I had an absolutely *horrendous* experience at Planned Parenthood today. I made this appointment THREE WEEKS ago, and during that time, I asked not once, but TWICE, if I needed a referral from my primary care physician. Each time, I was reassured with a confident, “No, you do not need a referral.” Fast forward to today: after driving over 40 minutes, rearranging my entire schedule, and mentally preparing for this visit, I was greeted at the front desk with a bombshell. The receptionist casually informs me that I DO, in fact, need a referral, and without one, my options were either to fork over $2200 on the spot or simply lose my appointment.I was stunned. How could they make such a massive mistake, after *repeatedly* assuring me I was good to go? This level of incompetence is mind-blowing. They completely wasted my time, caused me unnecessary stress, and left me feeling helpless and furious. How can a healthcare provider get something so fundamental wrong? I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone—unless youre prepared to be misled and mistreated.
I got the Paragaurd (copper, nonhormonal) IUD put in yesterday by Naccolaine (a lovely nurse practiciner), and it went way better than I expected. Naccolaine was so kind and reassuring and answered all of my questions before and after. Our conversation through the procedure helped calm my nerves (and there were A LOT of nerves to calm). I have heard all the horror stories of getting IUDs inserted. I was fortunate to only have some intense cramps. It feels weird, and it is uncomfortable. It depends on your body how badly it effects you! I have had nothing but strong period-like cramps and some light bleeding since! Very thankful that my prodecdure went so smoothly! Everyone at this planned parenthood is kind and so so helpful during a stressful experience! I do reccomend :)
Definitely further than I wanted to drive, but I needed to see a specific doctor. I was received immediately and was taken back by Miss A. She helped me get situated and I was treated by Dr. B. Both made me feel very welcomed and helped explain exactly what to expect. They were very kind to keep me relaxed and give me as much time as I needed. This visit has been my best to date. I want to thank the staff for being phenomenal in their excellent care and service today.
I had a great experience. I called to get an appointment. Got there on time, checked in, was called in within 5 mins. The desk lady and the tech were nice. Dominique Cooper, NP did all my exams and was extremely gentle and understanding.
I had a great experience here! The Planned Parenthood staff is so easy to talk to over the phone, and you can tell they know their stuff. They helped me figure everything out about my IUD insertion and what to expect upon arrival. My initial appointment did have to be rescheduled for the next day since the gynecologist who was originally going to perform the insertion was unable to come in. I didn’t mind, and though the wait times were a tad lengthy, it was all worth it. Everything ran smoothly, both during check-in and as soon as I was called back. I was guided through everything that needed to be done throughout the appointment. The people here are very organized! Though I was nervous, I knew I was in good hands.
Had a great experience here. The staff were fringe and helpful. I needed blood work done and have a fear of needles. The tech was very understanding. I closed my eyes and she talked with me. Before I knew it, it was all done. 10/10. Will be going back for my other health care.Thabk you Pp.
Being my first time getting a pap I was extremely nervous but the ladies here quickly had me at ease. Every single lady I talked to was very polite and informative. I was never uncomfortable and the whole visit took less than an hour. They have patients coming in to check in and then waiting outside to prevent covid spread and I think thats amazing. I will 100% come back. Thank you ladies for all your help!Edit: After 2 years of coming to this location im still blown away at Dr.Coopers eagerness to provide the best service possible. She always takes my concerns seriously and makes sure Im informed and doing whats best for me. I will always come back to her!
Came in today for a STD screening and birth control. Got both, very efficient, quick, and friendly staff. Everything was inexpensive and I don’t have insurance but was able to cover everything easily myself.
Completely amazing! Everyone was so kind to me, even though i was late! The nurse who removed my implant was amazing, she was perfect at the removal and kept me distracted the whole time. I was terrified lol but it went smoothly!! The staff was amazing, i want to bring back business cards so they’ll be friends with me 😂
Had such a great experience! I came to this location since high school but have had the implant so it’s been 6years. The staff is so great! They took extra measures to ensure safety due to Covid. They made me feel so comfortable and informed. I was in and out! I had the removal of my implant and started back on the depo shot. Look forward to my next visit in July! Thanks ladies for you help and kindness 😊
Excellent customer service. They use MyChart for digital files. There is no longer STI free testing even though the CDC website mentions it. Insurance is required for all visits or in site payments.
Great facility! Very clean and organized. I was able to book a same day appointment to which i was attended to by Giselle. They were able to make my appointment quick and easy as well as painless! Highly recommend.
Wow just wow. As the phone call started the lady started having an attitude and I explain myself twice what I wanted an appointment for and she just said how much would it cost and I was about to tell her when she has an appointment and just hang up on me. This is so unprofessional I have never been treated like this. I really don’t recommend them if that lady on the phone had an attitude imagine the rest of them!
Been here several times. Never had any big problems except one time my appointment was scheduled and I waited in the waiting room a good while before I was called back. Uninsured and theyre affordable. Like 30$ for the clinic visit when normal doctors want to charge me 60$+ for just the visit. Went to get the patch after I couldnt do the pill (I was throwing up and nauseous all the time). It seemed like the girl was reading up on the patch and learning as she was trying to explain the details to me. I read on the patch so it wasnt any new information. Pretty quick on getting my prescription to the pharmacy. At one point I visited STD testing was very discounted.
As a self-pay patient, St. Lukes referred me here to have my Skyla IUD removed and Im glad that they did. The nurse practioner was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I was in and out within 10 minutes and didnt have to pay a fortune for a simple procedure.
I came for a check up on a Wednesday with my appointment being at 10:30AM. After being checked on blood pressure and weight, nurse Paula did not come until after 30 minutes. I have been waiting in the room and was not given an apology or a sincere welcome. I was not impressed with their service.
Customer service is very poor. My appointment was rescheduled due to the holiday. I get to the office to only find out I was booked for the wrong location. The representative placed me on the schedule to be seen. The office has no patients besides myself and one other person. I arrived at 5:50 for my 6pm appointment; and still have not been seen. I can hear the staff laughing in the back. What happened to customer service???
I had a great experience today! It was my first time here so I had to fill up some information, everything was fast and went smoothly. I did a pap test and was a little nervous but all the staff were so nice and helpful. And answered all my questions.
I had a appointment today at 9:50. I arrived at 9:40. I didnt get called back until 10:30. I was asked some questions and was then told to undress from the waist down and was given a piece of paper to cover up with. I then sat on that cold table for 25 mins waiting for whoever to come it. At 11:00 I got up put on my clothes and walked out the door. Can someone please tell me whats the point in making a appointment if your not going to be seen in a reasonable amount of time. This is 1 place I will not be rerurning!
Everyone was so wonderful and informative! I was taken back literally 10 minutes after check out and my appointment went by so quickly and painlessly! Thank you to all the wonderful women who helped me with my first pap smear today! ❤️
Meh. Its a slower, more cumbersome clinic than just going to your regular doctor. Pointless if you have insurance because they charge you Specialist prices to see a nurse. I got there 30 minutes early but I was still waiting an hour after my appointment. They dont seem to know what to do with males. Call, give insurance info. Arrive, give insurance info. Wait, give more personal information. I just want STD tests. If its harder to get tested than it is to just live with an STD, why bother going to a clinic? Just lie and say you dont have insurance so the government will cover it and you dont have to wait 2 hours to pee in a cup. Playing Dr. Oz on the TV in the waiting room was a red flag.
This is such a comfortable, wonderful place to get an exam done! It was my first PAP smear and I was nervous but all the ladies in the office and the ones who were involved in the process were so sweet and calming! Definitely my go to place!
Fast, friendly, and clean. I refill my birth control once a month and Im always in and out in minutes, and everyone is very nice.I get my yearly exams and its just as easy, always a good experience
My apt was at 1:10. Was taken back in a timely manner. Ended up paying less than they quoted me over the phone. Planned Parenthood has always treated me so well!!! I love them! Great staff
Nurse Dominique helped me out. She displayed absolutely amazing professionalism in helping me during my exam. Everyone was very kind and courteous.
They gave us no time to ask questions and jumped right into it without making sure we were ready. Very rude, no social skills at all.
Great experience had an appointment booked same day was in and out everyone was nice and will be back again for anything needed !!
They didnt put my IUD in right and they didnt tell me its SUGGESTED u go back for an ultrasound to make sure your IUD is placed correctly. Went to my new OBGYN 2 weeks ago and found out Im pregnant with the paraguard. Go somewhere else. unless u just need some test results. I wouldnt suggest going here. The security was real tight though they had a man outside who had to swipe a card to open the door for u.
Sames as above. Appt was for 3pm, got there 30 mins early, and didnt get into room until after 4:30pm. And deductible paid was the same I would pay specialty doctor. Staff was very nice though. And once I finally got back there, it was quick.
I had been going to this place for years, I just went recently because I wanted to get tested for STDS, and I was told that they didnt accept medicaid. This was a surprise 😲 for me because I know this is the number one 1⃣ reason why any woman would be coming here. For that reason why I give it one 1⃣ stars.
I Usually have very positive experiences at this location but this visit was horrible nurse Dominique Cooper was very dismissive, I initially booked a wellness exam please note that at the time of booking I expressed concerns of breast pain (I have implants) I also wanted Sti testing/pelvic exam..I get there someone came in took a urine sample took some blood and told me to undress top and bottom, as I’m waiting to be seen the same nurse comes back in to tell me Dominque will not do a pelvic and breast exam I had to choose one over the other HUGE inconvenience, she told me to ask for a referral because since I have implants they would have to give me a referral anyway since they cannot treat breast implant illness or any other complications associated with the implants.. once Dominique came in she told me that I shouldn’t have been told that I could do both of exams in one visit at the time of booking so she apologized but still refused after I expressed that I was in pain, I then asked for a referral at check out and she refused to give me a referral because she said I didn’t get the breast exam from her.. ok so you refuse to do the breast exam and refuse to give me a referral because you didn’t do the exam ? I will never come back to this location, I’m self pay no insurance this visit was suppose to be 119 breast exam included… instead it came out to 326 without the breast exam, they seemed more concerned about the money than caring for the me as a patient worst experience ever they do not care about you or your concerns do not book here
The staff is kind and wonderful, I highly recommend coming in. Also, I do agree that the phone experience when booking was ok but dont let that deter you from how nice the staff is when you come in.
Daniella is always so sweet, comforting and takes time to explain things to you without making you feel like a bother. Love this place. Quick and professional. Not expensive for those without insurance too.
I had very Great Experience at this location! I had birth control procedure/Examination done here and the staff members were very understanding and patient and great with communication I will be coming back to this location for my check up :) Thanks!
I love the atmosphere. I felt comfortable. Gentle needle work re: blood. Clean. It was my 1st time and it didnt take a long time. Highly recommended.
Nice. Clean. Short wait. However, they might only do TESTING/CONFIRMATION on some but not the treatment. So if you got symptoms, you can go here for a TESTING but you might have to look elsewhere for treatment.
After often waiting many months to secure gyno visits at other places, I thought I would try them. They booked me right away and gave me everything I needed in a friendly and efficient way.
I went to get my Nexplanon birth control removed and everyone I dealt with/spoke with were awesome! Very nice staff and didn’t cost an arm and a leg❤️
Whats the point of appointments if we are going to wait for an hour anyway.. i came for an iud and could not even get it because they had to make sure i wasnt pregnant (this could have been mentioned during counseling a week prior!) I thought paraguard could be used as emergency contraception anyway.. waste of time!!!
I went in knowing what I needed and they did not want to give me the right paper work so now I have wasted my time, money, and patience with these people. I will not be coming back.
I hate when I have to call, all I need is to ask for a refill for my medication and it’s been a week now and sometimes it’s either the phone is not in service or I have to be on wait as number 17 for a week now? I’m not sure if this is something they control but it’s ridiculous.
Excellent service. Exceptional COVID protocol. My annual exam was easy enough for being an annual exam.
They told me to make a tele health appointment took my money and I sat in the online waiting room for over a hour after my appointment...so I got ripped off 50 bucks for the appointment and I’m out of my medicine and have to pay for another appointment.
Very impressed with the office and staff! Got in and out in a reasonably short amount of time. Very professional staff!
Staff was very nice, friendly, and informative. I loved it here!
Long wait times and unprofessional staff.
I love it
Best have an baby on the way
Nurse practitioner is a joke!
