Professional, friendly, caring, and helpful staff. Very clean. They are my go-to if I am unable to see my physician quickly. EDIT: I had to go back because I wasn’t responding to the prescribed medication and saw a different provider. The ratchet counter staff were unprofessional and unenthused, did not seem happy to be there. Also, I ended up seeing a specialist, and both providers I had seen here misdiagnosed my rash as fungal, when it was just contact dermatitis. I’m glad the providers encouraged me to see the specialist, and I know mistakes do happen, but I just find it odd that the both providers at this location were very definitive with their diagnosis, which ended up being wrong. 🤦🏻♀️ hence I changed my review from 5 stars to 4.
- staff were friendly and helpful at the front desk.- the doctors were ok, pretty knowledgeable and professional. They said i didnt have COVID but then two days later I tested positive for it at the ER when going in due to being short of breath. But the ER told me that when I got tested my body didnt have enough of the virus at the time to be detected.- plenty of parking.- prices for medical issues are always high no matter where you go. Which is a problem that needs fixed in this country in general.- over not a bad visit.
I have always had a good experience at this location. Free parking, friendly staff, easy check-in that can de done ahead of time. In my most recent visit the Doctor took the time to explain very clearly what the condition was and what was causing it. This was very much appreciated.
Even though they didn’t have the necessary equipment to help my daughter- the nurse practitioner saw us immediately and did his best to help (very gently). Once it became clear we needed to go to the ER - they told us where to go and were very helpful (didn’t even charge us)Really nice to see a place that has such great care and great values :)
Dr Burke & his medical assistant, Caroline, provided exceptional professional treatment. I received methodical, compassionate care without feeling rushed or insignificant. Despite my illness, I left feeling that my symptoms had been accurately diagnosed & that the treatment plan that Dr Burke prescribed would yield healthy results for me. I highly recommend this Inova location!
I was greeted with a welcoming salutation. The receptionist walk me through the process and paperwork. The nurse was pleasant and knowledgeable. A the Dr was thorough in her examination. In and out with suck efficiency.
False advertising! They promote and come up in searches as having x-ray capabilities. They do have equipment, but no techs available to operate. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem. The staff were nice and tried to be as helpful as possible and referred me to an outpatient imaging center. Where I had to wait for another two hours.
Quick and painless! I was hesitant to take my son to an Urgent Care, but we were in and out in less than 30 mins. Helpful, friendly staff too!
Amazing staff, from the greeting to the nurse to the doctor. Polite and attentive to my needs even tho they are the experts. Made me feel welcome and right at home upon walking in.
I like that you can reserve an appointment slot ahead of time and was taken back to see the doctor right away. Wasnt a long wait. Got my results back quickly and was seen fast. That’s a key factor when dealing with a medical concern!! Will definitely come back in the future if need be 😃
Paying out of pocket, long covid, literally getting insurance 11/1, so my going in and paying $200 for a note from work was expensive. The front desk staff was amazing. The Dr was very rude. She asked me if shed seen me before at other urgent care centers. She later pretended like she recognized me, and asked about my family.... But I have never seen her before or visited Urgent Care before in my life. She literally treated me like I was drug-seeking instead of literally listening to me.I went home and cried. So thank you.
This is the best care from an urgent care I received. The staff was incredible and my provider Mamta Javier was very knowledgeable and caring. Please note there will be a wait time but that isnt at fault of the staff it is because there are so many people that are using this urgent care so dont blame them! They took my insurance and everything was so easy.
Took my 3 year old here for pink eye. They saw him within 20 min, the appointment took 30 min, and we were able to leave with the medication in hand. They were so kind to my son and even gave him an ice pop while we waited. They said they see infants starting at 6 months of age. Thrilled to have this urgent care in Arlington, and I’m sure we will be back.
I appreciated being able to schedule an apointment for my non-urgent situtation. I was seen in a timely manner and the physician was clear in her instructions about treatment. I appreciate the proximity to my home.
By far the best urgent care I have been. The place is clean and the attention is fast. But mostly is how fantastic the staff is. Nurse Michelle and Martha are caring, they listen to what you are telling them and make you feel comfortable. After going to many urgent care looking for help I can say that this has been by far the best
Horrible place for medical care. Do NOT go here. I went for an infection treatment where the MA performed a specimen collection for lab testing, and the NP prescribed antibiotics. Apt time was 7:40pm.The NP sent the medication at 8pm to the wrong pharmacy, after the pharmacy had closed for the day. When I realized this mistake, had to phone an unaffiliated on-call physician who took the time to find a 24hr pharmacy and send a duplicate Rx. I don’t know why the NP did not check the pharmacy hours before sending my Rx, that being said it went to the incorrect location even after she asked me where I wanted to pick up the Rx. I had to take care of this while in pain from the infection.I received a phone call two days later saying the specimen was unable to be tested so I had no results on the exact bacteria involved, which means I had no answer on which exact antibiotic would clear the infection properly. I asked why, the answer was “likely a problem with the specimen labeling.” The MA had mentioned multiple times during my visit that there were computer issues, and had to ask me three times my DOB and demographic information. I had to make an appointment with my unaffiliated physician to provide a second sample. It reeks of incompetence all around. I gave a review directly to the GoHealth company via text, and received zero communication to follow up with my complaint. Avoid this business at all costs, save yourself time and pain just go to the ER.
My toddler had a small cut on his forehead. Joel was our provider - he and everyone here were great. We were in and out in 10 minutes.
First class operation. Efficient. Fast. Doctor on site. 100% satisfied.
I had the worst sore throat, ear aches, head aches & fever. I ached all over. I was soooooo happy to make an appointment to be seen the same day in case I had RSV or COVID! My visit was a very enjoyable experience. The experience was way better than going through the emergency room. Caroline the nurse & Jennifer the Nurse Practitioner were both very friendly &: welcoming. Jennifer sent my prescription into my pharmacy & it was ready when I got there. The 2 ladies are the reception seemed a bit distracted, spoke so low I couldnt understand what was said & seemed irritated that I asked her to repeat what she said. Hopefully, they can have better days & maybe I was there in an off day. Overall, the office was very accommodating, clean, near & comfortable.Thank you. Linda
A great place! I was a walk-in but notwithstanding an obviously busy day, I was seen promptly, by two top-flight and warm and engaging professionals, LaQuita who handled my intake, and James who quickly determined that I did not have pneumonia, as I had feared. James also was quick to give me practical tips for avoiding or minimizing possible side effects of the antibiotics, which I have remembered to follow to the letter. Very clear instructions!
I’ve been here twice. The first time was last year and I was seen by Anna M Lisowski who was amazing! I came here again early September on a Saturday morning thinking i’d receive the same care…. and it was so bad it was embarrassing. I really wanted a refund lol I came in at 9:30 there were two other patients at the time. First off the nurse was in training so she was lost the entire time… Which whatever we all start somewhere… she jots done all my symptoms and I explain I think its an infection because literally everything points to it being infected. I also explain to her how it’s really painful. She leaves and I wait 15mins for doc T who is outside yelling out a patient’s name, address, condition, his lab results and i’m like? damn what about privacy? I get the walls are thin but theres a good 15feet between us and a door I should not have heard all that. Then I guess the nurse tells him my issue and then he and the nurses start howling! legit laughing it up and im like hey let me join in at that point! It was so rude and unprofessional ya’ll I was shocked! They skipped inside voices in preschool. Anyway doc James Tanney misdiagnoses me after coming into the room for 3mins. :) My derm laughed when I told her the diagnosis he gave me. I put the complaint in already but that probs wont do anything.
It was the day before Christmas Eve and my daughter just got home from college. I made an appt the night before, got there at 11 am. She was seen, diagnosed with the flu and her meds were sent to the pharmacy for pick up under 2 hours. Good care in little time. Thank you INOVA!
The front medical office team is incredibly professional and kind to their patients and family members. Last but least Joel CLocsin, FNP was incredible with my son he was very detailed and kind and most of he actually explained everything throughout the visit which in return helps me understand how to comfort my child when ill 😷The precautions of keeping the areas and room sanitary was amazing 🤩
Everyone that I interacted with was great. The doctor that took care of me was amazing. I desperately needed a medication to deal with bug bites and an allergic reaction on the front of my legs. He was hesitant due to not knowing my kidney function.I logged into my Inova account and found the blood work results for a 3-15-23 Inova ER visit that showed the results for a kidney function test.He worked with other staff and maybe senior management to be able to prescribe the medication that I needed. Major relief to have one dose of medication where I needed 3 doses. Worried that one dose wont solve the problems and dont currently have a primary doctor.
My experience with Go Health were always great: the receptionists are helpful and the other staff knowledgeable and kind.
A very enjoyable experience. The experience was way better than going through the emergency room. The team made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. They was really concerned about my wellbeing and the symptoms that I was experiencing. I truly appreciate them continuing to checkup and make sure that I was comfortable. Even as an employee of Inova, the way the provider explained everything was very appreciated. This could be my primary care family. Thank you.
I was very impressed with my care provider,Jim Tanney-Palmeter. He responded to my symptoms quickly which resulted in some immediate relief for me. As a result, I have total confidence in his diagnosis and hope to be totally recovered soon.
Brought my father in law there for some treatment. Treatment was OK. Nearly a year later - without any communication I can find from INOVA GoHealth - received a debt collection notice for the copay, something small like $50. This is petty and aggravating. Would not recommend using this over a generic urgent care or the emergency room at Virginia Hospital Center. This facility should cover in-between levels of care, but not if Im getting referred to a debt collector without, for example, a bill from INOVA.
My experience was a great one! I signed in and went in quickly. Receptionist was kind and professional. I felt I was heard by Dr. Martha T. I explained my condition and symptoms. She has guided me in the right direction, which I a grateful for. That isn’t always the experience with some unfortunately. I would recommend this office.
Took my 9 year old and we were in and out in less than an hour with a positive strep diagnosis. Great staff and easy parking, you can reserve a spot ahead of time. We’ll be going here from now on!
First of all, although I had a slot booked online, I was made to wait for over an hour and they allowed people to be seen before and they gave them my slot. It turned out because there was one small form left to complete which I was not aware that I had to complete although I did sign in and I did complete my online registration. Instead of letting me know, they just let me wait for over an hour and let other people ( this included walk-ins) take my pre-booked spot. To make matters even worse, the staff there are absolutely awful and so unfriendly, the nurse who took my vitals was just horrendous she was just barking out orders and was extremely unfriendly. Awful place, first and for sure, last time I’m stepping foot here. People who come here deserve to be treated with respect. Shame on you.
I went in for a visit on September 14th for a sprained thumb I had received the night before. Typically I try to avoid ERs due to the high costs, and I also believed it may not have been a medical emergency. I arrived to the urgent care and was able to see one of the nurses there, they were attentive and patient. He had referred me to get an X Ray done at another location; before that I had asked about the cost because I cant afford a large x-ray bill even with insurance. He assured me that the x-ray would be at no additional cost on top of the Urgent care visit (35 dollars with my insurance typically). Two weeks later I have a X-ray bill that is hundreds of dollars; and nothing can be done because the charge is showing at the external x-ray location (also an INOVA center), not the urgent care. I believe its very problematic to assure a patient of low medical bills just for them to get blindsided. I suppose Ill have to pay this bill, but Id appreciate more transparency from the medical professionals due to how much most medical tests/treatments cost.Edit: they also gave me an unneeded splint without letting me know it’ll cost me 153 dollars.
I luckily went in with no one there. The check-in nurses, nurses, and doctors were all great.
2 hr wait. No X Ray available. Dismissive front desk staff.Waited two hours to find out no X Ray was offered that day although it was listed as a service on their website. Only rating more than one star because it was the only Inova Go open that day when the other two in the area were closed with no reason. No sign on doors no recorded message on their phone lines when we called. Just closed during their posted operating hours. Major disappointment since we wanted to affiliate with the INOVA hospital system which is otherwise great. Not Inova Go.
I will never return to this clinic.I came in on a Friday, after feeling terrible and coughing up green and brown chunks for two days and feeling dizzy and having cold sweats. I knew this was not viral, as I have had a number of viral and bacterial infections over the years having served in multiple hot climates where bacterial infections were quite common. I indicated my feelings of such to the nurse practitioner, and was blown off with a very smug and terse reply that there was no evidence it was bacterial. I then spent the next days very ill, unable to sleep as I woke up every hour during the night coughing up more green chunks.Eventually on Sunday, I had been coughing so much I was then coughing up blood along with the green/brown chunks from my chest. I then went to the Vista Medical center urgent care in Arlington. A doctor saw me, and within about 30 seconds of listening to me and examining me prescribed antibiotics. After two hours of sleep and the antibiotics, I was on the mend. I have stopped coughing up green chunks and blood, but due to the choices of the Inova clinic to ignore and dismiss me, I am still currently unable to speak clearly well into the work week. Which is making work hard as I can barely speak beyond a whisper due to all the coughing.I will never return to Inova clinic, and I warn anyone else away from the practice as well.
Excellent customer service. From our check in to the nice woman who took my mom’s vitals, to the Nurse practitioner (Maddie). EVERYONE was so nice and welcoming. The called in her prescription and it was ready by the time we picked it up at CVS. One of the best urgent care places I’ve been in.
Thank you , your devotion to providing phenomenal medical care and services to me . Thank you for your professionalism and care your diagnosis saved my life it was my first time in your facility . I will always remember your support and care . I will continue to recommend your service to others in my community .I have so much respect and honor to you for your dedication to saving lives...Thank you ♥️
Won’t ever go back. Rude reception staff or lack thereof. Medical print out was in error. PA was OK, but was fixed on an idea that I had a yeast infection. I don’t if this is a nova’s outer reaches, I’ll be using another hospital system.
I have gone to the this location several times for the past year or so. Each time everyone, receptionists, assistants, nurse practitioners, doctors, were doing a great job. They were attentive, knowledgeable and professional. I received top-notch care each time. The wait time was reasonable, I was in and out within an hour. The last time I was there, when signing in, the receptionist told me that the wait was two hours. I asked if it was okay for me to leave and come back later and she offered to call me when my time was coming up, which was super helpful. I have only good things to say about this place, highly recommend it!
When cutting tomatoes, one should avoid cutting a finger too ... sadly, not last evenings experience. A serious enough cut that a simple bandaid wasnt enough, went rushing to find an open urgent care so a doctor could take a look and handle it. After passing by three other urgent care centers who were closed, even though online check said they were open (and two closed even though they should have been open based on the hours on the door), we got to Inova Urgent Care minutes before closing. My experience:- absolute decency/cordiality/professional attention even though, as the sole and last minute patient, the staffs closing up was held up by me.- the easiest/fastest administration process Ive ever had in a medical situation- cordial, decent, professional medical attention (from both doctor and nurse)While, of course, I hope not to need it, I would have no hesitation going back to the this urgent care center.
In pain, I desperately booked online less than an hour before an “appointment” on a Wednesday afternoon. The wait time did not seem unusual for a doctor’s office, especially as I had been told by the receptionist that the “appointment” was more along the lines of establishing a place in line. Upon reviewing my situation with the medical team, I was advised to go to the emergency room, which had been what I suspected I needed to do, and in fact proved out as the correct choice once I got there. I was told there was no charge for the visit if I chose INOVA. I got what I needed out of this experience.
We were told the wait would be an hour when we got here about 1:55. It is now 3:50 and we haven’t been seen yet. If the care improves when we actually get seen I’ll come back and update this.Update: the wait was ATROCIOUS it was over twice as long as we were told (told an hour, it was 2 and a half). But the staff was nice and helpful N and the NP we saw was excellent.
People go there thinking they have an X-ray machine. There is none. I saw so many injured kids there who were turned away. Why not make it clear on their website that they do not do X-rays there?Doctors/nurses have zero bedside manner. My daughter has a birth defect and they just have no idea how to deal with kids like mine. One NP attempted to look into my daughter’s ear, even though there is no ear. Another doctor just blurted out “oh she has only one Normal ear”. Why make such an accent on a child’s birth defect and right in front of her?
This was my 2nd visit. I was able to get in and get treated quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. A good place to go when you need care.
I was very pleased with how quickly I was scene and my issue was taken care of right away.
Worst urgent care Ive ever been too. I told them I bought 2 covid home tests and tested neg two days in a row. They still tested me. Clearly they only care about money. Then they ordered meds for me that werent ready for 3 days. Urgent care... avoid this place at all costs. This place should be shut down.
Clean reception area. Front staff provided decent customer service. Nurse and NP were friendly and professional. Overall a good experience. 4 out of 5 stars for the long wait.
I really liked Dr. Jennifer Hunter. I didnt feel rushed and she listened to me. Plus she was nice and made me feel calm. Really appreciate the care she gave me because the office was very busy.
Made appt online. They were very prompt and courteous upon arrival. The doctor was professional, answered all my questions and I didn’t feel rushed. Would recommend
Easy to schedule, great and friendly front desk staff, concerned and patient provider and little wait.
The wait time was minimal and the doctor was super helpful.
I just went to this location as a walk in patient - I am so impressed by the level of care I received. I was in and out within an hour, and that’s even with the COVID chaos going on AND a chest X-ray! All precautions were taken to ensure safety for both staff and patients. I did go shortly after they opened at around 8:30 am, so that may have played a role. Either way, I am extremely pleased with the service I received. Their bedside manner is fantastic. I will definitely return if I have any other medical needs.
Disappointed by the care provided. The MA had a poor bedside manner, the provider did not do a comprehensive exam leading me to need more medication and be seen at a different facility, where I received best-practice care. The provider also verbally told me the medication she was going to prescribe and it did not match what was in my chart. I was not given take-home information about my condition, my pre-existing medical conditions were not considered, and I paid upfront for the visit instead of being charged after submitting to my insurance.
In a world where you cannot get care without an appointment, Inova maintains the true spirit of urgent care: just show up - so 5 stars to that! The drawback is that you r its busy you can spend most of your day there waiting. On the upside the medical staff is very nice, competent, and thourouh. They were much apologetic about the wait, that I truly appreciate.
Great, caring and empathetic doctor, she really listened to us, was great and very efficient. Felt well looked after. Nurse was also quite nice and good. Front desk staff was pleasant and online checkin helped speed things up. We had an appointment online and only had to wait 15 min. Pleasant waiting space. Would go again. Shorter wait than south Arlington
Proper good and accurate care. I just had to wait 45 mins beyond the scheduled appointment, but glad the attending staff do things properly.
Worse bedside manner anywhere. Despite the convenience of them being able to run covid, flu, strep, and other cultures in-house, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you absolutely need to. They don’t look at patient history when diagnosing and providing prescriptions. This is also the only clinic I’ve ever been to where the provider slammed (not closed) the door in the patients face. Not professional at all
My experience at the Inova Urgent Care North Arlington was absolutely the best Ive had at an urgent care. First the website is very well organized, informative and easy to navigate. They have a call ahead system that estimates wait time so you can wait at home rather than at the clinic. The staff is professional and welcoming and the facility modern. My doctor was wonderful - very personable and with a spot on diagnosis (sinus infection, sore throat, laryngitis). Literally within 24 hours I was feeling quite well. Exceptional urgent care - I highly recommend Inova.
The doctor called in my prescription in to a closed pharmacy and I was unable to pick up my prescription until the next day!!After the fact I realized I wasnt given any paperwork from my visit-- I was too sick to notice in the moment.I ended up going to the ER after this visit. Totally unacceptable.I dont have any confidence to ever use this facility again.
I went to this urgent care on a Monday afternoon & there were only two other patients in the waiting room. I was taken back to the exam room within 10 minutes of arriving. The tech and nurse practitioner treated me with respect and listened to all the concerns/symptoms I had. Overall, I was in and out within half an hour. I would definitely recommend this location!
I called to inquire on behalf of my very ill sister. Unfortunately, this location did not have the equipment needed but I was fortunate to get Miss Sharisse on the phone. She helped me locate some other options. Theres nothing like being in need of medical care (and the love from a stranger) to help you feel good even before you get well. Its great to know that there are still helpful people in the world and in healthcare.Thank you Miss Sharisse. I am sure the resources you provided will do us good.
I made an appointment and filled out all the forms. I’ve been here for 30 minutes past my appointment. I have been asked to fill out the same forms and present the same cards, insurance and id. It’s so unpleasant. I’m giving it five more minutes and then I’ll take my chances with something else. This is absolutely ridiculous. The receptionist has had three personal calls.
Awful practice and poor customer service. Lack of care for patients’ well-being. Staff are poorly trained. They were more concerned with eating their lunch rather than providing care.
The staff here is fantastic and I’ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes to see a doctor. Ashleigh, The nurse practitioner, is personable, professional, and provides the type of first class service Inova is renowned for. Highly recommend. 5 stars!!
I wish I had read the reviews before I went in. One of the worst experiences I’ve had. I waited for almost an hour to get swabbed for a strep test (I chose ‘lab only when I checked in); after the long wait, they told me they need to do a full screening before they can do the test (they could have told me that when I checked in). It does not make sense at all. This is how they can charge more.. In the end, I ended up leaving without getting tested. They told me that it costs $200 to get a strep test.. Ridiculous.
I went on Tuesday morning for a foot sprain from the gym. All the staff were friendly, the place was practically empty and very clean. I saw the doctor in 15 minutes, he was great and I got an x-ray 15 minutes after that. He was able to diagnose and give me some crutches very quickly. Happy to know it wasnt a break, I hobbled out of there in less than one hour. Great experience overall.
I was not feeling well and went to Inova Urgent Care on Lee Highway. I was seen quickly and it was a smooth quick process. The staff was great and facility clean. I also had gone in November for my daughter so 2 out of 2 great experiences. And I am not a fan of doctors, hospitals or medicine.
I went on 10/24 at 6:00pm. Great nurse practitioner, great front desk staff and only waited 20 mins. They said I beat the rush. It was a seamless process and I loved the nurse and nurse practitioner who treated me. Very timely and thorough care.
Everyone was very professional and caring. They took me before my appointment time., so no waiting around.
The online scheduling process was easy, the doctor saw me right at my scheduled time, and he was knowledgeable and gave me meds that helped with my problem. Can’t think of anything they could have done better!
The doctor was quite approachable and gave immediate pertinent advice to the specific problem.
Check in staff is the absolute worst & rude / have walked out twice because of this. Said couldn’t take me in b/c “about to close” it was 45 minutes before close and they had two people in waiting room. Only ever went b/c proximity to home - never again!
The worst experience...you are better off doctoring yourself...wont go back there for nothing...they dont even deserve one star
Thus far I have not been the happiest with this urgent care. The receptionist I dealt with was a young woman about my age and she was not the friendliest of people, and the doctor who saw me did not give me the correct medication. As a result, I had to make an appointment with my primary care doctor who I cant recommend more highly. He gave me something that will make the cold sore Im experiencing go completely away within the next twenty four to forty eight hours and also told me he wouldnt have given me the initial medication given to me my Dr. Uzman as Ballston Inova Urgent Care. I found it interesting that the CVS pharmacy across from my building told me they have received a fair number of complaints regarding this urgent care as patients have had to see their primary care docs after visiting this facility. From now on, I will be using a different urgent care.
Doctors are great. But the Receptionist messed up or was just too lazy to be bothered entering in my insurance info as a month later I receive a bill for $195 with USC SELF PAY (which is incorrect as my insurance has always paid for my visits here). I called billing dept immediately and they said that it was a mistake and would be submitted to my insurance. A month later, I receive the same bill without an adjustment reflecting my insurance provider (which is in their database!) and according to my insurance they have NEVER even bothered to submit the bill to my insurance. Dealing with billing dept is pathetic - as Ive been promised every time that my bill would be adjusted and updated to reflect the copay I owe and have the self pay full price edited out our whatever. I was finally reassured all was well and taken care of the last time I called 2 months ago. However, as of today I have received the EXACT SAME bill with the errors and no updated info for $195.This is crazy. All because of incompetent billing department and an incompetent, lazy receptionist who couldnt have been bothered to fill in my information accurately. The doctors are great but Ill never return as the risk of billing errors is high and resolution is impossible.
It was easy to reserve a spot and the provider (James) was very friendly and kind. I appreciated that it was quick compared to most urgent cares but still thorough.
Fairly easy to set up appointment. I was seen by dr. At about the time i had reserved. Everybody was nice and they were able to address my issue.
Very efficient and all the staff are great. I felt well taken care of.
Fast, efficient check in. Nurse practitioner was very thorough and send prescriptions to my pharmacy quickly. Im already feeling better!
This center does not offer a Rapid COVID Test and I have been waiting for 5 days for my results for the standard test. I was told to expect that the results would not be available until tomorrow. I understand that testing is backlogged, but I recommend people go somewhere that can process results faster. If you are really sick, or need your employer to know that you have COVID, then waiting 6 days for results is not helpful. I wish I had gotten the doctor here to write me a script so that I could get Rapid Test conducted at Preston’s Pharmacy. Other than their testing lag, the visit felt safe and I was seen very quickly by a PA.
Visiting from Houston for the week.....my son got sick and spiked a 103F fever, went online and registered for 9:30, I showed up at 8am and they took me us in, my son was looked over, they ran a flu and strep test and was out within 45min. The staff was great and the doctor was very good with my son. Thank you very much, yall did a great job, really appreciate it, God bless!
I have visited this location on several occasions, the front desk staff is very professional and welcoming. The maximum wait time I have experience is 10 min. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave the staff is fully engaged with the care they provide. Very professional, i drive from Alexandria to Arlington just because of the excellent service I always receive....I will always visit this location.
Visited this clinic in June 2018 following a trip to Mexico City—and, after detailing my symptoms and medical history to the physician, I was diagnosed with a severe skin infection. She provided me with detailed instructions for self care, put my mind at ease, and wrote several prescriptions to address my needs—all within about an hour. It took me about a month to recover, but I shudder to think what would’ve happened without their help and attention.
The clinic was friendly, concerned and professional. Nice to have a great clinic close to home. Issue was resolved in less than 30 minutes!
I arrived on a Thursday morning at 830am for an ear ache for my 10 year old. Walked in and was told there would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. We were brought back after 30 minutes to have temperature and blood pressure taken and then waited another 20 minutes for the Dr. Usman to show up. After he finally arrived, I was pleased with his service. He took his time and seemed thorough. He spent about 20 minutes with us.The charge for the visit was $198 (I have a high deductible plan with Aetna). That price is crazy high. CVS minute clinic one mile away charges $90 for the same visit and you can get some shopping done while you wait. As far as I can tell they dont post these prices on their website, which isnt surprising since they are double what CVS charges. Unfortunately CVS doesnt open until 9am and my daughter had to get to school, so we stayed. Although I may have been out of cvs faster by the time i got done with all the waiting. We didnt leave until 9:45am.While I was pleased with the Doctor, I am unhappy about the wait and price. I will not be returning for a minor illness like this.
Place was absurd, came to get a covid test. Got here a half an hour early waiting for the curbside testing. Then people arrived after we got here and they got out of their cars to wait at the door. And they got served before we did. Then we asked the nurse why they were getting tested first and she just put her hand out and told me not to worry about it and wait in my car. Very rude to say the least.
Desk staff pleasant, facility nice and clean, liked doctor once I got to see him BUT went on a weekday (not Monday, which I understand is busiest weekday) at little after 9 (i.e., not among those trying to fit in before work) and there was only one other person in waiting room -- got back to see the doctor within about 15 minutes (after filled out paperwork, so was perfectly fine) ..... and waited in exam room (without a single magazine or even artwork on wall) for better part of 45 minutes. No suggestion anyone with a broken bone/real emergency came in to set things back -- apparently even on a weekday when are not at all busy they think 1 1/2 hours for a simple visit is ok. Daughter went in with a sprained ankle couple of days later - on a Sunday -- and didnt see a doctor for THREE FULL HOURS. Will be looking for another urgent care center.
Thank God for Maddie. My throat was sooo sore and swollen and she really helped me out. The cvs got me meds fast. I am so appreciate of this experience as I am from out of town and needed care fast.
We love this urgent care. Friendly staff. Clean and easy to make an appointment. Doctors are always thorough.
Generally good visit. Not a terribly long wait. But person who did the strep swab did a pretty terrible job. If strep was hiding in the tonsils, it would not be found. Her swab was a light couple of swipes on the top and back of throat. Barely felt it.
5 stars for Dr Usman. 2 for our recent experience. Weve seen Dr Usman several times and hes been great every time, gentle, respectful and competent. Took my daughter recently for a head injury suffered during volleyball. The doctor there (young female) was terrible. She knew less than I did about concussions and gave us vague, useless advice. In the end I asked whether or not she thought there was a concussion and she said something like, Yeah, but its all semantics. It doesnt really mean anything to say she has a concussion.... This is bordering on malpractice. Saw a real concussion specialist the next day where she was diagnosed and treated properly. I understand urgent care has its limits, but at the least she should have tested for balance & eye tracking and recommended fluids, protein, and omega-3s and that we seek additional help. Please if you have a serious injury, dont come here.
Sherise was wonderful and patient with my registration.Laquita, the assistant, was caring, thoughtful, and helpful.Jennifer, NP was professional, knowledgeable, and kind.Thank you to each of you.
I was sent here by the inova urgent care south because north had the x ray. “Your already in processed here so you can just show up and do the x ray.”...... yeah right. Unlike what I was promise, walking in (despite being sent by urgent care south) I was treated by an entirely new patient. Must have been an hour wait. R did every vital and retold me entire story. What a waste.
The staff members I interacted with today -- José, Rachel, and Lea -- were all extremely kind and considerate. I felt like they actually listened to my concerns and did everything they could to help address them.
Ever since i found out about urgent care i refuse to go to the er. i have such nice doctors and receptionists everytime i go, if i have to wait because there is limited doctors they always apologize they always give me the best satisfaction in a doctors office, i never once had a problem with them since i started going and i find it very fast, relaxing and convenient since its only a few blocks from my house
The online check-in is nothing more than a marketing ploy. It doesnt matter what you select it is never the same as when you arrive. Oh, the computer must have changed it.Unacceptable, computers do what they are programmed to do. And if they do change your check-in time, it should update the notification it sends. Told it would be 45 minute wait beyond the check-in time. They need a better staffing plan. Even the Fairfax ER has a shorter wait.
I recently visited the North Arlington office on Lee Highway. Both the nurse and doctor were great and my medical problem was easily resolved. This is a great location with great employees. I definitely recommend this office and Inova Urgent Care.
My go to urgent care in the area. Clean and fast especially during the middle of a weekday.
I have been to this location several times and the staff is ALWAYS professional, nice, and hardworking. They listen, are accommodating, and always get me in a out super fast. They are the best!
My son fell off the bike the other day and his wounds seemed a bit too oozy to me. I called my son from work the next day and asked him to walk over to the Ballston Urgent Care Center whose motto is For life’s everyday bumps and bruises – and more and have them look at his arm and at least tell him if its doing ok or if we need to go see a doctor to treat that wound. The Urgent Care Center refused to even look at the kid. They did not even LOOK at his arm. They said - without an accompanying adult they cannot dispense medical advice for liability reasons. So to say : its healing the way it is supposed to or it does not look good - go see a doctor is too scary for them to handle. So they rather not even look at the kid than subject their practice to the legal horrors that might follow. Way to go, Ballston Urgent Care!
Dr. Sarah Guthrie was great! Appreciate her thoroughness and great bedside manner!
Clean, quick, and effective. Friendly. Really no negatives.
Friendly staff and nice clean facility. I went at 7:30pm and they were able to see me fairly quickly. Will definitely return for quick urgent doctor appointments.
From the front desk taking phone calls, to everyone administering care, I’ve had several visits this week and each experience was a breeze. Thankful for places like this in times like these. Definitely coming back if needed!
How come an urgent care clinic has no xray. Not sure if that’s always the case but it was the case the day I needed to visit them.
Diagnosed bronchitis with x-ray on site. Picked up Rxs at CVS across the street.within 2 hours I was on the mend. All employees very knowledgeable and professional.
I give Urgent Care Inova a zero. They collect the payment prior to the services .The Nurse practitioner just told me to contact my primary doctor. A waist of money.
I walked in this place and immediately felt nauseated by the heat. I asked the person behind the desk if he thought it was a little warm, he responded that he had been telling the manager for over a MONTH how hot it was in there! (By the way he was very kind and helpful!) It was well over 80 degrees in the front of that place! I HAD to get out of there! You’re INOVA, supposedly some of the best care givers in the NATION! How on earth do you expect people to wait in conditions like that let alone allow your employees to work like that?! I will never step foot in any of your locations again!
Terrible customer service. Surly receptionist. Her glare upon entering seemed to say Oh, great...another patient to deal with. Didnt get any better filling out paperwork. We left and went to Mid-Atlantic Urgent Care instead.
Friendly and efficient staff. The place is clean, not too crowded, and plenty of parking.
Was a walk in for my wrist, was told there was no X-ray at this location and that there is an X-ray in the Vienna location, after driving over to Vienna and waiting in the line for an hour I was told there is also no X-ray machine here as well. Wasted time money and resources, worst experience ever
Received the worst care for an injury. The doctor wasn’t helpful and when I called back to get a referral to see a specialist they wouldn’t give me one.Go somewhere else if you want good care from someone who’s going to actually listen to you and your symptoms/needs.
I have been waiting here since 12:05 pm. My spot was for 12:23 pm. It is now 12:55 pm. I get it, emergencies happen, but please apologize and let me come back later and skip the line.
Fast, efficient and quality diagnosis and plan.
The 2 female technicians and security guard at the Lee Highway testing site in North Arlington, VA were helpful and professional. I am grateful INOVA was able to provide a testing option that did not require sitting inside with other patients, especially while I was not feeling strong physically.
Close to home, thorough, & IN Tricare Network. NP Guluma & Front Desk Assistant were exceptional. Recommend Highly!
I will never come back to this place the front desk staff was beyond rude when I told him they were charging me more then what my co pay was supposed to be. I even called my insurance company and they verified that I was correct. He then told me well we know where you live so we will just send the rest of your bill .
Youd get more competent care from a veterinarian. They have NO doctors on site...just nurses. Imagine that!
Arrived with injured foot, clearly limping. She didnt ask why I was there, just told me to fill out paperwork. Fast forward 20 minutes, she reads the paperwork. The X-ray machine is broken, we cant help you. No, guess you cant.
The NP I saw, Emiline, is the nicest and most caring medical professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. Highly recommend coming to this clinic for any urgent care needs.
The WORST. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Please don’t go here. We waited three hours to see a nurse practitioner who wasn’t helpful. The admitting nurse misdiagnosed my child and was really bad at her job. It was a terrible experience.
This place is horrible. Poor customers service and unprofessional. If you hate your job change your job. You can’t choose to work in a medical field and lack compassion.Go anywhere but not here
Always friendly, professional and efficient.
My physician assistant was excellent. Im healing well.
Martha Tesfahun she’s unprofessional she doesn’t know the patient rightsShe told us something that’s not accurate when we check the reception her information was false she needs more education about patient rightsToday was my first time this place and will my last day
Great service. Arrived as No. 14 on the list and was still seen within the hour. Very courteous staff/physician.
Really good customer service. Person working at the front desk and the doctor were very friendly and helpful
Wait is horrendous with only 2 people in waiting room. Time inefficiencies make the wait much worse than other urgent cares. It’s seriously faster to go to VHC express care.
Terrible. Sloppy, unprofessional staff. Made an advance appointment but still waited an hour. Embarrassment to Inova system.
The staff and doctors are always helpful and efficient. Ive never had a long wait. Im so glad theyre in the neighborhood.
Dr. Burke was really great. Really helped!
We were seen quickly. Diagnosed prescriptions prescribed. What else can you ask for.
Very efficient, and professional. The place to go when you need urgent care.
Staff was efficient, competent, and friendly.
Pregnant haven’t eaten solid food in 3 days. Reserve a spot online doesn’t matter put at bottom of the list. Receptionist is just playing on her phone. Run!
Follow up visit, still waiting to be called by doc, more than one and a half hour, what type of care and support they are providing, would never visit again
Prompt, attentive and informative. Both Madeleine and Amanda were friendly and helpful.
Everyone was very nice and helpful! I felt like my needs were addressed and all my questions answered
I was sincerely very impressed by the professionalism of my doctor and the staff at Inova Urgent Care in Arlington.
This location has a staff that offers the absolute best bedside manners. They made me feel extremely comfortable and very knowledgeable
Never go to this one. The clerk was so rude and doctor was not helpful at all, but they charged a lot of money. Terrible terrible experience!!
In and out pretty quick. Kind staff, great care. Rachel working at the front was great
Great experience. Professional staff and felt very cared for. Would go here again.
They were outstanding. Dr. Usman was thorough, caring, informative, and professional. I would highly recommend.
Do not go here! 4 hour wait, 30 sec visit and no MD on site.
Got here for urgent care and they were randomly closed in the middle of the day. If you have an emergency, go somewhere else.
Very good experience, staff was very courteous and responsive and Dr was great. Highly recommend
Great in and out diagnoses. Friendly staff.
Efficient, helpful, professional.
The Receptionist who work there , very unprofessional with the people who call for information.
Very professional medical staff
Office Staff couldnt have been more rude.
Professional, clean, and efficient.
Security guard not wearing mask!
I waited for one hour and a half
Proffessional service
