Realized at 7pm both my daughter’s sports physicals had to be turned in by 8am the following morning. Access Medical saved this procrastinating mama’s day because they’re open until 8pm & accept walk-ins. We got there at 7:40 and I expected the receptionist to give me the stink eye for walking in 20 mins before they close with 2 kids needing physicals but she was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Nurse and doctor were great also. PLUS they charged less than any other place I called. Last minute, $20 physicals, in & out. I will definitely be going there for any future needs and will be recommending it others. Great place!
STAY AWAY!The incompetence, random closures, and not knowing the schedule of when their Doctors will be here more than one day out is absurd and ludicrous. They have been choosing random days to close, which is ridiculous. Something that should have taken me 2 visits has now taken me 6 visits! They dont even deserve 1 star. I will never be visiting this location.
I timed my visit well, so there was almost no wait. The front desk receptionist was capable and kind. The nurse practitioner that I saw was extremely helpful. If you need to be seen in person, I recommend going to Access Medical Center Urgent Care on Riverside.
NP did not wash her hands, no name tag that I could see, and didn’t introduce herself. I had to ask her if she was the nurse practitioner. Not impressed. However the persons who checked me in were fast, courteous, and polite. Environment was clean. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the provider
I needed to see a doctor unfortunately it was on a Sunday morning. However, I remember Access Medical on Riverside. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and was seen by the nurse for vitals within 5 minutes. The nurse was very friendly. Next I was taken to the exam room. The nurse practitioner came in and did a thorough exam and diagnosed me. Then I was out the door with discharge papers in hand and a prescription at my pharmacy. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this provider.
The healthcare was very good, however their billing had some problems. I gave them my Medicare supplement plan G info and they did not process it so properly so I received a bill. I paid it, which was a mistake. I found that it is all covered and they made a mistake with my number. When I tried to reach the Nextcare main billing number on the phone, I was disconnected 4 times after waiting on hold each time in excess of 15 min. i will dispute the charge once it hits my cc acct.
The staff was awesome. The doctor was very helpful. He seems too really want do whatever he could to help me. I’ve been to other urgent care places and I felt like they didn’t really care. Here you will be in good hands.
I came in to see what I had going on when I was checked in a room I noticed how dirty the room and bed was looking very run down the equipment they using on patients is not clean or sterile at all and they rush thru and get you out of there like they ain’t making sure the patient is ok a waste of money and time and hope the equipment use on me want get me more sicker because how dirty it was
The doctor had horrible bedside manner. I will never return to this location and I will be telling everyone I know not to use this office. Front desk lady and nurse were great.
Access Medical on Riverside is awesome! They got me in quickly and I was seen quickly. My FNP Angela was caring and listened to me. Both the receptionist and the nurse who took me back were very nice.
Everyone was super sweet and listened to how I was feeling. Very efficient and great communication. Definitely would recommend coming here.
The entire staff was great. Very quick and efficient especially with me being a walk-in. I saw PA, David Mansfield who was super thorough in his explanation of what I was being treated for and the reasoning behind it. He had great bedside care. My treatment plan that I went home with had even more direction of things I could do to help during my recovery. Thank you Access Medical for taking care of me.
Jordan was very helpful explaining their services and least expensive of 3 urgent cares in the Jenks area. They also have a temporary services plan for $39 a month for those without insurance. The PA and nurse were also very kind and thorough.
Excellent help. They got me in quickly. Receptionist was kind and helpful with insurance, registration, etc. Thank you.5/19/2024 - I cant say enough good about them. Needed to be seen this morning on a Sunday, and they were awesome as always. If there was any way possible they could become my primary care physician, Id switch in a heartbeat. Thank you.
I was sent to this facility for a physical, I called on Friday to set up the appt. for Sat at 10:30am I arrived just after 10am and the facility was closed and I wasn’t notified! I then called and set up an appt. at another facility at 12pm! I arrived and filled out the paperwork and was called back! I’m a bigger man and I know my body and I specifically requested that my bp be done with a manual cuff, they said that they were required to use the electronic cuff to which I replied that it will not give you an accurate reading! According to the reading I should be dead! After 4 tries they finally did as requested and did a manual reading which was much more accurate! My bp was slightly elevated but I’m sure that was because of my frustration with the electronic cuff and crazy readings!
Jessi and the doctor and the lady at the front check in were amazing and super patient with my toddler! They were sweet and had us in and out quickly! Definitely will be returning
This was the worst urgent care experience. They charged almost $500 to see an NP who didnt even know the basics of an ear infection. I had to go to another doctor when the antibiotics prescribed didnt help at all. The new doctor said they prescribed the wrong type for my ear infection. Luckily the new doctor was able to give me appropriate meds that worked.Go somewhere else.
Wonderful experience all around from Elissa, Dona and Jordan. They all went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and comfortable! Truly couldn’t ask for better service.
Great service. Quick and easy! I got in quickly and they nailed the diagnosis. I feel better within 24 hours!
Elissa, Dona and Jordan were very helpful and brought joy and laughter to a painful situation. Best care I’ve seen in a long time!
The staff was very professional and friendly they was fast getting me out I got the treatment I needed the place was clean smelled good and I was definitely satisfied way too go
Female doctor knows nothing about female anatomy. Ignores my girlfriends concerns, mis-diagnosis her, and dismisses everything she said. The whole time not even being considerate of her feelings during a very awkward exam. Will not be returning.
Super easy to schedule my appointment. Did have a bit of a wait but that is to be expected for the time day I was there. Staff was wonderful.
I was in and out really fast and they were sympathetic to my needs and also most importantly they remained professional.
They were so polite from check in, the nurse & the awesome PA! I like booking my appointment online and for checking in and waiting in my car. Nurse/Medical assistant was so nice! The physician assistant (Haleigh W) who saw me was very informative, helpful & I feel like she really took time to understand my illness and help me get going in a better direction to gain control of my health. I felt like everyone there genuinely cared. Thank you so much!!! Pamela
Very kind. When you go to a walk-in clinic, you expect long weights, but they kept me informed the whole way along the process.
I called today to see if they would be able to help me with pain management until my neurologist is able to get me in. They assured me this would be no issue and got me scheduled immediately. I came with all medical notes and disc of my MRI. Got checked in and paid at the front. A few minutes later I was called back to do my intake which was a little odd because the nurse asked me how to spell the procedure names for the last surgery I had and the medication I was on. Then I was moved to a second room where a nurse practitioner came in and told me there was nothing she could do because a doctor was needed to prescribe the medication and there wasn’t one working today. So if you want to waste your time and money I highly suggest giving them a visit.
Dr. Was a little rude. He was young, so maybeJust not used to people with kids or grand-kids in an emergent situation. Thankfully I just fractured my arm, my grand kids needed to dropped off to me there, I tried to get directions to my friend, I t was equally important, I was in PAIN. But he was rude about me needing to inform my out of town friend how to find me. He was rude about a couple of things. But they did my X-ray, got arm taken care of. No pain Med offered. But I got Advil when I got home.
Staff is friendly enough. Pretty run down on the inside and I didn’t notice any cleaning being done in between patients in the reception area. I had an appointment at 4:30, checked in at 4:20 and wasn’t seen until about 5:30. Total time spent was about 2 hours, which is definitely better than the ER.
They always help anytime I’ve gone and they’ve gotten me in and out. They have a sweet staff and great doctors. I personally use them as much as possible
Front desk lady was very nice and so was the nurse checking me in and the Physician on duty. Thorough and friendly.
Have consistently had excellent care and good experiences from front desk, medical assistant and provider.
Access medical is an excellent medical center for your urgent care needs. The medical staff is prompt, efficient, helpful and very friendly. Thanks for your great service. Im so glad you were there when I needed you.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The doctor did really well with my 2 year old son. The dr talked to him and made sure my son knew what he would be doing. My son felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location!
I got in quickly and everyone was very nice and efficient. Dr answered all my questions and I left feeling comfortable in knowing what’s going on with me. Highly recommend. You will get in faster if you make an appointment obviously lol
Clinic isn’t crowded. Staff is very nice and efficient. I always come to this clinic when I need quick non-emergent medical advice and I refer it to friends often. I walked in and was seen within 20 minutes with only one person ahead of me when I got there.
Ive had canker sores on and off since I was young and they suck, but are manageable with no medicine. However, I had a massive one on my uvula. It was extremely painful and was keeping me from eating and drinking, so I sought help from this clinic. Worst experience ever. The doctor first told me it was a form of herpes, which is wrong. Then proceeded to tell me that asking for a form of pain management for something so small was not going to happen and treated me like a junkie looking for pills. Never mind Ive been prescribed a weeks worth of pain pills once in my life. I left with a big bill, wrong information, and no treatment. Avoid this place.
Accidentally scheduled here instead of where we usually go; didn’t know till we’d gone to the wrong place so we were going to be late. I called to see if needed to cancel. The lady was kind and assured me there was currently no wait; got right in. Everyone was friendly; doctor was thorough but quick and we walked out the door with prescription called to our pharmacy in minutes. THANK YOU!!!
I had a 10:00 am appointment and there was NO ONE THERE !!! Ended up going to Jenks !!!
The PA was very nice & knew his stuff. Believe me, not all of them do! The lady who checked me in was super nice and told me about a discount insurance that I could get right there to help with the cost since I had no insurance. It worked out great! I have my meds & should be feeling better soon.
Receptionist and nurse were very friendly, however the doctor I had was professional but lacked compassion. My visit seemed very rushed considering it was very quiet and only one other patient in lobby. As soon as the doctor addressed his part, he was ready to leave the room before I could finish or ask for a doctors note.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The nurse practitioner helped me feel calm and reassured during my appointment. I was in and out quickly, and the clinic sent the prescription directly to my pharmacy of choice. Thank you for your kindness!
I had a very successful visit. From the secretary who greeted me and got my paperwork done efficiently to the visit with th PA Katy, who examined me and gave me a couple presciptions and answered all my questions after the exam. Excellent care. I would recommend this to anyone who needs medical care. Thank you, I have the meds and feel I am on my way to recovery. Thank you for your patience with me. You have relieved my concerns.
Access Medical on Riverside is the best! I scheduled my appointment online at 4:45pm for 6:00pm to have a procedure done the same night and was able to get an appointment! The staff were super friendly and accommodating and my assistant Doniesha was amazing! Thanks Access!
From checking in, to being brought back to the rooms, to the doctor seeing me, everyone was extremely courteous, kind, and thorough. The doctor saw to me quickly and saw to my needs. She was extremely great at her care providing with a very pleasant disposition. When I was leaving and had to pick up some paperwork, the lady that handed me the paperwork with a smile, kindness in her eyes, and wished me a great rest of my day.
Everyone is so nice, i went to the er but they were nice and they have a lot of pens at the front. i know that doesn’t matter really but most places don’t have pens so that’s cool
We had the best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care! We didn’t wait long at all, our test results came back quickly, and we were treated very well. Megan was amazing and so helpful. She took her time to explain everything to me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. The rest of the staff was kind and compassionate. I am so happy we went there and will definitely go back.
I just wanted to commend the attitude of the staff. It was busy and the wait was long, and a couple people were downright rude to the front desk girl. It was shameful. Yet all staff were still patient, helpful, and smiling. I received what I felt like was quality care.
Both PAs we have seen at this location have been amazing. They go above and beyond to help their patients. Nurses have been wonderful as well, friendly and easy to talk to. But… be aware of the front desk receptionist. Very rude, unhelpful, and lied about my arrival time in attempt to reschedule my appointment (which I made at 4am the day before to ensure a time slot). Unfortunate when one person tries to ruin a great place, because I have great reviews despite her. Maybe she was having a really off day…
It was very well organized. Ryan was so awesome he did a great job, very quick and efficient!! He was polite and made sure we didn’t have any questions before he left. The medical Assistant was great as well I don’t remember her name. The front check in lady was sweet and quick.
I almost don’t want to say how great this place is for urgent care because then there will be more people and yes the doctors I have seen, especially the last one are very attentive with genuine care. The nurses have all been friendly. I have never had to wait very long. But I’ve been enjoying this location and their Peoria location as like a secret place, its never been very crowded which has always made it so fast! Ha ! But I see the words getting out already so I give my honest review. One of the best urgent cares I’ve been too (along with the Peoria location)
This is my second time coming here and the first time I was the sickest I’ve ever been with COVID. Not only was my first experience phenomenal but it wasn’t any different today. This is the most welcoming, warm, friendly staff I’ve ever met. Carson at the front talks to you like she’s known you forever which makes you so comfortable no matter how sick you are! Brittany is the exact same way, super sweet and they both remembered me what other urgent care has such kind people working for them. I’ve never liked being in a doctors office or medical setting but they make it so much easier and I would (and have) recommended this place to everyone! They both deserve for the world to know how amazing they are!
At 5:15pm I was their only client. I think the online check in is streamlines the process. As soon as I submitted it, the front desk attendant called me up and gave me more paperwork. I paid and then the nurse came out and got me in like 3 minutes. I got my tb skin test and was out. Start to finish it was 30 minutes. I was driving away at 5:44pm. Best Dr office visit ever
The staff from the front desk, the intake nurse and doctor were amazing. I came in today feeling horrible and the doctor patiently listened to everything I said. I just had a surgery a month ago and dealing with complications from that, that my own surgeon was unable to help me with. I will always choose this location for urgent care. Also they were very fast and my medicine was ready by the time I reached my pharmacy. Best urgent care I’ve ever been to in my life.
Excellent service, each person I encounter here was extremely caring, From the front desk lady to the nurse practitioner, they all are compassionate and professional. I couldn’t understand the website to get the appointment, they were patient and went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. Got me in and out fast. In spite of feeling so sick, I can still say it was a wonderful experience to see so many people caring for you.
Great experience. Walked in with no appointment and was seen almost immediately. Unfortunately, the test was positive but everyone was extremely nice and helpful throughout the process.
The Doctors and Nurses at this location are my favorite people. Ive been going there for years. I love the fact I can get in and out with or without an appointment. Most importantly they are always so nice and friendly. They diagnose whats wrong and get me back on the road to recovery quickly. I highly recommend them to my friends, family and anyone looking for their services.
Rachel was my provider and was very helpful. She listened and provided solutions, understanding my need for relief. Ginger at the front desk was also helpful and pleasant. I was in and out very quickly. This is my go-to for my urgent Healthcare needs. I recommend!
Easy to make appointment, check in and out. Doctor was nice and had me in and outta there in no time. The nurse and the girls up front were all very nice and friendly…
Easy registration process and efficient, high-quality patient care.
Fast, efficient and kind service. I wasn’t planning to take my son here but the other office that we tried was closed due to a staffing shortage. It all worked out though and we will be back for my other kids appointments.
The morning crew is stellar. They got me in no issues. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the receptionist in the afternoon practically refused to see me because she could not figure out where to send my insurance claim to. I showed her there is a number on the back of the card for providers to call to get the billing information and I was met with the reply of “oh I don’t do that” so I ended up leaving because she didn’t know what to do with my insurance. However, I returned the next morning and the morning receptionist was excellent she did not need any additional information and I was seen shortly after check in.
The Nurse I saw was very kind and thorough. She got me through the check in process quickly and took great notes for the Dr. The PA that came in to assess and give me my examination was extremely personable and caring towards my concerns. After tests and exam was completed I was given prescriptions and a complete explanation of my treatment. Thank you for such professional service.
Such great and friendly staff. They are extremely thorough and make you feel at home and comfortable. Terry at the front is an absolute joy and my Doctor, Ashley, was incredible along with the other nursing staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is in need of care.Great job, guys!-Whitney
My first visit, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Had to go back again today. This Place has the nicest health care personnel. I appreciated every one of them, Im on the mend because of them. Thank you so much.
Very friendly, helpful staff. I was impressed by their professionalism, but also their kindness and personal connection. They really went above and beyond to help. Dr. Hunter took a great amount of time, not only to discuss the current issue, but also inquired and offered information about a previous condition mentioned in the health history. I appreciated not only his commitment to today’s visit, but his obvious concern about his patient’s overall well-being.
The nurse who performed my Covid test was good!!! I can remember taking the test in Tx and it caused me to gag. The Doctor was very polite, she had a great bedside manner. Yes I would come back here again. My first visit here and it was extremely pleasant under the circumstances.
They were very nice understanding and professional and patient. I recommend these guys to anyone donna was very helpful
Every time Ive come here they have always been super nice and friendly and helpful. Everyone in the staff from the front desk, to medical assistants, to nurses and doctors have been courteous and made the experience a pleasant one, especially when rarely does one go to the doctor feeling well. Ive never felt rushed and being a MA/Med student, Ive never felt they take shortcuts or are dismissive to anyone Ive encountered while here. Ive been coming here for years at this point and I trust my kids here too. Theres rarely a long wait and I think they take Soonercare for those that are curious with kiddos.
Super helpful and quick to get me in and seen by their Provider. Staff was professional and courteous not only to me but also everyone else I saw.
We’ve been going here for many years. The staff are always kind, and helpful. It is always clean. Everything moves efficiently and quickly. We love Ryan N. Definite favorite, my kids are always disappointed when it’s not him. Today was the first time seeing Dr Hunter. He was wonderful but sorry, Dr Hunter, although you are awesome, you can only be the 2nd fav. 😜 To make sure that this is a totally honest review I will say there has only been one time that I ever left dissatisfied but I’ve never seen that provider again. That’s pretty good stats.
Great service and all medical service . The EMT medical staff , nurses, and PA’s Britney were extremely helpful. And thank you Britney Welch -PAC for everything . She was extremely knowledgeable and more than some doctors I have met. She made me feel calm. She makes the worst times of co-vid seem so simple and positive. I’m thankful for your facility.I went here again and the PA Kevin Green was excellent and very knowledgeable. All staff were great and caring . I didn’t have a long wait and they are efficient! I highly recommend you come here!
Great and caring staff. Very patient and will to answer all questions. Discussions were kept professional and kind, not rushed. Physicians and staff made me feel welcome and wanted, which isnt common for a lot of Ugent Care facilities. Thank you for all that this team does!
The experience I had was probably the best experience I have had at an urgent care. The PA and nurse were kind and considerate along with knowledgeable. They addressed and treated my problem efficiently and effectively. I would highly recommend and will also make this the only urgent care I would go to going forward.
Access was a great experience! I was able to schedule an appointment the day before and was seen pretty close to the scheduled time. Upon arrival, and once in the exam room, the facility was clean and welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful! Would go again if needed.
The medical staff here were fast friendly and amazingly knowledgeable of my condition. Ryan, PA, Holli LPN, Stephanie, LPN and Susane at the front desk all took amazing care of me and were so compassionate to my needs. When I went back Stephanie was so friendly while checking my vitals. And although our conversation was rather short it was pleasant to say the least.
Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and professional!
Last minute visit and they were full but the receptionist squeezed me in. So grateful for that. Everybody was friendly, professional & timely (I wouldn’t have cared if I waited a long time time for them to see me, if they are seeing me. Some people need to mature). Listened to the problem well and I was ready to explain it quickly and concisely too which helps. Have your thoughts together before you go into a busy Drs office. They offered multiple solutions and help. Will come back if I need to.
The wait was over an hour and the sent a text allowing me to see where I was in line. It showed 2 scheduled appointments and 4 walk ins waiting. The next time I check it showed only 3 walk ins waiting. I went to the desk and ask if they were rooming walk ins before scheduled appointments and she said we aren’t taking any walk ins. No explanation about why their own app showed they were. Besides that I received good care.
The staff was very welcoming, caring, and it was an overall not too terrible experience - Urgent Care are almost always a rough time. Everyone was doing their job. They are good people!
Had a great experience here today. I arrived right when they opened. The staff were so helpful, even late on a Friday night right before closing. The doctor had an excellent bedside manner - he explained things really well and made my son feel comfortable.
Friendly staff, very much UNLIKE the Access Urgent Care on Peoria where the staff is not at all.First visit to this location and I was very pleased.Clean, timely, and a great first impression...
The worst service Ive ever experienced, the doctor was extremely rude and belittling and gaslit me the entire visit, Heard them making comments about my weight in the hall while I was in a room. Came in for an injury and they wouldnt allow my partner to come help me get ready for an xray as I was having a very hard time doing it myself. The nurse and doctor where very rough with my injury and where not forgiving when I needed to take my time to move. Ive never left a doctors office crying or felt so humiliated and dehumanizing in my entire life. I sincerely hope you can put your nurses and doctors through training on how to properly treat patients. I am supposed to return for a follow up but I genuinely dont feel safe going back.
Courtney F, NP was fantastic she asked me several questions and got me on the right track to feeling better. I highly recommend her. The front desk staff and medical tech were good too!
Took my son to get stitches. They treated him quickly (made appt online on the way). They even included a free follow-up appt to take them out.
I used to love coming here because they were quick and everyone was really nice. But my last two visits have been a nightmare. I contracted Cdiff for the second time (which is VERY serious and can be deadly) and the PA sent me home with antibiotics that I had a bad reaction to. It has now been four days and they still have not prescribed me a different antibiotic. They’re awaiting test results (That I have personally confirmed are done and had the lab fax to them) and the only response I get is “We will call you when results come in.” when I know very well they have the results sitting on their fax machine. The PA is nice, the front desk ladies were nice, but trying to get anything done urgently is not going to happen so you may as well go to a PCP or ER. Very unorganized in the way that they delayed my labs by sending them all on one order, instead of separately to get results back faster, and extremely out of touch when you have to call a call center that doesn’t know the situation. Honestly, the call center may be the worst part about them, regardless of whether they’re nice or not. Everyone knows how serious and contagious Cdiff is, why they treat it any different beats me.
If want to experience incompetent nurses and discriminatory medical practices this urgent care is for you. If you like to have your time wasted, great you will wait over an hour to have nurses that are lazy and lack training. It desire sub-par treatment schedule an appointment today. Seriously, if Mia is your nurse just walk out the door. She doesnt feel comfortable with doing the essential parts of her job and the head nurse rather rant then actually help the patients.I had high hopes for this urgent care. The one star is because the facility was clean, the receptionist staff was friendly and there was a bowl of suckers near the exit. In the end, atleast my child got candy, it was fitting, for the circus of excuses we experienced. When they hire competent nurse and undergo cultural training someone please let me know.
The whole staff was filling in for someone there. And even with a new system they were amazing! Very friendly! I hate Drs offices with a passion this was super easy and quick! I made in appt online, did the paperwork online, checked in online, and got right in!
The Medical Staff are wonderful and caring. I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seen. The Doctors are attentive and explain everything in understandable terms. I would recommend Access Medical Center on Riverside Parkway if you want to feel listened to and cared about!
Both Dr’s were extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I had a head wound and the Dr that stapled me up was so careful and compassionate. The Dr that took them out was very careful and talked me through the process. I was very impressed and will continue to go to this clean and professional clinic!!
Whenever I have urgent care needs this is the first place I go. They have always shown great care and expertise, and have been more than willing to answer all my anxious questions and talk through everything. Definitely a good inexperience in troubling circumstances.
Scripts were sent to the wrong pharmacy after verifying pharmacy and location twice. I asked them to change the pharmacy and even gave them the physical address before I left the urgent care office. When I went to pick up meds they were not there. They were filled at the incorrect pharmacy that they said they would fix hours earlier.
I would absolutely recommend this location. This was my second visit due to a mild concussion and I had come to get an x-ray. They spoke to me like my sister would; sincerely let me know that they didnt want it to give me a false sense of security and recommended getting a CT scan. It was the first time I didnt have to pay for a visit; before they checked me in they informed me that unless i had a bone shatter/fracture, the x-ray wouldnt tell me much. Thank you for the genuine care I received. I will be going on Monday to Tulsa ER. Take care everyone!
I’ve been seen at Access Medical twice & have been highly satisfied both times. The staff are courteous, the appointment times & waiting have been reasonable, & I’ve left feeling like my questions or issue have been addressed well. When I’m unable to get into my PCP this is my next choice.
I waited 2 hours at one clinic then left. Elisia at the workmans comp department helped me find another clinic
Driving through from Louisiana and felt like my BP was high. I popped into Urgent Care Access Medical and asked could they just do a quick BP check for me. I was in and out within 5 minutes. The staff was super friendly and helped ease my mind. Thank you so much.
Went there today for a cough/congestion I’ve had for a month. The nurse practitioner was very friendly and addressed my needs quickly. The wait time was short and the outcome was great. I would definitely recommend this urgent care.
I would like to compliment the staff that tended to my needs when I came in for an eye injury. The nursing (Alex) was extreme proficient and friendly at her job. The Dr. that saw me was also very proficient and friendly. Could not have asked for anything better. The nurse really had a excellent sense of humor, the kind that would get your mind off your problems.
From check in to check out I was very well taken care of. Ginger and Vanessa were great. I saw Courtney Froehlich and she was amazing!!! I felt so comfortable and like she really listened to me!
They were very busy and the lobby was full. I expected for them to be in a rush to get patients in and out but Nathaniel took his time and was very friendly. You can tell Nathaniel really loves his job and truly cares about his patients and giving them the best care possible!
I am continually impressed with the care my family receives at Access Medical Urgent Care. I had to go in last night and was greeted pleasantly and Dr. Hunter took great care of me. He has a great bedside manner and always explains things in easy terms to understand.
I have recently moved to Tulsa so I do not have a physician locally at this time. Went to Access, got in after about 20 minutes. Terry at the front desk great. Ashley a hoot. My PA smart and quick. Entire experience very, very good and I do recommend them highly!
Very friendly staff. Short wait time. Basically power washed my ear putting a hole in my eardrum.
The front desk was welcoming and kind, the nurse was fast and so funny, and the doctor was so professional and also so quick! It took me 27 minutes to get in and out, I will be coming here again as needed.
I went to ERgent Care after an accident in July. They were extremely helpful, very professional, and I was seen immediately. The doctor could not have been more kind, she sent a disc of my x-rays with me to give to a surgeon, and the office personnel were very helpful in working with us so that the cost was very affordable! I have only that one experience with this clinic, but I was definitely impressed with everyone we encountered. I would highly recommend this clinic!
We were on vacation and my daughter developed a high fever and other symptoms. I was able to schedule an appointment, which was super convenient. I wish I would have gotten the names of the medical staff that treated my daughter, because not only were they intelligent and knowledgeable, but they were so good with my three-year old. If Im ever in this area again and need urgent care, this is definitely the place I will look up.
I arrived a little early and they got me right in, I had minimal wait after I got in a room. I was seen and was through in short order. It was a great visit!
Excellent care. Rather long wait considering I had an appointment. But still a great choice for urgent care.
THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. NEVER GOING BACK.Went to this urgent care with an ear infection. Receptionist took my info and I waited about 20 minutes until the nurse brought be to the back. Bear in mind, that my ear was killing me and loud and high pitch noises felt like an ice pick in the ear. I told the nurse that my ear really hurt and asked her politely to lower her voice. She proceeded to not accommodate my request and then slam the door on her way out of the room. I think that a Healthcare worker who doesnt have compassion should find a different line of work....The PA was friendly, but was unable to provide any kind of pain relief. We only have [ NSAIDS ] at this facility. Wow. A doctors office that doesnt have anything more than NSAIDS. What a joke.
I had a great experience there - needed a COVID test (thankfully negative) and felt so well taken care of, especially by the PA, Ryan - he answered all my questions and gave me good suggestions for boosting my immune system. I gave four stars, though, because I was very surprised that they had me come inside to check in when I could have had Covid, rather than having me stay in the car until my appointment. That would make me nervous about going there for a non-Covid complaint. Hopefully they’ll change that policy!
The clinic was clean, the staff were wonderfully friendly and caring. The Doctor was great, along with the nurse. Will come here again!
The staff was amazing and very sweet. They could not see me the same day because of covid and everyone being sick and I guess limited appointments But the people in the office were extremely helpful and got me in the next day. There was not a long wait to see the dr.
I dropped by Access Medical Center because it was on my way home and I needed to see a Doctor. I will use them again. I was greeted with a smiling face and beautiful facility. My wait was very short, the care was professional and compassionate.. Highly recommend.
Went in before noon on a Thursday with a ear ache. I was told due to covid they are seeing patients every 15 mins and the next available time they can see me is Friday morning. I responded, even though I can “schedule” an appt the same day at 4:00 on your website? She didn’t know how to response. Unacceptable. I would have gladly waited but was told I could come back tomorrow morning.
I’m not gonna lie, the first time I went here I had a bad experience with one of their nurses who gave me a shot in the wrong place and hit my sciatic nerve. However, despite my bad experience with the one nurse (he no longer works there), I decided to give them another go because the doctor (PA) was kind and really did as much as he could to help me.Now I’ve been back several times and I pretty much prefer Access Medical Center over my own regular doctor for when I need medical attention quickly for illness. Each PA/Doctor has really helped and took all my symptoms under consideration. Their nurses have also been great with the exception of the first.I will continue to go back!
Staff was organized, efficient, kind, and productive. I hadn’t been there before but having pre-scheduled online and submitting some of my information, I was in and out quickly for a workplace required Covid test. I’ll definitely consider returning if I’m in need of additional care in the future.
Dr. Donna is a terrible physician there. Clueless and not willing to really help someone. Just refers them on to another office that doesnt have openings for months. I wont ever be coming back. Complete waste of time and money.
Horrible, horrible service. Had an appointment at 11 oclock and arrived early at 10:42. I did not even get to speak to a receptionist to check in until after 11:30 (30 minutes after my appointment time). All while, getting automated text messages that my appointment would be cancelled since I had not yet checked in for my appointment. The receptionist took over 10 minutes to check in each person, I will not be returning. All the while in the middle of the pandemic, and they had no measures in place to call to check in, not wait in the lobby, etc. Just a free for all of people standing in line waiting to get checked in. What is the point in making an appointment if they just put walk ins ahead of you!?
I dont usually go to the Riverside location, but today I did and LOVED the staff I encountered! The doctor especially made me feel comfortable. I didnt feel rushed through a cattle call. :-)
Quick, efficient and amazing service!! The nurse is the absolute best, I have had her many times and she is professional and knowledgeable. Doctor was very kind, listened to all my concerns and efficient with her diagnosis
Great experience!!! Shila at the front desk was very kind aand helpful. Lisette the nurse was very friendly and great. The PA Corie was very nice, explained everything to me, and I could tell she truly cares. Thank you Access Urgent Care staff!
For an urgent care they sure aren’t urgent on picking up the phone. I tried to call to see if I could get a rapid Covid test and guess what? No answer. So I figured I’d just show up. When I do I get told they are booked till Sunday. Would have been nice to hear that over the phone instead of their looping hold message for ten minutes
Front desk was extremely polite. Nurse was super nice and helpful. Easiest covid test I’ve ever had done! Doctor was very quick and helpful! Great facility!
Amazing Staff! Front desk(Terri), Nurse(Alex), & Provider(Ashley). I went into this location for a second time and to my surprise after one visit about a week prior the staff remembered me and what was going on and followed up with me on my status of my health. I was at a lost the last time I went in and was miserable. They guided me in the right direction on how to get things handled for me to get better. I have never felt so comfortable in an urgent care before. They listen to your problems and work with you on how you feel like it should be handled. They actually CARE!Thank you to the wonderful ladies who show that it is about the patient and not how fast they can get people in and out. You all are amazing and deserve to be acknowledged for going above and beyond your duties to help me out!Terri, for having to send me things through email because I lose everything.Alex, for caring how I was treated unfairly at another location and helping me figure out what to do about my sooner care situation. And by not turning me away when I explained the hospital did not help me.Ashley, for taking time to explain my issues to me and for working with me to come up with a plan of action to help me get better. You are open to listening to what I feel is going on and making me comfortable in knowing you do care and are willing to make me feel as comfortable as possible in getting better. These ladies dont know I am a struggling single mother of a 2 and 7 yr old girls. That due to my health I struggle everyday to work and take care of everything on my own. That I live in Tulsa Housing and everything is based off of income. That all I needed was for someone to listen to me and help me and not jump to assumptions about me. You are all a blessing and thank you for everything!
Had very little wait time. The PA-C who saw me was nice and did thorough exam.
Best Urgent care in the area! Went to St. Francis yesterday and waited for an hour only to receive no help at all. I went to access medical center urgent care today and got right in! They were very kind and quick! Very professional! So grateful! ❤️❤️❤️
Ryan Nussbaum was very thorough, kind, caring and very professional in helping me with my care today. And Nurse Vanessa is so wonderful, too--very caring and helpful, too. I was in the BEST of hands today!! Thank you so very much!!
Front desk staff Robin and Jamie were very sweet and helped me get checked in quickly. Alex was great and took me back to a room and explained everything and the PA Corie was also very kind and efficient.
My fiancé brought our daughter (6mo) to this location this morning (2-7-19) and he sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes, no big deal besides there being no one else there. He told both the receptionist and the triage nurse our daughter was crying because she needed to poop so bad. Finally they were called back to a room where they sat for OVER an hour and still no one came in, eventually my fiancé packed up my daughter and walked out. He sat there for 67 minutes exactly, I have the times he texted me when they got back there and again when he decided to leave. I get places get crowded, but why did they sit there for over an hour without seeing the doctor? We will not be recommending this business to anyone.
Always have a great experience at access urgent care. Staff are friendly and efficient and diagnosis is accurate. I have have tried other urgent care providers but Access is the best by far!
If you see the NP instead of the doctor, she doesn’t care what you have unless it’s Covid. I tested negative for Covid and she seemed disappointed and didn’t even test you for anything else. I asked for antibiotics and she wouldn’t give me any medicine because she believes they don’t work. If you’re looking to get medicine to feel better she is not the one to see. The male doctor I saw last time I was there was way more helpful and tested for everything and gave me antibiotics, however if he isn’t there anymore then your SOL, don’t waste your time
Nice caring people from front desk to provider
One of the quickest, effective visits I’ve had to an urgent care in a long time. They listened to me, didn’t force a COVID test, and treated me for my symptoms. Thank you for a great experience!
Every experience my family and myself have had at this urgent care has been extremely good. We always get into see someone very quickly and theyre very thorough in their evaluations and treatment.
I sliced my hand Saturday afternoon. I was checked in, stitched up and discharged within 45 minutes. Everyone was delightful! Very friendly, professional and efficient. I recommend this clinic very highly.
They take their time and listen to you. Yes, you have some wait but it’s worth it for the doctors here. Once you’re in the back it’s not a long wait. The staff is always friendly and caring. Will always recommend anyone here.
All the staff was very courteous. I would imagine they’re beyond stressed with COVID, but I would’ve never known it by how they treated us. Would highly recommend and will use this location for all future urgent care needs.
I have made two different appointments with two different access medical centers for covid testing. Both times I call before my appointment to make sure they still have tests, but when I get there they say they are out/can only provide so many a day. There is very poor communication between the customer service via phone and the locations themselves.
If I could give this zero stars I would. Clearly states no appt required for tests. Just went. One person at the desk, no other cars. Not a single soul to be seen. First she says they have to have 15 min apart for tests. Im like cool, lets do this thang! But no. I can get an appt for a week from Thursday - 8 days from now. Thats effing crazy. No wonder covid keeps spreading.
Staff was kind and prompt but we were originally told that covid tests have a 5 to 7 day turn time. When I called to check on the results they informed me that the turn time was now 12 to 15 days and they sited volume as the reason. Many sites around Tulsa offer results in the same day. If you need quick results, this is not the place.
Possibly the most efficient and friendly urgent care I’ve ever been to. I love that you can check in to be seen online to save time. The staff was friendly and the doctor took her time and was very thorough.
I went in on a Monday right after work around 5 pm. I was the only patient. They got me in quickly, got a shot in the office, and they had me out in 30 min max.
Very quick and professional. Never have had long wait times and always leave feeling taken care of by the friendly staff. Highly recommend this location!
They were so very helpful and understanding of my situation and did their up most to work with me and made me feel calm to help me get through my exam and be successful.
Kind staff and quick to get me in. I walked in on 01/03/22 and got an appointment for the very next day. I went to the wrong location so I showed up about 25 minutes late and they still squeezed me in and got me seen. Highly recommend this location.
The Medical Care was good but the urgent care only had one Doctor available that day because of COVID19. I waited 2 hours for medical services. Management needs to allow more Doctors to work during shift.
Quick, thorough, knowledgable and so pleasant. I learned so much about my condition in one visit. Wonderful information and they took the time to really discuss things. Asked good questions, answered questions and gave a very thorough exam to look at various possibilities for my symptoms. Thank you!
Dr. Hunter and his staff were kind and compassionate. He did not rush through the visit. He gave me a breathing treatment at the office to give me relief from a horrible cough I had.
Very polite people all around. Got in and out in a timely manner. There was no waiting in the waiting room. Doctor was explanatory and listened with care! Treated the patient ( myself) 🙂 with care!
Never used them most likely never will tried calling about covid test .put on hold .for about 5 minutes first time. Tried calling again later put on hold around 20 minutes finally I just hung up. Feel like the 1 star i left on my rating. Is very overrated
Needed a Covid Test due to exposure from work. Made an online appointment for that morning. Upon entering facility with my mask on, was instructed by super nice, friendly and professional staff to return to car and they would call me to triage. They called within one minute of me returning to my car, did quick question and answer session then a nurse dressed in full PPE came to my car, did pulse ox and temp then quick nasal swab up both nares (not pleasant but not horrible either). Told me results in 13 mins.Provider came out to my car with results I was Negative (Hallelujah!!!) and advice for how to proceed from here. They are not taking payment at the time of test, they will send you bill so that was a nice treat! I’ll pay it when they bill me!Thanks Access for a great experience during this crazy Pandemic!!
Quick compassionate healthcare at a moments notice
Everyone was very helpful and efficient. We did not have wait long they took care of my medical with great care. All were friendly and gave good advice and follow up information
What a hugely disappointing experience right from the start. First, to check in, you are forced to scan a QR code that takes you to a site that is riddled with bugs. After fighting with the paw or 15 minutes. I was “summoned” to the front desk… After all that, the receptionist says in a teenage disregard— “ummmm, like, we are high volume and uh, low staff……..” and then didn’t say anything else.Me:” I do t know what that means? Can you see my child or not?”Her:” ummm, we are high volume…”Me:” I heard you the first time, can you see my child or can’t you?”Her:”I don’t know?”So we left and went to a clinic that is staffed with adults.Adjectives And phrases I would use to describe this place: Poorly Run, poorly managed, low quality staff. Frustrating, and apparently “low staff”
Got in fast and the staff was wonderful
Everyone was super nice. They were very helpful, quick and efficient. I would recommend Access to anyone needing medical attention. Doctor was informative and very pleasant. Thank you to all the staff.
This was the first time I have been at this facility. Very clean, very well organized in light of the COVID-19 situation. The staff was very friendly and the PA, Dan, very knowledgeable and very patient. I definitely recommend this place.
Terrible. Waited over an hour in an empty waiting room.I do not believe there is an actual physician on site.I was finally evaluated by a very unkempt young woman in a sweat suit, and an abrupt personality. The encounter lasted less than one full minute. She only identified herself as Ashley I am assuming she was a PA or NP?Additionally the facility is very dirty
Staff/nurse/doctor were very friendly and attentive!! I was in and out in less than 20 min. Very pleased.
Went in with a wheezing 7 year old at about 3:00 and was told the earliest we would be seen was 4:30. Clearly not a place to go if you need URGENT care just if you are sick and can’t get an appointment with your primary care doctor.
They got my grandma in quick and were very thorough and explained everything. Highly recommend!
The nurse that took me back, as well as the PA, Kevin, were both very nice! And I didnt have to wait long at all- Love the convenience of this place.
I thought it was extremely expensiveTook my mom to get Covid test, Flu test blood pressure taken and I was charged $380.00 USDI went to Ascención a month ago (no insurance) and got a COVID test, Flu, Strep, Chest X-ray and was charged $90.00NEVER AGAIN!!!These times are not to throw and give away your money…
Great staff felt well taken care of. They all were very compassionate and went above and beyond to make sure I felt all my needs were met.
The staff and physicians are always very fast and friendly! This is my go to urgent care! Love being able to check in online and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen! That’s less than anywhere else I’ve been seen!
The center was not busy at all. One other patient and me. It took over 2 hours and that is not acceptable. I needed X-rays and assurance that I didn’t have fracture after a fall from a ladder. Had to wait 20 min to be taken back to exam area, 20 more for dr to come into room, 10 min with dr, waited 30 min for X-ray to be warmed up or something like that. Another 30-45 for someone offsite to read X-ray. Wait for dr to tell me results. ER May have been more efficient.
Wonderful attentive staff. Short wait. Nurses and doctors listened, and did not dismiss any concern. Through testing to rule all possibles, regardless of how unlikely. Incredibly kind, and treated me like an adult, which is a problem I frequently came across with medical personal.
COVID testing is a Breeze here, The Drs and nursing staff completely get the stresses of having to test and they provide you with the correct, simplified documentation needed for your job/employment. Super professional, caring, and dedicated. LOVE , LOVE, LOVE Access Medical Center
Kelsie, Ginger and Vanessa were amazing! I had poison ivy from my head to my toes and was afraid to get a shot but they did such a fantastic job, I barely felt it…very grateful ♥️
Quick process and PA was very helpful
The most rude, impolite & inconsiderate nursing staff I’ve ever experienced. These ladies need an attitude check! Always snobby, never understanding of the patients needs/ situation & downright disrespectful. Shame on you for treating your community this way!
Everyone has always made me feel like I was their only patient. They are knowledgeable and very caring. I have always been in good hands there. They even called me at home to see how I was doing.
You may get the medical attention you need or you may show up to an appointment on time and still wait 3 hours to see a doctor fresh from school for 5 minutes only to give you a generic that may or may not be for what you have. Either wait for your pcp or just go to a real hospital. Front end staff was really nice though.
Got in quick and the staff was friendly. Would definitely come back to this location.
The staff is super friendly and so was the doctor. You could tell they really care and do anything to help you feel better as soon as possible.
Vanessa was right, she did my covid test and it was smooth and I promised to give her a 5 star for it. In all seriousness though, very pleasant experience.
I came to Oklahoma from Florida and I got congested and had a cough and I was recommended by a friend to go to Access Urgent Care on 96th and Riverside. I was very impressed and pleased with all the staff.
The frond desk staff was nice. I waited for over an hour in the exam room feeling awful. They told me they only have one doctor available. Do not come here if you have anything else to do or don’t feel like waiting for eternity in an empty room without being seen.
We were seen in a timely manner. Staff was sympathetic & kind to my daughter not feeling well. Very good experience.
The level of care was great and the doctor was very nice and patient. Only thing was the long wait time. Other than that the facility was nice and clean and the staff was nice as well
Had an appointment at 1:00 & arrived 10 minutes early as requested for a COVID 19 test. Didn’t get seen until 1:30 but luckily got the rapid results which was negative so it was worth the wait.
They are always quick and friendly! When I brought my daughter there, they had “Welcome Aubrey!” Written on the paper sheet. She was so excited!
Everyone was very nice, helpful, and respectful. You do have to wait a while, but that’s just how urgent care is. 100% recommend!
Everyone here is efficient, kind and professional. They make you feel comfortable and do a great job of carefully diagnosing your problem and getting you on your way.
Super helpful! They had no line and I was able to get in super quick even on a Saturday. Dr. Delong was super thorough and helped a lot!
Very attentive staff! Got me in quickly, acted like they cared, listened to what I said, and solved my problem. I was in and out in no time. Thanks again!
Great experience overall, definitely would recommend! Michelle Robinson (the PA on site) is very kind and helpful. The whole staff made going to the doctor a pleasant experience.
We waited well over an hour and we were the only ones there! When we finally got into a room... the children’s room I’m assuming.. it was ABSOLUTELY freezing....and I’m not talking it being the ac for the summer... I’m talking like it felt like we were sitting in a industrial cooler kinda cold 🥶. We will not be back and I don’t suggest anybody else come here either!
The NP was great! I had a respiratory infection but while there she addressed a dietary question I had. I didn’t feel rushed at all and she was a great listener!
Dr. Chris Hunter and the staff at Access Medical are amazing. Theyre kind, concerned with the quality of care that they provide and are truly concerned with the welfare of their patients.
My son saw Donna, a PA there who was fabulous! She addressed everything with us and went over the plan in detail. I would recommend them to anyone!
It took forever because there were so many people trying to get tested, but everyone was incredibly pleasant and friendly even though they must have been feeling pretty overwhelmed
Staff is friendly. Clean. Check in process easy. Don’t bother making an appointment because you will have to wait a ridiculously long time anyway.
This is my favorite Urgent Care. The staff is friendly and the Dr’s are professional and patient. My wait time is usually 5 mins or less. Highly recommend this facility.
This place is gross! The staff if mad sensitive and the service is subpar. Go somewhere else, I did!
I was treated very professionally and thorough my. I always feel listened to and treated nicely. When you dont feel good that sure helps. Thanks to all of you for helping me get better!
Dr. Hunter was incredibly kind and efficient. I was helped within 10 minutes of their office opening, and he didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or like I was overreacting to my symptoms. Thank you!
Great experience again!! I couldn’t get into an ENT and they were able to get my ear issues resolved! Michelle was so kind and caring! Love the staff here!
The whole process to book appointment was simple. The staff was nice and got positive results.
