Dr. DeMattina is a very humble person. He treats everyone with respect and dignity. We lost hope when we got there, but after hearing our story having tried 2 IVF circle that failed, he gave us hope. And now we are expecting to the glory of God.I will encourage looking to build family and children to go to Dominion and you shall surely celebrate.
Dominion has been a blessing 2 times over for my family in making our dreams come true . Dr Kay, Dr. DiMattina helped us add to our family. The wonderful nursing staff made my wife and I both feel comfortable. Shout outs to Holli, Nichol , Stephanie, Sylvia and I apologize if I left anyone out all were amazing. We also thank the Embryology Staff. Gods willing we will be back for baby number 3 . Thank you and we will miss you all.
I can’t say enough good things about Dominion Fertility. From the very beginning when I was calling different providers to find out more about what my journey might look like, Dominion was the right fit from my first conversation. It wasn’t just about having my questions answered, it was also about the compassion and care that they provided. Everyone was phenomenal— however, Blanca, Lisa, Mary and, of course, Dr. D are my people
Do your research and find a facility that respects and values you as a patient. We found success here only with Dr. John Gordon and once he left, Dr. D was the cause of losing our embryos, with no remorse. Thank God we followed Dr. Gordon to TN and had another baby. We will never recommend Dominion now that Dr. Gordon is gone.
The scheduling is a gross display of incompetence. The appointment schedulers don’t know what is available where and sent me to the Bethesda office despite me telling her I live by the Arlington office. She said the service I needed was not offered in Arlington. When I arrived in Bethesda they told me my appointment was now in Arlington. An hour and a half wasted driving and the desk staff indicated this is not an uncommon situation
This facility up charges and does not communicate with the patients clearly. If a problem arises the service is poor.I am a current patient here and do not believe that I will be successful in my journey to motherhood. This is not a place is you have complications like endometriosis and fibroids. I highly recommend that you do not service this place if you are African American. The facility is nice but after Dr. Saranjari, I know that it is wise to seek fertility treatment from a physician who knows more and or a clinic that has more diversity.Dr. Saranjari read the wrong report twice.Dr. Saranjari told me she couldnt get any eggs after reading my op report and forgot that I had already had them pulled.Dr. Saranjari cancelled my treatment and told me to call her back but left for a two week vacation. I have not heard from her yet, and we are in the 4th week and counting. I called twice and she has not returned my call. I dont know what the next steps are.Dr. Saranjari was visibly upset when my partner and I refused extra testing for a surrogate because we couldnt afford one and didnt want one and I was told that if my body couldnt conceive that she wasnt going to let me store my embryos there, making me feel that I was putting the clinic at risk.A second opinion physician let me know that the testing can still be done after the embryos are made with my partner and I, if we choose a surrogate later. There was no concern from her about your well being in general. In the past year she has cancelled two ERA cycles and there is no advice about what to do with the leftover medicine or what your body goes through when stopping hormones mid cycle.Dr. Saranjari did not communicate about how to solve the problem of fluid in the uterine cavity and started another ERA cycle. The billing was often not correct due to the communication from this physician.I was never told when my eggs arrived and had to send an email asking if they got there. The physician who was working on making my embryos was fired or quit and the communication stopped for weeks, despite my attempts to find out what was happening. (Brad)She is the medical director. She seemed to be a nice person but the treatment here is not what I expected. My next steps are to file a complaint with the clinic and then maybe unfortunately with that state depending on the response.I expressed to the facility that I feel not welcome here and they were so sweet and reassuring. I was told they would discreetly talk to the doctor and reassured me that I wasnt forgotten. The support staff here is great.Unfortunately, because the physician is MIA even after that conversation, and my phone call on the 26th of July trying to reach the doctor. I have come to the conclusion that what is happening to me is medical discrimination, bias or just carelessness.I dont trust this place.
Ive been thinking of egg freezing for years. Scared of the unknown for equally as long. Being older and single, all I could think of is whether Id ever have a life partner and have the family I always dreamed of. Turning 36 it was now or never.I contacted Domination Fertility because I liked their website. It drew me in as informative and caring. The staff is just the same. Doctor DiMattina was and confident in his ability to help me. My nurse Mariana calmly walked me through every phase. I was able to text her with my concerns, shes always so friendly and willing to help. The start of injections was super intimidating. The will this work had me on edge. Mariana set me up for success. At the end of it all the sticks, pokes, and hope I did it rights we retrieved 20 mature eggs. I was stunned, I didnt expect that number at all. Retrieval day was a breeze, the staff was SO supportive, understanding, and kind. There was some discomfort and cramping, but nowhere near as bad as I let my mind worry it would be. Knowing how many eggs were retrieved made the recovery worth it too. I made the right decision with Dominion Fertility. After a post retrieval consult and discussion with Dr DiMattina, of our family planning goals, were going to do one more cycle. This next time, itll be with excitement.
I want to advise any woman and family to please rethink and pray hard about who you pick for a fertility doctor or office. My obgyn who is very compassionate with bedside manners recommended Dominion Fertility to me, assuring me that they are not like other “money-hungry fertility clinics”. Keep in mind to anyone reading this that I have been to other fertility clinics with no heartfelt sympathy, just another financial gain. I was blindsided by Dominion. I was very clear that I was not going to proceed with any treatment if Dominion Fertility was not in my insurance network.A lady I spoke with I believe front desk at my initial call said I would have to pay a $100 deposit while they checked my insurance. I agreed and paid. With confidence, they would take my insurance. A few days prior I received an email that my insurance was in the network and that the deposit would go towards my co-pay. My husband and I had our first telehealth appointment, and due to the fact, we received an email that they take our insurance the deposit when to our co-pay payment. When I received a bill in the mail from Dominion, I immediately called Dominion and told them about the bill. I was confused because I was told that the testing I had done thus far was covered under my insurance. When I spoke to a woman, she concurred with what I said and also stated she was confused. The financial office told me to call my insurance they gave me several verifications and a person they spoke to. The insurance company stated that was not true. They informed the fertility clinic that the doctor was not in the network. I was confused so I called back the financial department. The financial office (I do not want to mention a name) I trusted would rectify this as they stated. You (the representative I was assigned to as my financial advisor) should not have behaved as though you were furious because the insurance company lied to me after you stated that Dominion Fertility and the Doctor were in my network according to what you said the insurance company told you during your verification process. You stated you would take care of this case and that someone at my insurance company dropped the ball and if anything, they should be responsible, and I agreed with you.I even sent a message to the coordinator that was assigned to me to be my direct contact telling her that until this is resolved I would not be able to come in. Usually, she is quick to respond with kindness through the portal message. Not this time crickets, she did not reply. She could have acknowledged the message and said she understood or something. Before this investigation was brought on by their financial office, I would miss a day or not reach out the time. I was supposed to receive a message from my s coordinator. Dominion Fertility is responsible for telling me the wrong information. They supposedly did the verification and informed me that I was qualified in actuality you are out of my network. They proceeded to say they would continue the investigation and call me back. No one did so I was proactive and called the office back. They said they haven’t heard anything back yet. Someone said they would call back and never did. I waited for a callback but guess what, no one called me back again. My financial advisor sent me a message via the patient portal stating that the insurance company reached back out to her and told her that there’s no voice record of any conversation between her and the representative at my insurance company giving approval that Dominion Fertility was in the network.Keep in mind all conversations were done via telephone. Can you believe this after all that I was told I should do an appeal I was told, I was covered. How is this? My fault. No woman or man or family should go through this when seeking “medical help”. I pray that anyone seeking the fruit of the womb their day shall come soon with peace.
I was going to go to them, when one of my friends who had experience with them told me the worst stories about them. She told that the nursing staff and financial staff is ver rude. Their communication is extremely bad. They didn’t communicate properly and didn’t give timely instructions during the cycles and we lost three eggs. They didn’t send any email and lied that they sent it. When I told them that I didn’t receive any. Then they argued with me that why didn’t you see the portals. We had no idea about their portal. Also, Dr. Kay is the most rudest doctor. They falsely billed and we lost thirty thousands dollars. STAY AWAY FROM THESE ROBBERS.
My husband I went to Dominion after struggling with some fertility issues and multiple miscarriages. We couldnt have made a better choice! You can tell that the staff really care about their patients and make you feel at ease. At the beginning of the process, we were feeling a bit overwhelmed, but the doctors were understanding and great at explaining each step to us along the way. We now have a healthy baby boy and we could not be more happy and grateful to Dominion Fertility!!
My husband and I were thrilled with Dr. DiMattina and the team at Dominion. We had previously been at another clinic where we felt like a number and we immediately knew Dominion was different. From our first appointment, Dr. D listened to our concerns, desires and worked with us to create a plan that was suited for our family. When we weren’t immediately successful, Dr. D did extensive testing and made sure we tailored our protocol to get the best results (which ended in a pregnancy!). The team of nurses was always so kind and compassionate. Even though I’m glad to not be going to the office all the time, I’ll miss everyone there and can’t wait to take our baby to meet them all!
Im so thankful for the caring staff at Dominion Fertility the nurses are angels. Just completed my procedure to freeze my eggs and had great results. I felt very comfortable with the entire process. I originally went to another practice, then decided to get a second option at Dominion Fertility - Im glad I did! Dr. Sarajari was my main doctor but I saw the other two physicians and they had great bedside manners. You never think you would have to seek this type of service but when you do having people that support you makes the difference!!!
Awful experience. Communication is terrible! We couldn’t get clear pricing and when we would try to call or email the financial staff we wouldn’t get a response for weeks. The nursing staff doesn’t respond in a timely manner and we’re not able to provide the answers we needed. Received an incorrect diagnosis based on the Dr. Kay’s hunch without an actual review of the lab work. Dr. Kay also belittles patients when asking questions. Nurses were extremely rude and pulled incorrect lab work results then accused me of getting the wrong labs done (which is impossible since they wrote the orders) before realizing the lab work they pulled was from 3 years prior.Overall worst experience at a medical facility let alone a practice that is supposed to help through an already difficult situation.Would never recommend Dominion. It’s clear they don’t care about their patients, just their bottom line. Reached out multiple times to discuss my issues and I just got a canned response. No additional effort made to right any of it.
We were very happy working with Dominion and Dr. D. From the beginning consultation to picking a donor to our successful outcome, we did not feel like we were one of many. We felt like it was a personal experience and we were walked through every step of the process. This included Natalie calling us after 6 oclock on a Friday with news about our donor! We would recommend Dominion Fertility to everyone!
They are definitely the best, especially Dr. Michael Dimattina, that if it werent for him, and God my dream wouldnt have come true. I thank the staff, especially Blanquita García for accompanying me in the wonderful process. Thank you Dominion❤️🙏🏻
Started our journey summer of 21 and just had our baby girl 2/7/23!!! Dr.Dimattina and his staff were amazing through the whole process and he said he had a 75% success rate in 22! We only ended up with 1 embryo after the 1st egg retrieval, so we opted do try again since we wanted more then one kid. We are already ready and will start the process again one 1 year from now. couldn’t be happier with him and his team. It worked 1st time, what else can I say
We absolutely love the staff at Dominion Fertility Arlington, especially my IVF Nurse Holli Simon and Dr. Kay! My husband and I started going to Dominion Fertility in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. Holli and Dr. Kay both were a huge support and they made feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Also, they both were very responsive. If Holli wasnt available, she made sure that I knew who her back-up was. When the IVF treatment did not work for my husband and I, they encouraged us. God granted us a miracle and we were able to get pregnant on our own and we just had our baby in June. We kept Holli updated with our pregnancy journey. You want to be able to meet someone like her who is a source of encouragement inside and outside of the office. We had previously went to Shady Grove Fertility, and did not have have good experience. We are so glad that we found Dominion Fertility Arlington. My husband and I would definitely recommend Dominion Fertility Arlington for anyone who is seeking fertility treatment.
I had a very challenging experience here. I paid for the all-inclusive fertility assessment, and was surprised when the doctor would not give me my blood test results (he would only read it out loud over the phone). Then, I was hit with a Labcorp bill - I essentially paid for a blood test that was withheld from me. I tried several times to resolve this with the office and was ignored. Overall, my sense is that this is a highly commercial operation that appears to prioritize sales tactics over client experience.
This review compares my experience at Dominion Fertility in Arlington/Bethesda to my experience at Spring Fertility in San Francisco, CA. I froze my eggs for the first time with Dominion, and then a few months later when I moved to CA, I did another cycle with Spring Fertility.Everyone at dominion fertility is *nice*, but I felt anxious and scattered throughout my entire cycle. Dealing with Dominion felt like a full-time job on top of my full-time job. My experience at Spring was 100000x better, and I will never go back to Dominion. In terms of informing me about my shots and the complex schedule pre-extraction; it was almost like they expected me to know exactly what was happening and exactly what to do (when this process is VERY foreign to anyone who has never experienced it before). They showed me how to do the shots, but resources after-the-fact felt scattered and made everything more stressful. It felt like pulling teeth to actually understand what was going on and understand what my next steps were in the fertility journey. They definitely tried with all the hand outs and the in person demo, but it was overall just very disorganized. On the other hand, when I worked with Spring Fertility, they had meetings and webinars and videos, all accessed in the same place–had a phone number I could constantly call and ask questions to the doctors team. It just felt very together, and I learned scientific aspects of the egg freezing process that were so helpful to know–aspects of the process that Dominion was not transparent about. At one point I left in the middle of an appointment after giving blood, because the nurse told me I was done. And right as I got home after the appointment, the doctor called and said that they were waiting for me to come in for the next part of my appointment. This was extremely frustrating, and I had to drive all the way back. At Spring, all appointments were extremely streamlined and I felt like they guided me / held my hand through everything.Dominion was extremely disorganized throughout the entire process in terms of billing. I had to constantly connect Dominion fertility and my insurance provider (Progyny) to correct billing mishaps and errors on Dominions side. 6 months later Im still receiving bills from the anesthesiology company, when my insurance provider already paid Dominion. When I worked with Spring, I had no contact with my insurance provider the whole time and everything was completely seamless.I also felt EXTREMELY drugged out after my procedure. My body was was very sore, and I had a brain hang over from all the drugs they gave me for days. I also had to call and ask questions about various symptoms that they never informed me would happen. With Spring, I had my surgery in the morning and I was working that same afternoon. They called me every day for the next couple days to make sure everything was okay. Physical and mental symptoms were considerably less acute at Spring, and I didnt feel nearly as drugged out.I also feel like Dominion didnt make an effort to really educate me on what was happening to my body at each step of the process, which was very disconcerting. I felt like I kept getting passed to different people for different things–and the calendar / schedule was all felt very confusing. At Spring Fertility, they were wonderfully transparent and everything was streamlined and very informative.Overall, my experience between the two fertility clinics was NIGHT AND DAY. I would not go back to Dominion Fertility.
I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Susan Sarajari out of the Bethesda office, and I received IVF treatment to achieve 2 pregnancies. I tried several Fertility clinics in the local area before finding Dominion Fertility during a Google search. Dr. Sarajari, her Nursing/Office staff are a well oiled machine. They work well together, they all have excellent bedside manner and they are serious about growing your family. I have two beautiful daughters to confirm the attentive and specialized care that I received during my fertility journey. Thanks to Dr. Sarajari and the entire Dominion staff for bringing true joy into life.
I highly recommend Dominion Fertility to anyone needing fertility support. I wouldn’t wish the IVF experience on anyone, since as a general rule the whole reason for needing it sucks. It’s time consuming, expensive, deeply personal yet clinical, emotional (and at times heartbreaking) all at the same time. But if you need help in that area look to Dr Dimattina and his team. I consider the doctors and staff at Dominion an extension of my family since they helped me through the highs and lows of whole long process.Dr D made everything possible. We always had a barrage of questions and he was always ready to explain the process and the statistics and options to us as we waded into the overwhelming world of IVF. Going through IVFin two clusters revealed slightly different processes, and I really enjoyed hearing about the latest cutting edge research he was constantly incorporating like more accurate tests and knowledge that could increase chances of success (yay science). We found him extremely personable and easy to work with, and same with the other nurses and staff. On locations, I bounced between two depending on where I lived at the time and the appt type, starting mostly in Arlington when I lived closer to later mostly the Fair Oaks office. The Arlington office is much bigger so has the main procedures with typical Arlington traffic and metered street parking while the Fair Oaks site I went to for a lot of checkups which was convenient and had free parking.
Dr. D and his staff are truly doing God’s work. We started at Shady Grove and just didn’t feel comfortable there, kinda felt like we were buying a car, and they wanted to see what we could afford. I found Dominion online and immediately Knew this was a different kind of place. We met Dr. D at the Bethesda office, and what a difference from the SGF Doctor. He was kind, understanding, and extremely patient, as my wife is a serious question asker. Dr. D was awesome. He didn’t sugarcoat the challenges we faced, but gave us the best options for the ultimate goal. The staff was awesome at both Bethesda and Arlington. These are all people that are happy to be at work. I actually asked a staff member I became friendly about her job, and she told me that Dr. D took really good care of them, and it was like a family. It definitely showed. We were blessed with a healthy baby boy, and will be eternally grateful to Dr. D and all the staff at Dominion Fertility. In our first appointment my wife kept pressing Dr. D on his ability to select the gender, in a humorous, exasperated moment he said, “ Wanda, I am not God”. No, Dr. D you are not God, but you are doing God’s work! This is an awesome place, filled with amazing, caring people. Chris C
Dr. Dimatina and his staff are wonderful. My husband and I went through IVF, which was a rough road for us, but the staff at Dominion fertility stood by us and we now have our precious little boy. We tried Shady Grove first, but every time we walked in they immediately asked for a payment without even greeting us. After about the third time, we had enough and searched for another fertility clinic. That’s when we found Dominion Fertility. The whole infertility thing is emotional enough, so why not go to a clinic that understands and has compassion instead of making you feel like just another number. We would recommend Dominion Fertility to anyone in search of a fertility clinic.
Im sad to write this post. We are at the stage to start our Natural IVF process but things were put on hold due to Covid-19. Now we are returning and need to update the required test before meeting with the Dr. and starting the IVF process. Why are they trying to restart the entire process as if we are New Clients? We are already $$$$ into the process and we selected Dominion eventhough our insurance covers 90% at Shadygrove. Not only did they update there system and didnt have our records in the system...When we requested for the Nurse to contact us we recieved a message in the portal restating the fee. WHAT IN THE WORLD.....Are you seriously dismissing our request? The staff we met prior to COVID-19 is not the team we sre dealing with now.
I had scheduled a consultation two weeks in advance, and unfortunately, I received a message just 45 minutes before my appointment stating that there was an additional fee to pay, which turned out to be quite significant. Although they claimed to have sent me a prior message, I couldnt find any such communication.
Dr. Gordon and everyone at Dominion Fertility are absolutely amazing! Every person I interacted with - from billing, front desk, nurses to doctors - at this practice were so genuinely kind and care about all their patients. The front desk ladies are the BEST - genuinely going to miss chatting with those ladies!I was referred to Dr. Gordon - although Ive also heard amazing things about Dr. DiMattina. Dr. Gordon is simply wonderful. He gives you an no-nonsense assessment of his thoughts but is also open to other opinions. Dr. Gordon always took time to sit down and clearly explain everything to my husband and I despite being absurdly busy.Im so sad to not be going to this office regularly but Dr. Gordon and his staff did their job and were now expecting. Thank you DF!
Miracle workers!! Our beautiful baby girl is a reminder that Dr. Dimatina and the Dominion Fertility team made this dream a reality. The process was explained to me in a compassionate, yet clear and honest way. Dr. Dimatina let me made the decision I though it was best for our family. Unlike other fertility clinics like Shaddy Grove, every scheduled follow up and procedure was administered by a Doctor. This was HUGE for me because I always felt I was dealing with some of the best professionals in this field and they were there to support me every step of the way.
Very disappointed with the service, my wife and I originally started going to the Fairoaks office but, we ended up changing our home office to the Arlington office because the service at Fairoaks was horrible. However things didnt get any better... We explained our bad experience to the finance person and we were assured that our experience would be top notch. With the exception of our fertility doctor and a couple members of their nursing staff, the staff were rude and showed poor customer service. We expected we would receive excellent customer service since this is a very expensive procedure and having to go thru IVF is an emotional journey. Unfortunately the disappointment was greater than the outcome.
Dr. Michael DiMattina from Dominion Fertility is a God sent. He is a subject matter expert in this field. I initially went for a consultation regarding freezing my eggs (medical term cryopreservation). Due to work and school, I wanted to postpone pregnancy for a later date and I didn’t want to feel the pressure of my biological clock ticking. Plus at that time, i was just dating, having fun...lots of fun, and definitely didn’t want to make a mistake of mating with someone who was not serious about family or marriage. Dr. DiMattina took his time to educate me about the cryopreservation process and even gave me some reading material. He provided me with the statistics of a successful pregnancy done from cryopreservation. He even shared several success stories which made me realize he was very proud and confident of his work. The man is simply too smart for his own good. Additionally, he is genuine, kind, and caring as he helps others with fertility needs. Dr. DiMattina was also extremely honest, didn’t sugar code anything, and advised me the possibility of the cryopreservation process like any other procedure is not 100% guaranteed. I admired his honesty and bombarded him with additional questions. After clarifying many of my questions, Dr. DiMattina recommended I go forward with the process. I decided to trust him and his confidence in the process so we moved forward. Again, he explained to me everything in detail to ensure i was comfortable with my decision. The cryopreservation was a success! My eggs were stored and ready to be used for a later pregnancy. Well....time passed and at 43, yes at 43, I found the man of my dreams, got married, and was ready to start a family. I went back to see Dr. DiMattina and through additional procedures, he thawed my eggs and fertilized them via my husband’s sperm. After additional testing, my eggs resulted in two healthy embryos. I wanted both embryos to be transferred to my uterus but Dr. DiMattina advised he didn’t want to risk my chances of an unsuccessful outcome by utilizing both at once. Once again, I trusted him and only one was transferred. Nine months later, yes, a beautiful, healthy baby girl! And we still have one embryo left which we will go back to retrieve. Yes, Dr. D we will be back! We can’t thank you enough. We will forever be grateful!I also want to acknowledge his wonderful staff and nurses especially Holli Simon. She was extremely genuine, kind and caring during my entire process. She was very professional and always ensured i had all my questions answered. She always returned my calls and emails promptly. Dr. DiMattina and the entire Dominion Fertility staff thank you for giving us the best gift....the GIFT of LIFE!
This review is to warn those considering Dominon Fertility of the kind of questions they may have, while receiving treatment from one of their many doctors. To that note, some of their doctors are not listed, as they are not partners of the clinic and are only temporary doctors in residency there. In particular, my wife had a significantly horrible experience at the hands of one of these non-partner doctors (Dr. Roura). If possible --- avoid Dr. Roura AT ALL COSTS. From our experience, he was inexperienced and the partner doctors on call during his treatment do not fully oversee his medical care. For those whom are considering treatment with Dominion, there are some questions you should consider...Ask my wife how DOCTOR MAJOR Kay Waud oversaw the termination of her eggs in her latest stimulated IVF cycle. Ask my wife who was then later belittled by Dr MAJ KAY WAUD in her Fairfax office as not understanding why Dominion Fertility decided to TRUNCATE her scheduled egg-growth cycle below the standard timeline that resulted in undeveloped eggs that were immediately destroyed. Dominion Fertilitys reasoning for aborting the growth cycle was that they wanted to try to extract an egg from an Adnexal Mass and a DEAD (has not produced an egg in 3 cycles) Follicle. They did this to allow potentially SIX (6) eggs to be terminated via the trigger shot, arresting their development in an unviable state.Ask Dr MAJ KAY WAUD why my wife still hasnt been told how long she was under anesthesia (MISSING FROM MEDICAL RECORDS) -- where she was in the egg retrieval room for THREE (3) HOURS and is CONTINUING TO BE IN PAIN.Ask Dr MAJ KAY WAUD why she IGNORED my wifes begging and pleading to re-consider the shortening of the egg growth cycle - she begged that this is not enough time.Ask Dr MAJ KAY WAUD if she has any respect for women that come from developing countries (VIETNAM). My wife consistently felt ignored and treated as if she did not understand anything going on.3 Cycles -- 2 Doctors -- Dr MAJ KAY WAUD was the ABSOLUTE WORST.MY WIFE IS STILL IN PAINMore details to come.... we are still receiving medical care and advice from another practice -- we are still reviewing medical records. More details to follow...We are still stunned and shocked by our latest experience at Dominion Fertility. I pray my wife will make a full recovery.
Dominion Fertility is great! Dr. Peyson did my very first transfer and I got pregnant right away although I had a miscarriage. Dr. DiMattina has always been my doctor however, Dr. Peyton substituted for him to do my first transfer. Dr. DiMattina did the next two transfers and I didnt get pregnant at all. I dont know why all my numbers where good and everything was in place well. However, on my last try my embryo was one more la and one 5 day blastocyst. That was all I had left! I did two fresh cycles (one was first with Dr. Peyson) and 1 frozen. That was all my insurance at the time would allow. Its so very discouraging to spend so much money and have no luck whatsoever bet this is a great facility with a great team. All the nurses are great and doctors are great. Although, some may feel that Dr. DiMattina comes off as a little intimidating he really is a very friendly, educated, caring doctor.
Dr. D is my wonderful doctor, he always gives me the best recommendation, I’m so greatly impressed by his experience and kindness. I built my family thanks to his wonderful job. I’m very happy to have know him.
I am giving this place 5 stars bc we successfully had a child through IVF.I would give it 3 stars for the experience in “the room”. There was a leather seat, full counter width mirror, toilet, tv/vcr and lotion. As a male in this scenario I had to go to “the room” multiple times. It had a circa ‘87 feel to the entire place, and the material hadn’t been updated since it was opened. (Btw whose job was it to buy 20+ porno mags at one time - wonder how that went down). There was also a big sign that read “if you take materials your account will be charged” - so I am guessing that happened previously that someone wanted a bunch of used pornos? Anyway, you had to check in at the front desk, sit in a waiting area before a nurse (mostly female) called you. You then were taken to the room, show Id, and given a tutorial on how to use the walkitalki for when you were...... finished. I never did use the lotions but I should have swiped one for home. During the session I usually just opened the drawer and peaked at the sampling. Trying ever so gingerly to turn pages without touching the stuck together pages. Overall, better if this a little nicer and maybe a cleaner / not used 20 times a day / 200 times a year / 30 year room. Hope their new facility’s a little nicer.
This process is very tough and Im so happy I came to Dominion Fertility, there were days that I felt that I couldnt continue but the nurses kept my spirits-up and now Im 18 weeks pregnant. Thank you Dr. Sarajari and staff. God bless you.
These people do not care about Covid health and safety. I saw at least 8 different employees without masks on, one of them was even eating as they walked through the halls.I asked two different employees who were helping me to please ask the others to wear masks because Ive lost family members to Covid. They pretended to care and did nothing.Im never going back there without a hazmat suit or a vaccine.
Dr. Sarajari was professional and caring. Some doctors forget the second part. The whole staff are caring, which is important as you see them just as much.We were successful and were so thankful n blessed.
The front desk were rude and always had an attitude. This facility only cares about the money and not necessarily the patient. Its all about the money with this place, no compassion or sympathy and they never even cared to follow up with my partner and I after spending thousands of dollars in their facility.
Most wonderful experience working with Dominion Fertility. The most caring doctors and nurses that are with you every step of the way. Can’t recommend them enough!!
Heinous experience. Provided our insurance, they lost it. Said they went ahead and processed us as self pay and then sent us to collections so that they didnt have to bother with due diligence. Avoid this practice at all costs. There are better and more ethical offices out there.
Horrible experience. I initially paid for 2 cycles but decided not to continue with the 2nd one because the customer service is beyond unsatisfactory. From the front desk staff to some or the nurses and especially the billing department. The only positive was my ivf doctor. I would not recommend.
This is the business place, they just want to take your money
Really nice staff but the wait times are long
Worst, experience of my life!
Just.. no.
Well, Im usually in the process, I still cant figure out anything else, but I can say that the doctor who is carrying out my fertilization process is very excellent and very kind, as well as the nurses and the staff who answer the calls. They are very kind in answering the phone and text messages, I am still in the process and my husband and I hope in God that everything will turn out well with the help of Dio and Dr. Tamar Matitashvili
