pushing them to the kiosk and not even making eye contact. The exact opposite of caring or supportive of people who are sick and need additional help. If I could give zero stars I would.
Front desk staff member was so friendly and helpful. Intake provider was efficient and listened to me. Dr. Chaudri was thorough and explained her assessment and recommendations. My prescription was accidentally sent to a pharmacy in another state and the team was very quick to fix it. Very professional and competent care all around.
I am always glad to see Dr. Chaudri. She is a clearly caring, compassionate person and professional. The rest of the staff were appropriately personable and professional.
I wasnt sure what to expect as the reviews were very mixed here, but its the closest urgent care to me and I was in a lot of pain. I made an appointment a little bit in advance for a Saturday morning and I only waited a few minutes in the waiting room. Both techs that I saw were very nice and thorough, and the nurse practitioner as well. They took me seriously and did some tests to rule things out before prescribing a medication and referring me to follow up with a gastroenterologist. I would definitely go back here in the future for urgent issues.
It was the first time I needed urgent care. I had a broken knee. The Inova-GoHealth team attended me super quickly. They were cordial, effective and made everything they could to support me. The smart nurse who attended me first was super nice. Then, Dr. CHAUDRI was amazing. She helped me with an X-Ray, and after results, called a orthopedic specialist, helping me out with pain medication and other first treatments. A tall male nurse/doctor I unfortunately forgot the name also helped me a lot. And another team member, Jaryl, was a star. Due to my circunstances, and his empathy, he even drove me from the emergency room, and drove me home, with his own car. He really cares about the patients, at a profound level. All the team there really cares. So I feel blessed that I could meet them today. I believe that the Reston community is lucky to have these health care providers and that they will be ready to continue to help all of us.
The bedside maner of the medical assistant who helped me was amazing, Doctor was very thorough and Im very satisfied with the service I was provided.
You HAVE TO HAVE A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ON FILE BEFORE YOU CAN BE SEEN, AND YES, I HAVE INSURANCE!!!But you cant be seen regardless, UNBELIEVABLE. I WAS BITTEN AND I NEEDED A TETANUS SHOT AND I COULDNT BE SEEN UNLESS I HAD A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ON FILE
I had a really wonderful experience here! The entire staff was kind, tentative, and quick, while still making sure to listen to all of my concerns. I think they could tell I was anxious to be there, so they cracked some jokes and told some stories, which helped alleviate my worries. My concerns werent brushed off once, which I cant say for every urgent care facility Ive been to. I was seen by Nicole Heidaran, and she made sure to listen to all of my concerns, was very thorough in her questioning, and performed a number of tests to rule everything out. As a woman, it felt good to seek medical care and finally be heard instead of ignored. Thank you to the entire staff there for making me feeling comfortable and taking care of me!
Really kind and thoughtful—even when I came in 20 minutes before close. They took really good care of me—thanks Ashley and team!
I’m an employee of Inova Gohealth Reston and Dr Chaudri is a great provider. Great team Reston , thank you for your hard work and dedication to your patients !
I really don’t want to sound entitled but I have always assumed people who schedule appointments get there appointments at the scheduled time or maybe a little bit after depending on how busy it is in the back . Because the patient is scheduling based off the next availability. So I assumed I would be seen before the walk ins , I was able to see who the walk ins were because there is a TV in the waiting area of who is in the lobby that showed all the walk-ins and all the scheduled appointments . So I always assumed I would get seen before the walk ins because your on the schedule and walk ins are usually seen trough out . Scheduled patients should always be first before walk ins even if you get there after them. There was around 5 people in the waiting room when I arrived witch were all walk ins , My appointment was scheduled at 12:51pm and I was the last patient to be seen from the 5 walk ins that were there before me . I was not seen until 2:40pm . I first went to the ashburn location but they had no technician for x-rays so they referred and scheduled my appointment which was very kind . But when they made my appointment, they told me that it is best to schedule the appointment so that way I’m not waiting in the lobby forever . So I made that appointment to not really be in the waiting area for so long to protect my self and others from getting what I might have or what they might have . This was very upsetting and there is not really a point to schedule an appointment if your still going to be last before the walk ins
Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this Urgent Care and will not be going back. I had scheduled an appointment, but when I arrived, the front desk informed me it was a 3 hour wait and I couldnt leave. The waiting area was completely full with people wearing masks and coughing, there wasnt even a seat for me to sit and wait for 3 hours. A few individuals had walked in and were immediately helped and told there were only 2 people in line in front of them, so I asked the front desk why they didnt have a 3 hour wait. The front desk told me that its because they left and she called them when their place in line was up. I was confused because the front desk individual told me that I couldnt leave for the 3 hour wait.
The doctor in the entire staff were 100% professional. They took their time and did not rush and listen to my questions I was able to be seen at my exact appointment time.
Best urgent care Ive visited. Great staff all around. Very professional and caring.
I had a terrible experience tonight. The past few times I’ve gone there I’d book for just my daughter and they’d add my son to the appointment. Well this time I needed to add my son and myself, they were very annoyed said they’ll do it this one time and they’ve seen 80 people today and they want to go home. The rapid tests were negative and I was told by the doctor that influenza rapid tests are pretty accurate, but I Google it and that is not true according to the National Institute of Health and the CDC. The tech didn’t even put the ear thermometer in my ear all the way and I said it wasn’t in all the way and he just took it out and recorded the temp he got. I was living with a positive case of flu type an and now I’m loopy and dizzy and in pain and can barely breath short of breath and have 103 fever! The tech interrupted me when I tried to tell him the timeline of events and said we’ve had a very long day can you please just wait and just answers my questions for each person because it’s been a very long day. Then he put a thermometer under the tongue to my 19 month old, and I told him she’s never done under the tongue and he was ignored me and continued to tell my mute daughter to close her mouth over and over then grabbed an ear thermometer and used that. It was a Terrible experience!
The nurse called us idiots. The nurse practitioner didn’t give us antibiotics and we obviously had an infection.
The whole staff was kind, courteous and helpful. They listened to me and provided me with everything I needed to feel better.
Very courteous and friendly staff. Had to wait about 20-30 minutes over our scheduled time. All were very apologetic and thanked us for our patience. I would recommend to anyone in need of quick medical care.
The check in was quick and easy and the nurse and doctor were very kind and they heard and answer all my concerns
Quick, kind, and safe. Compassionate care that took time to check my symptoms and give me peace of mind.
Staff was friendly and competent. Was seen within very few minutes of my appointment time.
Ive never had any problems there. Reserving a spot in advance is best so you dont have to wait long. The staff are always nice. The doctors seem to care.
AMAZING! Efficient, knowledgeable and great care. Went here for my daughter. We made an appointment and were seen right away. Axel Lucca was spot on with his diagnosis- we were in and out within 30 minutes. SO impressed with this urgent care. Thank you!!
I love being able to make an appointment. The doctor was knowledgeable and spent time with me. He was personable and kind. He cared about me and made sure I had the referrals I needed to get further help for my injuries.
This was as good as it gets. No wait, I was seen, diagnosed and discharged in about 45 minutes, and everyone was friendly and caring- thank you!
Catalina & Sarah were wonderful. They treated me with respect & compassion.
Thanks to the front desk, who processed me quickly to the nurse who took my lab samples and processed them without delay and to Dr. Osman, who ensured my pharmacy got my drug order filled as soon as possible. They saved me from an emergency hospital visit and probably saved my life.
I went in with an eye infection, no vitals were taken and I was not examined either. I thought they might give me a Covid test since pink eye is apparently associated with the new strain, but they didn’t. I was in the “exam” room a total of 5 min. I received a prescription for eye drops and so far my eye is worse. I paid my co-pay when I was there, but found out later I was automatically signed up for auto-pay, which I do not want. I called later that day about it and was told that I consented when I signed the electronic signature pad which I was required to do. I was not told or provided with any paper telling me I was consenting for auto-pay. When I called them about it, the person who answered quickly rattled off a website for me to go to. When I asked him to repeat it he told me he had other patients and immediately put me on hold. I guess the 2 minutes on the phone with me was all he could do.
I am so thankful to have found this place. Their hours are perfect for me to come after work with any issue. I’ve learned overtime it is best to make an appointment. The doctors are thorough and do not jump right away to feeding you prescriptions but rather looking at your long term health and hearing the whole concern. I am so grateful and blessed by being able to come here. Keep up the amazing work as we are so thankful for you to all be working there!
Terrible practice here , We went there fr finger injury they mention nothing they can do , we asked for cleaning ourself , we mention if we need to take nail out they say if you say we can but I have never taken out nail for finger before she was nervouswe asked for MD doctor advice and it was rejected right away saying FNSPS and MD doctor has same qualification , we mention we are not happy with service but guy seems cared nothing and mention just follow up with PCP and they just charge you for saying this only.Over all terrible service will never go agin here, wish I have some minus stars
The gentleman who works the reception area was great, and the young lady who walked me to the back and took my vitals was nice as well. The doctor who saw me was efficient and assuring. The next time, I need to go to an Urgent Care, it will for sure be this one.
I live pretty close to this facility and have been there few times in the past for urgent visits. They were good but last visit was terrible. They lost or mixed my urine sample and asked me to give another sample after I started on antibiotics. Also I gave stool sample 2 weeks ago. Still I havent received results. Called few times . They said they will get back. Not sure I will visit them again.
Could not find the vein in my arm so moved to my hand( Im muscular it happens). I asked for a copy of my test results and they told me they could print it out myself at Nova online at home. ( Dont know why I could not get a copy of test results in their system that they did) the front end female was new and helpful. The guy training here was adysmal and had an attitude the whole time.
I visited the Reston-Urgent Care Center 08/28/23 at 7:50 pm accompanied by my 85 years old father and 2-year-old son. A patient at the waiting area informed me that the clinic was not taking any more patients, so he ended up leaving without being seeing.Front desk / Elise came to the front and informed me that the providers are not taking any more patient because they already had 4 patients in the rooms and its almost 8:00 pm.She never asked for my ID, proof of insurance or reason for the visit. I tried to understand what was happening...when asking questions Elise repeatedly said that providers are not taking any more patients. Was I being unreasonable to walk-in at 7:50 PM?Aaron, PA came to the front desk to assist. He tried to help Elise and was willing to see my father but at this point my dad just wanted to leave.Even When talking to Aaron, I could still hear Elise talking to me. It was confusing / embarrassing...I believe Elderly and kids are higher risk for Nosocomial infections, so I rather take my 2-year-old son and 85 years old father to Urgent Care first to Urgent care. Unfortunately, Elise did not offer / refuse to register my father today. My father also left without being seeing.
I am so grateful and thankful, BOTH times, I was there. The level of professionalism, kindness and caring everyone, from the young lady at the desk the 1st time I came in, and the young man when I came back for Follow up, to the RNs that did the preliminary stuff to the medical providers, soooooooooooo wonderful! You dont know how much you need a little kindness and understanding when you turn out to be diagnosed with a double ear infection . . . . . . . . . . and you have no idea what someone went through before walking in your door. Thank you all sooooooo much all your help and kindness. Im so thankful and I recommend hands down everyone come when you need to be cared for.
It was easy to set up an appointment using MyPremiseHealth app, office location was convenient, staff and provider were knowledgeable and friendly, wait time at the office was short, and they ordered my prescription before I left the office. I had a great experience! Thanks!
They are inefficient with time, I waited an hour and a half to be taken back. They took people who came in after me ahead of me, and when I confronted them and asked when I was going to be seen after a second person was taken back ahead of me, the woman at the front desk said, “umm, you’re next.” Do not recommend this location.
First of all, some of the reviews on here are straight up petty. If the doctor prescribes you a medication in response to you having COVID, dont get angry at them for doing their job. These medical professionals have endured the pandemic and yall are straight up mistreating them. Show your doctors and nurses some kindness and understanding.Anyway, this urgent care is a good one. Every medical professional in the Reston Urgent Care was kind and compassionate to a fault. The level of patience and professionalism here is exceptional. An elderly woman waiting next to me was complaining about waiting in line due to being in pain. This elderly woman was immediately offered a wheelchair and was taken into a room where she could be comfortable. The front desk workers go above and beyond and are very kind and attentive. The facilities were impeccable. The wait may be long because guess what? We are still in a pandemic ya fool!
I went in for moderate illness since I’m on day 8 where I had to miss a week of work so far. I had already done 2 covid rapid tests at home, which were negative. I was told to keep using Tylenol and Aleve and to wait it out. I was also told they don’t do blood work at this location. I would have gone somewhere that can do blood work if I had known. They were nice enough to check for the presence of white blood cells in my urine in case I had a UTI, which was negative. No other tests were performed. However, the dr did examine me. In my opinion, they do not appear to be equipped to handle moderate illness, particularly because they don’t do bloodwork.
Every member of the staff was friendly, kind, empathic, and professional! I am from out of town and couldnt have hoped for a better experience!! Thank you to all of you who assisted in my care! Especially the young man out front, I could not see out of my one eye. He took my cards and input everything for me so I didnt have to struggle!! A+ rating for this location and team!
Do NOT GO. Nurses great. Female on shift Dr is willing to tell you that youre dying and need immediate transport via EMS. Told my friend (in ear shot of me) that she didnt think i would MAKE IT to the ER 5 MINS AWAY! Scared me to death. Ed. Emt. Tell me I need to follow up for preventative care. I will pay thousands of dollars cause this woman does not have the expertise to read an ekg nor the bedside manner to know she should not be diagnosing. I am utterly furious.
Everyone was great! Its nice to go to a doctors office with personable people. It makes the experience great when you can tell the staff likes interacting with patients and enjoys their job. Keep up the great attitudes and work.👍
My first time using this facility. I was very impressed and pleased with the service from the cleanliness of the facility to the professionalism of each staff member I met. I was also in and out in a reasonable amount of time and very pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend this location and also use it when an appt wasn’t available at my family practice.
Extremely slow service. Didnt see a technician until 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Then I waited in a room and the doctor didnt see me for another 20 minutes after that. However, everyone was very nice and the doctor whose name I forget was very professional and understanding
Expert and respectful care. Doctors take time to listen and diagnose your situation. A shoutout today to Dr. Chaudri! Convenient and immaculate facilities. Be patient on the intake side; wait times can vary, as this is a first-in, first-out urgent care clinic. If you think they’re taking too long to call you, remember, they’re likely taking the time needed to properly care for the person in front of you. And that’s what we all want…
Best urgent care I’ve been to. The staff was friendly and efficient. Everything was quick!! I hate waiting around. Dr. Kokta (?) and I didn’t get the nurse’s name but they were all wonderful. Even the front desk gentleman was awesome.
The receptionist could care less what going onI filled out the paper work and there is one where they asked is you have a disability.no one read that paper apparently. I am hearing impaired and I read lips. With their mask its very difficult to understand apparently no one read .Later I had to call twice because the pharmacy told me They need authorization from the doctor one nurse told me she talk to pharmacy to change the medicine that was no cover by insurance , when i call the second time because the pharmacy was still waiting for the doctor to authorize the changes the receptionist said to me we don’t do authorization here. REALLY!! 4 hour later I don’t have my medicine. What is going on with customer service! I am so sick and end up with no medicine. The doctor was very nice, but I couldn’t talk to her on the phone.
Moving to a new area and needing non-emergent medical care is really scary. I actually used Google to find Inova. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted and directed to the simplest way to sign in. EVERYONE was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient! I really enjoyed the entire experience and will be sharing it with others. Thank you!
One of the worst medical experiences ever! After I made an appointment I got a call asking why I was coming in, They tried to give me reasons not to have an appointment. Doctor was short and rude, the scribe who seems to be both deaf and mute is a horrible addition to an already uncomfortable environment. The only thing they do well is explain what they cannot do for you. Useless only go here as an absolute last resort. And to add insult to injury before even seeing a doctor or NP (and be careful as they refer to their NPs as Doctors) Their sub par front office staff instructed an elderly woman with covid to stand outside in the cold after being in the waiting room for over 5 minutes, They also would not allow a husband to go in with is wife to see the Doctor. This facility and staff could use a complete reboot and re-training on patient care.
I came in suspicious of infection, They asked for urine sample without any instructions, and after two days of waiting, I’m getting a contaminated sample message! Since it’s an urgent matter of infection which could spread to kidney & vital organs, they could take two seconds to explain how it supposed to be done!! That’s not an everyday thing!! Now I have to go visit an actual office with decent staff that bother to talk to patients. They should be sued for negligence! No wonder they’re always empty.I also got one of those automatic follow up calls and indicated that I would like a call back, but I didn’t hear anything.
Wrongly charged. They are scamming people. I was told one rate and i was charged higher. The rude billing department says talk to someone in facility and blames the insurance for charges and the facility people asks the other way round. Then someone sends a ‘contact us’ link and even then the matter is not resolved for months.
Went here with a head ache and sinus infection so bad I could barely stand up. Receptionist suggested I do telehealth because only one provider was available. Then my husband went outside because he wanted to make a phone call and the receptionist started flipping out because he “unlocked the door” ? All he did was go outside and come back in and even after telling the receptionist he didn’t unlock the door, he just simply walked outside and back in, she told him not to unlock the door in an annoyed voice because they close in 1 hour. Never coming to this place again
Very nice staff who called 2 and 3 days after visit to check on my son’s progress
The doctor took time and care to solve my eye problem.
Was tween rather quickly and was properly diagnosed! Highly recommend this urgent care.
This is the most organized urgent care I have ever been to. They were friendly, thorough and quick. I wish all were like this one.
I have been here for my daughters on a few occasions and our experience has always been positive. The receptionist, nurses and doctors are all very friendly. Today we saw Katie who did a strep test on my daughter and for the first time it was not a traumatic experience for her, thanks to her special “technique “.
Exceptional service. The team at Innova Urgent Care move with a sense of purpose.
We needed care on Sunday and were so happy that this place was open and close to home. I was happy that its in Inova as my other doctors as well.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional care at Inova! PA Awofodu and her staff went above and beyond, providing attentive and personalized service. Grateful for their commitment to patient needs. Top-notch care that deserves a five-star shoutout! 👩⚕️🌟 #InovaCare #FiveStarReview
Went in on a Saturday almost at closing. All staff were friendly and efficient. We had no wait time. Double ear infection for young one. Nurse practitioner was great and nurse was awesome too. Took time to ensure we found 24 hour pharmacy most convenient for us so we could get meds stated that night. In and out in 20 minutes.
Appointments at this place makes no sense. You make appointment and still endup waiting for an hr. Go to urgent care in Sterling. Much better and faster service.
The staff here was amazing from the receptionist to the practitioner himself. The nurse was very kind and patient with everything going on. And showed genuine concern, as did the NP who saw me. I was really glad to have chosen this location for my visit today.
2 days into taking the doctor prescribed medicine, the doctor told me to stop taking it and go buy a different one, when will this end? This clinic is not interested in treating you, they are only interesting in making money. Avoid this place like the plague
On a rainy Sunday evening, I found a hardworking, friendly staff who were there after hours. Thank you for your dedication to providing quality health care.
I haven’t been inside this facility, but when it’s dark, people walking by on the sidewalk can see clearly into the exam rooms, even though the shades are down. I recommend going during the day to avoid this.
Consistent excellent care! The first time I went to INOVA Urgent Care - Reston was about 1.5 years ago in the summer after a scary incident in which I got a piece of glass logged in my throat from a Robeks drink. Their team swooped in immediately and saved me from damaging my vocal cords and esophagus permanently. The urgent care location shut down for a while, and I was bummed. They recently reopened, and I returned for care for an illness. I was weary that I would not have the same medical experience, BUT that wasnt the case. The entire team treated me well and provided me with stellar medical service from sign-in to release. I felt like I received better care from INOVA - Reston than my primary doctor Ive been going to for years. I hope they keep the same team, and I never have to return, but if I do, I know I will be in good hands! Thank you, Dr. Kujawski and team.
My first time today at the INOVA Reston Urgent care! I was there for UTI. Check in was a breeze and once they took me in, everything was done in a timely manner and the ER staff was very professional and attentive! I did not have to wait long at all for them to figure out everything. I was out within an hour! So so good! I highly recommend this urgent care!
I had an ear piercing become infected so I was seen here. The staff was friendly and efficient and the provider Leigh was very knowledgeable. She knew exactly what to do. One shot and one prescription later and I was out the door. I started feeling better within hours of my visit. This will be my new go to place for any minor injuries or illnesses from here on out!
The lady put my husband on hold 3 times!! And didn’t even get back on the phone… we have called over and over to no avail… we are gonna go to somewhere else HOPEFULLY since ur staff can’t even answer the phone to answer a single question and ignores patients? Gross… literally he had one question and they won’t answer it… “please hold” and never comes back it’s nastyI ask for ur name to file a formal complaint! And u tell me no? That it’s against policy? SHOW ME THIS POLICY?!Then deny me ur supervisor because u wouldnt answer a single question… RUDE nasty staff I hate INOVA if it wasn’t ALL that’s offered to ur veterans we would never go here. Staff are rude and nasty hang up on u and refuse to let u speak with a boss to fix the issue meanwhile WE ARE STILL SOTTING HER WITH NO MEDICAL CARE VOMITING!!! Because u couldn’t answer the damn phone LIKE ur job states and wanna blame us for not even allowing us to speak to someone else about the issue… yelling at me will never be tolerated I promise… there IS NO POLICY I will be coming in today to FIND OUT YOUR NAME to file my complaint ACCORDINGLY
Everyone was very kind, the wait time was short, and the medical attention was very thorough and helpful. Love the on-site testing for Covid, flu and strep with quick results too.
Without a doubt the best Urgent Care I’ve ever been to. The only detractor I can think of is that they don’t have the fancy check-in computers like they do in Sterling, but that wasn’t really an issue just an observation. Everyone was crazy nice, very prompt, and had a solid professional head on their shoulders. Can’t thank you guys enough!
Everyone was pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. Im glad that after moving to Reston from just a town or 2 away that I found this location for when and if I or my family need help.
We had to go in when our recently walking one year old fell and nicked his head on a door hinge. It wasn’t very deep, but was gaping. My husband was very pleased with the doctor, facility and staff in the pediatric department who cared for our son. They were so good with him, checked for all the possible more serious injuries, and were able to quickly and effectively staple up the wound, as well as check for potential ear infections. He said it was the best children’s doctor he has worked with yet and was an overall great experience. I’ll be going back today to get the staple taken out, so if I find differently, I’ll update this review.
The Nurse practitioner and medical assistant were excellent at the Reston INOVA urgent care . Very competent and kind and informed. The front desk assistant was also very kind and friendly.Excellent visit !!
I came into this location on a Tuesday afternoon; the check-in process was speedy & Liz at the front desk let me know everything she would need from me in order to update my account. She also informed me that there would be a short wait as the rooms were full, and offered me water and a snack while I waited.Janice took me back and got my vitals & did my medical history, keeping me informed of possible tests that may need to be done. I have asthma and have been dealing with it for 25+ years, but following my last URI, I could not shake my cough. Dr. Chaudri came in shortly after and went over all of my symptoms, listened to my chest & called for a chest x-ray--she even told me before getting it done that she thought it was just my asthma, but wanted to rule out anything else. Janice did the chest x-rays, and took me back to my room; Rachel the nurse gave me medicine to help immediately with my breathing/cough while waiting for the x-ray to be read. The entire process was professional and courteous; the whole team seemed to genuinely care that I felt better! I even got a courtesy call today to see how I was feeling following my appointment.I would definitely recommend this location if you are unable to see your PCP.
They have a pediatrician available noon to 8 weekdays and all day on weekends. I waited less than three minutes and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor gave me good, specific details and chances to ask questions. This is my new spot for childrens urgent care (although Id love to never need it again) .
Was told I had an ankle sprain, even after looking at 4 different views of it on X-rays. Told to follow up at orthopedic Doctor if no improvement in a few days. Went to orthopedic doctor and he looked at the same X-rays and diagnosed a fracture. So instead of proper treatment for a BROKEN ankle I walked around for 5 days on it making it worse. Thankful for the orthopedic doctor who can read an X-ray!
I had a short wait and they were very professional and kind!
Nova Urgent care at North Point is first rate. I have had two wonderful visits there and cant recommend them enough!
We had very bad experience with one of the doctor Leigh Crooks at Inova Urgent care Reston Va. Staff is much worried about money rather than solving the issue. She has less knowledge on the problem and giving advice to reach out to primary care physician. At least she should explain the problem and try to give initial treatment to resolve the issue temporarily..Wait time is more than the doctor interacted with the patient..really disappointed and not satisfied for the money payed.. Now a days doctors are giving safe summary report by mentioning approach specialist instead of identifying the problem..
Had a good experience here; will use again. Staff are professional and know what theyre doing. Didnt have to wait too long. Theyre open everyday. They can send prescriptions to the Giant in the same shopping plaza, so picking up meds is relatively convenient.
I was quickly greeted by the receptionist, the paperwork was easy to understand, and my wait time was less than 30 minutes. They were able to x-ray my foot on-site and I was very pleased at how clean and tidy the exam room was.
Very angry with the care that I got at this location. My BP was dangerously high and was having pain and numbness in my left leg. Got told that they dont treat that here and to go to the ER. I had to drive myself to the ER hoping I wouldnt have a stroke or heart attack. They did not care and rushed me out.
Major issues with billing. Got a bill from the hospital because the person that took my insurance information did not do their job right. Got a $900 bill from the hospital. Called in and got it resolved. Then started getting bills and calls from a collection agency months later for the same charge. Spend hours and many calls in trying to resolve it and it is still not resolved 6 months later. Terrible experience and I hope I never have to visit the hospital again even thought I live walking distance form the hospital
I had excellent care and treatment from the staff at Inova - GoHealth Urgent Care and I would definitely recommend Inova - GoHealth Urgent Care to my family and friends. Thanks again for the excellent experience.
Staff was great! Professional and efficient but also warm and caring. Excellent work.
Kind and professional staff, high quality service. Keep it up always!
Came in with flu symptoms and difficulty breathing. Was tested for the flu, prescribed Tamiflu and Ibuprofen, and told to use my inhaler. Found the staff all friendly and pleasant. However, since I am over 65 and have asthma I am at risk for complications from the flu. This should have been noted and and considered in my treatment at Inova. Two days later I had to go and see my primary care doctor who did consider my risks and who treated me more seriously.
The staff was super friendly and the wait time was excellent. I was seen, diagnosed and out the door within 45mins.
Seen quickly tests administered woth fast results
Im guessing I got the doctor who barely passed in school and for the licensing or else the fact I was self pay without insurance they figure its ok to take advantage since you pay before they see you. I hate going to the doctor ever and avoid it unless truly hurt or ill. I know I have a sinus infection. Doc said drainage is clear but I blow my nose and yellow is what happens. I took ibuprofen one and a half hours before visit and still had temp 100.7 when I got to their center. Colds dont have temps over 100. I am also prone to low grade fevers for everything but a sinus infection which also always requires antibiotics. Doc never saw me before today but told me she knows my system better than I do and just a common cold. Cost $200 for a piece of paper not even worth the ink printed on it. Horrible experience. Fast service doesnt matter when doc wont listen to what you have to say. I already dealt with this in March and April for same issues where doc in West Virginia paid attention and gave me the antibiotics. Only sick cause kids keep passing back and forth when I was visiting them and didnt know still sick when I got the grandbaby for the holiday weekend. Now I have to either drive all the way back there for a doctor with a brain or wait until symptoms so bad in a couple days they can charge me again to say sorry we didnt listen the first time and now we will actually do our job and treat you properly. What a ripoff.
I am a subspecialist physician and the lack of competence from the urgent care nurse practitioner was disappointing.I went to the Inova urgent care August 2018 after a soccer injury involving an oncoming player running onto my left knee leading to its hyperextension. I was only able to make it into the Urgent care by having a gentleman near the urgent care walk me there. I needed a wheelchair to get me into the room and in order to move around. My knee was clearly swollen - I was unable to flex it completely and I had excruciating pain. The NP was respectful but tried to downplay the injury. She did not do a good job examining my knee in terms of looking for soft tissue swelling and even questioned its presence. X-rays were done but I didnt receive the final report before leaving - and no one ever followed up with me despite my providing my contact information and later calling back to ask for the results. I had to demand crutches as I tried to hobble out of the urgent care.MRi later confirmed that I had a bone bruise - meaning microfractures to the bone causing blood and fluid to accumulate in the femur.I would never return again and would discourage anyone else from using Inovas urgent care facilities. If this passes for medical care, then we have problems. The only redeeming feature was that the visit cost less than $100. I guess sub-standard medical care comes at a low price!
I went to Inova Urgent Care when I was sick on 06/10 thinking I had a sinus infection. The pediatric nurse was nice and so was Naomi, the office receptionist. The nurse told me I had a cold and fluid buildup in my ear. I will definitely use them for urgent care if my PCP at Inova Medical Group is closed.
Nurse Practitioner Leigh was extremely helpful when my son was sick. She answered my long list of questions and was very reassuring. I will definitely come to Reston urgent care in the future. Highly recommended!
If you need ear wax removal, do NOT go to this urgent care center. I have had my ears irrigated many times at many places, but this is the only and first time I left with almost total hearing loss in my right ear after their treatment. The PA was clueless what the problem was, and encouraged me to come back the next day if I still couldnt hear out of the treated ear. Why would I go back to the same place if they were clueless what the problem was after cleaning out the wax in my ear. A day later, I still can not hear well in my right ear. I will never go back to this urgent care center for any treatment. I urge you as well not to go. Now I will have to go to an ENT to try to resolve the problem. Thanks Inova.
A lady manning front desk is a bot: rigid, emotionless, rude, disinterested, and just barked orders in a condescending manner. Then theres a useless assessment by a technician before a doctor sees you, which is nothing but a paper generation and just wastes time, then after more waiting there is a nice doctor that only wants to do more tests but is unable to reason/explain/think - just giving rubber-stamp type phases. All I needed was a swab for a streptococcus angina, which should be a 10 minute affair, instead of 1 hour with a corresponding bill... Idiotic, useless, efficient and to boot rude system
I visited hospital on April 22, I had heat boil on right back shoulder. I had severe pain as it is in pan cake size. Doctor Reema Chaudri and 2 other nurses drained fuss and treatment provided. My Heartful thanks 🙏🙏🙏 to Dr Reema Chaudri and 2 other Nurses.
Very rude receptionist - I believe her name was Tara? Usually there is a very nice woman but today it was someone different. Very rude, unhelpful, clearly didnt care about patients needs or trying to be of service in any way. Really disappointing when people in the medical profession act like this.
On June 15th, 2020 I received a COVID test at this location after being referred by my doctor. Months later I received a balance bill in the mail asking me to pay over $140 for an outpatient visit. At the time I wasnt aware that under the CARES Act (signed into federal law in March 2020) COVID tests were supposed to be free of charge, so I bit the bullet and paid the bill. Upon hearing that I wasnt supposed to be charged, I contacted my insurance company (CareFirst BCBS) and asked them to mediate a refund - as it turns out, unscrupulous clinics often mistakenly label COVID tests as office visits in order to circumvent the CARES Act and charge patients for them. Anyways, BCBS told me theyd talk to Inova Urgent Care Reston to see if they could correctly label the service as a COVID test and NOT an outpatient visit and process a refund for me. Its September 2021 and I have not received a refund. Yes, I checked all my statements going back to June 2020. As long as Inova owes me money I will not go to any of their locations for any services whatsoever. Get your COVID tests elsewhere, if possible.
The entire staff was wonderful - efficient, caring
Fairly fast service. Waited around 15 mins from walking into the door till being seen by a physician.Five stars for opening 7 days a week. Saved me on that Sat.
Very professional medical service. All of our questions were answered
Amanda was really amazing with my kids.
Waited less than 15 minutes- receptionist, X-ray tech, and nurse were all very kind and caring. Highly recommend this urgent care!
Thank you for a great and professional service. The staff, the nurse, and the doctor were kind, professional, and thorough. 🙏
The staff from beginning to end were all so very nice and professional
Quick, Friendly, Professional. What more could you ask for?
All staff members at this facility were helpful, caring and knowledge. My daughter and I are grateful to this team of professionals.
Everyone I came into contact with was kind, considerate and helpful. They turned what was a bad day for into a very pleasant experience!
I was very impressed. Was able to make an appointment, was seen when I got there, and I really liked my Doctor (Dr Chaudri).
Today you guys refused care to a service member. The $200 self pay was not an option because your machine was not accepting my Apple Pay. I had no other forms of payment available. While I know that you guys could bill me, the manager on duty decided to refuse care instead.
Kind, welcoming staff! Super clean facilities! We had a great experience.
Excellent and professional staff, friendly and so knowledgeable.
Staff is always helpful and considerate.
I was impressed with the quality of care given to my daughter and the short wait time.
I was wrongly charged. I was told that i won’t be charged anything more than $25. But i was charged $250. They gave wrong information and and they dont treat you well when you talk about billing.
Nurse practitioner Shawn Rohan was very thorough in diagnosing the illness and provided right medications.
Fast care, good communication, exactly what youd want in an urgent care appointment!
Excellent compassionate medical care. The staff here are very good.
Were still not out of the woodwork from this pandemic. Thank you for bravely risking your health to attend ours in such a gentle and professional manner.
I went for the first time for my daughters asthma. The staff was wonderful treating her. The receptionist was very friendly.
Great professionalism among the staff and care at the Reston Innova UrgentDr. Ulysees L.Gilbert II
Would love to see name tags and titles on staff. Great care by the nurse providers. Thanks!
Lauren, the PA who I saw, was thorough and professional. Also very nice. Thank you so much.
Great service. Very difficult to contact via phone though.

Staff and doctor all polite, courteous, and quick. Very pleased.
Everyone was absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much! We couldnt ask for more in every way.
Disorganized. Long wait time. Poor communication between nurse and doctor. Unable to even administer an IV.
Nicole and Gerald are outstanding practitioners! Kudos to the entire staff!
The team was most helpful and professional.
Fast and friendly service. I was in and out on my my way to recovery.

Been there multiple times with no issues. They get you in and out quickly and the staff are great.
Below avg at best.
Inova sold Urgent Care to GoHealth Company. Its horrible now.
Excellent and personable care provided!
Everyone was super friendly!!
Keep up the good work!
Every thing was perfect and so friendly thank you
Efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous care.
