I was extremely appalled at the condition of this clinic. We had to wait outside in the middle of the summer over an hour past our appointment time due to construction. There was no space available inside to wait so patients sat on the curb outside the door. This is unacceptable for a health care facility. The interior was absolutely filthy, damaged, and not fit for providing services. The exam room did not have any handwash sink or sanitizer, therefore the providers did not have clean hands before touching my daughter. Zero introduction or name tags on the staff members so who knew what their role was as they entered the room. I did not feel safe or comfortable here and was on the verge of leaving had I not already waited over an hour with my sick child. I’m filing a complaint with my insurance provider that they would endorse services at this clinic. I would never come back here and recommend others to pick someplace else.
Emergency issue and it seems, this is the only place that see walk-in patients. There was some kinda advertisement, emergency 2.4 hours, access 1.0 hour.Waiting time is long, but not bad.The nurse assistant and the doctor are genuinely nice and competent people. The status of the facility in terms of clean … see the pictures!Ohhh … the bill for this quick visit…OUCH. OUCH. OUCH OUCH.!!!!!!
The visit was fine. Check in was fast and pleasant reception. The nurse practitioner was great. The only negative was the nurse practitioner said she was going to call in a prescription and didn’t. I have tried to contact them the next day and couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. I finally called the pharmacy to see if it had been sent. 24 hours later the prescription was ready.
The staff was very friendly. I only had to wait maybe five Minutes. I would suggest Medical clinic to any friend or family when you’re already either in pain or not feeling good. You don’t wanna have to wait hours upon hours to see a doctor. They are amazing there. I am thankful for them.
Have visited this urgent care twice now and BOTH times I got NO RESULTS!!! First visit I NEEDED a referral to a specialist.....I googled it before I went to see if urgent care ppl could refer drs.....from what I read on Google.....YES THEY CAN!!! So I went, asked, and was told I needed to tell my PCP!! Well I no longer have a PCP cause that idiot wouldnt do much as do an exray of my chest with me sitting in the room telling him my chest was hurting and felt like my arm was gonna fall off!! 2nd time there I was told an off the wall diagnosis! I then asked her to swab this area of need and she said there is nothing to swab....all she was seeing was raw, red, swollen and there needed to be some sort of drainage coming out! Ok so Im not a Dr by no means but even I KNOW that any skin, ANY SKIN AND ANY PART OF THE BODY CAN BE SWABBED if there if a suspicion of something going on either by the patient or Dr!!! Well nope!!!......NOT according to this so called Dr!!!!!! Funny that is...,...10 years ago I had this same issue and I went to my Dr at that time and she SWABBED the area and we got a diagnosis alright.....one that made A LOT of sense yet this Dr told me it couldnt be done!!! Well bottom line this Dr did not want to do her job!! Therefore AGAIN NO RESULTS!!!!
The building was being remodeled so I had to wait in my truck but it was okay. I didnt have a long wait once I was inside. The triage nurse was so nice and personable. The ARNP was very nice and knew exactly what was wrong. Im going to have to have surgery on my hand but she had the exact same problem previously and put me at ease. She showed me her thumb and I hope my procedure goes as well as hers did.
I made an appointment with them and they said it would be at 1:40 and then I got there early and I wasn’t able to go back there till 2:50 or so. They called back 2 walk In people one that was their before me and one that was after me. So I said something when they called back the second person. Then they were like yeah you’re getting called next. My friend in that 2 hour wait went up to the front desk and waited there to have nobody come and help. So she wrote on a card siding that they were slow. Also I’m not sure if it’s just me… but when you call to make an appointment means you have stuff you need to do still during the day and that you get back there faster, and walk ones are able to sit and wait because there’s no appointments made and have time during there day. Just me I guess?! And the tech was not very nice I have a second dregree burn all over my back and arms legs and chest she was like ohh sit up straight I was like I can’t I’m bloating and it hurts while taking my blood pressure it got way to tight because she put it to low to were my fingers turned purple I work in the medical field and when a arm can’t be used you use the wrist she did not do that I had to wait 30 more minutes to see the doctor and waiting another 40 mins to get my papers to leave so I do not recommend this location
Urgent care was not urgent at all! Scheduled appointment for a reserved time and still had to wait in lobby for 45 minutes! Then I was taken to an exam room where I waited just short of an hour to see the nurse practitioner . If I was a less patient person I would have left. The entire time spent at the office was over two hrs just to see the APRN for less than 5 min so she could refill a medication and send me on my way. Staff were nice but the wait was absolutely ridiculous; they really need to work on that! I would not recommend especially if you’re in any pain!
Had an appointment at 11 stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before anyone even realized I was there. Then had to wait in my car for 10 minutes before being pulled back. Get back into the room to then have to wait another 30 minutes before even seeing the nurse practitioner! And to also put out there I was the only patient in the office!
I scheduled an appointment for 1pm the following day, I arrived on time and wasn’t seen until 2:30pm. Once I was called back I immediately had to wait another half hour to be told I had Covid and then proceeded to wait another 45mins for discharge. Was told my medicine was sent to my pharmacy so I went to wait in line for another half hour to be told they never sent it. I had to call the desk and have them “re-send” my medication, then drive back to the pharmacy and continue to wait before finally receiving it and getting home by 6:00pm. Most likely NEVER returning. 👍🏼
Omg! Never ever have had as good as a experience at the hospital or Drs office as I did at Urgent Care! I was so nervous and uncomfortable and the nurse that saw me before the Dr was sooo reassuring and comforting I swear by this place! Love, love, love the Urgent Care center at 29th and Garnett!!!!!!!!
When my visit was over they did not give me my discharge paperwork. I’m like okay I’m going to trust they’re sending my medication to pharmacy. I call pharmacy hours later and they did not get it. I called Urgent Care to ask them to call it in. They said they only had one doctor so they couldn’t but that they can resend it. I still haven’t got it a day later. I don’t understand what’s so hard about having one of medical assistants call it in really quick. It only takes a minute. I used to work there before and I know what it’s like. They’re not calling my prescription in with excuse that they’re short. That’s ridiculous and Not good patient care. By the way I still haven’t got my medicine called in. I’ve already called pharmacy again. This is an issue and needs to be fixed.
Im so greatful for Access Medical Center. Its always fast to get in to see a Doctor. You can schedule through the app. The Nurse he was So kind and I truly Loved my Doctor Shannon. She was just such a truly nice and caring Doctor. I would rather go to Acess Medical Center than any Hospital ER. Oh also The Staff are so very kind too! Thank you Dr. Shannon
I came in for a TB test and got booked easily and fast. however, the staff was friendly but too talkative amongst each other a not focused, the wait time was very awful for a slow day..it was a friday and hardly anyone was there.
Today was our first visit. The staff was kind and courteous, and took the time to hear our concerns and our visit didnt take long. They accept soonercare and even printed a copy of our card as we mentioned we may have lost it. Would definitely recommend if you cant get into your primary care and dont need ER.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with medical office. I am traveling nurse and was due for testing and TB draw. It was already paid for and I had paperwork done within minutes. 4.5 hours later I was rushing to leave. There were never lines or people so why this office runs so terrible is beyond me. This office did have a bilingual receptionist that was nice the first time I went the second time I went she was snarky and hateful and rude. And he say why did you go a second time because they messed up my labs and did not put a label on it so I had to go back the next day and do it all over again all they were going to have to do is draw the TV and I sat there for almost 2 hours. I decided that Ive had enough cuz when I checked in every 20 to 30 minutes she was getting more hateful. I actually called my employer and asked multiple times to be relocated to a different location because this was getting uncomfortable there was no one in the waiting room for that 2 hours I was there one person walked in an hour after me and then checked in and they were taken back. The receptionist is being very rude. I have rechecked every half hour why it is taking so long. I understand a triage service but literally she didnt enter my paper work for an hour. At that time I got text for paperwork!? I let her know I had plans but scheduled to be here more than enough time and she just ignored me. Then she looks paste and says next. There was no one there. This is not a location I will ever return too and I have asked my employer to never use this company again. When I asked for a corporate number or owner information she turns without a word leaves area of her desk where public cant see thwn returned with post it with phone number. I thanked her and say down to call. This number was a patient liaison who I left my contact info with.Normally I am very understanding of the rigid time constraints of a medical offi. When I asked if theres anything I can do to hasten the process she just ignoring me didnt answer look past me and then I asked her you know except for someone to talk to you its a blood draw you know I didnt need to see a doctor or anybody else and been there two hours she didnt answer me so I turned around I walked out the front door went to my car and called my employer. This office is a waste of time and effort on my part so I will have to go yet another time to finish. That you can bet that Im going to tell every person I know how bad your office was
Have always had good experiences here. I saw Haleigh and was impressed. She was kind and thorough. Also good to give a doctors note if you are going to need to be out of work. Only negative is that any lab is apparently not accepted by insurance so I had to pay like 182. 00.
I made an appointment for 1120, arrived at 1110 with my paperwork already submitted online. There was no one ahead of me on the “appointment” waitlist but 5 people on the “walk in” waitlist. I sat in the lobby until 1220 while the whole “walk in” list was called back before I was called back I asked how much longer she said “you’re Next” and I waited another 10 minutes. The facility was dirty, dated, and I felt gross just walking back. I got my vitals taken and was directed to another room and told “it’s going to be a while, you’ll still have to wait” your lungs sound bad and you probably need a chest xray. iIt’s now been 2 hours waiting, with an appointment. Leaving and going to another urgent care that I KNOW has great customer care and is actually true to their appointments.Dirty facility, long wait lines, don’t honor appointments. Slowest, worst customer service I’ve had at an urgent care
I Have Been Going here for Years !I always get these bad allergies and bad cough around this time of year due to season change, SoReceptionist was great however, the doctor Was horrible She had a really bad attitude. I dont know if it was because I was the last patient of the day because when i was leaving they had all the lights off and they where just waiting on me to leave or her complaining about her own allergies bothering her was just getting her into a bad mood But I did not deserve her disrespectful attitude i never had this happen coming to this clinic but just for this reason i am happy to never go back !! Her name was Dr. Rober & i do plan on seeking further actions on a cooperate complaint .(Unfortunately, I have to put a star to post, but if I had the option not to, I would definitely not put a star)
Such a wonderful experience for me and my twin babies! Staff was so nice and helpful and they were such great advocates for the girls not doing unnecessary tests!! Best Urgent Care experience possible!!
Just released from hospital & still had severe pain in back. Got rite in to Access & quickly diagnosed shingles. They explained everything to me, wrote rx & I was on my way to pharmacy within 15 mins. The staff was kind, friendly, very efficient & professional. I was completely impressed w/the entire operation. Kudos! Good to know u r available in times of need. Thank u so very much!
They tell you they are sending your prescription to your choice of pharmacy, when in reality they don’t. They give you a slip that you have to take up there then have to wait hours until it’s filled, so you have to make multiple trips. If that’s something that annoys you, go somewhere else and don’t give this place anymore room for growth. My daughter was prescribed medication that I’m going to be getting 24 hours after the appointment because they didn’t properly communicate what was going on. I’ve been here multiple time throughout my life, as a kid and an adult. They have always digitally sent it over but for whatever reason decided to make this trip difficult which hasn’t helped my daughters symptoms. Do better and send the prescription digitally. It’s 2024 for god sakes, quit wasting paper and send it digitally like every other place. Don’t waste your time with this place.
I visited this urgent care because I thought I was having a heart attack. My chest was hurting, and my arm was going nome. My blood pressure was really high, and then the Dr Ali yeah came to my room to explain to me I was having a panic attack and started to explain how she feels when she has one. Im pretty sure that it wasnt that. Thats why I went there very convenien location. The only thing that they did was an EKG to check my heart. And this call doctor treated me and make sign a paper saying that they were not responsible if something happened to me if I wasnt going to ER. I wont go there anymore in case of an emergency. Ill rather go to other urgent care. They said that they wont tolerate anything, but they can treat you how they want. Ah, I dont think so.
It was terrible. If wasnt for my insurance, I would have had to pay almost $400 just to number sit a wait, when the building was empty. They checked his normal stuff, and gave him some Tylenol??? What a rip off. The nurses was nice. Thats all I can say.
The new medical staff is amazing. Covid swab didnt hurt, very personable, and quick with results. I hope they train and keep more staff like them
There was only one doctor. Had to come back 2 1/2 hrs later. The pharmacy I use Unidos in Tulsa was not in your system so I had to get a written Rx and then have to wait in line to give them the rx then wait to get. You all need to put them in.
I came in for an std panel just to be safe along with 2 of my friends and they tested my friends like they asked but I didnt get tested like Id asked they looked at the rash on my side and called it a day. I waited an hour in the room to talk to the doctor and get urine tested and blood drawn and she just looked at my rash and told me to use a steroid cream for it. They didnt test me for anything that Id asked for, but they tested my friends. Update: I got a call from the clinic about my review and they tried to tell me I never asked for a panel. I was a walking and when I was making my appointment I stated that I was there for an std check and even asked the front desk lady what all I would need to do is pee in a cup and blood draw, when I got pulled back by my nurse mary, after checking my weight she asked why I was in and said for an std check so I mentioned my rash and how I wanted to get an std check just to be safe, I got put in the room to wait for the doc and I waited 45 minutes before I was seen( while I was waiting I heard alot of laughter beyond the door) when the doc came in I mentioned my rash again amd how I just wanted a std check just to make sure it was nothing she looked at my rash and prescribed me steroid cream for it and sent me on my way. Now I should have insisted on the panel my self however I didnt thats my bad but not an hour after I left I received a call and was basically yelled at by mary because you never mentioned wanting an std check I came in with 2 friends who were also there to get checked and as moral support and we all asked when being scheduled for an std panel. They got theres and I did not. And when I was filling out the paper work on my phone Like I was asked by the lovely front desk lady I put my reason for visit as std idk how much clearer I should have been. But mary continued to yell at me and say I never mentioned wanting a std check so I hung up on her because Im not going to be told I didnt do something I know I did just because she was trying to save her hide. The front desk lady was lovely and that is the only positive thing I have to say about this clinic.
It was not a long wait the employee was very nice and polite the doctor that took care of my sickness was very understanding and took time to talk to me and made it understanding to what was going on she was a practitioner that is in one of the rooms
Saw a PA with an attitude and super entitled. Talked down to me like I’m the idiot. Didn’t send antibiotics scripts on time. Had to call several times to find out what was going on and why am I chasing down staff to get a simple task done but anytime you get someone to answer it’s just carelessness and attitudes. Good luck.
Brought my son in today & the nurse Maribel was the most sweetest person ever with him & very patient! We will definitely be coming back!
I had came in for a non emergency matter. It was something small that was bothering me. This was my 2nd visit btw , and everyone else were really nice. From the nurse that checked me in to the doctor that treated me. She did a very nice job. However, the front desk clerk lol it’s a whole different story . It’s the attitude. It’s either she doesn’t like her job, or she hates people lol.
Wonderful place clean and service was fast and the nurse and doctor were very down to the point and nice thanks
I went in for possible flu. I did not have a fever at the time of my visit because I had just taken a shower and I was in an air conditioned car. My skin was cool. Had it been taken orally, a fever would have registered as it did when I returned home. My blood pressure is normally high but shoots up due to white coat syndrome. I was also on several OTC decongestants and my sodium intake had increased as the only thing I was able to eat was Pringles. I informed the triage nurse of this and warned them that the more of an issue made of it, the higher it goes. As warned my BP was very high. The nurse told the doctor which is fine and protocol, then he made me lay down with nothing but my own anxiety hoping that it would go down. In the 10-15 minutes that I laid there, it did go down a bit. The doctor barely examined me for anything. My flu/covid test was negative so that was good news but I still have been running a fever for 5-6 days with drainage and wheezing. The focus was so much on my BP and being treated as if I had never heard the warnings that I was barely examined for anything else. My lungs were only checked after I mentioned wheezing. My throat was not looked at at all and until I informed the doctor that I knew all of the warnings of a stroke and that I have a masters degree was I treated with any amount of respect. The change from being treated as a moron to a person with a brain was immediate. I was finally allowed to leave being diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. My paperwork shows that I refused an ambulance ride to the ER. I was not offered a ride to the ER. Yes, I would have refused it most likely but it was NOT offered. I went in because I am sick. I was not treated for my illness but instead hounded about a situation that I am very aware of. It is exactly this scenario that keeps me from going to the doctor in the first place. Very unhappy about the entire visit and really mad that I spent $50 for absolutely nothing. I even had to tell her what to write on my note to excuse me from work and the note that I left with makes no sense whatsoever. I left with a script for an inhaler and told to continue the OTC medication.
Checked in at 2:14 pm and front desk didn’t ask what I was here for just stared at me. After checking in with her she didn’t tell me that I’ll receive a text to submit paperwork to be seen in the back. She just told me it’ll be a 20 min wait and told me to have a seat. I literally waited an hour and after scrolling through my text I realize I had to submit my paperwork through the text I received. Please make sure your front desk is polite and respectful and asks questions rather than say “I can help you at this window “ and just stare at you when you go to them. Please be informative before telling them to have a seat.
Got in quick to take vitals and tell them my symptoms dr aliyeah Roger’s DO after talking with her she ordered and i was given breathing treatment also chest x-ray of lungs. she came back after looking at x-rays told me her diagnosis then ordered treatment medications for possible pneumonia but wheezing still after treatment so congestion. will call after another doctor views lung x-rays and agrees if not she will not call . checked out with her findings and and instructions. Very thoroughly cared for by all even the young man that took me back and the young girl that gave me the breathing . Thank you Urgent care
The staff were all respectful and professional. They got me in and out quickly while still thoroughly explaining what might be effecting me at the time.
I need an explanation on the billing practices of this company.I visited the Access Medical Care center in need of a physical and a flu shot. The receptionist immediately said that insurance would not cover any of this without ever having taken my insurance information. I asked for the entire out-of-pocket cost of a physical and a flu shot. I asked multiple times if there would be any further costs beyond the price I was given. I was assured it would only be the amount I was told, so I agreed and paid for these services. After I was seen, I asked a second receptionist if I could expect any further charges, and I was assured I had already paid. I then asked for an itemized receipt, which showed more than the amount I paid. I asked again, if I could expect more charges to cover the difference in what the statement showed and the amount I paid. I asked for that assurance in writing. I was refused and brushed off with billing will figure it out, you dont have to worry about that.Had the possibility of further costs been divulged before the initial payment, I would have gone elsewhere, as the cost was already at the limit of what I was willing to pay for these services. After having asked directly multiple times, I would have hoped the information I was given would be accurate. I understand they may have been working under limited knowledge. However, to be given inaccurate information at my own expense is unacceptable.
I was really sick and the staff there are very compassionate and the Dr I seen explained everything to me. After my visit I was feeling so much better, thank you staff an Dr.
Waiting time was great, didn’t have to wait long. Nurses were awesome, doctor really paid attention to my problem and took care of it. Thank you
They gave me what I came for I appreciate great people left in this country I think they were overwhelmed but I think you know that
Ive had to visit for 3 occasions and each theyve always been professional and helped me get better with whatever was the issue.
Im U.S. Army Veteran and I can always make it to the VA Clinic during the week. If something physically is bothering me I go to Access Medical Center on 31 and Garnett. They have a great staff there and the wait is long. I book my appointment online, arrive, PA visit and release. At max I there less than 45 minutes.
They were very careful and helpful and provided me. With quality information that I needed. I recommend it to anybody.
Went to Access Medical Centers Urgent Care today for my baby and I, and they saw us right away. We waited 5-10 min in the waiting area until we were called in. The staff from the front desk, the nurse and doctor who saw us were all kind, professional and helpful. I recommend this Urgent care for those who live near it. Thank you to all the staff who saw us today I truly appreciate your help.
Upon arrival every point of contact was met by friendly, compassionate and professional staff.I have high anxiety and situational claustrophobia and was very worried about the diagnostics and treatment processes.Because I had confidence in the staff I felt that they would understood my anxiety if I should start feeling anxious but I never felt overwhelmed.I would recommend this URGENT CARE highly.
Fast, easy and convenient online booking at any time. You can complete nearly all paperwork online ahead of time. They also take walk-ins!Friendly staff, short wait time (with an appt is a little quicker, but walk-in is still quick. Thats what I did yesterday and waited under 10 mins. Knowledgeable, compassionate medical staff. I highly recommend!
BEEN HERE MULTIPLE TIMES EVERYTIME I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AND SOME HOW END UP BEHIND WALK-INS SPENDING MOST OF MY DAY HERE WHEN IT SHOULDNT BE LIKE THAT IF I SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT STAFF WAS RUDE UPON ME ASKING WHY WE WERE STILL WAITING IF AN APPOINTMENT WAS MADE
Terrible service 😞. I made an appointment online for 5:45pm.Got there by5:30 . Other ppl Hispanic origin came off the street and was seen before me. I know its according to the severity. The ppl could not understand why it was an hr later and I was still waiting. Went to tell them about this no reply. Finally when I saw Dr, or whoever, I perceived to tell her of my problem, she left me in room asif she wanted me to leave. She did not understand my complaint nor showed empathy for me complaints. I walked out bo was 180 /102 . Terrible, I am also os Hispanic decent. But they did not know. I will never go here again. They are very prejudice .
The building needs repairs long wait time told to do the wrong thing had one stitch removed to day I see another one that needs removed still have to go to the hospital ER tomorrow to remove other stitche I dont want to go back there anymore. I dont know if they even have a regular MD on staff there or not.
Service, care, and treatment are wonderful. Best care from an urgent care I have ever received.Building is filthy... They definitely need a cleaning. Walls, floors, chairs.. not great.
Terrible experience. We had an unusual situation, so we called to make sure they could handle it. We were assured it was no problem. When I filled out the online paperwork, I filled in our reason for visiting and again, no one said it would be a problem. When we arrived, a nurse took my vitals and asked what was going on, and we explained, and she didnt even blink - sure, we can take care of that, was her whole vibe. And then we met the PA, Chris.Chris ignored what we had to say, talked over us, and refused to help, all with the bedside manner of a student-loan debt collector. Chris the PA needs to find a line of work better suited to his personality, like maybe anything that doesnt involve people or compassion. Finally, after treating us with complete contempt, he GRUDGINGLY said he would go ahead and help, as if Id have let him anywhere near me after that. Avoid this place - and PA Chris - at all costs.
Told the doctor that I was feeling nauseous and I threw up this morning and last night. I would like a doctors note, couldn’t give me one for yesterday but couldn’t give me one for today. Doesn’t even make sense.
Really frustrated with this facility. My boyfriend has epilepsy and we have been out of his medicine for going on 4 days. I have had to miss work for 4 days and about to lose my job because they can never have his prescription right and i cant leave him alone having confused spells and dripping in sweat and throwing up. I asked for samples and they wont give me any. His prescription was cancelled when i tried to call it in. I am so tired of being treated as if his epilepsy is a game. I called first thing this morning and still nothing. I guess they dont care im going to lose my job right at Christmas time meanwhile i am pregnant with two kids already to care for also. It is so much stress on me when i try everything i can to just get his medicine and every month its a problem.
I had to come in after cutting my finger on a vegetable slicer, and they were so helpful and kind. The PA took great care of me and the doctor on staff was great at lifting my spirits because I was anxious and freaked out about the bleeding. Grateful I didn’t have to wait more than a minute or two to be taken back to be seen because there was no one in front of me.
My nurse Marybell was so nice and caring. The doctor was very nice and helpful. Will definitely come back. Front office staff was so friendly and inviting.
The Doctor and the attending doctor was great! I felt comfortable and happy
I had a good Dr visit they were quick and accurate it was nice how fast they got me in and out
Great urgent care to go employees always nice and friendly only thing is always a long waitlist in waiting long in room for doctor but other then that great urgent care.
Be careful with this place. I went there in July and paid my co-pay in person. They now just sent me a bill for the exact amount my insurance EOB says I don’t owe. I called my insurance and they said that I definitely don’t owe it and they can lose in-network status for charging it to me. Unfortunately getting someone on the phone with Access Medical is impossible. I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes and haven’t been able to speak to a single person.
All the staff is very friendly and professional. Although there were several people in the waiting room call me it wasn’t long before it was my turn. The whole process was very quick. I found the staff knowledgeable and the doctor was great in understanding the issue that I was having and prescribing what looks like is going to be the best medicine for resolving my issue. The doctor also went the extra mile in doing additional testing to ensure there was not an underlying issue being overlooked.Great job!!
Wouldn’t recommend this urgent care. Very run down, filthy, and dingy. Staff is not friendly at all. The provider we seen just liked to talk over us, and not listen to what we had to say at all. Made an appointment, and still waited two hours even with an empty waiting room. Only come here if you absolutely have no other options.
Very nice staff. Knowledgeable doctors. Easy to get in and be seen.
Quick in and out visit for my son who hates waiting in offices. Great improvement to healthcare when you are able to hop online & book appointment
I didn’t have to wait overly long. I’d been there before, although it had been years since, so I didn’t have to fill out much paperwork. Got an x-ray of a broken rib and advice about breathing deeply so there was no risk of developing pneumonia, which can happen when painful breathing makes you breathe shallowly.
I always use access they do a great jobThe one on Garrett in Tulsa is the best one Ive used by far love the staff there
Great visit. Supernice office and medical staff. Good doctor that took time to explain everything.
You guys really took care of me. Very respectful and clean environment
Got seen quickly. Staff was nice and helpful. Hope to be feeling better soon
I made an appointment and they canceled it because they said I was registered twice. I waited almost two hours.
My experience for a sinus infection was fine but it took an hour and a half.
Staff was very professional but the building itself is starting to look rundown ( peeling paint, dust, peeling wallpaper, dirty corners, dirty entryway, dirty windows including plexiglass, dirty ceiling in restrooms & dirty walls) . Waiting room was ok overall ( tv wasn’t on )
Easy check in process online. Not much of a wait once in exam room. Provider was thorough. We were done within an hour of our arrival.
Friendly staff, easy check-in, knowledgeable doctors.I never hesitate to go here on evening/weekends or if my Primary is unavailable.
Got in super fast and felt like I was in great hands
Long wait. They didn’t remember my allergies and told me to take meds that I’m allergic to.
Waited 45 minutes to be seen and was not given anything for pain at all. And knee is swollen more.
I been there several times and very few good doctors that actually care and KNOW what they are doing.Since my regular caregiver has been so full with appointments its difficult to be seen quickly. Its a good place to get your needs temporarily.I will say it does need to be more clean. The room was sort of dirty and I noticed the area where patients can sit or lie on was dirty so we sat in chair. Nurse came(not main doctor) after we was leaving and sprayed with disinfectant spray yet there needs more than that! Some wiping down and then spraying would be better.Other than it needing to be a bit more cleaner the doctor past few times knew exactly what my son & I needed and was friendly and well educated about meds that could help us instead of making us return cause they/and other places do this all the time. That was a great Doctor and hope he sticks around.
My appointment was at 11:15am but I went in at 10:50am and I was waiting for whole hour to see the doctor when I should’ve went in 11:15am
Absolutely the best urgent care they take a lot of pride in caring and understanding their patients. I seen Dr Amy today and she was the kindest, & sweetest doctor I’ve ever met…the nurse is also great!!
Went in for a physical. The staff was very friendly, professional and fast
It was a long wait but the receptionist was very nice about giving a time frame. Everyone was nice and took care of business as quickly and caring as possible. Only thing all the chairs are facing a TV with nothing on it. I know the sick comes to be seen but sometimes just taking your mind off whats going on for a moment means alot.
We brought my 5yr old granddaughter in due to a smashed thumb that might be broken. We had to set an appointment then after setting past the appointment we was told by the office that they seen we had an appointment that was past the time. Was told to sit and wait til called. We then watched an adult get called back ahead of a child. Then the PA and nurse were cold and rude to my granddaughter at first. This is not how a medical place should treat toddlers. The woman behind the desk should not treat ppl the way she did. Personnel seemed more worried about receiving a paycheck the taking care of patients. The PA told my granddaughter that a 3yr old handled the same issue better. Really what the hell telling a child that. My granddaughter had passed out tired from crying due to her pain.
Everyone was very nice and the wait wasnt long at all!
The office staff is always efficient and knowledgeable. Every Doctor that I have seen there is friendly and assessed my medical situation quickly and correctly. I always receive the proper medication and it’s always ready when I go to the Pharmacy. I am thoroughly pleased with the care I have received.
I like how the staff is polite. And the doctor have the patients to understand what you have to say.. And answer your questions...i always come here when my kids are sick. And all the times i have gone..i Always have a good experience.. That why i keep coming back here.. Keep up the good work.. Always a clean place to come to not to worried of my kids touching stuff. Best experience i ever had in a clinic..
Wait time was 2 hours with an appointment!! Then once we were seen, the Dr looked at my Daughter for 5 minutes then brushed us out the door!
Rating would be higher. Made prior appointment came and it was closed with no warning. Made 2nd appointment at 8 am. Came at 745 still closed. It is now 816 my appointment was for 8 and it is still closed. With no warning. Probably wont be back. Ever.
It usually takes a little longer to get in and get seen as a walk in, but its important to note that they treat each person with the same level of attention, no matter how full the waiting rooms might be. They are always kind and Ive always left with a little extra piece of mind after needing to take my children in to be seen.
Dr. Hunter was GREAT. I had poison ivy for the first time in my life. He clearly and thoroughly explained to me how to treat it at home. He gave me the choice of taking some pills to rid of it or get a shot for quicker results. I appreciated that. I chose the shot, the nurse who administered the shot was super sweet and did a fantastic job. The ladies in the office were great as well. Im thankful to all who helped me today.
Great and friendly staff always there when I needed something 👍
I was very pleased with the staff and Doctor at Access Medical Center Urgent Care. I was brought back immediately upon arrival and seen right away by Dr. Christopher Hunter who has an excellent bedside manner…which is pretty rare these days. I will definitely go back in the future when needed.👍
My primary care doctor was completely booked yesterday and I needed to be seen. Im so glad I came to access medical. I was a new patient but was still seen as a walk in within 15 minutes. Even in the back I didnt have to wait long at all. Dan was very personable and very helpful. Back staff was great too. This will be my new urgent care place for sure.
I am so thankful for Access Medical Center. I was able to book my appointment online. It was so easy to do. My wait time wasnt long. The staff was very nice. The nurse that I had was so easy to talk to about my concerns. The doctor listen and explained to me what I need to know to get better. I also like the steps that they are taking to keep everyone safe 😷
Needed a rapid COVID test after my appointment at another location was canceled. I walked in and they were able to see me immediately. The whole team is very pleasant and professional, from the front desk to the techs to the nurses. I would highly recommend them.
2929 South Garnett site Tulsa Oklahoma: I called (took forever to get through due to COVID-19), the gentleman offered me an appointment for the next day since they were booked for that day. I went online and filled out my paperwork in advance. The next morning I got a reminder text for the appointment and a link to check in when I arrive. I followed the instructions, checked in and went in. I didnt have to wait very long for my appointment. They were very polite and kind, and trying to keep me calm (I was worried about my exposure to Covid-19). The lady checking me in was very polite and professional. The doctor was kind and listened to me. Thank The Lord my test was negative. The doctor said if I start having symptoms to come back. I forgot to ask if I need to self quarantine for a few more days. I was really impressed. ❣️.
Great staff! We went in for COVID tests and the ladies at the front were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. Very friendly and polite. The physician that did our testing a was very thorough and let us know what to expect before he performed the swabs. We couldn’t have had a better visit, I’m so appreciative of their kindness towards me, my husband and daughter!
Very. Thorough dr and great bedside manners ! He was very thorough and listened to me. He knew i wasnt after pain pills but eanting to cure my dental abscess, so im glad I went rather then wait for it to get worse. Thank you!
For the most part it seemed to be a good place to go I was in and out pretty fast I was in so much pain was nt able to walk. The only problem I had was I couldnt get my prescriptions for a couple of days later
I’ve been coming here for 30 Years, and I have to say today was the best experience I’ve ever had. Dr Maxwell was engaging, informative and really knew his stuff. From weigh in, all the way to his diagnosis, it was great. The MA Maleny was fantastic too. She was so smooth that I did not even feel it when she gave me a shot. I hope I get Dr Maxwell the next time I come in. He is an amazing Doctor!! If I could give them 100 stars, I would!
The in-take staff were very helpful and courteous. The waiting room was clean and socially distanced. The work-up nurse was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The Physician Assistant was courteous, empathetic, and informative. The exam room was sterile. The check-out process was easy and efficient. Overall, it was a good visit.
My visit was very helpful. I feel so much better.
Had no idea that had changed names but they also kept old information. After making a phone call I found out they are in my plan and I could make an appointment online. This is very nice and cut my time I would have been waiting somewhere else and then they even had all my pharmacy information so I didnt have to wait hours instead the entire start time to getting medicine was a total of 3 hours instead of a whole day
Completely terrible experience. In need of nothing more than a few lines of data written on a short official form, this morning I was barred from assistance at Access Medical Centers because policy requires I put on a paper face diaper.I told the front office people I have a medical condition. I advised them Id visited the same center June 2022 and had no such requirement. I reminded them its 2023 and this fad is very much passé. I reasoned with them that I dont know where, when, or by whom that textile was manufactured, nor do I know of what it is composed nor whether nor how it might have been contaminated from manufacture until now. They said We dont care. I reminded them this is a CARE facility. They threatened to call the cops.May they go bankrupt soon.
My appointment was at 6:30 pm. I arrived 10 minutes early to complete paperwork and was taken back promptly at 6:30. I was there for a covid test and was swabbed and sent to a room to meet with the PA within 5 minutes. The PA arrived almost immediately and asked about my symptoms and told me I would have the results by close which is 8 pm. I received a call at 7:20 pm with my results. My entire visit was only 15 minutes! What a professional and pleasant group. I highly recommend this facility.
Very quick and efficient facility. The Nurse Practitioner was extremely nice and loving to our daughter. Our daughter was scared and apprehensive of receiving care and the NP took the time to check daddy first on each procedure so she wasnt so terrified. We greatly appreciated the patience she had with our girl.
Staff was wonderful. Was in & out pretty quick. Doctor took time to answer my questions. Reason for 4/5 stars: walls and floors were very dirty. A facility with sick people going in & out should be thoroughly cleaned regularly.
This urgent care is like my ex never wants too pick up the phone and I know they see me calling
I always get treated really well, they take care of everything efficiently. I would go there over and over again...... Had to use them again mid September 2022. Same result you look like something we dont understand. Were scared of you. Then they bring this one guy, amazing!! Thorough, good communication skills and actually concerned for my well-being... A+
Getting service by a medical organization is challenging, especially during these times. I appreciate getting the same-day Covid test but going somewhere I have never been being hard, especially when you are sick and very vulnerable. I understand that the staff might indeed be affected as I know how it feels to be so needed all the time. But I also think that friendly service and excellent bedside manner should be required for all staff members specializing in this field.
The experience was great, I am suffering from hearing loss so check in was difficult having to deal with the masks and glass dividers once past that the attendant that took my vitals was very pleasant and efficient. The doctor was great! He made me feel like he was concerned about my health and not just dealing with the next person on his list working his way to 5 oclock!! I like my doctor (Abel Lau) I am comfortable with him, but 4 anyone needing a PCD you should check the availability of Christopher Hunter MD. The ability to fill out the necessary paperwork online alert them of your arrival and check your place on waiting list on my phone was perfect.
I went to this urgent care location because I had symptoms of strep throat. It was easy to make an appointment online and I was able to enter my insurance info so that I had no paperwork to do when I arrived. The waiting room was clean and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. The nurse practitioner who evaluated me was knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
I was in and out quickly. People complain about wait times but you have the option to fill your information out on your phone and not wait for the front desk assistants.
Staff was great. Building needs a deep cleaning. The baseboards are filthy and there was a dead roach in my exam room.
I was struggling to hear but then I was able to make a same day appointment at Access. The nurse cleaned out wax in my ear that was near my eardrum and now I can hear after several months of not being able to. She was careful so it was not painful as she cleaned it out.
I work over nights so I had dozed off and overslept and was running about 10 minutes past my book ahead appointment. When I walked in I was greeted immediately friendly and with smiles. After explaining the urgency of me having to use the restroom they immediately got me back and was very considerate. I like the fact that you can call ahead. I am definitely going to go back for any urgent needs.
I had recently changed purses and did not have my health card. I needed it since Id never been here for myself. Rather than make me go back home, they accessed my insurance through my son. Then the nurse was super friendly and explained to me how long tests were going to take. The doctor came in and gave me results from the first test and told me how much longer we had to wait for 2nd test. The staff was extremely helpful and I was in and out of there rather quickly!
They where fast and helped me alot
The Medical center was very uplifting and answered most of my concerns. Dr. Hunter was very down to earth with much knowledge. The ladies up front where very cheerful, kind and passionate at what they were doing.
Clean clinicGreat customer serviceAmazing service from the minute we walked in until the minute we walked outThe Dr helped me with respect and answered my questions and I highly recommend this urgent care for everyone.I can’t thank all the team enough for the help and kindness my children and I received today.
Awful awful experienceIf you dont mind waiting over an hour for swab tests with a child running a 102 fever, than this is the place for you!Ill never return 🙅🏼♂️
They were very helpful and attentive to my needs. I loved how the Access medical staff actually took the time to hear my concerns then provided a solution for each concern. This is my 4th time coming to the 21st and Garnett location and theyve been excellent each visit. Thank you for all the hard work you put into caring for the Tulsa community.
I had a great experience at this place. I checked in online and when I got there, they called me to the back within 5 min. The doctor was friendly and took care of issue that I was being seen for. I was completely done in less than an hour.
The receptionists were very busy, but they were still very nice and easy to deal with. At a time when the medical field is facing horrible hardships, we need to remain understanding to them as well as they do to us. This medical center was amazing and very helpful. Thanks PUNKINS!
Saw the same provider twice and I had continuity of care. The problem wasnt resolved after the first visit. However, I got two COVID tests and an X ray with about 4 prescriptions and I only paid $161 and will pay $39/ month hereafter. So far so good. Havent paid anything else for the last two visits...
Ive had to see them 3 times in 2 weeks. Every time the providers are thorough. Not one time did I feel rushed. I appreciate the Access team of providers. Thank you. Thank you! UPDATE! April 20th Nurse Ashley gave me a shot and I didnt feel a thing! Im impressed! Thats not an easy thing to do. Just saying. Thank you SO MUCH! I appreciate the P.A. that prescribed it. Poison ivy is bad, mmmkay? Lol
The staff showed care for me from the registration to the treatment. Everyone was kind and efficient. I am glad that I came here today to get my wound treated.
The staff was friendly and professional. I was able to make an appointment 1-1&1/2 hours prior and seen right on time. They got me in and out quickly and gave me all necessary information.
I’ve always had god experiences at Access. The staff is caring, attentive and efficient. PA Deborah Holder took really good care of me today and took the time to make sure I knew how to take care of myself, and her nurse gave excellent shots too, didn’t feel a thing!
Horrible all-around! I booked an online appointment for 4:15 for an infected brown recluse spider bite. As soon as you walk in the door you have to pay $190 before sitting down. I had to wait an hour after arrival to see a doctor. Dr. looks at me for 25 seconds and pushes a tetanus shot?? I refused. He then gets me an antibiotic prescription, then he comes back and pushes for an antibiotic shot as well. I declined the jab! So they say wait 30 minutes before your prescription is ready at the pharmacy across the street. 3 hours later they never sent the prescription to the pharmacy. I had to go back and get a paper prescription and hand deliver it to the pharmacy.
This particular location of Aspen Dental at 71st and Memorial was an excellent office. The team with the dentist the office manager the support personnel were all amazing. Im not a fan of dentists and Ive had some bad experiences but this particular office put my fears to rest. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a dentist. They worked with my insurance, they worked with my fear, they worked with my schedule and they worked with the dental needs that I have. Put your mind at ease and call this office. You wont be disappointed.
The receptionist was very rude, just seemed like she was doing as little work as possible in order to talk to me and we couldnt hear each other, but shed laugh or mock me when I repeated wrong info. The building is also very old, dirty, small, and looks like its been there since the 60s. I didnt mind but after the service alone I walked out, I didnt want to wait and sit in a room for an hour and a half with continued communication like that.. it mustve took me less than a minute to get such bad customer service that I walked out and drove somewhere else
From the front window with the girl helping out, to the nurse going through her procedures that couldnt have been better. Then when the doctor entered he was very personal and persuasive and entertaining in my opinion.
I went here for swimmers ear — I wasn’t going to be seen at first because my insurance isn’t the best, but I was told by the lady at the front desk that it would be a $10 copayment, so I figured why not.The service was decent - long wait in the room, VERY dirty inside, not even sure how they’re open with how dirty it is - you can see other reviews for how dirty it is.Anyway — I was seen, and the lady at the front desk told me she’d bill the $10 copayment to my insurance instead.I got a bill from my insurance saying they billed them $140 for the visit. That’s ridiculous.I call them after finding this out, and I get someone on the phone and she is rude the entire call, constantly talking over me, then as I’m asking for a supervisor I’m hung up on.I will not be going back here — Do NOT go here.
Personnel, nurses, and doctors show kindness and interest towards patients. Excellent service!😍
I was having multiple medical issues back-to-back...first issue was a bloody and painful ear.. then a balance problem that resulted in a slip and wrenching my back in the shower. Next day, pinched a nerve in lower back getting dressed. This is when I decided that a visit to urgent care had to be endured.Overall, very efficient but a little hard of hearing.Wrenched upper back and pinched nerve in hip areaThey took an xray of upper(?) But refused to take one of hip area??? I tried to ask the tech and she refused to listenI am not overly impressed by my care, but maybe others have had a better experience.
Aside from the person I had first contact with that took my vitals it was a great experience. The woman I spoke to initially chastised me for not coming in when my flu was full blown and I couldnt function. She told me about how many people including children they saw last week. Those people and children probably had someone to load them in the car and bring them. Anyway.. I was pleased with the help I finally received.
Good experience! The staff are friendly and professional. The receptionist is extra sweet and offered a ride for mom to get her prescription medication because she was waiting for her uber.
Been going here since I moved from Chi and I must say they definitely get you in and out. All while making sure they are treating you for whatever situation that brought you in.
Front desk ladies are always friendly and welcoming. Check in time depends on the amount of people because they’re walk in, but overall the staff is great!
This is the 2nd time that my kid gets seen by Dr. Christopher Hunter, and let me tell he goes above and beyond to help his sick patients, really nice Doctor always prescribes whats needed for my child.
Took longer than I expected but they are very thorough. My PA discussed at length my symptoms and wrote prescriptions to treat my lung infection. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.
The dr. Was very knowledgeable and prescribed a cream
Delightful staff with a great senses of humor. Xut my finger with scissors and had to get three stitches and a tetanus shot. They got me right. 100% would recommend. The medical center, not cutting yourself with scissors.
I’ve been using this urgent care for 15 years. It has changed names and administration several times, but I still choose it over any other urgent care in Tulsa and BA. They have advanced imaging and lab resources. While others have to send out to other labs for bloodwork, they have more capabilities to test for things that other urgent cares do not. I never wait more than 20 minutes, and it saves me having to pay an ER copay.
Would not recommend at all. We got there at about 5:20 and they closed at 6pm that day. They were quick to get us in but also quick to get us out without even evaluating my daughter. They basically just referred her to emergency. I took her to the place on61st and Yale which was much better and we found out she has the flu.
The doctor was amazing 👏 the nurse wasnt she act like she dont Want to do her job. Pushing my hands where I was hurting and at like she didnt want to touch me. The doctor was amazing 👏 he made me feel like he really care.
The physician he was very nice n helpful n the other staff that helped me were nice. There was alot of ppl but I didnt have 2 wait too long and I had also booked my appointment online this is somewhere I would come again if n when I needed to
Every time we have gone to this clinic we have been given an incorrect diagnosis. My last visit was over what later turned out to be shingles. They called it a rash and sent me home with meds that made it worse.Me boyfriend last went just to get a referral for a sleep study because he stops breathing in his sleep. We made an appointment, showed up 10 minutes early with no need to fill out paperwork, waited in the lobby for another 30 minutes (which we expected), then got called back and waited another hour and a half, AN HOUR AND A HALF, before the doctor came in, took a quick look at his throat and sent us on our way with the referral. AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR A LESS THAN 5 MINUTE APPOINTMENT.I know things are stressful right now, but dont pull people back if youre not ready to see them!! Let people with appointments know that youre running behind!! SOMETHING!At the hour and a half mark, I poked my head out of the room and became THAT client because I honestly had no idea if they remembered putting us in the room. They staff didnt even know his last name when I asked...
Not a spanking new clinic but staff was friendly and good service. Theyve always been good and Ive been there several times.
Dirty facility with a lack of patient care.Went in for a broken finger with a slightly displaced bone that may need surgery. A week of phone calls and the referral to the ortho doc still hasnt been sent. This is completely unacceptable. Now I have to take off work, again, retrieve the referral, get it faxed over, and hope to God its not too late should I need surgery. I wouldnt recommend going here unless it was literally the last place on earth, and even then would second guess their competence.Just to add a cherry to the top, apparently I had extremely high BP the day of my visit. Nothing was mentioned, no questions were asked. It wasnt even addressed. I saw the recommendation to see my pcp about it on my paperwork. They obviously do not have your best interest in mind.
My wife started coming here for kidney problems and told me about her experiences. I came out of curiosity and she was right! Everyone is so nice and professional! I recommend to everyone and they take Soonercare. Its nice because I cant always get in to see my PCP
Good service from the receptionist, terrible, the wait for the doctor, they left medicine for my children, I went to the pharmacy, they had not sent the prescription, I returned to the clinic, they sent me a prescription only for one until the next day, the other, and several times the same thing happens
I went in feeling very nervous and sick.. I left feeling cared about..and thats very rare from the other experiences Ive had at other places. The nurse was so polite, professional, and so concerned. Her humor and positivity, with a gentle touch, has cured my fear of needles past...Wonderful place!!!
Im so disappointed with this clinic! My husband went to get tested for covid over a week ago, he was told the results were taking between 2-5 days. Its been over a week and he hasnt gotten the results. He had to go to a different clinic (better one) to get tested again. We even called a few days later to check on the results and were told they were going to call us with the results but it never happened. Not going back to this place ever again. Thank God they arent the only health providers.
I was seen quickly. The staff was very nice. The Dr seemed knowledgeable with my arm and the problem that I was having.
Excellent care. Needed to get a test for COVID19 before I could return to work. Very surprised the clinic at 31st & Garnett in Tulsa was open on New Years Day - but they were there and were very nice & thorough in not only giving me printed results but also recommended care for my flu symptoms.
Registering online and scheduling an appointment could not be easier. The staff was great, and I was very impressed with their professionalism and the courtesy they showed the clients. PAC Al Gartzke was very thorough and kind.
Went in on a Monday evening and total time took about an hour. Painless and quick. I liked how the paperwork required to fill out, was online with your cell phone.
Only reason it’s a 4 is because the place was freezing cold.and it was quite a long wait. The staff was excellent. The doctor helped me as much as possible.
I have been to this location several times. My information is all exactly the same yet today when I tried to get in, first thing in the morning, the front desk lady would not help me to check in. She wanted me to check in through the website filling out everything as a new patient registration. What happened to customer service and patient care? I go there because its quick and easy. Not anymore. None of my family will go there again. God forbid you dont have a fancy phone or internet.
Very easy, hardly any wait (less than 5 minutes), and the doctor was prompt to the room. Nice man, very down to earth, and thorough. Thank you so much.
I was frustrated that no one would answer the phone when I was trying to find out if they could get me in. I was livid when I got there and some guy was in the lobby at the window waiting on his COVID test results, and he had no mask on, and the receptionist said nothing to him. I let the nurse know I wasn’t at all happy about that. But the nurse and the doctor were awesome.
Amazing service, everybody is very friendly and truly interested in understanding all the concerns, and specially listening! My dad, like most older people wanted to tell the doctor all the details about what he felt, and she listened, asked questions, again, truly interested. I would highly recommend this urgent care to anybody.
They are great! It’s a little wait but they’re very nice and make sure you understand everything!
I came in on July 31 in alot of pain from a fall. They did quick xrays that I didnt feel confident about and said no break, just a bruise and in a couple days start stretching. I called and asked them to double check. Nope no break. They sent me with a sling and charged me anyways even though the sizing was incorrect. 4 days later I push through the pain and attempt stretching. I call my primary doctor who orders xrays at st francis with people trained at doing xrays and found out I have a break in the coronoid process of my ulna... I am in a splint and waiting to see a orthopedic surgeon. So I went a week trying to stretch a broken elbow and now being billed 100s for a service that was not good? Never coming back.
I checked in for my appt to get a Covid test. Waited in my car until they were able to see me. Was called when I could go in for the test. Had the test. Met with a Dr who asked if I had any questions or concerns about the test or any symptoms. I was called with the test results promptly. It was a very positive experience and their procedures and staff were excellent. Thank you.
The Doctors, Nurses and Office staff are absolutely wonderful. I have had several inside and curbside visits, for both My Family and Myself and not once was there a loss of professionalism, care, understanding or efficiency. Everyone is very confident and knowledgeable. Access Medical is OUR Family Urgent care. I would recommend seeking medical attention from the 31st/ Garnett Tulsa and Owasso locations fully.
Very friendly and didnt have a long wait. They did a rapid COVID test for my 10 year old which I didnt expect they would do. I was very happy with the PA and the staff.
I check in online and they gave me an estimated time of 3 oclock and said to come 10 minutes early. I was in and out in an hour and everyone was very nice and helpful. The most enjoyable experience for seeing a doctor ive ever had. A quick and pain less shot of steriod and a 15 minute wait to make sure I didnt have any reaction to it, I was on my way. I took a year of pain and limited use of my arm because I hate going to doctors so bad. This pace was awesome and guaranteed I will not hesitate or wait so long to return if needed.
Was quick and seemed to be knowledgeable. Only thing that turned me off was finding a bedbug in my room... it was dead, but still 🤢 (thats why only 4 stars). All in all was an ok experience.
The staff are nice but wait time I wished was shorter.I came in for a nasal swab, got my temp checked & that took an hour:ive been waiting for the doc to come release me.It’s been over an hour now too. Faster in & out time would be great for this location. Gotta be patient bc of covid.
Awful service. Went there 3 times for problem with my hand. I was told I had ringworm, the first time I was prescribed a oral pill that was $500 without insurance and was told they could not change the prescription to anything more affordable. So I waited and tried some home remedies and still to no success tried going here again! The second time I was prescribed another medication for the same issue and it was only for 2 weeks. No improvement I went back again after the two weeks and sat in a examination room for 2 HOURS after being in a waiting room for 30 minutes already. I was seen by a doctor and after just a minute looking at my hand without any effort I was just the prescribed the same strong dose of medication for 2 months. The medication gave horrible side effects and caused major stomach pains. I have now seen an actual doctor for my issues and found out I was misdiagnosed THREE times by two different people at this clinic. So my ringworm got worse with every medication I was given here and now stuck with stomach pains. These people have no idea what theyre doing here and I am looking into a legal standpoint on this matter. No one should pay their hard earned money for these doctors to cause them more issues!
I made an appointment ahead of time and was seen really quick. My appointment was at 1120am. Checked in at 1058am and was brought back around 1110am. The staffs were friendly and attentive. They did their jobs very well.
Deserves less than this. Generally Urgent Cares are pretty bad but this one is TERRIBLE. Staff is lazy (including doctors) not friendly and have 0 patience with someone in pain. Doctors exam took about 2 minutes total and was entirely rushed. Did NOT get the treatment I needed, will never come back or recommend this facility to anyone. Plus there are insects back in the exam rooms.
Make an appointment for 3:30 doctor doesn’t see you for 2 hours. The whole time I’m waiting the nurses and doctor are joking about how to pronounce names and having a grand time while patients are waiting to be called. If you need care urgently this is not the place
They were very efficient and helpful, when going back after quartining 10 days, I had S.O.B. They did a chest exray and found out I had Covid double pneumonia! Immediately They called EMSA sent me to the ER! THEY are 👍group of caring professionals! I highly recommend them! Great job well done 👏
The call center is very rude! I got hung up on and then tried calling back sat there for twenty minutes waiting for somebody to pick up and they never did. So I go up to the 31st and Garnett one and they tell me its appointment only! Whats the point of being an urgent care??? So they turned me down and recommend I go somewhere else where I have to wait two hours in my car to get in! Ill be going elsewhere when my kids need to see a doctor!
Absolutely the worst place Ive ever been to. While waiting and starting paperwork my not even 2 year old daughter became 100% worse in seconds, went gray, and started vomiting profusely and literally spraying diarrhea all over their entrance and entrance bathroom. The receptionist said it would be a 30 minute wait before we could receive any help and was asked to call 911. While waiting for an ambulance, she continued non stop sick the entire time. And not one single staff member came out to check on her, a BABY. Not a nurse to make sure she made it okay until the ambulance arrived. Not even so much did someone offer a paper towel for me to clean up the vomit and diarrhea off the floor, toilet, and changing table. Which I did with my own baby wipes. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
Everyone here is very friendly and professional. Everytime I’ve been here they get my son or my self right in within a few minutes and we don’t usually wait very long before a Doctor comes in either!! They are ONIT and I would def recommend this place to a family member or friend especially over a regular Emergency room where you may wait hours and may not be treated very well!!!
I was unimpressed with whoever came in to treat my child! She never identified herself ! My little 4 yr old kept taking to her and was touching her and she kept saying , don’t touch me , over and over ! I thought as a health care professional she could of had a better repore with people ! Also I’m not convinced she even knows what’s wrong with my little girl! I’ve been there several times and never had this experience !
Access Medical was easy to get in to and had great service. I really appreciated Dr. Hunter. He was really nice and didnt seem to be in a rush which was nice.
The nurse was absolutely lovely. So was the doctor. But I had to go back and drive back to the urgent care to get my prescription from the doctor directly because I was on hold for over 47 minutes with their call center and they gave me no answers as to why walgreens hadn’t received my prescription
Place is suppose to open at 7:45 in the morning which is also the time of my appointment. I get here and the doors are locked and noone picking up the phone.
Just wonderful folks!
I like what the doctor said if I dont keep my blood pressure controlled it can look bad on my primary doctor that hes not giving me enough medication I know a lot of people doesnt think like that but it shine a lot of light because I have a very good doctor Dr cant make us take our medication when we close to thats an adult decision and sometimes it has its own consequence
Wonderful caring staff! Using their appointment feature online was so easy. This has been an urgent care facility since I was a child, its good to know its still staffed with amazing people who really care!
The doctor was very helpful and straightforward, and the team works really fast, for any small emergency I come here and its helpful.
They got me taken care of in a last minute appointment. The Doctor was very helpful and helped me understand how to care for my ailment.
Your answering system sucks!!!’ You don’t even answer!
Love Access Medical Centers. Treated me well on a couple of tests. Quick & efficient. The real crunch came when my friend injured her eye. They found us an opthamogist late at night. He prescribed an antibiotic late at night. We were instructed to medicate once an hour, all night! Saved her eyeball from going blind! So we are very grateful to Access Medical Centers!
They took good care of my daughter and I when our PCP couldn’t get us in. I appreciate the staff and doctors. They get you in and out while still listening to your issues.
I would never go to any other place besides Access Medical Center. I have gone here many times.. The staff here is friendly an knows what they are doing. They get you in, seen by a dr an out in a timely manner. There is never a long waiting period. The staff who work here are here for the people not just the paycheck they care about their patients. Thank you Access Medical Center for all you have done for me.
The building itself needs to be cleaned - its gross. But the care we received was top notch. From the front desk to the PA, everyone seemed to genuinely care, they were kind, patient, took their time.

I went in for a really bad acid reflux, they me within ten minutes and then the doctor saw me within minutes after the nurse took my weight and blood pressure. Their costumer service was on point, they were quick and efficient.

Dr. Hunter attended to my skinned knee. Three days later the healing has really stepped up. Everyone was so polite. Smooth sailing! Thank you soooo much!
I waited 2 hours just to be told I need to go to the hospital
Staff was attentive, caring, pleasant and efficient. Test results were delivered promptly. Hopefully you dont need urgent care, but if you do, the Access team at Garnett is great.
