The staff up front has been so helpful and patient. The hormones are real, the nursing staff is quick to respond. The portal works much better now. The Doctor’s have been warm welcoming. The new office is very adorable. Water, good AC, clean.
The doctors and nurses are unbelievable at Fertility Center of San Antonio! They understand what couples are going through in trying to have a baby. They will be truthful on your odds and they will work with you through everything, even living three and a half hours away! Through their efforts we have our son. A few months later we naturally became pregnant with our baby girl! Thank you to FCSA for giving us our family!
I sent a kid to school today. I wanted to stop by to thank Dr. Neal and all his wonderful nurses and lab staff that made this bittersweet moment a possibility. This year I flew in from Alabama to get an FET after another military move and glad I did. I couldnt imagine trusting anyone else to help us. This big brother is so excited to meet sister this year too!
In 2006 I walked into FCSA with the dreams of any other couple, to have a family. Dr. Neal was the absolute best doctor. He is caring and compassionate, along with the rest of his staff. My dreams came true when my first was born in 2006 and my twins in 2010. Best Fertlity clinic!
I can’t thank Fertility Centers of San Antonio enough for my sweet boy!!! He is 15 months old and the Apple of my eye.Thank you Dr. Adams and Dr. Neal for being patient with me. And listening to me. Thank you Roslyn for being such a great support person. She is amazing. That nurses for explaining to things to me. And the ultrasound tech to make sure I wasn’t in room 3. That’s the room I learned about my first miscarriage.
Dr. Adams and Dr. Retzloff were absolutely incredible! After 3 years of trying with another clinic and two failed rounds of IVF, we took a chance at Fertility Center of San Antonio. Thank god we did. We were blessed to get pregnant on our first try with Dr. Adams. The entire office is filled with knowledgeable and empathetic staff. We will return when it’s time to try for another baby!!
Words can’t explain our gratitude towards the amazing Dr’s and staff. It’s thanks to their hard work and dedication I can say we now have the family we always dreamed of. Here’s a picture of our twin boys on day 1, and 6 years today. I am living and experiencing everything I ever dreamed of. Our boys were born healthy, and not one complication whatsoever! We made it to 37 weeks, each measuring 18” long,, and each weighing an incredible 6 1/2 and 7lbs! Thank god and the amazing Dr’s and staff working alongside to help make our dreams come true.Definitely recommend!Thank you Fertility Center of SA 🫶❤️🙏
It was my first time having the HSG procedure done so my nerves were high and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Dr. Retzloff and his team did an amazing job with their calm and respectful presence. And most importantly, the procedure itself was very fast and completely painless. Thank you again Fertility of SA for the assurance and graceful care.
I couldn’t be more thankful for the fertility center of San Antonio. After trying for years and years we decided our last chance was Ivf. After seeing another clinic and getting no results, we found this clinic. Within 3 months, we were pregnant with our son. Fast forward 2 years later, we came back and became pregnant with our last baby boy on the first round. We are forever grateful for the staff and doctors at the fertility clinic of San Antonio and would recommend them for anyone wishing to extend or start their family!
Went in to get checked and see what the process or what options I had. I ended up going to a different company altogether after the Dr that examined me told me that I “should get married First then start a family” that was none of his business and it proved that this Dr was already judging me for just wanting to see what my options were. I went with an DIFFERENT fertility clinic and I’m having my second baby this year. So glad I didn’t put my money or my family in the care of this facility and that I saw their awful truth right on the first appointment.
We started our journey with IVF 2 years ago and were blessed with our miracle baby girl. Now we’re back for round 2. We love all of the doctors at FCSA especially Dr. Neal who has been so great with our journey. We have never had a bad experience and all of the staff have been super communicative and great. We switched over from another fertility clinic who dragged their feet to do anything for us and we are so glad we did.
I am very thankful for the care we received at FCSA. Throughout all of our journey, I felt supported and that everyone we interacted with cared about us and was cheering us on in this process. While things did not always go as we would have liked or planned, in each step of our process the team provided support, gave compassionate care, and helped us understand the process. I am forever grateful to the FCSA team for helping us expand our family. Thank you for the important work you do!
UPDATE: Despite the response from the clinic about issues with the phone line it’s still going directly to voicemail, no calls have been received from them except the initial one where they sent us back to voicemail, and the contact form went unanswered.Have been trying over a week to get a semen analysis scheduled and all we have gotten is voicemails, and ignored contact forms. Today my partner got a call and when they asked about what he needed to schedule they just transferred him back to voicemail. When I tried calling during office hours I got messages that they were closed. It would be really helpful if calls and/or emails were answered in a timely manner. If we can’t even get in for this, what are other more time sensitive services going to look like.
Im a GC and Fertility Center of San Antonio is my monitoring clinic. Every single appt has been so easy going. The staff have all been kind and they give off good vibes! Ive had the best experience, and would definitely recommend coming here!
Reflecting back to last year when my wife and I utilized this clinic for IVF, and now comparing it to another Fertility clinic in SA/Austin, I can wholeheartedly give this place 1 star and recommend you go somewhere else!To begin with, the doctor that gave us the initial consultation was going to do an exam without washing his hands or putting on gloves and looked lost using the equipment. I asked about gloves and he remarked he usually doesnt do the exam, so I requested that we wait for someone else. When it came to the bloodwork, their tech messed up on the labels and both analysis were put in one name only. The clinic was not helpful in getting it resolved so we had to contact the lab to resolve it. This error caused the entire ivf process to be delayed another month. When I spoke with the office manager in person, she attempted to deflect responsibility by stating We all make mistakesShe was reminded that this was a very expensive commitment and that these type of mistakes cause delays. At that point we should stopped with this clinic and looked elsewhere, but we were assured that nothing else would go wrong.Everything seemed fine up until we got the news that none of the eggs were fertilized. We are going through another clinic for IVF in SA/Austin and communication and procedures are night and day better.Communication is terrible as there was not a portal or way to check on the progess of the eggs/embryos. Dont call us well call you seems to be the motto of this clinic when we called to ask of their progress. The current clinic were using has a portal thats constantly updating plus they call every day to give status updates, explanations, and options.
What a difference…So happy to come to a clean, calm facility. Dr. Adam’s talked through all my concerns and really gave me more information in one appointment than I received in the few months from a prior facility. Everything is straight forward and thorough. Highly recommend.
Everyone at the clinic was kind and professional. There were a few delays in processing the paperwork and a lot of additional waiting , and it seemed a little unorganized. The patient portal is extremely outdated and difficult to work with. But the doctors and nurses seem to know what theyre doing and were kind, friendly, and professional.
This place and the staff are 100% rude especially the 1st doctor we had I truly think these people are just there to take your money I highly recommend you go somewhere else avoid this place at all cost ... and before the company responds back to this review this is not my real name at the top so if you look it up in your system it will not show. (Just in case you try to say we didnt go here).KEEP AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC!
Nice facility but staff lacks communication amongst each other and towards their patients. I frequently had to call myself to get anything going, I was left in the dark several times and when doing so I took it upon myself to speak to the office manager for clarification because something simple as the process was not explained to me. Which the manager did eventually clear up. However, another issue was Upon the initial appointment the doctor was discussing another woman’s history with me thinking I was her until I interrupted him and let him know he had the wrong patient— wow. My husband and I regret spending hundreds of dollars on this establishment and have sought other establishments to entrust in our journey of becoming parents.
It was one hell of a process, but one made easier by the very friendly staff at FCSA. It took two rounds, and exactly one year from our initial consultation to my sons birth, but the fantastic doctors at FCSA delivered. The only complaint I have is that at times it felt like they were trying to help too many people at once, but a little extra waiting is something I would happily pay again for my son. If you need fertility services, I highly recommend this clinic. While youre reading, if you are considering doing IVF, understand that it is an incredibly demanding process on the woman, and it will test your relationship! Be 100% positive that you will be committed to the process and devoted to each other. Just some advice from someone who went through it.
I cannot say enough good things about this practice--everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Ive worked with Dr. Retzloff for several months now and my husband and I have been so impressed with the treatment weve received.
When I brought my wife they were rude and talked about their patients. They have no respect the privacy of their patients and they treated her very ugly. Find another IVF doctor at all cost there are better ones out there
We love Fertility Center of San Antonio. The staff, nurses and doctors are so kind and knowledgeable. The treatment we receive is top notch!
We absolutely love the staff here at the Fertility Center of San Antonio! We were using another facility before that wasn’t helpful for us but we decided to switch over here. Statistically, we did not have a good chance at all of any of those working. The staff was very helpful and encouraging the entire time and was always available for us. Now, we will get the blessing and privilege of being able to bring them our baby soon to show them the results of all the hard work! Thank you to all the staff for making our dreams come true!
I am up writing this review at 2am because they deserve the feedback and I just have to do it. I have been going to this fertility center for several different treatments since 2020, I believe. I wish I could provide my story without giving my personal information but they are and have been more than just a clinic for me. Their services have been prompted and attentive to my needs both emotionally after a miscarriage and physically during pregnancies. Yes, i said pregnancies, plural!
From the time we walked in the office, everyone was so kind and helpful throughout our IVF journey! The doctors had great bedside manner and walked us through the whole process and helped put my mind at ease. After a 7 year battle with infertility, we were blessed with 2 beautiful twin boys all thanks to Fertility Center of San Antonio! My biggest regret is not going to them sooner, 100% recommend them to anyone that has a dream of becoming parents!
Wow because of a rude receptionist there and them invading HIPPA they lied about me not being able to be seen. Unprofessional and no ethical morales. They said their not accepting monitoring patients at least say the truth.
In the beginning we talked to Dr Martin, he was so informative and nice, so my husband and I decided to move forward. We chose to do the invocell procedure. We did our first blood testing and talk with a nurse who went over everything. After that, we were just treated like a money number. They over charged us and then fixed it and then ended up charging us again. We drove 2 hours for a 5 min appointment. When it came time to do the transfer, our embryo cells weren’t developed enough but we were assured that they would once implanted. The third day I noticed bleeding and notified the nurse who called me back hours later and said it was normal. 2 days later I came g in for my pregnancy test and negative. When I explained to the dr who called me days after, she stated there was nothing could be done and I could then turn around and pay $18000 more for the regular IVF. Fast forward almost a year later and my husband decided to try again but with a different clinic and was called after a release was sent over and this clinic still wanted money to transfer my files. I tell you!!! If you want to spend money with no results, please go to this clinic.
If you are looking for a Dr. office that gives you an infection that leads you to be hospitalized for over a week and then having to have surgery this is the place for you. Then after that you speak with the Dr who asks you to update him with what the surgeon says, but you cant get ahold of the Dr because hes booked for two weeks!! I eventually asked for them to send an email and never heard back from Dr. Neil. To top it off the very rude nurse, Christine, informs you they wont even speak with me until I pay 100% of the IVF that day. PLEASE PLEASE save yourself a hopsital visit, possibly loosing any chance of pregnancy due to an infection and the rude staff at this Dr. Office. Take the time to read the other reviews people posted about similar situations and spare yourself the heartache.
FCSA is hands down the best. I consider many of them like family at this point! I’ve been with them since 2018, and they blessed me with a precious son and another pregnancy a year and a half later, which I unfortunately lost due to medical issues later in pregnancy (preeclampsia/gestational hypertension). They were ALL there for me through the good times and the bad, and we’ve since gone on to produce many PGT-A tested embryos at over 40 years of age, thanks to them. We’re going the surrogacy route, now, and they have been nothing but supportive, thorough, and conscientious. Dr. Retzloff is amazing - he’s been our go-to guy since the beginning. I trust him implicitly. Dr. Neal has never transferred an embryo that didn’t implant, and is such a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. Dr. Martin, the founder, is the doctor who we first met with, and performed our first egg retrieval, which gave us our beautiful son. He’s just amazing. Dr. Adams is the epitome of compassion and will make you feel at ease in any stressful situation. The nurses - they go above and beyond… Christina, Nora, Irene, and Monica - they especially hold a special place in my heart, and are always cheering us on in our journey! And Kris, the nurse coordinator, has been so incredibly involved and beyond supportive since we decided on surrogacy - the amount of work she has put in on our behalf is insane. She makes things happen!! Diana, the phlebotomist, never misses, and makes it super easy to get labs drawn. Sandra and Karen are the best US techs in the business! And the front staff - Sandra, Alexis, Vicky, Sylvia, and so many more - they’re seriously the sweetest and always take time to chat and catch up with us. I can’t express how much I adore and admire all the people in this clinic. They take patient care and compassion to another level. Thank you for everything you’ve done for our family!
Fertility Center of San Antonio was incredible throughout my infertility journey. I had 3 IUIs with them all resulting in negative tests… however once I made the decision to go through with IVF, the nurses, staff, and Dr. Adams supported me the whole way through and were so kind and patient with me. I never felt alone when it came to learning how to take the meds (there is a lot), or the symptoms I was experiencing or next steps… I am happy to say that after one cycle we got 5 embryos. I had a healthy and safe pregnancy and my baby boy will be 1 next month! Thank you Fertility Center of San Antonio for helping me get to my journey of motherhood.
Update:2.5 months later finally got an US that showed I STILL have ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome and will hopefully get into a gynecology office eventually. So much for the FCSD nurse telling me two weeks after the procedure my pain was “unrelated”.Luckily I have experience as an egg donor because they don’t explain the process very well. Nobody told me the do’s and don’ts before starting meds. No mention of OTC meds to not take or meds recommended for the best fertility, no mention of NOT drinking or NOT working out, etc. They have everyone show up at early morning appts at the same time (with one nurse and no tech working) so the wait times are outrageous. Why not stagger appts? They are extremely money hungry. Have to pay hundreds of dollars for a five minute phone consult to even think about using their services. I’ve donated egg six times before with no issues, no pain. I just had an egg retrieval a few weeks ago and it was the WORST experience. I had insane pain, OHSS, could barely breathe because my abdomen was so distended and full of fluid. I’m still having a LOT of pelvic and vaginal pain but they told me to just go to my PCM since it’s been more than two weeks and it’s unrelated to the retrieval. Unrelated?! Hilarious. I’m terribly sorry I did not read the yelp reviews before going here. Please go to a different fertility clinic if you’ve read this review
I am so happy I found this clinic. I did Invocell last year which is a form of IVF just cheaper option for me. I had my fallopian tubes cut and burned after my 3rd baby when I was in my mid 20s. Long story short at 35 I changed my mind and wanted another one. 2-28-23 I delivered a healthy 7lbs11oz baby boy. Thank you to all the Drs, nurses and staff for making my baby possibly ❤️ I highly recommend this clinic!!!!
Fertility Center of San Antonio is a great place to start your fertility journey. The doctors and nurses are wonderful and knowledgeable with the processes and make you feel at ease throughout the entire process. They respond to questions in a timely fashion. I can say that they made us comfortable during our time working with them on our journey and were compassionate through our ups and downs. They have helped my husband and I have the family we always wanted, first with my beautiful daughter in 2013 and now with our new precious baby on the way. Thank you!
We started our Fertility Journey with FCSA back nearly 7 months ago and are happy to report we are 12 weeks pregnant!!!!🤗🤗 all Thanks to our AMAZING Dr. Jaye Adams and the staff. All the doctors are exceptional and the nurses are just so comforting during this extremely emotional journey. I have had two miscarriages in the past and have not reached this far in my dream of building a family. This is not just a job to the doctors here and staff- I saw that first hand which reassured us we were in the BEST hands. We cant wait till our miracle is born so we can share how whole they made our lives. They are forever in our blessings and hearts- ❤
I cant say enough wonderful things about this clinic, the entire staff is great! Because of them I have 1 beautiful baby girl who is almost 2 and now another on the way!! Thankful for the Doctors and the amazing nursing staff who always called me back to answer my questions and ease my concerns. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me grow my family!
If I could rate the fertility center of San Antonio even higher, I would. After trying to conceive for 2 years, we started our fertility journey with another practice. We felt like cattle being pushed through the process and that we were being forced to do IVF. That’s when we switched to the Fertility Center of San Antonio. From our first visit, we loved this place. They took the time to answer our questions, made us feel cared for and explained all of our options. The doctors and staff take the time to really get to know their patients and make you feel like an individual. We are now successfully pregnant (not using IVF) all thanks to the team at FCSA!!! Thank you for everything!!
I was working with another fertility clinic for almost a full year before seeing the Fertility Center of San Antonio and I wish I would’ve done it sooner. Only those struggling with infertility know the heartache involved and how each month that passes is valuable time lost. We had our consultation in late April and by June we were pregnant. I really appreciate that there are multiple doctors so that even if your doctor is out you do not have to miss your small window of opportunity that month and they have shared expertise. (The previous clinic I worked with only had one doctor which meant that if he was not available, I had to put my hopes for conception off another month.) The doctor at the Fertility Center of SA focused on something the previous clinic barely half attempted to address, which completely solved our problem and is the reason I have a healthy baby boy now. The only issue my husband and I had was addressed and handled by the staff very professionally.
Am I the only one having an issue where you can not talk to anyone about billing. They screen calls put you on hold and tell you they will call you back and never do. I finally called to speak to the office manager Sandra and am still waiting for her to call me back her or anyone weeks later. I have insurance and sent all my paperwork before my appointment but was still charged as a cash pay patient because some where in communication through staff the ball was dropped. From one office staff employee to another. Not only that while sitting in the front office during my appointment I heard first hand how they handle calls. One staff member answered the phone. The customer on the other end asked for someone that was right next to her. The person answering told her who it was and she jokingly said “ hello this is so and so answering service please leave a message” the office staff laughed. The employee that answered the call went back and said she’s busy right now on the other line she will give you a call later. You can tell the person on the end wasn’t happy because she had to explain to them why she hasn’t got back to her with some lame excuse. I thought to myself this is exactly what they have been doing to me over the weeks mind you no one has ever called me back after my more then 8 times calling over a period of time. It’s funny that things are so out of order when it comes to peoples billing and paperwork and no one has time but they have time to gossip about patients and employee drama between one another it was like watching a soap opera when I was there. Hopefully someone will call me back about my insurance being processed and refunding my thousands of dollars that they made me pay before I need to take legal action.
We began our journey in April 2020 right at the start of COVID-19 after having surgery to remove Endometriosis and a miscarriage.. Never in a million years did I or my husband think we would be 1 in 8 that would have trouble conceiving. Most of our appointments meant me going by myself due to the pandemic. The nurses always made sure we were taken care of and answered all our questions even if it meant calling late after hours. I absolutely love Dr. Neal and Dr. Adams as they were the two who did our transfers and Retrieval. I highly recommend them and now at 18 weeks, I can truly say I have not experienced such a wonderful experience with a doctors office like I did with FCSA. They truly become like family and I cant wait to being Baby James Gohmert to visit them in December 2021 🙂
I had a tubal reversal in March 2021. My tubes were cut, burned, and a section removed. Dr Retzloff was able to reattach one side and the other was too short unfortunately. We got our first BFP in July 2021 with it resulting in a miscarriage. We got our second BFP in December 2021 and are now 6 months pregnant with a healthy baby girl. The staff is nice, answers all questions, and calls many times to follow up. The only issue I had was that everything done in office seems a bit rushed. They are quick to get you in, and get you out. Maybe it was because of the pandemic? But overall our experience was great and I would definitely recommend them.
I cannot put into words how truly amazing the Fertility Center of SA is! We have been through a few procedures with them, some that did not end happily and EVERY SINGLE person we encountered in this office was kind, caring, empathetic and patient with us during our grieving process. Once we were ready to try again, we felt as though each doctor took their time assessing our problems and offering collective solutions. We felt important, and during an emotional time such as those you go through with fertility specialists, you want to feel important. We have been to this office so many times during the past almost 2 years and we have always been greeted with enthusiasm and kindness! From their receptionist, every medical assistant, each nurse, all the doctors, embryologists, ultrasound technicians, phlebotomist, billing, and anyone else behind the waiting room doors (we actually know all their names but didnt want to leave anyone out)! We never felt like were just $$$ to anyone there. We could not have asked for a better group of professionals to be on this journey with! Yes their success rates are amazing, but so is the ENTIRE staff! I wouldnt even consider another office (and I have consulted with a few). Rest assured, I do not give reviews...but I chose to give this one because I mean it, and choosing a Reproductive Specialist is an important decision. I wanted to make certain I shared my absolute gratitude towards Fertility Center of SA in hopes I can help other people find the right place for them.
They helped make our dreams come true! The doctors, nurses, receptionists, phlebotomists, and ultrasound techs we kind, caring, and a true blessing. Highly recommend them to help with fertility questions and treatments ❤️
The staff was always so welcoming and Dr. Adams really took the time to get to know our situation, explain our options and answer any questions we had. I didn’t feel pressured to do anything I didn’t want to and they respected me and my husband throughout the entire process. We are now 8 weeks pregnant and I was just released to my OB. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Adams and the clinic team!
The FCSA team is wonderful. We had our first successful pregnancy with them and had two beautiful children and we just completed our last treatment with them and currently pregnant again. The front desk is quick to answer any questions, as are the nurses who are patient and caring. All of the doctors seem genuinely interested and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes and give advice accordingly while still taking into account the wishes of the patients. We had the most experience with Drs. Neil, Retzloff and Adams who always demonstrated a caring attitude and excellent bedside manner. They are worth the drive, we traveled 45 min for appointments for our first pregnancy and for our second pregnancy we traveled 2 hrs one way. They do work with patients to provide out of town orders, but the care received is no less than if you were to be right there in the office with them. This team has truly been an amazing blessing for our family and we are forever grateful! We would recommend them for anyone!
I struggled to get pregnant for 2 years. I had my first consultation in March 2022 and was pregnant by July 2022. Every single staff member that I interacted with made me feel so comfortable. Appointments always went quick and smoothly! They made what could have been such a difficult time for me and my husband feel so easy. I could not recommend them enough!
This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write. I feel that people should know what they are getting into with FCSA. They provide effective services (achieved pregnancy after 4 rounds) but this is a money making business with very little customer service or compassion. I saw a doctor on my 1st visit and the visits before I was having a procedure, otherwise I saw only nurses. They deliver the information as fast as possible before trying to run out the door to their next patient. It seemed to be a great inconvenience when I asked questions. I know they are busy and all of their clients are women pumped full of hormones but speaking as a nurse myself, if I was as compassion fatigued as these nurses seem to be, I would find another job. A few times my medication orders to the online pharmacy were missing something time sensitive and if I hadn’t double checked them I wouldn’t have been able to fulfill the treatment plan I paid $20k for. In my first med order Nora ordered me $3,000 worth of progesterone suppositories that I would never need (only used for fresh IVF cycles- not frozen, which I didn’t know at the time). A simple review of my chart would’ve told her that I was only doing frozen cycles. I got zero explanation on how to mix medications or give my shots. Luckily I didn’t need it but good luck if you don’t work in the medical field! One day I was coming in for a pregnancy test which I was fairly certain was negative and the nurse (Kris I think) told me I “should really try to be more optimistic because the result could be positive”. She obviously does not know what its like to have had 50 negative test results. For my last blood drawn pregnancy test (7:30am) I was told that they should call with results within a couple hours. As usual, 3:30 (closing time) rolled around and no call. I called the office to try to speak to someone before they closed and was told that they had a lot of calls to make and I “needed to be more patient”. The past 3 years of my life had revolved around this phone call and it often happened that they forgot to call with results.Dr. Retzloff was a nice, helpful doctor until I started having problems during early pregnancy which were so severe that I had to go to the ER and couldn’t work. I am a young, healthy, physically fit person with no medical problems. The only thing that had changed since symptom onset (heartrate in the 160’s at rest and shortness of breath after speaking only a few sentences) was the medication he prescribed and the pregnancy. While in the ER with unstable vital signs, I called the office multiple times to see if Dr. Retzloff could offer any insight into what was going on. His nurse said she delivered the message and seemed surprised that he hadn’t returned our calls. Hours later when we finally got ahold of him he would not listen to my symptoms or give us the time of day. He simply said there is no way that what I am experiencing is related to the pregnancy or medication he prescribed and hung up. He is more concerned about his potential liability than caring for his patients. As long as you don’t have any unforeseen problems I’m sure you will have a fine experience. He ended up agreeing to decrease my medication dose, my problems resolved within a few days and I was able to return to work. After a quick search I found credible medical literature supporting I am not the only person to experience these side effects from progesterone. The phlebotomy tech only missed 1 of the probably 100 draws I had done. Karen the ultrasound tech was one of the few people I encountered in the clinic that seemed to genuinely care about her patients. The billing dept was always helpful and respectful.
My husband and I conceived our baby here after several years of infertility and cancer on my part. We loved working with Dr. Neal and had a good but brief experience with Dr. retzloff as well. Dr. Neal is incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us so much of his time and even delayed other appointments just to talk to us. He seemed genuinely happy for us when we conceived. The IVF process is very expensive and difficult emotionally and physically but so worth it. My baby boy Calvin is now 3 months and the absolute light of my life. I will always have fond memories of the staff at this place, without them I would not have my baby. Thank you all!
I loved my experience with Fertility Center of San Antonio! They are very thorough and someone is always available to answer questions. Even if you call and the nurses aren’t immediately available to answer your question they always call back within an appropriate timeframe. They are LGBTQ friendly as well! All the doctors I encountered were all very informative and never rushed me out. Definitely recommend
Was interested in becoming a new patient but the lady on the phone (customer service I’m assuming) sounded very cold, rushed and unsympathetic…like I was discussing transferring money into a bank or something. These are peoples hopes and dreams your dealing with…put some softness, sympathy and sincerity in your tone of voice please!!Called back to complain about this and was told the supervisor Evelyn would call me back. She never did.Definitely won’t choose this clinic!!
Before coming to Fertility Center of San Antonio I had two early miscarriages. As soon as I became pregnant a third time they immediately brought me in to check my hormone levels. They discovered that my progesterone and estrogen levels were low and immediately started me on medications to help boost my hormone levels to prevent a miscarriage. I am now 11 weeks 6 days, further than I have ever been in a pregnancy. The baby is growing and heart beating. I officially graduated from their service and will be returning to my regular ob/gyn this week for the remainder of my pregnancy. I am so thankful for how Fertility Center of San Antonio helped me to prevent another miscarriage. Not only were they used by the Lord to prevent a miscarriage, but the staff and doctors are very caring and kind. Every time I called with a question they called me back right away and they always took the time to answer my questions and provide me with information about my pregnancy. Thank you Fertility Center of San Antonio! I highly recommend this practice to anyone that is experiencing fertility issues.
Dr Retzloff has followed us throughout our whole journey and has been beyond amazing! He is kind, caring, personable and truly a blessing to my husband and me! Fertility issues are so overwhelming and Dr. Retzloff and his staff have made the whole process so much better! Everyone who works in the facility is kind and patient! They all know you by name while you’re walking down the hall and make it a point to say hello and see how you’re doing! The nursing staff is so great and help to make sure the craziness with schedules is easier to follow and are always ready to help! The financial and registration ladies always get you back so quick and make sure you are using the resources available to you! The lab staff is patient and have the most gentle hands! I couldn’t give this office enough stars or say enough to thank them all for everything they have done and continue to do for me! I feel as though we have all become family!
I loved this clinic. They were so caring and helpful. They are on top of bloodwork or concerns you have. Always easy to speak with and if you sent a message, they replied within 24 hours. The only thing is one of the ultrasound techs, not super friendly. Other than that, great staff. When we have our second child, we will be contacting them for help! Thanks again for making the first 11 weeks stress free-ish!!!
I shared this on yelp last year and I meant to share it on Google as well! We visited Dr. Retzloff after our twins were born and I wondered if he would recognize us (it had been nearly a year!) and he did. I actually saw through the window the nurse tell him who came to visit and saw his face light up. That just goes to show how much he cares about his patients! He doesnt forget them, even after theyve finished at the clinic. Wonderful doctor!3/24/2016My husband and I have had the best experience working with the doctors, nurses and staff members at this office. Dr. Retzloff is our main doctor and I cant even express how fantastic he is! He really takes the time to listen to all of your questions and take your concerns seriously. During our initial consult appointment, he and the other staff members spent over 3 hours with us going through our history, doing an exam, and talking through all the options. Dr. Retzloff went over my medical history page by page (I have a long medical history) to make sure he didnt miss anything. We had moved from California and I was so sad to leave my other fertility clinic, so it was such a relief to find this center! We have gone through both IUIs and the IVF process with this clinic and had a great experience all around. Ive been able to meet all of the nurses and they are all so wonderful! So warm and friendly, you can tell they really care about their patients. Dr. Martin did our egg retrieval and he did a fantastic job. Dr. Neal also stopped in to meet the new patients and he was very friendly. We even met the embryologist, Dr. Pool and you can tell he is passionate about the work he does. Also, the finance team is very upfront about the costs, when youll need to pay, and researching what your insurance will/wont cover. We all know infertility treatments are costly, so this was refreshing to know ahead of time. Last of all, depending on your appointment you will have to wait. The afternoon appointments always run late, Mondays mornings are slammed and other morning appointments are normally on time. For all of my IVF appointments, Id grab the earliest morning appointment and they always had me in and out. I was never late for work, it was wonderful!
Please I warn you, Stay away! This place is a money grab. They Charge 185.00 for a consolation to give you basic information that can be researched easily from google. Then they dont mention that you will be charged another 140.00 for a mandatory re-consolation that basically is the doctor telling you the results of the test you take (blood work..etc) before the initial process of even getting started. Anytime you need to cancel an appointment if you dont do it within 24 hours before the scheduled appointment there will be a 50.00 no show fee applied to your account.Okay fine no biggie, but what really made this place earn its 1 star review is after being on the phone with the doctor and the nurse (yes a phone consolation for 185.00) and going over all the details and time frames for the entire procedure, when we went to try and schedule an appointment to get test done, we were told it would take 2 months to get the results of the test now instead of a couple of weeks thus rendering us unable to start the process on the approximate given timeline. Once the we get the test results after 2 months then we would have to wait another 2 months to then potentially start the process. This was not what we were told in the beginning. The inconsistency and surprise charges is already a red flag. Some other reviews mention this as well. They werent lying. To add the cherry on top, the customer service is horrible. These women that work the front desk or the billing department always had an attitude when we had questions and they played phone tag, constantly passing the phone between each other because they dont go over that, we only cover this portion. Had a phone call where i got transferred 6 times between 3 different departments.
Dr. Neal has been amazing. I came in after many tests that seemed to find nothing wrong with me. He never made me feel crazy as other doctors have. I had surgery this week and Im very optimistic about my recovery. He is a very pleasant doctor. Nurse carol did a fantastic job explaining the sonogram to me. Im am so pleased with their customer service and they seem very organized.
The Fertility Center of SA has the most caring, compassionate and professional staff I have ever met. Dr. Retzloff gave top notch care and I knew from the start I was in good hands. They truly care about helping you through the fertility process. Even if my journey had not ended in pregnancy, I would not hesitate to recommend FCofSA. My husband and I plan on going back in a few years to try for a second pregnancy. Truly superior service that cant be beat.
I don’t recommend this place. The Dr. that I saw was pushy about IVF after I said multiple times that I preferred to get a tubal reversal & would take my chances at repairing what’s left of my tubes. The Dr. said there’s a chance that I wouldn’t be able to conceive after a tubal reversal, & I replied with: I understand that but I would prefer a tubal reversal & want to salvage what’s left of my tubes. Period. Shouldn’t be an issue. The Dr. than gaslights me & says “you’re not a good candidate for a reversal because you’re overweight”. So, your office will push IVF & I would end up pregnant & gain weight, but yet you won’t do a reversal cause I’m overweight? It’s obvious this office is just about money over what the patient wants.
I have been coming here as a monitoring patient since 2017. Never have I had any issues until today, when there front desk insurance verifier was talking about another patient that they wanted her to verify insurance and she couldn’t so that was enough they would have to do it themself. Not in a nice way either. Then she pulls my paper and unprofessionally says I hate when they don’t write out there last name like seriously Amber who write your name legible where I can read it, I’m tired of people doing this. I can hear everything she is complaining about. All the “paying” patients she talks about to other co workers. Then I got upset and the dr comes out tells me not to be yelling that there patients In there. Oh and do they want to know that Alexis Arroyo is saying private things about them where other patients can hear. Very unprofessional of them. And don’t come here if your a monitoring patient they will treat you different.
I went in January for a consultation with Dr. Martin after 3 years of trying and the loss of my right Fallopian tube due to a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. He was very informative and helpful. We began the process (after a few tests) and I was pregnant with twins by March. I am now 22 weeks pregnant with a girl and a boy!!Ive seen all the doctors (Dr. Neal, Dr. Retzloff, Dr. Martin) at this office for different procedures and I think theyre all amazing. The staff was always wonderful and I never had any issues getting ahold of a nurse for any questions I had. Im forever grateful to this office and their doctors.I also want to add that the majority of my appointments were first thing in the morning and I rarely had to wait. I did have to wait a bit on my last two appointments, but Id rather wait on doctors, nurses or sonographers that take their time with each patient. They are serious about what they do and I have NEVER felt as if they were only in this for the money. The phlebotomist is also amazing. Absolutely love her!!!
Last year at the Resolve Walk my husband and I won a round of IVF that was donated by FCSA. We had our first appointment within 2 weeks of the walk & Dr. Neal sat with us went over everything & answered all questions that we had. He was so patient & explained everything very well. Throughout our IVF experience at FCSA everyone was kind and caring. They were willing to answer all questions and walk us through the process. We had previous experiences at another clinic and were so happy with the individualized care we received at FCSA. We were blessed with a baby boy from FCSA. We would highly recommend FCSA to anyone that is needing fertility care. Thank you so much to everyone at FCSA for helping us grow our family!
Im not even sure where to begin, because I cant even describe how grateful I am to Dr. Neal. After four years with another doctor, we came to him, with heavy hearts and low expectations, for a consult. I immediately felt like FINALLY everything would be okay. I knew a baby wasnt promised, but I also knew I was absolutely in the best hands possible. He became a friend to me. I trust him with my whole life. I trusted him with the life Id dreamt of having. After a devastating loss, which he took my hands in his and sincerely told me how sorry he was, we went on to conceive Grace and then, three years later, our Cooper.Dr. Neal will be a member of my family and part of my prayers for as long as I live. The nurses are amazing, the staff is phenomenal. FCSA is the best of the best.Im forever thankful and so very, very blessed.
I had one initial appointment at this clinic. I was told multiple times that the price I paid would cover an ultrasound AND bloodwork. Several weeks later, I received a bill from the lab where the bloodwork was sent. When I called the clinic back to ask about the bill, they said no one would have told you that. I know that is what I was told, because that is one reason why I chose this clinic in the first place. Make sure to get anything they tell you about costs and procedures ahead of time in writing, record the date, and name of the person you talked to. I wish I had done this.
I started everything for Invocell in march I did everything shots etc and I was really hoping to get pregnant but unfortunately I got the call that it came back negative and they just told me to stop taking the shots & pills . They didn’t even ask would you like to do a other IVF route. And just like that they dropped me. 😩 so I’m probably gonna go to a Doctor to reconnect my tubes and Do more research..
As someone previously commented they definitely only care about money. I called simply to get a price range and the receptionist who I spoke with Diane I believe, couldn’t wait to say they don’t offer payment plans & payment it due in full. I work in the medical field, so it’s important even if you’re front desk staff to have compassion. And one thing I’ve always implemented is giving people options which she didn’t do. She flat out didn’t wait for me to finish talking before giving a hard price & no options. That rubbed me the wrong way definitely so I may look somewhere else.
I will start this review by saying that I did get pregnant at FCSA, so my review is not based on disappointment at not being successful getting pregnant. I would not ever recommend this place to anybody. I rarely saw an actual doctor, I only saw nurses, and it was a different nurse every time. They can be rude and dismissive and they dont really treat you like a person but another number. The way they do their billing is really suspect, they package everything so that even if your insurance would cover parts of it, they wont because FCSA refuses to itemize anything. I really felt trapped there after spending so long with them I didnt want to start over somewhere else, so I stayed. Please go somewhere else before this place, unless you dont mind spending 20 grand to be seen by a bunch of nurses and ultrasound techs.
This was our first visit to a specialist and now that we went to see another one to get another opinion I can see that this clinic was not very caring. We saw Dr. Neal and his bedside manner is lacking big time!!! He offended me very deeply! With the price that we paid I feel like they could have been more caring. There are so many workers you get bounced around a lot and have to tell your story over and over again. Which can be hard cause this is emotional enough already. If you like the cut and dry impersonal then this is the place for you. Give them your money, drop your pants and hope for the best!
Thank you Dr. Neal and Dr. Martin - because of you I now have two beautiful twin girls who are nearly two months old.Im not really sure where the bad reviews come from, honestly I went to a different fertility clinic here in San Antonio before coming here and I sincerely felt like I was cared about by EVERYONE from the person checking me in down to the nurses and ultrasound techs. The other fertility center tried to tell me they didnt take insurance and would need me to pay the $5000 for IVF upfront even though my insurance would pay for it, and even if I paid out of pocket that insurance probably wouldnt reimburse me. I never had any problems with the billing staff or the front office while attending.Because my husband is an RN, Im probably more critical of the care I receive at different clinics and this was one of the best clinics Ive been to. We are moving out of state, and Ive decided if I ever go through IVF again it will be here. When I found out I was pregnant I felt like the nurses TRULY cared. They remembered me, remembered my name, and made me feel like they truly cared.Yes, you do see a Nurse when you go to your appointment but the Dr always looks at your charts to decide what the next route is - and most of the time I saw Dr. Neal during my appointment, it was more rare that I didnt see him. And, to say he only deals with the easy cases? I would disagree. I had endometriosis. We were a more difficult case due to I was 27 and because I had surgery for endo there was no real reason why we werent getting pregnant.I got pregnant with 1 round of IVF with ICSI after having failed tons of rounds of Clomid with timed intercourse, and 3 iuis.
Very professional. Got an appointment in less than a week, office visits included very little waiting, every step of the IVF process was streamlined for efficiency. Each couple get their own nurse, who communicates with you in an efficient manner (via phone or email). The nurses are the highlight of the center; they are very kind, and answer your questions immediately.
I had high hopes with this place but was sadly disappointed... the doctor wasnt very nice or really seemed to care about your existence she was very condescending at one point during the consultation she took my ID looked at it and said straight to my face oh this is a pretty picture of you it must have been taking in your thinner days .... I initially went in for a tubal reversal consultation and was soon being pressured into doing IVF which I knew I didnt want to but I guess more money for them then why not. I still havent been contacted about my test result and that was 3 weeks ago. They wanted my husband to have test done as well (at extra cost of course) but apparently theres only one person who makes these appointments and I havent been able to get ahold of her for a few days... I was also told 3 different prices for the tubal reversal and when I brought it up I was looked at like I ran over someones dog like I was accusing them of something.... i left in tears crying to my husband the whole way home needless to say well be taking our buisness to Houston
Over two years ago, when I first started my fertility journey, I initially became a patient at another facility in town. (RMA). After four unsuccessful IUIs, I took one year off, and when I decided I was ready to start fertility treatments again, I decided to consider changing fertility centers. (Primarily because I felt that although the staff at the other facility had been friendly, it was almost a fake friendly, and that with exception to Dr. Brown, the physicians at RMA were uninvolved and often hurried. I work in health care, so I get it… but as a patient, I felt that communication there had really been subpar.) However, despite my frustrations with RMA, I was not completely committed to the change. I made my appointment at FCSA as a trial. So when I got to the waiting room and waited for quite some time I whispered to my husband, strike one. I also contemplated a strike two because unlike RMA (which was extremely frou frou), the facility in which FCSA is housed is older, less modern, and frankly not as inviting. But then when we were brought into an office to meet with Dr Martin, and it was a home run!! He was so kind and personable. He made us feel like people, not numbers or patients without names. He spent an hour with us, answering questions, explaining the complexities of fertility. Again, I work in health care, and I have never known a physician to spend that much time with any patient. Ever. And it made our wait (the first strike acceptable! If waiting happens because the docs are spending quality time with the patients, and Ill get the same treatment when I get to have their attention, Im okay with it!) At our first place, when my (engineer) husband had LOTS of questions, we were offered a fast-paced power-point that used medical terminology and lingo that left him feeling very out of the loop. Dr. Martin didnt have a powerpoint, but he pulled out a piece of paper and began to draw on it, explaining different biological processes - in very simple, easy to follow terms. My husband felt SO included and relieved to have a better understanding of the challenges we face. We decided we wanted to wait about two more months before starting the IVF process, but they went ahead and gave us all of the things we would need when we did decide to get started… including a little booklet that explained various fertility treatments, options, terminologies, etc. etc. We are now a couple of weeks into our IVF cycle, and I couldnt be more pleased. Ive found the communication during this process at Fertility Center of SA to be so much better than the communications I had ever before at the previous facility. I am so happy with my choice, and I am confident that I am in great hands!!
My husband and I began our journey with this amazing staff in Mar 2016. From the very first visit to the last In Dec 2016, we felt apart of their family, each nurse, staff and Dr showed compassion every time we walked in. A cheery hello to that sad Im sorry, we were never alone. We are overjoyed to say, after 5yrs of trying science and the amazing staff of FCSA was able to give us our family. Our twins are now 6mo old and the holidays just got a whole lot brighter!!!! Thank you FCSA!!! You will always be apart of our family too!!
Having infertility is a heavyhearted burden to carry when you have tried everything. My husband and I worked very hard to prepare ourselves for a family. I knew I might have some infertility issues because I have PCOS(my body doesnt ovulate normally). After seeing many specialist a friend referred me to FCSA. At the first meeting the doctors were very impressive. My health was a priority and because of my diagnosis they were very careful to choose the right treatment for me. I was educated on the process they chose for me, which was IVF. Once we went through all the paperwork and medical testing it was GO time. The nurses were so informative, nurturing and their was always someone to call after hours to make sure we were doing everything right. God and FCSA gave me the most brilliant, vivacious and beautiful baby girl. I guess having her kicked my body into fertility mode. 1 year and 2 weeks after we had our daughter, our son was born through no treatments. I highly recommend this center for their excellence in technology, concern about the health of their patients and their patience in explaining every step. It can be so overwhelming and the entire clinic understands that. I am forever grateful for the safety and precautions they took and my nine year old daughter!
I had a Tubal ligation reversal on February 2019 done by Dr Retzloff after 10 years of my original tubal ligation. I had a great experience from beginning to end. Im currently pregnant and due on December 2019 so yes it worked and fast.. I just wanted to share my awesome experience with the Fertility center of San Antonio ..Thank you so much Dr Retzloff for everything..
After several fertility treatments we conceived our beautiful baby girl Sofia. I can not thank the nurses, the doctors and all the medical staff for their care and compassion. Every questioned was always answered, everything was fully explained and understood. I highly recommend this clinic and the group of Doctors. Thank you FCofSA!
The worst experience. It was scary and very uncomfortable place before and after surgery. Please go with your instincts I was very desperate; which is the reason why I ignored mine. My tubal reversal still has not been a success. Also, if you have surgery choose to be the first patient. I was second and it took me forever to get started. Being that I went in at 11 am. Closing time came and I was barely waking up. They were rushing me out. I literally had them getting me dressed as soon as I woke up (not fully awake). I had no idea I was having a C-section to have my tubes untied. For 2 weeks or so after surgery I had difficult breathing. I was told to go to the ER. Eventually my problem wasnt as bad anymore however, my breathing never returned to normal.
I wanted to write this review in rebuttal to the horrible, distasteful reviews I have read. My husband and I tried for 5 years to have a baby. Prior to being highly referred to this fertility center by multiple couples, I underwent 2 surgeries and 9 IUI’s. My husband and I were so heartbroken and had been on an emotional roller coaster for almost 4 years before we walked into their office. The physicians, nurses, and office staff always greeted us with a smile and multiple hugs. During the first IVF cycle, my husband and I were so afraid we were going to “do something wrong” with the medications. We, like many, were at our “wits end”. I cannot even begin to count the number of times I called the nurses for questions. They were so sweet, helpful, and timely. I wound up having 4 eggs. Two were abnormal and two were immature. You could tell Dr. Neil and his staff was genuinely upset for us and did not know how to tell me that my chances of having a biological child with my husband were very, very slim. Upon our request, Dr. Neil supported us in our decision to do a 2nd IVF. During the second IVF, my ovaries were not responding to the medications. Dr. Neil could have stopped the process; however, due to my husband’s faith that God was going to give us a child, Dr. Neal agreed to continue. God gave Dr. Neil and his amazing staff the skills to give us a baby boy! It was a very tough first trimester and this staff took excellent care of me and our son. I even spent an entire day at their office being metabolized with the nurses constantly checking on me and my husband. This is just one example of how much theses doctors and nurses care for their patients.Three months after we had our miracle baby, the entire office spent their lunch hour with us! It was so amazing to see the joy in their faces when they held our son! We got video and group photos. They are a huge part of our lives and every time we look at our son, we realize how blessed we are to have been referred to the Fertility Center of San Antonio. We are going back in January per their request and even if they did not request it, we would go back on our own.The problem lies when couples are at their “wits end” and it is the last resort to having a biological child. Couples expect the doctors to be miracle workers. They are not miracle workers but they are specialists and nurses who want nothing more than to see you have a child. It is not up to them who has a child and who does not. It is up to God.
My sister and I spoke to them in January to schedule a donor ivf where she would be donating eggs to me. She went in and saw a doc and everything and we made plans for March. Since then, the administrator has not returned our calls about pre auth. I left multiple voice mails and emailed her and the main email. What was supposed to be a possibly life changing experience has been nothing but a disappointment. If someone from the office actually calls me back I’ll remove this reviewHi. Still waiting for a call back 👋. Or a response. Thanks!
We recently had our tubal reversal in October, the whole process was amazing. The staff, the doctors were sooo amazing and positive through the whole journey! I am currently pregnant! Highly recommend
The physician I worked with was dismissive of me even though I told her I was in severe pain because of an ovarian cyst the size of a large grape fruit ( ultrasound to prove it ) . Don’t go here unless your needing to pay thousands of dollars for ivf, and your body is already set for the process. Probably not the place for you if this is the beginning of your journey In infertility.
I was a patient of this practice for an FET after doing IVF at BAMC both in which failed. However this is not why I dont like this place. First when you go in for your apt you will wait an hour after your sch. apt to be seen. When you bring this up to the receptionist said this is normal. I felt like they only care about your money and not you. Also, I only saw the doctor at the first visit and then for the FET. In addition to all the above when you call them for questions they make you feel like you are bothering you.
My husband and I had been to 2 other fertility clinics and had been unsuccessful after many attempts of ovulation induction and 5 attempts of IUI. Dr. Neal took the time to explain our fertility issues with us. He used his expertise and skills to create a personalized treatment plan. He educated us about the steps involved in IVF from ovarian stimulation to embryo transfer and immediately started a course of action to help us have a family. After our 1st cycle of IVF with ICSI in 2006, we conceived a beautiful baby boy. After our 2nd cycle of IVF with ICSI in 2008, we conceived an adorable baby girl and were able to freeze 2 embryos. We went back for an embryo transfer in 2012 and to our surprise, we conceived fraternal twin boys. The front office and billing staff is friendly and polite. The nursing staff was very supportive and provided guidance along the way. They are caring, knowledgeable and addressed all my questions and concerns. The lab staff and embryologist use the most advanced treatment options. They were able to select a single sperm and inject it into a single egg to conceive each one of our children. WOW!We have highly recommended Dr. Gregory Neal and the Fertility Center of San Antonio to our friends and we will continue to do so. They are proof that with the right medical team, your dream of having a family can come true!
I LOVE the Fertility Center of San Antonio. Very professional, caring people starting from the receptionists all the way up to the doctors. I thank God for them everyday when I look at my baby boy. Bless them always.
Everyone at Fertility Center of San Antonio was extremely helpful, caring, and professional. My husband and I were pleased with the entire process. We are so thankful for their assistance in giving us our little miracle baby!! #blessed
They know how to grow babies and have a high success rate ive been told. However, their customer service and care is horrible. They run us through there like cattle. -- What? You have a question? (Sigh and roll eyes) I will have to call a nurse and put you in another room to wait... again. --- What? You feel like maybe the meds are making you crazy? Oh. Would you like to speak to our psychologist? (No, id like for someone to double check my dosage and also check my levels! --- At one visit, the girl was so rude, i left in tears before they could draw blood to run labs... and not one person followed up with me. No phone call. No email. Nothing. You see, it is kind of like shopping for a cell phone. Everyone is so kind and excited, but once you sign that contact, it all disappears. Long wait times. Hidden charges show up. They give you the runaround.
Absolutely amazing and knowledgeable staff; infertility can be such a daunting disease to deal with but FCSA always went above and beyond to care about me as a person not just as a patient. The expertise of the doctors and nurses doesnt compare to anyone else around. FSCA is the best!I am so very blessed to have been able to conceive two beautiful baby boys with the help from the FSCA family! I am forever grateful!
My IVF baby just turned 17. I cannot thank Dr Martin and Dr Neal enough. Thru the years I have heard so many experiences of other people and it always confirmed we made the right choice with Fertility Center of San Antonio.
Horrible service. I called several times trying to get with the right person who could get me the information I need to schedule a proper appointment and they informed me she was always out of the office but would leave her messages to call me the next day(s). I would never receive any callbacks and eventually was told they would escalate to their front office manager who would get in touch with me to arrange my appointment. Guess who still never reached out? I went ahead to another establishment.
Dr.retzloff is a very professional dr. When i went for my HSG i was super stressed and scared cuz of what i saw on youtube about this procedure ..dr.retzloff was amazing he explained every step before he did it and told what im gonna feel ..it was smooth with minor discomfort procedure and took 10 min or less .Then he told me my result and gave the time i needed to ask anything i want to know .and the staff there are very kind and friendly they try to make things easier for u .Thank u for making this experiance a good one .
I just want to say thank you for the wonderful staff who worked with me.its been a long and emotional journey for me and my husband to get pregnant and with the help of Dr. Neil and the nurses, we succeeded with ivf on the 1st try. The staff was very caring and helpful.Thank you!
To be perfectly frank, (or dave for that matter) I had issues in the cup room. I didnt have an issue with ED, but knowing that the staff was waiting on me, didnt help. The seat was cracked from use, 🤢 and I didnt want to sit where other men sat. Maybe paper on the seat would help? Also the selections of dvds were lacking any and all curvy thick women. Im sure there are men that like skinny 18 year old girls, but not me. I didnt check the drawer below the seat with the magazines because of fear of sticky pages. So men, please come prepared with your own sites ready to play on your phone and do not rely on this selection of pornography.
Wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff. Everyone is SO caring and sweet. I highly recommend Dr Retzloff to anyone struggling to get pregnant. I can’t say enough good things about him and the nurses!
I appreciate Dr.Neal and his staff they are amazing and finally I got the answers I been needing for years very professional and fast visit the 2 and a half hour drive was definitely worth it.
This company is negligent they took notarized papers over an email and gave my sperm to a woman that took it to MexicoWhen I ask them if they new what they did they said they follow company policy well let me tell you their sistem dont work. Anybody can still your sperm or whatever you have there. Cause they dont care to check the paper work or to take it in person they will accept it fake notarized papers over emailWhen I ask them to help me get it back, they told they dont know where is at and they cant do anything about it. Lies they send it to Mexico auctualy they let fairfax in Austin send itAnd then they gave me a number to call with any concerns, their lawyer number. Basically telling me deal with it.
This is an exert from the letter I wrote to the management after the experience my wife and I had here. What you fail to see is that these wombs you so diligently attempt to fill have people attached to them. Hearts. Souls. Curious minds. All neglected in favor of efficient impregnation. Your mission statement uses the words “supportive” and “care giving” but we experienced neither.I don’t write this for you to help my wife. I don’t trust you to do so. But as is your practice, you will continue to see a great many families in the future. I would be appalled if even one of them was hurt by you in the way you hurt my family.
This place truly is a blessing. The staff here feels like family and truly cared about my health and my baby’s! Leaving was bittersweet but it’s being done with a bun in the oven due to their help!
I can assure every woman that she will get pregnant. This team is the best, very knowledgeable, you cannot go wrong with them, they are the best in all San Antonio. I got pregnant from first trial. 😊🍼👧🏻.
I wanted to get another hsg test done since it’s been a year of doing natural therapies to heal and the lady I talked to was very rude and telling me I have to pay 158 to talk to the doctor and i can only get one if he recommends it. Definitely not giving this place any money after this.
It’s really bad experience, first they tell you chose your donor and when you do , they said we are sorry but the donor changes her mind , off course it happen when you are already in middle of your treatment and payed a big amount of money so no way to go except their mercy and sure they told you that we have eggs from other couples left after their successful procedure so what you to do but to accept and go with is option . After all this money and heart braking emotion you ending up with no baby and may be try again . Don’t fall for their lies and try some where else.
This place offers top notch care . Not only do they do great science and consider every option possible , they also truly care . Dr. Retzloff and the nurses that took care of us were always available to answer any questions and ease our minds which is one of the most important things to most ppl going through this process.
Fertility Center has the top doctors in SA. The process is expensive but worth it. Staff was always helpful and doctors are top notch.
Garbage billing department and they messed up my wifes cycle. Waste of time and money at this place do not use them.
Thank you for everything 9 years ago was a very delicate stage of our lives but thanks to the doctors and their staff at this clinic now we are blessed with a wonderful young man who we thank God every day for blessing us.
Thanks to this phenomenal staff, I have the most amazing kids. They made what was a heartbreaking part of life much easier to deal with. I will forever be grateful to them.
The doctors and staff were super friendly and helpful during our 1st IVF journey and our 2nd FET.

Wonderful service!
No compassion here at all. They just care about money.

If you have Medicaid do u have to pay something?
Rude, awful people.
I have struggled to get pregnant for 5 years and I underwent treatments, and then two artificial inseminations failed and they failed, it was really very sad every time the result came out negative, our last option was invitro insemination, and we did it on The first attempt failed, everything was so sad and stressful, but we entrusted ourselves to God and this good doctor who put my embryo in my well-being and my pregnancy was achieved, and my baby was a beautiful girl. Now she is 2 months old, I really have a lot to be thankful for. The doctors and nurses of this place treated us very well, especially the nurse Irene, Habigail, Evelin from the reception, they are beautiful and kind people, Thank you for making my dream of being a mother come true 🙏🥰💖
Excellent service I recommend it
