After two years of heartbreak and two miscarriages, I really wanted to find out the underlying causes for my recurrent pregnancy loss. I did not feel supported at my regular OB office, as they did not want to do any workup to help my husband and I identify the full picture of our fertility. It was after this that I decided to reach out to FCLV. I loved how they did extensive workup on myself and my husband to help us understand our infertility issues. Dr. Bedient was amazing, compassionate and very thorough in making sure we understood everything. She explained all our options in trying to successfully conceive. Together, we decided to keep trying naturally for a year and if we were not successful, we would then try other alternatives. During that year, Dr. Bedient suggested vitamins to take. At the end of the 11th month of trying, we conceived! Immediately after my positive pregnancy test, I called the office and I was seen the very next day for blood work to confirm my pregnancy and get a baseline of my hormone levels. When my progesterone levels came back low, Dr. Bedient prescribed supplementation. I had bloodwork of my hcg, estrogen & progesterone levels with every appointment and the coordinator was very prompt in emailing my results that same day, just a few hours later. After recurrent loss, my normal is expecting the worst. However, I felt reassured that my pregnancy was progressing well because they did a total of three ultrasounds - at 5,7 and 9 weeks. I loved that they were so attentive in the early stages of pregnancy, as regular OB offices don’t do a first ultrasound until 8-10 weeks. I truly felt taken care of and felt that they wanted us to have a successful pregnancy as much as we did. Every time I came into the office, the staff - varying from the coordinators, front desk, phlebotomist, medical assistants, ultrasound techs and Dr. Bedient were always amazing! Thank you for everything FCLV, we are truly grateful for your care!
The reason I’m posting a review is because I want others to know what I experienced not once but twice with Both new patient coordinators Ryanne & Katie!! Ryanne made me feel like I was bothering her with all my questions and what ultimately made me so upset was when she didn’t respond back to me after my miscarriage. I made the choice to take a break from testing because I wanted to advocate for myself which I did so after 8 months I decided to give them another shot. Then they placed me with Katie, that was probably by far the worst one yet there. She was very condescending, made me feel stupid when I was just following regarding our testing and I didn’t deserve that treatment AT ALL.Dr.Carrie Bedient was amazing she’s probably maybe the only reason why I would’ve stayed. She has great beside manners from the times I’ve met and or talked to her.I did however speak with Shelly the director which she was extremely helpful in trying to make things right but after going through this twice i feel like it’s best we try to find another clinic that will not only express empathy, compassion and respect towards these matter’s but will treat us like we deserve to be treated. We are already going through a lot and to treated this way WE DONT DESERVE THAT.I truly hope they find someone who truly loves their job and is empathetic towards their patients. This was my experience here and god not only showed me once he showed me a second time so shame on me!!
Similar to others, FCLV told us we were in-network with my insurance but after going through 5+ months of consulting & testing with them, we were extremely disheartened to find out they contract out their lab & surgery services, rendering the most expensive services out-of-network for ALL insurance companies. I have great fertility benefits so there was no way we were paying $16k for services that would be full covered elsewhere. We switched to Nevada Fertility Center and they are very thorough upfront with validating insurance coverage for all services at the very beginning of onboarding onto the clinic.
The service in this hospital is terrible. They prescribed me a lot of medicines that I dont need. The technology is also terrible. I sent more than 100 messages to the medical staff but they didnt reply to me. They are simply the worst hospital in the world!bad too bad they are too bad Horrible service !!!!
I did 1 embryo transfer here and I’m currently pregnant in my first trimester. Dr. Kaye and everyone at FCLV have been great to work with. I highly recommend this clinic.
Where do I begin when it comes to this clinic!!!! Dr Kaye really stole my heart and made this whole process comfortable for me and my husband. I graduated from the clinic today and it was sad saying bye to her and all the amazing women in this clinic starting with Corine, Betsy and miss wonderful Renae. Each person I listed is for an important time each visit. If you are going to this clinic because of male factor like if your husband had a reversal or a vasectomy Dr Kaye knows exactly what to do. She got my husbands sperm count where it needed to be & we are happy to announce we got pregnant after the first transfer. Dr Kaye you gave us a family of our own. Don’t consider any other fertility clinic. This is the ONLY one you’ll need. THANK YOUUUU!!!
This clinic honestly broke my heart at the beginning of my IVF journey. They use a surgery center to do all procedures, that is out of network with all insurance companies. The owner of this clinic owns that surgery center to purposely make money from people trying to use their insurance benefits. I switched to NFC which by the way has the highest stats out of any clinic in NV according to the CDC website that tracks stats, and they have been nothing short of amazing. They are honest about their cost up front, they do everything in house. I would highly recommend them over FCLV.
This fertility center truly broke my heart. I cried so hard I could hardly breathe. Here’s the story: the customer service is amazing, the doctors are amazing, and everyone is extremely kind. However, my husband and I have been trying to conceive and discovered that I had endometriosis, for which I received extensive treatment.Recently, I started a new job that covers IVF. We found this clinic and went through all the initial tests needed to start the process. I informed them that I wanted to conceive immediately and that I had limited funds, so I needed my insurance to cover as much as possible. I also mentioned that my husband and I are in the process of building a home. I explained this numerous times, and everyone said they completely understood. We paid for all the initial tests and consultations. During our final consultation with Dr. K, we discussed the plan to start IVF. However, when it came to finances, they sent us a large bill stating that our insurance company was not partnered with their clinic, and it would cost about $16,000 out-of-pocket. This truly broke my heart. We had been upfront from the beginning, stating that we needed to know the costs and whether our insurance would cover the procedures. We were told our insurance was covering, with just small co-pays, which we found acceptable. But hearing that our insurance was never a provider for their clinic only after we had gone through the entire process was devastating. While I believe the clinic and its staff are absolutely amazing, this lack of upfront communication left us feeling heartbroken and frustrated. We could have handled this differently if we had known the truth from the start.
As nice as the staff is when discussing issues with them the scheduling process and the abundance of documents with multiple different companies is so hard to track and manage.Red rock fertility was WAY smoother and easier to schedule simple things like analysis for blood and hormones. They made the process way easier. I would recommend going with them.
If you’re looking at these reviews, it’s probably because you’re in the horrid nightmare of infertility and want to start off on the right foot. I can’t promise it’s going to be easy, but I can tell you that the doctor you work with will make or break this experience for you. I started my fertility journey after my first miscarriage in 2021. I had a suspicion I would run into some struggle and wanted to best of the best. It seemed everyone I asked recommended The Fertility Center of Las Vegas. After initially working with one of their founding doctors and a second miscarriage, I was desperate for answers. The other doctor was quick to suggest the IVF route, although he admitted it might not be the answer for my unexplained miscarriages. I was deep in the rabbit hole of the internet and was desperate to try anything, but he didn’t seem to believe in any of these unconventional methods that I’ve seen so many success stories about (Lovenox/Heparin, antihistamine protocol, doxycycline for inflammation, etc). After my third miscarriage, Dr. Leah Kaye happened to be covering the other doctors day and was the one to break the news at my 13 week ultrasound appointment that we lost our third baby. This was during Covid and we’re all wearing our masks. My eyes filled to with tears and Dr. Kaye was so unbelievably supportive, hugged me and took time to explain that this was not my fault and that she believed it was only a matter of time. She told me to take as much time as I needed before “jumping back on the saddle”. This was one of the scariest and hardest days of my life, but she somehow made it better and gave me hope. I immediately transferred my care to her and she held my hand all the way to a healthy (successful) pregnancy. She was willing to try some other protocols that the first doctor wouldn’t give the time of day. I do believe all the doctors at this facility are knowledgeable and my first doctor probably has more experience in the IVF department. However, I knew in my heart that that was not my path and Dr. Kaye believed in me.I now have a 4 month old, perfect baby girl and I couldn’t be more appreciative for Dr. Kaye and all of her loving staff that helped me along the way. I would give a millions stars if I could. Thank Dr. Kaye and everyone at The Fertility Center of Las Vegas. You made my dreams come true. I’ve never felt so heard and close to a doctor before, but Dr. Kaye felt like home. I could be so irrational at times and she always gave me knowledge in a way that calmed my nerves. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
They were so welcoming kind warm compassionate and considerate as well as very knowledgeable of the functioning entity and the industry as a whole Thank You
I wanted to provide positive feedback. We ended up canceling our appointment and working directly with a cryopreservation lab, but I want to compliment the staff members I spoke to and who gave me the information I sought. My husband and I are atypical patients, as we are NOT trying to conceive. We were not judged at all for being childfree by choice. Medically pertinent information was still given without judgment of our procreative status. Thank you!
Honestly the best and friendliest staff and doctors I’ve ever experienced anywhere in my life.Especial shoutout to Ryanne for being the nicest staff member on the planet and being incredibly understanding, flexible, and patient with booking appointments despite us constantly traveling and dragging the process out way longer than usual.Dr Bedient is also incredibly caring and helpful and has been unfailingly kind during the entire process so far - can’t recommend more highly!
I had a great experience with FCLV and I am glad I chose this clinic. From the doctors to the staff everyone is very professional and friendly. I cant thank Dr Bedient enough. She has been there with us from the very beginning and guided us very well throughout the process. She didnt let us lose hope after our first failed transfer. Thanks to her and Dr Kay I had two successful pregnancies afterwards. I would recommend this clinic very highly to anyone for the amazing doctors and their expertise.
Id love to donate my eggs, Im extremely fertile. How do I get involved?
The 3 stars are for Dr. Kaye and her team alone. When we started our journey with Kaye and FCLV, I was amazed at the well oiled machine that seemed to be our initial testing process. I felt cared for, listened to, and the communication of Kaye’s team added a much needed level of comfort to this already extremely overwhelming situation. Unfortunately once Kaye was out for maternity and they began moving offices, things took quite a turn. We were about to have our third round of IUI completed in the same week they were moving. While we knew the move was happening, the timeline was never explained to us and it wasn’t until the week we were about to be inseminated that they said “sorry we can’t we’re moving”. We obviously were upset and did not want to miss a cycle we were preparing for so I reluctantly took a dose of a medicine that was supposed to delay my ovulation. Surprise, it didn’t work and when I reached out to let them know they also seemed surprised and had me come in for blood work which confirmed the ovulation. Long story short, after a week of terrible communication we wound up missing the cycle and deciding to take a break while also seeking a second opinions. The process of getting medical records was also less than ideal. I followed the online process as instructed and when I had to call to follow up multiple times, each time they sounded more and more irritated that I was seeking out medical records and they had to fill “multiple requests”. Anyone I dealt with during treatment or in the “front of the house” was lovely. Unfortunately, their back of the house customer service needs some serious help all around. We had high hopes for building a family with FCLV, but I think they’ve grown a bit too big to be able to deliver the same care they have previously.
We cant thank FCLV and Dr. Bedient enough for all their hard work to help us have our little miracle baby. We traveled from out of town to come here and the whole team was very helpful, communicative, and respectful of our time. They were prompt to send over referrals so I could do labs and monitoring in our area. The cycle coordinator was accessible and reassuring when I needed. Dr. Bedient provided a high level of individualized care that we had been seeking and is incredibly knowledgeable. She is truly an expert in her field. I would recommend Dr. Bedient and FCLV to anyone (near or far).
We cant thank the staff of the Fertility Center of Las Vegas enough for the help we received during our journey. Dr. Bedient was wonderful to work with and made sure we had all of our bases covered before trying again after our third miscarriage. We initially came to FCLV to obtain testing for recurrent pregnancy loss, as we were denied this from my main OBGYN due to the third pregnancy being chemical, and therefore, not a loss that counts toward having additional testing. Dr. Bedient ordered a battery of tests, which ultimately resulted in needing a hysteroscopy and D&C to remove a couple of small obstructions they found during my SONO. We got pregnant in February of this year, and Dr. Bedient was on top of it with our HCG, progesterone and estrogen draws. When we saw a good number, she immediately started me on lovenox for diagnosed blood-clotting issues. I fully believe that, all thanks to Dr. Bedient and staff and their proactive approach, we are where we are today with our two-week-old baby girl sleeping next to us on the couch. We also had great experiences with the coordinators, phlebotomists, sonographers and nurses. The front-office staff was also kind and courteous. Highly recommend this practice if you are a parent grappling with recurrent pregnancy loss and cant find the help you need at an OBGYNs office.
It brings me sadness as I write this review. It has taken me over a year to share my and my husbands journey. First, I would like to say that Cara, Renee, Betsy, and all the MAs in the office are truly amazing. They were so supportive throughout my entire journey. I am genuinely grateful for them. Unfortunately, I still feel like my care plan was not detailed to me, and I was overlooked. Lets Begin...My husband and I met with FCLV starting in Early 2021 with Dr. Shapiro. I came with some fertility testing already, as ordered by my OBGYN. I knew I was MTHFR positive for two copies of the C677T, which was the worst of the two. My husband and I had to go through 3 egg retrievals to get two genetically normal embryos. That all went great, but it all went south when it came to transfer. I asked my provider multiple times if I should be taking Aspirin 81mg because of the MTHFR lab result. I was repeatedly told not to; even my coordinator asked him, and I was told no again. I also asked for testing for the hemophiliac profile and was told no. In November 2021, we transferred our first embryo. We asked for the boy embryo, but they unfroze the girl instead and said, Sorry. A few weeks later, we were told we were pregnant. We were so excited. Everything was going well until the heartbeat ultrasound. We were told that they could see it but could not measure it. We were 9 weeks pregnant and said that our pregnancy had just dissolved itself and my uterus was empty. We were devastated. After the dust settled, we talked about transferring our second embryo. After I kept asking for a hysteroscopy and was told no again, he decided to do it. This is where we found out that I had severe inflammation in my uterus. I went on the treatment plan and then had a repeat hysteroscopy. This is when they saw two micro polyps. I had them removed, and not even a month later, I was told I had to transfer my embryo, or I would have to pay $5,000 since my year package was running out. I fought that with the finance people, who honestly had no heart. They didnt care that I had literally done everything the doctor recommended, even going through his surgery instead of going back to my ob-gyn, which was covered by insurance, to make sure I followed his plan. It was so sad. Now, fast forward two weeks, and I got a call from another doctor in the office to tell me my Beta HCG was negative. And that was that. I never heard from anyone else in the office after that, including Dr. Shapiro, whom I had been with for over a year.Fast forward to August 2023, when I went back to my OBGYN for follow-up after it all. She listened to me and ordered all the lab tests. I found out that I am positive for Factor V Leiden and ACE Gene Polymorphism. I was told that with just MTHFR alone, I should be on a baby aspirin daily, and with pregnancy, I should be on Lovenox. My husband and I are just sad that we could have had a baby girl with us today if I was listened to and heard. Unfortunately, I wasnt. So, advice: Get testing before going here so you cover all your bases!
Dr. Bedient was caring, kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I cannot say good enough things about her and her nurses and techs. They are truly great at their jobs. Dr. Bedient always gave her opinions on our treatment plan but never pressed anything on us. She will truly listen to you and answer your questions. You don’t interact with your doctor on every visit, which is understandable. But even then she was great at calling for important updates and never missed any details about our case. Her staff does an amazing job at making sure you are comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell they care about your success with them.Just like any other part of the medical field you truly have to advocate for yourself and be involved in your own care asking questions. There were a few times where I had to question if I could do tests/procedures outside of their office so my insurance would pay it, as my insurance would not cover some in office procedures/tests and we were paying out of pocket. If I hadn’t asked I wouldn’t have known I could go to my OB for some of the tests where they would be covered. But I don’t feel this is a negative reflection on the clinic. I just believe you have to advocate for yourself with anything insurance/billing related.
I am so beyond overdue on our review of The Fertility Center of Las Vegas. My husband and I knew this would be our journey, and our nervous selves, called the office, and were immediately welcomed with such gracious, warm, loving voices! Veronica at the front desk, is a wonderful, beautiful soul who was so sweet when greeting us every time, and managing the many other families who arrived for the same reasons! We had the best doctor that Las Vegas will offer, Dr. Bedient. The first time we met with her, we were immediately confident that she, and the entire facility, would make our families dreams come true; They did! Every blood work with the lab technicians were easy to sit through and thankfully had wonderful conversations through! The procedure departments and anesthesiologists are so calming and you trust them immediately! The ultrasound technicians always get as excited as you when you speak about your hopes and dreams through the process and overall, the atmosphere is one that relieves the stress you may have going in! We welcomed our first IVF daughter in May of this year, and are preparing for our second in the coming year and we could just go on and on and on about how thankful we are for absolutely everyone in that office! I highly recommend The Fertility Center of Las Vegas because they will answer all your questions, they are available by any phone with questions about shots (which we had), and work wonderfully with your schedule! You are in WONDERFUL hands!
I had a wonderful experience at FCOLV and I am happy I came here. Dr. Bedient and staff were professional and so detailed. They made me feel comfortable and were always available for questions. They monitored me weekly and updated me constantly, making this process seamless and putting me at ease. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr Bedient, they are truly amazing!
Terrible customer service. My OB recommended them for some testing... Never followed up after hassling me for $100 consultation fee. Dr was cold during zoom consultation told me I was on schedule then never heard from them again. I ended up getting treatment in another country.. the American healthcare system desperately needs an overhaul. Stay far away from this place. Do not recommend!
These ladies do an amazing job at communicating, working with my busy schedule, are competent, and have a great bedside manner. I just got home frommy retrieval and my nurse Jamie was so kind and thorough. My anesthesiologist Joan was great and I was comfortable. Dr. Bedient has a way of using humor to keep things light and ease anxiety. My only criticism is their check-in process of standing outside until checked in, but I assume it is necessary for patient safety during the pandemic. The office is very basic, but they are efficient and prompt, we never wait long. Over-all, I couldnt hope for a greater team!
From start to finish, our experience has been amazing. Dr. Bedient is always kind, caring and thorough. The nurses and reception staff are always pleasant! There are a few people I am especially fond of. We couldn’t have asked to be treated better. I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but they were good to us. Thanks guys!
I was looking into fertility preservation and when someone reached out to me, they told me they could work with me as I would be using my employee benefit, Carrot Fertility (they even said theyve heard of it). My initial consult, went amazingly well (shout to Dr. Kaye). After the consult, the testing coordinator went over the process with me and I asked her if they could provide everything I need to get reimbursed from Carrot but she said no. Unfortunately, as far as tests (diagnostic, bloodwork, etc.) go, they cant provide an order with the FCLV letterhead (including address and phone number) which makes it null and unavailable to send in for reimbursement. The testing coordinator said they havent worked with Carrot before, which makes sense because its a benefit for reimbursement but different from what the person I talked to initially said. Unfortunately, Carrot requires the FCLV name, address, and phone in everything so couldnt proceed with the process. Sucks but the customer service was good and the testing coordinator did confirm everything with me which helped out, I couldve ended up paying for things out of pocket rather than using my employee benefit, as intended.
I just finished all of my initial workup testing/studies and although it is overwhelming, the staff and Dr. Shapiro have made this experience better with their excellent service and amazing bedside manner. My husband and I are excited to go forward with the next process because we know it will be a big step towards getting pregnant if all goes well. Thank you FCLV for making this journey less stressful and for providing individualized care.
We now have a beautiful 5 month old baby boy and thanks to Dr. Shapiro and all the staff. The process with Dr. Shapiro and his team was extremely smooth from the beginning. All of them were very clear and thorough with information from the first day so we were never surprised with anything unexpected. It’s a long process but Dr. Shapiro and team made it very comfortable for us all along the way. We would highly recommend them should you decide on an invitro process. You won’t be disappointed with the service you receive. Good Luck!
So far, getting an appointment required many calls to get an appointment a month off. The receptionist has not been nice, she could not be bothered to swipe more than one credit card. She also showed disdain towards my sample. Well see if things get better.
My wife and I had previously worked with another clinic who was wonderful in every way, so when we came to The Fertility Center of Las Vegas, we had very high expectations. Our expectations were met and exceeded! The staff was great! Dr. Bedient was THE BEST, and answered every question we had as if it were of the most importance and always made sure we felt comfortable and confident in the process. This can be a stressful process, but, every step of the way, we felt like we had someone supporting us, answering questions, encouragement, etc.! Much of the staff is great too! We always received a warm welcome, even being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, no one treated us any different which was a huge relief.Would highly recommend Dr. Carrie Bedient and The Fertility Center of Las Vegas!!!
I’m so glad my OBGYN recommended us this fertility center. Everyone there is so sweet. From the receptionist to all the nurses and doctors. They listen to all your needs and make sure all your questions are answered and all your needs are met. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with their service & we are happily pregnant with our first child. We had been waiting for this miracle for two years. We couldn’t thank you enough!
I went to FCLV as a Gestational Carrier and just delivered a healthy baby boy into the arms of his parents. Dr Bedient was amazing. She is so sweet and clearly very skilled in her field. At my medical work up she took the time to really listen to me and my history. She was very easy to talk to. I live out of state so even with my out of town monitoring i received quick lab and test results. The nurses were great too. They always answered my questions quickly.
I have been infertile for 6 years Because i was to nervous to go to go to a specialist, these people are amazing dr. Kaye is the only doctor ever who has made sense of anything and she is also the first person let alone doctor to make me feel normal. My coordinator rose was equally amazing, i am an anxious person by nature and i was totally relaxed.for the first time in years i feel like i have the guidance and support i need .Fertility treatments can sometimes be very expensive and stressful! But after my visit today i can say honestly the facility is very nice and the staff are so sympathetic . If it comes down to 20k in treatments this is where i want to spend it !
We went to two different fertility clinics before The Fertility Center of Las Vegas. And I couldn’t get pregnant. Instead I got OHSS and miscarriage. And then, I researched a lot and found Dr. Shapiro! I really think that he is the best fertility doctor. And also, the nurses are very skilled, so I was always comfortable there. In fact, I got a pregnant!!! Now, we have a cute 5 months old son.We have 7 more embryos. So, we are planning to go back soon:)Thank you so much everyone at Fertility Center of Las Vegas!!!
My husband and I scheduled a virtual consultation with this clinic in October of 2021. The doctor showed up 45 minutes late to the appointment that we took time off work to go to.During the appointment the doctor said they were unwilling to accept tests we had recently done at another fertility clinic and that they had to do their own tests in their clinic. We explained this would cost us out of pocket because we are military and Tricare had already paid for them at the other clinic. They still wouldn’t accept the other tests.Today, April of 2022, we received a bill for $100 stating that we are over 120 days past due and threatening to send us to collections if we don’t pay it ASAP. This is the first bill they’ve ever sent us and there was no communication with us that we owed them money or anything until today.I am extremely disappointed with the experience with this clinic. It’s already hard enough to go through fertility issues and this has been an unnecessary added stressor. It’s disappointing how financially driven this clinic appears to be.
Incredibly professional, smart and really great people all around. I should clarify that I wasnt a patient of the Fertility Center of Las Vegas but had the opportunity to work with some of the administrative team over there. Some of the hardest working, smartest and nicest people Ive ever met. Which really is a reflection of the organizational culture as a whole. When you have administrative individuals that you can tell really love the place they work it always means its a great great organization. I would recommend getting to know these folks in any way you can. Even if you dont need the patient services please connect with them, be part of their journey, their community efforts and tell everyone you know about how great the Fertility Center of Las Vegas is.
We had a bad experience with the entire facility from our very first visit. Our first consultation seemed rushed by both the doctor and the new patient coordinator. Was told to do essentially every test available including two painful, expensive tests that check for the exact same thing. The physician performing the test at an outside facility even asked why we were having both these tests done when they are for the same thing. At one point the facility called us 1 hour before our appointment for a test and said they had to cancel. They then went on to say that the equipment had actually been down for a week yet they failed to let us know until an hour before. They couldnt keep track of our appointments that were at their own facility. One person would call us and confirm times and a couple hours later we would talk to someone else that asked why we didnt have anything scheduled. It would sometimes take more than a day for them to return our calls when it was in regards to time sensitive tests. The final nail in the coffin was finding out that they sent me to an outside laboratory that wasnt even in my insurance network. Didnt find this out until we received an explanation of benefits from my insurance saying they wouldnt pay for any of it and I owed $1500. They went through paperwork with us as if they checked my insurance but they really just looked at a piece of paper that says this insurance is supposed to go to this location and it was wrong.Overall they just cant be bothered to actually care about any of their patients and help them out with this stressful time. They have too many patients and they just wanted our money. We are going to a different facility that has already been 100 times better to us.
From the time I entered the doors, I was treated SO well! I flew in from the East Coast and they knew this, so I was seen quickly. Laurie was kind and informative, and Doctor Bedient was so thorough and patient and her bedside manner exceeded that of any MDs I had worked with involving surrogacy in the past. The blood draw was fast and I hardly felt anything - and they had juice/snacks to accommodate those that had to fast for their appointment. I’ll be sure to refer friends/family to them. :)
There is a reason why this place is the busiest of them all and that is a success rate. :) Before we went to Dr. Shapiros office, my wife and I visited all their competitors just to get that good feeling of comfort when walk trough the door. We didnt find it anywhere else and the doctors we talked to were emphasizing on the money only. With The Fertility Center of Las Vegas they even help you out if you are low income not only financially but with free meds too. Staff is very helpful as well. Some reviews state that they did not get the needed attention. Well let me tell you something. That office is busy busy busy! If you are looking for the Rock Star attention and pampering you will not gonna get it. Everybody is equally treated. They are doing the best they can and the bottom line is they care about the result and so should be anybody that walks trough their door. They get the job done. We had very pleasant experience with the Staff and everybody was very helpful. In conclusion I would like to say that The fertility Center of Las Vegas has been around for a long time. They have a lot of experience and have polished their methods to the max while using some innovations so they can achieve the highest success rate in Nevada. If you want to get pregnant The Fertility Center of Las Vegas is the pace to go!
Please do not use this clinic. My experience with this facility has been extremely disappointing. I called for a procedure and was given inaccurate information. This lead me to schedule a visit and at that time of my procedure I was not informed of any other fees. After about a month I got a bill for thousands over what I was told. When I called to ask them what the extra costs were they were not able to tell me why and told me they couldnt do anything about it. So I was stuck paying thousands over what I was told. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!
We went through Dr. Shapiro for IVF last year and couldnt have asked for a better experience! The staff was responsive and helpful with all of my concerns and were extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire process. I never felt forgotten or lumped together with other patients. Dr. Shapiro personally called us after hours to be sure we had the results of our blood tests and to make sure we were still on track. We started our journey with FCLV las February with our first meet and greet appointment, started the retrieval cycle in April of 2018, and transferred our first frozen embryo on August 1, 2018. We just had our first baby April 24, 2019 and we couldnt be happier. We are excited to move forward with our remaining embryos in the future with the same staff!
We have had such a great experience! Dr. Bedient has been very kind and made us feel extremely comfortable. She walked us through every step of the process. We went through the IVF process last year, and have a beautiful baby! Then we had one egg left, and decided to go for it. It took, and we look forward to meeting our next little bundle of joy next summer!
After a failed IVF cycle at a different practice and told we may not be able to have our own (genetic) babies, we came and saw Dr. Kaye. She was so thorough in going over what all of our options were, pushed the boundaries in my 2nd IVF protocol and was willing to take risks in trying some things that I had researched. I always felt like she was open to hearing me out and she always made me feel so comfortable to ask questions and come up with my off the wall suggestions. We are now expecting our little miracle thanks to Dr. Kaye! All of the doctors/ nurses/staff at FCLV are amazing and so supportive. I cannot say enough how incredible Dr. Kaye is, I dont think we would have ever had this outcome with anyone else.
I have to agree with other reviews mentioning horrible customer services. This place used to be great but I believe they changed their management during the pandemic and now they treat patients like garbage. Especially the new patients coordinator Jamie is extremely rude and unhelpful. Save yourself some headache and STAY AWAY from this place. They are many other fertility clinics in this town that have excellent customer service and bedside manners.
I went to this clinic a few years ago to have my eggs counted. Seeing reviews that are mostly still horrible shows me this place will never change. This clinic is a great example of how poor the American for profit medical system really is and don’t be fooled by the religious entities, it’s all the avoid taxes to help the greed stricken 1%. I feel better about my decision to move out of this country in the summer thank goodness. That being said, my experience felt almost violating. They might as well have not put any lube on the ultrasound prob. Then I was kicked out in the lobby and told my results in public because they were having a busy day, I guess HIPPA violations are budgeted for in this clinic because I was told I had a low egg count and that they couldn’t find another ovary so I apparently only had one ovary and the woman actually said “I don’t know what you should do about that, good luck having kids have a nice day.” Then the lobby door closed shut behind her going back into the back clinic.I thought I was infertile for the past 5 - 7 years until my current OBGYN told me I had 2 ovaries and was astonished about how I was treated. For those who are wanting children and need excellent care - research other facilities anywhere else in the country - fly if you have to.
My wife and I had our second IVF pregnancy here. It was an overall great experience from beginning to end. The staff was friendly and stayed on top of things. Dr Bedient is very knowledgable and understanding. She explained things well and was very professional. We switched our care from Green Valley Fertility Partners to here to be closer to our home. The embryo transfer from the Green Valley clinic to the Fertility Center of LV was held up by Green Valley fertility because they were unwilling to fill out a form that was required information about the embryos. They gave us a hard time as possible to try to stop us from leaving their practice; telling us why we shouldn’t leave their practice. Dr Bedients staff communicated with our old office and eventually they agreed to transfer the embryos. I am disappointed with Green Valley Fertility Partners that they would give us a hard time to transfer the frozen embryos at all as its the patients choice if that is what we want. I am grateful for the care from Fertility Center of LV.
This is long but worth reading if you want a big family :)Where do I even begin? When we were first told I will be needing fertility treatments I was devastated since I couldnt even imagine not going through this process naturally. After a month of research to determine success rates in the state of Nevada (and we went deep on the research) The conclusion was final with The Fertility Centers of Las Vegas. When my husband and I came for our first consultation the staff was so welcoming and pleasant! We met with Dr. Daneshmand and basically right then we felt more comforted. Dr. Daneshmand, beyond his professionalism, beyond his patience which we needed a lot of due to our language barrier, and beyond his complete honesty with our situation- he was just an angel.. TLC was all we needed after the journey we have gone through before. I just couldnt believe that with such a busy clinic he would have all the time I NEEDED - and he made sure HE DID.STAFF - We had such a long process and although this clinic has a huge number of patients - they are attentive to everyone, make every patient feel special as we should feel due to the circumstances we are there, and they greet you with a TRUE smile! There is no way I would have had this process done by anyone else - anywhere else. I am 3 months pregnant now for the first time, and I am praying for anyone who is researching right now :)
Im a new patient, but Im already feeling completely confident with the future of my care. Ive had a long history of endometriosis, surgery, medication change after medication change, and it becomes very frustrating as a patient. After one phone call with Dr. Bedient, I feel so at peace with my treatment plan. Its so relieving to speak with a doctor that understands your concerns and validates you. The entire staff gets 100% in my book. From start to finish, the process was easy and they were always available to answer my questions. Im looking forward to getting my treatment started. Thank you to everyone at FCLV.
Honestly maybe they should work on communication. I tried making an appointment in the time period they gave me but they seem to not care to email or call me back. Then if they do I get an email saying I havent tried to communicate when theyre the ones that seem to be dodging me - I get transferred to a machine. I have a tight schedule with full time school and work so on time and quick communication is key for my organization and cooperation. This is rude and disrespectful, if they need more help, hire more people or figure out a better system.
In the middle of treatment and prices keep changing And get expensive every time.I was supposed to do a mock cycle and then the plan changed but I was never informed. This clinic needs to be more attentive and honest with customers.I had to push back transfer date because of last minute changes with finance’s that came up. I am currently in the middles of cycle so unprofessional.Financial advisor states fees change every 90 days this is ridiculous!
Dr.Shapiro,I can never thank you enough for all you did for my husband and me-helping us having our first beautiful, healthy baby ! You are the most competent and professional doctors I have met ! The team at Fertility Center of Las Vegas were so supportive and very professional throughout my treatment cycles !
Dr.Shapiro is the worst. He tried to do two IVF on me.i paid $35000.,and he told me I should start second one. He told me to do that before transfer embryo. My visit on the transfer was very painful and they made me wait with full stomach because they took other patient who was schedule after me .they took her before me and I had to wait in pain with full stomach for one more hour.My appointment for full stomach was at 2pm and because they took her before me I got my procedure done after 3pm .i was shaking on bed after transfer sweating and crying from pain. This was the worst experience in my life and Im 36 years old. Next the doctor that i went to see now told me that when she checked my blood history before transfer she said that I was not ready for transfer that day.The transfer was done two weeks too early.now I know why Im not pregnant. Now I have to do another surgery with new doctor. Its so funny how Dr.Shapiro place tells you they have 65% pregnancy rate but actually is 25%.I didnt know how to check but my new doctor told me about their lies.Be careful. If they know you have money they gonna try to do multiple surgeries so they can make more money
Dr. Shapiro and the staff at the fertility center of Las Vegas are amazing. My wife and I are so thankful we were referred here by an acquaintance when we moved to the area last year. We have had a phenomenal experience here and would recommend anyone needing fertility services to make an appointment.
Dr Bedient and her team are the best! I started my fertility journey 4 years ago... we went in for preliminary testing to see what our options were and what my fertility looked like. After all the blood work I had been diagnosed with PCOS and a few other complications, her suggestion then was to try IUI then move on to IVF but ultimately IVF was the best for us. At the time I thought we weren’t in a hurry so we went the holistic route for two years and after no luck we decided it was time to try with Dr Bedient. She and her team were so helpful and explained everything to us after 4 try’s with IUI we decided it was time for IVF! I’m so glad I did and honestly wish I would have just done it from the beginning... we started meds in july and we were pregnant by October!!! I tell all my friends if your considering having a family and have had any challenges to just do IVF, you feel so much more confident and In control of the process and that is what I needed. This is an emotional journey, and the team at fertility center really have your back the whole way! Good luck to all you future mamas I went to multiple fertility clinics before picking my team and Dr Bedient was the best!
I have only had one consultation with the Fertility Center of Las Vegas but we had a great experience. Our consultation was very informative, we were given a great plan, we love our RE and are now very excited to start our journey to (hopefully) parenthood.
Dr.Daneshmand is an amazing doctor! We literally owe our family to him. After 3 rounds of IVF and 3 failed embryo transfers, my husband and I were ready to accept the fact that we would never have biological children. Dr. D convinced us to do one more round with a change in protocol and now we are almost in the second trimester with biological twin babes! This is something I never thought was an option. We hoped and prayed for just a single child, but Dr. D and his amazing staff have allowed us to have an even bigger family than we ever thought possible. Thank you to this facility and the amazing workers in it! We will have a beautiful family because of you. We will forever be a part of the FCLV family and our children will know how hard they worked with us to have them!
So grateful and happy that my husband and I followed my co-workers recommendation to go see Dr.Shapiro. After a failed insemination and discouraging experiences with other fertility specialists, my first appointment with Dr.Shapiro was like finding an oasis of hope in the middle of the desert. He was always so positive throughout the IVF process, making himself available almost 24/7 for me and my crazy questions. His expertise and knowledge in the field are unbeatable, but hes still so kind, human and patient. His staff members are no different...from the front desk girls, to the nurses, sonographers, everyone. They all had an encouraging smile to share even when I was grumpy due to the extra hormones. Dr.Shapiro understands that not everyone seeking IVF has millions to spare, so he will try to design a medication regimen that is both efficient but wont make you go bankrupt. I ended up spending 1/4 on meds than what another clinic had estimated I would need. Im now 12 weeks pregnant after a frozen transfer, and I have no words to thank The Fertility Center of Las Vegas enough for my miracle, and for a chance to start my family! Thank you, Dr.Shapiro!
The whole experience dealing with billing department is a complete nightmare. Its always voicemail when you call and no one ever call you back, even the supervisor. No one email you back either. Just receive letters after letters and threats to send to collection.I was one of the many who fell for the $100 discounted price and paid for it in full and waiting forever to get reimbursed by insurance. Now the insurance came out and they apparently billed insurance $287, and after insurance paid $183.97, I not only dont get any of my $100 back, I still owe them $3.03. Feels like fraud in marketing and insurance fraud. WONT RECOMMEND!!
I would give them 5 stars but they are always running behind. This is my second time here and each time I am seen 30 mins plus after my appointment. What is the point of making appointments if the office is not keeping them. The staff is friendly and nice but you all should work on time management.
Dr. Leah Kaye was thorough, professional, and personable. She was late but she did explain that it was because she was unexpectedly called away to tend to patience in person, but we were not waiting too long and she came back as soon as she could.
Dr. Shapiro and his team delivered superior care, rigorous scientific analysis and personalized care that ranks the Fertility Center of Las Vegas as a world-class facility. After disappointing experiences with some of the most expensive and prestigious fertility organizations in California, we tried the FCLV because it happened to be close to our home. Dr. Shapiros experience and training was apparent from our first consultation. Dr. Shapiro earned our respect. His laboratory and his scientists, nurses and care professionals delivered results and we look forward to a continued relationship with his organization. Our advice to others seeking fertility care: 1. Go to FCLV 2. Work with Dr. Shapiro and his colleagues 3. Develop a strong working relationship with the medical staff 4. Work with billing folks to manage costs. 5. Stay positive
Dr. Shapiro was simply amazing. If I could stay with him through my whole pregnancy, I would. When my husband and I were going through a huge range of emotions he was positive and excited for us.Just before my retrieval I got really sick and wasnt able to take my oral medication because I would just throw it up. He called me to reassure me that everything would be ok and at my ultrasound the next day he came in and just held my hand. When youre on a crazy hormone induced roller coaster that is IVF, you want someone like Dr Shapiro in your corner.
The doctors and the people so far Ive been great! I have to leave one star for their online payment system though. Its unbelievably difficult and asks for tons of redundant information Ive already entered in their portal. Very disappointed at how outdated it is.
Staff allegedly precertified with my insurance. I paid upfront. Imagine my suprise when I started getting bills from everywhere and now owe close to 1500 additional dollars. Staff was rude when called about this. Doctor Shapiro would not answer emails to explain actions of his staff.Be careful!! Seems like they are interested in running up charges and not helping people.
Deserves no stars! Horrible customer service just over the phone! I will be filing a formal complaint on Ms Smart mouth Hayes. I work in healthcare and thats no way to speak to potential patients! Will not waste my insurance my money or my time on this place whatsoever
Dr. Shapiro and Ms. Rose were so patient, knowledgeable, and walked us through everything. I would recommend their office to anyone ! I look forward to my followup visit.
After 4 miscarriages under the care of a different doctor - we made it to the FCLV, and it changed our lives. Thorough tests were completed to diagnose any issues or concerns, a plan of action was formulated, and 3 months later we were pregnant with our first child. A year and a half later, thanks to FCLV we are expecting our second child. Our life has never been better, and our family wouldnt have been possible without the expertise of Dr. Daneshmand and the care and concern of the staff. Luckily they work with hormonal women everyday, and all my worries were addressed and I was given regular updates by my fertility coordinator. All our questions were answered, and our greatest hope and joy has been realized!
I absolutely love how positive, friendly and informative the staff has been! Words can not explain how comfortable I feel while going through my fertility trip! Thanks for being such a phenomenal supportive team of experts/friends
Dr. Shapiro is a very positive and knowledgeable doctor. The Fertility Center is very much up to date to the most current infertility practices. Its helpful that they have 2 offices. One on Sahara, and one in Green Valley. I would recommend this clinic to any couple who are struggling to conceive.
The counselling (by Teri. F. Belmont) experience that was ordered by Dr. Bedient as a referral was an extremely abusive and violated experience for me. Extremely unfortunate that this center would leave me feel like the worst/ most terrified gynecological related experience With the amount of insult to a personal level and overall, the negative influence on a patient could be long term, for a woman
We had our first visit today and it went great. We were going to another center before this and already this one blows the other one out of the water. They have contacted us more already than the other place did in a year. Cant wait to see what the next year brings.
Dr Bedient is an amazing doctor who is very knowledgeable and caring. Her bedside manner is second to none and she makes you feel like a member of her family.
Dr Daneshman is awesome, hands-on and very skilled doctor. This is our first IVF and its successful. We have been trying to have a baby for 5 years now. We owe him and his team the happiness and success of having a family. We will forever thank you for helping us become parents.
LVFC it the absolute best!!! They really care about the patients. They made me feel like part of the family. They all will always hold a special place in my heart.
Was a little bit of a wait but overall, the doctors are very informative and know what they are talking about. They want to help you in anyway possible and they look at ways to help you save money. It would be 5 stars but the wait was a little long.
Dr. Daneshmand and his staff made my experience with IUI and IVF a smooth and easy process. They always went the extra mile and took the time to answer all my questions (even at 10pm at night, via text). Dr. Daneshmand is what really made the difference for me. He is warm and caring and he KNEW my chart. He responds to his emails personally and welcomes questions and communication. The blood draw staff were also very kind. You have SO many blood draw appointments during IVF that its important to have that friendly interaction while doing something that hurts. I am now pregnant though IVF with their facillity. Im so grateful for all of their hard work and dedication and I recommend them to my family and friends that are going through infertility.
Always a pleasure meeting with any of the doctors. The front and back office staff is alway kind and professional!! The phlebotomists are awesome and are very gentle
The experience has been amazing. I have had great communication with staff that make this process alot easier.....I will be coming back again to continue my journey.
Although they were nice, they were also very condescending. I did not need help getting pregnant just keeping the pregnancy without misscarriage. I felt they treated everyone the same regardless of there situation and there ultimate goal was for every patient to undergo either In Vitro Fertilization or Artificial Insemination. Although I am sure they work wonders for people who need that I do not. Dr. Shaprio knew of the blood disorder that I had but was not interested in treating that, he was only interested in running a bunch of unnecessary expensive tests!
Dr. Kaye is a sweet heart. And hilarious. And the rest of the staff is nice too! Hopefully I can get some answers now. Maybe not have so much pain. And more babies obviously!!!
If you want the family you always dreamed of I would highly recommend Dr. Shapiro and his team at FCLV. We will forever be grateful for our Vegas babies thank you!!!
Dr. Shapiro is extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable in practice. I appreciate how kind he is and reassuring through the whole process.
All I can say is that Dr. D is great and thanks to the Fertility Center of Las Vegas our dream of having a family came true. We have two GREAT kids, Andre and Barbara that we love sooooooo muchhhhhh.
I have been treated with so much respect and dignity. From the phone calls to the first time I walked in the door. TTC first baby 🍼 pray for me.
The Doctor was very welcoming nice clean office I felt very comfortable excited to start our family.
I went for my consultation today and I am SO excited to move forward with the process. Dr. Shapiro and Rose are amazing.
Everyone is very knowledgeable and explained the procedure in details. You can always reach them by email or if you call! I loved my experience!
Excellent consultation. Felt at ease. Everyone was very knowledgeable. Excited to start this journey with a great team behind us
So far my experience at this place has been really nice, the staff and Dr Shappiro, great... Even though its my first visit, I find everything awesome.
Everyone on the team was very helpful. They took their time to answer any questions we had and put us at ease.
They make you feel like family. They do the best job they can do. I was completely amazing impressed by the work that they did.
Dr. Shapiro and his staff are amazing. They answer all your questions right away. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro :)
Horrible takes your money and office is super rude dont trust your family with a place like this. The kind of money that this place wants is not worth it how can I promise to give you a child if theyre unprofessional and will take the time to call you go somewhere else trust me this place isnt worth it
They are so nice until they get your moneyAfterward you can see the real people behind the masks 🎭Terrible service and they send you to very expensive unnecessary testingsI wouldnt recommend this place to anyone
Very professional and helpful. Everybody took their time to answer any question we have and make us feel at ease.
We received a very very good attention since we arrived at the center, all are very kind, thank you very much for making me feel at home, thanks
Very bad front office and service, no professional, no compliance of their job, giving information very late or forgetting to call, or not exact information, dr D nothing to say as not welling to go back , my boyfriend and I we going to another center for egg donor. I dont suggest this center to ANYBODY!
The process was quite fast they made me feel real comfortable I would recommend it to anyone seeking answers
Very nice doctor and friendly and they also had a lot of information and answers for our questions.
Dont recommend. $100 for 20 mins is expensive for what youre getting out of the consult
BEST DOCTORS EVER. Love love Dr Bedient. Amazing staff.
Making dreams come true
Very friendly staff! Dr Shapiro was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with!

Share more about your experience . The Fertility center Of. Las Vegas
Only the dollars interest them, once the money is collected, when there is no result, you are told that it is your fault. Flee this clinic and their false promises. You are taken care of by a French person who will give you confidence by talking about his experience, be careful!
I strongly do not recommend coming to this place for in vitro fertilization, check more reviews! There is no formal grading of PGS reports, the laboratory technology is poor, and the package will be released in unexpected places. The Chinese window service is terrible, the number of video calls with doctors is very few, and the medical services provided are very few. I really only want to spend a lot of money here to conceive. Can cross fingers.
Good morning,I would like to say how truly exceptional FCLV is in every way. The kindness of the staff, the welcome, the professionalism and the total medical success. Romain is great and so is Doctor Bedient. I made my dream of a family come true with a beautiful little girl. Thank you to all the FCLV teams.
Our experience at FCLV was magical, full of attention and education. We couldnt have asked for better support. A big special thank you to Dr B. and Romain who were incredible with their professionalism, their availability and their kindness.
I can only salute the professionalism of the FCLV, in particular Romain and Dr. K whose support lived up to their commitment: flawless!
I had the IUI done at first, they dont pay attention to you, you have to keep calling them to attend to you once you pay them for the procedure, so they do everything quickly in less than a week, I felt like they never put anything inside me, it looked like water afterwards. When I went to the exam it took 3 days and I had to call and they told me that they were already there but that the doctor was going to check in in a few minutes. After 4 hours I called to say that it was negative that I should try again and pay for everything again, which is normal. that it doesnt come out the first time, I dont have any problem nor does my husband, its just that its not guaranteed. I felt scammed 😩
My first consultation with Dr Shapiro was satisfactory. The Dr makes you feel confident and hopeful that everything will turn out well 👍
Great team and Romain was adorable and super attentive throughout our journey! thank you to the whole team!
Thank you to Romain! He is awesome!Thank you Romain! To all French people, do not hesitate to call on the services of Romain.
Excellent service, they answered all my questions! I was very satisfied with the attention, I felt a little dizzy after my exam and they attended to me immediately, super happy with the attention, very kind and attentive
Good service, they are attentive, friendly, I am satisfied and thanks to them I am expecting my second baby 😌
The best place I have visited, they answer all your questions very clearly and all the staff are very patient and friendly.
I am expecting a nephew thanks to you Dr and your entire team
THERE THEY DO LIGATION REVERSAL
