They don’t accept TRICARE? What a disservice to the men and women who sacrifice daily to ensure their freedom. Also, treatment for nausea, diarrhea, and dehydration they told my son to take antacid? Flat out refused to give him an IV or anything that would make him feel better. UNSAT.U of A you can do better.———————Update————————I contacted TRICARE to validate your response. You may contract with them and select NOT to be included in the directory and mark that you are NOT accepting new patients. There is NO requirement to provide services to all beneficiaries and you may limit such to students only, as it should be. Email sent w/specifics. Thanks for your time and consideration.———-For everyone’s awareness, I attempted to contact the Executive Director, Mr. David Salafsky, but he declined to respond.

Visited the cat clinic and surprisingly found the FNP, Kelly Marechal, to be very dismissive. Said I doubt the specialist will find any problem because you are completely fine after palpation, which was the only test she performed.

Seems like they chose the bottom of the barrel for front desk and scheduling staff. Always errors and problems that result in either rescheduling, extra costs, pointless visits and so on. Often the physicians and PTs agree.More than once Ive arrived on time and the main entrance is locked. My PT has had to come through the side or back entrance to grab me and everytime this results in a problem in billing. If you call to schedule an appointment expect to be forwarded to a random phone number. This has happened enough times where its pointless to call.Just go somewhere else or schedule in person.Do not expect good service.

I have been sick since last Wednesday 11/02, decided on Friday to give campus health a chance thinking it might be more convenient and efficient than trying my PCP, I was completely wrong. I called Friday morning and they said that a Nurse will give me a call for a phone consult, is Monday 11/07 and Im still waiting!

I have been utilizing campus health for the past 2 years (since signing up for student health insurance) and I wish I would have started using them sooner! It is so fast and easy to book appointments. Everything is so close and contained, it makes it easy to see a practitioner, get labs, and pick up from the pharmacy all in one shot.Healthcare here is high quality and affordable. This is an incredible asset as a student.

It is convenient to have everything in one place. Pharmacy, x-ray, GP, sports medicine, etc. They have always been helpful and courteous. If you are on campus and need help, this is a great place to go without traveling.

Probably the best integrated health system Ive used as a student or an employee out in the real world (and I used to see doctors at Johns Hopkins!). Appointments are easy to get, sometimes even same-day, while other places make you wait weeks. Sending messages to doctors gets replies from the doctors themselves, rather than their medical assistants or other people you werent trying to reach. When I started as a graduate student, I remember watching a presentation on how great the campus health service was and thinking it was a load of hot air, but experience has proved them right over the last five years. If theres a criticism I have, its that once you go outside of Campus Health for a specialist referral, they vary wildly in quality... and while the referrals office is a great help with the mechanics of scheduling an outside appointment, its impossible to know what quality of service youre going to get outside.(As usual, people with complaints are way more likely to write a review for healthcare, so take that into account reading the rest of them. The fact anyone bothered to voluntarily write a *good* review for a healthcare provider should tell you a lot!)

Campus health is so far beyond disappointing. I can’t tell you how many times I have been misdiagnosed/ completely rejected because they don’t help anyone past 2:30/ and having my concerns completely disregarded. It is super discouraging and their response to covid 19 outbreak has just been so embarrassing! I really would recommend going to one of the urgent cares close to campus over this. It is really hurtful and unfortunate how the ones who are suppose to be taking care of students when they are most vulnerable just flat out don’t.

As I wait for an appointment with my new PCP, I decided to indulge in a little bit of preventive care through my campus services. Yes, boys and girls, we 50+ (nearing 60) need to get our Shingrix series on board. And thats just what I did. All tucked in and ready to scoff at Zoster should I encounter it. Grateful for the wonderful souls that serve our students and faculty here - these kind, compassionate, and really genuinely good folks are appreciated!

Customer services was not at its best when I called for questions regarding appointment. No courtesy parking is available for patients going to appointment. Parking at the garage was about $5. Service provider was great, experienced and welcoming. Just wished all campus health staff were that welcoming and polite.

The after-hour numbers are completely useless. I called twice in different semesters, but in the end I had to call again during work hours and bear with the symptoms in the meantime. Apart from that everything is fine.

I was in mid-crsis and experiencing physical symptoms. Called in and asked for over-the-counter advice. They turned me down. Completley disregarding that a student, this campus supports so dearly, was in obvious crisis because I did not have my student ID number on hand. Absolutely lost all respect for when this campus talks about mental health. Clearly, they just enjoy the profit and their image.

For a university health center, this place is very good. There are actual doctors working here, and theres a pharmacy and even counseling/mental health services and a womens health center. Some universities are not nearly this well equipped when it comes to their health centers, so UA students are lucky to have this right on campus. My only issue is that they are not open on weekends, which on a couple of occasions has been very inconvenient.

NEVER go to campus health for anything!!!!! Specially if you are from a different country. They waste your time and money!! Nurses are very unfriendly and insensitive!!They said my tb skin test was positive because how it looked and they needed a freaking ruler to measure and 2 persons have to confirm it. I have never seen this in my entire life that was done before!!So, what this is telling me is that all the nurses/providers or who had done this on me before these campus health nurses are incompetent and not doing it correctly??? Please!!!!

Good place to get sick. Lots of sick students in the waiting areas with cold / flu, etc... Staff are also used to primarily treating 18-22 year olds, so if youre an older student or staff member they may not treat your condition appropriately, and their questions reflect this.

Had to wait an hour and a half for the Walk-In clinic on a Wednesday afternoon after my girlfriend got in a car accident and had whiplash and possible concussion. Our entire days were shot. Most urgent care facilities can see patients in 15 minutes or less. We will go to an urgent care facility next time. Parking is also inconvenient.

Though I initially had reservations about starting services here, the staff and services provided here have been a wonderful and invaluable addition to my life as a student. I highly recommend pursuing this option to any student of the University of Arizona.
