On 9-20-24 Elizabeth Messina was absolutely amazing, I have never had anyone explain an ear inflamed the way she did. I loved in it. She is super sweet and patient. I could really tell she loves what she does and sometimes thats hard to find. Rebecca Bradshaw did a great job checking my sons vitals and she was patient as well. Tahnee was awesome as well getting us checked in. I am so glad I decided to visit the office on Woodruff Rd it was a great experience😊
Urgent care is not urgent at this location! I went here with painful mouth, blisters, and swollen lips due to an allergic reaction. I registered online and pre-signed everything at 9 AM in the morning. The app told me to wait until I was 5 in line to arrive. After two & a half hours, I was never past a 2 so I decided to show up myself. I was told it was because there were more urgent cases than mine that came in. I don’t know what could be more urgent than someone suffering from allergic reaction w/swollen lips that could turn into shock, but OK. At the time I arrived, there were only two people ahead of me. One person finally walked out because she said she had been there all morning. So there was only one person ahead of me and an hour and a half later I was placed into a room and they took vitals. I was told the doctor would arrive in a moment. An hour and a half later I was still sitting in the room. I stepped outside into the hallway and was told that she was doing other procedures. Performing procedures on who I asked; there was no one here? Apparently it was procedures that had appointments???? I was told would not be able to come in for at least another 30 minutes or more. Oh, I forgot to mention that when I arrived, it was early because I had a work appointment at a certain time and wanted to make sure that I could make that appointment. I was told no problem it wasn’t busy, and they took my $75. So two hours later and I’ve not seen a doctor and they told me it would be at least 30 minutes and could be longer. I asked for a refund and I was told That it would be a process because they took my vitals. I still want a refund was told there was no problem when I got there and that it wasn’t busy. The people there were having a good time in the office laughing and chatting while I was sitting in that room waiting and waiting and waiting. No one ever checked on me & implied I would be helped in a moment. Their attitude was very callous when I told them I needed to leave. I was in a lot of pain. no one should wait 2 hours or more when there’s only one person ahead of them and especially when they’re told it wouldn’t be long. I will not go back to this location will even go to any Bon Secours location again.Organization of prioritizing patients does not even matter.
I came in close to closing. Receptionist (T. Murray) happily greeted me, didnt seem exasperated at the last min show as other places may have, and was super helpful, patient and cheery. Shes a gem! Physicians assistant( or nurse practitioner?)L.Miller, was exceptional as well. Also was super empathetic, timely, and wasnt at all antsy or in a hurry as are some other places if its time to go home. Really was a wonderful experience and my toe and foot are starting to feel some relief.
During my recent visit to AFC Woodruff, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of care and professionalism demonstrated by the entire staff. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist welcomed me with warmth and efficiency, ensuring that my wait time was minimal. The nurses and doctor were not only attentive but also exceptionally informative, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of my treatment options. What stood out most was the staffs genuine concern for my well-being. They not only addressed my immediate health concerns but also took the time to offer additional advice and suggestions for my recovery process, showcasing their dedication to patient care beyond the walls of the urgent care facility. The facility itself was immaculate and inviting, creating a comfortable atmosphere for what was an understandably anxious time.I left AFC Woodruff feeling cared for and valued, an experience so positive that I felt compelled to write this review before even leaving the premises. My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone at AFC Woodruff. Your incredible service and kindness have not gone unnoticed. I highly recommend this urgent care to anyone in need of prompt, thorough, and compassionate medical attention.
Thanks for taking care of me yesterday, my nurse Tiffany was very sweet and compassionate while taking my vitals, also the provider Olivia was great..thanks again. I will definitely come back again
I had to bring my son in this evening for a corneal abrasion. The front staff were very helpful and the nurse practitioner was efficient and knowledgeable. From walking in to walking out with a diagnosis in hand, our visit was less than 45 minutes. I am thankful they were able to see my son so quickly to him on the mend! Thank you!
Went in for a work related injury. All the staff were super nice. I felt heard and taken care of. Probably cuz it was all women staff. Im not gonna be subtle about it. These women were great and professional.
The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Both who took care of me in the back are cool people on top of being professional! In and out for my DOT physical.
Weve been to this urgent care three times and all three times weve had excellent service. They are very professional and timely and clean.
Staff was great. Treatment was quick and professional. Definitely would recommend them if you find yourself in need of medical attention. Thanks for all you do!!
AFC Woodruff Rd is my go to when Im feeling sick. My PCP doesnt always have immediate openings and they have office hours which is not always convenient. I love AFCs hours, attention and service. Even as a walk I dont ever feel like I wait too long. They are pretty quick and efficient.
Woodruff location was willing to give my son a physical unlike the Five Forks Prisma urgent care even though we went to the same one last year. AFC was quick and easy to work with.
The staff were all great. Kelsey was awesome. One suggestion on the online form there needs to be a checkbox under employment for Retired so it will bypass all the employer info!
I was worded at first being this was my first time going to a random urgent care, but the staff completely calmed nerves . They were so kind a patient and went above and beyond .
Excellent care and highly recommended. Even wait time was excellent. Thank you staff and NP
Timely check in, wait wasn’t too long. Staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. The NP even suggested I should call back in a few days if I didn’t improve.A very professional and productive visit.
Elizabeth,Rebecca, and Tahnee were so sweet and helpful during my visit! Great bedside manner! Would definitely recommend coming here! Thank you all!!
They are all RockStars! Ashley went out of her way to make sure I had all the documentation I needed for my visit. Very friendly atmosphere! :)
I have been in customer service, sales and business management my entire career which is going on 30 years. Im not easy to impress. These folks were impressive. The receptionist and the ladies that provided my care were extremely kind, respectful, understanding and professional. Nobody wants to go to the doctors office but that considered, this was a very pleasant experience. I have a normal doctor that I see routinely but if I need something in a pinch I will definitely use this provider again. Bernie made me feel like I was welcome from the start and Tiffany, Lisa and Bailey were excellent care providers. Considering I received this level of service late on a Friday afternoon going into a holiday weekend made it even more impressive. I tend to have very high levels of anxiety when I go to the doctor and they had me laughing and smiling as I was leaving. If I could give them more than five stars I would. For the reviews complaining of a 30 minutes wait try the emergency rooms locally. You will be ecstatic with a 30 minute wait after that.
The provider and staff were all very kind and helpful! They saw me very quickly and had me out of there in no time at all!
Ashely, Divya , and Tiffany were all great. Quick and easy service. Very polite and helpful. Definitely 10/10 recommend
Receptionist and the nurses were exceptional! Great service and attitude all around. I was most impressed with the doctor, Glenn Brothers. He was very informative, communicated efficiently and made me feel at ease and not at all intimated. The place is small, but the staff was just overall fantastic! I was scared of the cost of the visit and the medication, but it was a lot more affordable than going to the ER! Not to mention the doctor suggesting the GoodRX app to use when buying medication at the pharmacy. Life saver!
Kelsey was probably the best urgent care doctor Ive ever had, she helped me a whole lot
Absolutely love the staff at AFC urgent care on Woodruff Road. The staff friendly they were kind, providing quick service. I highly recommend this.
The staff and nurses were real cool, nice, and welcoming. The receptionist was really cool.
Checked in 15 minutes ahead of time, arrived at 1230… still currently waiting at 2:20 to get the results from the X-ray they took at 1:50 … been here just shy of 2 hours and been in contact with nurse/Dr. Less then 6 minutes the whole time… also, we were the only people in the waiting room when we arrived
Very nice and clean environment! They got me in and out! Fastest I’ve ever had a drug test taken! The entire staff was nice, friendly and very professional!
I was in a lot of pain and discomfort and was treated kindly and expertly from the minute I walked in to when I walked out feeling confident that the medication prescribed would fix the problem. I will always use this facility in the future .
They messed up my DOT physical from start to finish. Doctor seemed only be in on Wednesdays. They forgot to give me all the paperwork to fill out. Id call and they said everything was fine. Stopped in Several times and they always needed something else. Each time it was a new smistake that they had made. They messed it up so many times that I ended up not getting the job. This went on for 3 weeks. They couldnt get me over to another Doctor because this Doctor was the one who started The process. I would not go here for anything.
Was in and out fast. The whole staff (Ashley, Divya, Tiffany, and Kelsey) were really nice and professional.
I have a sinus / ear infection. Went to afc urgent care woodruff rd on Saturday morning. Everyone was extra kind and super friendly. I saw Dr. Katie Smith and she took time to explain everything so well. Ashly in the front office even gave me a bottle of water and crackers while I waited because my stomach was quesy. Tiffany, the nurse and Diyva were also very caring. The ladies were all happy and you could they enjoyed their jobs. I highly recommend this office.
Fast and professional service when you need to see a doctor on the weekends. Very impressed with the doctors knowledge and diagnosis. Everyone was very nice and cordial. Definitely will use again.
The receptionist Ashley is extremely polite and professional. Divya and Tiffany are extremely knowledgeable and answered all of the health questions that I had. Torsh offered me water and crackers without me asking. I’ll definitely use this urgent care for any if my future needs!
I am giving a big thank you and much appreciative service to us for what we encountered over the weekend. The entire staff was entirely welcoming, cooperative and attentive to our time. Each member of the AFC on Woodruff Road uses their talents to get the care we were provided and wished us well in recovery. I would like to present the following crew who deserve to be recognized.Provider: Dr. LelandReceptionist: AshleyMedical Assistant: Divya, TiffanyX-Ray Tech: Torsh
Went to AFC on Woodruff Rd. recently to be seen regarding: 1) sinus infection, 2) dry cough, and 3) strep throat or thrush. The sign-in and wait time was really short. The nurse who checked my vitals and wrote down the reasons for my visit was FANTASTIC! The young woman was very efficient, friendly, and compassionate. While I’m waiting on the Dr. to come in, the nurse comes back with a throat swab packet and says the Dr. wanted her to test for strep. Isn’t a doctor the one who performs this procedure?Eventually the NP came in and she seemed pleasant enough but as soon as she walked in everything felt super-rushed. In fact, when I went to explain what was wrong she put her hand up in front of me and told me to tell her only what had popped up in the last 3-4 days, which was the throat issue. She barely touched my stomach and she only did ONE deep breath listen then suddenly she says I have thrush, not strep, and tells me she’ll send my pharmacy the Rx(s). She NEVER even acknowledged my sinus issues and regarding my cough she said I should see my Gastro physician. Then she left. I’ve never gone to a Dr. before to be seen for a health problem and somehow end up being refused a discussion/exam for my issue? Hello? That’s the whole reason I’m there and it’s YOUR JOB!
Super friendly, helpful staff with great attitudes. Kelsey, Tahnee, and Divya were exceptional.
The staff was very attentive and compassionate. They took the time to show they truly cared about my well-being. They were professional and obviously experienced based on the excellent care they provided me. I trust them and will definitely recommend them to others- especially the folks I care about most.
Very enjoyable experience considering Im sick. From the checkin with Ashley at the front desk who was friendly and efficient. To the medical assistant Divya who was sweet and kind. And then finally the Provider Liz Boggs who was straight to the point and very knowledgeable. I feel like I received quality care and will definitely utilize this urgent care again should I ever need. Thank you for making an otherwise unpleasant day, pleasant.
Waste of time going there. Front desk personnel arrogant, rude, and dont bother to be professional. Seemed like they were giving me a favor answering my questions. Wonder why there were hired for their positions with that amount of attitude. They are incompetent, unhelpful, and irritated with any communication with patients. This facility should have been closed.
Great service . Very impressed . Short wait time . Positive attitudes everybody had a great personality. Rebecca did great .
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially nurse Cole. :)
Everyone was so nice and friendly! Makes it better when you arent feeling well to have nice friendly doctors, nurses and staff.
The staff was very friendly, efficient, and professional! I recommend Bon Secours-AFC UC Woodruff for all your servicing needs!
I was from out of town and started having bilateral eye pain, redness and light sensitivity. I have a history of iritis. The provider was very personably, listened to my history, examined me and started me on steroids, drops for pain and an antibiotic drop. I was so appreciative and started feeling better within the hour. The center was nice, clean and orderly. I didnt mention it, but Im a retired military medical person, I check everything out and pay close attention. I would visit this Urgent Care again! Please thank the provider for the great care I received on 9 July 2023!
I watched Ashley, receptionist, handle a room full of people waiting to see a doctor. She was incredibly professional and kind. Amazing.Glen, RN, was also very knowledgeable and kind. He listened and explained some medical things which was very helpful.Snehal Patel, PA, was again truly kind. She not only helped my condition, but advised me on finding a PCP. Unfortunately, I can’t use Urgent Care as my PCP.Nobody likes to need a doctor. But if you do, this is the place to go.
From the front door to the last check out, everyone was very pleasant and helpful and professional.
The staff was amazing! Dr Boggs, Ashleys, Liz and especially Divya, I usually hate having to come to the doctor, but they made the visit enjoyable. Y’all are greatly appreciated, Thank you!
Horrible establishment… please do not waste your time attempting to go here. The lady up front was beyond rude. Poor customer service…Instead of listening she would talk over you, dare to have to get up out of her chair to do anything,(she would just roll around in her chair going here and there), talking about HER high blood pressure and cholesterol problems with the fellow employees while I am attempting to discuss my reason for being there, all the while under her breath said “she wished that little boy in the waiting room would hush with his absolute horrible coughing”. The kid looked to be around 6 and visibly very sick.I will never again go here for any reason…the only reason I HAD to visit the afc on Woodruff Road is because I had an appt for Sunday at 1 in simpsonville … when I got there there a note was on the front door saying they are unexpectedly closed and go to Woodruff Rd office. Worse mistake!if you’re in need of any type of medical care, you’re better off going to the closest vet because that is the way you will be treated, like a dog.
Everyone from the front desk to the medical staff were extremely friendly and professional. Thanks!
The staff were very helpful and very knowledgeable. They made my experience very delightful.
Staff were very professional and nice. Wait time was less than 15 minutes.
The staff were amazing. They made my daughter feel very comfortable. We love coming here whenever we cant get an appointment with our primary care provider. Thank you guys so much for what you do.Being visually impaired parents it feels really good to go somewhere and know that they’re fairly accessible to you. This place is amazing.
From receptionist to nurse, to doctor, all three were very professional, personable and knowledgeable. The service was some of the best Ive ever received in the healthcare industry! They are kind and move at pace to get things done without me feeling rushed. They explained everything in detail in ways I could understand. They are simply the best!
The staff were amazing at getting me in quickly, worked efficiently, and had a smile the entire time. Not only did they meet my medical needs, but they also made me smile after a terrible day.
The nurses did a great job!BUT.I scheduled an 11:48 am appointment and I didnt get seen until around 1:15 pm, give or take about 5 min. I dont know where the business system went wrong, but I scheduled the appointment and got the confirmation email around 9:05 am the same day (Monday). The automated system said to show up about 10 min early to ensure the appointment time, and I showed up about 15 minutes early just to be safe. After about an hour of waiting and seeing someone, who showed up after me, head to the back, I asked the front desk where I was in line. To which they responded by going to the back to talk to someone and came back and said I was then the next person in line.Take what you want from this, and obviously I am bothered by it, but I am trying to be as objective as possible, which is why I list times.Important points:Nurses did a great job!Timeliness of the business was an issue, even with an appointment. They did take the insurance of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.Side point:Even with taking a few X-Rays of a sprained ankle the appointment itself was only around 15 min, which was nice.Have a Great Day!
The wait was a bit long but the care was very good. The staff is more than helpful and very friendly. The doctor was knowledgeable and efficient
I went in 5/22/23 for bloodwork and a vaccine. Five minutes after checking in the nurse called me back. The doctor thoroughly explained what they were doing and why, and the nurse was very gentle and caring when giving the vaccine.
The staff seemed genuinely empathetic… from the receptionist calming me down and giving me turn by turn directions, the nurse that took my vitals and the doctor. It is refreshing coming from a much smaller western state city . I can tell you that this quality of health care is not the normal.5-star staff! Thank you ladies.JWR
Wait time was shorter than originally told. The nurse was friendly and the Physician was able to get me the help I needed. Thank you.
Oh my goodness, where do I begin... my husband cut his finger and we went to the Urgent Care in Simpsonville, they told us the wait was a little long but that the Woodruff location would be able to see us sooner. When we got there he was already signed up, they got him in quickly and Mrs EBoggs stitched his finger right up. I am so thankful when The Lord gives us favor and places such amazing people to take care of us. Thank you all so much for being so tender and nice. We thank God for you all this morning when I my self was so nervous and a little stressed. Thank you so much!
Everyone was extremely nice and caring and I was in and out in less than an hour
I needed to be seen for a sinus infection. I was registered two hours before my appointment. I came in the office and waited three minutes and was seen by a competent caring and wonderful nurse practitioner. I wish all of my healthcare experiences were as pleasant and productive. I got the medicine I needed and was on my way back to my normal daily routines. It is a busy time of year and we are in the middle of cold and flu season. No one wants to be sick for the holidays. The AFC staff made my day by giving me timely and efficient medical care. Thank you AFC and Merry Christmas
Was greeted upon entry with a smile by the wonderful lady sitting up front named Ashley. She was beyond courteous and thoroughly explained and answered any questions I had. I would recommend this facility to others.
I found all of the staff from the front desk to the nursing assistant to the physician assistant to be very welcoming, professional, and helpful. These qualities are hard to find in an urgent care setting. I had made an appointment, and once I had filled out my paperwork the wait time was only a few minutes. The PA was very thorough and I never had to wait once being brought back to the exam room. I would definitely recommend this office and will return if needed.
Provider - Liz BoggsReceptionist - TahneeMedical Assistant - DivyaThis location is right near my work. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and very helpful, highly recommend.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon, middle of a busy day, but were quickly brought in to see the Doctor with less than a 5-10 minute wait! He was friendly, genuinely concerned, and explained everything in terms that were easy for me to understand. They had the necessary medications on site to administer immediately, saving us the time of needing to go elsewhere. We were so grateful for their prompt and friendly service! Highly recommend!
Katie Smith, Ashley, Diyua, Tiffany, and Latorsha went above and beyond to take care of me, treating me, and ensuring I was comfortable while at the facility.
Liz was wonderful! She was quick and so sweet. Jared helped me get ready for Liz and he was so professional
I would recommend this Urgent Care center and will likely visit again if the need arises. All the staff were extremely nice. I was checked in immediately and was seen by the Dr. very quickly. I saw Dr. Lindsey, who was extremely personable; very pleasant and genuinely seemed interested in my care. The entire visit was around 40 minutes or less from the time I entered til the time I left, which I was very pleased with.
I came in the very last minute before the place was closing. Stuff didnt rejected us and welcomed us
My elderly father was in need of care. We have never visited an urgent care facility before, but this one was outstanding. From the moment we set foot in the door the receptionist was friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. The rest of the staff was equally upbeat and personable, especially Dr. Lindsey. He is truly a caring and concerned doctor who took the time to listen and take great care of my father. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of urgent care.
Ashley Pickens was welcoming and VERY professional! Enjoyed my visit!
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Visited this clinic 4 weeks ago with no problems. Attempted to visit today, makes apt online for 10:29 just to walk in and be asked to go back to my car while they complete my paperwork. After waiting in my car for 20 minutes I called back in just to then be told that my insurance was still being verified and they would call me when I could see a dr. Another 6 minutes go by and I’m told that they do not take my insurance and a $139 fee would have to be paid up front. At no time was sympathy, empathy or general consideration for the wasted 30+ minutes of my time ever shown in fact my information was delivered in a condescending, passive aggressive manner. Coming from health care HR, this level of disgraceful customer service is what gets employees written up. I hope management sees this and cross trains their new employees on basic customer service expectations.
Dirya and Kelsey were extremely efficient and very friendly!
Updating review 9/25/23. I had always had a good experience here until my last trip in May. I have called several times to talk to a manager but they are never available. I saw the doctor with a horrific sore throat. She only offered me steroids which I can’t take..no antibiotic. Of course the next day was worse and I had to pay to go see another doctor to get antibiotics and proper treatment. It’s very frustrating I had to pay for 2 visits when I clearly needed an antibiotic with puss in my throat and I couldn’t swallow. Won’t return here unfortunately. Cost me $73.00 for nothing.
My experience with AFC urgent care was, in my opinion, a complete disaster and I will neither be returning for any type of care or referring anyone to AFC.My first complaint is the unprofessional and rude staff from beginning to end. I presented Thursday afternoon for a routine pre-employment drug screening, checking in right at 5 PM. I was told that they stop drug screenings at 5pm and would not be able to do mine. After explaining to them that I only have a short window to have the drug screen performed and would really appreciate if they could squeeze me in- I was met only with hostile attitudes from two people behind the desk and absolutely zero empathy to help. This looked surprisingly like laziness, as I know it takes mere minutes to perform a drug screen. So I left to return the following morning.I arrived the next day at 8:45 AM, leaving work during my break in hopes of performing a quick drug screen and returning without missing much of work. After checking in, I was told I could not go to the restroom or leave the building until my drug test was complete. I waited for THREE HOURS for a drug test that took 4 minutes. To say that I was furious is an understatement. I missed more than three hours of work, was unable to step outside for fresh air or use the restroom. I went to the front desk multiple times to inquire about my place in line and was yet again met with attitude, short temper, and no desire to help. Their lack of desire for efficiency is appalling. When I was finally called for the drug test, it appeared the radiology tech performed it. If this is true, I do not believe it is in the scope of practice of a radiology tech to perform and complete paperwork for a drug test that will determine my employment status. In summary, AFC urgent care needs to work on their efficiency and their triage process. It is unacceptable for anyone to sit for three hours to wait on a drug test that takes five minutes.
Everyone in the place was extremely nice and courteous. The doctor I saw was simply amazing. Its been awhile since I felt like a doctor was there to answer questions and give me solid advice. My normal doctor pretty much rushes me out as soon as I sit down. I really enjoyed my experience here
The whole visit was smooth and efficient! Kind and caring staff!
My 6 year daughter was brought in today around 130p. My husband went into the facility to check her in because she had a injured toe that was bleeding very badly. He told the receptionist what was going and she stated that the wait will be two hours long! Once again my daughter is bleeding very badly! I use to work at this facility and when I did, if it was urgent then we would take the patient to the back to be treated! Not once did she ask the provider what to do or what was recommend just the wait is 2 hours long! I had to take my child to the ER JUST TO GET TWO STITCHES AND GLUE ON HER TOE TO STOP THE BLEEDING! All this could have been done there but the receptionist dismissed my husband as if care wasnt needed! This is so unacceptable and a new team needs to be hired to understand the importance of urgent care!!!
Good outstanding professional train service and excellent caring staff love yall.
Came here feeling absolutely horrible and was treated kindly and respectfully by all staff. Tiffany was beyond caring and made the anxiety inducing swabbing procedure nearly painless for me. Elizabeth Boggs has wonderful bedside manner and made me feel very cared for. Happy with treatment. Will recommend and come back if/when needed!
By far the best medical experience Ive ever had. Super friendly staff from the front desk, to the nurse, to the nurse practitioner and doctors! The best part was that they were really accommodating and understanding with my issues, no judgement whatsoever, and no awkward doctor conversations because we were cracking jokes while discussing treatments. Do yourself a favor, make this your urgent care to always visit!
On Thursday, May 30, 2023 my husband saw Dr. Linda. She told him she was prescribing a blood thinner. We went to pick it up and she had forgotten to give pharmacy the dose. We called CVS later to cancel the script for blood thinner and they said it was for an anti inflammatory. Also the phlebotomist neglected to be prepared to collect the blood after sticking my husband and spilled some items on the floor and when picking them up neglected to pick up a needle ( it was sealed) and put lid back on jar with cotton balls. This office is special to us as they helped us not miss a flight during COVID but all of the above is unacceptable and we will not go back.
Brother cut himself, came here around 4:30. Proceeded to ask him to examine the cut to see if they could treat him there. They said yes, we proceeded to wait 2 more hours or so, he filled paper work out and all. Then he calls me saying they can’t treat him and we have to go to urgent care. I asked why this wasn’t told to us as we waited over 2 hours to be seen just to be sent to the ER. Said that at first glance they didn’t know because it looked like a superficial cut. Will never be seeing one of these urgent cares again. Now the closest ER is closed and had to go further because we were not told ahead of time. Have better staff do examinations so people are not wasting their time. Unbelievable.
Beautiful people with kind hearts. Loved the nurse practitioner I saw today she was so kind and interesting. She actually took the time to speak to me about her life. It’s refreshing when doctors treat you like a human! The lady at the front desk reassured me in the sweetest way that the CVS on East Butler was a disaster❤️
They are wonderful, so nice to my 7 year old boy
This was the best vaccination experience Ive ever had! The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly! The medical assistant did the best job Ive ever had done on me with shots... barely even felt them! The NP took her time with me and helped me get all the information needed. 5/5 recommendation.
Great place for dot physical. I had miscommunication with Medicare card they went above and beyond to c Which one is that? accommodate me on what I need it thanks alot
I’m new to South Carolina. I just moved up here from Texas and I don’t have a primary physician yet. The staff at AFC is great! They took really good care of me. They’re also looking into getting me some names of some good reputable physicians in the area. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go to the extra mile for their patients.
Thank you to NP Elizabeth Boggs. She was so nice. I was seen pretty quickly which is great. Elizabeth listened to my concerns intently and didn’t make me feel stupid. She responded to my concerns with no judgments but rather with reasoning and facts as to why she came to her conclusion on my health status. We came to an agreement on what I needed and what I can do and I left feeling much better!
The staff were all nice and very kind! They even stayed late for us so that my mom could be treated. She feels well now and Im happy that we have AFC urgent care near our home. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Im in town for work and developed a pretty bad tooth abscess. It was after 5 on a Friday and no dentist to be found. We just so happened to drive by this place and stopped. The staff was very friendly and seemed very caring about my situation. As soon as I filled out the paperwork, I was taken back. The nurse was extremely nice. Almost right after she walked out, the doctor came in. He was super friendly and very gentle with my sore mouth. Since he knew we were from out of state and needed a pharmacy, he recommended a few to us based on our location and need for low cost options (our new insurance doesnt kick in for another month so everything was out of pocket) I think his name was Dr. Lindsey but I am not 100% sure. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I probably wont ever be in Greenville again but if I was and needed care, this place would be my first and only choice.
My doctor and nurse were so kind. So thankful they were there today.
2021....Went to this location for a DOT physical.I had No appointment , They got me in right away not a long wait at all. Front scheduler was nice , professional. The gentleman who took me back very nice professional. The nurse practionair was Awsume. : )Once I was taken back, I was in and out within 30 min had Med card in hand.Highly recommend this location. I like seeing the crucifix up high on the wall.Thank you2022Elizabeth your awsume.. lady upfront super nice. 👌 lady who weighed me a gave me the Eye test. Super nice as well..Thanks ladies. Cdl physical . .In and out
Hands down the best experience I have ever had at any urgent care in my life. Elizabeth, Catherine, Laquanda, and Jared are the utmost professionals. They really went above and beyond to take care of me. I felt very taken care of and listened to. That location is not that close to me, but I would go back in a heartbeat for any urgent care needs in the future. I was that impressed.
I went in for a broken toe. Ana was super helpful, nice, and personable! The rest of the staff was fabulous as well. I had my 2 kids with me (under 2) and everyone was very accommodating because I had my hands full. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, which is incredible because I had an Xray done, and had to nurse my baby while I was there. Ana even gave my son a sucker and that helped keep him entertained and he was so excited!
The nurse is there and the lobby front desk personnel was very helpful and I prefer anyone to go there. Your wait time wasn’t that long you be in and out within minutes
I visited this location on Sunday 3/15 @ approximately 10:30 am because my daughter was having a cough and complications breathing. Not sure of the receptionists name, but I could tell things were not going to go well. Her tone, facial expressions and body language was depictive of a person that was annoyed and maybe should have stayed home for the day. When completing my sign in sheet I listed the info for primary and secondary insurance, accurately. I supplied an insurance card for the secondary insurance as I did not have one for primary, but the policy number was listed. I also verbally asked that if she were calling to verify insurance, (because I saw her calling the number on the back of the SECONDARY insurance card) that she verify and bill the primary because the secondary may not have been updated as of yet. She did the opposite of what was asked. Even though the sign in sheet CLEARLY had the correct primary insurance information listed, she went around in circles for over an hour to get a result of what she should have done the first time and would have only taken 2 minutes through an online verification system that AFC uses. My daughter finally went back at approximately Noon, saw the nurse and NP(who were both great !) and we were out by 1pm. Horrible customer service up front! My advice: READ the sign in sheet for information and LISTEN to the patient. They probably know more about their situation than you assume you know how to do your job! Oh and the receptionist offered me a copy of the online portal verification of eligibility that she printed....(side eye)...maam , you mean the information that I initially provided you on my sign in sheet?, I already have it. Thanks!
I LOVE ASHLEY. She works up front and is the kindest soul they have. She’s informative and makes you feel comfortable . Way to go AFC !!!
OMG the staff was amazing. Mike introduce me to a mask shield insert that allow you to breathe with a mask on. If anybody work in the medical field, can appreciate that, I literally wear them all day and Its hard to breathe in these mask. Thank you Michael, love you. My nurse was funny as hell, she made my painful experience entertaining,Thank you nurse❤️ I would highly recommend this location. Best staff ever, y’all rock
I went for a DOT Physical and they got me in and out within an hour. I arrived when the opened at 8, without an appointment, and after filling out the necessary paper work, they took me back and did the physical. Good people from the receptionist to the nurse that took my vitals, to the Nurse Practioner that finalized the physical, everyone was curtious and professional and answered all of my questions and concerns. I will certainly go back to the same location for next years physical!
Poor poor customer service tonight! Receptionist is normall nice but tonight was not her night very rude and argumentative! No empathy for my sick husband. Staff was ready to go so my husband waited for and hour just to get checked in to be told to fill out more paper work after he completed his electronic registration. They didn’t try to help him. It’s awful he was really sick and irritated by poor service the staff did. I called to ask why they wouldn’t help him to get a rude response from staff. Sister could left the attitude at home or quit or she don’t like her job. Now a days you work where sick people come for help try and make it easy and amassing them not send them home in a worst condition. Will never come or give these people a dime of my money again and will dispute with insurance if they charge us. SMH
Was there for close to two hours. I received great care and was sent for some tests. Never got a call about my results (when I was told specifically that I would) and the prescription I needed was called into the wrong pharmacy so I missed at least one dose due to that. Seems like a good place to go if you just need the one visit but if you need anything else though, be prepared to do all the follow up yourself.
Walk-in. Not very busy. In and out in about an hour. Receptionist Ariel was polite. X-ray tech Latorshia was very nice. Dr. Adams has good bedside manner, which is important when you terrible. All in all, the personnel seemed caring and courteous, which is just what was needed other than my prescription.Update after initial visit: its been 3 days since initial visit. My prescriptions were not having an effect or good effect. I called to request something different that has milder adverse side effects. Call was placed at 12:30. Lady on the phone was courteous. I was put on hold, inadvertently disconnected but they called right back. She spoke with doc about my situation. Doc said he would call in different meds to pharmacy. All in all, still good service.I go to pharmacy at 3:45 and script has not been called in. I call doc office again to request when I can expect to get script.Called several times, left a message, kept calling till I got a person on phone. Finally got someone. She explained it was very busy earlier and my call-in script had not been called in. In short, I was forgotten. It is now 5:45pm.Even with these bloopers, I am not unsatisfied with service. I got new script and it is noticeably helping.Key thing to remember: walk-in doc offices get busy. Keep in mind their posted busy hours and be as patient as you can (no pun intended). Doc and staff are not gods. They get tired, overwhelmed, and deal with unhappy sick people daily. Just be patient, calm and keep calling if needed.
Made an appointment had to wait 1 hr.My apt was at 524pm. They took me in at 640pm. They took someone else that came in after me first. I have to mentioned it. They said that she had an appointment. Well so did i?The clerk said that she had an appointment so she goes first. Well I was there way before the lady..Then they were going to take another patient before me again. Then also had to wait an extra 30 mins after getting into the room.Seems like they forgot about me.This is not the first time. They did the same thing to us the last time with my child. They took someone else before us and said they only need a quick blood sample.
Impeccable service ! I have visited the Woodruff Rd. location on several occasions. The reception/front desk and medical staff are friendly and generally the wait time has been quite reasonable given the volume and location. What has impressed me above all is the respect and care ! Thus far on each visit, I have been met by a kind, knowledgeable, and thorough team !
The staff was quite friendly, and a nurse saw me right away. It took awhile for the doctor to see me, but that was to be expected. She spent a good deal of time with me, explaining the problem. What I especially appreciated was the fact that she showed me the website to show Walgreens if the charge I was quoted for the non-generic medicine I needed was higher than the website indicated. No doctor has ever done that for me before.
The staff was very nice to me and my family.
My daughter saw them on Thursday evening. She had chills, cough and a fever. They prescribed her some meds. The next day her temp was climbing so I called them around 7:30pm asking questions and asking when to take her to the ER. They told me to bring her in and they swabbed her nose and she tested positive for the flu type A. They prescribed her flu meds and took really good care of her. The staff was awesome and has always been. Kudos to Sabrina. She is the most kindest nurse. Well, I think she is a nurse due to her professionalism, compassion and knowledge. We thank you guys for doing an awesome job!!!!!!!
I go here whenever I, or my family need to be seen. Its quick, easy and the staff are great. Never a long wait. But the best part is the Doctor-he is so funny and nice, and really takes the time to talk to you about your needs and what you have going on. Would definitely recommend!
I came on a Monday for a drug test and TB test. I was told it would be 30-40 minutes. I waited 3 hours and finally left. Used a quarter tank of gas waiting. I’m back this morning with an appointment at 850am. It is currently 918am and I’m still waiting. This is the worst urgent care facility I have EVER used. If it was my choice I’d never come back but this is who my employer uses. If you can go somewhere else do it.
Everyone has ALWAYS been so nice and so helpful whenever I have gone in for myself or my kids! Today was another great experience which makes it so nice when you are not feeling well!
Had to come here for a drug screening for my job. Horrible service, with only one patient ahead of me I waited 40+min to just do a drug screening. Asked the receptionist how much longer she said “they’re coming to get you now.” Still waited additional 10+min to even get in the back. The Betty lady told me not to flush after my drug screening but never went in the restroom. She told me to flush as I was leaving. I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants “urgent care.”
Very smooth process of making an appointment and being seen in a timely manner. I went inside when I arrived and was told to go back to the car and they would call for me to come in. Never more than one patient in the waiting area. I was not in the waiting area for more than a couple minutes when I was taken back to the exam room. You can get a Covid test and a flu test at the same time here. Highly recommend!
Sabrina and Betty were great took care of my upper respiratory infection. Fast service and Ariel was great at registering me. I will be back when I cant see my Primary Care Doctor. I have seen Dr. Adams earlier this year and he was great, he referred me to specialist and I am now receiving the surgery I need. I would recommend anyone to use them.
My business uses Doctors Express for all of our workers comp needs. We switched from another provider several months ago due to some customer service issues and have been nothing but pleased. The doctors are meticulous with our employees, diligent in their follow up, and great at communicating with our office. The owners are fantastic to work with and truly care about their customers needs. I dont just feel like Doctors Express is a vendor - I feel like we have a relationship. I have been so impressed with their care that my family has started using their services on weekends and after hours as well. I cant say enough good things about Doctors Express and their staff! I would highly recommend them!
I was a mess when I came in, having been dealing with the sore throat from hell and three days on antibiotics with no relief. This doctor - Kays? - and the staff were fantastic. I didnt have to wait too long to be seen (like 15 mins) and they were quick but thorough, got me exactly what I needed and I feel 100x better today (the morning after). Id never been to an urgent care before and was impressed by this one. It was clean and relatively quick with great staff.
Amazing place. Most friendly and professional staff. I felt that I received very personal care and spoke twice with the physician on the phone regarding my care, which is most unusual anymore. They were all very concerned that I got what I needed to get better. I am not from this area but would not hesitate to use them again.
I brought my fiancé here to be seen. Medical staff took great care of him, however, the entire time I was in the waiting room I had to hear the front desk staff speak unprofessionally about another patient. We will not be returning because of this. No one should be talked about that way or have to hear staff speak unprofessionally about their patients.
This is a very friendly, compassionate team of people that truly care for their patients. Felt like we were more than a number. The physician was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to show me GoodRx App, in which scripts can be found at discounted price. A nurse took a minute to hug and wipe the tears my daughters face since she was crying from feeling so badly. This was truly an A+ experience- from the time we walked into the door, met with the front desk, walked to the exam room by the nurses, met with the physician and back out the door. Very professional & understanding. I would give more stars if I could!!
My almost 2 year old son hurt his elbow on a Saturday night. When it wasn’t feeling better Sunday morning the pediatrician advised us to go to urgent care. There was no wait and the staff was fantastic. My son did not want to cooperate for the X-ray but Jared and Elizabeth were so patient. We were able to have everything fixed and spent less than an hour there! This was our first “emergency” and the staff made it so much less worrisome. We really appreciated the kindness and thoroughness of the staff. Thank you!
Was very pleased with my experience. All staff were very pleasant and professional. NP listened to me and I felt she gave me the best diagnosis and treatment. Wait was minimal. Would recommend to all.
I have been here numerous times and until today they were always fine. I went in to get an antibiotic for what I suspect to be a sinus infection. I get them several times a year and have been treated at this location for that very issue before. I was told that this center does not treat respiratory issues any longer and that I needed to go to the Pelham road center and she would call ahead and let them know I was on the way. She even said that they were never busy. When I got there I was told no one called and they only took appointments now and I could not be seen until 5 hours later. What a waste of my time!
My family has used Doctors Express several times over the past couple of years for our medical needs and sports/camp physicals. Its convenient and open 7 days a week, which provides us the flexibility to be seen when we want and according to our schedule (a true benefit for working parents with busy kids). The office is clean and Ive always found the staff to be courteous and professional. Most important, the physician care has been excellent! Weve been seen by at least three different Dr.s and the quality and thoroughness of their care has been consistent. I highly recommend Doctors Express ...you will be impressed.
Both on a personal and a professional level this office has always been easy to deal with. When I go in as a patient I always get excellent level of care and when I send my staff for pre-employment screening the office has been goo to them and very easy to communicate with. Recommend to other patients and businesses in need.
Best Urgent Care Facility I ever visited. Staff friendly, efficient and fast. The Doctor and staff was excellent. Not your typical visit to see a PA (no disrespect intended). They diagnosed my problem using instruments that were conclusive and provided a prescription that worked.
Would not recommend...........First Incident- On Friday 8/13 I tested positive for covid. The remaining of my family in contact with proceeds to schedule appointments when they recd a phone call 2 hours prior to the appointment indicating the facility is being shut down for the day the doctor is sick without any option of rescheduling. My parents then go to the afc on haywood which was a whole different situation stating they were done taking patients for the day at 4pm when the facility is open til 8pm. The receptionist contacted the owner stating they would take 1 of parents not both. My mother stays they asked her to go to her car and wait that shell be seen approx 7 pm ( 3 hour wait). They attempted to do everything to deter her. When it only took approx 45 minutes total for her to recv her covid text and results.2nd incident- I returned to afc woodruff rd along with my daughter on 8/18. The receptionist and male nurse we encountered were a pleasure and helpful. On this particular day I tested positive again and my daughter did as well. After delivering the results the physician Elizabeth Boggs made derogatory rude comments and lacked professionalism. Once, the results we proceed to leave and the physician is in the hallway huffing and puffing with an attitude stating I was a waste of a test and she knew she had it and I shouldnt have been in there and more. My purpose in returning to the office was to get my daughter tested as she had been exposed twice and she was unable to attend or go in the doctor office alone. In future if theres an issued dealing with covid patients I would suggest a new career.
I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care on Woodruff Road. I called ahead to see if they were busy and they took me right in when I got there. Even though it was almost closing time, the staff (Ana, Gaye and Carolyn) were so nice and didnt rush me out. The whole visit was quick and easy. Dr. Kaysi was super and even gave me samples to help. Thank you!
I had a physical here and it went really well! The wait time was maybe 15 min and the actual physical just took another 15 min. The staff were extremely nice and efficient and made me laugh a couple of times! I interacted mainly with Dr. Crumpber and Latorsia and they were amazing. One last thing is that it only cost $20! Would definitely recommend going there again!
I appreciate the great care and that my daughter could be seen so quickly.
I visited this location for the first time today and was really blown away by the outstanding patient care I was given! Sabrina and Steph took such wonderful care of me, as did the manager Ana! They were very professional, but also took the time to listen to my concerns and put me at ease. Every employee treated me so kindly, it was a great visit all around! Ill definitely be back.
Just came back from a appointment with Dr. Kayci , It is so refreshing to have a doctor that will answer your questions, and show a actual interest in you as a person. He explained everything to me and actually talked to me, i have no doubt he loves his occupation. He was probably the first doctor that i have ever had , that has shown a interest in my well being. Right when he first walked in he puts you at ease. Organized, professional and detail oriented. Excellent job!!! I would never consider going anywhere else. !!! Top notch !!!
Amazing service. Wonderful people. Very helpful. I saw Dr Lindsey😁 he was the best doctor I have ever seen. Very caring and extremely concerned. This is way better than the ER. He is very professional but extremely enthusiastic and happyThank you too the entire team. Your guys are awesome
WOWWIE! I went to this place because of their reviews and my earache. The entire staff is uplifting and refreshing...not like most medical offices. Dr. Lindsay is the best doctor EVER, even though he is from Flint and likes the Blackhawks. I would pay out of my pocket to use him as my primary care physician, if that were possible. Mike and Faith are also prompt and awesome. Great service and team all the way around. I felt so much better after my visit. Thank you all! :)
I came in for a drug test and. Non DOT physical. The doctor and nurse, went above and beyond to ensure I was ok. And the fact that they are both women made it even better! Thank you ladies so much!!!! I can’t tell you how much I truly appreciate you both!
Arrived at this location with only 3 people in the waiting room. There was about 3 staff members at the front sitting and talking . It has taken me almost an hour to take a drug test . Someone walked in from the outside and was able to be seen in and out while the others before me and after me sat and patiently waited. They are not customer service friendly where someone welcomes you and ask you to sign in and state someone will be with you momentarily. It’s pretty much figure it out type of Urgent Care and hope for the best . Horrible location who announces how many people are waiting in the lobby as if it’s an issue ! I am really displeased with how this location is ran. Where is the office manager ???!!!
Came in for a sore throat on Sunday; felt a million times better by lunch on Monday. My nurse Brittni and Dr. Morris were amazing. They were excellent listeners and helped me feel at ease.Had to go in later in the week for a mysterious rash that my daughter had. Brittni is awesome with kids and so is Dr. Morris.Convenient location, hours, and clean clean office!
The photos hanging up in the lobby are crooked, BUT everyone in the care center are super nice. I feel comfortable, my questions were a professional manner with verbiage that I could understand. Setting up an appointment for a COVID-19 test online was simple and when you arrive, finalizing this process also efficient.
This place is amazing. I had to go to Doctors Express for a strange infection that Id had on my leg. The doctors at Doctors Express continued to help me receive the treatment I needed for 2-3 weeks. They eventually recognized that it was something odd because it wasnt completely healed, so they performed a minor surgery on my leg and I felt absolutely nothing as they were performing the operation, while I was completely conscious. The operation was successful and they found the cause of my infection and removed it. I was so completely relieved with the painless procedure and was so thankful for the brilliant work of Dr. Kays Kaysi. He was very humorous, but also kept a professional attitude. He made me feel very comfortable although I was super nervous and showed me that I had nothing to worry about. I would absolutely recommend this urgent care center to anyone who needs the care of a doctor without the long wait. I have been coming to Doctors Express ever since its opened and Im definitely not going anywhere else. Thank you Doctors Express!
Made an appointment for 1:40. I had severe pain in my hip muscles and a migraine that meds were not taking care of. Took about 15 minutes to be seen. They took my vitals and put me a room and never returned after over an hour waiting. I finally walked out of my room and notified the front desk I was leaving. I left at 3:05. I better not see a bill.
This place is amazing! My name is Vivian Hernandez, I have a Covid test today there! excellent treatment from the person in the front desk Im sorry I forget your name He was very kind, Jared coinder, take my PCR test, and was very professional and had a angel hands (everyone who has taken a test of these knows how painful it can be) and The physician Elizabeth Boggs was execellent and Empathetic!Keep doing this great job!I really recomend this place, the staff is phenomenal!
The office staff were amazing. I walked into the office with my mother for an urgent OB-Gyn need. Gaye was exceptional and made me feel comfortable with telling my reason for the visit. I was immediately placed in a room. Dr. Kays Kaysi worked endlessly to solve my problem, and his medical skills were first rate. I received the necessary prescriptions to make a full recovery. At the end of my visit, I felt relaxed and cared for with my health in his hands. I will definitely refer my friends, family, and co-workers to this office and doctor.
From the front desk to all of the medical staff, everyone was very pleasant and professional. I felt that my diagnosis was accurate with so much additional insight into how I should take of myself. I was in and out in 15 minutes! Excellent experience!
Great ! Our daughter goes to Furman and when she needs a Dr. visit , they have been awesome. Today I needed help with a receipt for insurance as I am out of town. Lindsey was so helpful and kind and located what I needed. Returned my calls and expedited all I needed. We will use them again if needed and highly recommend ! Thank you Lindsey for your help !
Sabrina Hinshaw and staff were really Fast, professional, friendly. They went beyond miles to discuss our issues with my doctor and helped me to get work in appointments on priority .You are really doing good work ! God bless you :)
The staff are very welcoming, comforting, and informational. The atmosphere is relaxing. Constance was the best MA Ive experienced. Dr. Snehal is awesome Dr. I would recommend to visit this clinic before going onTo ER
I felt sick, but I tested Negative for Covid. So they ran a battery of other tests to find out what the issue was. In the end, I left with a prescription and I’m already feeling better. This wouldn’t have happened at any other clinic. They really cared about getting the correct diagnosis.
The staff and doctor were very friendly and helpful. Nurse Betty and Dr. Adams were professional but compassionate. Well definitely use them when we need urgent care.
Both receptionist Ashley and the medical assistant Divya were kind and polite. It didn’t take long to be assisted and attended.
Your staff were awesome. Very kind and spent a great deal of time. Thank you so much I do appreciate it. Everyone was so nice and I would definitely return and recommend you for any future medical needs. Thank you.
Very disappointed in the service we received. My husband needed a yellow fever shot because he was going to be traveling overseas. We called ahead to see if they gave them there and they did. When we got there, everyone was very friendly and we told them what we needed. A little while later they said there would be an additional $55 charge (on top of the $140 for the shot) for a travel consultation. I asked if we could deny the consultation since I travel overseas all the time for work and have heard these things before. They said, no that was their policy. Ok, fine, it is what it is. But, when we saw the doctor, he did not even talk to us. He looked at my husbands form and said OK, do you need anything else?. I asked if this was the travel consultation that I was paying $55 for. He said he didnt have anything to do with the billing but that was all he had to do. He left and the very nice nurse came in and gave the shot. It was a complete price gauge and we did not receive any kind of travel consultation. We will not be returning there.
I went into the urgent care and due to my injury the staff took me straight back. The staff was very professional and Dr. Kaysi was GREAT!!! My family was with me and Dr. Kaysi was joking with my children to help make them feel important and to put them at ease about my injury. Going here was so much better than trying to go to the ER. I might have been there for an hour and that was from the time I walked through the door, wound cleaned and stitched up and back out the door. Thank you Dr. Kaysi and staff.
They are looking to improve always and that has not price. It is a very good practice to look corrections when the service is not very good. I had a not so good experience in a fisrt visit, but in a follow up visit, everything was much, a lot, a lot better!!!. Thank you to be in top of your patients, health service is always a big compromise with society.
I took my mother to AFC. She saw Dr. Phillips. He insisted that she had a cold and it would be gone by Monday. He said it would only last for 10 days. He didnt check her sinuses for infection, look in her mouth at her throat or anything. He told me if it wasnt gone by Monday that he would call her an antibiotic in. When we got the review of the visit, it didnt have anything on it that we had discussed. Everything on it was my first time seeing any of it. Nothing that we discussed was on the review of the visit. Her infection wasnt gone by Tuesday, and when I called the office for him to call something in, the reply that I got was that it wasnt in his notes. I was told that he said that if it was discussed that he would have put it in his notes. This is the most unethical visit that I have ever had.I was told that his main office is in Simpsonville where I reside. I will never go there again due to the way my mother was treated. The only thing that he did toward checking her was to listen to her chest. How are you supposed to know if her sinus is infected if you dont check her? I went in with her because she wasnt able to explain things herself and she was not coherent.
Our child needed a tdap vaccine, Divia and Tiffany helped calm him and were super patient! Thank you so much for your kindness
Have been using AFC Urgent Care Greenville for the last few years for all employee drug screenings. They have been Excellent! Great Facility, Always pleasant to everyone that we send for testing and offer super quick results. Ana is my go to person for results and billing.......she is wonderful!
The entire staff today has been perfect. This is a great urgent care facility!
Everyone was incredibly cordial and welcoming! The staff helped make me feel comfortable in my distressing situation. If you have the pleasure of getting treated by the friendly staff like Ana or Dr. Kaysi, then know youll be taken care of!
The Male radiology tech(working on 6/17/22) and Elizabeth were super kind and helpful. Would definitely return for urgent care if needed in the future.
Thank you, Ashley, Divya, Tiffany, and Torsh, for the excellent service. AFC Urgent Care on Woodruff Rd, SC.
Wouldn’t recommend. Wait times posted online are not accurate; hours and hours of waiting with no other patients in waiting room. Facility is extremely DIRTY. Staff is unpleasant and cold. Triage nurse was on her cell phone during intake ironically under the sign reading “No cell phone usage”. Tons of signs up around the office asking for 5star Google ratings.
The level of customer service here is amazing. Shamya was very transparent with me going into the appointment about time, and helped me when I was running behind to make my appointment. I’ve been trying to find somewhere to do a last minute COVID test for travel and she was able to get me seen!!
The team was absolutely wonderful! I appreciated the process of explaining everything and being patient with me when I wanted to freak out! The entire team from from check in to checking out was awesome
Great service and staff but 3 different AFC clinics and finally found one with EKG. REALLY hoping I will not get charged for all visits when I just got shuffled on to next AFC and eventually hospital, which I was trying to avoid.
I felt so miserable today will my illness but I was glad to be brought straight back & treated with such compassion & care from all staff members. I was in and out fairly quickly, given meds & a work note. Thank you mike, faith, and dr Lindsey for taking such good care of me.
I went in to get checked out for having cold symptoms. The NP was incredibly rude. She asked me if I’m from Mexico and I said no and she said, “oh I just ask because if you’ve lived there you can catch things..”. After she gave me my diagnosis she again said something about being from Mexico. As a healthcare professional, you should have better bedside manner. I just moved to this area and so far, I am not impressed with my experience with the Urgent Care. Invest in providing some sort of training for how your employees speak to patients because this is unacceptable.
Very friendly and professional. Fast, almost no wait time for it being my first time here. Facility looks clean and up to date. For someone not feeling well they make you feel comfortable and at ease. Definitely a nice place. :)
Worst experience ever at one of these places. My 1 yr old has been scared ever since to go to a doctor. We took him in because we were on vacation and out of state. I had to hold my son in a head lock just for the doctor to look in his ears. Never had a problem with my pediatrician doing this. He is able to look with my son hardly noticing. Not anymore. The doctor was very condescending to us as parents. Also he had x-rays taken to tell if our son had pneumonia or not which is fine if that is really necessary, but you know they will get payed a lot more to do this. He just prescribed medicine and no other comments. I called my pediatrician to double check the diagnosis and they relayed the common sense things such as have a humidifier running and try to get him to drink warm liquids. This doctor never mentioned those things. Anyways, this would be the last place I would ever try again. By the way we were here.
I understand this is in a very busy area and that it is cold and flu season, but it seems to me a three hour wait is a little excessive. My husband had the flu and we waited from 8:40am-11:12am just to get to the exam room, then spent another 30 minutes waiting on the nurse practitioner. I would have choose another URGENT (key word urgent) Care had I known the office was overwhelmed and couldnt handle the volume. If that was stated to us upfront that the office couldnt handle the current volume that would have been ok. When you sick the last thing u want to do is sit and wait for an excessive amount of time. If you do choose to visit make sure to ask upfront if the office can manage the amount of patients already waiting.
I would have put 0 stars if I could. I just had the worst experience of my life with doctor or NP Rosenblum. I have had 3 children, plastic surgery, stent placements, and have seen many many doctors. He was by far the most rude and condescending “professional” I have ever met. I went to get information because of my possibly broken nose from being hit with a Murphy bed. He pretty much shook it off and said he was a pulmonologist and not an ent. Refused to do an X-ray or anything. Also had no knowledge of anyone ever being in pain. He was clearly there for a check. He was soooo rude it was unbelievable. I then told him don’t even worry about it while walking out Of the room and he said what did you expect.. pain medicine?? I stalled and said yes maybe any reassurance or anything. He preceeds to tell me he isn’t giving me a narcotic like I was there for pain pills. Then when I walked out he came to the front because I was complaining to the receptionist to tell me to get out that it’s free not to charge me because he knew he was wrong. By far the worst experience I have ever had. There are multiple complaints about the unprofessional Doctors and NPs at this location. I will never be back and am also reporting the BBB.
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in over 45 years! The Doctor was horrendous and clearly was only their to collect a paycheck, nothing more. Staff was rude, even allowing many others to be seen before myself. After waiting for nearly 2 1/2 hours, they finally called me back. They did nothing more than to waste my entire time, including my child’s just to collect a check from my insurance company! Will absolutely let everyone know about this place. Clearly you get the bottom of the barrel @ this particular “Urgent Care”, most likely due to them accepting Medicaid. But whether your insurance is private, through your company, or the Government. It will not matter, as they will waste your time and quite frankly the “DOCTOR” has far less medical education than I have ever seen in my entire life. Hence, why I stated above how obvious it is that he is only their for his paycheck. Not to help people. MD360 on Verdae Blvd near the Internal Medicine Building is a much more professional staff, & mainly actual trained Doctors. Ones that care to help you with your issue. Again, I have never encountered a worse experience in my entire life when visiting a Doctor/ReadyMed/or even Hospital, & I was only going for an extremely minor issue for my child! It would be almost more worth going to the actually ER in most cases. Which is why I HIGHLY recommend on searching for other Urgent/ReadyMed type places prior to ever going to this office. You’ve been warned, & by the way...50% of their “5 Star Reviews” are from their actual EMPLOYEES! 😡 🤦♂️
The people working here, including the doctor, were fantastic and very quick/efficient. Love this office and will plan to come back whenever needed (although hopefully not very often).
Dr. Morris was wonderful! He was great with my 3 y.o. who needed a small cut on his chin closed. The only downside was that it took 2 hours from arriving to leaving. But the doctor was great!
As a National TPA we use the AFC clinics on a regular basis. Their clinic hours are great and always can accommodate our clients needs. Ana in the Occupational Health department is especially GREAT to work with. Its good to know when you have a question or need you can go to one person with a great attitude and always get an answer. On a professional I wish all providers had an Ana in their corner!
I cant say Ive had a problem. Typically others are there so if you walk in, you will have to wait a bit, BUT....once I had a special need and they took care of it before I saw the doc and did not make me wait longer. That was excellent!!! I was very appreciative. Polite staff. Answered all my questions. Its on a very busy Woodruff rd, so unfortunately....they lost a star.
It is always a pleasure working with the billing staff. Ana is quick to respond with information needed and patient when needing information in return. I was able to approach her with a problem outside of her department as well. She immediately tended to it and the situation was resolved that day. Highly recommend!
I was very satisfied with my visit from start to finish! The were very busy but moved everyone through in a very efficient and friendly way!Took more than the time it took to treat me for a pretty bad allergic reaction!I would highly recommend them if you need medical care!
This urgent care is the best and takes the time with each patient. I had gone to the one in Simpsonville and the doctor was in and out and one foot out the door before I could even ask any questions. They diagnosed me wrong so my symptoms got worse. The urgent care on Woodruff Road found out what I had and did a great job.
Long wait for testing but it was nice to register and then get an appointment time so we could return. Nurse and NP were so very helpful and kind. We hope they’re on duty again should we have to return!
Never before have a gotten up and walked out from a dr appt - until now (location on Woodruff Rd). The front office staff was rather cold and was bickering about other employees while I waited only feet from them. The doctor was disheveled and just came across as unprofessional. Through the closed door I could hear them talking about a previous patient who, in their opinion, didnt even need to come there. When I got there, the dr was mumbling about another patient (maybe the same one). Little tip folks - we can hear through the doors. Anyway, I figured it would be more in my interest to wait on my regular dr to get back in town than deal with them any longer. The nurse seemed nice, but that was about it. Unless I absolutely had no other choice, I would drive to any other urgent care or ER, or just wait.
My husband and I have had a number of positive experiences with Dr Kaysi for a variety of different ailments. At times when you feel your worst he uses humor to keep the situation light (laughter is the best medicine!), but also makes you feel heard, spending time with you and continuing to problem solve until we get to the cause of illness. So very thankful for our experiences here.
Doctors Express is VERY expensive. Please if you can use a local doctor and it is NOT an emergency you would be much better served to do so. These people are charging exorbitant rates and the quality of service is low in my opinion. They are convenient but dont let saving a little time lure you into the trap of a huge payday for these people. There is a very good reason their offices are not crowded and when you get the bills....no that was not a misprint...BILLS...you will understand why.
Since the change from Doctors Express the receptionists have been extremely rude. Every time I came in it was a fight over copay and they were not willing to look at paper work that proved what my copay was. I even called the office manager and did not get a response. It is very sad because we love the doctors and nurses but we are trying to find alternate source of after hours care.
AFC Urgent Care on Woodruff has the best staff I have ever seen! The wait time was long bc of covid and the manager handled it so extremely well. The doctors were so nice!
I very much appreciated the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Mike at the front desk was extremely helpful, the nurse was friendly, and the whole experience took less than 20 minutes and I was a walk-in. Would definitely recommend.
Best Urgent Care ever! The receptionist, Mike is an absolute delight! And Dr. Henshaw is amazing. Very knowledgeable, great humor and treats you like a human being instead of just trying to get you out the door!
Thank you for your help yesterday! Everyone was so sweet and patient with my son, and you gave this Mama some peace of mind.
The physician on duty Kasey refused me medical attention and advised me to go to the ER because it was close to 8 and they were closing. No concern for patient condition just wanted to go home. I could have passed out when he turned me away the receptionist was the only one concerned. He also was rude in trying to tell me I cant have a primary care physician because according to my chart my blood sugar was out of control when in fact I do have a doctor which Im seeing Friday. He also goes on to tell me he could check my glucose (so he charge me for an office visit) but he wasnt going to treat me because they would have to observe me for 30 mins and they were about to close. I dont know why he took the Hippocratic oath if he was willing to turn me away due to the fact it was 10 minutes until closing. And also corporate has not returned my calls.
Great experience. We’ve known AFC was here for a while but this was our first visit. The Andrews are in an Urgent Care somewhere almost every weekend and this was a great visit/experience.
The staff made me feel very welcome. The Nurse Practitioner Patel was very attentive to my needs and my concerns. I would totally recommend this practice to family and friends.
If I could give them less than one star, I would. The nurse practitioner, Shannon Sozzi was COMPLETELY unprofessional. My wife had an asthma attack earlier in the morning, but we declined to go to the ER because we cant afford that right now, the way our finances are. Thats why we were at an urgent care.Ms Sozzi, rather than discuss what medical treatment she could provide, lectured my still hard-of-breathing wife on how she should have gone to the ER instead. We mentioned we cant afford it (not like thats her business), and she continued to lay into my wife, telling her she could apply for assistance at the ER, that she could pay what she could, etc. For one, my wife has been to the ER before, applied for assistance before, and did not qualify. For two, THIS IS NOT THE PAS JOB. We went there for medical care, not a lecture on what she thinks we should have done hours earlier. That time has passed, lets focus on right now. When I griped that this isnt a conversation that needs to happen now, just treat my wife please, she got even more agitated, called a nurse in, barked some orders at her, and stormed off. We never saw her again. The orders included a pile of prescriptions, none of which were explained, Prednisone shots (another issue here in a minute), an albuterol treatment, and a referral to an allergist and her primary care doctor. The albuterol treatment DID help. Thats the only worthwhile point of this visit. The Prednisone shot? That means she cant see the allergist for a minimum of 7 days (actual appointment of the 25th), which the allergists office said the PA should have known - why order a treatment that conflicts with a referral??? The allergists office could have seen my wife TODAY, if not for Ms Sozzis malpractice. To cap it off, the nurse (whose name I didnt get) said that she contacted my wifes primary care provider, and they said they had appointments available for today. She ALSO said that they said theyd tried to call my wife three times and got no answer. I had to calm down my wife at that point, because she was so frustrated with the whole visit, and her doctors office had NOT tried to call her. This was verified by the same girl at the doctors office that the nurse spoke to. Why is your nurse lying?? My wife was shaking with frustration and crying by the time we left. This was an awful visit all around, and unnecessarily so. The PA showed a level of unprofessionalism that I have NEVER encountered in a medical facility, and while she was mostly more helpful than the PA, I am baffled by her lying at the end.We will never be returning to this facility, and will recommend the same to anyone who will listen. My wife deserves an apology from both of these women, which I doubt shell ever receive. Honestly, I think they shouldnt be employed there, but Im skeptical that would happen.
I really love Dr Kaysi! He is an awesome doctor. He always diagnose my children symptoms correctly. The staff is outstanding! I will definitely be back. I love this office! Natarsha, Chelsea, Natasha are awesome too!
I visited this office on Tuesday. I told the Drthat my throat was very sore and red. He looked in my throat and said yes thats what it looks like. No swabbing or anything. I think that b/c I was a Self-pay that perhaps they were not going to spend anymore time with me than they had to. Whatever I have has now settled into my chest. I WILL NOT go back there!! After $136 cash pay. I feel horrible and am out $136!!!
I highly recommend AFC on Woodruff Rd. On 3/4/18 I was treated by Dr. Sabrina Hinshaw who quickly diagnosed my problem and prescribed medicines that are doing the job of making me feel much better. From being greeted by the friendly receptionist, Breanna, to the medical assistant, Jen, and the x-ray technician, Dora, the whole experience was excellent!
Nice staff but no sense of urgency 😐 You’ll have an appointment set for 8:30 and still be waiting 2+ hours to be seen… what the hell is the purpose of making an appointment if you can’t even get it the time that you set it?? 😐😐
I have been going to Doctors Express for over a year. Everytime I visit the staff is very professional and I always get seen very quickly. With my busy schedule that is a plus. The several times I have been seen was with Dr. Morris. He has really helped me and is a very professional doctor. I would highly recommend using Doctors Express.Dan
Horribly managed, go somewhere else. Had an appointment that was rescheduled to first appointment the next morning. Appointment was for 8:15, didn’t get called back until 8:55 - meanwhile I heard at least 10 people being told that they were full for the day and to go on the website at midnight to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. Total disregard for people’s time, no explanation as to why the first appointment of the day was 40 minutes late. I will never come back to any AFC office.
I went in for a quick visit to have my knees looked at. I left feeling like I was 18yrs old again. It was a great experience from entering to exiting.Great Environment, The beautiful ladies there Tasha,Natarsha, &Gaye are very friendly and professional Dr. Kaysi is hilarious (Go Big Blue Nation) however, he shows a great deal of concern to fix the issue on hand .I would definitely recommend to others.
Came in at 10am , Monday 7/20/2020 had to do a drug screen, after 1 hour, I had to go extremely bad , they had a room full of drug screens, and only taking there appointments first, after 2 and half hours of waiting I finally got my drug screen done. I thought I was going to use the restroom on myself. Urgent care woodruff rd Greenville sc , needs to balance there appointments and drug screens, so theres not people about to pee on there selves, I dont recommend them.
