Dr. Stringfellow is an excellent doctor. He is thoughtful, compassionate, truly cares about his patients, and is eager to help. My wife had previously had four surgeries done in the same area, but Dr. Stringfellow was the first to perform it without drastic pain and so far has achieved the best results. We appreciate his faith, his prayer for us, and his genuine concern for my wifes well-being.
I just established care here and I never expect much anymore out of OBs over the years. I saw Dr. Strongfellow and he quite possibly was the best doctor I’ve ever seen. His wealth of knowledge and experience is vast. He was also extremely affirming and told me about a bunch of new treatment options I have never heard of. He also understood the shame and trauma around reproductive issues, PMDD, and how important the role of “safety” is in his profession. He complimented me on my tattoos and asked about them (not in a creepy way) and for a 70 yr old guy he had better social skills and compassion than any other male doctor I’ve been to. The nurse was super cool too and asked me a few times if I felt comfortable with certain things during exam when she sensed I was nervous. And I have no idea his political views but I am personally pro choice and I felt like if I needed to consult with him about that he would nonjudgmental and help navigate options. I was very happy and felt hopeful for the first time leaving an OB office
HORRIBLE front desk customer service/communication! I was new to this Dr office and really looking forward to my appt. I had been waiting about a month and a half and drove 40 minutes to find out that the Dr I was suppose to see is no longer with the practice. The blonde front desk lady originally told me that they called me and left a message but then back tracked and said they were not able to leave a message because my voice was full. (I reviewed my call log and voicemails and recieved no call or voicemail, i had even recieved voicemails from other calls after the period of time they said they reached out so i know my voicemail was not full) instead of trying to keep my business and offer another Dr I might be able to get scheduled with she just kept repeating that they called me and that she needs to cancel my appt. I truly hope yall update how you communicate with customers because 1 supposed phone call regarding information that important is not acceptable, please do better for your future customers.
Made an appointment at end of May,first available was for September 4th. Showed up, the doctor is no longer with them, and other provider doesnt take my insurance! Didnt bother to call , just waited for me to show up. Wasted my time, very unprofessional.
From the moment you walk in, you immediately feel comfortable. The receptionists and office ladies, Sylvia and Kathy, have both gone above and beyond with their kindness and empathy, and understanding. Every single time I’ve called, I tell them my name and they immediately know who I am.I have never felt so cared for, and about, by anyone in the medical field. From the office ladies, to the nurses, and finally…. Dr. Stringfellow himself.Dr. Stringfellow is unfailingly kind, immensely, knowledgeable, and genuinely one of the best doctors I have ever had. He truly takes his time with each patient to gather information and discuss next steps. Once he enters the exam room, it’s clear that he is focused solely on you and your needs. He has been my surgeon for 2 of my laparoscopic surgeries, and made me feel calm and confident in his skills. Dr. Stringfellow explains the game plan and possibilities, good and not so good, once he “gets inside” and sees the whole picture. Post op, he comes to check on you, and explains everything that he needed to do in detail. All in all, incredible clinic, incredible staff, incredible doctor.
Dr. Roy Stringfellow is the kindest doctor I’ve seen. After years of not getting explanations and answers, he took the time to speak with me, explain things, and make sure I felt comfortable. For anyone else with medical anxiety I highly recommend him.
The most caring doctors office Ive ever experienced. The staff are friendly and welcoming and efficient. The doctors are amazing. They listen carefully to you and dont rush the appointment. Absolutely the best gyn office Ive ever attended. I cant say enough good things about how respectfully I was treated, the reassurance given and the plan forward. As an older client I have to say this was the best gyn appointment Ive ever had. Recommend highly.
Yes I am or I was a patient of Dr. Dunham’s since I moved to the area in 2017. At the time I felt comfortable with my Dr. Maybe when he and his nurse blew me off about hormones he had prescribed I should’ve paid more attention. My daughter who has been seen by Dr Dunham in the past is now on Medicaid. Off my insurance in that j between stage she’s just finished college and has Medicaid. She’s in pain and they told her wait Medicaid…..Jan. 18th! That’s how much they care about their patients. Months she’s supposed to be in pain. Well I’m taking my Anthem insurance and finding a real Dr who cares about people and not pocket books! If you want to be cared for actually cared about find another facility! I’ve been a RN since 1994! This is despicable!
Dr. Roy Stringfellow is too incredible. I’ve been working with my issues with him for several months. I’ve seen a couple specialists and he’s been the only one to really take me out of pain and listen to my issues and just be there to help. Such a great doc! He prays for me and it’s just incredible. He’s simply the best! He even did my surgery this last week and my recovery has been marvelous! My wounds are healing really good!
The doctors here are very intelligent and courteous and professional in ways I couldn’t even explain. But as far as the Front Desk department of the facility is a S*** show! I never receive any information about my appointments! Either they cancel or call to reschedule my appointment but NEVER RECEIVED ANY CALL or delayed information. I arrived to an appointment that was schedule months in advance and to find out they cancelled it and I WAS NOT AWARE but still showed up! Then tried to tell me over the phone that it was a No call no show!!! How unbelievable! I really wish I can get to the bottom of my health but the front desk staff is very unprofessional and PICK N CHOOSE who they want to help. I would never speak on the doctors and nurse department because they go above and beyond but as far as Sylvia and her manager Cathy! You guys need to get it together because at this point you’re messing with people HEALTH!! And that’s SERIOUS
BEST DOCTOR IVE EVER HAD! I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr Stringfellow, he was the only one to give me hope after years of doctors telling me that my pain wasn’t real. He was incredible, and you could tell he cares immensely about what he does and his clients. I’ve never had such exceptional care and remember even crying after a few of my appointments, feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time. He ended up performing a surgery on me that couldn’t have gone better. With the clinic, I’ve always had amazing interactions with everyone that worked here. It was all such a positive and beautiful experience. I wish I could give 100 stars, I have soo much love for this place.
My first and second appointment were with Dr Evan and she was great. We discussed my issues and what the treatment would be and that she referring me to Dr Stringfellow. Dr Stringfellow and I at my third appointment discussed my options and said to schedule the procedure with Sonja his nurse. Sonja was great considering I was probably getting on her nerves calling weekly to see if we could schedule the procedure, delay was not her fault. Once the procedure was scheduled, saw Dr Stringfellow again and while I had to options for my procedure, I opted for the surgery. Day of surgery Dr Stringfellow came in chatted with my husband and I and then left to get ready. Before going under anesthesia, I remember Dr Stringfellow holding my hand which was very comforting. Sometimes after getting home that day, Dr Stringfellow called to tell me how everything went and to check on me which was very sweet of him to do. Today was my six week post op and Dr Stringfellow told me everything that was causing the original issue. He is an amazing Dr and will recommend him to anyone. I am not one for aale OBGYN, but Dr Stringfellow makes it extremely comfortable to talk to him and joke around. He answers all your questions and concerns and makes sure you are comfortable and understand everything before you leave. Every visit and even before surgery he takes the time to pray with you and for his staff which is great as most people/medical personnel wont do that. Again, definitely recommend Dr Stringfellow and thank you Dr Stringfellow!!
Dr Dunham is a very good doctor, very polite and courteous, excellent bedside manner, he even called my husband after I had a very successful hysterectomy. The hospital visit was amazing as well.I would reccomend him for all your womanly needs if it werent for the incompetence of his staff!! The staff failed to do their job paperwork wise, then had the audacity to fault me for their mistake. Luckily my insurance educated them on how to do their actual job and they corrected the issue. However after this costly error I will not go back because unless you want to be stiffed with a $4500 out of pocket expense that was Their Job to take care of, because the staff was too stupid to do their job efficiently, I wont be returning. Not even an apology for THEIR MISTAKE.I repeat and I want to make this Very Clear, Matthew Dunham is a very talented skilled and excellent doctor, his staff is the reason I will Not ever go back, Im too scared Ill be screwed over again after this rather emotionally traumatic experience. He deserves 10 starsTHE STAFF IS THE REASON I HAVE LESS THAN 5 STAR RATING. What makes this worse and some of the nurses on his staff have the same insurance I do!! 😡 And theyre going to cost a great doctor alot of businessPS. I did call to air my grievances and thats what caused this review, because the staff is That Stupid and ill-educated to help actual people. I would wonder if they got their diploma from a cracker jack box but Dr Dunham aint stupid like his staff is
I just had my operation with Dr Stringfellow yesterday and he was a joy. He prayed for me before surgury and was very clear about everything he would be doing. He called to check in with me after and shared once again everything he found in the operation. I felt incredibly safe with him and the team he worked with. They listened when I told them about my medication sensitivities due to mast cell activation syndrome. I would recommend him to anyone. Great practice.
Dr Jennifer Even is extremely insensitive, condescending and lacks compassion. Very rude and does not care about making her patients “comfortable”. My 5 year old daughter was terrified and she didn’t show any sympathy. She should not work with kids if she has no patience for them.
I worked with Dr. Even for my fertility to conceive a child while having PCOS. She was very straightforward, to the point, and gave great advice. She’s got a lot of knowledge and her approach worked for me. Within a few months of following her guidance, I conceived my first child. Now I have a healthy, little 3 year old boy.
I actually think the doctors here are very good. Stringfellow is second-to-none. He did my surgery a couple of years back, and he was splendid on all fronts (love him!). For my check-ups, I have been going to Jennifer Even for the past three years or so and have found her to be a sound and trustworthy physician. So, why the two stars? For years, Ive been trying to get Evens nurse to respond to the faxes from my mail-order pharmacy. When it comes time to renew prescriptions during my annual exam, Dr. Even hands me a handwritten prescription, which is fine, except that my insurances mail-order pharmacy wants them to call or fax it in. When I mention this, I am made to feel as if I am asking for something unreasonable. During my last exam in the spring, the nurse tried to convince me to take the written form to a local pharmacy, as it was too much trouble for her to work with the mail-order system (so she explained). I responded that Id be happy to do so, if it didnt raise my prescription costs by 300%. For three years, whenever my medications are up for renewal, I have had to wrangle to get them refilled. Heres how it goes: The pharmacy asks me to call the unresponsive office; I call the office, and a note or v-mail is left for the nurse; I have the pharmacy fax over another request; no action; I call again, and after several rounds, my persistence finally pays off. In the most recent occurrence, the nurse finally called me back after I left numerous voicemails, notes, etc., and the mail-order pharmacy faxed her several times. Her first words were, now what is the problem? And thats when I just went with whatever option she was most comfortable with--calling it into Walgreens, because--at that point--it was far too late for meds to process/travel via mail order. Today, three months later, I wanted to have that prescription through Walgreens transferred to the mail order so that I only need to spend $10 for a 90-day supply instead of $30. But I know what the response will be: nothing. Meanwhile, I will be full of anxiety, wondering if Ill be able to continue my medication without interruption. So Im not even going to try this time. I will eat the extra costs . . . for now. But come exam time, I will not deal with all this anxiety and extra cost just to make someones job easier. I dont know if Stringfellows nurse is any better at mail-order stuff, but I feel genuinely compelled to switch doctors or else find a new practice altogether. At this point, I simply have no other choice. All the other practices (general, dental, derma, etc.) I attend are able to handle this kind of 21st-century system. Now, whats the problem?
Excellent gynecology practice! I was beyond impressed with the care I received from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Stringfellow is a kind, compassionate physician. I arrived at my appointment quite concerned about my health and Dr. Stringfellow put me at ease as he treated my whole person - body, mind and spirit! The receptionist and nurse were also very kind.
Dr. Dunham and the other staff made this an easy experience. I felt heard and like I was given the time I needed. Dr. Dunham was present and patient through the whole appointment. He made it a more comfortable and gentle experience than I was expecting based on my previous Dr.’s
I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Even on a new patient appointment. Dr. Even was on time, extremely knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner.Nice office, efficient staff.
Trying for our first child was an extremely stressful time, and Dr. Evens from this practice only added to our stress. I really never write reviews but I felt as though I had to share my experience here. First of all, it was difficult even getting an appointment to see anyone, and if youve been trying for a year, every extra month you have to wait feels like a small forever. When you do finally get an appointment, you are met with a doctor who seems short with everything she says to the point where the comments seem backhanded and rude. I left there every time on the verge of an anxious breakdown in tears. My husband convinced me to stop going because it was causing way more stress and anxiety than I needed at the time.If you are looking to go over your options with someone who is caring and understanding, do not book here.
Dr. Stringfellow and his staff go above and beyond, every visit. Having had major surgery, I felt confident I was in good hands. The whole office are kind, understanding people, and most importantly, thorough and efficient. They are a great team that deliver effective results and Im so thankful Dr. Stringfellow was my surgeon.
I am a patient of Dr. Dunham and I could not be happier. I have sever endometriosis and have been to many doctors and he is a God sent. He has sat and talked me through everything, I dont feel like I am just another number but that him and his staff truly care about me. Every time I have an issue they get me in the same day and are extremely officiant. The staff is friendly and smart. They have fought for me when dealing with insurance and always provides the best care. I have recommended all my family and friends to them. I could not give them enough praise, I have often left crying because I am so happy with how they treat me.
I am truly thankful for Dr. Stringfellow. I was referred to Advanced Gynecology due to some serious health concerns. Dr. Stringfellow put me at ease and discussed all my options. I opted to have surgery; Dr. Stringfellow guaranteed I had everything I needed prior to the surgery. The day after surgery, Dr. Stringfellow came to see me at 8 am, not late in the day as most doctors, this allowed me to be released from the hospital early. But the most significant thing that impressed me the most is that Dr. Stringfellow followed up with me personally after I got home. He didnt have a nurse to call to check on me, he called to ensure he could answer any questions or concerns I may have had. Too often doctors move to the next patient and unless something terrible happens, they dont speak with you again, not Dr. Stringfellow, he demonstrates that he cares. Thanks to his professionalism and skills, I avoided serious health issues.
I started seeing Dr. Stringfellow about seven years ago. After EVERY SINGLE appointment I’m calling my girlfriend and thanking her profusely for recommending him to me. It’s hard to put into words how I feel so cared for as a whole person after I see him. He is a bit religious, but not in any sort of pushy or assuming way, it’s rather endearing actually. He asks about my family and how I am and truly listens and asks about them again at the next appointment a whole year later. He’s gentle and he takes the time to listen, even if you might think what you have to share is so minuscule of an issue, he makes you feel good about sharing it and then he’s reassuring and just wonderful. When I got pregnant he had just stopped doing obstetrics saying it was a younger mans job, he was getting too old for middle of the night births, LOL, and I was heartbroken. This appointment today was the first after giving birth to my son and being in the care of another doctor. I felt traumatized by that experience and I was anxious about this appointment today. I had a mini anxiety attack waiting, undressed and sitting in my cape and sheet. I had no reason to be worried! I’d forgotten how gentle and patient Dr. Stringfellow was and we just talked first and I was completely at ease within minutes. The rest of the checkup was easy and painless. His nursing and receptionist staff are also wonderful and friendly and talking with any one of them is delightful. You really couldn’t ask for a better experience for your healthcare. I’d give 10 stars if I could, so here’s the other 5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wanted to share my experience with the fantastic nurse, Sonya, at Advanced Gynecology! I was having trouble getting an MRI scheduled so Sonia offered to call for me after their office was closed and managed to get me a next day appointment on a Saturday! She definitely went above and beyond what she was required to do. She was very kind and helpful at a time when I was anxious about my diagnosis. I would love to recommend this office for anyone who wants personal, sincere care!
I am not one to usually leave a review and I have put a lot of thought into doing this. The way that I was treated at this establishment was not okay not even a little bit. First things first I had to wait 2 months out because that is how far they are booking out. If you cannot see a patient for over 8 weeks you should not be accepting new patients especially when they are on a timeline with fertility. I filled out my paperwork and was taken back only for the first thing to come out of Dr. Jennifer Evens mouth was that we were not going to talk about fertility today. So after waiting 2 months to be seen were not even going to address the reason Im here?? While she was asking me the initial intake questions I didnt answer her question the way she liked and she looked over at my husband and asked is she always like this? and then looked back at me and said its a yes or no question. So after the initial intake questions she asks if I brought any of my medical records with me. I was never informed by her or her staff that I even had to bring anything but myself. So there is a lot of miscommunication. I had to run out to the parking lot and try to download all the files I could only for her to tell me it wasnt good enough and I would have to have it printed out for our next appointment. She also told me that I would have to have an msg done and she said they are really really painful and was not super encouraging. Like why would you tell someone that as a DR she should be able to handle things with tact so maybe her wording should have been its a slightly uncomfortable procedure so take some ibuprofen before hand. NOT its going to hurt really bad. She also told me that her team would contact me to schedule the msg and no one ever reached out. Also, to mention that day she was clearly in a rush to get us in and out it felt like we were there just so she could get a paycheck. When I left there I was really discouraged and I felt hopeless. The way that she spoke to me and my husband was unacceptable. If you are going to go into a field to deal with people with fertility issues maybe be a little bit more compassionate towards the person and their issues. I now go to shady grove fertility to Dr. Shona Murray and they have already been so helpful through this already difficult time. If you wanted to be treated like garbage I would recommend this place. If i could give this place 0 stars I would. Please take your business elsewhere because I would hate for someone to be treated the way that I was.
Doctor Dunham and his staff are caring and down-to-earth people, they helped me figure out an endometriosis diagnosis and undergo surgery. They are always helpful and straightforward.
Dr Stringfellow is a model for all docs! Ive been seeing him for a few years now and every annual visit is a delight! And his new office -- WOW! Dr Stringfellow and his entire team/staff are friendly and attentive, which is why I always call to schedule 6-8 weeks before I need to see Dr Stringfellow. I love how much time he and his team take -- I feel like they truly care about me!
Dr. Dunham is an amazing surgeon and doctor. His staff are always kind and helpful. I’ve been with them for years and highly recommend them and their expert care.
My mother walked into Dr. Dunham’s office today after having issues for over two months and getting the run around every where else. He sat down and chatted with her to get history beyond the ER report and found he discovered underlying issues that brought her to his office. When we arrived my mom could barely walk or sit due to her pain level and after Dr. Dunham’s procedure she was able to walk out with just mild discomfort. Not only was he compassionate but he was also very matter of fact about her options for future care. I was in tears I was so happy to see her finally have hope. Thank you Dr. Dunham!
I went to see Dr. Helle Bradley about hormone replacement. I was told she specialized in that area of Genecology and I was excited to talk to her about options. My first appointment was a Well Woman Exam and I was told that when making the appointment, but was told I could talk to her about the issues I was having and then would have to schedule a follow-up appointment. I was fine with that. When Dr. Bradley came into the office, she was going over my paperwork and discussing my history. When I told her I also wanted to talk about hormone therapy, she basically told me that I was too fat for her to treat and she would not treat me for hormone replacement. She said she would not be comfortable with the possible side effects that it could cause me. She never even tried to get to know me or my reasons for being there. She said I would have to go to an Endocrinologist. She never asked me what my symptoms were, why I wanted the hormone replacement, she just basically told me my weight was out of control and she could not help me other than to do blood work. When she did the physical exam, she was very rough with the speculum, she told me she was trying to get to my cervix. The nurse said, she has no cervix, she had a hysterectomy. She continued to push the instrument in me and then took the swab. Then she did the internal exam and made a comment about she would probably not be able to feel my ovaries (I assume due to the general attitude, it was also because of my weight) and the nurse again said, she doesnt have her ovaries, she had a hysterectomy. Dr. Bailey said oh well that is good, now I dont have to send you for a CT Scan since I wouldnt have been able to feel them anyway. Then while doing the breast exam, she asked me how many calories I took in daily. Not one time during this entire experience did she bother to find out about me, why I am heavy, why I am seeing hormone replacement, what my symptoms are, what strategies she could have suggested. She then at one point made a comment about me probably having diabetes. I was horrified, embarrassed, angry, upset and felt brutalized by her attitude and exam. I left the office and had to pull over in a parking lot to stop shaking enough to drive. I have never in my 51 years been treated this horribly by a doctor. She is horrible. She is the most unempathetic and condescending person in a position of influence I have ever come across. I went catatonic in the appointment after the first few minutes. I wish I had just left when she had me change into the gown. I am still shaking and still upset. I dont cry, I was balling. Dont go to her. She needs to retire so other people dont have to go through this.
Could not even get in to see the doctor after waiting 3 months and driving 11/2 hours. You must have your actual insurance card, not a digital copy. No notice was given regarding this policy. Unbelievable in this day and time. Extremely disappointed. Then the receptionist ignored me and answered the phone. I received a very superficial apology, like I should have known better. I havent brought an insurance card to an appointment in well over 2 years. I will not attempt to rebook.
Dr. Dunham is THE BEST Gyn I have ever been too!I was so nervous being a first-time patient. I have an extremely high insurance premium so I can barely afford my co-pay... which makes going to an unknown doctor and practice nerve-wracking for multiple reasons. Ive had bad experiences (painful, humiliating) in the past and had my whole Im terrified of doctors speech ready. But once I got to the patient room I forgot it in an instant.I wish I could remember the name of the nurse (who apologized profusely for being like 5 minutes late on my appointment, punctuality is very important to me) - she set the entire tone. Very kind, understanding, thoughtful, gentle in her heart and voice. I was immediately put at ease. Her whole demeanor was like a big hug. Then Dr. Dunham spent almost an hour with me, explaining things in an easy-to-understand and non-threatening way. Usually doctors just send shivers down my spine when they prattle on about a 1,000 different side effects of their revolutionary treatment... a list which always seems to include mild death. But Dr. Dunham was singularly focused on identifying the CAUSE of my issues and treating THAT. Seems novel, right? Dr. Dunham is a doctor that wants to help YOU. I left his office full of happiness and hope that better times are in my future under his care! I wish I could give him and his assistant 10 stars!
I have never had such a great experience with any OBGYN I been to. I had surgery with Dr. Stringfellow (had two similar procedures prior and felt awful) and I felt great the same day, right after surgery. The whole staff is super nice and you always feel welcome and in good hands. I would recommend the office to anybody, looking for a great OBGYN experience.
I can’t speak more highly of Dr. Dunham and his bedside manner. I have never had a GYN that has made me feel comfortable. I normally do not feel comfortable with a male doctor. I also want to say that Dr. Dunham’s nurse is fantastic. I’ve enjoyed talking to her before every appointment, just by her being there has helped me feel more at ease. Thank you guys for being awesome medical professionals. Your team is a rare find.
I initially was very divided on this practice. I received great, loving care from the providers, but felt practically dehumanized by the reception staff! I pursued the issue with administration, and am so glad I did. They are human, they have things to learn and at the bottom of their hearts, the mission of this practice is to provide the best care for their patients, truly.
This is such a great facility! I had appointments with both Dr. Even and Dr. Dunham and the care I received was exceptional. They made me feel heard and valid, and the questions and problems that I had been dealing with for 5 years were resolved in 1 month because of the attention and care this staff gives. I would recommend Advanced Gynecology to anyone, especially those who have had their concerns brushed off by other doctors in the past. I am so grateful for doctors like them!
I feel blessed to have had Dr Stringfellow as my doctor for such a difficult time in my life. Dr. Stringfellow is by far the most Knowledgeable, capable, and professional doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.Dr. Stringfellow and his staff literally helped me get my life back . Thank you so much for much needed compassion Dr. Stringfellow. You are one of the finest . God bless you .Respectfully- S.
Dr Roy is amazing , he went above and beyond , I’m very pleased with the care of the nurses and friendly staff
I was in the military for 20 years and had 2 surgeries do to scared tissue, constant abdominal pain, and many years of endometriosis . Multiple injuries to my pelvic area and abdomen they wanted to do to patch the issue not fix it. I was referred to Dr. Stringfellow and it was the best decision I made. After my histerectomy I no longer have pain I am now able to enjoy life. He is such an amazing Doctor and I cannot thank him and his staff. Thank u and thank u so much.
Dr. Stringfellow is an excellent physician, he listened to my concerns and we talked through a plan together. His staff is efficient, caring, and thorough.
The drs here are WORTH seeing, but the the front desk ladies are difficult. I was turned away bc I had my 3 year old with me, I was not met with kindness until the Dr called me after I walked out and told me it was ok to have him with me. I appreciate the drs willing to work with me, but Im left with hard feelings after being met with 0 compassion from the front desk ladies.
I went in from a referral from Evans hospital on Carson and wow was this the greatest experience I’ve had with something I’m extremely uncomfortable with. Chris (Dr. Stringfellow’s nurse) was incredible. She made me comfortable and it showed because my BP reading was the lowest it’s been at a doctors appt. Usually I’ll get asked if my family has hypertension due to high BP readings at Evan’s (anxiety caused). The Dr also took his time to explain things thoroughly and even answer my questions without making me feel rushed. 10/10 would recommend.
I am a longtime patient of Dr. Stringfellow. Throughout my history of care, Dr. Stringfellow has provided expert, compassionate gynecological treatment. I am so grateful for being his patient. I trust him explicitly and highly recommend him, Dr. Dunham and his entire staff.
Dr. Dunham and his staff are amazing. I highly recommend. I have had issues for over 15 years. Durning those 15 years he was the only the second doctor to make my voice feel heard! I can’t thank him and his staff enough.
For me to personally recommend a physician and his/her practice to close friends, I must truly believe that practice is one demonstrating knowledge, compassion, and wisdom. I believe Dr. Stringfellow and his group represent each of those qualities. As a result, I have recommended Advanced Gynecology to several friends. Ive felt my concerns and questions have been genuinely heard and discussed!
My wife and I came here to get her help and when we were not able to get to our follow-up appointment she was charged a no show fee. When I called to get it waived(they waived it) I was told we would be able to call back in at our time to reschedule. Now weve tried calling and they have removed her as a patient and will not apologise for triggering my wife into a panic attack now for removing her without our knowledge. I am very disappointed and angered that zero empathy or understanding was used in seeking my wifes care here for a missed visit that we were told we could return. These people dont seem to have a heart at all.
Very unprofessional they have you wait so long before they can even see you. I had to wait for three months for an appointment just to be seen. I asked if there was anyway possible if they could see me sooner because I had went to the ER for bad pain and nausea to find out I’m bleeding inside my cyst and it could burst any moment and if I can maybe have a sooner appointment and they told me it’s best if I went to another doctor because they had no availability. That just shows how much they care.
Dr. Dunham and his nurse were the BEST EVER. They were both very compassionate and kind. It’s very difficult to find providers who truly care. Simple amazing human beings.
So this is a difficult change to make to my initial review. The majority of my experience with these people; most prominently Roy C. Stringfellow, was good. For the most part; they were kind, helpful, and understanding of my pain while suffering through endometriosis. The cause of my change in opinion was my second surgery; a laparoscopic hysterectomy. I woke up in pain, I struggled to manage my pain in the hospital post op, I went home in pain. The first 24 hours were unimaginable agony for me. And I was given only 20 low dosage pills initially; that were assumed to be enough for a recovery from a major surgery. It is now 1 week, 2 days, post operation. Full recovery time is 6 weeks. I have nothing to dull my pain because I was given such a low dosage that they didnt work enough no matter how much I took. When I called the morning after the surgery, panicking and in distress from the pain I was experiencing, I was told to go to the ER if it hurts so bad.I cannot comprehend why my suffering was so intense, and why it seemed suddenly unimportant. The pain itself was traumatic in its own right. I am not usually one to regret any decision I make; but if I could choose to go back and simply soldier on through the endometriosis alone without the 2nd surgery, I would. That was far more tolerable than what I have experienced in the past week. Im not sure what factors are to blame here; all I know is that I was in the worst pain I have experienced thus far in my life and would never have chosen it had I any idea how bad and painful my recovery would be.
Have had an amazing experience here so far. The staff is not only lind but caring and genuinely want to take care of you and help you get to your best self! Would recommend especially if youre a female thats not as comfortable during these types of visits. The doctors are very knowledgable and have an amazing bedside manner and will explore all options with you to help you find the best treatment possible!
This is the BEST office!! The drs actually listen to your needs and really care about your health!! Dr Stringfellow is the most amazing, caring Dr that does amazing surgery and has the best bedside manner!!
Great care and innovative support for hormone replacement.
I cannot say enough about the exceptional care provided by the practices doctors, nurses, MAs and staff. They all provide tremendous, compassionate, expert treatment and Id trust them to care for my family. If you need an ob/gyn who can help with conditions like interstitial cystitis or endometriosis, go here.
I saw dr. Stringfellow, and his assistant chris.(best assistant ever!!!!). My dr. had retired and was wonderful, but difficult to replace... I found this office ...... sad I didnt find it sooner!!!!!! Most wonderful people. The front dest ladies sylvia and lori were kind and friendly as well... they were running a bit behind that day but so worthwhile!!!!
If you want to be treated poorly. Hung up on. Expect phone calls with results when they say they will and not get them. Then be treated even worse when expressing your frustrations with their office. Then this is your spot. Sylvia is about as professional as the rat she looks like. Cathys personality is just as ugly as she is. No professionalism at all. Suprised i dont see the ladies feeding out of a trough behind the front counter. Thats the amount of professionalism you get when you show up here. Absolutely no help at all. Avoid this office at all cost. The reviews that comment on slyvia and how un professional they are are accurate to a T. The other reviews have to be fake and the sad thing is we love love loved Dr. Even but the receptionist is the lowest form of professionalism. Theyd fit in perfect in Pueblo.
Out of all the OBGYN’s I’ve seen, Dr Dunham and his staff is the top. All my questions and concerns are answered. I always feel like I’m being heard which is most important. I have nothing, but rave reviews for this practice.
Doctor Roy Stringfellow is the kindest doctor I’ve seen. Provides knowledge and empathy. I’m grateful for their care.
Would give zero stars if I could. They dont provide the Nexplanon because of religious reasons and will stigmatize you as high risk if you have more than one sexual partner a year (funny how they dont ask if you use condoms before making that judgement). Whatever, will no longer be going here and will warn others to stay away. Under his eye
I reccomend this place, they are very nice and experienced in there field also Dr.Stringfello is very pleasant and explains everything so thorough.I went with my mom and ended up having my own procedure called Emsella to help out your bladder.in Dr.Dunnams office.i reccomend this procedure to anyone.you can call to look into how it works..Again so pleased with the overall work they do.Its a plus that they are so helpful, and kind greatful always for good care
Frustrating experience..- 2 canceled appointments without notification- Waited for over an hour to see the Doc (with an early appt. time)- No call back with biopsy results (doc had not read them 2.5 weeks later)- Doc forgot I had esure and pulled hard on one of the coils (very painful)I gave them the 2nd star because I eventually got what I needed.
Dr. Dunham, Linda, Rhonda, and Karen were absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend them. They were on top of everything without being pushy. Very easy to work with.
Dr. Dunham & Dr. Bradley are by far the best OB’s I’ve ever seen. The entire staff is so understanding, kind and very helpful. Would recommend this office to everyone!
Dr. Dunham and his staff were great to work with. Took the time to explain the procedure and make it a comfortable experience.
Sylvia seems quick to hurry and get me off the phone every time I call in regards to referrals and scheduling. It’s like they don’t want to help me at all.
Dr Dunham is so amazing and helpful! He never pushed any treatment on me!
Great experience! Everyone is very friendly in the office and they really helped me feel better.
I called this office trying to find out more information regarding the billing, etc, and the front desk lady, Sonja (?), was not very helpful, short, and hung up.
This place is amazing, between staff and nurses and doctors. Theyre amazing and friendly.
Fantastic!! Dr Dunham and his staff are amazing!
Amazing doctors and staff. Thank you!
The entire staff is super helpful, kind, and pleasant
Great staff, and friendly...very professional
What a great group!
