After waiting 10 months for an appointment (the woman who finally scheduled was very pleasant), I received my paperwork via text the day before the appointment, when I had a full day of work and a class between me and the appointment. No email, no portal (MyHealth) setup, nor mention of the portal. The doctor was ok, but after the initial appointment, left me sitting on a table in a robe for more than 25 minutes. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned when I requested my prescription and referral, saying that my record was currently locked, and then giving me attitude as well.Very disappointing experience overall. I had hoped there would be some actual coaching and mid-life support and strategies, including many of the new technologies and recommendations (such as intermittent fasting) that Ive read about. Instead, I felt disrespected and not actually heard.
I do have to say that I feel this practice should not be advertising mid-life. No one there seems to have any updated information on menopausal treatment. They are not menopause experts by any stretch of the imagination.
Today, I called to schedule an annual exam. I spoke with a scheduler after a 5 minute hold. I asked about the next available appointment and was told that would be a month out, once my paper work and records were obtained. She offered to mail the new patient forms. I find this odd in this day and age that they do not have a Patient Portal with fillable forms online nor did she offer to fax or email, blank forms for completion. Most doctor records are now electronic in coordinating care for my 90 year old mother and her many specialists. My primary care physician has a Patient Portal. This is great to schedule, upload the insurance card, ask a question and request a prescription renewal. Time saver for all.
Pathetic excuse for a medical office.Scheduling NEVER answers their phone, we were promised that my wifes pain would be properly managed during pregnancy and it never was. Oh, and dont be 5-10 min late for ANY appointment or they wont see you but they have no problem sitting you in the waiting room for as long as they want.Clearly their time is more valuable than your time or health.
No stars. Rushes appointment, rude, condescending. Has no remorse, not very knowledgeable in endo. I have never had an issue with any gyno specialist like this before.Acts like youre stupid. Very poor interst in the patient.
Dr. Homewood is fantastic and listened to my concerns. My surgery was a success thanks to her. Highly recommend!
