Arguably the worst location I have ever been to. Don’t be deceived by the nice outside… the inside waiting room feels like a morgue, everyone doesn’t want to be there including the front desk staff.Don’t even bother scheduling an appointment you’d be more likely to make it through rush hour on the 10 then getting your appointment completed here.Zero stars if I could.
Do NOT take your child or baby here. I brought my 10 month old for bloodwork for his food allergies. It took 2 people, multiple attempts, both arms, and zero communication throughout the process for me to stand up and shut down their pathetic efforts to draw blood from my baby. They offered no apologies or explanations as to their difficulties etc. The staff is rude, uncommunicative and borderline unprofessional. Upon arriving, I did inquire at the front desk as to whether they were comfortable drawing from babies and was met with annoyance and disgust “we do babies every day”. Well today, two people, at least 7 attempts, and both arms prove otherwise. Horrible location and despicable staff at this location. To be fair, this was always my experience personally, but I believed they would at least feign professionalism with a child involved. Shame on them. Avoid “Liv” at all costs. One employee was named Liv. Despicable.
Visiting this office makes the DMV look like a day at the park. Over-crowded waiting room with tons of symptomatic patients and seemingly no reason to book an appointment, because you will wait for 30+ mins anyways. There were also samples from previous patients in the bathrooms just sitting in the return box, which I’ve never seen before. Extremely concerning as far as patient privacy is concerned.
Phlebotomist was cool, the receptionist was rude. Edit: Came in another day and saw that they were closed for the rest of the day for a meeting. I asked one of the ladies who came to the door if I could go to another location and she told me yes. I went to the next location and they had a sign on their door saying they were closed for a meeting. Don’t waste my time and tell me I can go to another location if all your damn locations are having a meeting at the same time. Wasted my time and gas money. Totally unprofessional. Oh and the Mexican receptionist was rude again. Just terrible customer service. 0/5
This is the dirtiest most over crowded Sonora I have been to. The front desk ladies are ALWAYS rude and clearly hate life and their job. There has never been a time that I have been here where I was greeted with a friendly face. Literally worse than the DMV in the waiting room people are stacked on each other basically and half of them look like they just crawled out of a dumpster. There is a very friendly and kind phlebotomist named Bang that works here and he is the only shining light that I have seen. I wish he would find a better company to work for somewhere that is not filthy and depressing like this hole is.
Five stars for Chelsea! I get blood work done frequently, and she’s been the best. Smart, competent, efficient, and so friendly. Good job! Thank you.
What is the point of even allowing us to schedule an appointment when you have to wait 1+ hr just to get a text and wait additional 1 hr just to get a test done. I am surprised that the corporate is still running this location with unimaginable amount of complaints that has been made already. I have made an appointment for my newborn that is not even vaccinated fully but had to stay in a lobby with all the other people waiting on their appointment.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. I would never go back to this location for anything. My visit was for my 6 year old. They have no idea how to work with children, they intimidated her and treated her like an obstacle that has to be dealt with in order to finish the day and go home. We both left there stressed and in tears without the blood even drawn and I honestly thought that my little one will develop a fear of phlebotomists after not being able to draw blood from one arm and getting ready to hold her down so they can force the other arm, which at that point I just had to take my child away from them. They had no idea what a gentle approach means, zero child talk, and none of anything that would make a child comfortable, not even a cold spray. Not even a sticker, not even so much as a smile! And when I called beforehand to ask if they work with children, they very much assured me that they do. Obviously, they are only there to get the paycheck and work with numbers, not with people.I suggest this location learn from the one on Higley and 60 before they claim they work with children.Unbelievable that these people work in a medical field.
I had a 30 minute wait on June 10 and Cardiologist said blood sample taken was wrong which produced no results. I went for second appointment on June 17 at 2:30 and no one was at front desk, computer log in said I didnt have an appointment and there were 10 people waiting with no appointments and technician said there was no one to help at front desk. Must find another location.
3/18/24 I had something to pick up from this lab today and I wanted to give a big shout out to the front office staff. The ladies are wonderful as always. They were quick in getting what the doctor ordered for me and they informed me on a few things I needed to know and I was on my way. They smiled, communicated with respect and informed me how to turn things back on. The staff at this location has always been so wonderful to me, and yes Ido go there often. So Thank you to the staff once again on a great job well done. They really need soon kind of recognition. I would of I could, but a cant, so lets see what upper management does for their outstanding staff. Continuously busy but the staff always treats me like Im the only one there!! Great lab!!Fionna is awesome!! She drew my blood with no pain and no brushing. She is pleasant, funny, professional and helps make a blood draw just not so bad. The front staff was wonderful, kind, professional and quick. I was able to get from start to finish in less then 20 min. They were busy and able to move people through swiftly. At times there more busy and it can take longer but they always do a great job. This has been my lab for years. Thanks to all the staff for making what could be a really frustrating task not that bad. Yall are the best!!
I’m not sure why the ratings are so low for this facility. We have had nothing but good experiences here. Liv at the front desk is always on top of things up front and has always been kind to my husband and I and the phlebotomists have all been great.
This person is from hell, BXXXH. They said walk-in is one hour wait and you can wait inside or outside. The room was extremely full so we decided to wait outside in our car. I entered my phone number and they did not text me and she can not provide proof to show that she did text me. When I walked back to check on how much longer we needed to wait, she is closed and that she won’t take me. I show her my phone that there was not text received from them at all and she refused to show me proof that they text me, BIG FAT LIER! And the other front desk person is Dinah! She was the one given us the initial information to checkin on the waitlist and that the wait is one hour. We sighed in and expected to be serviced, not being pushed out because they are lazy and liters. They should go to hell! There is absolutely no service from this place. She should be fired!
Liv the phlebotomist gave me a horrible experience. As an MA who knows how to draw blood, she failed to do it correctly. It was a very painful experience and my arm started to swell up as the needle was still in me. It was my first time going to this Sonora Quest location and will be the LAST!!!
This location sucks! Be prepared to wait and wait some more. A lobby full of people and no one gets called back. Pretty deplorable customer service.
I just had blood drawn at this really busy lab. The ladies in front were slammed, the phone ringing with obvious impatient people on the phone, and a steady flow of people in a hurry. The ladies were very patient, nice and professional.Gaberielle drew my blood. She is amazing. She didnt hurt me, she didnt fish and she was very compassionate and professional. This is my go to lab they are always consistently kind. Thanks to the entire staff for being so amazing!
I’m sad I didn’t get the name of the lovely phlebotomist who did my orders today however I’m type one diabetic and an extremely hard poke. She got me in one go. It was absolutely fantastic.❤️
I recently visited this location for my Normal Routine Lab Orders as this is a convenient location. This review is not about the normal 2 plus hours that I normally wait,; as I am a walk-in, but about the Rude and Unprofessional manner in which the Front Desk Staff treated me..It is truly a shame when Staff Members lack in Common Courtesy and basic Customer Service skills; Especially in the Health Care Environment.. It would be Highly Beneficial if the two Front Desks Staff members learn some Basic Customer Service Skills at the very least. On the other hand, All the Phlebotomist have always been very professional in this location..For this reason I will most likely start going to another location that treat Patients with a little more Common Courtesy and respect…
Go ANYWHERE ELSE. This place is the epitome of awful. The phlebotomists are decent, but the front desk is slow, rude, and seem to truly enjoy making the process as difficult as possible for patients. Your lab order is in their system, but you are still required to pull it out of their system yourself and email it to them. Twice this has happened to me with routine labs. The front desk gets annoyed with the patient while they struggle to retrieve lab requests that Sonora quest already has in their system. Is this fun for these people to make this process as difficult as possible for patients? People are here because they need medical care, not to provide a laugh for the front desk staff because they are frustrated and stuck here for over an hour waiting to get a lab test. For an 830 am appt, arrived at 815, didn’t get called until 850 and that was to show them the same insurance card I showed them last week, and they asked me for the same lab order to be emailed that I emailed them last week after my doctor had already reassured me that the lab order was safely in their system. Maybe it’s a contest to see how miserable they can make patients as they put them through the gauntlet of challenges that must be passed before getting the service we pay an incredible amount of money for. Does the winner get a prize? Patients stay away!
I called from a doctors office and spoke to Andrea over the phone, She was SUPER helpful and helped me super fast! She was very clear with instructions and helped me through what i needed help with! Thank you Andrea!!!
Desk person today is rude. You can’t ask a simple question without being harassed about checking in.
Very unorganized no point in having an appointment they’ll still be rude and make you wait an hour
I made an appointment and ended up waiting an hour. As I was waiting, Im overhearing and watching the front desk lady, heavy set with glasses be rude to multiple people coming in. The customer service was very unpleasant and uncomfortable to hear and watch. I had another appt and have been waiting an hour already and I walked up to the desk politely informing this lady that I had another appointment and know that you guys are busy. Could you please let me know how much longer Id be waiting? She rudely replied with, who are you? I dont know who you are... How about you say, yes let me look. What is your name?. I work in the Healthcare field and have worked at Sonora Quest as a Phlebotomist before. This was poor customer service and she needs to be learn how to speak/interact with people or work in the back. I will not be returning to this location. Only service that was great was the phelebotmist who took me back.
I signed up gor wait outside. As soon as they sent me text I went inside and they told me it is passed already. I asked to talk to manager they said they dont have manager right now. They are all liar and waited me another hours for lab
TERRIBLE! DO NOT USE this place! Had appointment scheduled at Sun Lakes location and received email stating that Sun Lakes location was closed but appointment would be honored at Frye Road, Chandler location. Upon arrival was told the appointments were not being honored and that we could wait for an hour as a walk-in. No thanks! - Ill take my business elsewhere! This is no way to treat a customer! The sign on the door at the closed Sun Lakes location even says that appointments will be honored at the Frye Road location. Shameful! I would give less than one star if I could!
If u want to be seen in a timely manner, do NOT go here. I made an appointment last week. I was finally texted it was my turn 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. If u dont make an appointment it will be a 2hr wait. If u have social anxiety do not go here either. The staff was condescending from the moment I entered. Plus everyone sitting has to stare at u when u enter. This is my last resort quest to go to, but after today I will not be back.
Giving 3 out of 5 because the phlebotomist actually do a good job.The check in lady from Tuesday though had such a poor attitude. This chick didnt even look up to address me when I approached her for a quick question. Made me feel uncomfortable as if my presence was annoying her when it’s literally her job to be a polite person when addressing clients walking in, checking in, etc. Just rude energy and awful customer service experience. She clearly hated her life and being there & it was painful to watch each of her interactions with any others in the room who needed assistance checking in, quick question, anything.Horrible attitude and she should be spoken to about that. It seemed like she was purposely speaking with an attitude to see how people would react. Not sure how she has a job where her job is to interact with the public. She won’t last. 😂
A very bad experience for what should have been a simple blood draw. Edelyn was the person drawing the blood, where she simply did not listen to the patient request, tried to draw form the wrong place, caused pain, and when eventually tapped the vein suggested, she went too far, caused more pain, and had to back the needle out until blood started flowing.I appreciate the response to my review and I will initiate further action through the contact email that has been provided. Additionally, as a person who rarely bruises it can be seen in the additional uploaded image that my arm is considerably bruised from the blood pooling that resulted from the second (very painful) needle insertion. That said, I believe that Edelyn can benefit from additional training specifically such that she might develop patient empathy and learn what it means to do no harm. Lastly, Edelyns continued statements related to serving in combat environments, in an attempt to convey confidence in her skills, should be reassessed and potentially reevaluated.
Even with appointment you have to wait at least 1 hour. And if you are late, of course the appointment will change to walk in and you have to wait additional hours. Never going back there.
The front desk stuff are so fast and efficient. They definitely keep this clinic moving and keep the appointments on time. I made an appointment, and even though the waiting room was packed, I was in to see the phlebotomist 2 minutes before my appointment time! This is probably one of the first times ever I have been seen on time for blood work, so Im definitely going to make my appointments here from now on.
My recent visit to this location went very well. The addition of kiosks is a great way to manage patient flow. I love using them - lab staff were quick to help others who needed assistance The greeter at the front desk (I didnt get her name) was the absolute best! She was efficient, friendly, energetic, helpful, empathetic, and kind. She not only helped in the front, but in the back work areas as well. Only complaint I had was the waiting room/and other rooms were cold. I was prepared for this, but folks in shorts and tank tops not so much. I was a walk-in patient and expected a long wait. It was busy, but with their changes in order management/ID verification and addition of the kiosks, my wait time was acceptable.
Terrible experience, the front office ladies are just horrible. I had an order faxed to this location last week and I waited over an hour while fasting so I already feel like I’m going to pass out in the waiting room. They had texted my phone to say it was my turn but no one called my name in the waiting room. Well after an hour I finally go up to see what the wait was and she said she never received a fax from them and it’s slowly coming in. These wait times are dangerous for people fasting and ridiculous. I ended up leaving because I feel extremely Ill and need to eat and drink. Everyone’s name got called out and they couldn’t call mine? I was in the waiting room for over an hour and not ONCE did they call my name. And she said to my face she called my name when she didn’t.
This location is MUCH better than it was years ago. Albeit I had to be poked 3 times by 3 different phlebotomist (I am typically a hard stick), I still had a wonderful experience. Front office personnel were quite efficient and got me back quickly without an appointment even with me having to have my doctor to fax the orders in. All 3 phlebotomist were very personable and had a wonderful bedside manner. I would definitely recommend this location.
This was an awful experience. Client services were rude at the front and not at all helpful. The front desk put my lab orders in wrong delaying the already long wait well past my appointment time. I have not experienced this level of rudeness in a medical professionals office before.
Dont come here if youre a diabetic and need fasting lab work. Took almost 2 hours to be seenOther than that it was ok.
I usually use Sonora Quest every year for my Annual Checkup and it has been no issue until now. This year I decided to try this location. The staffs are so undertrained and rude, they didnt know what to do with my order. They ended up giving me a sample cup and instruction to drop it off later. I dropped it off the same day. Fast forward 2 weeks, I still havent received the result. I contacted the Sonora Quest specialist and was told the test was cancelled because this location does not do this type of test so the sample was time-out. I did not receive any call or email from this location regarding this, and had to wait 2 weeks for nothing. They should have known when I brought the doctor order that their location cannot handle this test. Waste of time and energy for a simple test.
I had an 8:30 appointment and I got there 10 minutes early. There had to be 50 plus people in there...no way did they schedule that many people for 8:30! They are taking people as they arrive and NOT giving appointment clients priority as it was over 45 minutes until I was seen! This was the one on Dobson and Frye...Shame on them!
I was a walk-in so I expected a bit of a wait (was roughly an hour). Considering things they moved rather quickly. Chanel took my blood without any pain or anxiety. She is so sweet! I dont do needles well.
Having appointments is very convenient. My clients were helped in scheduling their appointments for the next couple of months. They received a printout which allows me to remember the next visits.Since assisting many patients to their appointments at Sonora Quest Laboratories, Ive seen how everyone at this location is professional in all departments. They are very friendly and considerate in regards to patients rights.Know that if you happen to hear a frightened child, of course someone will be delayed those few extra minutes for their turn. Weve all had our own moments in the past to when others waited for our child even at other places. No one likes to wait, i make the most of our stay. All locations have always been fully staffed and able to find our answers for us.Thank you for the pleasant visits.
I arrived without appointment. My day off work. I knew it would be near an hour, 20 people in front of me. They work diligently to get folks registered and create a warm environment for us all. I always request Syed to draw my blood. On this day I have two separate orders from two doctors wanting my blood. He greets me kindly always friendly. He confirms who I am. He works diligently to make this as pleasant as possible. I’m finished in about 3 minutes. Sign my name and depart. I always go to Sonoran Quest lab for blood draw. Very clean and customer service is very good on this day.. following Memorial Day weekend. Very busy.‼️
Everyone was happy and efficient. I showed up at 6:30am to get in line before they opened at 7am. Someone came out around 6:40am and took our info so we could go back to our cars until they opened to stay warm. The gentleman who drew my blood was very friendly, fast and painless! Perfect!
Absolutely terrible experience. I had an appointment for 1pm and arrived 5 minutes before my appointment. After waiting 15 minutes I asked when I’d be called back and was told my appointment showed in their system as 12pm and I am not late and a walk in. After showing my appointment email as 1pm they did nothing to accommodate getting in sooner. I waited over an hour to be called back and had to sit in a waiting room that smells terrible. I’d never recommend anyone coming to this location due to the cleanliness and rude staff.
THE GOOD EXPERIENCES DONT GET REVIEWS!! Thats why Im here. I read the reviews first and it looks like the absolute worst experiences are listed here. I was hesitant. I didnt have an appointment. Im a college student and had to get blood drawn for a medical class I am taking. I have never had blood drawn. I got there at 7:30 AM this morning (Thursday), my name got called at 8:30 AM, and I was in line at Starbucks by 8:40 AM. The (super cute) guy who called me back and drew my blood was very talkative. He was kind and interested in how school is going for me because I was wearing a club shirt. I think he graduated from my university a few years ago. He drew my blood in under 10 seconds (not exaggerating - maybe 7 or 8 seconds total). No bruising. No fainting. A pinch hurts more than the needle did. My only complaint? Some of the other patients in the waiting room werent very nice to the receptionists and nurses when they were being courteous and polite. Get an appointment because youll get seen in less than 10 minutes. Dont listen to the other reviews. About 20 people got seen while I was there and nobody seemed upset afterwards. The only reviews on here are the angry ones.
I am very pleased with my visit today. Considering how many patients were there, the team did an amazing job checking in people quickly and efficiently. The waiting room was clean and chairs spaced for social distancing. My phlebotomist, Syed, is fantastic! In the past I have had issues with getting my blood drawn, but not for Syed! He had great bedside manner and made me feel at ease. He had no issues drawing my blood! Thank you to all the employees for working hard and keeping us safe! I truly appreciate it!
Took my 6 month old for a blood draw and had the most traumatic experience ever. They are not well equipped or trained in pediatric draws. The nurse kept pricking multiple times and was just not confident. It was obvious they did not know what they were doing. After not being able to draw, they blamed us that we did not hold the baby properly. The nerve! Took my traumatized baby back home for a mobile lab draw, which turned out to be a pleasant experience. Do not go here, especially if you have a child
They were awesome and very accommodating. My appointment was at 11:30 . I showed you at 10 because I got done with blood work early. They were able to get me in without having to wait long. The staff is very nice and professional. Loved My experience.
Employees all wearing masks and gloves and even face shields, requiring everyone who enters to wear masks as well. Soooooo glad to see that when so many doctors offices have ended the practice! They have even set up a sanitation station to teach you the proper way to sanitize. Felt very comfortable waiting inside the building instead of outside. Technician was so gentle I never knew when she skewered me and I was in and out in under 20mins from start to finish. Great visit all around.
Worst experience ever. I waited 2 weeks for this appointment and needed blood work for a severe health issue I am having. Instead of me paying for the service and getting the blood work completed they tried to bring me in the back to talk to me about a bill they claimed I owed from 2012!!! They had me in tears and demanded I make payment arrangements and then get my blood work. I do not owe this bill and I ended up storming out and shaking. I have never experienced anything like this in my life and could never feel any value working for a company like this.
Terrible front desk person (Rose), rude and slow. The technician who helped me was actually kind and patient.
Love this location! Amazingly faster service than the other locations I have been to.Review Update: the service at this Sonora Quest has incredibly diwindled. When I was here 2 years ago, everything was fine but since most of the Sonora Quests implemented the appointment system at most of their locations, service has deteriorated!Whose idea was this? Because all I saw was unhappy customers, me included. I was told that I had 4 people in front of me and so I have had 15 people go before me and I am still waiting and my kid is fasting. Its 9:58am. To say Im upset is an understatement.
Expect a minimum of 2-hr wait time and it doesn’t matter if you have an appointment.
I have been to this office a few times and every single time the lady at checkin is so rude and has no customer service. Everybody else who has helped me in the back is wonderful but I don’t know how they allow some to treat their customers that way and not even look up from her computer screen when you go up to talk to her.
Incredibly disorganized and incompetent front office staff. Multiple individuals with scheduled appointments were not seen in a timely manner before and after we left. The front staff (brunette girl and blonde girl) were unable to clarify the reason that we waited for a scheduled appointment- I waited for over an hour and a half to be seen. We had all forms filled out, we had the materials needed for the appointment with us when we walked through the door, but they did not communicate with us at all while we waited, and the explanation for the wait times changed whenever we asked- “oh we didn’t know” was all they could say?! Are we supposed to know the office operation? Communication and honest business practices should be valued but apparently not by this office.
I scheduled an appt. went to the appt. and was told I dont have one I showed them apic. Of my appt they said it didnt go all the way thru and would not honor it. Even though it said your scheduled appt. Is at 102:30 it said location and the date. I was on my 30 min lunch didnt eat and no blood work . great!
I had a bad experience with my 2 year old son at a SonoraQuest location in Scottsdale a couple of weeks before this appointment. The employees there were very rude and stuck my son in both arms and shoved the needle back in 4 times. I was very hesitant to bring him back to a SonoraQuest facility but I am so glad I did. Cheyenne and Christine were so wonderful with my son. They were very patient and they both were excellent in their job skills. I will always come back to this location because of them and the kind employee at the front desk.
Very inefficient. Unless you need to get your biometrics done, its best to go elsewhere for blood work. This place fills up by 9am and they usually run 45min to 1hr behind appointment schedule. I waited 1.5 hours for simple blood work and this has caused me to miss several work meetings. If youre short on staff either hire more or limit your daily appointment slots. Its better to say no slots available than wasting everyones time.
I was so fortunate to have Edelyn draw my labs this morning. She is Fantastic. Professional, personable and really knows what she is doing. Thanks Edelyn! I needed additional labs the following week. I returned to this location without an appointment, walked in. I was greated at the counter by a pleasant, friendly lady who processed my info I requested Edelyn to draw my labs and the lady said she would make that happen. I waited about 10 minutes, Edelyn opened the door and said, Welcome back! Once again, no problem with the draw. This war veteran is fantastic at what she does. Kudos to Edelyn and your team. Thank you
Impossible to reach the billing department. They got incorrect date of birth from the doctors office. They cant fix it by getting a copy of my id. They say they have to get fixed by the doctors office. Then why dont they send the bill to doctors office? Every time I tried to call the billing, it says experiencing unusual call volume and makes me wait forever.EDIT: Saw your response to my review. Appreciate that. But, this what takes to get a response from you? Why cant you just add a call back feature to your phone lines so we can leave our phone number for you to call us back? I even called corporate office to get a response and they said we cant do anything about, you just have to wait on the line for billing. for how long?
All of your staff seems well trained to make people feel very comfortable! One of the special people giving blood draws, he is of India culture , named “ Smed” is really great! Probably misspelled, can not read his writing, but wonderful personality! Ron Pritchard/appointment 9/13/22. Thank you all. Front desk people great also👏
Slow service, dirty lobby area. scheduled an appointment and waited almost an hour.
I never experienced such rude and disrespectful front office staff. One gentleman keeps yelling to sign in sit down. A lady wanted to know if her orders were here and he told her to sign in and sit down before they would even look it up. Two girls are sitting behind the counter but make no eye contact or even say hello thank you. The wait is over an hour. I would leave if the lab work was not need ASAP. It cost nothing to be nice. DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION.
Ive been here twice with a lab order and was only in there for 30 minutes tops each time. They got me in 10-15 minutes after my reservation time which is to be expected. I have no complaints other than the check-in machine being a bit wonky.
Dear Syed, thank you so very much for making my experience pain free. I have had so many painful injections due to my health and you sir are an angel 😊 an answer to my prayers. Thank you so much . I didn’t feel any pain, you were so fast. You are now my new injection guy. So don’t go anywhere. You are amazing.
I arrived before 8 AM and they were super quick and very polite. My phlebotomist was Syed. He honestly blew me away! He was so fast I didn’t even know it was happening. I have thyroid cancer so I get poked all the time and wow. I am impressed.
I went for a blood test and they didnt conduct all the tests mentioned in the lab order. I had waited for more than an hour at the lab that day and finally to know from my doctors office that they received incomplete blood test results is extremely disappointing. I have to go again to get my blood drawn to get the complete results. Also because of lack of the full result, i had to cancel the appointment with my doctor. They have no idea how much hardship they are bringing on to others because of their inefficiency.
The staff was friendly, the office seemed to be very efficient, and phlebotomist listened to me when I told her I had one spot I was pretty sure could easily get blood from, which in my experience is rare. So instead of poking around on both arms for a long time, I was in with her for maybe 5 minutes; it was very quick! I didnt have an appt so I had to wait a while, but I came during their busy time so Im not surprised. If you cant/dont want to wait I suggest you make an appt. The people that came with appts were seen very quickly.
The front desk people are nice but holy cow this is not rocket science. On top of it, I was called back 25 minutes late for my appointment, even being 15 minutes early. I have nothing but problems with Sonora Quest in general, billing issues, result issues, staff who dont know how to draw blood despite doing it all day. Honest to god Im an inch away from paying cash to go somewhere else.
For the most part I’ve had a great experience here. There is maybe one gal at the front desk who had an attitude last time I was there but it was also very busy with customers complaining about the wait. I’ve always had a pleasant experience despite having to have routine labs.
I was first seen by Amanda who was super friendly and nice I warned her that I have bad veins and last time I had work done they had to go in my hands. She took a while to try and find a good vein before trying my hand, but alas my hand was the best. That vein wiggled and she wasn’t able to stick. She called in Syrd (I believe that’s his name the signature is hard to read lol) he tapped my arm once and tried it although he had to fish for a good vein he found one! Everyone who helped me was very nice and professional.
I established an account and hoped to see everything related to me, such as invoices, lab results and other things, but it looks like it is a very lousy website. I wasted my time trying though unsuccessfully to make the payment. I even tried that option (again it failed) using the accession number where the system wanted the accession number and DOB, but it claimed they could not match it.I had to waste more time going through FQA but again and again it was just a waste of time not to mention that they indicated not to call them as all employees were working remotely. That is fine but we also have work, and this system should be reliable and trustworthy. In the invoice, they said I log into sonoraquest.com to conveniently pay my invoice online. However, I was surprised with several options none of which was related to me and I thought it was trustworthy, but it was just a scam as always. Cloud Accounting software for Healthcare organizations then core financials, accounts payable ....etc. Is it really serious that I have to go this rubbish just to pay the bill? What does that have to do with my invoice? Also, watch the product tour! Give me a break! I need just to pay that bill and get back to work! Please, be more realistic!Anyway, now Im stuck with all that non-sense and fake claims (dont call because your representatives will be unable to process phone payments)... go to sonoraquest.com (to take a tour) .... establish an account to pay ... there is nothing related to the patient (how accurate) ... use accession number ... the system could not match it. Fine. Then, how do I proceed? The biggest surprise was that I thought, when being directed to contact them that they were truthful. After I wasted my time typing in the message then guess what? You get that nerve breaking notice (undefined 403) and you could not even submit your request for help. GMG. I’ve never experienced such fake and untrustworthy website.
We went for the normal blood test and encountered some issues with our fax back. Cynthia A. helped us so much figuring out the issues. Her pleasant personality and expertise was so appreciated. Definitely recommend her and this office.
They have a digital check-in that only allows to enter your name and wait to be called to provide insurance card and lab order. I waited more than half hr to be called just for the lady to tell me they dont accept my insurance. Total waste of time when I am fasting. They need to review their check-in system, its very inefficient. Went to Labcorp and they have digital check-in that scans ID and insurance.
We had a newborn second screen done at this location. Two weeks later, got a call from the Pediatrician office that the lab did not do the procedure correctly and the blood sample of the baby wasnt incorrectly collected onto the circles on the order card. Very disappointed with the service and its upsetting that we have to put our newborn through this again.
I use this lab anytime I need blood work. The place is a Lab. Nothing warm and fuzzy. If you can refrain from bringing your kids...that would be best. This is a boring place for them. Not much fun for adults either. These procedures make adults nervous. ..leave your upset children at home unless they are the patient. ..Please.Lab personnel are great. Im a tough stick so I make Them uptight sometimes. They do their best.
The receptionist gave me a wrong information about the billing with the insurance. I called them after I received a statement and it was a waste of my time. Dont trust anyone over there
Had an appointment for later in the day but they let me come in early. Liv was helpful and friendly.
Staff is rude, and the office doesnt respect their own scheduling policy. I have been here several time, and despite always setting up appointments ahead of time (which is supposed to give you priority at your appointment time)they go by first come first serve. Even when I ask front desk about the policy, they ignore it and state they are doing first come first serve. Very frustrating
This place is a bad joke, with an even worse punchline. The staff is uninformed & uneducated on the products/services they offer. They say whatever they think the customer wants to hear to get them out the door as quickly as possible. I ordered a couple tests and asked 2 staff members to make sure the tests included certain items. After I received the results they in fact did not include what Id asked about. Its supposed to be easy & convenient. Its just a waste of time and money. Strongly suggest going elsewhere.
Walk in or appointment, they do their best to get you in and out and inform you about the cost if your specific insurance doesnt cover it and an option to decline that particular test. If they only offered benches or chairs to people in line who wait for lab to open, it would be awesome 👍
Service was great and I would like to extend major thanks and Kudos to Christy QCH for her service on 01-26-24.
Longest wait times ever. They never have available appointments and when you are a walk-in you wait hours. I arrived at 12 as a walk in and they started taking people back with 1:15/1:30 appointments. Even as a walk in you should be able to get people back before the next wave of appointments.
DONT BRING CHILDREN TO THIS LOCATION!!! I brought my very nervous six-year old daughter here. She even told the phlebotomist she was scared, but there were no words of reassurance from the staff. The phlebotomist didnt really say much to us at all except to ask if my daughter would like to sit on my lap, which she said no. As soon as the needle was inserted, my daughter jerked back, and blood was everywhere. My daughter was hysterically sobbing as I was then reprimanded by phlebotomist for not having her sit on my lap. (I wouldnt have minded doing that, but she made it sound optional rather than critical when she asked earlier. If she had warned me this might happen, I would have gladly sat with her.) Again, there were no words to calm my daughter down or even a sorry. She asked if we wanted to draw the sample on the other arm since we had collected no blood at this point. Meanwhile, my daughter is so hysterical there was no way I could have her work on the other arm. The phlebotomist made me feel like I was in the way and should get moving out of the office if I wasnt going to do the other arm. My daughter hyperventilated practically the whole 15 minute drive home, crying that she never wants to get blood taken ever again. In my opinion, the staff should be coached and trained on how to handle nervous children or even calm down someone who is upset. I felt like I had no empathy at all, and now I have to worry about my daughter having permanent phobias with needles. Im never coming here again!
Doing walk-in lab work here was easy, and didn’t take took long to be taken care of. They have an easy check in touch screen, that reflects on a screen about the order people are taken in. The staff was friendly.
Routine labs and other prevention testing are covered at 100% through my insurance. The way that they billed for routine labs was denied by my insurance company. I tried to get this resolved and had been on phone calls with my insurance company as they tried to get someone to call them back. Sonora Quest waited for over a year before they reached out, and now it’s been too long my insurance company doesn’t do disputes past a year. Sonora Quest finally called me and said yes I don’t know why your insurance company didn’t pay it they should have but it’s too late to dispute now.
I consistently use this location for blood draw and would like to recognize Syed. I have thin, rolling veins, not to mention high anxiety when I have this procedure done. I choose to have the blood drawn from my hand. Syed always puts me at ease with his friendly manner, great confidence, and expertise. I will ask for him every time I go there. The five stars are for him, he is the best.Evelyne J. Tice (DOB 7/8/52)2/25/19
This place is the worst. Dealing with a health issue so been having to have labs drawn frequently. This location is horrible. They dont enforce mask requirements while people are waiting in line. Been there when they open and they open late. Been there around closing they lock the door before the 3pm closing time. Had to get stuck multiple times because they dont listen. Theyre a joke. Go to LabCorp.
I didn’t have an appointment, but I was in and out in under 30 minutes! Edelyn drew my blood and got me on the first try! Everyone was super professional and friendly. Would definitely visit this location again!
Horrible customer service. Front desk staff os very rude and doea not want to speak to the customers. They want you to only communicate with the iPad. This office closes at 3pm. I stepped outside to take a call rather than speak in the waiting room. They did not let me back in! Make sure to be in the waiting room before 2:50 or they will lock you out. Official closing time is a suggestion even if you have already signed in.
This place doesnt communicate with the patients although they provide one on one service. When you go there they dont tell you what theyre going to do. No written or verbal information is provided. Then you learn the services on the bill and they end up with billing you for labwork that youre not supposed to receive.
Have stopped in numerous times and wait times are always 2+ hours for a simple blood draw. Appointments are at least a month out. What a joke
Have been going to this location for 4 years, and they always do a great job. Kudos to Edelyn for my most recent blood draw. No pain, no bruise, as always.
I had the pleasure of meeting Syed today, my phlebotomist, he was so polite and took his time verifying everything. Great experience and god bless him with many more years of hard work & dedication💛 16yrs+ with Sonora Quest💪👑✊
I just had Addie (sp) on the call. I gave her instructions on for a manual biometrics which contains height weight and measurements. Her response was we dont do that here... I replied .... you dont have a scale and a ruler to provide a manual reading of the information?! She needs to be fired and if this is true that Quest cannot provide weight and height and body measurements for a free screening at an of their locations... you need to go out of business... Stop hiring phlebotomist from College America....THE EMPLOYEE is creating these low ratings. Fire her.in response to your lame response.... (1429pm)if there isnt a PERSON at each office to provide manual measurements and a scale to take care of a biometric screening... then go out of business if you cant setup a scale and measuring tape...I will make a request to my insurance company not use Sonora Quest for anything.
I have been going to Sonora Quest for years. I prefer to go out of my way to get my blood drawn from their staff than my own doctors office because I have a fear of having my blood drawn and they are so kind, caring, and patient.
Front office staff was fairly rude, I guess they can get away with it considering there arent many options. Is every person supposed to know the intricate details of your office operation? Disappointing.
Front desk staff is short, rude, and condescending. Based on the other reviews, it’s not just a one off.
Horrible check in associates. Rude. Clueless. Terrible representatives for Sonora Quest. However, Syed, the phlebotomist made up for the inconvenience from office staff.
Have a better attitude when it comes to scared kids! Just dont roll your eyes. My daughter just sat there scared and the tech. Said either sit still or were gonna have to keep trying. Like yeah good job NOT.
Horrible and rude customer service. Paid cash and they wont give me or my doctor the results! I can get them on the portal they say but wont give me instructions for how to do that either! I was told you should know that ... asked for a supervisor and was told there wasnt one but that she was the lead ... what I do know is there are other labs that I will be supporting! Bye Felicia!
On line appt gailed to revordShowe up for nothing
Waited over an hour with an appointment, and the staff is rude.
Veins werent very cooperative today for blood draw but Kiresten Botros was patient and got the job done.
I was there three days ago for a blood test and Maryam did an expectional job, she was excellent!Thank you again from Elenica!
They completely LOST my test results. Although our records indicate that a specimen was received, we are unable to locate the sample for testing.
It is a horrible center. Save your time and go to another location. Waiting time around 2 hours with an appointment
It was 9:05 am, 50+ people waiting inside. The receptionist said it was over an hour wait. I have been fasting and have to try another location.
All my respect to Mr Syed great job sr.
Unprofessional staff and rude. Waited for almost 2 hours!
The staff is friendly and rebecca went above and beyond to get my paper work right. T.y rebecca you rock
Syed is the only one who can get blood from my veins
Quick in and out. The phlebotomist that helped me was kind and chatty which made the visit less dull.
So inefficient. Takes forever even with an appointment. A lot of people work here but work at a snails pace making it such a bad experience.
On the TV in waiting room they are showing inappropriate things for a waiting room pushing their agenda
Quick and painless. Lady who drew my blood was super accurate and quick.
This is where I have taken my daughter since she was a newborn. They are kind and patient with her. They explained everything to her.
Kept fairly close to appointment time I had scheduled.
I love this location . Everyone is so patient and professional with smiles on their faces!
Called to speak with a person at the location and the automated system tells me to press 7 to speak with someone and then it starts all over from the beginning.
Very efficient. Kind. Made an unpleasant blood draw not so bad.
The workers at the front desk are very rude, I would never recommend this location to anyone!
Staff is very friendly and they get u in and out very quickly
Very quick visit and they were excellent with my little boys
Not a place for young child, they don’t know how to handle a child
The ladies at the front desk are always super rude!
Fast in and out, nice talkative phlebotomy tech.
Wait times are in the hours 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Horrible, unfriendly patient service
Poor costumer service and rude staff
