Places are really good, and theyve been very polite. I didnt have to spend a lot of time; thankfully, there was not much of a queue. Overall, a very nice experience.
As soon as I walked into Urgent Care on Hanes Mall Blvd, I was shown kindness, patience, compassion, and professionalism, by Shanica, RN. And before I left, she said she hoped I felt better, and that just blessed my soul.I had to get an x-ray and the sweetest lady named Serena was ever so careful that she didnt cause me any discomfort. And finally, Niamh, the PA, made sure all my questions were answered, and all my needs were fulfilled before leaving. I thank God for these ladies because not only did I feel heard, I felt like I was seen and understood. God bless them all.🙏🏾❤️
All the staff were very friendly and very helpful.I was seen very fast and my problem was taken care of! I commend the care there! Excellent experience! Excellent care and Excellent staff! If I could rate above a 10 —i definitely would.I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Service here was amazing! The two people at the front were very kind, one being the doctor that saw me.Dr. Zackry Briggs was very knowledgeable and patient, as I had my two kids with me. I was given good explanation on what was going on, and they had me on my way.If I need an urgent care in the future, I will definitely be going here!
I had a 8:00am appointment and wasn’t even greeted properly by the receptionist. She seemed to have an attitude and was not very friendly. After checking in I was forced to be moved back to my vehicle due to the Physical Assistant not being on time and waiting on her to arrive. After she arrives I was moved to a room where she asked me questions that were rhetorical due to the pain I was experiencing with my wrist. I then had to wait another 25-30 min to wait for the radiologist to arrive since she was not already here. After the radiologist arrived and did the X-RAY I had to wait another 15-20 mins to have the X-RAY read. It was very unprofessional and I will not be coming back for any health assistance.
The facility was open late when I was sick. I got there at 9:30pm. Everyone was nice. That extra compassion makes a big difference when youre sick.It says a lot about the people working there that they’re taking care of other people when they could be at home with their families. Very selfless.
Dr. Hammond was terrific. I felt like she listened to my concerns and she responded right away with treatment. I didnt have to wait long - great considering I wasnt feeling well. Overall great experience.
We were visiting from out of state and needed to see a doctor. We were greeted and processed with speed and friendless. The clinic is modern, clean, and efficient. The doctor had our files pulled up from our home state and was able to treat us immediately.
DIAGNOSIS: Spider Bite that I waited too long to treat.TREATMENT: Antibiotics and a painful cleaning of the open wound.I was greeted by a very friendly, Martine D. who took my information with a smile and had me smiling by the time she was through.I was then passed on to Emily B. who was an absolute joy to deal with. She expertly took my information and got right to the point. It was a nasty situation and she showed no fear and put me at ease. Then Dr. Parks came in and gave it to me straight. Pain... it was going to hurt and she made no bones about it. She prepared me well and got straight to work. Her delegation skills were top notch and i am grateful I chose this particular Urgent Care (GoHealth).Teena Harrison did my follow up visit and was also top notch!5 stars and highly recommended!-Dan Felts
Ive been to this urgent care over the summer for something respiratory, and it went fine. I left with the intention that it was walk-in friendly. I visited yesterday morning around 0930 because I had a really nasty fall, and my ankle was 3x the size. Granted, as soon as I walked in, I began to cry. Just getting there was a challenge. The woman behind the desk didnt seem to want to be there. She asked for my name, DoB, and phone number and said the sign in link was to be sent to my phone. Ok, cool. I waited there for 15-30 minutes and saw that my name had never appeared on the board. I had to ask her for the time slot I was placed into. She said 1500. For reasons unknown, thats not good enough information to tell someone when theyre sitting waiting to receive care while experiencing the worst pain imaginable. I left and went to the ER to learn that I, in fact, fractured my ankle. Ive never broken anything in my life. Went to Ortho Carolina around 1430, immediately after visiting the ED, and learned that I need surgery to get my ankle fixed because of how it broke. All I can think of is how that woman at the urgent care wanted me to sit in the lobby with a broken ankle until 3pm. Im very grateful for the team at Novants ER and Ortho Carolina. During those 5.5 hrs I would have been waiting to be seen, I received all of the information that I needed because of their timely responses and empathy. Thats patient care and providing an excellent experience. I will never refer anyone to this facility again due to their lack of empathy and urgency.
I checked in ahead of time, and there was hardly any wait. Everyone was friendly and professional! I was given an accurate diagnosis, followed by a treatment plan that worked very well!
Josie was attentive and receptive to my concerns and problems. She sat with me and explained everything clearly. Really appreciative how fast and effective her care was.
Horrible care! Stiches were improperly done on my grandson. Upon return today to have the stiches removed all staff agreed that a horrible job was done! The total charge was close to $400.00. I will try my best to recoup money Ive paid out!
The words that you do not want to hear when you go to the doctor are I dont know what this is, but Im sending an urgent referral to a dermatologist. Then, he gave me a prescription for steroids and an anti-itching med. Never heard from the dermatologist, and after the steroids were finished, the itching is back. The charge for this Urgent Care was over $350 plus 2 prescriptions. If you have a sprained ankle or skinned knee, Im pretty sure they could help you(maybe even get you a referral), but this version of Doc in a box just isnt workable(for me) unless you already know whats wrong.
This was an amazing experience. It was a very short wait and the staff were amazing. Crystal was the nurse and she gave my child immediate care and was so kind when he threw up in her while getting anX-ray. The PA was straight forward and attentive as well. I would defiantly go back.Their kindness and quickness amazes me.
Lindsay Hammond, NP, was fantastic. The Staff was friendly and efficient. I had a severe cut on my hand that needed stitches.
First, they took walk-ins. The receptionists were nice. The NP was easy going and knowledgeable. Felt seen, heard and helped.
They took me right away. The doctor was amazing to care of my problem. I would definitely go to this urgent care if I had to again.
Physician gave me very good care and listened to my concerns. They have great customer service.
Julienne(Jill)Summerlin PA was nothing short of amazing. Being 3 hours away from home and your 12 year old gets a horrible gash during a basketball tournament, that may need stitches. She was the absolute perfect person to handle the care that was needed.
I walked in to the clinic sound 9:30pm the service was well organized, timely and efficient. I was in and out and able to get my medicine that same night
I have been to my fair share of urgent cares and this is 100% my absolute favorite one. Its clean, its very nice, and best of all, its FAST! Ive never waited more than 10 min to see the Dr. I highly recommend this place, even if you have to drive a little farther to get there.
Great care. Everyone was exceptional. Jade and Michelle the provider were great!
The staff here were very nice & I did not have a wait time. The check in process was also very smooth with me being able to check in online and upload any documents needed such a insurance cards, ID, etc. Dr. Charles Patrick was amazing & kind! He also gave me encouraging words for nursing school lol!
Cleanliness, promptness, the absolute expertise of Dr Jennifer Parr. She explained everything to me. She was very friendly, and I trusted her completely. All in all it was absolutely professional and quick. If a person must cut their finger, that is the best experience to remedy it.
Dr. Briggs really cared, and I appreciate him for looking out for me.
Great place to see an urgent care medical issue! Compassionate people. Thank you.
I made an online save my space appointment and went at that time. When I arrived I was asked to wait, that was no problem. After waiting the receptionist checked my insurance and said that I did not have coverage and offered self pay. I said I have active coverage and she stated that the online portal said I did not have coverage. I left, sick, with no help and went online to check my coverage, which said I was active. I verified with my insurance the following day, as the office was closed by this time, and was told my insurance was active. Because of this receptionist I went the whole weekend without medical treatment and had a severe sinus infection. Needless to say I do not recommend this facility to anyone.
I am working out of town and hurt my back. I went online and made an appointment for after work. Five minutes after I walked in they took me to the back and I was talking to the doctor. Dr Parker was very friend and talked to me about my issue. I told her I didn’t want to take a medication and she gave me something better. She is for sure a people person. Also the nurse that did all my vitals and x-rays was very friendly too. Sorry I can’t remember her name. Thank you ladies for your help.
Speed of service was incredible! But what really made the visit was the nurse practitioner and staff. The NP was so kind, caring and upbeat. I felt like I had been run over by a truck and she was so positive and relatable. She took time to care, threw a few lighthearted jokes my way and then offered me a fast way to feel better with a quick oral steroid treatment in office as well as an antibiotic to pick up. As a Novant Health team member I must say Im so impressed with her and with this GoHealth location. Thanks for the remarkable care
I highly recommend this facility in lieu of a crowded emergency room. I was seen quickly and was tested with a level of respect seldom seen in todays medical care.
If I could have scored this establishment a zero I would have. Don’t waste you time going here. This was my second and last time visiting. The staff here is extremely rude. No bedside manner whatsoever. While seated in the lobby I watched a guy (who had a boot on each foot and trying to walk on crutches) nearly fall over and the two nurses/receptionist sat there and did nothing to assist him. If that wasn’t enough I get to the back and the nurse taking my vitals acts as though my being there is an inconvenience to her. Never again!! I repeat DON’T COME HERE!!!
I went in for a COVID test. While the facility is pretty clean and they move fairly fast, the employees could do a better good with customer service. The lady who took me back wasn’t friendly and didn’t make me feel comfortable while I was there. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there and acted as if she did not want to come near me while I was in the room even though we both had on mask. She didn’t even offer me a tissue after swabbing my nose to do the COVID test. I didn’t get her name but I don’t think she should work in healthcare. The PA I saw was pretty nice and knowledgable for the most part.
1st receptionist and all PAs were very friendly, nice, and professional. PA took time to take care of me with a tick bite. Such a pleasant person to deal with!
It took hours to get in but the Nurse and Nurse Practitioner took care of a problem I was having. This had to be the most unhappy staff Ive ever seen though because they never smiled or showed any type of compassion during my treatment. I tried to be very nice even though I was hurting but I never got a nice word just totally blank expression and hurry up type attitude. I guess it doesnt matter. This world is just going that way to faces stuck to cell phones and social media with no human emotions.
Excellent nurse & doctor!! Just great care & bedside manner period. The doctor was concerned with an issue tied to the injury and referred me to the ER for further testing, which I appreciated her honesty & care.
I apparently left off a step in my check in online but they worked it out and got me inNo problem
Reception staff was not friendly or welcoming, but nurse and doctor were professional and helpful.
Best urgent care I’ve been to. Made an appointment online, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Always hated the thoughts of urgent cares, but the staff were great, and service was fast. Will always return to this location.
Went there last night. My wife had a serious eye injury that needed to be evaluated. They said there was only one doctor available and that the wait would be more than three hours! The staff did not care one bit. Did they talk to the doctor to see if she/he might want to do a quick eval on her condition---NO. We left and went to the ED at the hospital.
How I was able to reserve a spot, also how quickly I was seen. The staff was very professional. The doctor listened to everything I had to say,she diagnosed me and my prescription was ready by the time I left.
I had a wonderful experience at the urgent care. Dr. Patrick was amazing! I wish he could be my GP!The staff was very kind, especially after being there for over 10 hours.
I was attended by PA James Mosier today at 11:20 am (exactly when I had made my appointment) and the medical knowledge, efficiency and kind care I was given motivated me to leave a review which I seldom do. He diagnosed me and prescribed medication with a discussion of the possible side effects like I have never received in my 70+ years. I feel remarkably better tonight - 12 hours after my visit and 2 doses of antibiotic! I was so impressed by the entire staff and this was my first visit. Thank you, Novant for staffing your walj-in clinics with such professional and kind personnel.
Whats the use of it begin called urgent care when its only one doctor/ pa available to see people I waited over an hour in pain only to be told they couldnt see me. I called and the receptionist told me to come and that I would be seen . When they announced that they couldnt see anyone else the doctor /pa whatever he is yells he didnt know a man was coming in with chest pains (Hippa Violation) telling all that mans business while he is laying right there on the strecher. COME ON NOVANT YOU ALL HAVE TO DO BETTER!
Sharon Scott, CMA made my visit smooth, easy, pain free. She is wonderful!! My provider, I forgot his name, but he was FANTASTIC and the visit was quick! I appreciate both of them!
Very Professional and explained in detail answers to my questions. I would highly recommend this Novant Urgent Care!!!
You have been very helpful in managing my health. Last visit was based on having COVID and getting back to normal. Fortunately, I didnt get too severe. Back to normal within a few days.
NOVANT Walk in Clinic on Hanes Mall Blvd, is by far the best place to be seen for minor illnesses. I saw Frank Charles Patrick, PA, and he was excellent. He was professional, polite and very efficient. The whole staff was very helpful. Yes, I definitely would recommend this clinic🩷
Dr listened, reviewed my info/ file... made sure everything was as it should be and explained everything clearly.
Called number on Google maps to determine whether or not I could get a chest x-ray. ...just got a recording-no human at the other end, so here I am (9 miles later)...to discover that X-ray tech is not on duty all week! With all other urgent care in the area closed at this late hour, I get to wait at Novant ER. Google how do I give zero stars here?! P.S. youll find some attitude here.>>UPDATE: their response - an AI-generated call us if you want, but we actually dont give a sxxt. Silly me...why would I expect more from our NC-based tax-free subsidized industrial health machine? We have great choices (not): either Novant or Advocate.
Absolutely amazing experience. Staff was lovely and very sweet.
Everyone was polite and helpful. I was seen quickly. I took one point off because there are somany things they dont do.
I went for severe pain and discomfort. I cried in front of the doctor there bc of the pain and after explaining everything he left the room. Immediately after I heard my name being said and giggling from the doctor and nurses. My brother in the waiting room (who they did not see) said he also heard the doctor and nurses talking about me in front of other patients sitting near by. Quite sure this was a hippa violation and very unprofessional.
Treated with the utmost courtesy here. Being a bit stubborn I have to be very sick to seek medical help, and was very surprised that since I hadnt been to my regular drs office in over three years I had become a new patient! I was advised to seek out a walk in clinic to get faster attention and since Id been here once before I thought of this office immediately! These folks in this office are very professional and treat their patients with compassion!
I usually go to wake urgent care in clemmons but since this urgent care is closer to where I was , I decided to check in online. Scheduled time 8:20am, I completed everything online prior to coming and my wait time is 30 min, which is ok with me, what’s not ok is the nurse or assistant nurse that took me in the room. She was not friendly and the way she asked me questions feels like I’m applying for a job, and i can tell she’s so scared to come close to me. I am wearing mask and she is too, i went to urgent care because of sore throat. I would understand that she needs to be on the safe side but she was too far from me when she did the strep test and kept on telling me to open my mouth wide because she couldn’t see, well of course she will not really see it clearly because she is too far.
It was easy to get an appointment quickly. My provider Frank was wonderful. He listened, was thoughtful, cared for me well and I felt so much better the next day.
Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Getting my urine test while I waited saved time and I went right into a room. The Doctor was respectful, friendly and knowledgeable.
The staff was very welcoming! Receptionist/ nurse was AMAZING and so very kind! Words cant express how nice it was to walk into a doctors office and get such great care from the staff - I loved my doctors honesty & how he got straight to the point. I love the paper work given to me that helped me understand what was going on! Definitely would be back (just not for the flu) 🤧 Thank you for being so kind & professional! Love the atmosphere as well! Medical care should always be comfortable to the patient!
Check-in immediately put me in a room even though I was late for my hold my space time. Radiology was patient and obtained x-rays in a relaxing manner rather than a clinical kind of way. Brad PA was great. He took the time to explain what was happening to me verbally and visually. He even immediately saw me again after Id already gone but forgot to ask him something, taking the time to explain things once again. The place was immaculately clean and quiet, and the staff was knowledgeable and efficient. If I dont go to my pcp or the hospital, this is definitely where I go. I have gotten the same awesome treatment by whomever was on staff each of the three times I have gone there.
This is my favorite urgent care place by far. It’s always extremely clean and the people who work there never fail to be incredibly friendly and professional. On my latest visit, Marrietta, Sharon and Frank got me in and made it happen at the very end of the night. And they did it with smiles, proficiency and professionalism. Thanks guys!!
Every physician here, are some of the best physicians that I have come across. They are great listeners, they have patience, and they do their job at the best of their abilities. There are a lot of people in the healthcare industry that can be lazy and dont care about their patients. But at Novant Health Go-Urgent, they care.
Great and clean place. The wait wasnt bad, it moved smoothly, and Shout out to Dr. Lindsey and the check in Nurse
Waited 1.5 hours Only to find out they do not have any inventory to administer a basic tetanus shotI would recommend calling ahead to make sure they have the inventory on hand before you assume anything.
Took my granddaughter hear to have her ears looked at for suspected ear infection. Ladies at the desk were very nice, the PA was very sweet as well. We were in & out in about 30mins with a diagnosis & antibiotics (double ear infection & ruptured ear drum). The PA even went a little further and scheduled an ENT appointment after being told ear infections were a chronic condition. Will definitely come back here again.
Fast , friendly, efficient. Ive never been in and out faster Im 44 . I woke up in pain at 2am Thursday morning. I got online and made my 840am appointment, I was in the Doctor office at 830am out and treated by 850am . Had my prescription filled and home by 915am . Easiest Doctor appointment and execution Ive ever experienced.
Went to the facility since it was close to my house and I had gone there before. I had an appointment because of symptoms preventing me from going to work at Novant Health. The medical assistant was pleasant. I let her know that I was up and down throughout the previous night coughing sneezing and had a 100.6 fever upon waking up and the latest temperature was 98.6. The appointment progressed with a nasal swab for Covid testing only and I was told to look in MyChart for the results and was free to go. I did not see anyone regarding any of the other symptoms. I will most likely have to return for my other symptoms due to the moist cough.
The quality of care and knowledge of my condition is what I liked best.
Marietta and Frank were great. They took me in even though they had a booked schedule, and had me in and out in under an hour. Marietta was very kind and empathetic. I’ve been here a time or two prior and didn’t have the greatest experience before, but they both changed that for me. Thank you! :)
They definitely need better customer service skills. I went in today to see if I could get my son physical signed since thats where he got his sports physical done. The lady at the front desk was all around RUDE, not just to me but as I STOOD there for over 30 minutes to multiple other customers also. It took them literally 45 minutes just for them to look up a date and stamp a paper && to top it off the building was empty no one was in there.. this wouldnt even be my last resort of an urgent care to come to.
Every time I come to this Urgent Care, I am treated quickly but thoroughly, and I am given so much care and respect. They understand my depression and how upset I am when Im sick. They actually care about my FULL well being, and it means SO much. They are nothing less than professional and organized.I feel safe and confident being treated there, for whatever problem or illness I have.
Call for save my spot as nose bleed has been going on & not feeling well at all. Spot was given for 3:20. Time is 4:32 & still setting in waiting room. Still feeling terrible & nose still bleeding. This is horrible!!!!!
Wait wasnt long. PA came in as soon as I got to room. Left with prescriptions for problem & already feeling better. Only negative was I specifically chose Novant so my chart info would be visible. But I had to fill out patient info, insurance, etc even though everything in chart current. Otherwise a good experience & PA was nice, personable & professional.
Worst experience I’ve received, after appointment I called left voicemails no responses. When I came in they told me they were over staffed and couldn’t pick up any calls all day or return a voicemail I left over a week ago. Staff is not friendly was talking to receptionist and she just walked off and stated she had to do something with a patient’s MyChart then assist me with my concerns. I was ignored and not helped. Short staffed is not an excuse for urgent care at all, needs better professional help on team.
You guys are awesome; Ive gone to you guys multiple times now. I live in High Point and its worth the drive. Every time I go to this location, everybody is very nice, attentive, and friendly. Its a clean facility and has a smooth operation system, too.
Honestly if they are not going to do there jobs then why are they opened at all. I came here today about an ear infection which could have been a fast in and out first when I pulled up here one of your workers decided to have a little party out front of you building dancing with her headphones in. Next my appointment is at 12:20 pm told to get here 10 minutes earlier for the workers to just to be staring at us. We tried calling and the completely ignored the call and kept staring. To be honest it would be better to get better staff or not be opened at all.
The receptionist and the Doctor I saw were both very friendly and prompt in giving me the care I needed. My wait time wasnt long at all. I was very impressed with this facility and have already recommended them to myfamily in the area.
I’ve been to this urgent care several times only because it’s close to my house. But after this visit, I recommend no one go there. The guy at the front, Jonathan, is rude every single time I’m there. Whether it be me or another client, he’s rude and unhelpful. The doctor still hasn’t submitted my prescription to my pharmacy even though they said they did and this is the fourth bad experience I’ve had with them over the last two years.
The nurse at the desk was very friendly and helpful which is the only reason I give them any stars. The doctor acted like I was bothering him and he had better things to do. He was not friendly nor did he even pretend to be concerned or interested in why I came in. I have never been to this location before and I will never go back. I have been the location on Hanes Mall Blvd many times and never been treated this way by any of the doctors or nurses. Dont waste your time going to this location, rudest I have ever been treated by a doctor.
It gives me so much peace of mind having this urgent care right around the corner. I had my first UTI and went there when coworkers told me I started to look pale! The doctor was knowledgeable, took the time to explain what I could do to help prevent further infections or imbalances, and got me a prescription quick. I kicked it in a few days and have been very well since! Having a staff that is caring and quick as they can be helped me feel safe and well taken care of.
I made an appointment at the Urgent Care in Clemmons and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seen and in the meantime feeling miserable. When they called me, as a courtesy they could’ve apologized but they didn’t. As I am giving my ID and insurance card, the lady in the front desk with the guy all the way in the back were laughing and joking. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for for a place that assist sick people. The guy that took me to a room and took my vitals was nice. The PA that assisted me has no people skills, not once he showed empathy. I was asked about my symptoms three different times. My experience was awful and I expected better from Novant employees. They need coaching on how to be professional and show empathy.
Was seen quickly with no appointment.Dr. Patrick was very thorough and ask important questions and listened to me and my answers to him concerning my illness, and prescribed what I needed to recover.
My husband had a very bad cyst and we were billed $400 for the doctor to literally just poke it for 2 minutes. She told us herself that if it were to get any worse we could come back within a 10 day period and we didn’t have to pay another fee. It got worse so we went back at around day 6. We were refused service and just turned away and they were very rude about it. They said that the doctor would not see him even though I told them that the doctor herself said she would if it got worse and they refused and said no and that we would have to pay another $400 to be seen again. They are extremely rude. They wouldn’t even listen and gave us very very nasty looks my husband could have gotten an infection. Terrible.
First of all it took them two times telling me they would be there shorty. The last time I called them and told them I had been still waiting for more than twenty minutes still. So I finally got out my car and went in. There was no one in there I could not believe it. They said to have a seat and someone would be with me. No one never said that they were sorry that I had to wait so long. It was Ike they really wasnt interested at all. And when I was finally called into the room she was kind of cold I was just really to get out of there. They were not pleasant or professional at all. They need to get it together for we are people too.Thank You!
I got COVID tested. The lady performing my test told me the results should appear in approx 15 min. I waited the rest of the day for my results. The next day no results posted- I called several times and left two voicemails with no response back. I again waited the next day and called- no answer. I had to drive another 45 min to this urgent care just to get my results. It took me 2 and a half days to get my Covid test results back. The front desk employee told me my results were in on Friday they just didn’t have time to release it. Don’t go to this urgent care.
Front desk was extremely patient, empathetic and thorough with me and other patients who came in. The provider was friendly and respectful. She listened to my needs and understood my concerns. 100% would recommend.
Took my very sick kiddo on Sunday to get checked out, pretty sure it was strep throat. They refused to do a strep test citing, “we are really confident that it’s not strep unless he’s been drinking after or kissing someone that has strep”. They said that several times. My son is 6 and is just back at school, there is no telling who he has come in contact with. Plus, back to school time is when I always got strep as a kid. Anyway, we left there less than thrilled with no treatment plan and a very sick kid. I followed up with his REAL Dr on Tuesday as soon as they opened and low and behold, he has strep throat! If they had tested him on Sunday, he could have already been on meds to be treated and started feeling better. Instead, he’s missing school and feeling worse! I am livid! I do not plan on paying for services NOT rendered and will never step foot back in there! I would suggest if you have a sick kid or anyone, go to the ER OVER THIS PLACE! If I could give zero stars I would!
Trash said my appoint was at 8 am and to arrive 10-15 min early there all looking out the door at me and my daughter outside waiting until 8 when the place opensBut they told me to arrive early
Very competent staff. Receptionist kept me informed about my appointment. Doctor was very competent and followed up with a call to me.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. Novant Health Urgent Care at Highlands Oaks is trash and should be shut down.First, the welcoming is terrible. I came in the office and waited 5 - 10 minutes for a receptionist before I realized I had to check myself in before I could be seen by a receptionist, which wasn’t a problem. I just wish they had a sign or something pointing to the tablet telling me what I had to do.Secondly, even though you check yourself in with a tablet, which then giving you an appointment time, you still have to sit in the lobby to wait from the to call you back. That wouldn’t have been a problem if that was clear but it wasn’t. I showed up, waited, and waited, and waited until the receptionist decided to ask me my name.Once I was able to go in the back, I had to wait again. This time, it was a least an hour. I could understand if it was busy, but there was only one person in the entire lobby. Straight pathetic. After was seen my the PA-C, not a MD... by the way, I had to wait again, which took another 30 to 45 minutes. What takes the cake is the ability to do there jobs. All I needed was my blood drawn and they couldn’t do that. They stuck me 4 times and they weren’t able to get the blood they needed to run their test. They even ask the PA-C to try and he said he didn’t want to try. Really..? Anyway, they said they would try to run the test with the little blood they were able to get and if it doesn’t work, they would send me to the hospital or LabCorp. Really...? My arms are killing me because of their incompetence and lack of skills to get the job done. Please do not waste your time, money, or energy going to that place. You will spend after the day dealing with there nonsense. They do not know how to draw blood for crying out loud. I didn’t go to urgent care to be a pin cushion or practice. Also, do not run there own blood test, which is even more annoying. Now, I have to deal with them for another 5 to 7 days, which is something I do not want to do.
I see what people are taking about in terms of staff. They do lack customer service skills. Unfortunately feel that in most places these days. If your going to be in customer service then do your job. The doctor I saw was fine. He was pleasant. Has I seen the reviews before going, I wouldnt have went to this location.
The new urgent Care is amazing! I love Dr Brad who always seem to take care of me when I come! He is very patient with me and he listens to My health concerns. Also ,Tyashia Thanks for making sure I had what I asked for, and making sure I had drinks etc...You have excellent customer service and thats what people need! The new facility is awesome , beautiful, and bigger, I will always go there for my emergency situations!!!! Keep up the Great work!!!!
I know not everyones experience may not be like mine, but I received great service from knowledgeable, concerned and friendly staff. My wait time to be seen was short and the doctor was thorough and knowledgeable. I got the diagnosis and meds I needed and was out in less than an hour. If you go there, go first thing in morning.
This place is asking for a lawsuit. My husband and I went it with Covid symptoms and could barely get out of bed. We had newborn twins and drove from Greensboro today to drop our kids off at my parents and had to find a place close to do the test. They state they close at 5pm on Sundays we walked in 4:43 and instantly greeted by Shannon with a frowning face saying we’re closed and we have others to check in sorry go to emergency room we can’t do nothing for you. I purposely recorded her saying it and refusing to admit us in and since she wouldn’t check us in I used the iPad by the door to check in. They purposely have a full voicemail and don’t pick up at least an hour before closing. Terrible place!
The doctor today was a great one thanks for all that you are doing.
I went to this office last night and the staff was absolutely awesome!! From the moment I called to get an appointment to getting there and meeting the staff, I was very impressed. The online registration process was easy and organized. The NP was thorough, the staff was friendly and caring. In the midst of a pandemic, these folks are the real heroes!! THANK YOU!!
This urgent care is highly recommended. Staff is kind and accommodating. The service is fast. The place is clean and well-organized
Do not come at 4pm! We have been sitting here for 2 and a half hrs. And they close at 8pm. Its now 630pm. If you come before 3pm youll be in and out.
I showed up just as they were closing on Wed. They took the time to get me set for apt next morning. I was pretty sure I had food poisoning but wanted to be sure before my 3 hr. trip home Thursday. They were wonderful and helpful that morning. Gave me something for nausea and sent me on my way. Even checked on me after I got home. I would recommend them to other travelers.
Mixed feelings. Clean place, the secretary was not professional. After my Covid test I was given a paper towel to wipe my nose. That hurt. The PA was good
I realize that you dont finish at the top of your medical school class and end up at an Urgent Care, but the level of incompetence and bald faced dishonesty exhibited by these people is mind boggling. Ive been twice. The first time some idiot diagnosed a swollen finger as a wart. Later, a competent physician diagnosed it as arthritis, which of course, was correct. The second time, charged me $180 for a prescription for a drug that costs $11 with no refill. In other words, their plan was to continue charging me $180 per month to receive that drug -- a drug I need for my heart. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
Attentive, compassionate staff. Fast service. Clean facilities.
Bad service I walk in with my son and the lady on the front is going to tell me that my son is not on my chart. He’s been going any novant health and go health for years. And this lady in going to tell me he don’t have anything. They even have his picture his insurance information.I didn’t took anything because they never ask it’s the first time they do. And i know she’s lying.
I went to your lab to talk with Kirsten Jones in person about what has happened to me because of the erroneous lab-report that was issued for me at the time that Louis Marino was the lab-director. She was not available and I shared my story with two ladies at the reception, they promised that they are going to share it with you and that you are going to give me a call. However, neither her nor anyone from Urgent care center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina has reached out to me to talk about and accept the responsibility of the errors made at your end, in the lab.In the morning of 04/23/2021, a lady from your lab named Christina called me as she had noticed that my date of birth was erroneous in the result, and this was the first error made by your lab operator. Then I shared with her that I lost my International flight on 04/22/2021 because someone at your lab not only had put the wrong date of birth for me in my Covid-19 PCR test result, but also your lab operator had put in the wrong collection date, and wrong reported date, so many errors from your lab. How careless and irresponsible the operator of your lab can be! Consequently, I missed my international flight from Chicago after I had already flown from Charlotte to Chicago! On 04/23/2021 at 2:00 am I had to book a hotel at OHARE airport for $200, I had to retake another PCR test on 04/23/2021 in Chicago for $210, I had to pay $180 for a taxi to take me to and from the lab in Chicago. I had to buy a new airfare from Qatar Airways for $405! Let alone about the stress and the inconveniences that I, my husband in Winston-Salem, and my parents waiting for me overseas have gone through! Christina has expressed her sincere apologies and promised me to share it with the lab director, you, and she said Urgent care center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is going to give me a call, and pursue the issue, which never happened! The only way to compensate and rectify your employees errors at your lab in my result could be accepting all these extra fees due to the employee’s carelessness and irresponsibility. However, they didn’t even care to call to apologize! You have the poorest most awful customer service and care for your clients!
I went to this facility about 4pm today for a Covid Test. Checked in at the Kiosk. One of the options was to be able to leave the facility and keep my place in line. Went to my car, filled out the registration the emailed. Was over a 5 hour wait. And then this happened.... Your scheduling system needs som work. And the lack of empathy your staff provided needs some coaching. This is absolutely not acceptable
The rudest staff I’ve EVERY seen at this location. I’m not sure who or why the change was ordered for Novant to become GoHealth or combine but the staff needs extra training. I came in and their was no one at the front desk for at least 15 min,Why because the receptionist was in the back talking and hanging out with God knows who. They had a waiting room full of people and everyone was was doing NOTHING to help these people. Kenisha or whatever her name is was the rudest person i ever met! Novant has a pretty decent name and this location isn’t helping it at all. No worries I won’t be back.. and from the looks of it soon NO ONE will.
Please Read This!! this review is only for this location; my wife went there to do a Covid-19 test which we all know most of the insurance covers it and I know for sure my insurance covers it because this is not the first time doing the test. Anyway, she did the test back in June 19, 2021 and few weeks later a bill shows up in my wife’s name with due balance of $154.41. so, went online to check and sure enough it was the day my wife went to do Covid test, but the problem was, whoever did the test marked the visit as office visit! I called so many times, filled online forms, and talk to customer service and they always said yeah, we will send it back to the insurance and see if they pay it. we kept receiving bills (same bill) which mean it did not work. I bet they did not even try to change the visit code from (office to Covid test)! I do not understand why we must pay for someone else mistake.? The issue is not resolved and last week my wife got the bill again she tried calling customer service but guess what? No one answered the phone! I am very unhappy about this I know after fourth bill they will send it to collections. We stopped going there for our urgent care needs and for covid related things in my case Covid test! For everyone reading this review please double check with them that the visit you are going for is recorded (coded) correctly in the system otherwise you will have the same thing happening to you and later on maybe writing the same review. Finally, if someone form Novant is reading this the ticket was not resolved and it was closed. ticket #81508 date august 2, 2021
If you have an option, go somewhere else. No one picks up the phone. Even with an appointment I ended up waiting for over 1 hour in my car for a COVID test, after that they gave me no instructions or information. I just sat in my car for another 20 minutes and then left. They later on informed me of a negative result over the phone, didn’t even email the results for record. No one picks up the phone at reception, it’s very difficult to inform them that you are at the parking as a walk in, just adds more time to an already long wait time. Since they are marketing themselves as a COVID testing center, they really need to streamline the process and have dedicated staff for rapid testing.
So stop at this place today to be seen because clearly says URGENT CARE, but I was told I have to wait to see if they can squeeze me in after seen all appointments first.I asked what’s the waiting period and she says well the doctors schedule is pretty full today and the lobby was completely EMPTY. Ridiculous. Never will go to this place again.
Terrible costumer service at the front desk. Initially tried to push me out of the door and go to another location saying 2.5 hour wait. Registering online said 1 hour. Had an Attitude because I stayed. Delayed minor care because insurance card was split in half?! Called a manger on the phone to verify it was okay to take. Although, they e-verify !!!!! Proceeded to tape the card together very slowly, while stopping and talking to other staff. 3 others that came in after me, went before me!
Speed up your service. I waited for 5 hrs in my truck to get 2 nose swaps that took 2 mins. Then sent home to follow up on MyChart. Just to find out I had the flu. Not a good experience.
Fractured right humeral head and you all took a pic of the left shoulder. REMARKABLE.
The kindness and the expediency of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms and having my own private bathroom meant a lot.Thank you all for all your care in search of my issue.
Dr. Williams was very knowledgeable and referred to the updated covid treatment recommendations. Professional yet friendly. The checking staff was respectful and friendly. I recommend this GoHealth site.
I came in with a Neck and shoulder pain. They took me in right away and treated me. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Thank you
Should be ashamed, turning away a 2 year old because you close in 20 minutes. The receptionist didn’t even check with the doctor. 0 people in the lobby. Her suggestion was to come back tomorrow.
I had a wonderful experience, great customer service, friendly & clean atmosphere! I cant remember names but they All were very professional and made sure I felt that I will be taken care of! Thanks, Novant for your consistent Help, its greatly appreciated & unnoticed!!!
Due to Covid we were required to wait in our cars upon checking in via text. A car that pulled beside of me 10 minutes later was called first after we had waited past my appt time. The exam was done outside. I do not feel it was thorough exam. I was covid tested. Which was the rapid test was negative. They will send off the other. . Seems to me like that was all they cared about. Not what was really going on.
Their business methods are appalling, do you people know that you are medical professionals, dedicated to preserving human health in the midst of a pandemic!?... I went in for a covid test, and was told I needed an appointment - thats fine, but there wasnt a single person in the waiting room. I was told I could get a test, but I had to do a virtual visit with a doctor so that THEY could ADVI$E that I need a test, and then they would test me... I told you my symptoms, and you know were in a freaking pandemic.. dont you want to take 15min and do your part in preventing potential spread of a virus?? I am!! No, you turned me away back into the public, or gave me the offer for virtual docs to get their $ so I can get tested.. How many people you think would just go home and say screw it and not get tested? So backwards & disgraceful.. you should be very, very ashamed.
Dr J Moser was a straight shooter medically and after observing my medicall condition , gave a bold medical assessment of what medication to prescribe.
I experience the most friendly and professional atmosphere upon me entering the facility. The medical personnel appears to be most concerned about my health care situation.
The staff was very pleasant - Dr. Janet Weinburger was so understanding and sweet. Kudos to this location for being such professionals in the care of others.
The ease and quickness of getting in and being seen without an appointment. The doctor did a good job and was easy to talk to.
The service was great they were very helpful to my son injury. Show a great amount of support and passion
What a relief to go here when I was feeling so poorly. My provider, and all the staff, was so incredibly friendly and sympathetic, while being very professional! I can’t say enough good things about it! Thank you Novant, for such a great place!!
I’m from Canada and went here today to get a COVID test done, the staff couldn’t make me feel more comfortable! Super friendly, welcoming and professional! AndI thought Canadians were nice!
The Receptionist , was great for it to be my first time, BUT that cna was very rude, disrespectful I would never want service from her again, Janet Weinberger was also wonderful she took her time explaining to me that I had 2 ear infections, but she had to exam me sitting on the back chairs because the cna wouldnt let me sit on the examination table wen I came in
Staff were compassionate and caring. Clean facility, time convenience.
Its supposed to be a urgent care but it takes about as long for them to see you in the emergency room. I hated when you changed over, cause the service is not that good anymore. They use to call you to see to if you was doing any better later on that day but now they dont.
I just want to know why they have patients names on a big flat screen tv in the waiting room. This is not a restaurant that needs to display your name and wait time. This is a medical facility that needs to abide by HIPAA laws. It’s a state of the art facility that I’m sure both Novant and Go Health funded a lot of money into. But that tv with patients names on it is just ridiculous and unnecessary. 🙄
I didnt have an appointment and was treated quickly. Staff professional, kind, and got me out if there with proper medication.
Everything about my experience was seamless, from the initial scheduling to the on-time appt. Provider was very friendly, even at the end of what I know had been a long day for her.
The ladies at the front desk checking me in were very courteous and friendly. Dr. Parker was very informative and compassionate.
Dr. Parker cares about the well being of her patients.
Set up time to be there, no waiting hours to see a doctor. I would like to say thankyou for the superior service. They make you feel very comfortable and you dont find that much anymore. Thankyou Novant Health!!!
Everything from confirming identity to how kind staff was to us and our child. Very good/quick experience!
My husband came here with his knee injured, and they didnt do any xrays or tests. They prescribed aleve, and told him it would be better in a couple of days. However he still cant walk, and has to work tomorrow. Thanks for nothing!
Super fast and courteous, called to let them know I could not get an appointment and they worked me in even on the holiday! The provider that swabbed me was wonderful and caring!
Terrible, unprofessional, rude, and obviously her scholarly didn’t help her learn manners or how to treat sick people, the Female Physician spoke loudly in front of other patients without giving any privacy and you can forget sympathy!
The Novant EOH collaboration is pretty seamless. Quick in and out with results sent directly to Novant EOH and my manager. I think this is a great service.
Excellent care staff so gentle caring and patient. Dr Keith Pochick is top of the line medical professional. He has a wonderful chairside manner. I recommend this urgent care to everyone.
Thank you for getting me in for my test, the entire staff that I dealt with was top notch abs thats coming from a dual transplant patient who deals with doctors a minimal of 1 every 3 months. Thank you for your service
Super friendly staff, in and out in less than an hour, very helpful and truly listened.
Only one customer seen at a time. Wont answer the phone at all. I called 12 times today and nobody answered once!
The provider was awesome, it was a female physician that used to work in the ER. She answered all my questions and was thorough.
The provider Lindsey was great, answered any questions that I had and very helpful! The Medical Assistant was very kind and caring.
It was nice and clean and the place was quiet the staff was friendly I like doing everything on line when you check in
It was very fast. They do their best. I also know that no always it’s going to be fast. The remarkable care it’s what matters
This is the worst urgent care I have ever been to In my life the nurses had attitude and one of them got angry with my son over a door and tryed to tell me I was being seen for nothing but new symptoms were approaching will never come back.
Been here since 1045. Sherry is not a pleasant person. Ask how much longer and she said do you want me to work on it or not. Glad I have a primary care physician. Just need a covid test
Won Jin and Aneyah were professional and handled my concerns quickly. I was nervous upon visiting, but that changed soon after. Louis and Won Gin...thanks for reaching out to me!
I was seen quickly and felt like the PA and others in the clinic wanted to make sure I was well taken care of.
I feel like the person that I saw had a problem with people of color. She act like she was scared to come close to me and stood back to look at the bite. I will never come back to them again.
Extremely quick service, gentle and helpful staff, kind staff, comfy beds, warm blankets, adjustable bed, frequent updates, no problems with a lot of questions
I was treated well by staff and the Doctor showed Great concern for my well-being! I would definitely recommend!
I was given great care there by the nurse and the PA Mr Patrick. I was having difficulty breathing and felt rescued by them.
Emily was the nicest and most thorough Xray Tech Ive ever seen!! I look forward to seeing her at the new location! Thank you Emily
The staff & physician understood my pain. I was treated very well and they listened to what my problem was.
Walk-in; Had to wait over 5 hours, never got to see a physician. It would be better to just get rid of walk-ins since its almost impossible to get in without an appointment.
HORRIBLE. Staff are rude. My PA WAS INCOMPETENT and said I didnt have a prescription that I know I have. This place used to be great. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT EVER GO HERE.
I made appointment and was treated on time. The staff was nice and professional. Quick appointment with great advice.
This place is the worst I have ever seen my lower back is killing me cant even sit down and they telling me to go somewhere else I highly recommend that people dont go there you dont turn people around at the door I dont know that the there is a doctors code to treat people regardless
Thank you for the professional and excellent service you provided. I felt you were actually concerned about my well being as a patient. I will definitely recommend this faculty to others.
They treat me really good and the service was quick. They were nice and rooms were very clean.
Took my husband here tonight for an eye injury. The service was so fast and once we got home he raved on how amazing the staff was! Thank you guys so much for all you do.
Very good customer service and fast
Was told at 245 that they would not be able to see me before 5pm because there were too many people. They didn’t even ask what was wrong or anything. They were rude and gave me the impression that they didn’t want to do their job!
Remarkable care as always. Reliable Providers.
Excellent, experienced nurs
This is not the Novant urgent care you knew they are now Go Health and provide the worst service that I have ever experienced by a healthcare provider. I advise going to any length to avoid this place.
Excellent service and caring Doctor. Got me feeling better while I was sick on vacation
I thought Novant Go Health was a clean nice facility staffed with competent and thoughtful people.
It was a good experience. My first time visiting this facility. The people were very friendly.
I never felt so offended. The lady at front desk very short hair was very rude and no one answer the phone.
Front desk people are very rude I was turned away when having a reaction to tetanus but a nurse overheard and started helping me, thankful for her because the front desk people told me there was nothing they could do to help I won’t be coming there anymore
The receptionist was not friendly at all.
Got me in just before my actual appointment time and treatment was professional and kind.
Great customer service! The doctor did a really good job at explaining. My experience was great 👍
Very nice and clean facility. Had a really nice staff and got me out quickly...
Very efficient... knowledgeable... personable... and took time to discuss rather than rushing us out the door, even though it was closing time! Thank you
It was an awesome experience! Our visit was quick, safe, and simple. Thank you.
Dorothy and the provider Jennifer both went above and beyond, answering all questions and showing great empathy.
STAY AWAY FROM NOVANT!! They charge you in full, yet then claim you owe them more and threaten you with collections even though you dont owe ANYTHING
I cant get no one to answer the phone! I would leave a message if the mailbox wasnt full! Need to ask a few questions before I come in. But how in the hell can I ask a question if no one will answer the phone. I have been calling for 30 minutes now!😡🤬
This place has gone so far down hill it’s ridiculous my husband waited over an hour and still hadn’t been seen, when there was only two people in front of him when asked why they said that they didn’t have anybody to come into work, the place is beyond disgusting and nobody knows their job or how to do it . Please save your self and go somewhere else!!! This is not how you run a medical practice!
Very professional and efficient!! During these challenging times, it is nice to be taken care of in a safe manner with prompt results.
Staff were professional, well informed and helpful. Service was quick and follow up instructions clear.
Everyone was nice from check in to check out. I was seen in a timely manner. Thanks for the Remarkable care !! 💜💜💜💜
They kept me calm and gave good instructions for follow up. I am so glad they were there on a Sunday afternoon.
This is the best urgent care Ive been to! They are professional and friendly and care for the whole person.
No Wait…I got right in & got what I needed to Get Better❤️🩹TYSM💞🥰
My daughter needed to be seen and there was no one I mean no one in the building but us and they totally said it would be one hour before they would see her...WOW STAFF WAS SITTING THERE CHILLING! SMH!
Quick service, nomatter of appt set or walk in. Clean and quite space. Good service.
The staff were warm and responsive...I was kind of panicked and they were professional, efficient and warm and friendly.
This was a very great experience! Staff was great, especially Kelly, I will definitely recommend to Emily B
Quick and easy COVID swab. Dr. Parks, Dr. Janet W, Joe & Sherry was great.
The staff was very professional. I didn’t have to wait a long time. I’m very please with the service.
Minimum wait, very professional, taking their time.
I was very satisfied with my treatment experience. Thanks to all the staff members.
No one is picking up the phone at all. The voicemail box is full as well, and when I went by and tried to physically ask for help no one came to the door. Not sure how I’m supposed to use a phone number to call and set everything up if no one will pick up and the voicemail box is full.
