Staff is very courteous and friendly. Dr Potts is the best OBGYN I have been to! She was empathetic, listens to your concerns and provided several treatment options. She was very respectful to my cultural beliefs and worked out a treatment plan that works effectively. I’m so glad to have this clinic as a part of my care team. Definitely recommend!
The OBs, nurses, and midwifes in this clinic are fantastic. Such sweet and caring ladies. The front desk gals are also amazing. Would recommend for care during and after your pregnancy.
We received our primary care for two pregnancies at this office, and they were wonderful. They were compassionate when the first ended unfortunately, and we went right back for the second and ultimately successful pregnancy. The latter was considered high risk due to the first, so we were in a LOT. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
My entire family were patients at this clinic then our provider unceremoniously ended her practice without much notice. As if that wasnt bad enough we werent absorbed by other practice members. Mind you this is right at the beginning of the year when you need physicals and all sorts of forms. Then I tried to establish care with a provider my children had gone to before. I made the appointment two weeks in advance. I arrived at the appointment, only for a staff member to tell me that the provider wasnt taking new patients. Why would you wait until the day of? She tried to act like shed tried to reach out. I immediately checked my MyChart, no message. And she left a voicemail as we were prepping to come to the appointment. I was on the books for weeks! This is in the middle of the school and work day. The practice has clearly become unorganized and they have no regard for patients who have been with them for years.
I cant say enough about how good my care has been here! I just went through a surgery with Dr. Potts and I have been pleasantly suprised with this facilities responsiveness to messages and any questions I have had along the way. This has not been my experience with a medical center in a very long time. Its so nice to feel cared for and listened to. Truly grateful for an all around positive experience and friendly staff.
This clinic is really great. Especially the family planning located upstairs. Everyone is so friendly and their customer service is amazing especially all the ladies at the front desk. I saw Stephanie Benson here as my midwife and I love her! My entire pregnancy and delivery all the way to my 6 week PP check up has been so smooth and reassuring. 10/10.
I came here for care during my first pregnancy in 2019. It went really went, I was never overlooked & the office/doctors were organized. I came back for my second pregnancy this year & they have clearly given my doctor to many patients then she can take on working only part time. I’ve been waiting for a call for 3 days now to get a refill on a important medication I’ve been out on. I’ve called every day & have been told I would get a call back that day and nothing… I’m very disappointed with the office & my doctor this time around. She is very in and out & feels like she doesn’t remember her patients very well.
Be careful about what you book your appointment for. I went in as a new client and had to wait 90 days to be seen. Once there I was under the impression they were doing an annual exam (which is covered by insurance.) turns out instead it was a “new patient exam with extended time” which was a 400 bill! I called to see if they could swap the codes but was told that I couldn’t because my extended new patient exam was not as detailed as an annual exam. So basically I have to pay more for an exam that is almost the same, but wasn’t as extensive. The staff was friendly which I appreciated, but the doctors seem over loaded and the billing doesn’t take the clients financial needs in mind.
This clinic has seriously gone downhill over the past 2 years. They have yet to replace Dr Maybee so there is only one doctor and one midwife at this location! My previous OB left this clinic and after so many recommendations, I chose to see Sekhon. She was very attentive, supportive, and nice during appointments but be warned…1. She’s only part time. If you’re not delivering on her day at the hospital you won’t be seeing her at your delivery. Which is fine, except she doesn’t tell you that up front. I found out just days prior to my delivery. After having Dr Maybee who was willing to drive home from her vacation if I went into early labor I was appalled that she was so inflexible.2. The only DOCTOR in the clinic, Dr Sekhon is chronically unavailable. The only other provider in the clinic is a midwife. Now she is great, but it’s not enough staff at this location. You don’t get very many choices on your appointments because she has a limited schedule and takes on too many patients. I had several appointments rescheduled or canceled which is such a burden when you work full time and have other children that you need to find childcare for. Then PP I had an issue and she said to come back after 2 weeks if it wasn’t better. But 2 weeks later when I tried to get an appointment they said they had no opening with her for several weeks. I refused to see another provider so they said they would talk to her and call me back to schedule. I heard nothing for days. Then Dr Sekhon sent a message that she would call me by end of day. Fast forward 2 weeks and still nothing. I finally got seen but it was with the other provider.3. Dr Sekhon is not forward. Several times she lied to me. She claimed the hospital moved my planned c section up in time and tried to convince me earlier in the day was better, but then later admitted it was her day off and she didn’t have childcare for the afternoon so she needed to start earlier. Which is fine, just be straight with me. She never once discussed the option of being induced for a VBAC even though I kept telling her I wanted to try vaginally if I went into labor. I only discovered I could do this in her notes after my visit that said she discussed this option with me. It was stressful making a new plan just a day before delivery. Then PP her note shows a full examine on me- describing my breast tissue. She never once looked or felt my breasts at that appointment. This experience was horrible and I will not be returning to this clinic.
Incredible staff. The doctors are all kind and attentive, they listen to what youre saying rather than just brushing off your concerns and giving you whatever the most convenient diagnosis is. I have seen Dr. Norman Seaholm, Dr. Urban, and Dr. Quick in the past year or so of being a patient, and they have all provided excellent care. The reception staff is wonderful as well, they are kind and help you as quickly as possible, whether its over the phone to schedule an appointment or in person getting you checked in. I have never received this level of care from other clinics or hospitals like Evergreen Health. When youre on hold, its the good Cisco hold music, so I dont even mind waiting a few minutes. Plus, you can submit messages to your doctor through MyChart and they always respond within a day or so. LOVE this place.
Making a new patient appointment is absolutely ridiculous. I understand that it often takes a while for new patient appointments to be scheduled, but a 5 month wait is just plain ridiculous. I dont understand how they say that they are accepting new patients when the backlog is that long. To make matters worse, the phone schedulers and incredibly slow to get the the scheduling details - if the appointment wait is that long, they would be better sharing that upfront rather than 10 minutes into a conversation. HOWEVER, I have always been given good care at this clinic.
😔 i sent over my documents a week ago and was told me 2-3 days for a call back. no one ever called me. it seems like this place doesn’t even want top provide for me. none of my phone experiences went well. especially the very last one where i explained to her that a receptionist told me i’d be contacted within 2-3 days. i had an appointment somewhere else for the 6th but they’re closing down so i’m a week overdue for an appointment. i was going to come here but honestly i’m just gonna find somewhere else to go. i don’t feel welcomed or like this place wants to provide to me.
Worst patient care!!!!!!! Don’t even think about going here for your ob appts. Waited more than two weeks for my first prenatal visit which Carol, the patient advocate, made initially who said nothing about a virtual visit then Heather, another “just scheduler” called me a day before my appt and said my appt will turn into a virtual one and told me not a whole lot of things can be done. They had all that time to call me and inform me ahead of time and I’d be more understanding but very very upset and disappointed fact that this was told on the day of my appt and def not what I expected. She said she had a new hire who didn’t know what she was saying. Then train her right and don’t lead patients to a false expectations. I wished to get my pregnancy confirmed from today’s appt but turned into a nothing but a phone call consult.
Laurie R is incredible, she really took the time to hear my concerns and go through everything with me. Such a breath of fresh air compared to previous medical experiences and interactions. Even the women working at the front desk were so nice and make you feel like you’re the only one there. Thank you guys for everything
I saw Marianne Marryshow for 17 weeks during my current pregnancy. She was nice enough, but very blunt and not helpful to someone going through a first pregnancy. When I decided to see a midwife I was hoping for a more compassionate and personal experience, which I did not receive. In addition to short abrupt appointments, she almost seemed to tease me a little bit for asking about insurance coverage on a breast pump too early, and the point that I decided to stop seeing her was when she reacted poorly can unprofessionally when she saw that I had gained about 20 pounds in 26 weeks. Not only did she react as though I had just gained a hundred pounds making me feel terrible, she then warned me that I would be huge by the time I gave birth, and compared me to her own experience of only gaining 20 pounds total for both of her pregnancies and leaving the hospital in her regular clothing. I think thats really great for her, but she really needs to be more sensitive to the fact that shes talking to women who may have issues with their weight. Not only did she make me feel so terrible that I was in tears by the time I got to the grocery store on my way home, she also advised that I go on a diet, gave me a minimal weight goal for the next appointment, and didnt seem very open to discussing the causes of my weight gain, she just kept telling me that I was obviously eating too much and stuffing my face with too much bread and carbs. It was quite rude overall, and I have had a much better experience with my new Midwife who has not only told me that I am in a normal range for my weight gain and belly measurement, but also takes the time to speak with me about any issues or questions I have rather than just brushing them off as unimportant.
The level of compassion, knowledge, patience and expertise that Dr. sekon demonstrates with her patients is unsurpassable. She is hands down the best OB GYN and she has made this experience truly unforgettable. I had an amazing experience with my first OB GYN during my first pregnancy, but the care and experience that Ive had under Dr. sekon has truly exceeded all my expectations. The front desk staff, reception and nurse practitioners are phenomenal. Taylor, Anna, Haylie, Kylie, Tara... the entire staff. You will never find a more warm, giving of their time, caring, talented group of individuals who give high quality care.
I went to Marianne Marryshow for a postpartum check up and was thoroughly unimpressed with her bedside manner. I gave birth at The Birthing Inn and it was an amazing experience in spite of having a tough delivery since my baby girl had her hand next to her head during delivery. I was telling Marianne that I had a rough delivery as part of my background and she interrupted my sentence to say, condescendingly, Thats why we have babies in hospitals. Then continued to go on about it after I told her that that was the experience I chose and was happy with it. Then she proceeded to give me a rough pelvic exam. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Not sure who they have answering questions over the phone at Northshore clinic but they clearly don’t know what their talking about. I asked about flu shot times at the clinic and was told they give them 8-5... well guess what that’s not true. People plan their schedules accordingly and to show up and find out that’s not the case. The lady went home at 3. I’m trying to give multicare a chance but over the years I’ve only come across 2 great drs. And the way they do billing is insane. I’m trying to stick this out and not switch offices but I’m really concerned about the way they do business.
In general: I have been coming to this clinic for years and have only positive things to say. All of the staff members are friendly and helpful.Specifically: Dr.Seaholm is my primary care physician, and has been for over 5 years. He is always friendly and informative. He always addresses my questions and concerns, and I never leave an appointment with unanswered questions. Simply put, he is a wonderful doctor. Highly recommend.
Dr. Gabrielle Maybee is amazing! She is very thorough and makes sure you understand every process. She delivered my high risk twins and I couldnt have imagined anyone else doing it. She makes you feel very comfortable! I will never see anyone else besides her! TRUST HER! if she says she can do it she CAN! Even if others say no and she says yes trust her. She would never do anything she wasnt comfortable with.
RUDE! The middle aged white lady with brown hair immediately met me with an attitude and called me out for being 5 minutes late. I was really thrown off with how abrasive she was! Then as I sat and filled out paperwork, her and another co worker started talking poorly about a doctor (who is retiring) right infront of me! Both were also talking about how they are looking for other jobs because they hate this place. How unbelievably unprofessional! Will never be back to this office. Such an unwelcoming, uncomfortable vibe.
They are professional and are kind. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in the same day. Marianne Marryshow is funny and she does a great job at educating her patients. The front office and back office staff are all great.
Not happy with the lack of professionalism and service from Dr Maybee. I had an 11:30am appt I showed up to 10 mins early. Got checked in and seen quickly by her CNA. Sat in the room with my newborn and 4 year old for over 30 mins waiting for Dr Maybee. I was the ONLY patient in the entire office and no one in the waitin room. I couldn’t figure out why I was sitting there waiting. I wasn’t able to continue to wait so I walked out the door and Dr Maybee is sitting in her office on her computer and doesn’t look up but mumbled something about asking me to wait longer. I looked at her and said, “ No, I’m leaving and won’t be back. I’ll be looking for a different OBGYN!” She apparently doesn’t want to take care of her patients nor check in with them in an empty office after waiting for over 30 mins. I could understand if the office was busy but I was the only patient there. Come on! Get your act together Dr Maybee!
The best GP and OB/GYN I have ever found! Dr Seaholm and Dr Poore are without a doubt the best doctors in their field. I started with them, and now take my whole family as well as several others whom I have referred. They all have given rave reviews.
I love my doctor. To me she feels like she really cares and will always have an answer to my question and responds to my messages fast. When I moved this is the place I chose and I highly recommend it because they’re doing a great job!
Im starting to get upset its been two week my lady has been tryna get prenatals for some reason they havent prescribed them hasnt been explained or anything! We called twice all they say is we sorry and say they put the prescription through. We gave them her info we gave them her insurance what else do they need. She needs her prenatals
Today is April 27, 2021 and both my wife and I have had both Covid shots and can provide proof. Yet, this medical facility will only allow 1 parent to accompany our child back to see the doctor. This is bad for families (both parents should be allowed to be involved in their child’s medical care) and it is anti-science. What other anti-science policies do they have?
Oh my heavens this is one of the greatest place you can be under the circumstances. The staff is always so kind...and MaryAnn, well I dont think they get any better or funnier than that! She always knows how to make you feel at ease and she makes sure you understand whats going on. Love, love, love them all! Thank you MaryAnn and team!
Made a new pt appointment had to wait 3 months to be seen. Get there and the Dr called in sick and had to reschedule. They told me I could go to urgent care if I wanted to be seen today.
Had a great expierence today with Laurie Rodenberg! She was so patient with my questions and was very empathetic and showed knowledge and care!
All the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! I look forward to having my future appointments here.
I’ve had a great experience at this clinic for the past two years.
Horrible doctors.horrible place. Rude doctors.
They dont seem to care much.
Highly recommend Gabrielle Maybee
POOR PATIENT CARE.
