I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday morning, and they got me in and out in 30-40 minutes! Office staff was friendly and answered my questions. Phlebotomist was professional and efficient. I didnt feel any pain during the blood draw. I was very impressed with this experience.

The wait time can be long at times but I really appreciate the staff here. I have 3 little ones and they always go out of their way to help me with them. Its a very clean location as well.

No one at the front desk. Terrible customer service. I only needed to pick up a quick item. I literally walked out and went to Lab Corp. Way better customer service. I suggest everyone reading this to do the same. You wont regret it.

The first time at this place had 1 person waiting in the waiting room, but yet we had a long time. The Phlebotomist that called us back was an older woman with white hair. Although this woman was very nice, she was as slow as a turtle 🐢 and her private cell phone kept beeping. VERY IRRITATING. She was pretty much going over paper already done by the front desk!! Ive been to several other locations so I know that the phlebotomist ONLY needs to verify name,date of birth and POSSIBLY what the test are. My husband sat in the chair about 15+ minutes in on top of the 20+ minutes in the waiting room. Nice building poor service,long wait poor service :(

Today, my girlfriend went to this location to get a blood test. There was a young employee taking blood tests from people, and when he was drawing blood from her, he asked for her phone number. This is highly inappropriate and illegal because he was on duty and working at the health department. Employees need to be professional, respectful, and follow the rules and the law.

Just left there after waiting an hour. Probably about a 3 hour total wait judging by the amount of folks waiting ahead of me. Went a couple miles to “Any lab test now” 51st ave and Union Hills. Like 5-10 min wait here. I heard that this Sonora Quest laid off some people and is why they’re backed up so much.

GREAT Phlembotomist! The most fun experience Ive had at a Sonora location. I usually go to a pretty crummy one in Surprise but this one is going to be worth the travel for me from now on. Got in and out within 15 min [with appointment]. The tech was so charming, they had me laughing the entire time. Wish I could give em more stars.The Google Maps directions gave me two different entrances based on whether I searched by the physical address or searched by business name.. Depending on which side of the building you enter youll either see a SimonMed sign or Dermatology signage, both are correct. Its located inside Building A, 1st floor, follow sign for office #160

I recommend!! I didn’t have an appointment and they got me in and out within 30 minutes! I thought all staff was very friendly and the phlebotomist was quick and efficient and caused me 0 pain (I’ve been told my veins can be difficult). I know some of the other reviews were very poor but my experience was the complete opposite.. it was great

Not a fan of getting calls from a robot to discuss billing, only for them to tell me to call THEM back at the same number. If your company calls me, I expect the decency to not waste my time. I could have taken care of the situation when I answered the phone, but now expecting me to wait around all day for a phone call back to take care of it when you initiated contact is ridiculous. Ive never had a pleasant experience dealing with Sonora Quest over the years, and its no wonder, when you cant take care of billing in person, they spam you with robot calls, and then blame you by sending you to collections when they make their own billing process difficult to complete. This company seriously needs to do better.

I had to take my kiddo for blood work and was slightly dreading it. I chose this location because they had the most convenient time and soonest appointment. We arrived and checked in. They were going over the orders and noticed the doctor missed a page. They called the doctor and had them send over the correct information. During this whole process they updated me on the status. Once it was received they got us back and did his blood draw. Once finished they walked us out and apologized for the amount of time we had to wait.We only waited 30 minutes because of a mistake the doctor made. If it wasnt for wrong paperwork we probably would have been done in less than 10 minutes. All staff were friendly and professional. I will make this the location I visit from this point on.

I had my blood drawn today and did not have an appointment scheduled. The office staff at the front were so nice and welcoming. When I was brought to the back Sophie was very sweet and provided great customer service. When she couldnt get the vein the first time she kept asking if I was okay and went and got Debbie to assist. Debbie was very nice as well and kept me comfortable. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely Drive out of my way to come back to this office when/if I need lab work done again.

All the Sonora Quest Labs seem to have a problem with their front-desk employees.I tried this one thinking it might be better. I was in a long line and when I was next in line, the young man, Carlos, made me wait until the while line was taken care of when I was only picking up a test that was right behind the counter. I asked him if he was too busy if one of the three people behind the counter could grab it for me. He said no, that they were busy. After the line had been taking care of, he went back to grab my kit and had to interrupt one of the busy people to ask if he were doing it correctly.???

Although the wait time was long we had no appointment our experience was great. I had to get labs on my one year old and I cannot thank Marisol enough. She was professional, patience, and caring. She did a great job!

I had labs I needed drawn before getting a very important medication. I called Wednesday to confirm hours in which the rep told me theyd be open today (Friday), only for limited hours. I showed up several hours before their expected closing time (based on the lies the rep told me) and not only was the door locked, no one answered and their was no sign on the door explaining whether they were open/closed/on lunch. Also, the hours online do not reflect what they told me as well, currently states Open . After calling, I was unable to reach anyone. Obviously each business has the right to set their hours, however, if you say youll be open I expect it to be open. If I can give a zero stars, I would.

Originally, I came in as a walk in to get labs ordered by my endocriniologist. I waited there for probably 45 minutes before they took me in. No big deal, it was pretty crowded at 10:30 am.The nurse who took me back was sweet, but she could not find my vein. I’m only 18 and I’ve never had a problem with them before. I drank a bunch of water that day, as well. She stabbed my left arm, and moved it around. I asked if she wanted to try my right arm. She did, and missed. Moved it around some more until it slipped out. I started having a panic attack, because I hadn’t eaten in twelve hours and was quite dizzy from all the poking. And I don’t even have a blood phobia! She kept asking if I was okay, or needed to lie down. It made it worse, honestly.She got her supervisor, finally. Bless him. She said that my veins were big, but she couldn’t hit them. He took one look at my arm, found the vein immediately, and started taking blood. He said my veins were really strong, and I think the nurse was hesitant to poke me too hard. I thought I was going to pass out, but he talked to me about school, passions, and plans for the future. 8 vials of blood later, I was done. He reassured me the amount they took was very little, as I’d never had that much blood taken before.If it weren’t for that supervisor, I’d rate this place 1 star. The front desk staff were slow and distracted, and when I mentioned my wait time, they were condescending. The nurse was extremely inexperienced (though everyone has to start somewhere, I don’t think a busy lab across from a hospital is quite the place).I do not recommend coming to this lab if you have a blood/needle phobia. If you do, please try to use the supervisor. I’m not quite sure his name, but he was most likely in his mid 30’s-early 40’s, black hair, dark eyes and a long dark beard.

This location is by far my favorite. Yes the wait was a bit long-- but the one on one care is always very professional.Katie drew my blood today- did not hesitate to use a butterfly needle - other labs always give reasons why the dont want to use one! My veins dont always cooperate- but the labs techs in this location go out of their way to make the draw as easy as possible.i highly recommend this facility

Theres nothing on the outside of the building that shows how to get into Sonora Quest. There is a Big name saying Sonora Quest high on the Northwest corner where I parked, but no entrance below it. I walked South then East a LONG way to a building entrance where there was NO signage for it, and when I asked someone, was directed to an unmarked hallway that went west, and at the very end found a door marked #160 where its located.After the blood draw they showed me how to exit the building very close to where I parked through an unmarked door.In addition, after the blood draw when I left and was driving away I saw blood dripping from my arm. I had to do two U-turns to get back to my parking place, found the unmarked door, and got right in so they could put on a new bandage to stop the bleeding.

They are nice here and the wait times are decent. Our favorite Sonora Quest went to appointment only, so my family found this one and we like it. Planning ahead by three days to schedule appointments doesn’t work for us. Walk-in is the way we like things to be. They listen to my teen son when he tells them he has narrow veins and needs the butterfly needle. The building is sooo fancy. You feel like you’re in King Louis XIV’s palace!

I took my 10 month old daughter here for a simple lab draw. My daughter has had multiple lab draws in the past and we had Derrick as our phlebotomist. He was the WORST! From the moment he called us back he didn’t even say hello to us. He was SO rough with her and aggressive. I will never bring my daughter here again because of that reason. He was so unprofessional! I work in the healthcare field and I have never seen anyone be that rough with a little one! She has welts and starting to bruise just from the tourniquet. Normally I take her to Phoenix Children’s Hospital For her lab draws. And they are great there. I called ahead to make sure that they were comfortable doing pediatrics and they said it would be no problem. Do not bring your child here. Worst experience ever and Derrick does not deserve to work in the healthcare field! If I was the supervisor and saw his actions that Occurred today I would’ve fired him on the spot.

Owed them $394 from my deductible on my insurance. I was ordered to pay $100.00 to even take my blood yesterday. I ...like others are NOT rich. I offer $50.00 dollars. They denied it. Said it had to be $100.00 or nothing. I felt the employee who told me was rude and mean. I understand they want their money. But a more reasonable payment plan should have been worked out. Since I did need these tests ASAP. I tried to call their main office and could not get through to anyone for help. Its all voice-mail. I did give a urine sample before they found out about my insurance. And the bathroom was disgusting and gross. I dont recommend this place, especially the lack of concern and cooperation. It was all about money.

Staff was friendly and pleasant when I had a lab draw on May 27. However, the phlebotomist lacked sufficient training, jabbing the needle in so painfully, hard and deep he had difficulty finding the vein in my right AC. I used to be a phlebotomist and I had to remind that he wasn’t at a 15 degree angle! I asked how long he had been a phlebotomist & he said THREE MONTHS! I consider this an owner/management issue that needs immediate attention.

Man, I love waiting around to be stuck with needles. But seriously, it was super fast and efficient. The staff were nice and they did an excellent job stealing my blood. I probably wouldnt have caught them if it werent for the fact that they made me sign, verifying that it was indeed my blood.Amateurs.

I went to this place for a blood test the day before thanksgiving. The person who drew my blood, Derek Johnson I believe was his name, stabbed my hand with the needle almost perpendicular to my hand. He then proceeded to remain in the hand, and was adjusting the needle in different positions in my hand heartlessly despite my screams. I am used to having blood drawn every month, so I am not a newbie to this - in fact am a pro at this. I was screaming and begging him to take the needle out. But he didnt listen. Have attached a pic of this and I will register a complaint against him.

Sonora Quest Lab is a terrible lab. It is located in the same building as my Cardiologist. I was very sick and needed STAT lab work done for possible toxicity from contrast dye for a recent procedure. My doctor does not have a lab in his office so I went here to get STAT lab work. I was charged $31.50 extra for the rush (on top of the blood work charges). I was really sick and passing out in my doctors office. The lab said it will be available in 1-2 hours or by the end of the day. That was at ~12:30 pm. I was too sick to go home so my doctor put me in a room as we waited for the STAT lab work that I paid cash and extra for.Well, they never produced the results. I went home sick with no answers. We called the main phone number for the lab office at 4:30pm to get the results - which were still not available. They charged me for STAT and I was very sick and needing them asap, but I got nothing. The next day... still no lab results.This place is terrible. I still dont know what is going on, and I paid cash and extra for services that were never provided.I will be contacting the FTC and other agencies and filing a consumer complaint for fraudulent services . They put patients in serious risk here - all the while as they rip them off. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Butchers! My guy re poked my arm 5x and could not get it! Plus The two Hispanic guys in there I got way too much attitude for that early in the morning. The guy that was administering the shot was cool at first but then after he couldn’t get it he started becoming frustrated even after I told him you want to go for my hand not my arm. Then I try to make conversation with him nope doesn’t talk at all. Well hopefully not get the same guy twice when I go back and if I do please just go for my hand😃

Brought my 2 year old to the Arrowhead location for blood work. A Hispanic male was our phlebotomist. From the beginning, he did not demonstrate a friendly demeanor or try to make my child feel comfortable despite being a stranger to her. My child was so calm and cooperated the entire time. He seemed on edge, preparing to insert the needle. I can imagine drawing a childs blood isnt the easiest as the veins arent always pronounced. I understand. I hold my daughter and her arm in place. He inserts the needle and misses the vein. She continues to remain calm. He fishes in her arm for nearly 2 minutes. At that point my 2 yr old is scared, and begins to wiggle. I hold her still as he continues to fish for a vein. Finally the needle wiggles out of her arm. He gets visibly frustrated and walks out of the room. Not a word. Comes back, doesnt try to make my child feel comfortable in anyway. He just begins telling me my child was moving way too much. Blaming me and my child. At this point my child is scared of him and he just stands there staring at us. I comfort my child for a minute. She calms down quickly.. Then tell him, we are doing our best. He responds, Hold her with a death grip if you have to. I am completely shocked and tell him we will reschedule if we have to. Not at any point does he show compassion or concern for my child. He didnt try talking to her or try to earn her trust. In my opinion, this man is not qualified to work with children and very unprofessional. Afterwards, I ask the front desk for the mans name and the supervisors name twice. No one would tell me any names. Finally the supervisor who was standing at the front desk and listening asks me to follow her to a private room. From there I tell her what happened and she thanks me for my feedback and said sometimes the phlebotomist gets too focused. This wasntbeing focused, this was lack of personable skills. Still never got his or her name. Other than listening to my complaint I have no reassurance that Sonora Quest cares. We will not return and I recommend parents NOT to take their children to this location.

The girl upfront was talking about her not having Friday off about how her manager wouldnt let her have it off because another employee is leaving early mean while Im waiting to be helped. Then I thought she was talking to me so I answered and she laughed and said haha I was talking to you to her coworker. Very unprofessional. She had braids. Not happy at all. They ended up not getting my business would not recommend

Screw this place. Told me 45 mins, still sitting her an hour and a half later and my name is going backwards on their “list”. The lady keeps telling people, we will call you up in a minute, and then you sit for another 45 minutes. I understand they want business, but it’s BS to tell people low wait times and make it that way. After waiting 45mins, you are kind of invested, would have left if I knew it would be more than double that. This place sucks.

I had the WORST Phlebotomist ever! Will not be back, it’s sad 1 bad apple ruins everything. I Teach Phlebotomy for a living & the fact this man who drew my blood kept moving the needle, stuck me twice & caused me unnecessary pain & a hematoma absolutely not! You sir need to go back to School or find something else to do! You are a terrible phlebotomist you have zero people skills. Please consider finding something other to do for a living because clearly drawing blood is something you are incompetent with! I will be filing a formal complaint!

I cant praise them enough. Took my 7 month old here after a horrible experience at another location. If you have a child or baby who needs their blood drawn- take them here! They are experienced and so good with kids. I will gladly make the drive to attend this location in the future.

The lab services are good. The reason for a 0 star is because they are way too quick to send people to collections. Since they didnt have a contract with my insurer, it fell on me that I had to submit their claim. After submitting their claim, I informed Sonora about the same and told them that it will take about 30 days for the claim to be processed to which they agreed. My insurance did pay them some amount of money and I was responsible for the rest. But without sending me the invoice for the remaining amount, I was sent straight to collections. This is highly unethical and unprofessional. I am taking my tests to some other labs from hereon.

Ive been going to this location for 2 days in a row, the doors are closed and no one answers. theres no sign on the door stating why theyre closed, the website says they should be open for business. There is no way to talk to the staff in the lab so its very hard to know when they are open or closed at any time

This is THE WORST Sonora Quest location I have ever been to. I made an appointment, checked in and received a text that it was my turn. No one came out to call my name and yet my name was removed from the list on the roster located on the TV. I waited for 15 minutes to try to speak to someone and no one helped me so I left. Sonora Quest should close this location because they clearly are incapable of running it properly
