Open on Sunday, and got an appointment in 30 minutes for a nagging blocked right ear. Front desk team member was very helpful with registration, the Tech, Alan, was engaging in my initial screening. The PA, Randy Brush, was very attentive and a good problem solver. Randy and Alan cleared the right ear easily, and noting my unique ear canal structure, checked the left ear to find it blocked, too. Randy also provided me with a preventative plan to avoid this problem occurring in the future. I left feeling better and also confident I found a medical provider team for such future needs!
Nice, professional and kind, all of their staff are very wonderful. Especially Dr. Chawla, the doctor we had appointment with. Her willingness to help was a true blessing for my family and me. Unfortunately, non of us actually live in Chicago, the visit was only an unique event that happened during our trip. But we are very grateful that they are the ones who taken care of us, our gratitude to them.Edit: Yes, it would be our honor to have this review featured on your website. Sorry I dont know how to reply a review, so I am adding this to the original post. And thank you all again.
This clinic was super easy to work with! My insurance is weird but they got it sorted quickly which was amazing. Dr. Tunon was able to see me right away and her and her nurse were very nice and I felt listened to. Even when I had to wait a bit for the xray tech to arrive, Dr. Tunon made sure to keep me updated on their eta so I wasn’t left hanging for too long. I would definitely come back (although I hope I don’t have to ;) )
Staff there for me and my experience seem like we already knew each other, very detail oriented and sympathetic to your needs at the same time maintaining a professional balance between you as a client and them being staff. It was a very very enjoyable experience. Elizabeth Kowynia with her conversation was very professional in her duties while making me as comfortable as possible.
I went in on a Saturday for a fractured foot and was seen quickly and with care. The staff is super nice and followed up with me multiple times to see how I was doing while I waited for the xray tech. I appreciated all of the documentation I received, as well as the doctor’s note so I could freeze my gym membership. There is a parking lot at this facility!
I had to come in for a Pre-Employment screening that included a drug screen and a quantiferon blood draw. The entire team from the front office to the nurse that helped draw my blood was very nice and even though I was a walk in was able to attend to me promptly. Highly recommend this location and their staff.
Very quick and efficient visit. The PA was very knowledgeable and helpful. My issue was taken care of in less than an hour and I was sent an organized email with all my paperwork. I was also given referrals for doctors to follow up with on my broken finger.
Do not go here this place is a scam. They stated they would not see me unless I paid $120.00 out of pocket though I have full insurance and never pay any co-insurance. They stated it was the company policy and I would be refunded this amount as soon as my insurance paid the bill. I asked to see the policy in which they were unable to provide it. The lady at the desk insured me her boss would give me a call to explain it which I never received (not surprised). So, I paid the $120 and they also billed my insurance which paid them. I was never refunded my money or contacted at all by this company. This is a fraudulent company that bills both you and your insurance. Do not go here.
When I came it was empty. In an out within 30-40 minutes only because I had alot of questions. Very polite. Loved the experience
I went into Physicians Immediate Care (on Clybourn) on a Sunday morning and was lucky enough to be treated by Adrian and Dr. Deshmukh. I cannot express how impressed and grateful I am for their willingness to listen, take me seriously, and help. Adriane, in particular, had one of the most welcoming, kind, compassionate, and empathetic bedside manners Ive experienced. She was efficient, competent, capable, and was an extraordinary listener. These two women helped me on a day when I really needed it and I wish there were more health care providers like them.
This place is awesome. I was directed there after another urgent care did not accept my insurance. The staff was amazing, zero wait time, x-rays and dx within 1 hour. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Allow me to express the fact there is not enough stars to show my appreciation for every individual i encountered. From the moment i walked in i was greeted with a sincere smile from the receptionist. I waited approximately 10minutes before my name was called by LaTasha i believe is her name and this womans energy and personality was magical. She was attentive and made sure I was comfortable until I was seen by a female doctor who made me feel like she honestly was listening and concerned about my issues. I needed an x-ray and the technician that came to get me was just the icing on my cake. I was there a maximum of 45minutes and to honest its the first time in my life i wasn’t in a rush to leave a clinic/hospital. The facility was clean, smelled nice which is ALWAYZ a bonus. Thank you to the staff……
Got my blood drawn for work there. Got called back because they took the wrong tube of blood, the results are insane. My arms look so bad, got poked 5 times total. One with the wrong tube and 4 the following day.The nurse was so sweet but it was a little painful and stressful.
Quick but also thorough treatments. They know what they are doing, and Adrienne made me laugh during all my tests even though I was very sick and down. Dr. Tunon was very kind and thorough as well. 🫶
This was amazing clean and speedy. the guy serving us seemed annoyed that we were here and needed a x-ray but overall amazing staff they provided the best urgent care service ever! 5stars
AVOID. The service is quality; I needed some stitches, would NOT recommend AT ALL as they will make payment IMPOSSIBLE. They will not accept any payment in office and the mandatory phone payment system is TERRIBLE.
We had an amazing experience at the Clybourn location. My 4.5 year old daughter was terrified of throat swabs. She was sobbing, hiding under a chair, etc. The person who came in to do the swab, Raya, was incredible. Raya connected with my daughter emotionally, helped her regulate her emotions in a way that I was unable to do, and in the end my daughter willingly chose to do the swab, and even opted to do it a second time for faster results from the rapid test. This location is not close to our home but in the future, if I can, I might call ahead to see who is working there because Raya is a hero.
I normally go to a different PIC, but I moved and decided to try this one. I just needed a TB screen done and have had a rough experience before when getting my blood drawn, but Adriann R. got me on the first try. She was very kind, receptive to what I was saying, and did an amazing job. Reception and the PA were also nice and I plan on making this my PIC home base.
Talk about an efficient, friendly and caring urgent care experience. I went in yesterday due to a minor scooter accident the week before where I didn’t seek care when it happened. My knee began swelling in pain and pressure days later and this place was top tier in providing me with much needed labs to ensure nothing was fractured or broken. I really appreciate the scheduling system and ease of seeing someone. My new go to for non medical emergencies.
Love this location! From the gals at the front desk to the assistant nurses and the doctors! They are all amazing! They take their time with patients and really know how to care and treat everyone! 💙🙏🏼
Always a good experience with the staff. Scheduling and check in easy. This time was right on time my only complaint is other appointments a little slow to get me in but all other aspects have been good
I had a disappointing experience at this clinic. I accompanied my family members for a medical examination, only to be blindsided by unexpected additional charges for a consultation. The total cost was outrageously high, prompting us to seek services elsewhere. To make matters worse, the staff at the reception were unhelpful when I requested a refund, directing me to contact the billing department. Despite following their instructions and waiting patiently, I was met with further frustration as the charges were untraceable when I tried to pursue a refund. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. I would caution others to be wary of hidden fees and poor customer service at this establishment.
The service is fine. HOWEVER, ever since they were bought by WellNow, they have changed their billing policy and they DO NOT tell you this up front. I went in for a visit on 2/08/24 and they asked for my health insurance card which I provided. They requested a copay but in reality, the copay was in no way linked to what my insurance was paying (so they never really verified the benefits with my insurance before charging me what, in effect, is a deposit). Since I used my FSA card, the random deposit amount I paid is way above what I should have paid, now that my insurance paid their claim. So I am stuck in a nightmarish hell (and complete waste of my time due entirely to their deceptive billing practices) arguing between my FSA custodian and WellNow billing because they owe me money which I need to pay back to my FSA (who has been rejecting my expense since February).UPDATE: I have still not received a refund for the amount that my insurance covered; the caim was paid 3/28 and these clowns are still withholding payment!!! If youre not into bureaucratic red tape and wasting countless hours on the phone with them, avoid this place like the plague!
I love the service I always get at Physicians Immediate Care. I have used two different locations and the customer service is great throughout. The online registration is extremely helpful and efficient. The option to pre-register makes the waiting time super fast. The staff is friendly and the providers have been very knowledgeable and helped our family in multiple occasions. Highly recommended!
When I can’t get into my primary care physician, this is the place I go.The P.A.s are fast, efficient and extremely responsive to patients. All staff are friendly and helpful.
I made an appointment at this urgent care late in a Monday night and had to wait about 20 minutes before being seen by the nicest nurses and PA. They listened to what I was feeling and took several test. The PA was very attentive to my symptoms and ordered me an antibiotic. They checked up on my through text and phone calls and the overall process was seamless. I will be coming back the next time in sick
A very satisfying experience with the team at this facility. From the receptionist to the medical tech to the PA, everyone was very courteous and professional.
I love going there because of the staff. Great customer service and actually listen to patients.
This urgent care location was great! I booked an appointment but ended up going 2 hours earlier to get it done, and I only waited about 10 to 15 minutes to be seen, which is much less than other urgent care facilities Ive been to. The physicians assistant was so understanding and calming, especially bc the procedure I needed done was painful. She was very good and I would highly recommend her to other patients, her name is Brittany Tunon.Edited to include, yes you have my consent to post on your website. The Google review system wont let me reply to your reply.
Extremely fast service. I made an appointment and was in and out in 20 minutes. Brittney was very nice and helpful!
I have always had excellent experiences at Physicians Immediate Care. The medical staff as well as the receptionist staff are always knowledgeable, supportive, and kind. Patients are treated with respect and they always follow up the next day to see how you are coming along.
I dont know how are you dedicated to take care of patients if no one answered your clinic phone just some stupid automated answering machine talking about nothing for 15 minutes sending you on a website
Brittany Tunon was very helpful and took care of me. She did an excellent job. Thank you for your help and time.
They always do a great job and I go here with some frequency! Great bedside manner, wonderful treatment, smooth processing!Edit: Dear Physicians Immediate Care, Please feel free to use this review wherever youd like. I cant figure out how to respond to your request directly.
I walked in and was treated almost immediately for pink eye. Drops were prescribed which I picked up at Walgreens and I’m feeling much better now. I would recommend this place to anyone!
The staff is incredibly kind, supportive, and efficient. As a nurse myself I pay attention to the little things and I was so impressed with this clinic and the entire staff that I will definitely be back to this location for any urgent care needs. They made a really stressful experience positive for my husband and I. Highly recommend! Also we didn’t even feel the blood draws she was so smooth! And my husband is terrified of needles!
When I saw the provider on sat morning, he was great. But i am still seriously unhappy that I arrived at 7.10pm on Friday (having checked website before leaving, that said 8-23 min wait.i had pain and fever so wouldnt have left bed otherwise) the woman on front desk said they werent taking walk-ins. The waiting room was empty. She clearly wanted to finish early on a Friday night which I understand but leaving patients to suffer for an extra night because you dont want to take patients during business hours is unacceptable.
Half the staff was pretty friendly. The PA was great. Absolutely miserable experience trying to get my basic prescription over to Walgreens. Spent 1 hour in automated phone trees trying to contact a human while I had a fever and felt like garbage and the staff here kept telling me to call the pharmacy and have Walgreens call physicians immediate care and ask about my prescription. Makes zero sense. I still don’t have my medicine and now I have to wait until tomorrow to take some of them.
Customer service was great! i called to check the hours and the rep was so nice, helpful and encouraging (compared to other locations called same day) they were able to accept me as a walk- in. The service was prompt, and very clean. Nicely decorated for the harvest season. Thanks Y’all!
I never had a problem with staff, everyones always been nice although they REALLY need professional cleaners, considering its a MEDICAL building. Stop being so ridiculously CHEAP.The nurse told me THEY do the cleaning (when I told her about the filthy painting) and I was BEYOND HORRIFIED. Had I done it, you could eat off the bathroom floor (not the case now, I can see the dirt by baseboards from standing, and in this case, it needs a hardcore bleach hands and knees scrubbing, based on it needing to be EXTREMELY CLEAN) and I saw obvious heavy dust on a painting in an exam room that PEELED OFF in strips when I went to check it out!Thats AT LEAST 5 years of it not being touched. At my old, very dusty house with 2 shedding dogs, that would have been a very long time to get dust like that. Say like 3+ years. Thats why I say a newer medical building has to be a good 5 years of not cleaning the nasty pictures.I actually DID offer to clean it for them. No joke. Because you WOULD be able to eat off the bathroom floor. Yes, Ive cleaned. It was the cleanest the private club had been in 34 years, I was told.
Very good experience here. They were very thorough and did all the tests necessary. Everyone very kind from the start.
I had a very positive experience at Physicians Immediate Care. I was in and out in a timely manner and an X-ray confirmed I did not have a broken bone. The staff is very kind and caring.
I have gone to this urgent care facility multiple times for various medical issues. I received great care and was treated very well. The staff, doctors, physicians assistants, nurses, med techs and front desk are always welcoming, professional and address my questions and concerns/provide good medical advice and treatment. I also appreciate that there is always follow up by the facility.
I came here early on a week day, with only two people ahead of me. The wait was over an hour. Fine. The physician assistant was fine, she seemed to listen to my concerns. The nurse, Brittney, acted like my mere presence was an inconvenience to her. No good morning or any other form of greeting. She took my vitals, which was just SPO2 and blood pressure. She asked my height and weight but didnt actually check herself. On my record, she recorded an oral temperature but didnt actually take one.I needed X-rays on my foot and had to wait almost another hour for this. They told me the person who took X-rays travels around. Not sure why nobody else knew how to take a simple X-ray when the machine was right in the building.Nothing was found and they said I could try compression on my foot with an ace bandage. Brittney came in again to wrap my foot and asked if I wanted my toes wrapped. How would I know? Shouldnt you guys know how and what extent to wrap?I wont come here again. Ive been to another location for physicians immediate care and also didnt have a good experience. Not going to come to any of these locations for care again.
The staff and doctors here are phenomenal took amazing care of me if you need a place where you find people who are compassionate and caring. This is the place to go.
Every time there was a need in urgent med care, Physicians Immediate Care doctors were able to see us, unlike other urgent clinics that required a prior appointment in urgent care, as if one knows in advance when the emergency is going to strike. Thank you for always providing real immediate care!
The intake nurse Ms. Jeanette, at the front desk was nice, friendly and quick with getting me and my child seen . Dr. Gormley was just as phenomenal as the clerk . She took her time with us and answering any question. The doctor offered any additional exams if I wanted. Immediate great care is what we received!
She was thorough, compassionate and efficient. She explained everything and still asked if I had questions.
I will be eternally grateful to Physicians Immediate Care. Without them I would not have known I had COVID. Because I was late going in my quarantine period was brief and I did not cause anyone else to catch it. Thank you for being here!
Everyone at this location was helpful and very friendly. They were able to schedule appointments I needed in a very timely fashion and gave excellent care recommendations. I felt listened to, cared for and my medical needs well met. Facility was bright, spotless and well organized.
I would avoid any of the Physician Immediate Care locations in Chicago like the plague. I have been a handful of times (~10 now) and have never received adequate treatment due to their treatment protocol it seems is in place. What I mean by this is, if you do not test positive for an illness, you will not receive any sort of medication or treatment regimen. They do not allow the PAs to treat you based on their education or gut feeling, but rather a SOP that is clearly in place. Most recently I was told that I likely had a cold that was going around and that I should drink fluids and get rest, I told them that something was clearly wrong and that my illness was something that was unordinary for my body. Nothing was prescribed. I ended up going to the Northwestern Urgent Care the next day after my chest pains and cough persisted and was treated for pneumonia. Moral of the story, trust your body and not what the medical professionals here tell you and go to an urgent care in the city that is sponsored by your medical group (Advocate/Northwestern/etc.). Safe to say I have visited Physicians Immediate Care for the last time.
I was very careful choosing a medical clinic since so many have a bad reputation. I can safely say this place is a good choice if you need care. The facility itself is very clean and comforting. The front desk staff were polite and able to get me signed into their system right away. A nurse was able to start examination with me only about 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, which I consider pretty good. The physician assistant was very helpful and attentive to all of my needs and concerns. Id say if you need immediate care, you wont go wrong with this place. These people take their patients and their business very seriously.
I came in for a physical exam and my physician, Mary, went above and beyond. I have never in my life felt so seen and respected by a doctor until today. I almost started crying right there on the exam table. If you’re looking for queer friendly physician- go to Mary! They’re amazing.
I suspected my son had another ear infection. We have been going to innovative in the past, but we had where they sent his prescriptions incorrect twice. They were already closed, so we had to wait the next day. Decided this time to go to PIC. Front desk was so nice, office is adorable and decorated for Halloween making it a great atmosphere for children because it isn’t intimidating. My son is severely autistic, nonverbal, and will not wear a mask and doesn’t like to be touched. Everyone… I mean EVERYONE was so sweet to my baby. No questions asked about his autism, treated him so gentle and kind, and because of all of this he sat well and let Anne look into his ear well. Anne and the PCT (wish I got her name!) were so sweet, and I appreciate them so much! We went late in the day (7:45pm) after my son’s ABA therapy, and we weren’t rushed at all. Thank you PIC!!!!!! Will definitely recommend in my autism parents support groups.
I needed a Covid test and prescription medication on a Sunday holiday. They were open!I was so fortunate, visiting from out of town. The staff was wonderful! They even went out of their way to find an open pharmacy nearby! Thanks to them I began my recovery right away with the proper medication.Amazing! So grateful. Thank you!
I was VERY pleased with th 2nd office I went to. At the first place on Milwaukee, for my worers comp follow up, I had an appointment and they didnt bother to call to let me know there was no provider. I had to lose an extra day from work to find a new clinic, but Im glad I found the other office on Clybourn. They were WONDERFUL!
Employees are not accomodating, helpful or understanding. I highly recommend choosing somewhere else.
Worst location! I have been here a couple of times based on that they have the most availability for appointments. However, I always have issues with this location and their staff being unprofessional. My last visit was on 12/9/22 was only supposed to come in for X-rays for my daughter. The nurse Simone was very rude and unprofessional. They wanted to commit insurance fraud by redoing a visit (I was here based on the day before going to a different location but they had their technician out sick -until further notice). Long story short they did not want to help me and told me to figure it on my own. Will avoid this location from now on.
I went to PIC with symptoms of a mild bronchitis. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the doctor competent and caring. He did a chest XRay and prescribed some medicine. It took less than an hour and they gave me a nice printed summary with instructions. I was very pleased with the experience and will definitely go back when needed.
Everyone here is so caring, empathetic, helpful, and competent. I stopped in for an x ray of my foot and found out that I sprained and fractured it. I am so glad that I went here instead of the emergency room. They took me right away and gave me results within minutes. The dr. was very empathetic and informative - she seemed to truly care about my situation. The nurse helped me adjust my crutches and gave me some helpful tips on how to move around more safely. I am very pleased with my experience here and would highly recommend it when you need immediate care as I did.
Not the outcome i expected. But the level of care and concern was close to church. Probably the kindest doctor experience I’ve had.
Super kind, nice, and professional staff. You can feel there that the medical personnel indeed cares for their patients. The nurse at the front desk was very efficient in dealing with the patients. The waiting time was less than 10 minutes. Everyone was wearing a mask inside, and there was enough room for the patients to sit at least 6 feet apart from each other. There were also bottles of hand sanitizer at each corner. During the visit I felt safe, taken care of, and important. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for both, quality and attention in medical services.
I was completely satisfied with my experience at Physicians Immediate Care. I booked online for the same afternoon. I was seen shortly after arriving and I had very positive interactions with the staff I encountered. I needed an X-ray which was immediately available. I was treated warmly and professionally from beginning to end. Should the need occur, I would immediately contact this office.
Never go here.. they are the worst.. physician assistants don’t know what they are doing… also they want full cash upfront even when you have met your deductible through a reputable insurance company like United heathcare.. this place should be shut down.. its malpractice.. never seen this level of incompetence..they even misdiagnosed my wife’s pneumonia as normal cold and did not even do her xray and gave her no medicine and she then went to steroids at another clinic..
I understand there’s a pandemic and patient overload is a thing. However my appointment was at 10:10 for a simple test, I wasn’t brought back until 10:34 at which time I informed the MA that I had to leave before 11. She understood and did her best to expedite the process at 10:48 I was waiting for test results and I indicated to a nurse outside I had to go. Her suggestion was we cancel the appointment - I had already given a sample for testing so I said no at which point she reminded me there were other patients. Again I get it, but I had another appointment at 11 that could not be missed. She seemed to not understand that I didn’t have a choice in this so she quickly gave me my results and let me go. What blew my mind was 1) I was sitting in a room for 18 minutes waiting for a doctor who was running behind to give me negative results (what a waste of time when an MA or nurse could have given me the results ASAP and let me go 2) the fact that there were only 2 other patients in the office. I clicked all the rooms and only 2 were closed and the secretaries were discussing how most of the patients were no shows that day. Be upset with my urgent tone all you want but there was absolutely no reason for this appoint to have gone as it did.I returned this week to get tested for bronchitis. My appointment was at 11. I wasn’t brought into the room with the MA until 11:34. The PA didn’t come in to see me until 11:50 - she was in there for 2 minutes, refused to test me for bronchitis even after I asked and told me to take another Covid test (which I’d done and was negative) and stay hydrated. I’ve had a painful chest cough for a week. She didn’t look me in the eye at all and her entire tone to me was dismissive “we can’t do anything, bye”. I truly hate this place. It’s dirty, run down, and the staff absolutely suck.
They made me pay the whole invoice upfront even I stated I had an insurance. I submitted a claim with my insurance and they also made a payment to them. Not they received a double payment and I’m looking to get my money back. However, it’s been a week and no one is responding, this is very frustrating
As someone new to the area I had heard horror stories of the urgent care in the Chicagoland area. This was not the case here everything was easy and smooth. I set up the appointment online, arrived 15 minutes early and was out of there within 30 minutes. My only suggestion is if a prescription is needed just have them print that off and take it directly to the pharmacy. There was a little bit of a lag between the office sending my prescription and the pharmacy receiving it.
Very professional, respectful, and helpful. Didnt have to wait long either :-).
Would give a zero if I could. Stay away from primary care at this location. While I have been in twice already this year I was denied a needed prescription refill on terms that I needed to come back into the office again this year. I found myself in a pinch where 2 rx’s ran out before I was leaving the country for 2 weeks and they could not accommodate even a 30 day supply until I came back. Thankfully I was able to get my prescriptions through and online telehealth provider outside of physicians immediate care but I can’t believe my own provider would deny me important prescriptions that don’t require a doctors visit multiple times a year.Additionally earlier this year I had a horrendous experience using a referral service from them. Not only did they screw up the scheduling but they did not send over important medical information.I spent my appointment trying to get this information faxed over from them. Additionally they sent me in for a service that I didn’t need for another 6 months. The doctor from the place they sent me was thankfully patient but couldn’t believe they screwed this up so bad. They have wasted enough of my time, I will not be coming back and I advise others to stay away.
This review is specifically for Latasha. She was the person who worked with me through the entirety of my immigration medical exam. She was very thorough and explained the process of the exam step-by-step so I was aware of how everything would proceed. She makes you feel at ease and does her best to accommodate your schedule. Another big plus - she is a very skilled phlebotomist! She had to draw my blood for a few tests and it didn’t hurt! Most people are pretty careless and don’t seem to take the extra caution to do it in a way that is the least painful - but she does. I would come back here just from the positive interactions I had with Latasha.
Been using this clinic as immediate care for a few years. unfortunately this time they turned me away due to a bill from 2018 they said when I was just at the same immediate care about 4-5 weeks before for a separate issue and this bill was never brought to my attention. The office couldn’t provide any details about the bill besides the billing phone number and all they did was request a statement which took 2 days to receiveI feel as if I was forced to pay the bill as this office says it’s policy to not carry a balance, however I saw a physician for stitches a few weeks before and no mention of bill from 2018. Missing a bill is not something I would ever do so this came as a huge surprise and still sorting it out with billing and my bank.Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, personally and as a former corporate client, it’s been nothing but issues.
My experience here was great! I was told when to come in with the online waiting system and only waited a few minutes when I arrived. The staff was very friendly and answered my concerns. I would recommend this place for your urgent care needs!
The front desk staff member was very polite, and informative when I visited. Many patients arrived at the same time, so it took awhile to be seen, but the medical assistant kept me updated while I waited. The attending physician was great when I finally saw him. He took the time to listen to my issue, and was very thorough with the exam and care.
Used to go to this facility for primary care. They switched to urgent care (only), without giving any notice. I just tested positive for COVID, I’m pregnant and I needed a prescription for Paxlovid. They were going to require an in person urgent care appointment which was very upsetting and delayed my care. Will not be going to this facility or Dr. Kathya Chartre anymore.
Excellent experience at this facility. The online reservation and registration made it easy to just walk in at my appointment time. The nurse was friendly and professional. The PA was thorough and explained their diagnosis. The facility was exceptionally clean and organized. Very happy with my experience.
Physicians Immediate Care is on point. They are friendly, polite and very concerning.with their patients There was not a lot of paper work to fill out for your first time visit which I love dearly. I did not have to wait long at all. I love how clean this clinic is. It seems like a small hospital
I visited Saturday morning and was well taken care of by the staff. Dr. Josh was clear and transparent with his diagnosis, and the staff ran a number of tests out of an abundance of caution. I left feeling much better, and they even followed up later to see if I had any additional questions.
My girlfriend and I were outside with her grandma at 7:53 with an urgent emergency (her grandma was having an allergic reaction and was afraid of a throat closure). They were in there; we could see them and they could see us. They looked at us eye to eye and turned away as fast as they could. Then, a few minutes later (still before 8) another woman saw us and turned off the lights. I understand it was close to closing time but the least they could do is acknowledge our presence and give us directions to another urgent care facility.
First visit was without an appointment. Very slow (almost 2 hour wait and about another 2 hours for the actual appointment). But the doctor and nurse were very good and I was happy with the care.Second visit was WITH appointment. I arrived on time and checked in. I waited almost an hour and still wasnt seen. I was told multiple times they are just cleaning the room and your next but I kept waiting and waiting... Eventually I left because I thought the wait and untruthful communication were not excusable. Finally I called to see if I could get a copy of my records. I was told they could not provide over email or phone and I had to come in person. When I asked if that really was the only way, the person on the phone said its the law, we dont have a choice. Of course thats not true. Yes they have to comply with HIPAA but HIPAA does not say you can only provide records in person.. completely not true.
I took my sister to this location for a physical exam with a civil surgeon and we were seen by Dr. Arti Chwala. Her professionalism and kindness is simply impressive! What an unexpected surprise to meet such a wonderful physician! Also, a big thank you for Odra for going above and beyond to make our appointment and follow up with us and make sure we get this physical done on time! We are so thankful to both of them! Thank you so much ladies!
I would be very cautious going to this Urgent Care. I know there are many other 1 star reviews here around poor service and bed side manner but we had an incident where we were given inconsistent information from the medical professionals which is honestly very dangerous.I brought my Fiancé to this urgent care because she was having a lot of pain in her abdominal area. From the initial diagnosis, appendicitis was not fully ruled out and a CT scan was ordered. We were then told that it would be ok to eat before the CT scan (you cannot you must fast). Additionally, when we went to the imaging facility referred to from this office for the CT scan there was not even a radiologist on site to interpret the results. Additionally, we were not told to go to the ER immediately and when calling again today with a different doctor from this same urgent care we were being instructed to head to the ER immediately. And all they could say is I’m not sure why the initial doctor yesterday recommended the diagnosis they made. This is so unprofessional and negligent and honestly endangering to patients and all we were offered was a sorry.
I went in for a Covid test and strep test after feeling under the weather for a few days with various symptoms. Making the appointment online was very easy. I received a link to fill out all the paperwork online beforehand. As per the instructions I texted that I had arrived 15 minutes before the appointment time. Waited in the car and the triage nurse called me and took my symptoms. They called me in at the appointment time and I was seen by that nurse immediately in my exam room. Tests were taken and when the results were complete, the doctor came to take an exam and give me the results. Wonderful experience! Thank you! Can highly recommend Immediate Care!
Do not bother. Only one star because zero isn’t an available option.I’ve seen a doctor at this clinic for 2 years as my primary care doctor, mostly for a prescription. Yesterday, I had a 1 hour and 45 minute wait for a follow up appointment, and they MESSED UP the prescription documents, by leaving some information off of it. So, now I have to go until next Tuesday without medication, AND I have to burn a vacation day (again) to get to the appointment to make this happen, because my doctor is “out of town”, and no one else is willing to help.Just the most terrible place ever, totally ridiculous.
Waited for 70 minutes to see someone despite making an appointment ahead of time. Worst part was that no one told me they were running late and I likely had a long wait. I understand delays happen, but they could have told me so I could decide whether to stay or reschedule. Despite technology to tell you where you are in line, there is no way to know how long the patients ahead of you are going to take.
PA Tunon was amazing at taking care of me while I was sick I greatly appreciate all the staff there very friendly and caring! I would highly recommend 🙌🏽
I’d avoid coming here if you’re having any chest problems. They did a chest X-ray and kicked me out to deal with other patients. Didn’t call me for a week so I called to get the results which they just said was in the clear. I went to a primary 2 weeks later as my symptoms only got worse. I’ve had pneumonia for 2 months and it was supposedly pretty obvious on the chest X-ray the primary doc did. Waste of time and money.
Not open called automated messages indicating being open … drove there and no lights locked door
Bit of a wait as I was walk in.Staff was very friendly and professional. Both Doctor and PA were knowledgeable and caring.Dianosed and treated effectively with meds sent over to my pharmacyVery pleased and will use again if needed
The staff from reception to nursing to my physician was the best Ive ever received at an immediate care center. Nurses were great with history questions and informative on procedures and I have to point out the client care of Dr. Fernandez. He was empathetic, listened and explained everything in terms any patient could understand. He was thorough and kindAs a former R.N., my expectations are sometimes high and the care received surpassed my expectations.
Hardly any wait on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Overall, the whole experience was really as enjoyable as a trip to get an injury treated can be. Frictionless and smooth. Highly recommend this clinic.
Several issues with my experience here. First, people are coming in covid symptomatic to get tested for covid and all the people that are in for non-covid things have to sit in the stuffy waiting room for over an hour with these people.Second, I came in for a non-covid illness, and two people who also did not have appointments walked in 20 minutes after me for covid tests and for reasons beyond my imagination they were both helped first.Third, I came, explained why I was there, they took my info and then I filled out the registration on my phone. After several covid symptomatic people came in I decided to go wait in my car and the front desks texts me asking me to remind them why I came in. So I again explained. Then when it was finally my turn, they call and say “you’re here for covid testing?” So for the third time I had to re-explain why I was there. Super unprofessional.Staff was otherwise friendly and polite, facility was clean, but what does that matter considering everything else.Final note - we seem to have lost sight of the purpose of immediate care. People seem to use it as their primary care doctor and appointments are necessary, as a result people who come in spur the moment needing actual urgent care have super long wait times.
The PA and medical asst were amazing! They treated me with kindness and respect. So thorough and professional.. I was very impressed and happy I chose this location.
The care we received was wonderful. Staff went the extra mile to connect with my 5 year old and make him feel comfortable and yet did a thorough exam. We left with peace of mind and a happy kid. Highly recommend.
Save your time and go elsewhere. I made the mistake of scheduling a 3-dose vaccine at this location and have made appointments for all 3. I ended up waiting for over an hour twice and waited more than 30 minutes on the last one. Once, I was told that they didnt actually have the vaccine and had to go to another branch to pick it up even though I had made the appointment specifically for this vaccine. They have also managed to botch my name and date of birth even though I had typed both online on their registration system, and had to go through so many hoops for them to find me in their system tp schedule my 2nd and 3rd appointment. The doctor was nice was I finally got to see her, but the staff are highly incompetent, they give conflicting information, and definitely not the kind of staff you want to be handling your medical records. I feel such a relief that Im done with them and I hope this review saves someone else the time and hassle from dealing with this place.
They conduct business in bad faith. During these times many people need to take rapid tests. They have found a way to make more money by combining this with another exam which they even charge more for ($165) than the rapid test itself ($75). On the website they also do not combine the amounts and therefore make it unclear what the final cost is. The nurse was very nice and accommodating. I had a high blood pressure when I went in which was caused by this frustration. She asked the potential cause of high blood pressure so I shared my feedback with her. She admitted that many customers are giving her the same feedback. I am a US citizen however live abroad and therefore insurance wouldn’t cover. Very disappointing to see this being taken advantage of.
Front desk people are great and I liked the doc I saw but I’m not a big fan of this place. I’m a nurse so I knew when I got a vaccine that it was going into the wrong site on my arm. I also knew that a different girl who drew my blood who first rubbed alcohol on my arm and then blew on it with her mouth was not qualified to be doing the procedure. I want to like the place because people are nice but I don’t think people are getting the basic training they need to function properly here.
An awesome experience..Tiffany made it so worth my time to go downtown. She was so sure of herself, kind , wonderful bedside manor as well as a plethora of knowledge.I FINALLY found a Dr. that helped me and gave me confidence that all will be Ok.So thank you to everyoneLynne Barnett
I visited a few months ago, when I arrived the woman at the front desk told me she was not sure they accepted my insurance. I proceeded to call my insurance company to ask if I would be covered. While on the phone with them I received a text from the woman at the front desk saying we will call you when we are ready, your insurance went through :). When I saw this, I got off the phone and went in for my visit. After receiving this text my understanding was that my visit would be covered. When I received the bill for my visit a few months later it was not covered what so ever, I had to pay the entire thing out of pocket. I explained the situation to a supervising billing agent to which she told me there is nothing they can do and that it was not their fault. I realize that I should have clarified with my insurance company before taking their word for it but the text I received was extremely misleading and the fact that they dont want to fix their mistake is why I am giving them one star and will never return to any of the physicians immediate cares again.
I made an appoint online for a COVID rapid test and was very pleased with how quickly I was able to get in. This is important for obvious reasons.I had to take pictures of my license and insurance card before I could get my appointment confirmed. I did so and got my appointment for the next morning.I arrived and had to wait in the car until I would be allowed in. Not a big deal as this seems pretty standard these days.I received a call asking for some information which I had already provided online, but gave it again. Next I received a text stating I had to email my license and insurance card (front and back of both) to an email address. I had already done that the previous day when making the appointment, but I did it again as required. I then received a call from the person who would actually be administering the test and who ultimately let me in the clinic. It was about 25 minutes past my appointment time before I was let in.The test was quick, the personnel was friendly and I received my result in approximately ten minutes which I couldn’t have been more pleased with. All in all, despite what I would consider a lengthy “check in” process given I thought I’d done everything the previous day when making the appointment, I’d highly recommend Physicians Immediate Care for a rapid COVID test.
Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The physician was very kind and clearly explained my fracture and what I needed next. They even contacted the physician I needed to see next.
Everyone from start to finish was extremely kind and caring for my son who hurt his arm. Dr. Chartre took extra time to show him his X-Rays of his broken arm and turned it into great experience. We are very thankful for everyone there and will definitely go back :)
I was feeling stomach pain overnight but didn’t want to wait during an ER visit and my regular doctor’s office isn’t open on weekends, so I found PIC online (thankfully covered by my insurance). I made an appointment for 9am next morning but arrived early and they saw me before 9am. Overall great service. Staff were very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. Definitely will come back if I require urgent care that doesn’t warrant an ER visit.
The nurses were very friendly and compassionate. They helped me feel comfortable while drawing some blood and showing me how to use my wrist braces for carpal tunnel. Much appreciated!
Consistently quick and easy access to care. This location has always given me and my family great care that is available same-day. I am so thankful for their service. Staff are knowledgeable and check-in is seamless.
What an excellent experience! I was very ill and everyone was so kind and helpful. Special thanks to Simone. Dr. Chartre took time to listen to my symptoms The facility was excellent. I have no doubt that if I have another emergency, that this is where I would return.
Booked day-of appointment for a rapid covid-19 test. Despite having appointment, I waited 45 minutes in a nearly empty waiting room before being put in an exam room. In total I was there for around an hour and 15 minutes for a 5 second nose swab. Two stars for easy parking and clean facility.
Doctors and nurses are great, friendly and thorough. Never have to wait more than 20 minutes, but usually make an appointment online day of. They see kids as young as two or three, so makes treating pink eye and ear infections so much easier than going to the pediatrician. I don’t have a normal primary care doctor because it’s so easy to go here when you need something. Free parking is a nice plus!
All employees of the Physicians Immediate Care facility that I visited were very professional, efficient and congenial. I was very impressed and grateful for their excellent assistance in getting my first COVID19 vaccine. I look forward to getting my second vaccine at the same facility and Im very grateful for their help.
I had many visits to different facilities in Lincoln Park and service is good in both, but billing is always an issue. Doctor told us that follow up visit is $40, but nobody clarified that it is only true for self-pay. When going through insurance, they charge a full rate for second visit and with my plan i ended up paying $100 more than if i select self-pay (which would be an obvious choice should i know about it in advance). At first i dont understand why is there difference in cost for the same service, people with insurance pay lot more than with cash. At second - the absolute unwilling to adjust cost by billing office. Will think twice next time before selecting this place for care
Thank you to the staff at the Clybourn location. Everyone here was professional, kind and helpful. Everyone was upholding the proper CDC guidelines for COVID so I felt safe. I also love that its within walking distance to my Apt. It’s nice to have the option for an urgent/immediate care clinic in my neighborhood. 5/5 stars all day.
I came here at 7pm on Friday night, because a persistent bronchitis was not getting better, and I felt hot, and weak. I have a tendency to get pneumonia, but was hoping that was not the case. I had been on no medication except some over the counter things to help me sleep and function. The staff here is wonderful. Friendly, attentive, unhurried, kind and professional. The bonus is that if you do need an extra, it can be done immediately here. Turns out I have pneumonia, and within an hour I was out the door and headed to pick up my prescriptions. Overall GREAT experience. Highly recommended
My experience at Physicians was wonderful. All those involved with my intake, the receptionist, the nursing assistant and the physicians assistant all separately wished me well which was so nice. Most of the time I feel like a cash machine in emergency care facilities but I left feeling like a patient at Physicians. They were able to prescribe me the medicine I needed to treat my acute sinus infection and spotted I had an ear infection, which PA’s at Northwestern Med missed. Thank you!
I went to Physicians immediate care because my primary doctor was booked and I needed to be seen immediately. The staff was friendly from the check in process through the appointment. My doctor even called me to follow up to ensure the medications I was prescribed were working effectively. Definitely recommend!
I made an appointment online, registered and did as much check in as possible before, got there early, checked in … and still had a 45 minute wait with my baby daughter with no explanation or update given. We just sat in silence in the lobby. If you need a covid test save your time and just go to “innovative express care” nearby they are much faster and more professional. Everyone gets a busy day… but to leave a baby in your knobby for 45 minutes with no update is unprofessional.Update: During the visit, multiple sets of equipment either failed to measure my baby’s vitals or else was being used incorrectly by the staff and could not get a reading. An example would be an attempt to use the adult finger device to get pulse and oxygen from my 11 month olds tiny finger. When the first equipment broke, we were told they were going to get another device and left in the room waiting so long I had to leave the room and ask what was going on.I do not expect to pay full price for this service and will contest it in any means necessary. If the owner or manager sees this review they are free to reach out to me directly as I know I am posting this publicly. For anyone else considering where to get a covid test do not come here, there are other places that do it for cheaper with much higher service and convenience.
I came here for green card physical exam. LaTasha was the best ! Super professional and friendly. You would be guided what to do and finish the exam in the most efficient way. I strongly recommend them!!
Fantastic service! Everyone from the check in staff, the Medical Assistant, and the Doctor were great. Very fast and efficient experience.I’ll definitely recommending anyone to go here for urgent medical attention. Thank you!
Absolutely horrible. The nursing assistant could not figure out how to take my blood pressure because her automatic machine wouldn’t work. The room was absolutely disgustingly dirty. The “doctor” discharged me wiry instructions that were an absolute lie from what we discussed in the office. She said she sent medicine to the pharmacy but as of today (three days later) it’s still not been sent after several calls. Save yourself a trip and go to the ER or Northwestern Immediate care.
We visited physicians immediate care for our immigration medical test. Everyone is so polite and knowledgeable and they are well aware all the steps and procedures. All the steps went smoothly. Very happy with their service. Thanks.
Pro: they had slots for a COVID test when other places didn’tCons:1) we arrived on time and the app said we were first in line. It still took 30 minutes to get brought to an exam room2) they said it would take 10 minutes to get a test result and then it took 35 minutes3) why the long wait in step 2? Because you need to see a doctor even when all you want is a test. Why? they try to upsell you with services you don’t want or needI’m glad they have capacity, but I would only go here if every other provider is full
One of the friendliest staffs ever (LaTasha specifically)! They were all lovely. Wait wasn’t very long for a walk in on a busy Thursday. The help was efficient and thorough; if I ever need urgent care again I will be back!
I was taken care of immediately. Everyone was wonderful and very attentive. I have taken my three boys there for years and have nothing but great things to say about everyone from reception to the doctors. On this particular day I had two different issues. Doctor Chartre took care of me, diagnosed both issues, prescribed medication and I was on my way. Many thanks to everyone.
Outstanding FAULTLESS service from start to finish.Warm welcome from front desk clerk who was knowledgeable and supportive in her manner with excellent listening skills. The lovely associate who took my vitals was well trained, compassionate and took time to ask the correct questions. The physician was first-class in every way. Astute clinically, personable and came up with an excellent care plan. I was extremely relieved and grateful to have this Doctor. She listened carefully and most importantly genuinely cared about my wellbeing. They are a lucky clinic to have such a high caliber physician in my opinion. The very nice associate who administered my treatment was kind, quietly confident and clinically sound. She clarified many details with me and took time to explain my discharge instructions.I have worked in healthcare at both clinical and managerial level for 30 years and so my standards are high!!Physicians’s Immediate Care on Clybourn are blowing many well established PCP type practices out of the water in terms of availability, standards of care, compassion, efficiency and reliability!Excellent job Clybourn Team. You are greatly appreciated and admired by your patients!!
Save yourself a trip and do not book with Physicians Immediate Care (specifically this location). Terrible experience. Receptionist is extremely rude and unprofessional. Additionally, appointment times exist for a reason. They completely disregarded my appointment time as if it was a suggestion and to make things worse, the receptionist made it sound like it was my fault they were running late!Save yourself the trip and book with One Medical or drop in at a different urgent care center.
Long waiting times and disappointing care. I visit this clinic because I was sick as hell, after sharing my symptoms their first reaction was the flu but I told them that I didnt have the flu but they ran the test and was negative so they sent me home with a Tylenol and told me to come back anytime if the symptoms get worst. So next day I came back because I was feeling worst they ran more tests and they came up with an infection but they didnt prescribe anything they just sent me home. Then I ended up getting two bills for the two visits, I totally understand the tests and laboratory services but charged me for the second visit for a follow up when they told me to come back if I was still sick. I mean if I had known that they would charge me for a follow up, I would have stayed sick at home as they did not prescribe me anything but a Tylenol.I wish Ive read the reviews of this place before going, they put the blame on your insurance coverage but I just visit a different clinic and you can tell the difference in patience care, waiting times and billing.
I came to the clinic for vaccines and a few test for my employer. I was told to come back 2 days later to show my TB test results, and I just needed to come show them and leave. When I arrived I was told something totally different. I waited over 30 minutes and while waiting the PSR told the nurse “I had an attitude”! The nurse replied, “I don’t care about her attitude, she mad because she has to wait!” How dare she! The attitude that was given to me because a worker gave me the wrong information.
Terrible experience! The clinic in Northcenter was amazing. Very quick and professional after I checked in online!! They unfortunately did not have the item I needed and referred me to the Clybourn clinic. They told me I should be able to get my service done promptly when I showed up. I arrived and the lab technician and receptionist were talking in the lobby. I stated my name and menical needs and the receptionist told me to take a seat. The receptionist called the Northcenter location and asked them about my service needs, very nice but I was right there, why not ask me? After waiting 15 minutes I asked how much longer, since I had an engagement I needed to be at. The receptionist said it should be 10-15 more minutes. Really, I rarely think promptly means 30-45 minutes to possibly being seen. Definitely will not be using this service again, or at least the Clybourn location! I was here two years ago and they had a very pleasant staff. I dont know what happened😞
Does not open at listed time I made an appointment for 8:30 and was told to arrive 15 minutes early. So I got there at 8:15 just for them to not open the doors until 8:45
Saba Khan PA-C was professional and thorough, took her time explaining her plan to me, and was genuinely interested in making sure Im healthy.LaTasha was a delight to work with, very comforting personality. She was great at drawing my blood and made sure I felt at ease when obtaining my EKG.
Cant say enough about the excellent service and CARE i received from the Physicians Immediate Care on N. Clybourn. I received immediate attention, sympathetic care and a spot on diagnosis based on my symptoms. The medication i received cleared up my severe cold, sore throat and ear ache in just a couple of days. So much easier than trying to get an appointment with my primary care doc and waiting days. Thanks for the outstanding CARE.
I was very sick and my head had some type of bad sinus infection over a holiday weekend.I was able to make an appointment, see a doctor, get a diagnosis, and have a prescription in under 2 hours. By the next day I was already a 70% better. This place saved me. And every one was very kind and helpful. Id come back here again and again.
Excellent, quick and easy service when I needed it most. When you are sick and not feeling well, getting in to see a doctor quickly is key. Highly recommend.
Doctor did nothing when I came in. Super rushed and gave me a tiny test and said go to the ER. She was the least thorough doctor I’ve ever seen in my life. Did not do her job. At all. She Sent me to the ER with a one sentence, inaccurate, piece of paper. Became a mess at the ER and I got no help. Literally. Never seen anything like it. So thank you for helping me lose thousands of dollars at the ER. THOUSANDS!!!
The doctor and especially the assistant were very compassionate with my treatment. They help me with my diagnosis and we’re kind to me in a moment of weakness.
The best immigration medical exam service for citizenship or anything immigration related. The best doctor and assistant.Dr. Chawla and Myrna are super professional, fast, and punctual.
Has a parking lot which is a huge bonus for a city clinic. I was seen right at my appointment time and the medical staff were professional and kind. They also offer a preregistration on line which makes the check in process easy.
Im so glad I was referred to this location!Every time Ive gone my doctor, nurses and staff have been so friendly and have always made me feel comfortable. I always leave the office with every question answered and never have to wait for my appointment.
Did my Covid testing and diagnosed me with Covid-19. The process of diagnosing me with Covid was done professionally and efficiently. Very happy with the help I received
I went to Bucktown location and what and absolute waste of my time and money. The doctor asked me zero questions about my symptoms and was in and out so fast I literally can’t even give you his name because he didn’t introduce himself. I have been experiencing symptoms of a sinus infection for months and he told me to take some Flonase. I asked what would the next steps be if that didn’t clear the problem since it’s been going on for months and I have already been taking OTC medication with no results. He stated I would need to see an ENT. Interesting response as most ENTs require a referral and he didn’t provide that. I consulted multiple of my acquaintances in the medical profession including nurses and PAs who advised any doctor should be able to diagnose and treat a sinus infection…and ENT would only be required if, after treatment, symptoms didn’t clear. He also prescribed a cough suppressant for my “cough and sore throat “ for which I never even stated I had a sore throat. Extremely poor service, lack of care, and unwillingness to explain treatment options.
The staff & wait time on a Saturday morning was great, but referral follow up was non-existent. I went in for circulation concerns in my arm & was seen by Dr. Chartre, she was great & thorough & provided a preliminary diagnosis, which ended up being correct. She ran tests to make sure all was ok at that time but ordered a sonogram referral for further testing. That is where things went bad. I was told it would be 4-5 days for a call back. I called at day four with a different question & asked about the referral as I hadnt heard anything yet. I was told an email would be sent & to check back. I called two days later & was given the direct line to the referrals department. Two calls/voicemails later on two different days & still no reply. It has now been 3 weeks, a second trip to different urgent care as well as an ER visit while on vacation. Needless to say the ER visit discovered a major problem that should have been found two weeks earlier from my initial visits referral. I had hopes when the referral was ordered but given I never heard anything else I can say I will not be visiting this facility again.
Coded my preventative care wrong, which created a bill for me, which they then refused to do anything about. Health insurance is expensive enough, go somewhere that actually knows how to administer healthcare without piling on extra erroneous bills. 0/10.
Almost instant appointment on a Friday evening. Both nurse and doctor were absolutely lovely and everyone was helpful and full of smiles. For a walk-in clinic this is top notch.
The clinic in Lincoln Park was extremely easy to schedule and setup for a COVID-19 rapid test. The paperwork can be filled out online prior to the visit and the staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
This was the closest location when I searched for a free covid test. It’s not free. Even when I got there and asked the front desk before I saw anyone, they assured me that if I had insurance, it would be free. It’s not free. Insurance paid for most of it, but I still got a bill for $37. Had they have been honest with me, I would’ve gotten a covid test elsewhere that is actually free. Never coming here again.
I have it 1 star not for the service but for the copay. I had BCBS bronze insurance and ended up paying for 175 dollars for my sons viral infection causing him to Cough and became congested. I will hope not to return and be ripped off. The doctor and services was great. I have nothing against them but just the cost of services will not make you go back.
Have come here a few times over the past few months for various colds and infections. Never have to wait more than 10 mins to get an examination room, staff is friendly and the place is always really clean. They are kind and helpful with following up after your visit
The kindest and most beautiful Dr Arti Chawla and the whole team is very kind and professional !I am extremely satisfied.
Arrived when I was the only one there, took 20 mins to get taken back, then over 30 mins to be seen. The room was completely dirty, like it hadnt been cleaned in a week. The restroom had no soap. The physician barely looked at me and told me a couple remedies and to see my regular doc. Nobody seemed to have a sense or urgency or really know what they were doing, will never go back.
I saw PA Mary Mcmullan. She was kind, compassionate and through. I was complaining of check discomfort post Covid.
I am very very supercalifragilisticexpialidocious happy to be among partners in my health. Everyone I have encountered here on Clyborn has been super friendly and supportive in my health journey. Even when I wasnt %100 in. I am doing very well and proud of myself.
This provider is fantastic and the COVID precautions are great! If you have to go to the doctor in person this is the place to go to. I felt safe the entire time I was there and they actually accept my so-so insurance. I’ll definitely be back. 👍
Trying to save others the wait, they are short staffed and it’s taking forever even if you have made an appointment online. I’ve been in the waiting room for an hour and no one has been called in. I’m starting to wonder if they even have a doctor on staff today.
Tuesday went for a flu test, the same day I started to have symptoms. Flu test was supposedly negative. I was sent home with nasal spray and cough pills for my “common cold”. Continued to feel miserable Wednesday. Called to speak with the doctor Thursday morning who sent an antibiotic prescription and inhaler? Friday morning, still feeling miserable went to see my regular doctor who immediately tested me positive for the flu. Obviously too late for Tamiflu at this point so I just have to “let it run it’s course”. Would have, could have, should have just gone to my normal doctor from the start.
Had two visits there in 3 days for very different issues. Both the nurses and doctors inspired confidence and trust, and they were very kind to me and my son.
Total waste of time and over $200 (with insurance) for no treatment. I saw a doctor here and described all my symptoms thoroughly (they were classic symptoms of a sinus infection), and yet this more experienced doctor seemed baffled. He cleaned out my ear and sent me away with no diagnosis. I spent yet another day in pain and had to spend another day seeing another doctor elsewhere to get treatment.
I went to the website and after searching several locations found an opening for a time best suited for me. The staff welcomed me and were concerned for my well being. I felt taken care of and fully informed of what my next steps might entail.
Came as a walk-in. Easy registration, wait time was less than 20 minutes. On the website they give an estimated wait time, which is helpful for planning purposes. Friendly and professional staff. They took good care of me!
I just wanna say thank you guys for doing what you guys did for me,very clean place, amazing staff, and most of all they were all very kind polite and they took the time to explain everything to me,step by step and also for the big favor you guys did for me on doing all the tests for my surgery coming up,Amazing staff and Amazing Doctor. Thanks a million guys
I went to two other clinics where they couldnt assist me with a rash that was growing on my arm. When I arrived at this immediate care clinic, they were kind and helpful, and the doctor saw the cause of the rash instantly. I had been stung by a bee (Im very allergic). She pulled out the sting and have me meds for allergy and infection.I would recommend this clinic over any other Ive been to in Chicago.
I went on Sunday December 21, 2014 went my guy and we were the first ones there. The staff is really nice from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors....all around a GREAT place to go for immediate care. I love the fact they open everyday and have a parking lot. Will definitely recommend this place and its only 10 mins away from my job!
I visited dr KATHYA CHARTRE (VALDEZ), she only gave my result for blood work over call and then I called for hundred times for this office for my update on holster monitor but no answer.I had my holter monitor 1 month ago. I am trying to get her and left voicemails severalTimes but there is no call back from md. I was charged $400 for holster monitor. I emailed BIOTEL CO but they said they gave my result to DR KATHYA CHARTRE(VALDEZ).I am extremely disappointed with PHYSICAL IMMEDIATE CARE service and MD.
This was the first time i’ve been sick since moving to the city. This place happened to be the closest and I loved my experience. The staff was friendly and precautions were taken in order to ensure everyone’s safety. I will definitely be going there anytime I feel sick in the future!
I had made an appointment ahead of time so that I wouldnt have to wait like a walk-in would. I arrived at my scheduled time but still had to wait 40 minutes to be seen, even though the waiting room was pretty empty. Once I was seen, things moved pretty quickly but I was disappointed with the wait and no one gave me any explanation.
Dr Asma Patel was kind, thorough and prescribed exactly what I needed. The wait was minimal and staff at the desk helpful and friendly. I will go back and I’d recommend Dr Patel and Physicians Immediate Care to anyone.
All of the staff at Physician Immediate Care were extremely helpful, it was my first time there, it was a smooth process, I will go back if I need something. Highly recommend!
The staff is always very friendly. The Doctor Stuart is personable and professional! I have been here many time and trust him and the other doctor completely! Thank You!
Very capable and efficient staff! I dropped by at 8am on Sunday morning and was on my way out 15 mins later prescription in hand. Thank you!
I needed to get a covid test and I registered online and showed up for my appointment. When I got here, they didnt take my insurance and the test was $240. I wasted all this time getting there and registering, when this information should have been up front.
The lady at the front desk that I spoke with was so rude, I was unsure why I was being treated poorly as I just asked to schedule an appointment.I asked her for her name and she hung up on me.Please rethink your staff. No one working in healthcare should be acting like this.
Making an appointment for 1230pm, was advised by the staff that I would not even be seen at least until 1pm. Told ‘we are swamped with appointments and walkin’s’…what’s the point of even making an appointment then? Has happened to me multiple times with Physicians Immediate Care facilities- no respect for client time.
Such great care! It was a fast process to sign in and I waited maybe 10 minutes. The doctors and nurses were so sweet!
Are they out of business? I showed up for my appt and knocked on the window for 10 minutes and no one came out. Went to another location and they had a sign posted stating they are closed until further notice.
Check in was easy using the text message link. All front desk and medical staff were nice. Facility was clean. Medical assistance was good.
Not sure why I should schedule an appointment here when they don’t respect my time whatsoever. Took an hour after my appointment time for me to be seen by a doctor. Wish I could give 0 stars
Mary was the best. She was so nice and reassuring. I wish she was my actual doctor
Scheduled online, was able to enter to all my info online, so I went checked in, only waited for ten minutes to be seen, staff was kind and efficient, got the help I needed and was done

I came in with an index finger cut on an immersion blender. I was seen quickly. Staff was efficient and pleasant. I was bandaged snd out within an hour.
Got my Covid vaccine here. It was well managed, with good safety precautions, and it was quick and easy. Staff was nice also.
Staff was nice, but they didnt see me until 10:55 for a 10:00 AM appointment, which was a bit frustrating.
Easy appointment. Professional staff, very organized, swift & experienced. Friendly & effective. They are doing an amazing job protecting us. True heros.
Punctual, accurate analysis and knew the remedy. Great, I wish I had gone there when I first felt sick, instead of waiting 3 horrible days.
Everyone was very kind and helpful.
Great service, addressed all of my issues, will be back again when needed!
The whole team was great! They helped the whole family. Really appreciated their kindness, patience and diligence.
Slammed the top of foot against stair and was not sure if something was broken so went in for an X-ray. Professional, fairly fast and easy. Nothing is broken thank goodness.
Everyone that I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. They put me at ease about my face contusions from a fall immediately.
They did a great job, but this time we were there for over 2 hours. This was not our normal experience.
Giovanni was very kind, patient, and informative. I really liked the professionalism and the cleanliness of the front desk area.
Excellent service. The doctor and her staff were caring, experienced and thorough. I would recommend this practice without a doubt.
I just tried to call twice, was on hold and then hung up on. Not sure what issues theyre having with their phone, but some responsive customer service would be appreciated.
