This is one of the best Healthcare facilities i have been in, once you go in one time their memory lock you in so your next visit they remember you and great you with a smile. I really like how informative the staff are and helpful in giving you the correct information you need. Its a very busy facility but you get everything fast your results comes back to you in a day or two, you are late they still try to see you but if you are extremely late they still will see or give you another appointment. I love it there.
If a doctor here gave a prescription I should be able to change the pharmacy and pick up the medicine The SAME DAY this 24-48 hour turn around wait for approval is STUPID and very aggravating!! Get it together this makes no sense yall know the person needs the medicine what is all the idiocy of approval or whatever this is really dumb and makes me wanna switch providers all together and I’ve been with CHN for 11 years I just wanna get my medicine from the closest convenience! Like cmon
I have been a patient at this clinic for nearly 20 years. I can no longer go here because they practice discrimination against ne more than once. I know I cannot get appropriate. Medical care there On more atleast Three occasion I know of I arrived for my appointment and find Im waiting way longer than I should. The front desk people play dumb however I see someone come out who came in after I did.Im a Black American and each time the person is NOT BLACK AMERICAN. I will no longer go to any CHN CLINICS AND REMOVE NY FAMILY MEMBERS FROM THIS PREDJUDICE PLACE
I would like to thank Dr. Joseph Squitieri for being such a kind, caring and competent professional during my treatment with him. Those qualities can definitely build you up when youre fighting the enemies within. He sure could teach many lessons on how to treat patients properly to other psychiatrists who are aloof and affected by the I am a god complex. The front desk staff was also polite, responsive and helpful. Our community needs and deserves much more of this!
Never a smooth moment. Not for an appointment or letter. (someone gets called ahead of me, even though I had a appointment six months prior, or just to even pick up a letter)
CHN..Make sure to follow up on your annual and blood work. Theyre a busy clinic and wont inform of results at times. I suggest this for all Dr annuals no matter the location.Theyve floating PCPs, makes it an environment that you wont establish long term rapport. As a local clinic, its very good, its my first clinic experience, with not hospital based clinic services.I currently under the Medical care of Dr. Bartlett, shes a Nurse Practioner, I see her as a Dr. Dr Bartlett is conscientious about me as a patient. I know she has my best physical health in mind. Has her Medical knowledge efficiently. I would like to have her as my PCP for a long time, I know things change at CHN in this factor, Im sure its due to an Administrative necessity.
So this place is going from bad to worse every single time I have to deal with them. Im not sure why Jia Huag, NP refuses to sign paperwork to renew services (home health aid, therapies) for my autistic son every time they are needed and the company that provides the services reaches out to her. She either wants his developmental pediatrician to sign (even though they need the PCP not the developmental to do it) or says no that she needs to see him again even though he already had his yearly check up and doesnt need to be seen again until next year and is not like she is unaware of these papers because she has signed them before (obviously giving a hard time aswell).Dr. Sharon Griffith berating her nurses in front of patients, super unprofessional attitude and on top of that doesnt even have the professionalism of apologizing after making a scene in front of a patient. Im pretty sure if this clinic was not for low income and needed to be paid out of pocket full price or take pricate insurances she wouldnt act like that in front of people. Isnt she the director for womens health/obgyn? I expected more than that display from her.Their Health Home program also is unbelievable for their lack of professionalism. How do you keep a patient waiting for services for months in the account that something always happens with his assigned worker then have the supervisor ask for a 2nd chance when we decide we no longer want services? And after a 2nd, 4th and 5th time he still has not talked to anyone in months.The only redeeming staff I have seen that worked with my husband, and theyre not even at the south bronx location, are Rondell Johnson and Dr. Anna Shapiro and unfortunately Dr. Shapiro is no longer there. Michelle was good for my child aswell and she is also no longer there. So I guess my whole family (children, husband and myself) are just going to find a new care facility.Complete disgrace.
I have been going to this center for years but for about 2 years or so, it has been extremely difficult to get through anyone by phone. In the past few months I cannot get anyone. I wait for close to 30 minutes then get cut off. When I call back I automatically get cut off several times in a row. Services are great when I am there the facility is clean the staff are professional and nice, wait time is fair but to get someone is difficult.
Been seeing the doctor for years now. No complaints at all. Excellent staff, wait time is great and the physicians are professional. Compared to alot of other clinics I been to this is my go to place. Moved to mount vernon and still travel here to get seen.
I called the network to ask if I could go as a walk-in to this location. They advised that I would be seen if I made it to the center before closing time. Needless to say, I left work unnecessarily and endured an one and a half hour commute to this site only to be refused service. I arrived an hour and a half before the center closed and the nurse just complained about how much she would have to do and blamed the call center for the misinformation (how is this in any way the patients problem- get it together). This was a complete waste of time and air. I would suggest anyone who is thinking about going to this center to chance it at Lincoln hospital rather than this place.
My wife Made A Appointment and due to Signal Malfunction there was MAJOR Delays. She tried calling but they kept Hanging up and when I tried they did the same thing. When she arrived she told them the situation and they said they cancelled her appointment and should have called. The number on the card we were given was the wrong number and said there was no doctor to see her cause the doctor scheduled for the appointment left but the doctor was still there and told us she was too busy. Never again
They will make you wait HOURS before seeing the doctor even if you have an appointment. When you plan ahead to coordinate with the doctor she will tell you one thing and then make you waste your time going to the clinic to not even fulfill what she told you she would. The most irritating and annoying experience ever.
They never wanna see any kids who actually need to be seen my son has asthma & they refuse to see him and KANAHARA turned me away this morning after telling me she will see me while looking at my son who is physically struggling to breath . DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING KIDS HERE
You should really consider coming into this place. Been here twice for walk in and have been sent to urgent care because they claim that they provider list is full. This is after you spent 2 plus hours in the lobby just waiting to get your vitals. It is a total bad experience. They make you waste your time!
This place has really fallen off. Had to see a different doctor bc mine wasn’t in. Got my medicine changed without him asking if I wanted to change.Was given no refills although I was previously given 6 refills because I constantly need the medicine. Called to have it switched back was told the doctor would call me when they sent my prescriprion... its been 3 days and nothing and now the new medicine is giving me horrible side affects !!!
Im a patient from more 7 years, i love the staff, always call the patient on time of your appointment, im very happy with the service, have other location very close to my apto but i really prefer go tho 975 Westchester .
They didn’t have a hard time me feel comfortable I’ve been to other clinics and have had a hard time finding some place I actually felt comfortable they saw me fast and helped me to understand a lot. Thank you !!!
I made a appointment with them April 18 for May 10 2pm,that’s the earliest time they had even I explain it was emergency,after waiting 3 weeks they said I don’t have any appointment,I wanted to speak to Manager but he was in lunch for forever that day,
Every appointment I’ve been to, I’ve waited over 2 hours after my scheduled and confirmed appointment time to be seen. Very frustrating. Complaining and making a fuss doesn’t solve the problem. It doesn’t change.
This place is terrible! Always a long wait!!! Doctors are always out!!!! The rooms are always dirty and the equipment never works!!!! The staff is very unprofessional and they all have nasty attitudes!! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH DO NOT COME HERE!!!!
I was very impressed with this facility & they were friendly and helpful & the Podiatrist was very good, I would recommend this place to anyone!

I have a bacterial infection they said they would send my rx to the pharmacy my appointment with them was on a Saturday its Thursday of the following week ..Im still here waiting on my RX ..I called location for someone to help me ..no one has ..😑

Terrible service! They made me wait more than an hour and they didnt attend to me. I went with a shift scheduled by them. They lose my blood at the lab and the lab orders dont appear. A complete disaster
You go for a “walk in” and they never have room or support to assist you. They take from one month to another to make the appointment. And if you get annoying because you dont understand why it takes so long, they put you on hold until they hang up. Vanesa is a terrible worker
Very bad service, they do not provide good service, but the dark-skinned woman who draws blood is Transphobic towards the LGBTQ community 🏳️⚧️ I dont know why they have her working there is where there is so much diversity and this clinic does not offer good service.Girls from the front spend their time talking
