I had some concerns with my health since I am getting older and just wanted some face time with a doctor to advise me moving forward. It is unfair to say it was a long wait because how often does anyone get in to see the doctor the moment they walk in? That said, everyone was very kind, helpful, and extremely quick. Great visit!
Just amazing, quick, friendly, assessment was spot on and I got prescribed what helped me before. I actually went the other day for another issue. Just as great service & help to get better! This will be my go to for urgent care always. They are the best!!!
I received excellent care, and was so thankful the facility was close to my house. Caring staff and thorough Tests, lead me to the hospital for an immediate, life-saving, procedure…. for which I am so grateful!!
Always efficient, always heard even when I’m not clear with proper words to help get proper diagnoses. I’ve never left feeling as if i wasted seeking help. I’ve been cared for better than most others. Todd is an incredible physician.
Came in with a laceration to a finger, and the staff was very quick and thorough. The doctor made sure I was not in any pain and was very well skilled. The technician also did a wonderful job, especially administering Overall wonderful experience!!!
I came in for a UTI and was treated with antibiotics. I had a very good experience at this urgent care, The staff were very friendly and helpful, And the doctor took time with me to explain what I needed to do to feel better. All my questions were answered. I was very pleased that I did not have to wait long time to be seen..
Couldnt have been happier. I didnt have an appointment and yet I was seen within 30 minutes. Unfortunately I needed to have an xray and there wasnt a techncian working so had to go to SMIL today. Extra trip! But PA Brian Rush was amazing.
Dr Williams was the best! Very friendly, took her time and made sure I completely understood everything. Wish more Dr would be as caring as her. That’s how it should be. Nice old school treatment that made you feel important & heard. I’d give her 10 stars if that were possible.
My appt was at 7pm. I got there a couple minutes early. They checked me in and took my vitals right away. They addressed all of my concerns, sent my prescription to the pharmacy and I was walking to my car by 7:06pm. By far, the quickest and best experience Ive had at any urgent care, ever!
Fast and caring. I thought I had a stomach bug but turns out I had Covid for the first time. The staff were informative and provided meds and prescriptions to help my recovery. I highly recommend NextCare!
Worst care I’ve ever experienced in my 54yrs. Felt like a money grab vs care and concern. I’ve had the same insurance for 9yrs, they charged me saying my urgent care deductible wasn’t met. I’ve never been charged by any urgent care provider when using insurance. I questioned the cost and the charge, they said “it’s corporate policy” very rude and unprofessional. I’m literally at another UC provider writing this review (2days later) no charge.
I went to the Urgent Care clinic on a Friday morning in mid-March 2024. I was fortunate that there were not other patients in the waiting room. I was quickly taken to the back for triage, and then to an exam room. The staff informed me that the Physician Asst was with another patient and that there would be a wait before I was seen. The PA was excellent, he let me know what my diagnosis was and my options were for treatment. After I left and picked up my Rx, I had a question. When I called the office, they were able to get ahold of the PA who answered my question promptly. Everyone at the office was friendly and professional.
I made an appointment for my son here today last night And specifically put the reason for our visit that he needed an x-ray. We arrived for our appointment today and as soon as we walked in, they told us that there wasn’t an X-ray technician on duty today. I asked why they wouldn’t have called and let me know so I could have made an appointment elsewhere (he had already missed school this morning to come ) and they said it’s against their policy to call. Ridiculous.
Provided fast and great care today when I was so terribly sick and needed help. Really appreciate having this place so near my home and am thankful to the amazing staff, nurses and doctors.
2 virtual appts were good and then the 3rd to leave a urine sample was terrible. The office staff lost and didnt send in my sample. The 4th appt to give another sample was horrible. The person I saw should not be practicing medicine. No empathy for the patient. No bedside manner ZERO, COLD UNCARING AND RUDE.
This is the 2nd time I have had to go to this UrgentCare (NextCare). In both instances, the receptionist was quick on processing me in and a pleasure to deal with. Then, the nurse who greeted me was cordial and courteous. She efficiently took my height, weight, BP, Pulse, etc. and the details of my illness. (man, can she type fast!). Very good experience. Then PA Juan Miranda came into the room and did a thorough line of questioning, checked my chest/breathing, temperature, etc. and listened to my history of prior pneumonia and my concerns with my current upper respiratory problem. Bottom line this office has served me twice and in both instances the process and experience was terrific. I am coming back here in the future should I have the need!
I was able to make an appointment without a problem. Waited a short time for the nurse practitioner who was thorough & professional . She diagnosed my issue then prescribed medication.
Very efficient, friendly and helpful. The healthcare professional listened to me, offered suggestions, and we agreed on how to address my issue. Highly recommend, I would choose this location again.
Got me in fast for an infected finger — they treated it and got me out of there in less than 45 minutes. Very happy with the outcome.
I presented with a host of symptoms, bad sore throat, congestion, cough, 102 fever, body aches, etc, and was told “it’s probably just covid” - to which I replied, I’ve taken 10 Covid tests over the past three weeks since this has been going on, I don’t think it’s Covid. I had to re-mention that I had a fever a few weeks ago as well, in order to get the PA to consider some medicine. I was surprised he didn’t do any of the normal checks, like look in ears, listen to chest, feel my lymph nodes, or order a strep. Felt rather hasty. In the end, they prescribed me some antibiotics, but sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy. I didn’t have much wait, so that was nice.
Very pleased with the front desk, the nurse and the nurse practitioner. All were very nice. Not a long wait and the NP was very attentive and helpful.
Scheduled online this morning and was in at my appt time. My toddler had an ear infection while on vacation. I appreciated that they didn’t make me wait behind all the walk ins as my appt was for my 2 year old and she wouldn’t have been that patient. Mr Todd, the PA, was understanding and efficient. We were out in less than 20 min.
The doctor and care in general were excellent and the doctor advised me of things I hadn’t been told before, and that I needed to get to a wound care facility asap! Thank goodness I was there again!
The person at the desk was very helpful and patient, not just with our family but all patients. She made the experience of being a first time visitor much less stressful. The Provider, Dr. Treat was easy going and was sure to try to keep our nine month old at ease. This will be our go to urgent care.
Visit was very good and very professional staff. Very helpful and comforting.I would like to see about getting pain pills if possible however for elbow.Thank youTony
Very nice and helpful, but unfortunately 1hr after spending $225 copay, my nose started bleeding again and had to get into my ENT for another visit and more cautery.
Jasmine was kind and efficient. The doctor who came in was friendly and professional. It was quick and easy and I was so happy to find out what was wrong with me! Thanks so much!
Took my son in yesterday for respiratory issues. Jasmine was our nurse and Dan was our doctor. Everyone was excellent. I didn’t get the girl at the front’s name but she was great too! Thank you. Stephen already started getting a bit better. We will be back!
The receptionist was extremely non personable! Borderline rude!!! The FNP was nice as well as the nurse. The facility is sub par!
I wasn’t being seen but my girlfriend was , we came here because she started having an allergic reaction from her job. came in we got checked in and i was told i wasn’t able to go back there with her , weird but ok loll. and then we were told to put masks on??? but everyone else in here or that came in did not have to put on a mask?? i’m sorry but are you guys stupid allergic reactions are not contagious💀 the lady on the front desk was rude. then they called my girlfriend back, and my girlfriend had texted me saying that the lady was being rude to her. such as cutting her off when trying to tell her what’s going on and then when my girlfriend would ask a question the girl told her “i’m not the doctor, ask the doctor”. which there are many nicer ways to say that. if you’re going to be apart of ANY medical practice, the least you could do is be nice to people coming. clearly yall need a new staff that actually wanna do their jobs. because being rude to your patients not it. it’s sad. it’s pretty safe to say my girlfriend and i will not be returning this location. and it’s pretty safe to say if you guys are gonna hire people at least hire respectful ones. i’m from casa grande. and the nextcare in casa grande is 100x better than this one. not to mention when she was seen , the medical provider was rude to her as well. when she stated what she thought maybe the reaction was due to he said “well what does that have to do with anything” mind you she is a groomer at petsmart she could be having a reaction to a dog. but apparently that has nothing to do with anything🙄and refused to give her a doctors note BUT SHE NEEDS ONE FOR WORK! its absolutely ridiculous. i hate this place, and never coming back.
Obtaining an appointment on line was not overwhelming with paper. Did not wait long . Everyone friendly and efficient!
I’m from out of town and needed to see a doctor. He was great! I felt well taken care of and would recommend. One star because of the hour wait but things happen so I would still go back in the future.
Welcoming. Comforting . Todd very professional and pleasant. Koi was an excellent nurse. She took some blood hardly making a bruise which I was worried about.Very sweet. I left an important medical notebook somewhere and they were very happy to scout around for it inside and out.Best urgent care Ive been to.
Great experience. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and squeezed my little guy in just before they closed. That meant a lot to me as my son had a ton of ear pain. I know the staff wanted to go home after a long day but we were treated as though we were the first ones to arrive in the morning. Ryan was our healthcare provider and he was also very friendly and great with my son. Overall this was an easy and lovely experience. Thank you for your kindness at the end of what I’m sure was a very long day 😊
The nurse practitioner was very nice and he checked my throat, glands and lungs and all is ok. I wish he would have checked my eyes as I thought it was possible that I might have pink eye. He looked at them real quickly but didn’t use his instrument. Everything else was fine about my visit.
I give one star only because the front counter person on a visit before this one misspelled my name and instead of correcting her error created a 2nd profile and didn’t seem concerned at all about fixing it. And today I left my phone at home and I explained this to her(same person) and she still had me go out of the NextCare office and sit in the buildings lobby which I had no problem doing. The problem came when it was my turn to be seen and the front clerk didn’t come and get me. I sat there for 20 something minutes more than I should have. I finally went back to NextCare to see what was going on only to discover because they tried to call me instead of coming to get me they moved on to seeing other walk in patients. I don’t blame the medical staff. This poor service falls on the front counter clerk. She stated to me we aren’t allowed to leave the office. They why send me out the office where you know you aren’t coming to get me? Someone please explain your policy when people don’t have their phones. And I love your sign about not tolerating rudeness. How about another sign where you promise to offer basic customer service. Again Medical staff is and has always been amazing. 10 stars to them.
Booked here because website said there was no wait. Arrived at 9:40am there is 0 patients ahead of me and I have been sitting here an hour already. All I hear is gossiping in the back
The facility was quite nice and very clean. The people were both friendly and helpful. And my quick and efficient visit with the doctor produced a quick diagnosis and medication that has already begun to relieve my symptoms.
I was a Medical Lieutenant for the fire department and at 60 I have seen my fair share of care. I am telling you that this one is a keeper. (told him to open his own practice) I will know if you do not show this review to him and then that will be on you. Pin point questions, hears the patient concerns, discusses the best treatment options, and makes them aware of their needs and situation. He makes recommendations and care about results. You have found a diamond in the rough and should know or.
Online shows a wait time of 1 minute. I called to verify and just wanted to know approximate wait time. They won’t tell you. I asked for a ballpark. Less than 30 more than an hour? Will not tell you. Right off the bat the customer service is a zero. Why bother experiencing additional stupid rules. We will just go to the clinic 2 minutes down the road that said the wait was approximately 30 minutes
Impossible to call clinic and talk to someone. They kept me outside of the waiting area like a animal. I ask for flu test and at the end I received flu, covid and one more. I was force to pay for those tests. My whole body is hurting and doctor said no prescription. After all he prescribe me Cough Syrup, WOW i am shocked, he must really good. Front desk woman when she was taking payment, because terminal was not working used my credit card like her own. It is against the law. I would never recommended to anyone.
Friendly staff and very helpful. The PA completed the physical quickly and efficiently.
The nurse practitioner was outstanding. Always professional and very skilled solved the problem immediately.
The PA-C, Lauren Spano, was very nice, efficient, and fast. The front desk and MA were also very friendly, fast, and informative. I took my son there for a sports physical and it was a seamless, fast affordable process. Thank you.
Everyone was very friendly and polite. It was my first time in a doctors office in over 20 years! Thank you all
Don’t waste your time on this place. Last time they were still requiring masks. And this time I had a scheduled apt time. Filled out all the paperwork ahead of time yet still sat there for 45 min. They took someone ahead of me who was a walk in. Why have apt times and make people wait an excessive amount of time. There were 3 people not doing much and let me tell you how exciting their personalities were. It almost blew me away with customer service (insert eye roll).
Wonderful staff, very supportive. I did not feel rushed and the staff took the time to listen, after asking me about my symptoms.
It was a good experience. The only down side was that I had booked an appointment online knowing that I would be seen immediately as they had so many available time slots, but when I got there, they said that it’ll be over an hour wait because they were under staffed. Which was fine. I waited and they finally got to me after an hour and a half wait. The clinical specialist that took my vitals was so sweet. She was very pleasant. And the nurse practitioner was also very nice. Answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I definitely recommend this place. Just keep in mind that you might be waiting for a while. But I think it was worth it.
Excellent place to go very nice staff and they go the extra mile to see your well taken care of even after you leave their office
A great doctor and great staff. I was in and out fast, which is what mattered most.
I googled the closest urgent care from home and I am so glad I chose this place. The female at the front was super sweet and assured me someone would come right out to see me. I waited maybe 2 minutes and the nurse asked what was going on and it felt like she was genuinely concerned which was just so nice. The doctor then came in right away, listened to my breathing and got me some prescriptions right away. I was in and out in literally 30 minutes total and my prescriptions were ready as soon as I arrived at the pharmacy. It was such a great experience and I’m so appreciative of the care I received. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs fast and urgent care
I will definitely be going here for any urgent care needs. The staff was friendly and the doctor was super helpful. I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. I made an appointment from my phone an hour prior to coming in. 10/10 recommend
Unfortunately I had to delete my 5 star review from my great experience with Charlene. I own a trucking company and send my drivers here for DOT Physicals. I called at around noon today to make an appointment as a repeat customer. The man who answered informed me there is a long wait so I requested an appointment. He directed me to go online and make one. When I asked why he couldnt make an appointment for me, hence the reason I made the call, he replied Im busy and Id like to you utilize your resources. I was driving and wanted to make an appointment via phone call. This guy put me on hold after I was trying to explain. He never came back from hold and I eventually hung up. I will be going elsewhere for my companies needs. What a moron!!!
While it’s hard to be enthusiastic about Urgent care I have had several good experiences here. On this visit, I was a walk in but didn’t have to wait too long. The medical staff listened to my symptoms and history and provided me with a referral and a back up plan in case the referral doesn’t show anything. They were efficient and helpful. I definitely recommend if you need a visit asap and can’t wait for your primary doctor.
Next Care was able to get us in within the hour. My daughter had a thorn in her foot and they were very sweet in dealing with her and was able to get it out very quickly!
My 85 year old father was visiting and came down with a cough/cold. Both the nurse and doctor were kind, informative and spoke slowly and clearly for an older person to understand - even though everyone was wearing a mask.
I had the most wonderful visit and care today. I booked online and was seen in adequate time. I will always consider Next Care Urgent Care before my regular PC and the ER! I highly recommend this location! All of the staff were very nice and made my experience very comfortable!
I have been using NextCare for years in a medical pinch or problem and can’t get to my pcp for myself or my kids.Nextcare has always been good experience with excellent medical professionals. But this last year they have seemed increasingly user friendly and efficient. Appointment availability. Get in and out while feeling heard, medically evaluated and treated. Quick online paperwork but option for paperwork on arrival that is more comfortable for my elderly mother. I usually go to Mesa Power & Brown but needed to get my mother seen quickly as she did not want to go to ER . I made an appt hour before closing Scottsdale & Shea . Same exact prompt, professional& positive experience at both NextCare locations.
Staff, from the technician to the practitioner, were FANTASTIC! Such kindness and thoroughness and all around great care! Thank you guys!
NextCare Urgent Care was great helping me with a back pain flare up. They saw me quickly, listened to the symptoms I was experiencing, gave some medicine and called ahead for a prescription. The admission forms were all online so minimal paperwork and I could do it all from my phone. The staff were organized, friendly and professional. I highly recommend.
They are easy to schedule with. Stay on time for appointments IF their computers don’t have issues ( which seem often) staff is very nice and PA’s are very knowledgeable!! Appreciate their care and being here!!
The worst experience. I went in with tremors, heart fluctuation, terrible abdominal pain. There wasn’t anyone else waiting but the woman at the desk just handed a clipboard with stacks of forms to my husband while I was writhing on a chair and completely out of it. We had to call 911 and got no care at all.
They were quick and efficient and kind! The doctor who helped me was very helpful and knowledgeable and I got my prescription picked up same day.
Easy booking online, got my son right in to see the doctor. We were there for 30 minutes and out the door. Super clean and friendly. 😊
Really fast service. The location is nice and great staff! The doctor was very informative, respectful and provided great service. I truly recommend this location and provider.
Make an appointment. These days it’s really hard to get into your primary care especially when you are sick- very grateful they were able to see me so quickly. I love the provider that saw - R. Treat. He was Very professional, informative, patient, kind & a wonderful bedside manner. I would definitely recommend coming here again.
I was running a little late for my appointment and they still got me in and out very efficiently!!! Thank you!
Provider appeared 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I normally would assume provider was with another patient, however he was sitting at his computer when I went in. Also you need to be consistent with water in the car and coming inside. Seemed to be a lot of non work visiting going on today.
The Physician Assistant Todd Page very condescending doctor. I told him what was physically wrong and he tried to make me feel like I was crazy and wrote it off as Vasovagal Syncopy. I didn’t come in for a psych consult I came in to see a medical professional about a physical problem with my body wouldn’t recommend coming here. Also the front desk nurse was ride and unhelpful worst staff imaginable.
Made appointment and filled out documents online which made check in very simple.. after a brief wait, I was seen by a triage person and then the family practitioner. I was very satisfied with the wait time and the treatment.
Very lucky to have found this urgent care years ago. They have provided excellent care when an ER visit wasnt necessary and trying to see my PC doctor was impossible to schedule an appointment that wasnt more than 6 to 8 weeks out; when youre sick youre sick and need to be seen sooner than later. I appreciate the front office staff, and the medical staff in back. Everyone has always been friendly, efficient, and professional. Great place.
I first got there and they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. They got us in in 15 minutes. The nurse practitioner was fantastic. He asked very clear specific questions and explain himself very well. The nurse was quick and very pleasant. We are in and out within 30 minutes.
Awesome experience very clean good care and wonderful service. Thank you !!
Entire staff did an excellent job!Minimal wait, doctor was great!!!
Made an appointment earlier in the morning. Came 20 minutes early. They were an hour behind due to short staff. Ask to wait in the lobby with chairs and wall no tv. Or wait in my car until they call me on my cell. Ask for my symptoms and how long I had them. I was asked more questions on the phone then I was told to come in and go straight to the room and wait for the physician. Very frustrating! . But I did get seen and I’m grateful for that. The nurse that did my vidals she was very pleasant. Made me smile !
They let me know right away that there would be an hour wait, and that it would be ok if I wanted to wait in my car or somewhere close by. We did the initial intake info over the phone while I waited in a coffee shop. They called me when they were ready to see me. The doctor was friendly, personable, and put me at ease about my medical concerns. An overall good experience! 🙂
Absolutely horrible experience. Do not bother making an appointment. It means nothing, as they allow walk ins that may have checked in before your appointment priority. They are not able to provide even an approximate wait time, so the actual wait time after I checked in, 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, could be 3-4 hours later, per the receptionist.I was then told I would need to wait in my car, at which point I canceled my appointment, wasting 40 minutes of commute time and the opportunity that I could have booked an actual appointment somewhere else that morning. They have a sign in the empty waiting room stating they do not tolerate aggressive patient behavior. I pondered this as I drove back home having wasted my time. While I was not aggressive, I left extremely frustrated and its easy to see how someone might lose their temper with them. Perhaps if they treated people better and had better business practices, they might have less frequent aggressive patients and might not need such a sign.
Very professional. Did not have to wait with my appointment
They were awesome, I felt so bad coming in 30 minutes before close, but they actually let me be seen as well as two people after me, and they were all very pleasant, the doctor was great. Everyone was awesome!
I have been both an customer ( started in 2017 to present ) and a employee ( 2017 to 2023) and I was expecting my records to still be available but they could not find them and I thought that was very strange since I know that former employees have the charts available...... that is the only annoyance and why it is not a 5 star... I am very happy with everything else the staff and provider were great!
Came from out of town, we normally go to NextCare in Tucson, but both our boys were dealing with asthma coughs that needed to be treated. The staff was amazing, zero wait time, and the NP Todd was so understanding with the fact that we are from out of town and agreed on a treatment. We were able to get the steroid medication, oral, in the office. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes.
Great, friendly, caring and professional. Needed some fast help today at the Shea Blvd location in Scottsdale and was grateful for the help of Dr Ryan Treat, back office staff Koy, Lily Ann and Karrie as well as the welcoming and kind Sty at the front desk. I appreciated being able to select a time from the app and the treatment and care from everyone. Great job guys.
Very friendly staff from the front desk to the nurse and the doctor. They took very good care of me. This is the first time I’ve gone to this facility. Setting my appointment online was very easy and convenient. I will use NextCare again for future issues that may present.
Very prompt and professional friendly staff from beginning of my visit to the end. All went beyond their duties to exceedingly match my needs. Being sick is difficult enough, nice to know I have somewhere close to go if needed again. Dr. was extremely professional and showed concern as did your reception and nursing staff.
Had a badly swollen and painful ear. Waited 4 hours to be seen by a doctor who only took two seconds to barely look at my ear, prescribe me some crazy antibiotics (and wrongly claimed it was a skin rash???), I took the antibiotics and 4 days after finishing the dose the infection came back. Mind you, the appointment was crazy expensive and those antibiotics completely messed up my body, sleep, etc. Called the clinic and they told me I’d have to come back in again. What a MAJOR waste of my time and money, and messed with my body/health more in the process. Going to a normal doctor/ear specialist this time which I really should have done in the first place. How in the world are doctors like this employed?? This is practically criminal.
The staff and, PA, Juan, were all very friendly and professional and dealt with my issue quickly and explained it thoroughly.
I was able to wait outside before the appointment which I really appreciated. I was taken back pretty quickly, in my opinion, but I’m used to waiting a long time at urgent care centers. PA Sehorn listened to me, and was thoughtful about all the potential diagnosis and treatment options all while maintaining a gentle touch and kind bedside manner (which was super appreciated when I had to get an eye related test done); really awesome and I’m lucky to have gotten them. The intake nurse was also very nice. I’d recommend this location, I feel I got great care.
It’s sort of a madhouse the way they make you check-in at the main entrance, walk to the far end of the hall to wait in their main lobby (even though their own waiting room is always empty), then proceed to phone call you back while asking you personal questions that other patients around you can hear, and finally make you walk back through a separate entrance and room yourself. That, and the front desk reception staff being unpleasantly unkind most of the time are the cons of this place. Pros are relatively short waiting times (if you book ahead online) and incredibly helpful, knowledgeable PA’s that have good bedside manner, including Todd and Ryan.
Unfortunately due to so many people locally with Flu symptoms, it took over 2 hours to get to get into a room and see someone even with an appointment. Once I got there, I had an NP to take my vitals and prescribe some meds to fight my bronchitis. Ive been to this location in the past and always feel like I receive good treatment advise.
The Xray tech was amazing and so quick doing precheck in was a breeze at home we were out and on our way in less than 20 min from the time we walked in the door. The technician was also wonderful and wrapped up my toes and showed us how to care for it at home. No one wants to get hurt but making the process of getting the right chair pain free and fun was greatly appreciated great customer service in an age where that is slipping away.
Horrible service. Went on a Saturday at 3: 25 pm. The person at the front desk ( Wilma) let the person checking out cut in front of and began helping them. When it was my turn, she turned me away at 3 ; 31 to say they werent taking anyone else. They closed at 4 pm.
No appt..only waited 30 min.Very nice staff
We didn’t have an appointment because the next available one was 2 hours out when we checked. They worked us in when we walked in (and we had a wait of 45 minutes or so). They kept us informed and were very kind. Thank you for your help and the positive environment.
Great experience. Medical staff was thorough and had great communication.
After a couple of days of a progressively worse cough, I did an online search for clinics open on Sundays. NextCare Urgent Care made it so easy: I made an online reservation. The clinic is in a very nice bldg, and the facility itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The receptionist was pleasant and the paperwork was short & sweet. The nurse and dr were both pleasant and thorough. In short, the service I received was excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this place again.
The absolute worst care in the world. Management really needs to take a look at this place and their employees behavior. They make you check in at the main entrance and then, walk to the far end of the hall to wait in their main lobby. Their waiting room is empty, the front desk wants you out ASAP. The minute you walk in the woman rattles off what she wants you to do and doesnt give you time to do so. They then proceed to phone call you back asking you personal medical questions and finally make you walk back through a separate entrance. They asked for my height and weight, etc. They also asked if I was running a temp and didnt take a temp there. I could have just diagnosed myself with the lack they did there, complete waste of time and money. The front desk reception is very unpleasantly, PAs completely out of it, like they hate their jobs. They do not listen or even try, It was completely confusing at checkout and I did not know where to go because I did not want to deal with the front desk due to the belittling. I will next time just go and wait for a real doctor visit. The medical system needs an overhaul and if they respond by were sorry it will be completely pathetic. This isnt a restaurant! This is about peoples health!!
Great staff and I got in and out quickly as a walk-in. I went to a different urgent care (not operated by NextCare) first and was told there would be a 3 hour wait which is understandable in omicron times but they seemed annoyed that I would even dare consider walking in when afflicted with back pain upon waking up. I couldn’t be happier with the service and treatment I received at NextCare.
The staff is so friendly and the place is so clean and organized. They were really wonderful about using my sons preferred name and pronouns and made him feel super comfortable. We came in for a rapid covid test one day and the next day a sports physical. The wait was a little bit but that’s to be expected for an urgent care.
Very impressed with this clinic and the care received. Never expected to be injured while on vacation but they were quick and took care of everything I needed to enjoy the rest of my trip. Highly recommend this clinic!
The center I had an appointment with ran out of the necessary test kits the day of my appointment. They notified me early in the morning via text. I was able to call their central appointment line and locate another clinic thirty minutes away. They no longer had any scheduled appointments but I was able to be seen in a reasonable amount of time as a walk-in patient. I was able to get the testing I needed with rapid results. I was also able to cancel the other appointment through central appointments, which might allow someone else to use the time slot. I am pleased and satisfied.
I noticed a large sign on the front door that asked us to sign in electronically. So I used the app only to get a phone call about an hour into waiting asking if I was there and that I did not check in. I was not given the paperwork for an xray in the event we needed it if the discharge instructions did not work. I had to go back to the office the following week to get the paperwork. I have been waiting for 2 days for someone to get back to me with the results of the xray. I am still waiting. :-( The staff was very friendly but just not enough people working I guess as I had to be on hold for at least 20-30 min each time I have called. I am on hold now for the 5th time since our first visit.
Amazing experience this is the only Urgent Care I will seek medical help. After hearing how horrible the Honor Health Clinics I am very glad that I have my Urgent Care professionals.
The mobile checkin/paperwork wasn’t working which was kind of a pain. Medical staff was professional and friendly.
They were very professional and addressed my needs. Listened well and were fast.
Didnt have to wait long, they performed tests promptly and then got me the treatment I needed. MA and Doc were both very kind.
I went in on a Saturday, 30 minutes before closing, with flu and strep symptoms. Total time from the time I walked in until the time I walked out was about an hour and my prescriptions were immediately sent directly to my pharmacy. The entire staff was friendly and professional and the facility was very clean. The Dr was very thorough and concerned. I received a follow up call 3 days later from the Dr herself. I highly recommend this location. I’ve been to many other Urgent Care facilities and this was by far my best experience.
Brought my daughter in this morning for a cut under her eye that the school nurse felt needed to be glued. Girl at desk first quoted 20-30 minutes but quickly revised and said maybe closer to an hour. We sat in waiting room for 1-1/2 hour before giving up and leaving. In that long period of time, no other walk-ins had been called back yet either, so we were not even next up. I asked receptionist how much longer at about 45 min and she said just a few more, as theyd just opened up some rooms. Meanwhile, other people/patients do come in the door holding their phones and stating a room number and heading directly back. At about 1.25 hrs in (another 30 min later), I inquiried again. This time the receptionist stated that they were busy with appointments. I asked about the rooms she said were opening... she replied that they had been filled with the appointments. ??? I asked why they take appointments if its a walk-in urgent care. She said they do both. Ummm... I would say with our experience, they do not. We finally gave up and sought care elsewhere. Unless you have an appointment, I suggest you do the same! The actual ER is faster.
Kind, caring people, who took care of my stitches while having the best attitudes. Really cared. When they were out of tetanus shots they took the time to call a nearby CVS to find me a place where I could easily go get one. I will definitely visit this Urgent Care again should I have the need and I heartily recommend it and their wonderful staff.
Terrific experience. In an out in less than 30 minutes. The provider listened and responded and the suppprt staff was great.
They have a sign saying, aggressive behavior from patients will not be tolerated, in a clinic with sick people, you would think the patients should be the priority. I didnt even bother waiting or wasting my money here because the nurses/receptionists started raising their voices at me and refused to let my mom come back with me. I was very sick and could barely walk, (I had just turned 18), I dont understand why she could not come back with me, the whole thing seamed off; why isnt the patients comfort the priority? Suddenly, the reason they had the sign was clear. The staff seam to hate their jobs and are very unprofessional. I am glad I didnt waste my time; will not be coming back.
Once it was my turn, I was seen and addressed efficiently. However I waited for about an hour and 15 minutes outside in the heat without any updates on when I would be called (other than the app update). At the one hour point I went inside and asked, because the app said there was no longer someone ahead of me. I was told there had been an emergency and that I should be called within about 10 minutes. That was pretty accurate. I know this can happen with an urgent care center. If I return at another time, I would register ahead of time rather than “walk-in.” I didn’t know to do this. All in all, for someone vacationing here from FL and needing medical attention, my issue was addressed by the provider with compassion and professionalism. I had tried a CVS Minute Clinic prior to this and they did not have the resources I needed. Their recommendation sent me here.
Very good experience. Doctor very nice and informative.
Great service and great wait time. Very friendly staff.
Easy check-in, didn’t wait very long. Thought I had strep, test was negative and the PA took the time to go over my symptoms to make sure he was making the correct diagnosis. Didn’t feel rushed out.
The care there is great. However 2 things bugged me. 1. I had an appointment, but when I got there I was told its basically 1st come 1st serve 2. The receptionist was telling people, including me, that it was a 2-3 hour wait. I was in and out in an hour. Was she discouraging people so that they wouldnt be so busy? But again, the docs and nurses are great!
I was so impressed with the staff and the attention I received. Tried to get Covid test at CVS, but they require appointment that you can’t get for days. Found NextCare Urgent Care on-line and headed over there. Check-in was easy. Filled out paperwork in car. Ashleigh called me with some questions after 20 min. Went in and saw her right away. She got my vitals and swabbed me and was so nice! Dr. Page came in and explained everything to me. He was great! How amazing that they are so busy with Covid related symptoms and tests and they have such great attitudes and are so incredibly accommodating?I was super impressed!
FNP Ryan and MA Jose’ were Outstanding! They effectively addressed my medical needs. They both took the time to listen, were compassionate and professional. It was a very comforting and reassuring medical visit!
Scheduling & Check In were good & went smoothly. I had a COVID-19 Test & when I was told which room to go into, the nurse promptly came to my exam room. She was thorough with reviewing my information & with the test. The test took approximately 15-20 minutes before the Dr. came into tell me my results & asked if I had any questions or concerns. The entire process was easy and they were respectful of masks, distance and cleanliness regarding the virus.
Made an appointment online to arrive and have to wait still. Staff knew my symptoms prior to me arriving. They failed to tell me upon or at the point of my arrival that I could not sit in the lobby…. I had to stand in the AZ heat. Don’t even have a fever but I may now!
Went to the urgent care in less than a week. The first time I was overcharged on my copay without realizing it until I went there the second time and after calling billing I have to wait a month just to get $5 back. On the second visit it was 6 days later because symptoms are worse. The receptionist was not friendly at all, no smile, just monotone the whole time and not helpful when I asked about the overcharge from the last visit. Also on my second visit I went online and scheduled an appointment. I’ve been waiting for an hour for my appointment. I asked the other patient before me how long she’s been waiting and if she made and appointment, she said that she’s been there for almost 2 hours and didn’t have an appointment. Another patient overheard our conversation and told the front desk that they needed to reschedule and told her that I’ve been waiting for an hour and I had an appointment. The receptionist told him that the appointments are not guaranteed appointments and it’s based on the emergencies that walk in. What’s the use of scheduling an appointment when we have to wait hours? Other urgent cares are not like that! I will not be coming back here!
I Had some sort of infection going on in my toe after running a long run decided to try this InstaCare instead of wait and make an appointment with my family doctor. They told me I would have a 45 minute wait but I was actually checked in and out within less than 40 minutes. The PA was efficient, personable and very pleasant. I will definitely come back even though I love my family doctor.
My mother in law went in today and received the worst treatment possible during her intake. Cary was the rudest person she could ever have encountered. She was rude, demeaning to them, even made her wait in the car for over an hour even though she had an appointment. Service was so bad, her blood pressure shot up before being seen. On a positive note, her experience with the doctor was just the opposite, extremely polite and excellent service. So at least it ended on a positive note. As with Cary, someone that miserable doesn’t belong working in healthcare. Perhaps Nextcare needs to take a closer look at Cary and her bedside manner, because no one should have to endure that kind of treatment when they are at a facility to be helped in the first place.
While gardening, I had come in contact with the creamy white latex-like substance that runs from the trimmed ends of Firestick cactus. I’ve had these plants in my yard for years and was never aware of how extremely dangerous this stuff can be, especially to the eyes. I woke up Christmas Eve with my eyes on fire. After contacting Poison Control for initial help, my family insisted I go to Urgent Care. Two of them knew of this NextCare location. I had modest expectations. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the instantaneous greeting as we walked in the door, through check-in, and then the immediate actions the office staff and nurses took to quickly tend to my situation, this team of professionals earned their five stars. From the angels who checked me in, to the wonderful and funny red headed nurse who waved me into the back, on to the NPs, these people care and proved to me, they can really help. I am not sure why everyone rates this place highly. If I was a malpractice lawyer, I would hang out next to the exit, and probably find an endless supply of clients. When I ate some shellfish (not allergic) and got diarrhea for 3 days, the care provider said to wait it out. I told him that I was going to Disneyland by car for 4 days and I didnt want to have diarrhea everyday during the trip. When I pointed out the treatment for Vibrio (which ended up being the cause), the care provider said he had never heard of that, and he left the room (to probably look it up). When he came back, he still said I have to wait it out and that I could leave. I then pointed out that he did not even exam by abdomen. Whoops. I had diarrhea for 10 days (basically everytime I ate something) and it went away after 1 day of antibiotic. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. You should find somewhere else to be seen if you have a real medical condition.
Quick in and out and the staff were very pleasant and professional. Solved my issue and only one person in front of me. Sure beats the ER!!
Scheduled appointment for rapid test online for the following day. I got in close to an hour after the scheduled appointment, which I thought was fair under the circumstances. They performed rapid tests and gave me results 10 mins later. The nurse practitioner on staff took the time to answer all my questions and provided me with the paperwork showing my test results.Under the circumstances with limited staff, supplies and labor, I was able to get the information I needed within 48-hrs using Nextcare Urgent Care. I highly reccomend.
Great service ! Walgreens took longer for antibiotics than they took to glue and splint my thumb. I went back to work for 5 hours(made 7.5 hours) instead of 0-because of the quick service.
The nurse was really great. I had an extensive abrasion and she was so kind. The doctor too.Thank you for such great customer service.
I’m not one to complain but this clinic is awful. I came in addressing UTI symptoms and concerns with a past history of severe UTI’s leading to infections. I was told by Ryan Treat that he would send in a culture test to the lab and he would follow up with the results and confirm on if I should start the antibiotics he prescribed, which he mentioned to not take until he advised or symptoms worsened.I haven’t received any update from this office.I’ve been waiting for days and there is no way to reach someone at the front desk only a customer service center that no one answers.I highly recommend you go else where if you are looking to be helped because they do nothing at this office.
Appointment was fast, dr was kind and courteous and met my needs. For the simple thing i needed $75 with co payment for insurance is pricey but paying for convenience and immediate availability that I wouldnt be able to get at my primary care
Was a bit of a wait, definitely get there early. Was overjoyed with my doctor, though. Absolutely one of the nicest doctors I’ve had to see this year. She didn’t make me feel like she was rushing me out or she had no time for me, and she helped me get my treatment plan in place even after it wasn’t what I came in thinking it was. Thank you!
Had to stop in for my son while on vacation. We were seen on time, had a really quick visit, and the providers and staff were very friendly. Facility was very clean. While I hope to never have to go back, I wouldn’t hesitate to do so.
Scheduled 9:15 am appt evening before appt. I was checked in on time and my physical was completed within one hour and 15 minutes.Efficient and effective operation.
Very easy to sign up for an appointment same day, easy quick app to use for paperwork. I was able to see Dr. Sehorn in a quick amount of time, she was professional and kind. Office was clean and I felt safe being there! A+ experience.
I liked that they had an online checkin option, but I still ended up waiting for another hour after that, just to be seen for vitals and some minor tests. There was more waiting for test results which is to be expected. The lobby was a depressing place to wait. The chairs were broken and the water cooler had no cups. The one little TV they had way up high on on the wall didn’t offer any channel options as they don’t have cable, DISH or a streaming service. Only a DVD that played “Goonies” on a loop. It was very cold feeling in the waiting room. They must’ve lost 6 patients when they were told by the receptionist that it would be a 3 hr. wait. That can’t be good for business. The exam room was equally depressing. Outdated decor and very clinical and cold. The entire place needs an update.I’m still waiting for my prescription and it’s been 4 hrs since we left there. The one thing they were very good at was collecting payment! Staff personalities were dry - not rude, however - especially the receptionist. It was like none of them were happy at their job.
The wait was painless (I did make an appointment though) and the staff was beyond warm and very pleasant to interact with. Dr. Joshua seemed to care about my discomfort and needs while deciding what course of treatment was best. He had trainee with him as well; the way Dr. Joshua interacted with the person he was training was really admirable as well. Nothing less than a great experience, which is hard to come by when one is sick as a dog. I won’t be going anywhere else as long as I’m in the valley.
I called the day before and asked when I would get my covid test results and they said 1-2 days, so I booked an appointment for the next morning. I arrived 15 minutes early because they asked me too. I proceeded to wait 2 hours before getting a call to head inside for my appointment. Once I took my covid test, they told me I would get my results in 4-6 days, when I was told I would receive them in 1-2 days the day prior. Would appreciate honesty as well as a shorter wait time, especially when I scheduled an appointment.
Doctor never sent our prescription to the pharmacy and it was a huge mess to try to get it. Over a period of 2 days, it took about a dozen phone calls to resolve this. My son’s ear infection was prolonged for 2 days because of their complete incompetence. Will never go here again.
All personnel were professional and kind. I was particularly impressed by the two young men, the FNP who treated me and his assistant who took my history and vitals. They were both efficient and caring. The only negative is in the supposed appointment process. On the website, one has a choice of times to book, but in reality those times are meaningless. When I arrived, I was told I would have a 2-hour wait. The process needs to be more realistic.
I had a great experience at this location. You walk up and scan a bar code on the door, sign in online and wait in your car and they call you when they are ready for you. Very friendly staff. Took a few hours like any other urgent care, but the system they are using makes the time go by pretty fast.
There is nothing but good reports & high marks. Josh was the PA on that day & he was clear & concise with his instruction. The entire staff was friendly & helpful. All told, I was in & out on 45 minutes. I was the first patient of the day as well. Thank you all for your care & compassion.
Super kind staff from the sweet greeting- to the nurse- to the dr. Sorry I didn’t remember their names but whoever worked on 8/29. Fast efficient clean located inside the bldg on the corner on Shea east of Scottsdale Rd. Can park in underground parking too. Thank you! My new fav urgent care!
My cough was very bad. The inhaler and medicine I was given did not help. It took two more weeks and a visit to my primary to receive the z pack I should have been given in the first place. I will not recommend this facility.
I walked in on a Saturday morning with major issues with my right eye. I was visiting from Denver. I was seen within 30 minutes. The PA (Taylor) did a really thorough job examining my eye. She used a dye and took photos so that I could share them with an eye doctor. She gave me a list of eye doctors I could contact on a Saturday and wrote me a script for eye drops. A little bit later I saw an eye doctor who commented on what a good job Taylor had done and that she was spot on with her assessment. So thank you Taylor and thank you to the staff. I was in Phoenix to see my son play baseball. I was able to get to his games that afternoon and my eye got better the next day. I appreciate everything you did.
This place was awesome. We were out of town. I was able to book an appointment same day for my kid who had strep. In and out in 30 minutes. PA Josh and his student were great as well and the nurse. If you’re sick in Scottsdale, go here!
Use as the last resort…if every other option has been exhausted. This used to be a good option but staff and standards have changed. Be prepared to wait over an hour even if you have an appointment and the place is empty. You will be greeted with a 10-foot sign, letting you know that aggressive behavior is not tolerated. The reason they need the sign is because they are so grossly incompetent that it is expected that everyone entering the building will eventually become frustrated. Try anywhere else…the current staff hate their jobs and it shows.
Took my daughter to get a rapid covid test. Waited an hour and 20 minutes. Ended up walking back in after waiting and they said they called. Never did. Only good thing was the front desk lady. Finally got in, waited another 15 and the doctor came in saying she was negative......NO TEST WAS TAKEN! He seemed confused, no idea what was going on. Gave me the paperwork anyway. Absolutely horrible
Quick and easy check in & front desk staff was super sweet, everyone i spoke too there was comprehensive and communicative. PA was great. i didn’t wait for anything as long as i have at other “urgent” care locations. would definitely recommend to others & come back here if i need to.
The service was reasonably quick and efficient for an urgent care facility. Friendly and professional.
I specifically saw there was 3 people waiting so opted to make an appointment for over an hour away. We showed up 10 min early for our appointment and proceeded to wait almost 2 hours in the lobby. There is no point in having appointments if they are not at least remotely honored. There was no update or apology. The doc was not with him even 10 minutes. We will not go back based on this experience.
Terrible service since front desk, the first nurse that received me kind of rude, I went to this urgent care because I have been dizzy during 4 days and not able to even drive, they made me wait in the waiting room 40 min., the blood pressure machine took my blood pressure wrong two times, the ECG machine was not working fine, the printer was not working fine. they ran blood test, glucose test, ECG and that everything was normal. The doctor is inexperience, unprofessional and couldn’t find a diagnosis. I’m still dizzy with the same symptoms and they told me I can go to the clinic again or go to a primary physician. Terrible service, terrible doctors.
When the docs office isnt open on a Sunday, but you have a terrible sore throat, it is worth it to check if it is something serious. Staff, nurse, and PA were all pleasant, respectful, and helpful. Office is in a nice location and always very clean. I wish the online reservation system shared more of the information I put in with the office. Specifically, I wish it shared the copy of the insurance card that it asks for. I put that info in to make the appt. and the first thing they ask for in the office is my insurance card. Where did that online information go, if it wasnt sent to the office?
I arrived around 8am as soon as they opened and had to wait about two hours before being called in for my walk-in appointment. The clinic did a great job maintaining social distancing and I was relieved when I found out that I was going to receive a rapid test, and I would know 30 minutes after I left the location. I did have to wait but it is so worth it!
Reception process did not help client/patient who are in need of urgent medical help and are in a crisis sometimes
From the check in to the techs and doctor I was treated professionally and felt comfortable. The doctor, and his team, were very knowledgeable and I left feeling like my issue and questions were handled professionally.I highly recommend this place to all!*OH HARDLY NO ONE THERE SO I WAS IN AND OUT FAST
I have used this NextCare location previously and been happy with everything. Today, not so much. I checked in at 10:15 am for a 10:30 am appointment that I booked online the night before. When I checked in I was initially not told that I was about to experience a horrendously long wait time. After an hour and a half, I asked what the heck was taking so long, especially since I had an appointment. Well what they don’t tell you is that they “fit in” any walk-ins in between people like me who actually take the time to make an appointment. At 1:15 pm (THREE HOURS LATER) they called my name, just to be brought in back and told “there’s a couple of people ahead of you.” I walked out of there at 1:42 pm, and will think twice about going there again, unless I book the first appointment of the day.
I went through NextCare Urgent Cares online check in which worked quite nicely. I arrived on my scheduled time, filled out the paper work and only had to wait 20 minutes (not that much time considering other places Ive been to). I went for a general physical, and everyone was professional and efficient. I strongly suggest for a quick visit for basic medical treatment.
Dr. Rowe was awesome! Incredible bedside manner. My wait time was 20 minutes, then I was moved to get my vitals taken and have my issue addressed. Dr. Rowe was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Easy to make an appt! Easy to be seen and received immediate test results! Couldn’t be more thankful
Had to get a COVID rapid test done results were quick once I was able to be seen but given the number of people testing this week it was not surprising at all that the time to be seen was a few hours. The staff was kind, safe and responsive very appreciative of them and the work they do!!
I loved that I didnt have to have an appointment. With my busy work schedule it was nice to just walk in. I was treated with upmost concern and efficiency. My physician Tiffany took great care of me. Did some tests right there at the location that put me at ease and gave me peace of mind. I definetly will recommend this Next Care to friends.
I did a walk in visit and the wait time was less than anticipated. The staff was very friendly and professional. I felt like a cared-for-patient and never felt rushed although they were seeing me minutes before they closed. I would definitely return if the situation needed urgent care. There was no wi-fi in the waiting lounge so bring something other than your phone if you plan to read the to read the news.
Same day schedule!! Very efficient and on time woth being seen, diagnosed, and discharged.
Was able to make a same day appointment. Everyone was very friendly. I didnt have to wait long guess I just missed the rush. I was impressed with my care given at NextCare Urgent Care Shea Rd
Went for a COVID test but I’ve been to other NextCare locations previously. The caregivers were excellent as were the reception staff. What is irksome is that we take the time to enter all our data into the app and then upon arrival we are back in the 1990’s and have to fill it all out again. This plus the fact that I was called at 1145 for an 11:00 appointment having arrived the requisite 10 minutes early colors an otherwise good experience. Reading this management?
The check in process went very good. Then I was told to wait in the car for a call to come back in. I received a call and the aid said to report to room 6 with no further instructions. To make a long story short, I had to ask two different employees where this room is located. When I was in room 6 and prior to getting my test I told the aid that I need a PCR or a Molecule test not the antigen test due to the Alaska requirements. She gives me the test and say I will have your results shortly. I was given the Rapid test and that had to be discarded. My wife had her test shortly after mine and the aid gives her a packet to be filled out which I did not have to do and that was useless and never looked at and thrown out.
Avoid if you have extreme high blood pressure (hypertensive urgency or emergency). They wont prescribe anything at this site since they view the fact they are not associated with any health system and view it as a liability risk. They shouldve told us up front they wont do anything since they will refer you to either the ER if you experience symptoms or to your pcp if youre without symptoms. Hypertensive urgency is standard practice (there have been multiple medical journal articles about htn urgency management in urgent care settings) for urgent care sites, but this site refuses to provide any management.
Excellent experience. It was very thorough and the practitioner was very knowledgeable
The check-in wasn’t easy as when I called to get the appointment I had 10 minutes to get there and then was told at the door I had to check-in online filling out my information and downloading my insurance documents along with my drivers license. The internet service was so poor as I sat in their parking lot I could not complete the download or submit the information . My appointment was at 1:00 but because of the poor connection I was not seen until 1:30. I received a text from the triage nurse telling to return the call but the number I was given was the wrong number. Once I got ahold of them I was then asked several questions from the triage nurse and then said where I was to go. Once I got inside, the gal at front again took my license and insurance cards to copy. I was then instructed to go back out from where I came and go down the hall to another door with the yellow card on it. Once inside the exam room, a medical assistant immediately came in to check my vitals and oxygen level. Then the gal from the front desk came in and said I had to fill out all the information again. It was a hassle but once I was seen the healthcare workers were all pleasant and the rest of the time was as to be expected. Thank you.
I went in for the first time and the receptionist was amazing to deal with recommended at few ways we can do it since I am from Canada and I don’t have a medical plan here. From the x-ray technician to the Doctor Who was amazing and explained everything to me. I highly recommend them
Made appt online after a burn accident and they got me in in a half hour. The PAC was knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend the entire staff! They see adults AND children and they have an x-ready onsite!
Worst experience of my life. Receptionist (dark hair women) was rude, couldn’t handle having multiple people while being on her own. Took her miserable mood out on patients who were already in distress!! The male Dr. I saw was even worse. Lack of CARE from the staff was embarrassing. I went in for a covid-19 test, and after 10 days I HAD TO CALL this clinic back just to be told they ‘still haven’t gotten my results.’ This location is an absolute disgrace to “health care.” I highly recommend ANY OTHER place.
Taylor Sehorn was incredibly thorough, kind and attentive. The staff was helpful, the facility was clean and Covid safe. I recommend this location. It’s important to make your appointment online. Go to the front desk (which is separated from reception with plexiglass) at your appointment time. You will go back to your car, wait for your call and walk directly into a room separated from the lobby. It is not crowded, the staff wears face shields and they go above and beyond to care for you in a very sanitary manner.
I took my grandmother to this clean well appointed clinic in 2016, and she felt the staff here treated her so kindly - so her experience was a catalyst in my choosing this clinic this past Saturday. My throats was all yucky- theres ample easy parking.Walk in clinic was clean well lit well air conditioned and friendly person behind desk to immediately greet me and give me instructions/paperwork. The process flowed without hassle which is what I need when I dont feel good.Ashley the nurse has great friendly bedside manner-Dr josh deserves a medal or perhaps monetary reward of some kind for looking in my mouth despite my throats not having neighboring brushed clean teeth - my throats too swollen. Was prescribed anti inflammatory and paid my $50 co pay and voila! It was that easy. Dr. Josh friendly too and yay! I tested negative for streptococcus throat.Wud return here and wud recommend this fine clinic to anyone. They are efficient, operate from good faith and are respectful. Thank you to this staff!
The doctors and nurses are great! Professional and caring. The wait, even with an appointment, can be very long, and don’t expect the front office to care…
Waiting over 1 hour after appointment time! Lots of excuses but not professional.Need better schedule to not make sick wait so long, better to stay at home than in a cold car.
Went to the Shea location today for a Rapid COVID-19 test with no appointment. Lots of people, long wait, as expected. There was a nurse named Katrina who went above and beyond to answer questions, check on status’ of registration. She not only was HELPFUL, she was KIND, she was EMPATHETIC, she truly CARED about everyone there, and I can’t express enough how much that meant to me, my daughter, and everyone else that was there. Thank you, Katrina! Of course, everyone else, once inside, was just as kind and professional, thank you to everyone, we really appreciate you all!
Taylor the PA was wonderful. She was very caring, thoughtful, and curious. I had stitches and meet with in three different issues because of complications the stitches got infected. The NP has a real attitude. He sent the MA in To ask me questions three times before he would even Come in to see me. He was extremely rude. Thanks goodness I saw Taylor the PA most of the time.
PA Taylor Sehorn was very kind and thorough at the appointment. This location does not have an X-ray machine so I was referred to an imaging center. Only downside was that no provider from the location ever called me to follow-up on my x-ray results once they were sent over, I had to look at the radiology report myself and go from there.
Getting an appointment is easy and wait time time is very little. Staff is very warm and helpful. Dr. Joshua is excellent. I went for emergency help with twisted joint and Dr. take care of it very throughly. The assistant of Dr. Josh, Dr. Nick also very polite and well in bedside manners. After all X-rays and examination, Dr. Explained the treatment plan very clearly. When time to leave Dr. Joshua was so kind that he pushed my wheelchair upto my car as I was unable to walk and with a kid with me its awesome helpful. After this caring visit I will visit on my urgent sickness time to this healthcare facility.
I really liked the doctor and how he explained what he thought and why he did things. He listened to me and was very nice guy. I will come back to this urgent care for any future needs that cant wait for my PCP.
Have mostly good experiences here, but went in for a self-pay Covid antibody test and they called with the wrong results. I had a LabCorp account and they sent the results directly. I have the antibodies, but for some reason, NextCare didn’t want me to know that I wouldn’t need the vaccine, or maybe it was an honest mistake. Wondering if anyone else experienced this.
We arrived today 15 minutes before closing time. All of the staff were very polite and professional, from start to finish. Reception, nurses, and PA were top notch. Thank you for your excellent care.
Horrible experience. Went in for a foot injury. Doctor would not give me an xray, just a prescription to help the tendonitis. When I tried to get the prescription, Walgreens said the doctor did not give the correct information and NO ONE ANSWERS the phone to help me.
The team was working really hard to move people through even though they were short handed. And everyone I interacted with had great attitudes as well. The PA was efficient, friendly, and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend.
Made the appt for a Covid test online. Checked in online an hour later and waited in vehicle 25 minutes past appt time until called to come in. Strep test and Covid test taken to get results in 2-5 days, but doctor approved taking a rapid test also which provided negative result in 15-20 minutes. The staff was courteous and informative. Total visit took less than one hour.
I understand it’s urgent care but when they tell you to make an appointment and you do, show up 15 minutes early like they ask you too and then still proceed to tell you it will be a 2 and a half hour wait… would have planned my day much differently had I known that was how they work. Went to a different Nextcare and didn’t have any issues like this at all..
The wait was an hour but it is flu season! The staff is wonderful and Ryan, the NP, is great! Spotless facility and felt like I was taken care of safely and appropriately. My go to for urgent care.
No wait for scheduled Covid 19 Test.Had symptoms that turned out to be a bacterial upper-bronchial infection, which the PA treated at the same visit.A week later and Im fine with a confirming- Covid negative result received in 2 days.Very impressed with the care I got there.I thought I needed a second appointment for the diagnosis and prescription. They underpromissed and overdelivered, which I appreciate, by handling both in a single visit for a test.
Shoddy treatment. Ridiculous wait and staff shortages. My husband needed a COVID-19 test so we scheduled in advance on the website. He arrived (10 minutes early) and ended up waiting for 90 minutes because they were taking walk ins before him. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF GOING THROUGH THE PAIN OF SCHEDULING OF YOURE TREATED LIKE IT DOESNT MATTER?!? The only reason he stayed was because the other places to be treated were booked. NEVER AGAIN. If you have any kind of choice avoid!!!
Three hr wait on Thursday...due to IT issues.I made an online appt for Saturday... Still had to wait 1.5 hrs (after my appt time). Once I was called in for my test, Nextcare staff members were kind, professional, and thorough.Note, they were encountering IT systems issues beginning Thursday and were still hindered by these issues on Saturday. It is unfathomable, in this day and time that Nextcares IT organization would not have resolved the issues impacting not only the clinic(s) but the customers; much quicker than 3 days! Nextcares IT organization must place a higher priority on their technology backbone and support, if they want to keep my business. Just saying, and yes, I work for a national compays IT organization...this service level is not an industry standard for ensuring a companys business systems are up and running...to support the business and its customers.
Signed in as a walk In for my COVID PCR test at 9:59am .received confirmation that I was No. 13 in line. After waiting 1 1/2 hrs. I & the rest of many others, some of whom had actual appointments decided to leave. There were NO emails from NexCare indicating that they were closed. NO notice on their door that they were closed. And their website continued to indicate OPEN. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL Unbelievable!
Pretty nasty cut - in and out in 40 minutes, 16 stitches. Very efficient and thorough. Highly recommend. Thank you!
The front desk staff can be a bit brusque but the nurses and PAs are efficient, helpful, and listen to my concerns. I always check in online, and my sons and I are always seen quickly when we arrive. (Ive never just walked in; I probably wouldnt recommend doing so if it can be avoided.)
This was my second visit in 4 weeks for a simple blood pressure check. Each time I was treated promptly, professionally and in a most timely manner. Thanks for a job well done.
I was very impressed with my visit. I was visiting from out of state and needed to be seen. My insurance is from CA. and is not in AZ. They took my co-pay and billed my insurance. My Doctor was great. I was on my way quickly. I would highly recommend them from my personal experience.
Was the first one here and theyve taken a person ahead of me cause they have insurance. Money talks I hope this doesnt reflect the actual medical care.##Update##The nurses are great! They did 2 test just to make sure I didnt have strep or the flu and gave me a prescription for antibiotics for my throat/ears. This is my new Urgent Care!!
I booked an appointment online so I didn’t need to wait two hours with a bunch of other sick people. I still had to wait a half hour, but it was OK. The doctor was arrogant, but he was intelligent and he gave me what I needed to get better, and that was all I really wanted. The medicine was effective!
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable regarding their job. Wait time was 5 minutes. I come each year for sport physical for my son.
