Wanted to thank the Friday night shift staff (sep.20th) staff for immediately tending to my needs. After a few questions at the front desk, they went and personally asked the doctor if what I needed was available at their office and they came to a conclusion that it would be best for me to go to the hospital. They could have easily required me to pay for my visit but they didn’t. Super warm and friendly, highly recommend!
I had an infection in my gums from a broken tooth. With an appointment still 5 days away I was feeling warm and concerned due to it being the weekend. The staff was very polite and professional. Though they served several patients I was finished in a little more than an hour. My antibiotic was sent to the nearest pharmacy. Im very thankful for the good care I received.
Check-in was quick, minimal wait. The med assistant and provider were amazing! Empathetic, efficient and thorough in every part of the visit. Both ladies were communicative and great listeners, made me feel comfortable and care plan was excellent.
Every time we come into the office, they let us know that there is gonna be a wait, which is totally fine. The staff is always so friendly so accommodative myself and my daughter have both been treated at the clinic and every time we have a great experience the front desk is especially kind, I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to wait hours in the ER or doesn’t have time to wait weeks to see your doctor. This place is wonderful
It was an amazing experience. We came for a sports physical for my son and the provider we saw was very thorough and seemed to take a genuine interest in my son as the parent but me also as the father. She is a combat medic so it made her easy to relate to as a veteran
Was not impressed. It is never a good sign when the attendee comes in to talk to you and complains about their troubles getting to know the place. I have had this type of infected hair before. The treatment I received goes against the treatment I received in the past same situation. This time the wound was not lanced or drained. I instead got an antibiotic shot and prescription. So I already had an appointment with my primary care for the following Monday. So I will tolerate the pain until then. I don’t think that this course of action will get rid of the boil on my leg, they have to be drained. Will update if I am told by another physician if this Is a proper course of action for this situation. The staff was nice and very friendly as effective. The NPR seemed to be lost and confused. I will not be going back there for care in the future.
The receptionist and nurse were very friendly and helpful. The sign in process was easy snd done on my cell phone. The facility was clean and I was also seen almost immediately. The doctor was very rude, condescending and dismissive. She was scowling and seemed like she was giving me dirty looks for just being there. She gave me little info, short uninformative answers to my questions and left before my questions were answered. I asked her to come back in to finish asking my questions and was again dismissive and rude. She seemed to want to hurry me out of the room and told me to talk to my PCP. I will never use nextcare again. It was a waste of my expensive copayment.
I made my appointment the night before my appointment on the following day. There were quite a few spots available.I did not have to wait too long before I was called back to meet with the health care provider. Everything went better than Ive ever experienced at an urgent care clinic!
I have gone here for years. They are always on time and I like the NPs and Drs. Also like the fact that they have radiology. I took my Dad and Momma there many times before their deaths. 5 stars from me.
Terrible. From the start the help bringing me into the room was very rude and I’m short. Secondly, I came to next Care because you guys do testing when it comes to either blood, Fungal infections, Urinary track infections and x-rays. Last year, my landlord died from black mold poisoning at the house I was in. I’m about 90% sure that’s what has been dormant and has been Spreading on me, but I’m not a doctor and I need testing done. I’m not kidding when I say the doctor walked in, looked at me with the straight face and said you need to get off the drugs. Didn’t start with asking me what’s going on didn’t ask me why I thought that nothing. I guess I would understand if I was on drugs, but then she would have to test for that too, which she didn’t so when I tell her that I am clean and then I’ve been clean and sober for about five years now she has no idea she’s just guessing is completely Off the rails for a doctor and unprofessional . I will be getting testing done elsewhere and when I find out the news if it is what I think it is, you will be hearing from me again shortly and another form is going to be civil suit’ With a complaint
Disappointed and frustrated. I called and explained that I did a TB skin in 2017 and once positive will always be positive due to a vaccine given to me as a child in Africa. I stated I only needed a doctor order saying that I need to do a chest x-ray to get cleared to work. I was told that in order to get a doctor order I had to be a patient and had to do the test all over again by them in order to get a doctors order. I paid $30 for my first visit which came with my skin TB test waited 48 hours to have it read. I was told the skin test was positive which I had already told them it would be positive. I was told that the blood TB test is what is now required so I paid another $120 to get the blood test done. The blood test came out positive and Im not having or showing any symptoms of having TB.I was told my results was sent to the Pima Health Department and was given their number they told me they no longer do TB test. I have been given the run around and have wasted my money along the process.I asked for my doctor order which I was told I could get from the beginning after I establish care and was told they are not able to give me a doctor order due to their policy. Long story short I told a lie and got charged for something that wasnt even necessary.
A good experience. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I was diagnosed, had a prescription called in to my pharmacy and within an hour I had my medication. I was seen quickly and left with a print out for after care instructions. I would definitely go there again.
40 mins from check in to check out. Staff was absolutely wonderful from the receptionist to the first person who took me in to the excellent provider : Danielle Smith. So caring and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She diagnosed an injury that I had sustained earlier in the day from doing an exercise stretch. She actually had personal knowledge of this type of injury, which made her completely relatable. Would definitely use Next-care again.
Made my appointment online, showed up at the recommended time. Literally waited less than 5 minutes to see the provider. I was in and out in 25 minutes tops. Very nice people from both the receptionist to the nurse to the provider were all really nice. The NP had great bedside manner so to speak and very personable and would highly recommend
Very sad to see the staff wearing masks. It is settled science from nearly one hundred studies that masks do nothing to prevent the spread of viruses. They are actually harmful by reducing your 02 and collecting your own exhaled bacteria.
This location closes at 8pm. My wife and I walked in at 720pm. She was needing seen. The receptionist asks in a disgusted tone do you have an appointment? We said no. She rolls her eyes gets up mad push’s her chair angry out of way and goes to back and talks to somebody and comes back and says we are not taking anyone else tonight. Now There website says walk in welcome until close. There was one other person in lobby. They obviously just didn’t want to have to be there any longer. Website makes it seem like you’re so welcome but that’s not the case at this location. I will not recommend this location to anyone any longer. I called and Asked for manager Cynthia Olsen to contact me but phone and girl was so short and confrontational when I asked to leave the message. Will see if I receive a call . Have not yet.
Took my 3 yr old son for an eye abrasion, the receptionist was kind but the actual doctor was very dismissive and not helpful at all. Felt very rushed and not the proper steps of care were taken. She seemed annoyed with my son, and with my questions of his care and post care. His pediatrician also agreed that the care provided was not right for his situation and should have been handled differently and better. Will not return or recommend.
I was second in the door at 8am and didnt see the doctor until 10:15. Waaay too long of a wait.Ill not revisit this business. The staff was pleasant enough.
The practitioner was very uncomfortable in her stature and body language of my husband and myself being in the same room as her. She asked questions about a medication that had nothing to do with the issue at hand, not even in a way of seeing if there would be interaction. Barely treated my husband to get us out. Her homophobia very palpable
What a great visit. The team that took care of me was fantastic. They had me in and out in no time. Overall it was the most pleasant experience Ive had in an urgent care facility. Thank you 😊
I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, there were 3 people ahead of me. I was seen within 6 minutes of checking in. The FNP was friendly and explained the issue in laymens terms and answered all my questions. I would recommend this office.
I went in this morning with a swollen tongue not having any idea how serious my condition was. The nurse practitioner, Danielle, was so helpful in explaining how serious my condition was and what to do in the future if it happens again. I was in and out in a very reasonable time with my problem taken care of.
The Staff was incredible!!! From the phone call to the reception I received as I walked in to the tender care from the nurse and doctor. Wow just wow! They treated my five year old like royalty 👑. Thank you so much!
This was by and far the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had! Staff were extremely friendly, wait times were prompt, and FNP Danielle Smith is one of the best providers I have had the pleasure of being treated by.
Staff were quick, professional and compassionate. Saw an NP who discussed symptom management for uncomfortable virus symptoms. A very good experience. Thanks! Highly recommend.
I went here two months ago for a inflamed lip because I thought maybe I’d found an allergy I had (I don’t have any allergies) so I came here and saw I think his name was Micheal and he offered me insulin (which can be fatal for people without allergies to take) without testing me for anything. So I literally went to get nothing and my lip was fine by the end of day. Today I got a bill for 300 dollars for a 45 second visit where I was offered harmful care. Dont go here
All of the medical staff was super friendly and kind. However, the nurse practitioner who saw my child never smiled or said anything nice. She seemed to be having a very bad day.
The FNP I saw was Patricia Daly and she was incredible. Kind, empathetic, and took time to really look at all my symptoms. She gave me detailed helpful advice and offered several options for my symptoms. Everyone in the office was phenomenal. Hopefully, I do not need to go to urgent care again soon, but if I do I would go back here.
Rude, scammy, and a waste of your time. Go anywhere else unless you are looking for a doctor that acts like a dying GreatClips location. They couldnt have cared less about me, and with a 2hour wait and $75 copay, Id have been better off at the damn ER.
The wait time was extremely long. I had an appointment for 4:30. I wasn’t called back until after 5:30 and didn’t leave until 6:45. However the doctor was very thorough. At the end of the visit I asked for a doctor’s not to excuse me from work for the days I had been out. The doctor would not back date the note for the duration of my illness. I’ve never run into this issue in the past and have always used NextCare Urgent Care Centers. The receptionist was rude when I asked for clarification on the doctor’s note. When asked if my meds had been called in she responded, “If he said it’s there, it’s there.” I found her response short and unnecessary. I believe it’s her job to answer questions I have about my care and what I need. I’ll probably go to a different clinic in the future. I’ve never had an experience like this. I was not happy with how it went at all.
The entire experience, from the moment I walked in, was fantastic. The staff was a whole vibe...friendly and efficient. Dr. Stewart was amazing.I left the clinic feeling confident in the care I received.
I have usually had good experiences with NextCare so I was honestly surprised at the problems encountered when I brought a friend here to treat a skin infection (99.9% positive it was a pretty bad case of impetigo which is basically sores on your skin that start with a tiny bite or scratch that get infected by bacteria on the skin). What was NOT good at this visit was the way the staff except for the receptionist (who was extremely polite and professional) treated my friend (the patient). The reason I’m writing this is because of how upset he was. He is a personable, respectful, friendly, 60 year old with a great sense of humor who isn’t easily offended — by ANYTHING— but he was extremely offended by the way he was treated there.1. when he was called back to get vitals the first thing the medical assistant said to him after noticing the sores was “So, you do meth, don’t you?” He laughed it off — but I think it was an extremely insensitive unprofessional way to greet a patient.2. The nurse practitioner saw him, looked at his skin, and immediately decided based on I’m not sure what, that his skin sores were was the result of doing meth and picking at his skin (for anyone who doesn’t know, some of the chemicals in meth can make your skin break out and after a few days on it and lack of sleep, paranoia and stereotypical repetitive behaviors can begin — people start thinking that there’s bugs coming out of them and start picking at break outs on themselves ). First all this guy has lived pretty colorful life don’t get me wrong, but there’s no way he’s a “tweaker”. He has a heart condition and if he did meth any more than once in a while, it would probably kill him. Literally, I had been seen for almost the exact same skin thing less than a year before at the same place and they took a look at it and prescribed me an topical and antibiotic, and that was that - there is no discussion of me being a drug user or anything else. Why in the world did they single him out and assume that? I know he would’ve been truthful with the doctor about everything that he has ever done, but why in the world would you just assume that a few incidences of meth use is the only thing affecting him? The poor guy is a homeless veteran and likely contracted it from living in not the cleanest environment in the heat not from being on drugs. She offered no medication, not even a topical, and advice was to “Quit picking at it so much” And to see his primary care doctor. Um hello? Why did I have to bring him to urgent care if he had a primary doctor nearby go to? Can you think about the fact that somebody’s homeless & gonna spread it to everyone else in that camp? That’s kinda irresponsible. I tried to ask dr what am I supposed to do? I told her I have been treated for the exact same thing and all I needed was literally a five dollar topical ointment with a prescription that made it go away in like three days. But she was convinced that it was his own fault and she didn’t help him, actual diagnosis that she wrote down was meth intoxication and skin picking disorder or something like that. Dude, that’s not gonna make it go away, not picking it is not gonna make it go away, you need a cream with an antibiotic. Doctor was super short with us almost the point of being rude and when I called back later to try and get more information, they tried to avoid talking to me by saying it wasn’t allowed by HIPAA blah blah blah. That was not even true because dr literally called me back 10 min later and talked to me through the receptionist who told me to tell him to just keep taking meds he was already on and use something over-the-counter and wait for culture result…big help. I’m really sick of people profiling people based on what they look like and providing a substandard care just because they want to be judgmental. We don’t go to the doctor for an evaluation of our character. We go there for treatment of an illness. Start treating people more respectfully, please ALL your patients, NextCare — no matter what they look like, this was not okay.
I returned a second time for the same issue as advised previously and was treated exceptionally well. Both times was an online check in with no issues and virtually no wait time. I repeat my last statement: You guys are amazing as always. Thank you for being so compassionate and knowledgeable. Nextcare is the go to Urgent care for my family.
Im here for a bug bite is the nurse practitioner said I need to go to the hospital these people are so stupid and lazy I went to TMC urgent care and they injected me with antibiotics and gave me a script too. something so simple as a bug bite these people cant even take care of.
FNP Smith was amazing. Knew exactly what was wrong with me. She really listened to me and heard me. Great care all around from reception to medical assistant to FNP Smith. Done in less than an hour and a half.
Just filled out the forms. Waiting for my turn. My exam went well the other day. But, I was called later and told to come by and get a disc with the x-rays on it for the specialist to review. As I am on crutches and cannot drive I requested it to be made prior to my picking it up. This they will not do. Ok, why cant they be sent via internet? This too they will not do. So, I must take a taxi. Get in line with people being examined and once its my turn, then they will take the 5 minutes to burn the disk. Nice. Am I the only one to see the problem with this. I think not. Dont get me wrong, great service otherwise. But this stinks.Well I just came back from FastMed. Guess what? They couldnt make the disc, no RT on duty! I called before I went, I asked that it be made prior. I cannot walk. I got a cab to them and they are sorry they cant do it today. What? Is this for real? I left, got another cab and maybe Ill go back on Monday. If Im into torture. So, no, I think not.
Dr was great. Office staff is very friendly, however clerical tasks such as making contact with the patient needs improvement.
Had to wait over an hour after my appointment time just to see someone. People were rude and were not that helpful when I asked questions. Felt like they were just trying to get me out of there rather than actually trying to help me.
This was my third time being seen here and every experience has been great! I haven’t had to wait and the staff are all very kind! You can even make a same day appointment which is awesome!
The staff were wonderful and the care was excellent.. I understand why I had to wait because they were just a lot of people which means this place is likef by everyone.
It was a nice place, not many peoplesTime wise all together was under 2 hours took X-rays and prescription was needed one cracked rib in 2 palaces in back, they did absolutely great job, now I just hurt, for about 2 weeks
My best experience thus far at this location, Doctor was very informative & answered all of my questions, had me in & out quickly which I really appreciate cause urgent care tends not to be so urgent. I am very please with my care & the quickness of my medications being sent to the pharmacy!
I went in with my daughter due the the fact that we were feeling unwell. Receptionist and medical assistant were both friendly and quite helpful. They made our experience as pleasant as they could have. I would give the two of them 5 stars. Dr. Chapman, on the other hand was quite rude, and had a horrible bedside manner. From the lobby I overheard her speaking to a patient that was in line before my daughter and myself. She came across as quite brash and apathetic of her patients concerns and discomfort . I thought maybe I read her tone wrong, but when she spoke to my Daughter and myself we received the same treatment. She came across as quit condescending, and as a superior reprimanding those beneath her. I received the antibiotic script I knew I needed which was nice. I’ve used multiple NextCare Urgent Care centers over many years and have never had another adult scold me as though I was their child. She really came across as angry. I’m not sure if she is tired or overworked, but her treatment of us was uncalled for. My daughter and I were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would not recommend this urgent care center to any friend or family, nor will I return due to the treatment my daughter and myself received from Dr. Chapman
I was the only person in the building and took over a hour to get me back. Tried to send me to a nut house over a panic attack. They just sit there and want other people to do their work. Staff looks at discharge papers and judges. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND EVER!!!!!!
I went in for JUST a drug test. After I finished my drug test, one of the lady’s came up to me and asked for my arm, alcohol swabs it and proceeded to give me TB injection, NONCONSENSUAL. I didn’t ask for it. Nor did I need it. They messed up and didn’t even read my paper work.
Personnel were all warm and showed concerned. Took a while to get in but now I know about registering online.PA who examined me seemed quite knowledgeable and happy to share. Will return if needed in the future.
Everybody I deal with on my visit was very professional. The doctor I saw was so cool. He listened to everything I said, and he actually cared.
Youre quickly seen if you use common sense and reserve an appointment. The medical assistant asks all the appropriate questions to make sure your chart is loaded with info to help the provider that will see you. The provider was fast and to the point, once seen. All in all, great process if youre prepared, honest, and abetting in a medical setting you need resolving. The vague, and rude walk ins ahead of us just couldnt grasp that reserving an appointment means you get seen at that time. Great medical service.
David Howard is great! The staff was amazing and very helpful. The PA took time to explain everything and my daughter felt comfortable.
Fast but the did do everything to help me find out why I was sick. They all was kind pleasant would recommend this location and also do it online make appointments and check in its so easy and much faster
Went in on a Sunday evening for a possible dog bite. I was treated well and got in pretty quickly for evaluation and treatment. The doctor was efficient, but he was willing to answer my questions and his approach was calming. Overall, I was quite pleased with this first experience and I’ll plan to return if the need arises.
The experience visiting this urgent care was great…please keep it up because i will return…doesn’t matter my drive to the office is about 1/2hr out…thank u guys
The Doctor at the Swan location is Awesome. She is very thorough and compassionate. I prefer Swan over the Pima location.
This NextCare is extremely clean inside and beautiful. The staff is super friendly and I absolutely loved the doctor. She was so good with my 5-year-old. We were in and out in literally 20 minutes. Definitely recommend to anyone especially if you have kiddos.
I will never go again. I called prior to coming to ask if the place could provide me with an x-ray because I suspected a fracture, they told me to go to this location. I went in, told the front desk person that I needed an x-ray. I had made an appointment and filled out the paperwork an hour in advance explaining the reason of my visit. The front desk worker did not say anything to me regarding the x-ray, and checks me in. While I waited I overhead the front desk worker talk with an assistant and roughly heard them say that someone did not want them to tell the patients about the x-ray -very sketchy. Its only when I was taken in, sat down to take my vitals that I was told that I wont be getting an x-ray because they dont have a tech. I said that I was coming to this specific location for the x-ray, the assistant sounded annoyed by the fact that someone told me to come here. She was reassuring and told me I could get one at a different site. After waiting for quite a long time, the nurse walked in, didnt really talk to me or ask me any question. Offered a post-op shoes and nothing else. She gave me a piece of paper for my x-ray. I was in a lot of pain, and quite tired, I didnt think to ask how that would go. This is only after that I realize that they werent sending me to a Nextcare site, but to an x-ray place and that it would not be taken into the copay I paid during my visit. Had I known that I would have gone somewhere else. Someone, or maybe the policies, is being deceitful and dishonest with patients regarding the x-rays, I felt taken advantage of, and I think this was a breach of medical ethics.
I was able to make an appointment within the next couple hours; there was no line; the nurse and the doctor helped me quickly.
Had the ear tip from one of my hearing aids lodged in my ear by my eardrum. Dr was pleasant, efficient and confidence inspiring. This place was recommended by family as my grandson has been seen here a few times. Also, we are from out of town and it cost less than it did when I had the same thing at home in WA! Gotta love that!
This NextCare location was so great! Easy online scheduling- got an appt within 2 hours. I was taken back fairly close to appt time and was completely done and out in about 45 minutes total! That is hardly ever the case at Urgent Care! Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Just a great all around experience which was nice because I was feeling awful!
I went in after being sick for two weeks. They took my money and tried to kick me out after just testing my blood pressure and lungs. They said there was nothing they could do and that I could go back to work as soon as tomorrow. However, I still am experiencing headaches, stomach aches, coughing, cold sweats, sore throat etc. Don’t come here, it’s a waste of time and money. Erika was argumentative and not helpful. She kept talking over me while I tried to explain my reason for visiting and my expectations. Then, at the end when I asked for them to do something to help, they ran a strep test, gave it to me without saying a word. So I left with nothing. Sorry, but I don’t enjoy giving out $200 for nothing.
This is a good urgent care clinic. The people are all very nice and we didnt have to wait too long considering there were several people there ahead of us. The doctor I saw was very nice and knew exactly what my problem was and how to help me so Im very pleased and satisfied with my visit there. Im very glad I went. I held off for almost a week thinking do I really want to go and then today I decided finally to do it. It wasnt really an emergency just a bothersome thing. We walked in and the wait wasnt too bad really. I do recommend this clinic. Ive been very happy with other Next Care clinics Ive been to too. This is a rather new one and is much closer to our house than the one we were going to, so we thought wed try it and Im glad we did. I think Next Care clinics are much better than most other ones.
Scam artists. The person at the front desk straight up lied to me on the cost. I came in for a blood test appointment and asked how much would my visit be and for a test, I was quoted $80-150 for a test. I ended up declining the test after speaking with the provider for 2 minutes. I waited longer in the lobby than my actual reason for being there. My visit cost me $91 after insurance because just to walk in through the door is $250 before insurance. How could my visit have cost me $80 at any point when the fee for just walking in is $250??? Absolutely ridiculous scam. I would never have walked in knowing this price.
Friday morning appointment. No idea why Ive sat there for 40 minutes waiting in a room, listening to employees joke, laugh & chat it up. During a time of distress, youd think they would be more aware of how that makes us patients feel. Im much more upset about the wait. Wow!? This is why I usually drive far to another NexCare for my needs. I hope to not return here again.
I love this Next Care on Grant and Swan. I have been here 3 or 4 times, and each time Im in and out total time about 30 min. SUPER quick! Also great personable, friendly front desk and I LOVE the Doctors on staff there. They even do X rays, but not every day, so call first if you suspect a fracture. They did a fantastic job removing my stitches today.
Doctor and front desk lady where phenomenal and very helpful in and out idk if the lady checks your vitals was in a bad mood but she sounded like she didnt wanna be there little more professionalism next time from her
Of course, reviews are subjective if you have a busy waiting room - but the people working there and the doctor were friendly, positive and helpful. She got right to the point and got me checked in and out quickly.
The Doc was amazing in the short time I spent talking to him he made me feel comfterble and understood what I was being told I felt that he cared just an overall distance with the doctor and the girl who did my vitals, blood pressure temperature, etc. was not very friendly. However, the receptionist was two out of three is not bad.
The experience was great, the three lovely ladies that helped me made it so easy. Even though my appointment was at 9:20am, they managed to take me in earlier. Very professional and fast service. I would recommend this place any time.
I have a bad case of Covid. After my PCP not returning my call all day, I decided to try multiple Next Cares. I went to this facility and was told in a very cocky and rude attitude by the attending physician that testing positive does not mean you get Paxlovid. You have to have SIGNIFICANT health concerns, take certain statins and BP medications. It was more the way they said it than anything. Certainly didnt want to have eye contact with me. They enjoyed the power trip of not being able to help me. There was ZERO concern for my health or any positive suggestions !! I highly recommend NOT going to this facility.
5 stars all day!! The staff was amazing and were very attentive to my needs!! The ladies here took great care of me and were able to get me in very fast!! Out of all the urgent cares I’ve been to over the years, this one on Grant and Swan has been the most professional and gave me the best experience!! Thank you 🙏
Was not very happy doctor that seen my son treated him horrible she looked at him like he was stupid with the fact he has autism. Will be taking my son else where.
This Urgent Care is the best place . Very friendly and helpful. They listened to me well and assisted me how to deal with my health issues. And also no long waiting time most of the time.I really appreciate Dr Natasha. She is very kind.
Just back from a conference where I feared my cold and flu symptoms might be COVID, I half expected to be brushed off as overly anxious or dramatic. Not feeling well, my appearance could have caused me to appear mentally unwell, which typically results in substandard care. Yet, at Next Care, I felt welcomed, heard, and safe. I felt respected. The NP was thorough and reassuring. Turns out I only have a cold, but I walked away confident that I can return to work without risking the health of my customers and colleagues. She understood and validated my concerns, and I appreciated everyone’s professionalism.
They were really fast and took good care of me. They addressed my concerns, answered my questions and gave me stuff that made me feel much better. The place is clean. There are bleachy wipes around for our use if we wish. Thank you, Becki!
The entirety of Fast Med staff were awesome. I presented to the clinic late in the day and without an appointment. I was told it could be up to an hour wait but that the clinic would do everything they could to get me seen. The receptionist was great, made me comfortable, and had me in an exam room within 15 minutes. The medical assistant, nurse, and Doctor were thorough, tentative, caring, and prompt. I was diagnosed and treated at the clinic, provided with after care instructions and on my way within an hour. I am very pleased with the care and experience I received at Fast Med.
All of the people there were excellent. The NP who treated was outstanding.
Everything went well. Only issue I had was a walk in came and they let him skip me when I had been waiting for my appointment. Dr was very nice, professional and quick. Nurse lady had an attitude kind of this time not sure why last time I came she was nice and sweet but it didnt bother me. Front desk was very nice and professional.
Waited 2 hrs only to be assessed for 2 minutes and then told me to go to TMC instead
One of the employees didn’t take her job seriously . I went in for covid rapid testing . Prior to going in I took 2 test that both were positive, once I got in the room she was like we have to do a test to make sure you are really positive because people come in here saying they are positive and they are really not. She doesn’t do the swab correctly she barley puts in at the tip of my nose and turns it really quick like she didn’t really want to do it or intentionally make me have a negative result. While waiting on the result I could hear the employees laughing and calling patients liars . And saying they should just start saying they don’t have rapid test from now on, just very unprofessional setting. The nurse comes in and tells me my test is negative, I tell her the employee didn’t do my swab correctly and asked if she can do it for me the right way. So she did it again and of course it came back positive. The first employee needs to take her job seriously because she could of had me walking around thinking I was negative when I know very well I was positive. I work with children so it really made me upset. On my way out she wouldn’t even look at me because she knows she was wrong. I will never use this location again. Employees are rude and unprofessional. When people are sick they don’t want to be treated differently and not taken seriously. Just an all around bad experience.
Super friendly and caring staff! In and out in a timely manner.
I got seen relatively quick and was pleased with the polite, friendly staff. They even went out of their way to call in some prescriptions I needed to be refilled before my next Dr. Appt. Thank you!
I was fortunate enough to get the first appointment on Labor Day Monday morning at this location. The front desk receptionist was very very nice. It didnt take very long for my nurse practitioner to explain a little treatment plan for my physical ailments.
Great and knowledgeable staff, including front desk, staff, and clinical care team.
This was such a great and easy experience to get a sports physical done. Made appointment and registered online and showed up 15 minutes early as requested. No wait. The receptionist, nurse and physician were all very nice. Highly recommend this location!
I had to go to NextCare Urgent Care at swan and grant it was on Friday early morning only two ppl in the lobby the staff was nice and fast I wasnt even there 30 minutes.
Update 2-7-24...just seen the BEST doctor ive ever seen. She saw my daughter and myself at the same time. I wish i could have her as my doctor, or k ow where shes goimg to be since shes a floating doctor. Danielle Smith you are so awesome. I hope you see this!!!BECKY, you are so sweet and caring. Your even took the time to put on my elbow brace. Better then my own primary. Thank you for being kind. The lady with the glasses who took vitals, she was a sweet heart as well. The front desk lady was fast and patient.Update: Im back here September 27, 2022. Everyone here is so nice, except for the lady who did my vidals. Just gotbher name and itStacy. Wow. She rushes you, talks over you, not a plesent person. If she is miserable here, she should look for another job! But I had the joy of seeing Becki again. Man I love her! Shes so so sweet! Alwayssmiling. .Always patient. And the receptionist, she was again sweet and patient!
I found the staff to be very professional and friendly. Dr. Christina Rosengren listened and prescribed medication. I do not know if the medication will help. I am following her directions for her caring personality put me at ease. Highly recommend this office.
Didnt take nearly as long as I had expected. Waited maybe 15 minutes in the lobby before being shown to a room. Medical assistant was quick but thorough with vitals and questions. Doctor was kind, compassionate and understanding. Have seen this doctor before and like her very much. Would highly recommend this Urgent Care location.
Everyone was friendly and professional. I would go back again if I needed care.
Very friendly and efficient got me in and out quick
This place is terrible. The front desk lady and the nurse were great, but the NP and the process is terrible! We registered online and arrived 10 minutes before the appointment time as recommended.Wife needed an foot x-ray (foot is swollen and blue) but guess what? No x-ray tech on duty. So we waited an hour and a half only to be fitted with a walking cast and told we need to go to radiology for an x-ray. So they wanted to send us to a 3rd party facility, pay another copay and office visit, and wait in line again - all because this practice is grossly inefficient. We then drove to the fast med on 22nd only because we wouldnt have to pay another office visit. I explained the situation to the front desk lady and verified that they did in fact have a rad tech working that day. They got us in within 15 minutes and we had our x-rays on disc 10 minutes after that.Safe yourself a lot of time money and aggravating and stay THE HELL away from the fastmed at Swan / Grant. Youll leave in the same shape you arrived in - just with much less money.
I have been to NextCare Urgent Care a few times.I was extremely disappointed in the Broadway and Tucson location. I went there knowing exactly what I needed...an x-ray. Forsome unknown reason this woman came and talked to me for about 2 minutes. She left and came back in for a few more minutes. Did I get the x-ray NO. Im getting billed for those few minutes that she talked to me. When I signed in at the desk I put the reason why I was there. Not to speak with some strange woman Ive never met before. In my confused state, did I ask for my co-pay back? No. Im still getting billed. I called billing and they said they would take care of it. They did a poor job !!!
Had appointment set for 4pm came in at 3:50pm. wasnt seen till 6pm! When triaged they wrote my info on a napkin... I thought that was weird but okay. Once I finally went back, the Doctor grabbed some napkins and started writing my info on it as well. She stated she was on a lunch and thats why I waited so long.no bedside manner at all.... It was very 3rd world and uncomfortable.I wont be going back.
Excellent care. First Fast Med office advised that their waiting time was over an hour. The receptionist directed us to their other office and called ahead to announce our arrival. After being examined, we were advised to go to Emergency at the hospital. They furnished my EKG and their diagnosis and called the hospital to advise that we were on our way. Great job by a great crew! Thanks
The front desk was kind and efficient and ensured the waiting area was sanitary. The providers provided quick and easy care! Thank you!
Ranisha the front desk lady very rude had no customer service giggling cause I requested to speak with a provider , due to her professionalism. Lack of care for the community an there was a 20min wait for her just to write down the providers information. An after waiting still refused to provide it for me she has no customer service an she was raising her tone I mean if your dealing with the community have a little more Courtesy , she didn’t not want to provide a number to file. A complaint an I attempted to ask multiple times as for the location this was the first time and the last time waited over an hour an still never got seen
Clean and FAST and efficient. I thought it was weird that I had to wait for a provider to come in the room for a covid test that the medical assistant did. I didn’t need or want to see a provider. No need. I imagine it was strictly for billing purposes. Offices and staff were wonderful. A little frustrated with process for test results. They called and left a message, I missed the call and called back only to be on hold for 40 minutes. For the answering line to tell me no one could take my call at the clinic at the moment. And they would call me back. I asked if there was a way to avails another 40 minute wait, if I miss the call. She said no. This is the only process she is aware of. Happy with the clinic and staff. And speed. Didn’t need to see the provider for a swab and 40 minute wait time for results on the the phone was frustrating.
I went in today after 4:00pm to have my four year old seen. The gal at the desk was honest and said no more walk ins for the day. I felt bad for asking if she had any advice on where else I could take my daughter, (we had been to a few other places at that point) but she quickly pulled up other options. Thank you so much for the kindness and understanding today!! It was so was much appreciated!
I rebel against going to any type of medical facility, especially any type of urgent care because they historically have not provided effective care for any of my issues. I must say these folks were pleasant, helpful, and informative even tho they really couldnt help with my concern. I dont want to ever need to utilize any medical facility in the future but I will not hesitate to return to this location if necessary.
Took my son in. Great service from the moment you walk in, greeted with a smile. It nice considering we were tired and son not well. There was a 90 minute wait time but Frankie at the desk did keep us informed and checked on us. MA who did my son vitals was a sweet lady. NP who examined my son was very professional, looked at my son while she spoke to him, waited patiently for his reply.Waiting area very clean along with exam room. I would revisit here if needed again in future
Had my appointment @ 1:30. Had to leave 2 hours later couldn’t wait longer. Going for a possible UTI, peed in the cup left in the box an hour later I had to pee again went back to the bathroom and the urine was still there had to leave it in the bathroom or anybody could grab it not comfortable with that.
Everyone was very polite, kind and efficient. I was impressed.
I have visited Fast Med Urgent Care 3 times. If your not feeling good and need attention now they are there no hassle just a couple clicks to check in and you pick your time . Very professional people very caring and attentive. They listen. Much easier trying to get a appointment with your doctor or wait time in the emergency room. I highly recommend Fast Med for yourself or children.
I dont go to urgent care often But when I Do I always go to Nextcare in The Frys plaza off swan/grant ..always clean and the Staff and NP are Always Very Welcoming professional and attentive and I was a walk-in with a tooth infection...i was in and out within 40 minutes...and its Been like this consistently for years ..highly recommend 😊💯❣️
Easy to make appt online. A bit of a wait even tho I had a confirmed appt time but it was not bad. I was seen and my uncertainty about what was ailing me was resolved. Prescription called in. Now I can take care of this nasty ear infection! Thank you!!
There r very caring and compassionate health workers here, Im grateful for this place and the people that work here..... The health care staff is so good, I wont go anywhere else.... It doesnt take forever to b seen and taken care of promptly and with much respect, THE BEST PLACE TO GO IF U NEED URGENT CARE.....8/27/2023 Update:This is still the best Urgent CARE in Tucson work the kindest, most caring health care workers.ThankYou Next Care Urgent Care, Ure All So Awesome.
Everyone was very kind and compassionate. I waited about ten minutes before being called. I made my appointment online and completed my check in. The NP was thorough, efficient, and caring. I will definitely be back.
Really appreciated the entire staff at this location. I came in with my autistic teenage son, and the staff was incredibly empathetic and understanding. They also did their best to get us in and out of there as quickly as they could. Having to do any type of urgent care with young ones is never fun, but the staff made the visit as pleasant as possible.
Needed to get a pre-employment drug screen. Not a big deal and should take five minutes tops. Walked in and went to the desk. Was told that it would be a minimum of 90 minutes until I could be seen. Had no choice but to wait as it had to be done that day. Turned to find a seat and none we’re available. They had five chairs in the entire waiting room and all were full. There were also multiple family members per patient (mostly adults) making the rom crowded. The care I got was OK but the overcrowding and lack of rules about multiple guests per patient made it uncomfortable to wait so long. On top of that I felt sorry for the many teens who came in for sports physicals only to be turned away because they needed an appointment.
I have had to use NextCares service twice now and both times have been very positive. The staff are very professional and friendly, the doctors are nothing short of amazing.I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your help team!
They took good care of me. Waiting was minimal.Office staff was kind and friendly, helping me get thru forms quickly. Saw nurse practitioner and she got a good description of my illness situation, prescribed and sent to pharmacy for me. Back in bed in no time.Thank you!
Went in with an ear full of wax and infected. Only waited 25 minutes and came out with the wax removed my hearing restored and the soreness in recovery.👍
The care I got here was fine. However, I recently got notified that this urgent care had passed a bill of mine (which they NEVER told me about) to a collections agency. Ive called the number for billing here multiple times, but every time Im put on hold for about 10 minutes and then kicked off the queue. Attempting to ruin my credit over a measly $22 bill is insane. I would have paid it if they ever asked or sent me a bill of any kind.Billing practices here are at best negligent, and at worst downright predatory. Avoid at all costs.Edit: I finally spoke to someone over the phone, and apparently FastMed sent two bills to an address I havent lived at in over 5 years. I was also told that now the collections agency has the bill, theres nothing FastMed can do about it. Thanks for nothing, FastMed.
The front staff could not give a straight answer about the wait time. Several people that came after me and other patients were passed through. After a two hour wait, I waited another two hours to see a NP. I ended up waiting four hours total. FastMed use to be a great place to go. The staff is nice, but the previous staff were quicker and more efficient. This place just hit a new low. It can definitely use another NP.
When did urgent care become a place where you needed appointments to get in? It says on the door walk-ins welcome. And the tv in the waiting room repeats over and over “providing immediate care for both injury and illness.” Ha! Since we walked in and didn’t have an appointment we waited in the lobby for 96 minutes!!! Once we finally got into a room we waited another 30 mins just to get swabbed for Covid and the flu. It’s not like the place was packed either. One patient every 15 mins that was scheduled with no walk-ins! One patient at a time! The receptionist out front scared everyone else away by telling them to come back at scheduled appointment times, hours later! Including a child who had been run over by a car at school this morning!!!!Um I’m an RN, I have worked in both office settings and in hospital settings. I have never had ONE patient at a time! This is the worst time management and patient care I have ever seen! All they had to do was take a patient back to a room and take a swab then see another patient while they were waiting for the results! Also the NP had the nerve to ask if we wanted to be swabbed for COVID after we had already waited for our flu results. What the hell lady! Of course we do why are we even here?! Why didn’t you do it at the same time so we don’t have to wait again?! We were there for nearly 3 hours for a nasal swab!!! Will never go here again!!!! 👎🏻
Great customer service. Little wait time.Courteous staff and wonderful Dr. Neiss! Very informative and kind. I am relieved I went and happy I chose this company and location.Thank you!
I have been to this clinic twice. Once for a physical required by my future employer and once because I was having ear trouble. I had a positive experience both times. Everyone was friendly. Also, I do not have health insurance, I appreciated knowing the cost upfront.
I made an appointment but still had to wait an hour to be seen for a UTI. They said there didnt seem to be an infection but said they would send it to a lab to be cultured, they didnt give me the option this time to agree to that or not. Even without the lab work the cost was double what l paid the last time l went there, in addition man behind the counter was rude. I will not be going there again.
Really happy with my experience here! Checked-in online and didn’t have any wait time other than just doing paperwork. The nurse practitioner listened to my concerns and considered my health history when making treatment options. Would definitely recommend this urgent care!
Customer service assisted in finding a location where there was a DOT certified physician and checked me in while I was on the phone. I arrived and was seen right away, excellent price $95 compared to Concentra. Very nice staff.
Staff was friendly. Answered all my questions. Was able to get in right away. Would recommend.
This was my first time going to FastMed or any urgent care for that matter. I am so impressed with FastMed. I waited no longer than 15 minutes. The Dr. Practitioner treated me so well. She helped to treat my condition till I could see my primary. Everyone was kind and courteous. When I may need urgent care. This is where I will come. Im so grateful to all of you. Catherine Bartlett
I dont do reviews, this is how upset I am. I called and asked if they can do xrays and they said they can. They didnt say only for limbs and not the back. The medical assistant or whoever she was when I was in the room to check vitals was very rude and sighed when I took a couple of seconds to answer her question. The Dr came in and asked what was wrong and I said my back has been hurting for awhile and that I was struggling to find a PCP during covid situation and wanted to know if I could just get an xray to make sure nothing was wrong. He said to do excercises and when tears came out of my eyes cause the thought of me paying 89 dollars for nothing made me upset he just showed no sympathy. I wasnt hostile, my voice was low and crackly. Anyways. He shoved the discharge papers in front of me and said good luck. I said I just spent 89 dollars on this to him and he ignored me and went to the next patient. This whole time I did not show hostility. I was like a dog who was told to go outside. Well, let me add onto this, just right now that Dr came to my car window and said, do you need something? I said no. He said are you waiting for me? I said no but that I was upset. He said why are you still parked here? I said I called my mom to vent. He said he felt threatened by me and that I needed to leave. I told him Im not doing anything. I didnt tell him I was writing this review and trying to stop crying so I felt safer to drive because he was very threatening and not understanding of peoples emotions. He said he was going to call the cops if I didnt leave. He didnt ask if I was okay, or be understanding. Im finishing this review. I not once raised my voice, not once threatened anyone. The only thing I said to show I was upset was that I paid 89 dollars as he walked away from me. And trust me, if I was in anyway aggressive I would not be writing this review, why would I add fuel to their fire. His name is Thomas P Morris FNP. The only good thing I can say is that the front desk girl was very friendly and when I called the other location they made an appointment for me here. I cant say to not come here, I dunno if there are any good Drs who work here, but this Dr is not a good person. The cops came while writing this review, they were nice. They listened to me and showed compassion. I let them know all the above. They calmed me down so I can drive. As I was driving away the Dr opened up the door and I could hear him starting to say his version of the story. I would have loved to hear his side so I could find out what I did to make him feel threatened by sitting in my car. He made me feel threatened for minding my business sitting in my car. You would think a Dr would be wanting to be compassionate with people, why would a Dr go into a field thats supposed to help people if they didnt care for people? Probably the money. Maybe he was a good guy in the beginning and got bitter? Dunno. But he is not a good person as of this day. Take from this what you will. I hope something changes in his life to show him people have feelings and compassion goes a long way in changing a persons life. Those cops had more compassion and people usually fear cops, not Drs.
I visited the FastMed on Swan Road in Tucson for a scheduled 6 hour observational appointment on 21 Feb 2020. When I arrived, I was met by a smiling and friendly lady at the front desk (I think Rochelle?), who checked me in and who wanted to make sure I was comfortable.I was called back to my room by the Medical Assistant, Kailey who I cannot say enough good things about. As I was already anxious about starting a new medication under observation, she made me very relaxed as she started my ECG.I was visited by Marie the RT and Becki the NP but I spent most of my day with Kailey, who was constantly checking on me, monitoring my vital signs, and just making sure I was doing well throughout my stay.Kaileys personality combined with her confidence and competence is a true asset to FastMed and is my hope is that she will continue her education, as she would be a fantastic RN or NP.E.G. RN.
Wonderful NP she totally listened to my concerns
My visit was easy and thorough. Becky Schumacher was very nice and got me the items I needed. She was very caring about my son. Thank you UC Staff for your kindness and efficiency
The nurse practitioner I saw today was rude this is been the first and only experience Ive had that has been bad. Everyone else seemed to be extremely overwhelmed busy! But everyone else was polite
I made my appt for tues 4/26 at 8:40am. I found the receptionist who took my insurance cards and ID to the med assistant who took my vitals, to the Dr who listened to what I knew was wrong. Excellent customer service, from all three. The wait was not that long, during that time I got to observe medical professionals at work who showed courtesy to their patients. Today I saw Rebecca Hoover FNP, she listened to what I had to say. Prescribed meds that has helped so much. Im an asthmatic with moderate COPD so being able to breathe and not have to take my rescue inhaler more than 3 times a week is very important to me becuz of side effects of that inhaler. Awesome dx and Rx you nailed it, this is the first time in what seems like months that Im not attached to my nebulizer or inhaler. Thank you Rebeccathank you Rebecca
My wife thought that she had something in her eye and was very uncomfortable. We arrived at NextCare and was called back within 10 minutes. The Dr. Examined her eye and found no foreign matter but did find a problem and called an ophthalmologist right away and got her an appt for the next day! GREAT DOCTOR DARLENE!!!
I was at work this day and decided I could not wait for my appointment later in the week to be seen, I looked up the number on Google and called the call center, they were able to tell me that they were in network with my insurance and he set me up with a check in appt time, the visit was short and sweet and the NP listened to my concerns and made offers of treatment and I was able to be involved in the decision process. I will come here again if I need medical help asap.
A friend of mine and I went to Fast Med Urgent Care after making an appointment the day before to get a rapid Covid 19 test. We were greeted promptly and professionally. Filled out the necessary forms and gave the required necessary insurance documents , and respective co pays.We were seen at our respective appointment times and were treated cordially, both by the testing technician and the assistant doing the follow-up after the testing was done. This particular Fast Med Urgent Care was one of the few places that was doing the Covid 19 rapid test and you didnt have to wait three days to for an appointment. All in all it was a very positive experience. Definitely recommend going there in an Urgent Care situation.
Finally, someone listened. The visit was easy and quick. I expected to be hanging out a while but the visit was quick and the Dr. Was awesome! This will be my “go to” from here on out!
Made an appointment online. Arrived 5 monutes early. Waited 15 minutes for anyone to even get to the front desk. Rude receptionist, was speaking loudly and shared personal information for my daughter, like the last 4 of her social and birthday. Lectured me on how my insurance worked assuming I didnt know. Overall, awful experience. Wont be back.
I always have had a great experience coming into FastMed . The staff is friendly, honest, and patient. Over the years the nurse practitioner Laura Thompson has always been point on with her diagnosis. We appreciate her, fast med and the entire staff!
I was somewhat skeptical about this facility as I have always used a different Urgent Care. However, I was quite pleased with care given here. Both the nurse practitioner and nurse (tech) were both quite good. I would definitely return
Worst urgent care, I had been here a few times, but the last few were horrible. First I was given the wrong diagnosis without proper testing and had to ask for testing with a response that was like “I guess we can”. Took my daughter and got no medication that she needed, had to take her to her primary to get the medication she needed. All of this by the same provider, the staff was nice, but I highly recommend never going when the PA is on duty, she’s horrible. I will never go there again, would rather sit in an ER for 8 hours. Called corporate office to file a complaint with no answer and no call back.
I am not a happy patient with this place! They recommend that you set an appointment and fill your information out online, then you would not have to wait around. Well I found that experience to be unpleasant. After waiting over an hour past my appointment time I decided to leave! wasnt worth the stress of sitting there waiting to be seen. All these so-called professional doctors, Medical Offices, urgent cares, all expect you to keep your appointment on time. However, you as the patient can be disregarded and left waiting for as long as they wish. Wheres the humankindness in that?Extremely disappointed with this urgent care and the Doctor Who Left Me Waiting so long. Especially with no explanation!Your estimated visit is at 12:45 pm. Youll receive a reminder msg 30 mins before the visit. Please arrive 10 minutes before your visit time.Hello, its time to show up at approximately 12:45 pm. Check with the front desk when you arrive, at least 10 mins before your visit time.
Very efficient checkin. I was a walk-in and seen pretty quickly after checking in. Service provided was very professional and courteous. The doctor resolved an issue I didnt even know I had for the past 7 years and spent a great deal of time to do it. I am very thankful.
I arrived, was greeted, reviewed my paperwork and they came to me to get a signature. Clean, not crowded, quickly handled my issues. Explained what the problem was and what we should do about it. Took a few minutes to get my paperwork review of the appointment and I was on my way. A person came in after their closing time and they gladly helped him.
Thank you for being so nice and very quick!
If I could give a negative star I would give negative 5 star review. My wife came here for COVID. the nurse did not prescribe anything and was afraid to be in the room with my wife. The nurse took my wifes temp for fever and then huddled in the corner while talking to her. The nurse flat out said she was scared to be in the room with my wife and she couldnt prescribe anything.
Fast m, friendly staff. Clean facility
The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I didnt feel like I was patient x everyone interacted with was professional and made sure I was well informed on my next steps. Id drive across town to come to this location first for future labs.
The Nurse said they do not draw blood often but I was surprised at her skill. Couldve been a phlebotomist for all I knew. Wait wasnt that long for having two people ahead of me. The staff was friendly, courteous and very pleasant.
My experience was totally different than some of the poor rated reviews here. This was my first time to Fastmed and it was a great experience considering how awful I felt. Staff was fast and efficient, and the provider that saw me was knowledgeable and friendly. Total time there was less than an hour. I would go again.
My children and I cannot say enough positive things about the ladies who work here! We were welcomed with smiling faces, and kind words. Thank you for helping our family!
The office staff is very professional. The care that Dr Matthew Gravett was very thorough. He took the time to listen to me. If he did not take xray. I might have gotten Covid. And be in the hospital.I will use them. Again if I get I’ll.I did have one complaint. I had a 1015am appt and did not get out until 1230 pm.The wait was long. But service very good and caring.
Janai, Michelle, Lindsey, Emily. From start to finish, I was treated with kindness and respect. Very professional. I will absolutely visit this Urgent Care again.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the dr. gave good advice and suggestions for the problem. I have been getting better daily.
If I could rate this zero stars, I would.Went in today, no customers in clinic only to be told that all the appts were full for the day. Okay well Im a walk in...Well you may have to wait 4-5 hrs as the appts are seen first.I walked outside looked on the door where it read no appts necessary Went back in to ask why did I need an appt when this is an urgent care, the answer I received was... Covid testing blah blah blah. I was then told that they are advising patients to go to the emergency room. Why would I go to the ER for an urgent care issue...not only is the insurance copay higher, it is not an emergency and it exposes more sick people to non sick people.I was so disgusted with their shady practices. If patients could wait on appts then they could just go to doctor. Urgent care should not be booked up totally as it defeats the purpose of the clinic if nonemergency urgent medical care walkins are turned around.
Everyone I spoke with was nice and helpful. It was a great experience. I would go back and I would recommend. I have been to other urgent cares and always advised to go to the ER for even the most basic care. TY
Provider was awful did not listen. I have been feeling dehydrated for 4 weeks eventhough the Facility has IVs she did not give me one because she is not good at IVs. She let me know that she had done it twice and it was a blood bath both times. She also recommended I drink more water like I havent been trying that for 4 weeks then She told me if 24 hours my symptoms didnt get better to go to the emergency Room. The symptoms have already been going on for 4 weeks I dont think 24 hours is going to make a difference. I finally realised she wasnt listening when she asked me if I needed a note for work. If she had been listening when I told her what I did for a living she would know that that would be a ridiculous question to ask. So 100% do not go here unless you dont want help.
I called to see if they had internet check-in but the lady that answered said she could make me an appointment..so convenient and the staff was very pleasant. My appointment with the doctor was prompt and my doctor, Dr R Lane Tassin, MD was efficient and thorough. I was impressed and grateful for the depth of the Doctors explanation, plus he typed up more info for me to take home. I was extremely pleased with my time here and will use them again if I need to and will tell friends and family how pleasant my appointment was.
Didnt have to wait long at all. Tested me for strep throat, which was positive, and got me out with 30 mins. Definitely recommend.
Dr. Vera was amazing and very informative. Im glad I got to see her and felt like she listened and catered to my needs without making me feel rushed or like just another number/patient.
DO NOT GO THERE!!! I’m literally writing this review from the waiting room here at “fast med”... I came in with horrible stomach pain and have been here for an hour and a half! I was the third one to come in when they opened and have yet to be seen. They need to change their name to “slow med... care without urgency” ... this is the second time I’ve had this sort of wait here! The first time I thought it was just the time of day or an anomaly! This place is horrible!!!!
Im never going back here. After having to a pay a $100 co-pay (WITH insurance), the nurse was very rude and not friendly, the doctor I saw wasnt even a doctor and basically told me I can go home and look up Youtube videos on my condition. Never once offered to help me since I was already there. In retrospect, I should have asked more questions, considering Im still in pain and he didnt help at all but to share his personal experience with what I had and it last for 4 weeks. If I have what I have for 4 weeks, I think I would go insane. He was not helpful whatsoever, and Im never coming back here again.
Per usual, urgent care was a waste of time and money. I injured my shoulder/neck Sunday and went to Fastmed Monday morning when I was still in pain. The website advertised a full service clinic including x-rays. At no point did they tell me their x-ray machine was down until I had paid my $75 copay and was already in the exam room. The NP pressed on a couple points, asked if they hurt, offered me a “mild muscle relaxer” and sent me on my way. She suggested x-rays, which they couldn’t complete. She put on my discharge paperwork that my pain was a 4/10. She didn’t even ask. And the “mild muscle relaxer” she prescribed me was so strong that the pharmacist suggested I cut it in half when I picked it up. Save your money and google it instead.
Total ripoff and liars. Called my insurance in advance to find coverage and told to got to this FastMed and it would be a $65 visit fee which I paid at my visit. I also asked before I was seen of the cost. Then get a bill for $400+ dollars 2 months later for a 15 minute visit and got a letter saying my visit was submitted to my insurance carrier and denied. I called my insurance carrier twice over 3 months and they said they never received a claim. Called FastMed billing and spoke to Marilyn in their billing department said it wasnt submitted because they were missing information, yet my receipt from my visit shows they had all the information. She said it would be resubmitted and they wouldnt bill me until the claim was processed, this never occurred. Then 3 months later they billed my credit card without authorization after they said they would resubmit the claim. Checked a month later, it was never submitted to my insurance and yet more bills from them, also the bill never showed/said they also billed my credit card when I paid the remainder with a check. So it doesnt seem to matter what they say, they are liars and cheats. They were also incompetent, they couldnt even take a blood pressure correctly and I had to show the technician how to do it correctly. I have been been a medical practitioner for 30+ years so know the system and the scams. This is one of them.
My experience at this fast med facility was excellent. I set my appointment and registered online. I arrived on time and did not have to wait long, and everyone from the front desk to the clinical staff were friendly, competent, and a pleasure to work with.
The care was fine. we visited this location and the Silverbell location, both times an x-ray was taken. However when I went back to get the medical record (x-rays) assuming that since they are the same company (FastMed), I can get both x-rays. Wrong! They wanted me to drive to the Silverbell location to get the x-ray that was done at that location. why? in this day and age, with the simplest technology, they should be able to provide the medical record from other location (again same company). this was completely unreasonable given they are an urgent care facility so obviously you would go to the closest one at the time of incident. what if I visited the phoenix location? do you want me to drive up there to get the medical record? We needed the x-rays to take to an orthopedic surgeon and going in person with an ID would be the simple way to avoid any privacy issues if requested over the phone or email. Totally unacceptable.
I went to Fast Med, after struggling with a kidney infection that was confirmed at Banner ER four days prior. The staff over there was great, unfortunately my body was not responding to the prescribed antibiotic. I kept getting sicker; high fever, nausea, vomiting, uncontrollable chills even though I was taking the antibiotic and pain meds faithfully. I went to Fast Med and was running yet another high fever. They immediately gave me an injection of an antibiotic that begin to work and lowered my fever of 102.7 to 99 in just a short time. The nurse practitioner Laura was super kind, compassionate and gave me meds that my worked with my body. I left feeling 500% better. Im still on the road of recovery, but I got great service in a time of medical desperation.
I arrived to a friendly front office. My wait was only about 15 minutes. The provider was kind and thorough.
Check in online at 4 pm for 6:45 pm, show at the location at 6:15 and almost 8 pm and haven’t been seen , one of the worst service I’ve ever been go through, when I asked the front desk when we will be seen! She replied “ I don’t know!” There is no respect for time in this urgent care, if it up to me I won’t wait more but it is for daughter 5 years old and she has to be seen. After waiting long time, they had seen my daughter and wrote a prescription, when I went to pick up the prescription, the surprise came, The pharmacist told me he can’t give us the prescription because it’s not wright for my daughter age and the one who issued the prescription doesn’t know what she issued and said no prescription for my daughter because there is a risk of my daughter health if she take it,.,.
Understaffed, theyll take patients out of order so if you wanna be seen fast make a stink about it. I dont, but Ive been skipped many times because I can hear people in the next room doing it. Staffs also rude and dismissive, Im assuming because theyre understaffed theyre in a bad mood. They get it done just make sure you have a few hours and are ready to wait and not have any questions answered. I work in customer service so I understand busy but their rudeness is unwarranted
Everyone was very attentive and polite. My wait time was minimal, which I greatly appreciated. Becki Shumaker FNP was very pleasant as well.I would highly recommend your services.
The ladies that work here including the nurse practitioner, are so caring and made me feel so comfortable in a not so comfortable situation!! Very clean and professional environment. I would definitely recommend to anyone I care about and absolutely go back without any hesitation! Thank you again!
I had an excellent experience with Fast Med. They didnt force me to go online to get the help I needed, which was important, because I turned out to be positive for Covid-19. They got me in quickly, and were wonderful to deal with.
I went to FastMed yesterday (Sun)10-11-20 and i was VERY pleased by the treatment i was given, there was only one old lady who was rude and had a VERY dry sence of humor. The Blondie was absolutely awesome loved her she walked in with a smile and walked out with a smile. The receptionist was also very sweet and kind i would definitely recommend FastMed to all my friends. Thank you.I only gave ×3 stars bcuz that old lady (dont remember her name) shelooked to be around 70yrs old, she needs to retire now if working with people its such a bother to her then this is definitely NOT the place for her to be working at PERRRIOD!!!
I came into FastMed because I have not been feeling well for a few days after I described my symptoms to the provider on duty, she immediately apologized and said that she could not help me and sent me to the emergency room thank goodness she did because I had a severe infection in my large intestine and appendicitis. If she had not sent me to the hospital instead but tried to help me herself I could have had a fatal situation so I am grateful because even though she didnt treat me she was educated enough to know the limits of what FastMed could do and put my interest first thank you she possibly saved my life.
Waited about an hour and a half for the Doctor just to tell me to go to a hospital she didn’t really check my son other than his heart rate.. and said he was dehydrated that he needed an IV. Well i went to the hospital and that was not the case at all. I dont know if she was in a rush because it was closing time but i certainly didn’t feel comfortable with the “diagnosis” he received..
Quick service, friendly and professional staff. Was a pleasure to be taken care of there.
The staff were very professional. I would suggest, however, using technology that restaurants have used for years, and send us all with a pager/buzzer so we can wait outside or in our cars. Having that many people in a waiting room for a half hour is a recipe for disaster. If I wasnt sick when I went in, I may very well be now!
The provider Becki Shumaker was probably the best I’ve had at an urgent care. Just wanted to make a shout-out for her. I was in and out of there in under 30 minutes. Thank you so much! Give this woman a raise!
I came in for routine pre-employment urine collection, ready to provide said specimen. Though there were only a handful of other customers there; I had to wait over 30 minutes before they were ready to accept it, and had become QUITE uncomfortable by that time. They need more people working here, to take better care of customers, especially with such routine procedures.
Front desk was very sweet and helpful. I wish I got her name but she got me in and out fast and handled a disgruntled patient who refused to put on a mask with grace. I will definitely be back for anything that may come up in my future.
The wait was a bit long for being named urgent care. There was one person in front of me. Other than the wait everything else was great. The PA that I met with and the triage nurse were very nice, sweet, and seemed genuinely concerned. You know how some other urgent cares are seemingly impossible and annoyed at the sight of you well these two women were not. Id def recommend going there, but only if Dr.Rosengren is working! lol
Great experience going in. Made an appointment online. Virtually no waiting. Accurate diagnosis and I am thankfully on the mend.
Everything went well, good service, recommended!
I honestly felt more comfortable at this place than I do at my regular doctor. Everyone was super friendly. We had a quick diagnosis and they called my prescription in for me. In and out
Signed in online and filled out paperwork. Still had some paperwork in office but very easy to fill out. Got seen quickly, best times are early in the morning. Great doctors and staff, great prices! Problem solved.
Service was prompt. Was helpful for medication promptly for pain.Bad experience with Triage pct Charles. He was not very alert and poor bedside Manner. When I asked for assistance out of wheel chair he declined and stated cant you on your own stand up? I asked for just a hand and he breathed heavily and sighed. I normally am mobile but came is for kidney infection and with lower back pain. Ater my triage he then returned but didnt explain where he was taking me which was to a bed and when see arrived he never spoke a word so I assumed get out and into bed and figured the next step was wait for a doctor.Im not sure how long his shift is or why he didnt look like he wanted to work in your facility. I also work in a medical office and would never treat a patient like this. Thanks
While the wait may be long, its worth it for me. Im from out of state with no insurance and needed BP meds. I was in and out less than an hour.Clinic is clean and quiet. Staff are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. After reading some reviews of frustration regarding requests of info be sent electronically, I felt the need to say something. The main reason ones request cannot be fulfilled is for everyones protection = HIPPA!Unless there is access to a secure portal, have piece of mind that your privacy is being protected.
The staff was beyond friendly and courteous! They made sure my daughter had a good experience without any fear or anxiety. Im very grateful for the amount of care we received.
The staff was friendly, and the doc was amazing with my 15 month old who had a serve ear infection. I also loved thats its right next to the frys (with a Starbucks) so I was able to grab something for us to eat while waited to been seen. Friendly tip is the Frys Pharmacy closes before the FastMed does on a Saturday. I made the mistake of sending my daughters scripts there last night and had to wait til the pharmacy filled them today around noon. The Pharmacy was really great too!
Staff has absolutely no urgency. Excessive waiting times 1.5 - 2 hours in waiting room, regardless of the fact that the facility is empty, no other patients in waiting room. Nurses standing around discussing personal information, laughing/joking etc, extending your wait time by personal lack of professionalism, and urgency to provide medical care. If I could give this facility a zero, I absolutely would. Unprofessional, nowhere close to urgent. Will never ever bring my child here again.
The staff is not only very professional, they make.you feel comfortable, very cheerful, not at any point in the few times ive been there.for myself and my son have we had a bad experience there. I recommend it to others. Its quite impossible to find people that enjoy what they do so much it rubs off on someone else.MichelleAndZacharyRussellMom and son
Very friendly staff and quick and easy. I made an appointment online and was able to be seen that afternoon. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I was well cared for. Definitely recommend.
The office, etc. was clean...personnel professional and I got a written explanation of how to take my meds and what to do if I wasn’t better in a specified amount of time. My son went there a week later than I did and he too came away feeling that his care was also very good. Fastmed gets an A plus from our family.
This was painless as far as Urgent Care goes. I was seen by Becki Shumaker. She was kind compassionate and listened to me. I was diagnosed correctly and efficiently. I recommend you check in online if its flu season. This will expedite your visit.
All the employees were great w me. At one location ran late but made it up by sending to another facility that was less busy.. I was taken in right away..all friendly, quick and accurate..
Staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone we saw. My daughter had fallen and cut under her chin and we were hoping to avoid a costly trip to the er and my daughter was terrified at the thought of getting a shot and or stitches. Shes three so its a big deal for her. They were willing to try to glue and butterfly bandage it. Luckily as well my daughter held very still when she understood that it would help to avoid any needles. Her cut is healing really well so far and she is back to her happy energetic self. We even had time after to still visit my grandparents as planned on our day trip to Tucson from Phoenix!
Was told it would be a 1 hour wait. I waited for almost 3 hours. A last came in c/o shortness of breath the woman at the front desk couldnt even be bothered by her. She handed her a phone and said call an ambulance. A man in line grabbed the phone and called 911 because the lady couldnt do it. It was ridiculous tbh. It sucked all the way around!!
Outstanding care. I was able to schedule an appointment online in advance and there was no wait period.Care received was excellent! I would highly recommend!!!
Read the fine print! They wouldnt see me unless I signed paperwork allowing direct withdrawal from my bank account or paid 2 and a half times deductible in cash. Was hard to ask questions due to no one being at front desk for extended periods of time. I dont even think that treatment is legal. Ive never heard of an in network health care provider not providing care because people dont have a multiple of their co-pay.
FastMed had been our go-to medical facility until this year. The last two times Ive been in have been disappointing, since the loss of their really good NP. In addition, the male nurse treated me like I was a criminal for coming in for a matter I couldnt get in to my doctor (two-week wait) to address, and the wait time in the waiting room was over an hour on the second trip (two people in the waiting room ahead of me), THEN another half hour in the exam room.Tonight, my husband went in after work, and was behind only one person in the waiting room. Its now been two hours since he went there and the office is closed. He still isnt sure hell be seen.So much for Fast service. They need to change their name, and we need to find another urgent care.
They saw me quickly, even without an appointment. Very nice place.
They’re super nice and know how to do a strep test. I had it done at a different urgent care and it came back negative, don’t know maybe it was too soon or something to show up in a test but I was diagnosed treated and now feel better.
I had gone in to get a TB test. The staff was decent, not rude or anything, clean waiting area, movie playing in the background, great. However the wait time was excruciating... I arrived at about 10 am and the rooms were full and at about 10:30 am they had taken another walk-in... meanwhile they had about eight to ten people (including myself) waiting.... I have no problem waiting but I had to be at work & I had also left school early so I could make sure I had enough time in between.... I am not complaining about the wait, but more so on the fact that I just needed a quick test done but they had taken in another person before myself and the others who were also patiently waiting.... I guess I am trying to suggest maybe that they separate the sick patients and the people who come in for test and things of that nature. However only a suggestion. Two people have already left, Im assuming because of the wait time.Side note; another women who had been here before myself, had been waiting so long that she was able to walk to Starbucks and come back and still not be seen... another thing that is not so important but I will still mention it is that their wifi is not the best. Lol, but like I said that is not important.
The wait was not bad and they were able to fit my needs when I needed to step out. The experience was managed by well knowledged nurses.
