Went with a friend who needed bloodwork done. Took her toddler to the bathroom. I had to wipe the toilet seat as it had dried urine on it. As I sat, the toilet seat was NOT screwed on and I hadnt noticed until the seat pinched the back of my thigh. My neice had to tinkle so I had to hold her up so she wouldnt get pinched. Then there was NO soap in the dispenser. We head back to the lab, where we try to get sanitizer for our hands only to find it empty. Couldnt tell anyone since there wasnt ANYONE at the desk. As a medical building this is NOT acceptable. I would give NO stars if I could. Get your building operations straight!!! Not very hygienic. I now have a bruise from the toilet seat and my thigh is throbbing. Thank you very much.
Today it was the most horrible experience at Sonora. I made my appointment 2 weeks ahead, appin.time 9.45 . I have to be fasting for 12 hours , so I expected my appointment on time or no prison to make an appointment. When I came it wad at least 20 people in the waiting room and 1 flebotomist. After 40 min. sitting with huge headache I saw only 2 people was done. Left the Sonora place at 67 av. and Union Hills with no drawing blood, no happy, no satisfied.
Came in for a blood draw in general labs. Checked in on the computer and waited about 5 minutes. My person was super kind and helpful and made everything as painless as possible. In and out in about 20min.
They make you wait forever in the line for drop off even with refrigerated specimens. Desk was rude. Im a cancer survivor...so Ill be a lifetime customer. Im headed to another location and if we are treated the same, we will look elsewhere for our testing needs for my daughter and I. Your customer service is F-. I see that on the other reviews here as well. So im NOT WRONG. Headed to 62rd ave and union hills. Hopefully we wont meet more horrible employees.
Dont put your number in at the check-in kiosk so they can text you. I got a text back pretty much by the time I got back to my car 5 minutes later to wait and once I made it back in a couple minutes later they had already taken my name off. I was waiting 10 minutes until I told them I got a text 15 minutes ago saying that it was my turn. I had to interject and tell them I got a text they were otherwise just popping out and calling peoples names then going back inside. No one was sitting up at the front. Really weird system...
Scheduled an appointment weeks ago, arrived a few minutes early, there is one employee walking around in the back ans no one is front, everyone is out to lunch. We have been waiting 45 minutes to be checked in for an appointment they scheduled for while everyone would be out to lunch.
Came in for blood work for my child & the phlebotomist we had was nice, but had a hickey all on her neck. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
The worst lace Ive ever gone , Im a Nurse and NEVER seen disorganization. , lab tech is at the. Computer rude most of the clients or receptive, while the patient service girls are trying to do the desk job. The lab tech at the front Kalan has been acting tLike the queen be while her name tag states lab techSo with a 2 + waiting he she needs to get her butt to the back and her job. Obviously with the waiting room full they need her help as this is so far behind. Ive never seen this type of lab ran so unorganized and having this person yelling at people is outrageous. I would really like to see her be spoke too!! Or possibly go through some type of training. You dont treat patients int his matter. I will never return to this lab again. Thanks Sonorann Quest for a real I eye opener. Never again.. Im still sitting here with 21 people its been 2 1/2 hrs. This out rageous again as a Nurse unacceptable we hy Sonoran quest are you not looking into this lab. You have a lab tech at the desk and patient service girls walking aroundAs a manger at a facility Im as appalled at poor service and lack of knowledge. And not ONLY that to be sitting her for over 3 hrs now just to urinate for a test. Good grief get me out of here. This is the worst lab Ive ever seen!!!.
A few weeks ago I made an appointment for today. I get there and the kiosk shows no appointment and wont let me check in. Theur new website must have lost my appointment. There was no one at the front desk. Just a sign telling you there is no one there and to check in using the kiosk.
So this particular Sonora quest lab on 51st avenue and Thunderbird, is probably one of the smaller facilities Ive been too. The best way to do this place is to book an appointment online so then you are given a barcode. You scan the barcode when you get inside the office and it automatically puts you in line for your appointment. Within 5 minutes my name was called there was about three or four minutes of paperwork, and then I set for approximately another 3 minutes and was called back get my blood drawn. The technician made my blood draw very easy and painless from the time I arrived to the time I left took about 35 minutes
They got me in quickly and made me feel comfortable while doing a superb job
Great experience, I didn’t catch the name of the lady who did my blood draw, but she did a perfect job on my arm that’s usually uncooperative. This place is busy-bring a book and plan on 60-90 minutes if you’re a walk-in.
I had an appointment scheduled for a week. I show up and they are closed. No email or phone call to alert of the closure, even though they had been closed since 10/31 per the note on the door. The note also said to go to a location down the road, which I did. They have no appointment in their system because the appointments are location specific. I could understand no notice if the closure was last minute, but when it is for days in a row, let folks know 🤬
They forgot a newborn test after we were already there and left. We had to go back to get the test. Found out the next day from our pediatrician that they threw away the test, so we needed to have our daughter poked again by the pediatrician.
I love this place Ms. Yo is like THE BEST i always get scared of needles and getting blood drawn but she made it so easy and so comfortable and fun I love her. She is almost definitely the life of this place. I would totally recommend coming here and asking for her if your trying to get blood drawn. Again she’s THE BEST and lovely and nice and every good word in the dictionary. 💓
It looks like only one phlebotomist was working. She kept calling those who had appointments. I took my mom we signed in at 10:00 am and they called us at 1222 pm l. I used to work in this location as a phlebotomist. I used to draw a patient within 3 minutes. I draw between 70 to 60 patients every single day. They stuck her 4 times to get her blood. But they couldnt draw her
I don’t normally write reviews but today I had the pleasure of having my blood drawn by Jacob. Even though the waiting room was busy, he greeted everyone with a smile. As soon as I was called back he made me feel comfortable. I unfortunately started to feel dizzy and lose consciousness (something I’ve never experienced before). I was nervous but he was calm and helped me through everything. I believe (Mike) also came in and assisted me. They both stayed with me until I felt better. Thank you for providing excellent care and for being so kind.
Ive been having my blood drawn every 3 months for the past 20 years being a type II diabetic. Ive never had any issues with blood draws. This time I experienced pain like Ive not felt before. Im not in the least afraid of needles, but because of the nurse that did this blood draw I will never ever go back to this location for blood draws. It was painful. The needle looked twice the size of whats normally used. Forget this location.
Three stars are for how fast I was able to get in, but it was still early in the morning. I would give the phlebotomist 0 stars! He was horrible. I told him that he should use a butterfly needle because I have very small veins that roll and play hide and seek. Nope, he decides to keep jabbing and moving the needle hoping to get lucky. It was painful and I started yelling ouch! He finally decides to go to the other arm and do what I told him to do the first time. Guess what, it worked. Try listening people...
Cant get their stuff in order to properly service clients. Had two lab orders for a patient of mine that needed to be done asap for prescription refills. I asked them two times if it was for both the orders they said yes. Sadly they only completed or submitted one lab order. They then caused me to have to return. Instead of fixing the issue right away they had me wait in line again for an hour and 30 mins. Really need to work on your service. Will be following up with a supervisor regarding this. Certain things are time sensitive.
The guy in the front desk was nice, the Hispanic lady that took me back with the drawn on eyebrows had no people skills at all, she was having a bad day and it showed in her service. I wish they would remember they choose to work there, they are not there forced by law.Place was clean and I was called back 21 minutes as a walk in at around 11:09 left at 11:35 .I even smiled said hi, thank you and have a good day, hopefully she isnt like that all the time.
I am so tired of the rude staff at the front desk! I have been to this office the most but have also been to the office on Camelback and 19th Ave. The technicians that do the testing are usually wonderful but the front desk staff can be very rude when they don’t want to help. Do they ever consider what the person needing the labs are going through? Sometimes a little kindness can go a long way! When I followed the instructions to see the front desk when my appointment time could not be found, I was rudely told “I can help if you don’t know how to do it.” I have advanced degrees and work in health care - I know how to check in! But if the system isn’t finding me and I am instructed to see the staff - I follow directions. Only to have a condescending staff member “help” me! Believe me - if I didn’t have cancer I wouldn’t be here! I will drive further to go to a different lab for future needs. Sonoran Quest - you need to address your staff issues. I do not see many high reviews for quite a few offices!
The front desk personnel were professional and helpful. I saw people having a difficulty electronically signing in and an employee came out to help. My phlebotomist was very professional and friendly.Im not sure why some others rated this office low, but making an appointment and being friendly yourself, goes a long way.
Great customer service. In and out quickly and lab results were sent to my email in just a couple days. The place could use a little updating. Maybe a freshbcoat of paint.
This place is ridiculous. No appointment but waited here 3 hours to get a simple lab panel. The staff is rude and complacent to the fact people wait hours. There is absolutely no efficiency to seeing people that are stacked in the hall like cattle. You check in on the digital system and there is NO interaction with the staff until THEY decide to speak to you. If course, you have no other choice but to deal with it if you need to labs done on a Saturday. The staff are acutely aware of that fact and their poor customer service reflects this. And if the owner chooses to respond to this post, there is no excuse for the way this office is run and Im not interested in your apologies...just fix it!
I am transgender, and require blood tests regularly for my hormone therapy so I tried using this location as it is relatively close. I will gladly drive farther to get my labwork done than go to this place again. The staff is incompetant, will only do half the labs, and gives you nothing but trouble. They are the only problems Ive had in my otherwise amazing care I have received for my transition.
They ask you to pay and make an account before you can even schedule an appointment. That you will find out is a month or more away. It is appearing to just be a way to harvest your personal information and to collect money for services so far away...This place already has a two star rating. Should they even be doing medical services?
Very unprofessional, I will not be returning to this location. There was a long wait with no one else in the room. When asked why it was taking so long they responded because were training someone. I understand that, but I saw atleast 4 different employees. One of them could have helped us out. Also the woman in the front did not want to accept my payment because it was cash and I did not have the exact amount in change and dollars and asked me to pay with a debit card. She said she didnt have enough change to put into the enevelope for each transaction and said she would not go to the bank to get it, instead asked me to come back another day or get change at walgreens. Change is something they should have there in the first place. How can you ask a patient to go out of their way because you dont want to do your job. She finally decided to take my payment because the other employee convinced her to, but kept complaining out loud the whole time because she thought it was such an inconvenience for her to have to go to a bank. I am astonished by my experience. No customer service what so ever.
Long waits I can handle. That is apart of going to doctors, they can only get to you so fast when there are so many people. What I can’t handle is feeling like the front desk is MAD at me for coming up and asking a question. Mad at you for not understanding the new check in system. And from what it looks like on this review page this bad service has been going on for months and no one has ANY intention of fixing this situation. Do Not Go here save yourself the time and frustration. Not worth it.
I went here for Sonora Quest laboratories. One of the best labs Ive been to in Phoenix. But it needs and updated to keep great employees like, Ms Yo, she Is the best person male or female that Ive ever had draw my blood. I am scared of nothing other than needles and I never even knew she poked me. This will be the only person who will ever draw my blood again🤣😇🙏. Somebody needs to make her the teacher of everybody that is drawing blood.
I am here for a standing lab order as I am every month. I checked in on the machine as I’ve done several times before and I received a green check mark. I was then called to the window and accused of not knowing what I was doing. I don’t appreciate being rudely spoken to and treated like I’m dumb. The front desk people need a lesson in how to politely and kindly speak to people and not talk badly about them to other patients and workers when your still in the area.
We brought my son to get labs drawn today and I definitely recommend this location. Here in AZ, there has been thousands of new positive covid cases daily and to put it lightly, I was pretty hesitant about bringing my 10 year old around people. My son is blind, special needs, non-verbal, and isnt always an easy stick. I walked into Sonora Quest and when I got to the front desk to check in, asked if someone could call me when the phlebotomist was ready. My son doesnt have the greatest immune system and is on about 8 different meds a day, plus with his autism sitting in the waiting room just wasnt an option. Our phlebotomist, Angelica, called when she was ready for us and she was so amazing. Angelica had asked one of her coworkers to help because my son is pretty strong and wont sit still for a draw. Angelica and her coworker (sorry I didnt his name) were so great; very professional, personable, and most importantly; talked my son through the process. Thank you both for your hard work each and every day. It does not go unnoticed.
Give credit when its due! Last week i came in for a bloodtest for my son preop. Although what i had was incorrect and not a bloodwork order from the doctor, Mrs Denise Hill tried to help assisting us by going above and beyond. It is the small gesture of kindness that is greatly appreciated and remember. The front desk was also nice. We will be returning to this location as loyal customer.
Wow this place is terrible. I was sent here to get blood taken, which should have taken a few minutes. I have been here for two hours. The place is a zoo with over 10 clients sitting in the hallway. I went from 24 on the list to number 1 on the list in about 30 minutes. After over an hour I finally got up to ask how much longer it was going to be. They said many patients have been waiting over an hour and a half. Like I said I still havnt been seen and it’s been two hours. I will never come back here ever.
Very clean location and the staff is very professional. I had a walk in for labs and I didn’t have to wait too long, even though the office was clearly packed. I like this location.
I took my son to this location and it was fast. My son liked this place because it was clean. The employees here are friendly they helped my special needs son not to be scared. He has been to other labs and will not let them draw blood due to they way he has been treated. But here they are so nice and my son was happy he asked if we could go there again.
Sadly Bad experience here Everytime. The Receptionist in the front(Older Native Women) is Very Rude and Unprofessional. Some patients that come in are going through Cancer or other medical issues, last thing we need is rudeness from someone who is in the Field of helping patients with their needs.
Some of their phlebotomists are unprofessional. Even they dont know how to draw blood because I was phlebotomy. One of the techs left the tourniquet for more than two minutes. If you leave the tourniquet for more than two minutes it will cause a hemoconcentration.
Even after getting a call stating they had lost my sample to please come in grab another container and make another drop off. Ok, I get it, things happen. I am still waiting to drop off the 2nd sample, it has been an hour and a half with that sample in my pocket. Receptionist was made aware of the situation and that this was the fault of their company. No regard to that. Besides that, why would you want to have this many more people sitting in the is room for more than hour to simply drop off an analysis container???? Unbelievable. I wouldnt be complaining if this was my fault, but WOW!!!!!!! Way to go guys!!!!!! NOT!!!!!!!!
The wait was a little long, but thats what I get when I walk in last min. Staff at counter was polite. Lonnell did my labs for me. He was very polite and had a great sence of humor, best of all he got the draw on the first try! (And that is tough with me!) Im giving Sonora And Lonnell a thumbs up today. Good work!
When I 1st checked in I explained to both the gentleman and the lady working at the front desk that I have a drop off that is Containing stool specimen and that other was a form to get blood supplies done for my Doctor that is very urgent the gentleman at the front desk then stated that he will have one of there techs come to grab the stool specimen and they will be with me shortly to do my blood samples then 30mins past and I went to the front desk to see what was taking so long cause my stool samples had to be refidgrated then the gentleman at the front desk said they havent took your samples yet I said no he stated theyll be with you in 5mins then 25 mins past so a whole 1hour past as I was walking up to ge front desk the tech megan called me back. She pulled me back into the room as we go into the room I told her that I was here to drop off stool samples that were stored in my bag for a hour and then stated to her i was not going to be doing my blood work today I told her I having been fasting for over 4 hours and I need to take medication that I had to eat something cause Im not feeling well I explained to the technician megan as she gave me so much attitude that she pulled me out of the room and brought me to the front to check what was going on because your computer systems were down I told her that isnt my responsibility I told tell gentle in the front I had these samples over a hour ago then megan stormed off and said Im dealing with this she said Im taking the next patient in line. Who in fact had a drop off also she took her drop off but didnt bother to take mine. The manager stood behind the male receptionest the whole time this was going on observing everything then decided to hide in the back room because I asked where is your manager. Then the receptionest said thats him. Then the Male receptionest said what are you dropping off I said again for the 5th time to him I have a stool samples that needs to be dropped off. He asked me where your slips I need your slips. I told him there packed nicely inside this black paper bag I have with my samples. He told me I needed to pull them out he needs to see them physically. Then I asked if we could please do this in a room he refused my request to be pulled into a room for a second time and he asked again I need to see them now. I told him thank you for embrassing me in front of all these people because you wanted to see the slips I had to set all my specimens on the counter so he could verify them all. As this was going on the manger was watching the entire time and did not bother to save me an embarrassment he simply went to a backroom and closed the door. I was so embarrassed I walked out of there and left my samples there on the counter and immediately called my insurance company and filed a complaint against your clinic and Im going to leave this statement on Yelp, google about this place never again Sonora quest.
Sonora Quest Lab can improve by not hiring rude people and liars. I was there today about 1 hr and 30 mins ago to get blood drawn at the one on 51st and Thunderbird, there were 5 of us so my mom and I went first and my younger sister watched 2 girls (7 and 5) that I was babysitting when it was her turn to get her blood drawn so I watched the 2 girls. When I was watching them they were laughing and messing around on the seat but there was a person was a little gas machine so we were standing right next to the bathroom in the corners where no one can bump into us and there was a woman wearing black scrubs, a laid back curly hairdo, and somewhat a deep voice who worked there came out a room and told us to sit down and stop running around which we werent (she was rude) but still obeyed. Then we played Pikachu sitting down laughing sitting down and making jokes sitting down and there was no quiet sign, she came out of the room again looked for my mom and told her that we are running around again. This woman was so rude and making lies making us look like kids that are creating chaos. I want justice, I was this woman to write a sincere letter apologizing for exaggerating and making lies making us feel that we did something wrong or trying to burn the place down. I dont want the 2 girls that I was babysitting to think that this is how places in the medical field are rude and mean which some are not because the other woman that drawn my blood was an amazing elderly woman was very kind. So please, dont treat patients with kids this way because its not right especially if they are not doing anything wrong.
Do not take your special needs children here they fish threw the vains even though you ask them not to. My son is 4 so imagingine holding your 4year old autistic son down so they can play in his vains had to ask them twice to remove the needle. My son has got multiple blood draws about 12 in his life so far and never have they done this to him... As for my 1year old got it the 1st time. Will not be returning to this location. Front desk was amazing though.
Im a hard stick. My veins are deep, small and they roll. So usually it takes a minimum of 4 sticks, but the manager was able to get a vein on her first try! And that never happens! Great job!
Make sure you write your name on your pee sample container! This place is very inaccurate. They had to of mixed my sample with someone else or had false positive. Will never go here again, and even proves how pointless and inaccurate pee testing really is. Changed my outlook on testing for sure.
This Sonora Quest Lab at 5310 W Thunderbird Rd was great. All staff are very friendly & quite helpful. Sandra D. drew my blood & I didn’t feel any stick. Thank you all for your professionalism.😊
Great front desk service.. Customer service was upstanding!! I was number 11 expected to wait more than an hour but i was in and out with in 45 mins without an appt. Elisa did an excellent job as a phlebotomist didnt even feel anything.. Thank you !!!
Wow!!! This place is so primitive. Office staff is so rude. Lab tech stuck me twice then called someone else to stick me. This place looks so much as a pop-up lab. Looks like if I show up the next day it will be gone. The only thing I can say is that they do take walk-ins.
Danie is AWESOME VERY SWEET AND RESPECTFUL!!!!
Went here 6 months ago to get some blood tests arranged by my physician. Come to find out, my doctor was never notified of the results so now I have to go again. 6 months ago I had a car, now I have to pay for the !
Ms.Yo was so patient and awesome and made my dad feel good since he is scared of needles! loved her and will come back if needed with her.
Just called this location to ask a two simple questions, and the woman on the phone was so rude. She had an attitude the entire call, and then stopped me in mid sentence and said “we have a two hour wait I can’t sit here and answer your questions”. Won’t be making an appointment there that’s for sure!
First time at this location and had a very positive experience. Everyone was very professional, kind and made the experience go well. Thank you for doing your job well. Thank you Monet and Denise.
Office sucks need new worker thy are lazy
The staff are friendly and helpful. I always go here. They are fast! Thank you for being amazing
Wonderful. I hate needles. They were very patient. Bit short staffed but it happens. Thank you so much Ms. Yo! See you all next time!
Why even have an appointment? Appointment 45 minutes late. Walk in time wait 45 minutes.
Input staff friendly. Tech, Stephanie friendly and caring. Overall, as good an experience as one can have while having blood drawn for testing.
No point making an appointment, ours was at 12 and we didnt get called back until 1:30! I went to say we were leaving at 1:15 since we had another appointment at 2 and they informed us we were next, but next still took another 15 minutes. After we left we agreed never again.
Waited 3 hours to get blood drawn went in at 9 didnt leave till 12:30 Ive never hated a place so much to make a review except this place is am exception their lucky I dont act immature or else I wouldve been out by 1030 when 12 came around thats when I went to the desk a 3rd time told by diedra to wait then found out she skipped me!!! I was soo pissed needed 5 min of blood to be drawn ugh I will never go here again I was even sitting in the front row patiently waiting so I wouldnt miss my name but the worst thing was I happen to get stuck by deidra and I have a big veins she couldnt even stick me she tried 3 times and finally called for help the guy that came in did it his first try.. almost 4 hours in this place for 5 min of blood drawn got stuck a total of 4 times horrible place to go to Ive been to other locations and never had any issues I would not recommended this place to anyone!!!
I have switched to this location, due to faster service! The staff there is very pleasant always :-) Today I had Velisia, and have had her before....very sweet girl, and good at her job!
If there is below one star i would chose that even one star is lot for this place.... So am telling everyone thing twice before you go that place... Well if u went there dont let.... Alma... Kayla... Kenneth those three touch you.. The in experience... Un professional... Rude... And have bad ever attitude ever i dont know how the got the job...
Our daughter who has sensory issues, was nervous. Dessera was extremely attentive and drew her blood quickly without any meltdowns.
Great service. This is the only location I will ever go to. Toryann does a superior job drawing blood.
It was a Saturday morning and the place was packed and people were waiting in the hallway but they were moving people in a timely manner. No complaints!
Unorganized disaster is what Id like to call it If you have the opportunity to go elsewhere do so Im not even allowed to ask a question until it is my turn this is ridiculous management needs management
The people are rude and act like your not there when you check in. Asking a simple question is difficult because they dont listen. This is the first time I have been to this place. I would go somewhere else
Why is it so difficult to speak with someone?
Front staff very kind, helpful and accommodating. Lab tech super gentle. Will come back here again for my lab work.
I made my appointment 2 months out so I can get a 1 of the day appointment cause I work at 8am and still waited over an hour. RIDICULOUS!!
The staff was friendly and I was in and out fast.. thank you for making my experience good after having a bad one at a different location!
Here every month or every three months I have been to several other Sonora’s and when I schedule an appointment I’m seen on time but this one forget about it!
Service was very quick I got in, the man at the desk was quick and I was sitting in the waiting room less than 5 minutes
Front office staff could use some work on smiling and their social skills but phlebotomist Denise is amazing!
In and out quickly with an appointment.
I get in and out everytime staff is so friendly and make me feel comfortable
Had a wonderful experience at this location ,vs another, from the front desk through the blood draw process.
Yelp was right but it was the closest. Same rude lady, did not even try to be pleasant just talked to her co-worker.
Completely rude people comes out into the middle of waiting room in front of all others to talk about money i owe.....all over $38.00 back in 2015 over 2 years ago.....they also act like you not even there after checking in and when ask a question they act like you bothing them
Used web site twice to schedule apartments and web site recorded apartments wrong and had to miss. Never using Sonoran Quest again.
The staff are friendly. If you have an appointment you wont wait long it takes 10 minutes and you are in.
Very rude staff especially Vanessa!! I would not recommend this place at all
Worst lab ever .after i did appoyment online my husband was there and they refuse to give a information.bad very bad.rude front office .
The service here is horrible. Had an appointment and they put the folder in the no appointment line so we had to wait even longer. How hard can your job be?!?!?
Don’t plan on coming in Saturday for a drop in. Best have an appointment.
What is the point of scheduling an appointment when the walk-ins get seen before you, and your waiting 10 minutes after the damned scheduled appointment?~~
One likes to get blood tested they make it easy affordable in and out
Super rude receptionist, long wait times. Not clean.
Did not bill our insurance and attempted to charge us 3x what insurance paid out.
Very friendly staff. Wait time not bad as I was a walk in.
Dont be late !!! I was there at 3pm and they had the door locked already
Simple, quick, and very nice and polite staff. Couldnt ask for more.
WOW RUDE WORKERS, dont ask a question they will not even look up at you and than they act like your bothering them, I also watch them to this to a very older person.
Friendly staff. I was in and out, no wait compared to the Eugie location.
Great with babies!!! Thank you for your dedication and excellent work!
Front staff need customer service training.
Very clean. Friendly staff.
Doesnt do employee drug testing
Really rude staff on the front desk!!!!
Friendly and fast service.
Aspen was great!
Mary the trainer amazing
Very nice people
Very nice people
I want to make a report about this laboratory, where can I go?
