Everyone (office manager, Dr. McCormick, Yani and her sister) were amazing!!! They were understanding, respectful, they listened to our concerns, they gave us several options, they were just amazing. Doctor McCormick didnt just show us a computer screen to give us statistics like other doctors have. She asked questions, sent me to get exams done, and so much more. They were the best. Ive already referred people to them.
Only great things to say about the entire staff at RMG! Piper is always the most kind nurse who will greet you at the front desk and has always been so extremely accommodating to help with blood draws despite my challenging schedule. She always takes me back with a warm smile, is exceptional with a needle, and beyond efficient at getting you in and out promptly. Lisa is also absolutely wonderful and makes ultrasounds the most easy and painless process ever. She is quick, extremely gentle, and always gives encouragement and helpful information. Highly, highly recommend the entire team for your reproductive journey!
I have been a patient at RMG for a short period of time, however I cant stress how amazing this office has been to me. The office manager Victoria, and Nurse Practitioner Elana have been nothing short of amazing during my time with RMG. They keep you well informed with your care, and are always willing to help if something comes up with scheduling. I recommend this Clinic to anyone seeking exceptional care. They have continued to make me feel comfortable and I fully trust this clinic with my care.
The South Tampa office is awesome. I had such a great experience both times I needed fertility help. Dr McCormick is wonderful and the office staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
I’m an outside monitoring patient, and the women at the south Tampa location have made the process really easy for me. The manager Victoria has been so great in helping me in getting my appointments when I needed them even taking the time after hours to help me. Everyone from the front staff to the back have been so great and kind! Angelica and Darixa have been super helpful! The RN Christina has made all my appointments quick and easy! The ultrasound tech Courtney has made all my ultrasounds comfortable and stress free. Also want to give a big thank you to Dr. McCormick for being so accommodating and helping me through my fertility journey. If you’re ever at the South Tampa location, then you’re in really great hands!
I have nothing but incredible things to say about this clinic! I have been through a lot in the past 3 years trying to get pregnant with another fertility clinic (CCRM) and it was a complete nightmare. We switched to RMG and my doctor was Dr. McCormick. She was more than just a phenomenal doctor, she was so personable, kind, and gave me and my husband so much hope. We went through IVF and got pregnant on our first try! She is so meticulous with each step she takes, ensuring the best possible chances of success. I’m now just a few weeks shy of reaching my second trimester and I couldn’t be happier! Her office in south Tampa with all the staff and my IVF nurse (Elana) were all angels. Very responsive and reassuring. If you’re looking for a team that will bring you success I highly recommend Dr. McCormick and her South Tampa staff! Best decision we ever made and we will definitely go back when we’re ready to transfer another embryo!
Never sent me the appt link. Messed up insurance & didn’t provide amount owed - which was incorrect- until 20 minutes before the appt time that they never sent a link for. Repeatedly told me I was incorrect when I had my insurance provider on the other line indicating the clinic was incorrect. Wouldn’t let me finish speaking & then hung up on me. Do NOT use this fertility provider. An infertility specialist should make it a seamless, stress-free experience. If the first interaction is this poor with the clinic’s effort to resolve being hanging up on the client, can you even imagine what the fertility journey would be like. Thankfully, I recorded the call & work for the company who added this provider to their recommended Center of Excellence and am able to report the clinic for this. Save yourself the time & visit Shady Grove.
I’ve been through the process of freezing my eggs with the group last year and every step was a nightmare. Dr. McCormick is good in-person, but that is a very small piece of the equation in the process. Calls were almost never returned, billing issues (on the group’s end) were very time-consuming and circular conversations, proper expectations of the process were not set, medication instructions were vague to say the least, nurses are rude and dismissive, pelvic exams are rough and traumatic, blood draws blew out my veins multiple times (I have amazing veins- nurse even commented that before she destroyed my arms)…. By the end of the experience they had to use my hands because of the mess they made while they rushed… and if you need any support (and you will or at least someone to ask questions to) nobody from the practice is interested or available to help. I ended up having to just go and show up in-person and darken the lobby to get things done. Sometimes crying in the lobby just to get someone to be human enough to help answer a question. Even paying for storage freezing took 2 hours of calls. Now, they have switched systems and all of my medical records and documents are gone from the app. I had to go pick up hundreds of papers to try and get the history. Also, when I was there at the office today there wasn’t a single incoming call so I an pretty positive they route all calls elsewhere- seeing how many communication issues have been shared I am shocked they haven’t turned the ringer on. I think they are severely understaffed and who is there is burnt out. My experience here took an already stressful and challenging situation and made it the worst possible experience possible. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else where you will be treated with empathy and like a human.
From lost samples to poor communication, and never returning phone calls to answer my concerns, I am very disappointed. I had to call them several times to follow up on results. A lot of wasted time on my end. Some of the staff was kind over the phone, but at the end of the day they dropped the ball. When it comes to your healthcare, you dont want that happening. To be clear, I dealt with lab/front staff, this is not a reflection of their physicians, it appears to be more administrative in nature I wont be returning and I hope they improve for future clients, especially those who are already going through a difficult time family planning.
I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to say thank you enough to both the office staff and the dr’s at this facility. Being a female/female couple already comes with heightened emotions when we walk into public let alone places as such saying we want children. A warm welcome, total acceptance, using proper verbiage, not discounting the non pregnant person…the list goes on. We wouldn’t have wanted any other experience. We have even gotten our friends to switch practices to RMG! I can’t wait to bring in our new baby to see the people who helped us make it happen.
This only pertains to the South Tampa location at The Reproductive Medicine Group. To reach them by phone, you have to call an off-site call center. Communication via phone really lacks at this location. It is impossible to get someone on the phone and voicemails sometimes get returned 2 days later, sometimes never. Again, I think The Reproductive Medicine Group as a whole is good, just the lack of communication is a real problem in the South Tampa location. I would recommend skipping this branch and going to the North Tampa location.
I was a patient of theirs five years ago. I still have trauma related to my visit here, so much so that I now need a tranquilizer for pelvic exams. I never said anything because I thought maybe it was just me, but I was so bothered by the similar reviews here that I HAD to say something.Firstly, yes, the customer service is atrocious. I dared to ask a question about my insurance and got rolled eyes and attitude. I had to fight them tooth and nail over being billed for an ultrasound that is part of the process of getting an IUD (should have been FREE), I skipped out on them entirely because of them.I firmly believe they mistreated me because they are a fertility clinic and I was coming for an IUD after terminating a pregnancy. The NP was VERY rough with me, they were beyond rude to me… the trauma was when she was shoving the measuring rod inside of my cervix and telling me, in a very irritated manner, that I needed to calm down or I was going to pass out. Like it was inconveniencing her that I was in pain.To top this all off, when I went for the ultrasound to check the placement, the tech said “Hmm… do you get regular periods?” and I said yes. I asked repeatedly for a follow up on what this meant and never got an answer. I never went back after this experience.AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
The South Tampa office is Thebomb.com!! First let me say there is NOTHING Easy about IVF, however this practice made the process seamless. Dr. Yeko and the entire staff were absolutely amazing. A BIG THANK YOU to Maggie (Front Desk) , Lisa (Sono) and Yolanda (BW Nurse). It’s women like you that make this journey simple and comfortable. You ladies are truly god sent! The staff over at the RMG surgery center (North Tampa) provide nothing but compassionate and professional care. Renee from the after hours team took care of my calls and followed up with me after each procedure.I would recommend Dr. Yeko to anyone seeking fertility treatment, especially if you want a Doctor with great bedside manner. I am now pregnant after our 1st frozen transfer with a BOY and as happy as I am to be released to my OBGYN I am very sad to be leaving the office!
I attempted to come here for an HSG per the recommendation of my OBGYN. When I called to inquire about the cost and insurance coverage, they told me that they DID accept uhc but it would not cover the procedure, which would cost me around $700. I thought that was odd so I called my insurance again and read off all of the codes on the referral, my insurance told me it WAS covered, and would go towards my deductible. So I called another clinic Dr. Sanchez in Clearwater and they charged me the negotiated rate which was $175. I think this clinic just doesn’t want to accept the negotiated rate, they’d rather have you private pay full price. This interaction made me wonder how trustworthy they are when it comes to cost transparency
I currently go to this location and I hate it. Trying to get a staff member on the phone at the South Tampa office is IMPOSSIBLE. The customer service here is awful. They make you feel very rushed, ushered out and overall not heard as a patient. Save your time and money and go to an office other than their South Tampa one.
They state or corporate need to check this location and check some patients there how they treat patients there .they act like theyre so special that why they dont care if you want you come if you dont want you go i dont even know how the hell the got that king of clinic
I would not recommend to friends or family. I was under their care from 2018-2022 and there were many hiccups in communication along the way. Ultimately, I left after a very traumatic experience that almost cost me my life (and/or my ovaries) which could have been avoided.
Poor customer service skills. Not willing to help if needed or having questions. Every time you need to speak to a staff member it’s impossible to communicate. THEY NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE! Rather travel to the Fletcher location even though they are super close to me. Someone needs to really pay attention to what happens at this location.
This office SCAMS vulnerable people out of money and won’t return my phone calls!!! THEY DID NOT CALL MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO VERIFY MY BENEFITS AND IM LEFT WITH A $897 BILL THEY LIED TO ME!!! Do. Not. True. This. Place. Read reviews they all say the same thing!!!! I even did a 3 way call with my insurance company and their manager confirming that NO CALL WAS MADE!!! LIARS!!!
I went to the clinic for about a year and after the experience decided to switch clinics and drive 2 hours elsewhere.
Thank you Dr Goodman and Dr. yeko
Dr Yeko is the best.
This place is an absolute nightmare
