Dr. Jacobs is AMAZING. I have been going to him since 2012 when he was at his previous practice. He listens, he is honest, and he will never make you feel bad about any of your decisions or choices. I was pregnant under his care twice. Both pregnancies required much more attention then Dr. Jacobs and Holy Cross could give and both times he referred me out to his colleagues at University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore. After I delivered I returned to his care for regular annual visits. I would recommend him to anyone. My babies are now 4 and 8. He is excellent.
Doctor Jacobs is caring, attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. Additionally he is very engaging aging with his clients and clients and can pretty much talk to a rock! He makes people feel at ease and explains whats going on. I found him to be fantastic. Thank you.
I Love Love Love my Dr Jacobs so much and I absolutely loved the care I always recieved at each visit. The staff was always so nice to me and I loved every single of them. It was so great to always be greated with a smile and everyone was on top of their stuff. Going back soon and I recommend this place to all my friends.
Dr Lauren was incredible. She was my sole OB for the (almost) two years that I was out there. She diagnosed my medical problem and at the same time, saw me through my entire pregnancy. I was so lucky to have her deliver our son and she was amazing. She always made sure I was doing okay after I had my baby whenever I went in and the whole staff there are just the nicest people youll meet. Didnt go in for a long time but about a week before we moved back to Cali, I went and saw her for a checkup and everyone remembered me and loved how big my son got. It made me sad leaving them and that office because they set my standards so high. Couldnt recommend this place enough.
The office staff, medical assistants, and Dr. Friedman are kind and professional. I felt that my concerns were being taken seriously and addressed. The waiting area was very comfortable. I appreciated that the exam itself was quicker than Im used to and the doctor made sure to keep me comfortable. Ill definitely be coming back and recommending this office to my friends.
A friend of mine recommended this practice due to her experience with Dr. Jacobs understanding of her child-free lifestyle in the past. As a woman in my mid-20s, Ive had multiple years of gynaecologists turning me down for a tubal ligation and I turned here most recently due to that recommendation. When making my appointment with Dr. Jacobs, the nurse told me that it would be a good idea to get a letter of support from a therapist. So in the weeks leading up to the appointment I met multiple times with a local therapist to discuss my choice to be childfree and to make sure that I was making said decision with the best intentions. She agreed that I was and wrote me a letter of support. When I went to my appointment I brought said therapist letter, as well as letters of support from my mother and boyfriend who also came to the appointment with me. Dr. Jacobs was warm and kind and supremely understanding. He said that while he thought I did deserve the surgery, it wasnt up to him. Due to my age and lack of children, he would have to go to all of the doctors in the practice and get them to approve the procedure. He told me to give him ten days and then call the office. I left this appointment quite hopeful.I ended up calling three separate times and leaving multiple messages with nurses. Nearly three weeks after said appointment I got a call from a medical assistant telling me that they were moving me forward in the process and Id be meeting with Dr. Julie Glass to discuss next steps. I was ecstatic! When I went for my appointment with Dr. Glass she made it clear that this wasnt the next step in the process, but that Dr. Jacobs had transferred my case to her. I asked if he had spoken to the doctors to get their approval and I was told by Dr. Glass that all of what he said about that was incorrect, as in, he had blatantly, point blank lied to me and my loved ones. In actuality, the decision about this procedure comes down to the individual doctor. She said that while she supports my ability to choose, she no longer does surgery and wasnt sure why Dr. Jacobs had transferred me to her and not another doctor in the practice who does surgery. I found out then that Dr. Jacobs also doesnt do surgery anymore, which was something he never mentioned.Dr. Glass could tell how frustrated I was and said that only three doctors in the practice do these types of operations and she called them to see if any would be willing to take my case. After nearly 15 minutes out of the office, she returned to say that the only doctor who would consider taking my case was Dr. Block, but that she was relatively sure it wouldnt happen due to my age. She then took me to the front and I scheduled in with Dr. Block. While at the desk, Dr. Jacobs was right nearby and acted like he didnt even know me. I called a couple days later and cancelled my appointment with Dr. Block because after thinking about it for a while I realised that this practice was just stringing me along. They had no intention of doing a tubal for me even though I supplied them with all of the documents and info they asked for. They were using me to bill insurance for full gyno appointments and taking my copay money. Its disappointing to say the least. Ive been turned down for tubals multiple times over the years, but Ive never had a medical practice conduct themselves so unprofessionally. Ive never been treated with such a lack of respect.
I am so glad I found Dr. Jacobs after my friend forwarded his practice info.Dr. Jacobs is very professional with his diagnose, warm and friendly bedside manner, and take his time to listen to his patient and make proper recommendations. Fantastic doctor!
I have been going to this practice for 3+ years. I have a prolapse and history of severe menstruation. Right now I live in fear of my period. On 1/24, I met with my regular Dr and Dr Ng where we decided on a hysterectomy. It is 3/9 and I have no hysterectomy scheduled. Ive had several follow-up calls with their office, expressed my frustration. Tuesday, I called the corporate office where I was referred to the practice manager in Silver Spring. Left her a voicemail before noon 3/7. COB 3/8, I had not received a return call. I dont understand their game here as I am suffering. I really like my Dr. But I cannot recommend this practice and have decided to find a new practice. My trust is broken.
Dr. Ronald Jacob is one of a kind, an amazing doctor and person. Dr. Jacob is my OB since 2010. And I will recommend him 100%
My experience with Dr. Glass and her associates was phenomenal. I especially love Dr. Glass’s genuine advice you can tell that it comes from the heart.Everyone was extremely professional.
Dr. Lauren Ng, MD is amazing. And she also speaks Brazilian Portuguese. This was my best experience in a doctors appointment here in the US. 😊
Dr. Brooks is an amazing GYN, he always make me feel comfortable. Ive been a patient of his for over 10 years.
I have been seeing Dr. Brooks for almost 10 years and he is simply the best. Very attentive, listens and I feel very comfortable always.
Doctors are excellent and professional! But medical assistants and central line (phone contact) works pretty bad! They are rude and not helpful at all.Sometimes they even return your call.
All the doctors in this practice are phenomenal. Feels like one big family every time I visit🤍. Thank you!!
I moved to Contemporary OB/GYN following Dr. Jacobs. No regrets ever!
