New doctor. Fire women only. Sorry men. No paper gown, its a real gown, plus socks. Rebecca spent time with me, ultrasound and lab are in the office. Also a dietician, and acupuncture. The reception area looks and feels like a living room. Love TIA. Personal disclaimer, make sure your insurance is contracted, always. But so worth the trip to Kierland (they have other locations).
I was skeptical at first with the membership requirement, social media buzz, etc., but I just started care with Tia and can’t say enough GREAT things so far! I suffer from endometriosis (and various other issues as a by-product) which has caused years of bouncing back and forth between specialists, gyns, and primary care doctors. This has really taken a toll on my mental health and drive to continue care. With that being said, Tia has demonstrated a new level of thoughtfulness, expertise, and geniality I’ve never experienced before!First off, the atmosphere is everything you see on tik toks from complimentary health drinks to decorative robes/room design, but don’t be fooled- this place isn’t just for show! In my experience, my previous specialists seem to check-boxes for diagnosis and short-term solutions which leads to dead-ends. I’ve also noticed that it seems like other practices don’t think big-picture (as far as mental well-being, long-term solutions, etc.). Reema Julani WHNP hit on all these points by explaining the Tia care model/purpose in a transparent and collaborative way. While my situation is complex, she actively listened to my historical experiences and tailored a care plan to me vs. to the “issue”.Outside of my personal Dr./Care plan, you can’t forget about the Care Team! I’ve waited months if not YEARS to hear back about appointment openings, follow-up care, results, referrals, you name it! And Tia has been highly communicative every step of the way. Different members of the Care Team have reached out around various requests/follow-ups and seem to really be “in the know” on what you are needing. They also have been very timely andcandid around issues (like cancellations, medical records, etc.) and seem to always offer a solution when an issue is present. This has really helped to avoid having to message back-and-forth or wait forever for a call-back.It’s still early in my experience with Tia, but I had to share for those of you that were skeptical (like me)!
Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I received a regular pap and bloodwork. All my preventative treatment was summited to my insurance and I never owed extra costs. The only thing I paid out of pocket was the monthly fee: but I believe it is totally worth it since the facility provides beautiful, clean, modern, comforting, and relaxing atmosphere and includes multiple service under one roof and lovely sodas and samples etc. Love this place! Wish I was able to use the acupuncture services but no comment since I didn’t. Canceling membership was simple and quick. I wish their messaging service was more organized, but that is something IT needs to work on and not the clinic. Also, wish they had a holistic/nautralpathy available since the doctors are more westernized and like a hospital type of style.
I joined a few months ago! It’s been really convenient. The Kierland office location is very nice! Clean! Don’t really feel like you’re in your typical doctor office. I’ve had a couple virtual appointments with Bobby Mickens NP! She is awesome! I had several questions and she made me feel very comfortable. Tia makes doctor appointments so much less of a hassle! Definitely recommend!!
Hyesun Cho gave me my first acupuncture treatment ever. I had persistent migraines and after 2 treatments it’s completely gone! I went back for knee pain and I feel so much better. I highly recommend- she makes you feel comfortable and calm during the whole session.
I really like Tia’s concept of healthcare for women and only women. Customer service is good. The providers are great as well. BUT the reason why it only gets 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because of how long it takes them to execute your health plan. It has taken DAYS to get my patient portal updated with instructions on what to do with my health needs/instructions for meds and etc. It takes forever for a message to be returned from the providers or care team members. Without fail, every single time I have an appointment and complete that appointment, I have to message and call within a couple of days to get my care plan started/executed because they are so incredibly slow to update your patient files/portal/care instructions. I have most recently waited nearly a week for a referral request to be submitted. Just submitted, that’s all. and ultimately I had to call the customer service line when it should have been submitted days ago. Kind of crazy that they take so long when their mission is to care for every patient in a timely manner and they charge late fees if you’re late for an appointment and they charge a monthly membership fee… you would think that they’d be timely since they’re so strict about it with their patients but the Tia team somehow always needs reminding/a push to put my careplan into action. I will be staying with Tia as my medical provider since the providers do a good job (better than anywhere else I’ve been) and the care team members are nice and helpful. Just wish they were more timely and that I didn’t have to constantly follow up to get the care I need.
I really appreciate the integrative nature of this office, as well as the blend of using tech and in person. From my initial appt with Bobby, NP (virtual) all the way up to my appointment day, Ive found the entire staff (Reema and Khajul on-site) are super friendly and kind and the office was very clean - just like the ads Id seen on instagram. I appreciate being able to get my bloodwork done on site and also the straightforward direction concerning my wellbeing goals. Thank you, Tia Scottsdale!
The doctors are great! I didn’t have a problem with them at all. However, their billing is the issue. They claim on their website to be affordable yet I was charged a total of $443 for one appointment in which I did not get bloodwork/exams that are supposed to be included with the appointment or any other kind of treatment. Everything that was supposed to be included in the appointment is an extra charge without insurance. The website says an initial, overall “exam” without insurance is $297. I was charged $297 only to talk to someone and then an additional $146 a week later without explanation. No bill or anything explaining the charge. It’s been weeks of trying to get a hold of the billing team with no success.
Im new to Scottsdale and needed a primary care doctor as well as an obgyn. Tia came up on my Instagram and I am so glad it did! I had my annual physical last week and was incredibly pleased with my experience, as its SO different (in a good way) from a regular doc office. Why I have loved my Tia experience so far:Ease of scheduling. I love that I can book online and there are ample appointments to choose from.All-in-one. To knock out a physical and a womens health visit in one swoop is a huge win. And there are acupuncture / cupping services at the same location. I have been wanting to do acupuncture again for a while but the convenience I needed to make it happen wasnt there - but now it is and I just left my second (incredible!) appointment with Heisun.Im interested in doing virtual therapy through Tia as well but havent made an appointment yet. But again, its a huge plus that all these providers are looped in on whats happening with you so things dont slip through the cracks. Its also the little things. A beautiful silk robe instead of a gross paper gown. Cute socks to wear during your pap. A sparkling CBD or magnesium water when you leave. They even have the Lola organic cotton tampons I buy!And the aesthetic!!! Beautiful (real) plants and flowers in vases everywhere, color coded books, minimal midcentury modern decor. You feel like youre in a stylish girlfriends living room when you wait to be called back. And the exam rooms are cute too. Makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience out the gate.I could see some people being discouraged by the $15 monthly membership but trust me... it is WORTH IT. To not have to wait a long time, to have ample appointments available, to have great technology running behind the scenes to make it better for patients to access their information and communicate with the care team without having to get on the phone and wait on hold... its a steal TBH.Highly recommend Tia Scottsdale. I have had a wonderful experience with everyone from Khajul and Rhiannon at the front desk, to Heisun (sp?) in acupuncture, to Shauna the NP, to the phlebotomist whose name I didnt catch but who has a velvet touch with a needle and had watermelon jolly ranchers to keep my blood sugar up during a massive blood draw for labs.Very glad I found this site of care and look forward to being a patient for many years to come.
Walking in doesnt feel like another clinic, its inviting and colorful and it makes it feel like taking care of you and your health is a wonderful thing and not something to be scared of! And personally, I always prefer being seen by women and I was seen by a wonderful NP and my phlebotomist was amazing too! Honestly cant recommend enough, I felt listened to, taken care of, and like they wanted to help. Being a woman in AZ and in the US right now is extra scary, and being surrounded by women who understand is a beautiful feeling. Its a community 🩷
I had to suspend my account due to insurance. I had every intention of returning. But as soon as I alerted them to needing to cancel I was ghosted. My pharmacy has been trying to get ahold of them. They billed me 2x and charged my card but have not provided the care needed for what they billed. I have been trying to get ahold of them as well with no reply. Clearly I dont matter anymore now that they know I have to suspend my account at the end of the month. Patients dont matter, money does.UPDATE - they just charged my card again for 3 separate charges after canceling my membership. And no one will reply to my messages.
I loved not only the atmosphere but the doctor really listened to me and was easy to talk to. They helped find me the right medication right away when it seemed so hard to do this with other doctors and it was exactly what I needed because they really listened to me. Usually I ask for blood work at a doctors office and it seems like it takes forever or I have to make another appointment, they did it right away for me on another issue I was worried about. Can’t recommend Tia enough for efficiency and the team!
Got a tour of Tìa today and I loved it. Look how cozy and warm it is and they’re like a concierge wellness centre for women. At least that’s how I see it. The location is great, property is beautiful and relaxing and the staff is helpful and professional to set the tone and make you feel safe. What a great business idea to have for us ladies to convene in a patient-centered customized healthcare experience just for us. Without the cold and clinical atmosphere. I even got a fancy magnesium infused water drink that was delicious and a goodie bag! Sign me up 😁
Tia provides great care and actually listens to you as a patient. I was pleasantly surprised at the care taken during the appointment. She took the time to answer all my questions, and give suggestions/options for care moving forward without ever feeling rushed. I had my IUD removed and it was almost painless. The cherry on top was the complimentary CBD drink on the way out.
Absolutely love this place! Definitely a safe place for women to come get seen for any health reasons! They are so understanding and polite! Not to mention, the robes, small treats, CBD drinks and great views while you wait!!! It’s just top tier amazing!!! Would highly recommend coming here! I will definitely be missing them now that I’m moving to a different state :(
DO NOT use Tia as your care coordinator. All these other reviews about cute robes and kind/caring doctors, yeah. But what those people don’t understand is that the docs are contracted and not Tia. Tia is like their secretary. A middle man. Yeah the Doctors are nice and the office design/amenities are modern and cool. Tia is the problem.Long story ahead but here’s the reason-Yes the health providers and doctors they contract with are competent but Tia itself is HORRIBLE. They handle appointment scheduling, insurance, and billing that I know of. I have had the worst experience with them. They are very incompetent at their jobs. They are very difficult to communicate with. When they finally do reply in the chat system that they use, there is a very long delay sometimes spanning days/weeks and several different people might jump in so you have to re-explain what you need as if there isn’t a record of the previous messages in the thread- Especially difficult for billing. No one has answered the billing telephone line I have called four times spanning separate days. I leave a call back number and receive no call back. The first issue I had was when they told me my insurance was accepted, and they even supplied a confirmation number for the call with my insurance to prove it was indeed in network. After being told by a Tia representative that I was covered I scheduled my first appointment. Several appointments later they message me in chat to say I’m actually not covered. I think okay that’s fine I’ll just pay cash rate and leave their practice and find a new coordinator/service provider. I asked two separate times if I have any outstanding balance so I can cut ties because I can tell they are a mess from all the screw ups. The first time I asked I was provided a statement for $100 after waiting several days and speaking with 2-3 different people in chat (a statement is like a receipt and means it was paid). I didn’t think that could possibly be right because I had several visits with various doctors so I asked again what I owe in June 2023, and was told that I do not owe anything. Now, August 1st 2023 they send me a demanding email saying they will forcibly debit my account if I don’t pay them $2500. It feels like they’re avoiding me, trying to use only chat or email to correspond with me. To say the very least they cannot be trusted and are clearly having some internal issues or training issues because I received false information and poor communication on several fronts and from numerous people. Please do not use this service.
I can not say ENOUGH great things about this office! Ive been a patient since this location opened in 2020/2021 and I have never had a bad experience while I have been here. This is perhaps the first primary/ob/gyn that has actually *listened* to me, believed me and followed up to find an eventual diagnosis! The office support staff are all super friendly and sweet and the office itself is beautiful! The environment in the exam rooms is cheerful but also very relaxing, and the ROBES! Gone are my days of wearing a paper gown in an exam, they have gorgeous, thick satin robes, in both a straight size AND A PLUS SIZE, so you can be comfortable no matter what. The acupuncture room is beautiful and super zen, it low key feels like a womb room in there. And dont even get me started on the fantastic little drinks they have for you to take! Like I said I can not reccomend this office enough!
I was an on and off patient with Tia. Heres my experience:They have an adorable office with cute robes, and the virtual visits are easy to set up. When I had no urgent health care needs, it was not an issue to go there, aside from the fact that the medical aid couldnt draw my blood so I had to go to a separate lab later anyways. If you anticipate never actually having health problems, go ahead and go with Tia, where you can blissfully enjoy the CBD water and give your money to a company that is basically 100% feminine decor and 0% competence. The chat and website follow up is where I had the most issues. They incorrectly cited my referral to a radiology center as an arm + leg MRI, when I only needed an MRI for my knee. (Love the fact that they just arbitrarily added this for me.) The teams who handle the chat system on their website are highly inept at handling billing and insurance issues and answering in a timely manner. Its very ironic for a company to sell patients on a membership for convenience when I have to google every single code listed on my billsheet to make sure my insurance will approve an MRI for a suspected ACL tear in my knee. And then I have to follow up for days after to make sure someone responds. Honestly, this place is absolute joke and I sincerely hope that anyone who has a membership to Tia doesnt ever run into any actual health problems.
I canceled my membership because Tia is not meeting my expectations. I expect a service I pay for would lower barriers to accessing regular care, but Tia has difficult policies regarding medication refills and a standard referral process for most services thats not worth paying for. I was skeptical of a paid service to access healthcare, but $15 felt achievable if the service offered could meet what Tia described-- patient-centered, holistic, easy care. It just isnt. Tia, please reconsider adding barriers to patients getting care as company policy, and for folks looking to sign up, dont. Its nothing different than a typical doctors office with pretty wallpaper and CBD water.
The office itself is beautiful, and the idea behind it is SPOT ON. Does it feel way more welcoming than a traditional office? Yes! The problem is in the execution. When paying a membership fee you hope to receive a little extra personal care- that doesn’t happen. Each visit they throw you with a new provider (virtually and in person); who then will ask you “so why are you here today” before reading your chart or prior history. On my second visit the provider had her camera turned off for the first 15 minutes of the appointment and apologized that she didn’t realize because she “wasn’t looking at her screen”. Results will take an abnormally long time to receive- even though most of the imaging is done in office…? I think it was a smart idea- they just aren’t doing a great job.
Besides the bright and inviting space, there are great people working at TIA. The nurse practitioner I saw for my first visit, Rebecca, made me feel so comfortable and confident. Hearing her say, “You don’t HAVE to do anything you don’t want to; you are in charge of your own health” solidified my decision in choosing TIA as my primary care clinic. The MA and lab tech were just as warm and professional. Both gals who checked me in/out were also sweet and patient. The other perks, like the easy online access to book appts and chat with my healthcare team, the beautiful robes and the complimentary magnesium water, just round out this amazing clinic. I’m looking forward to my acupuncture and pelvic floor therapy appts. It’s great to be excited to see your healthcare provider!
I’m so thankful to have found the Tia Clinic. The Care Team is amazingly attentive, works quickly to get you on the calendar and never rushes through appointments. I know my care is in excellent hands with Tia and know my thoughts and concerns are truly heard and addressed compassionately. The office itself is thoughtfully designed and makes for less stressful appointments without compromising quality of care!
I have never experienced a healthcare company quite like this. To say I was impressed would be the understatement of the year. From the moment I started my experience through the inclusive and thorough initial profile to my in person visit today, I was blow away with the kindness and patience I was shown. Every step of the way I felt heard and important and like an individual instead of just a patient lost in the crowd. My provider Alena in my initial tele-visit was so thorough and never rushed me or made me feel that my questions were silly or unimportant. Then in my in person exam today, my provider Audra was one in a million. She took the time to let me voice my concerns and helped create a space that made me feel safe and in control of my whole visit. I have already recommended this company to a handful of friends and will be a life time patient. Thank you to this whole company for such a positive experience.
I don’t recommend to anyone looking for real support, genuine care for your health, or personalized help.I joined through Instagram early 2021 to this location before it launched at Kierland. So all of my appointments have been virtual. I love a well designed office and killer amenities, and I loved Tia’s concept! But after my experience it feels like a façade unfortunately.I went to them early 2021 with digestive and hormonal concerns - bloating, hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain, mood swings, libido struggles, fatigue. I’ve never had so much blood work done in my life, Tia’s repeated response was more blood work. I asked for hormone tests and allergy tests multiple times, I didn’t get this until December. One doctor told me I had major allergies and referred me to an allergist who confirmed through thorough testing I had no allergies whatsoever and should see a GI. Another Tia doctor told me I had severely low testosterone, referred me to an endocrinologist who told me the testosterone Ian even remotely an issue but my cortisol is very low.Tia caused me to spend way too much money, waste so much time, and just isn’t reliable whatsoever. Just a bummer and hope they aren’t misguiding our patients too.
While this place looks nice and has nice amenities, I found the NP I saw to be dismissive of my healthcare concerns. I felt I was brushed off and as a fellow healthcare worker, I found information I was given regarding my concerns to be inaccurate and outdated. For a place that prides itself on being progressive, they were quick to deny my right to bodily autonomy instead of supporting me in my decision. All in all, this is your average doctors office, just prettier. I honestly wouldn’t have said anything at all, but the way they present themselves made me think this place might actually listen and make me feel comfortable, but you are just treated as a number like anywhere else. The robes are nice, the free drinks are nice, but besides that it is just like any other doctors office.
Love the atmosphere and the full womens health methodology. I couldnt recommend this place more! Its great having the option for Telehealth or in person exams.
After rescheduling an appointment($50 fee) due to my own lack of planning, I hopped on for my rescheduled appointment to see it was canceled due to technical difficulties. I will not be scheduling an appointment here after reading the reviews, paying $50 to reschedule and then having my appointment canceled, they did waive the fee this time. So gracious. Seems like a typical Scottsdale’s doctors office to me which does not warrant an addition membership fee.
Super cute clinic! Dr. Ernst was thorough and straightforward. The in-clinic exam was quick and most of my needs were met. There wasn’t a gut health testing available, and I was referred to another place for the lactose-intolerance testing. But regular routine blood work and STD-testing is processed through this clinic. I love that all of my information and results will all be available securely online, in one place.
Just got done with my first in person visit and was blown away. the décor was very nice and clean. The atmosphere was very calm and helps with the nerves of meeting a new doctor. The ma was very nice and very attentive and seemed to genuinely listen to what i was saying. When the doctor came in she was very nice and warm as well and answered my questions fully . I really enjoyed this experience and really think all women should go here because of the level of care I received from start to finish . ( the silk robes are a very nice touch btw and made the experience feel very high end )
This clinic makes me feel special & important each time I visit! They decor is classy & chic and relaxing all at once! Everyone is very pleasant and I look forward to each visit! Plus, its wonderful they offer so many services! Acupuncture is my new favorite self-care activity 😁❤
I’ve been looking for a women’s healthcare practice with an updated model of care to allow me to address my needs effectively utilizing technology and at the same time taking in consideration my comfort and experience. I’ve only had one visit with Tia with additional follow ups, I have to say I’m extremely surprised and satisfied with my experience. I receive a text with a link when communication is ready for me to review. My care program is accesible for me to review at any time. I can upload requested forms from the comfort of my phone. And during my visit, the place was extremely clean, and within 30 min I had a blood work, dr visit and ultrasound completed. I know this might not be the norm but the fact they took time to explain every single detail of my visit allowed me to feel comfortable.
I had my first in-person visit today and it was perfect! I was actually excited to get to my appointment and my nerves calmed down as soon as I checked in. It felt welcoming from the beginning and everyone was so nice. This is a huge difference in comparison to the health appointments i’ve been to at other places. I’m so excited to start this journey with Tia ♥️p.s. the office is soooooo cute! I was in love 😍
Best healthcare experience I’ve ever had. As a woman who lives in a larger body, feeling listened to has come few and far between in our current healthcare system. This visit was amazing and I came away feeling valued, listened to, and educated. Everyone is so welcoming and respectful. Plus…I got everything I needed for my yearly exam all in one place. Couldn’t recommend the care team more!
My whole experience here was amazing. The clinic is beautiful and welcoming. All staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. First time I really enjoyed my annual exam!
Wish I couldve taken pictures inside but it was a dream! It has a spa atmosphere - amazing books in the waiting room. I came in for my first appt here and was told I was due for a pap. My eyes immediately welled up with tears and, as proven when they took my blood pressure, that shot up right away. I can finally say I had a non traumatizing, painless pap-smear!! Im so grateful for Tia and cant wait to come back.
Beautiful, calm I environment. Music was like my own playlist, plants and books everywhere… and THE ROBES! So beautiful, warm and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I love this experience so far, it’s great having virtual and in person appointments.
If you dont have good insurance or enough money to just pay for every service, youre not welcome here. Its in a ritzy area thats nerve wracking for any normal person, and they suddenly stopped taking my insurance and cancelled my membership without my knowledge and I had to inquire multiple times before I got an awnser. I didnt have the choice to get a doctor of color which is so important for a black woman. I asked for referrals and had to ask over and over again to be referred back, only to find out they didnt do the referrals correctly and I never got any help. Lets hope nothing happens to me while I scramble for another doctor.
I enjoy using Tia. If you are someone like me who has sever anxiety and panic when it comes to doctors they never once made me feel bad about it. I have been ran though the ringer when it comes to doctors and mental health and so far they have listened and not once belittled my anxiety. I know they were not the ones to cause it but they do deal with it well. They are also responsive and helpful in finding a specialist if you need help beyond what they can give.
Honestly, my experience with Tia has been great! It’s a little more costly, but the level of service and help I’ve been able to get is phenomenal. They offer in person and telehealth they have MULTIPLE dates available and made the entire process of getting my health on track feel easy. It’s whole body care from mental health, to primary care down to gyno care. I drive 20-30 mins to go to their office happily for those in person appts because their faculty is clean, beautiful and inviting.
Just left from my first in person appointment and it’s the first time I felt relaxed leaving. I’m scared of needles and I had blood work done and I didn’t even cry. (I always cry) the doctor actually listen to my questions and worked with me to make sure I felt comfortable. I really enjoyed my doctors visit for the first time since I was a kid. Thank you guys!
Horrible experience. They want me to make another appointment for refills on my meds, when I’ve seen them in person and on Zoom. They are making me go without BP meds and Fibromyalgia meds over this weekend. Also they say the price for zoom appointment was supposed to be $35 then charged me $50. And my pharmacy never received any of my prescriptions from them over the last couple of appointments that I’ve had. I can’t get ahold of a Manager to discuss this with. I’m in the healthcare and would never treat clients like this.
I called see if they take insurance they do but there is a catch you have to pay a monthly fee & no more then $150 a year . Its bad enough we pay a lot for insurance already to then pay a monthly fee as if DRS and nurses dont make enough as it is.
I gave this provider a two, because they have a great esthetic; however, that is where it ends. Their follow-up regarding serious medical issues does not exist. They continuously want to schedule appointments, but do nothing to resolve issues. Anything that requires more than one step will not get done.
I had a great experience with Tia for my preconception and prenatal care. Everyone at Tia was helpful, friendly, and responsive. The support staff are wonderful. I’ve since moved out-of-state, but I would sign up for Tia again without hesitation.
Excellent Massage as always Ms Bonny! Love the new space its beautifully decorated. I am looking forward to my next appointment and trying out the other services. I feel amazing and slept like a baby.
The team is incredibly friendly! The office is beautiful, modern and clean with soft pop music playing. This is how all health and wellness experiences should be. They care about your overall well being.
Do not be fooled. This is a concierge practice. They will say that they accept you’re insurance, but you are most certainly going to be “out of network”. Not something they will know or tell you, they seemed to have zero clue about billing or cost shares.
I really wanted to like this place, but being charged 300 bucks just to video chat and confirm information I already provided to them is crazy. Then the video chat is listed as an Office visit with my insurance, thats false.
Wish I could give this place infinite praise. They took a really nervous, apprehensive patient and made me feel comfortable, valued, and heard from the second I walked in. Friendly receptionist, knowledgable and respectful providers, and beautiful space!
Great vibes! I had a great experience with friendly and attentive staff. Environment is inviting, calming and creates a better healthcare visit for women.
Great experience! Easy and quick appointment reservation. Providers are knowledgeable and listen. It was a bit tricky to find the on site location but once I finally found it, the appointment was smooth and a pleasure!
I’ve been a Tia patient for almost two years. I am very Thankful for the easy access to mental healthcare that Tia provides. 🙏💙🙌
My wife went and said it was The best experience she’s had with a women’s clinic. No wait time, very clean, and great staff.
10/10 would recommend. This is the first time in my life I felt heard. It was the first good medical experience I ever had.
This clinic made a health care visit a walk in the park. I have never felt more comfortable, heard, and seen!
Staff and providers are so friendly, and they genuinely care about you.
They didnt call me like they were supposed to. That tells me all I need to know right there.
Great experience!
