Sadly, I have echo the sentiments expressed in many of the reviews here. Despite my surgeon, Dr. Gould, being absolutely exceptional (and the nurses/students I’ve encountered who work with her), the office staffs treatment of women at this CANCER center is disheartening. The profound lack of empathy is troubling. This is a place meant to support women battling cancer, yet the first staff you encounter show a shocking lack of compassion.Women seeking care here should be met with understanding and kindness, not additional fear and distress. I am relieved that today marks my final follow-up, as I have witnessed and endured enough of the staff’s inappropriate behavior, including laughing at and belittling patients. Women deserve to feel safe and respected in such a vulnerable setting, not subjected to further anxiety.5 stars for the surgeon herself. This is purely based on the front office staff especially the one who has already been called out by name in other reviews. Please do better.
The wait is almost always long but the last time I went, I saw Dr Spritos since my Dr had left. He is very kind. I am taking off a star for the wait but I am grateful that I was able to see him over the Dr I had before. She was smart and I was confident she knew what she was doing but her beside manner was not the best. So that plus the wait made it hard. Much better now.
Front desk was terrible, especially Patty. It’s shocking that a cancer center would hire someone as rude and impatient as her. They emphasized the fact that they only care about what insurance pays them. If you can avoid this place please do. There are bad reviews for good reason. They made my mom’s cancer a difficult process to go through.
This place is a nightmare to deal with they have a bunch of lazy staff. You call, they dont answer or will put you on hold .the doctor will have you sit but naked in the examination room for an hour before he comes in for a 3 minute examination. I had surgery, and they never call me once to tell me what blood work I need or what pre-op care I need to do .Im glad I made it out alive if your primary care or your obgyn refer you here dont even think about it.I know my review are Harrass but they are true and correct. I love writing reviews that could save someone else high blood pressure or maybe death, etc. Im not saying I feared I was going to die in the hands of this doctor, but I prayed from start to finish. And know Im on hold for over 30 minutes just to tell them Im bleeding heavy and Im on hold true story. And they will tell you to leave a message, and someone will get back to you in 24 hours will the last time or was 6 days. Lets see how this goes.
I had a terrible experience with Doctor Nicola Spritos, I went there for a uterus removal consultation, this man is arrogant, rude and does not treat his coworkers with respect. He would ask me something and wouldnt let me answer, he attacks you directly, his tone of voice is loud and attacking. I heard him say twice to the nurse to stop like this: Stop, Stop aggressively, I never want to step foot in that place again in my life, not to mention that the parking situation is a nightmare. In addition I don’t recommend this place to anyone, they are responsible for who they hire, this place is all about the money they don’t care for the patients.
The staff was very rude from establishing a first time visit, going in to clinic I was not greeted just told to sit down. I asked for paperwork I was told to wait I arrive 15 min before my appointment and I was there for almost 1 hr without being seen they finally called me and they could not see me since I refused to give them my entire as numberI have cancer and I was treated so badly in this office I will never return. Doctors should be aware of the way their staff treats patient’s
Front desk staff likes to yell at patients. They have no compassion for cancer patients or anybody. Doctors are more of interested in your insurance plan not in your well being. You are just a number. They approve you for surgery in no time but when you need them after surgery you wont be helped. Most likely you are going to end with unnecessary surgery.
Worse experience EVER!!!! Very unprofessional and rude front desk employees! My first appointment, I waited TWO HOURS for my scheduled appointment!!!! No compassion for the patient at all! The employee who handles the referrals for the Womens Cancer Center refused to submit my referral the correct way to Southwest Medical for almost two weeks and then still spent an extra two days going back and forth with Southwest Medical regarding my referral. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional! The Womens Cancer Center needs to get it together or CLOSE down!!! Oh and the unprofessionalismand yes there is a baby there at the front desk with the employees, and you can even hear the baby in the background when you call in! SMH!!!Update: 06/05/2024Well the level of customer service continues to be ridiculous!! I was finally able to have my ultrasound done at Southwest Medical. Unfortunately when I went back to Womens Cancer Center for the results, they could not locate the ultrasound. I ended up receiving a call from Southwest stating that there was a second ultrasound ordered from the Womens Cancer Center, and I should follow up with the doctor for more clarification. I contacted the Womans Cancer Center for follow up, and was told that they couldnt read the first ultrasound that was sent from Southwest and so I would need to complete the procedure again. I went in for the second ultrasound at 7:30 am and then received a call from the Womens Cancer Center at 12:00 pm stating that there was some confusion and they were able to read the first ultrasound so I didnt need to go back for the second procedure. I am currently waiting for the office manager to contact me regarding this error that was made by the Womens Cancer Center staff!
Front desk staff unprofessional and very rude. Dr. F was on call after my surgery when I called with symptoms that turned out to be a blood clot in lung, she was very cold and just rudely said if you’re worried, go to the er. Asked to speak with my doctor and Patty said it’s below her pay rate to get on the phone.
Courteous & warm greeting as soon as u walk in the office by the receptionist ... The doctor was pleasant & informative on how she could help me as a patient.. you really felt like a human being.. she was very concerned & open ears about what I was conveying to her.. The appointment didnt feel rushed!! I left feeling confident that I would get the right & proper health care
Dr. Hsieh explained in detail what the procedure was going to be like and what to expect during recovery. I have now recovered fully from my surgery in March 2024 and now on this day, June 26, 2024 I feel like I have my life back after going through 8 years of discomfort.
Do your research before coming here. Dr.Miles did my surgery almost a year ago and I have been in agony ever since. Her and her staff repeatedly dismissed me. A prime example of the statistically low quality health care in Nevada
Heres an update, my wife completed a 2nd surgery in March 2024, today is her last chemo treatment, her AC-125 is at 12 down from 8000+ last October 2023. We would like to thank Dr. Alexandra Spritos and the chemo department led by Marylin and staff. My wife is looking forward to more years ahead, many thanks to the entire staff. My wife underwent emergency surgery at UMC in Oct. 2023 her AC-125 test was 8000+ after surgery it dropped to 4000+, she has been undergoing chemo treatments for ovarian cancer and is responding positively, her last AC-125 test after the 3rd chemo is now at 35, one point away from the normal range, working with M.D. Alexandra Spirtos has definitely made a positive difference in my wifes future longevity and Im glad we were able to receive the care from this entire center.
Today I take chemo and one in the front desk batresha her name came to marlin and telling her to stop my chemo the insurance they don’t accept the chrome and marlin try to helping me came to me and she stopped the chemo and told me call your insurance I tray to call and marlin call the lady her name Margret here office to be sure the insurance doesn’t accept the chemo here name is Margret and told her no she approved then I told the lady insurance the problem is solved thank you then marlin she come to me and Active the chemoImagine marlin she didn’t call Margret and listen to batresha one of stuff in front office and the chemotherapy stopped?!?!I think this is not right to stop the chemotherapy because the insurance what you think doctors is this is right for cancer human patient!?!?!?
First visit was not too bad - we were seen just a short 60 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Second visit - things are getting worse. Sixty minutes past our scheduled appointment and we are taken to an exam room. Another 60 minutes before the doctor enters the exam room. Third and final visit - outrageous wait. Ninety minutes past our scheduled appointment time and we are still in the lobby. I approach the front desk to tell them we are leaving and I am told they are running “a little behind schedule.” We then discover that our doctor is no longer affiliated with this practice. I wonder when we were going to be informed of that change? As the founder of WCCN, I hope that Dr. Spirtos is deeply ashamed and embarrassed at the way patients are treated. Best of luck if you can’t find another comparable provider. We have and won’t be looking back. I might suggest posting the Hippocratic Oath so the patients can better understand the sort of care their providers have sworn to give.
This place the staff is rude, and instead of being professional Alexandra spirtos allowed her personal feelings to be involved. She repeats herself and doesnt listen to the patient. Ive been dealing with the discomfort for 5 months from tumors and ovarian cyst. My original OBGYN sent me here because theyre specialist and have the surgeons needed as my OBGYN did not. Both appointments Ive been to all she could say is I dont know whats causing the pelvic pain after Ive told her what the cause is. Then she snapped at my mother for no reason when my mother wasnt even speaking to her, she doesnt listen to all the information given she picks and chooses what she wants to hear.
I went to this office because I was referred by my OBGYN. The front office staff was extremely overwhelmed because their system was down. When I received my appointment reminder call, I was told to be there 30 minutes prior to my appointment. I waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes in the lobby before being called back to have my weight and BP taken. The MA asked me to go back in the waiting room for 20-30 minutes. I told them to cancel my appointment and I left. Every patient deserves a higher standard of care from their healthcare providers.
I have been under the care of both Drs, Dr Hsieh & Dr Kushnif. Both treating Drs I experienced exceptional care from consultation, surgery & post surgery follow care. Both Drs are highly skilled, huge empathy & I trust 100%The staff were also caring & my surgery was explained every detail.Any questions I felt like I had to ask, they were answered very quickly & with kindness.Extremely happy with my surgery I had & recommend to anyone this center & these 2 Drs.Thank you Women’s Cancer Center Of Nevada for your help!
DR Fruary is the best surgeon !!I had my hysterectomy today 9/20/23 ! Best GYN Surgeon ever !! Dr Gourd ( SP) is excellent as wellI ‘m not sure why there are negative reviews ?????!???I witnessed one female client being extremely rude to the staff The staff stay professional with her,1. Surgeons and staff members employees are not there to dump your toxic abusive issues you have with your life !!**** In my opinion: surgeons and staff were Extremely professional and polite . They explain everything in detail. No one had to wait long for their appt. You get a chance to asked any additional questions . The surgeon tells you about what to expect again to make sure you understand***** I’m glad the VA women’s clinic sent me to this clinic !!!*****
The single star is for the doctors and nurses. Id give 0 stars if I could to the office staff. They seemed very rude and unhelpful despite their JOB being to HELP patients who are literally fighting CANCER. Multiple families in the waiting room were complaining about the over 2 hour wait time just to be seen as well as the disorganized and rude office staff. While multiple patients were waiting for help at either window, the staff inside were talking to each other and obviously ignoring the windows so they could prolong their conversation. One member of the office staff was coughing, open-mouthed, without a mask on, IN A CANCER CLINIC! Incredibly unprofessional. This place has had horrible reviews of their office staff for so long, Im sure this review wont do anything to change that, but at least this can be used as a warning for future patients. The doctors are proficient and worth dealing with the staff, but barely. The staff just doesnt seem to really truly consider the patients whose time is more precious than ever.
Journeying with my aunt. I, too, was a previous patient. Inefficient paperwork and workflow. Front staff is short with patients and lack empathy. Chemo room dreary...bland and miserable! It would take so little to make it a pleasant environment. Perk it up some! These patients are going through life events that no one wants to be. Make it a little bit pleasant...and let them feel valued as people. Chemo room looks like a storage room!
First of all, let me start off by saying that the doctors at this medical practice are WONDERFUL. The issue with this office is the front desk staff and the wait times. The office staff are BEYOND RUDE. I am a patient here, and I have visited this office on three separate occasions, and every single one of my experiences here was spent watching and listening to the front desk staff speak incredibly rudely and condescending to mostly elderly patients, some of whom are cancer patients. This type of behavior is unacceptable. I felt extremely uncomfortable witnessing this type of behavior from front desk staff who should be kind, patient, and understanding/attentive to the vulnerable and extremely sick patients that are cared for at this practice. I actually consoled and assisted a confused elderly couple at the office, while I was waiting for my first appointment here and very nervous, who had been screamed at and dismissed by the staff because they were confused about a referral paper, which ended up being a simple fix after I called their referring physician’s office myself and explained what this office needed. Cancer patients are mainly seen at this office, and it is a disgrace to see them being treated so poorly and like trash. I am appalled at the lack of simple human kindness this staff lacks, yet they have time to make personal calls which the entire waiting room can hear by the way. Also, expect to spend 3-4 hours of your day waiting for your appointment. My scheduled appointment time today was at 1:15 and it is now 3:17pm and I still have not been seen. Ridiculous having to basically take off half a day of work just for an appointment that takes 20 minutes. WONDERFUL and KIND, AMAZING doctors. Please get an entire new staff, particularly staff with some basic customer service skills please! No one should have to put up with that sort of treatment.
I have a friend who is currently pregnant but has to terminate her pregnancy due to tumors growing in her uterus during the early stages of pregnancy. Shes in so much pain and going through a lot both mentally and physically, but for some reason this office and their staff refuse to see her for at least a month. What does it take to be a decent human being and help a person out? I guess medical ethics only apply to people they choose to treat. I will be posting this same review elsewhere too, because people have to know what kind of shady business this place really is. How this place has 4.7 stars out of 5 on Google is beyond me, because other places like Yelp share how my friend and I feel.
Dr Hsieh is great. I had surgery in April 2023. Dr Hsieh is an expert in complicated Gyn surgeries and put me at ease by explaining my procedure in detail, preparing me for how things will go on the day of surgery, and by showing so much compassion. He followed up with multiple post operative office visits to make sure my recovery went smoothly.
The AUDACITY of this place. patients who are going through an emotional fearful experience to then have to come to the inhumane office. Appointments are useless because you will wait hours to even be seen, this how they treat you before even getting seen what is your worth to them? I wouldnt trust them with my life nor my familys life unacceptable and if you have another option I suggest looking at them.
When I was referred here, I looked it up on google and was terrified and so nervous that this facility had such bad reviews. I almost asked my HMO to please refer me elsewhere. However, I decided to stay with my referral and I’m very happy I did.The staff was kind. Dr. Fleury was excellent. I never encountered a negative.I told myself once my experience was completely over with Women’s Cancer Center, I’d come on here to praise them. For me, I had good care and I’m very grateful.
I had a surgical procedure done by Dr Browder, she was great!!! The entire experience at that office was supreme. They made a painful experience a lot easier. And a special thanks to Armaine, who went above and beyond her duties to help me.
Worst Doctor I have ever encountered. Rude, and unprofessional. She was unbelievably unkind in her remarks. She said and did something that was so inappropriate that I could not even repeat it here.
Now that I know the only Dr I love and trust (Dr Browder) is gone , I wont be going back unless she returns there . Shes an amazing surgeon and I wouldnt trust my body with anyone else . Its a shame . They lost an amazing Dr and Im sure most of her patients will leave there as well. The office is run HORRIBLY and now that Browder is gone , ummm good luck with that !
I was referred to WCCN by my gynecologist. Turned out I had stage 1 endometrial(uterine)cancer and had surgery (total hysterectomy) to remove any traces of the cancer. While I’m cancer free I would still need to be monitored to make sure it doesn’t return. I’m internally grateful for the staff and for Dr. Fluery.
One of he worst places I have ever been too or had to take my mother. They do not have chairs for any one plus size at all (They make you stand or go into the hallway). Their scheduling staff got mad when my mother didnt understand the material. They do not care if their patients have anxiety problems when it comes to doctors and wont let anyone back. They charged us extra because we requested copies of the documents that were signed and intentionally charged extra by not double siding anything. I will never leave her alone with another one of their medical professionals ever again. Advice if you are referred there run they are not worth getting in as quickly as they do. They are very unprofessional and dont care about the patients that attend to receive their services at all. They shouldnt be allowed to treat patients if this is how unprofessional, disrespectful, ruthless, or unkind to their patients. I cannot put into words how angry I am at the care my mother had to receive and go through alone. we waited over an hour to get into an appointment that was at noon and spent three hours there.
Las Vegas Local! I want to start off with the positives. My doctor was Dr. Browder. During my first doctor visit she was great. She analyzed my problem and told me the steps I could take. I was very optimistic that this would be a good experience despite the reviews. Everything went smooth on the days of my surgery, the work that she did also looked good. The problem came in when I got my three prescriptions. 2 of the three prescriptions needed prior authorization. I called the day of my surgery and got an answering service. The next day the surgery center called me and I advised them that I could not get two of the prescriptions they advised they would reach out to doctor and for me to try and call. I called the next day and was transferred to a voice mail. I called the Monday after the two day weekend. Let me remind you the two prescriptions that needed prior authorization were pain medications. I went on after a surgery with no pain medications. That Monday I spoke to someone in the office. I was told they would change one of the prescriptions so it did not need prior authorization. Then I was transferred to the same voice mail to ask for prior authorization request for the other pain med. They never sent or put in for the other two medications. I had my surgery on 6/10/2021 and my follow up appointment on 6/25/2021 at 11:30. The office called me and moved my appointment to 1:30. When I got to my appointment I waited 2.5 hours to see my doctor. Apparently, she was still at the surgery center. When I finally saw the doctor I had told her how upset and stressed out I was trying to get medication after a surgery in which I was in pain. She had advised that the assistant did the change on one of the prescriptions. I advised her it never made it to my pharmacy. I advised her I never got the prior authorization on the other prescription. She had told me the surgery center was suppose to give me an ointment to help with itching. In which they did not. She told me I could have paid for the prescriptions out of pocket. Sure I was quoted $200 and $ 70. I am a teacher and am not rich. She gave me a box of topical pain med and itching med in the office. My questions is why couldnt this have been done to began with instead I suffered. She checked my recovery and said it recovered great. Probably, because I did not take any pain meds so had no constipation. Let me just remind you I had an open wound inside and outside my body. I would not recommend this doctor or staff. They should know the insurances and practices by now. If you value communication and follow through pass on this one. Just an FYI I had another surgery two weeks later in which every procedure was followed correctly and I got the medications I needed.
I have never been treated so poorly by any other healthcare setting!! Immediately following a weeklong stay in the hospital, I developed hyperemesis, and severe diarrhea making it necessary for me to go to the ER for dehydration. During this 5 days of feeling so helpless and ill, I left 14 urgent messages and never received a return call!! I have worked in healthcare my entire adult life, working my way from front window checkin to hospital administrator. I would NEVER allow the rudeness, unprofessionalism, and the use of the power of one’s position to cause the mental and financial hardship I have endured from this staff, specifically Patty! She held us hostage with the fees, overcharging, giving a 15 minute window we were “allowed” to pick up my FMLA paperwork, and when my husband arrived, pulled it out of a folder & did it right in front of him! I couldn’t go, too upset from the way I was treated by Patty the first day, the day after my ER visit, the day I was given my diagnosis!! When my husband brought that paperwork home, it was messy, had the wrong diagnosis code, and inaccurately stated that I needed no more treatment! Now, I have been denied my short-term disability, going unpaid for my post operative period, because no one responded to the 5 requests in May, from the company that handles this benefit! I am currently trying to get that rectified, but my husband (I still can’t face her)was told today, by Patty that we would need to wait 5-7 more days for the paperwork to be completed. This is the beginning of my battle with cancer and I feel exhausted already!! I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone! When you have cancer, you need positivity, not this!! I am so thankful that I will no longer have to go back-going to CCCN!
Waited for 3 hours and 42 minutes after the appointment time. Office staff has absolutely no customer service skills and never even bothered to offer any type of explanation for the delay. If the appointments take 1-3 hours so be it... That is patient care but do not schedule patients on the hour and expect them to wait for upward of 2-3 hours. And there is no patient advocate number or contact information posted. Will happily hitch-hike back to Ohio or Minnesota to receive care before I come here again .Wish I could take away stars but you have to rate at least a 1 before you can comment.
Dr Hsieh has performed 2 pelvic reconstructions for me. He did a terrific job as a surgeon . I could have used a bit more post operation info. from nurses at hospital.
Patty in the front office is a complete joke. She does not know how to do her job and shows she doesnt care.My experience:Received a referral to see Dr HsiehOffice called to schedule an appointment, went over insurance information. Appointment scheduled right away. So far so good.Drive 2 hours to get to the office. Arrive on time.Wait an hour to be checked in. Fill out paperwork just to be told my insurance isnt accepted.Patty claims I lied when giving my insurance information to them. Because that makes sense.Complete waste of time, gas, effort and energy. This office does not care about patients at all. They will not respect you or your time.
Dr Kushnir was very kind and professional before surgery but after my surgery I had difficulty getting a follow-up appointment. In the meantime, I had to find another clinic to get some medication to ease my debilitating symptoms. When I did finally get to see the doctor for my follow-up (a month later) the doctor was rude and abrupt. I was hoping to get some understanding and help in understanding my options but she did not want to give me the time of day. Did not even check incisions - nothing. Follow-up lasted less than 1 minute and she was out the room. I was upset and dumbfounded by her rudeness.
My mother is a patient of Dr Gould, mom thinks she is the best. What Im upset about is that we were scheduled for an appointment today, after fighting traffic and parking. Get my sick mom to the office they inform us her referral is expired. Why didnt they let me know sooner
Dr. Kushnir was great with my mother. She is thorough, informative, and did a great job with my moms surgery. This review is strictly for the front desk staff. They are uncaring rude liars.I set my mom up for her follow-up after surgery and confirmed once before her appointment to make sure the appointment date and time I had was correct. Once she got to the office for her appointment, she signed in and sat down in the waiting room. An hour and a half passed and she still hadnt been called and she was the last person in the waiting room. She went up to the desk and asked when she would be called. The front desk staff member told her that they had called her twice and that she mustve been in the bathroom when they called her but now the doctor is gone for the day. My mom told them she hadnt gone to the bathroom the whole time. Then they told her that her appointment was in the morning at a completely different time which was another lie. They didnt apologize or try to reschedule her, my mom had to be the one to request another appointment.I came to her rescheduled appointment today and let Amanda at the front desk know about what happened and that I dont appreciate them lying to my mom and trying to gaslight her. She couldnt care less and barely acknowledged what I was telling her. SmhI manage a doctors office and would never treat any of our patients that way. I dont understand why people like this work in healthcare if they dont actually care about people. There is no professionalism or compassion whatsoever.
I have an issue with Doctors that can’t keep a scheduled appointment. I have been waiting for months for my appointment that just got cancelled because the Dr decided to take the week off. This is a surgical follow up and I have issues that needed to be addressed. I do not recommend this office. I am looking for another Doctor at this point.
This is just bad. First appointment I waited almost 2 and a half hours before I was seen. I thought maybe it was a fluke. 2nd appointment waited an hour and a half before walking out because we all deserve moreRespect for our time and better care than they are equipped to provide. Very unfortunate.
Ive been a patient of Dr Natalie Gould for 10 years. I am thankful that I was referred to her by my primary care physician. Before surgery I cant even stand straight and walk due to pain and CA. Im an OVCA 3c survivor for 10 years. CA journey is very hard but if you have a doctor like her its a blessing. Surgery, chemotherapy and depression is what CA patient go through not to mention family worries. She helped me connect to a fellow survivor that guides me. Grateful to have her as my oncologist.
Such terrible service. From the front desk to the doctor. I work in healthcare so I was shocked when I met with the doctor and she almost laughed at my concerns, which by the way had been enough concern that I was referred by my OB/GYN. First, I had made an appointment to see a female doctor. A male student walked in with no warning or explanation. When I said I preferred a female (which I had made an appointment with) he and the female doctor were not kind about it. The female MD went on to tell me all the horrible things that can happen if I have the procedure I was asking about. The way she was telling me was so inappropriate. It wasn’t about giving me information and letting me choose what was best for me, considering what I’d been through, she was basically telling me to not have it with a VERY condescending tone. I would never go back there.
I have been a patient of Dr. Leslie Browder for over a year, and words cannot express my gratitude for her. She is a highly skilled and caring surgeon who continues to help me through a difficult issue. She has an excellent staff who goes the extra mile to accommodate me. I am very grateful to have her as my doctor.
I have not been impressed with Dr. Hsieh & his staff since going there. First the staff is clearly overworked & it seems like they dont want to hire somebody even to do scheduling there because every time you call in, they put you on hold, when youre in the office & talk to the front desk girl, she takes 2-3 calls before helping you check in, etc.. Then, every single time you have an appointment, dont plan on getting out of there under 2 hours. Youll spend 1.5 hours of that time in the waiting room & the rest waiting in an office for a 5 minute appointment. They have absolutely no regard for value of patients time. Dr. Hsieh himself isnt great at giving information on what options you have for treatment or explaining them. He does not have a great bedside manner & I would be ok with that if I got ample information from him but that doesnt seem to happen. In fact, one time he referred to the insurance lady as the bimbo at the insurance company & that is quite a way to think about women when he works at a womens cancer center. Then one time I had a device removed & got lightheaded & blacked out, I sat down & he left the room & never sent anybody to come back & check on me.Also, their office didnt have employees required to wear masks until the it was required by state, also not a great thing during a pandemic when working with patients who have cancer. I was a patient here for 6 months & will not be going back.
TERRIBLE customer service! Very rude office staff! Phones go unanswered! This is a cancer center? ! Patty is horribly rude. I’ve read this office’s other reviews. I don’t know why you keep a staff member that is causing so many people to be treated badly. My doctor was great, but the rest of the experience was a nightmare. Trying to coordinate my surgery and my medication‘s was nothing but confusion and unreturned calls. I work in healthcare. The girls answering your phone might be overwhelmed but I am sure that they’re not nearly as overwhelmed as cancer patients. No excuse!
My appointment was at 3:00 pm with a 2:30 pm arrival. They stressed I had to be there at 2:30 pm. I was, and finally walked out of the office at 4:55 pm, never having seen the doctor, or even been taken back to a room. At 4:30 pm, I was told there were still 3 people ahead of me. I asked to reschedule and was told the normal wait time was 2-3 hours past your appointment. I understand emergencies can cause delays, however, normal wait times should not be 2-3 hours. If normal wait times are 2-3 hours, why was it necessary for me to arrive 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment? I would expect the staff to inform patients of the lengthy wait time and give them the option of rescheduling before they have wasted 3 hours in a waiting room. Staff was unapologetic. After speaking to other patients in the waiting room, they confirmed it was not unusual to wait 3 hours past your appointment. This is unacceptable. I never did see a doctor and instead chose to ask my GYN doctor for a referral to another oncologist.
Very rude doctors office even before they moved to their new location recently. They do not call patients to remind them of their appointments. Very rude answering service 🙄 as well. My daughter has only seen Dr. Natalie Gould once at the Womens Cancer Clinic and has not been able to be seen regarding treatment for hysterectomy that was already suppose to be scheduled endometrial atypical hyperplasia. Las Vegas, NV is the worst place for healthcare. ABSOLUTE WORST FOR HEALTHCARE!!!! It is the office staff that is very, very rude acts like you should not even be calling about your appointment never were polite to my daughter. The office staff have an attitude. My daughter probably needs another referral but she has tried following up so it is wrong if she has to have another referral to see the doctor. My daughters heart doctor suggested my daughter waits on the surgery so there are not complications like with my daughters 2nd cervical spinal surgery in 2019.
On Wed. I was given the ultimatum to pay 250.00 or no chemo. No print out of the charges, I was so embarrassed because she yelled it for everyone to hear. That was Patty, then when I was called to back Kim asked what happened and i said the f word but I didnt direct to her I said they dont give a f. And she screamed in my face and said Im just getting you back to the chemo room. Who jumps in the ring with a patient whos fighting for their life. I have sent 2 emails and called and still no response. If they would have pulled up my out of pocket cost they would see it was no longer 1500.00 it dropped to 998.95. If you dont want the added stress find a new doctor. Its sad that the doctors dont care enough for their patients to put a stop to how we are treated.Update...9/7/2020If you have been treated like a doormat from this office change doctors immediately. I was able to find a much better and caring doctor. Not only the doctor but the entire staff. Come to find out I should have been paying 20% and the insurance pays 80%. So now my payments are $46.00. This office is the worst medical office I have ever been to. Rude and unsympathetic. I just pray for them, because anyone who can treat others the way they treated me needs to do some soul searching. The good employees are few and end up leaving. The front office staff are considered Mean Girls! Beware of this office.11-10-20Another update. Since my last updated review I found out some great news. I do have other treatments available. I cant stress enough that this office cares nothing about their patients. The place I go to now has 4-5 nurses and my chemo is mixed or prepared in a locked room and is video recorded. The level of professionalism at my new doctors office is amazing. They treat you like a cancer patient should be treated. If you have the ability to change doctors do it as fast as you can. I also suggest writing reviews of your experiences with this office. Its the only way to let others know what a horrible clinic Womens Cancer Center is.
My first interaction with Kushnir was December 2019, Valley Hospital where I had surgery. Had a ovarian and fallopian tube removed where it looked like I was 7 months pregnant. The wait is an hour or 2, wish their was more communication between doctor and patient. Gals at the front desk are no issues and they do bring residents who are learning to observe with Kushnir.
I had a total hysterectomy, the office always seems to be busy. Sometimes I waited for an hour, but I think that comes with the volume of patients they have. Overall they did a good job, You could tell they are passionate about what they do. Sometimes they seem to not be personal but I think that comes with them dealing with people who have cancer. I would recommend them, I feel as of they did a good job. I had a good experience! :-)
The rating is for the front desk staffs. I have noticed that they are consistent in how they are dealing with people including me. They talk rude and without compassion at all.
My mom had an appointment here today, and they said they needed a referral. Her doctor sent over a referral twice, but they said they still never received it. This place sucks. Took me over an hour to find a parking spot. Also, they cancelled her appointment because of their incompetence.
I am very disappointed in speaking to Patricia, an insulting and inconsiderate person. You call the womens cancer center, and she has no respect. You are talking to ghetto fabulous Patricia, a very rude supposedly supervisor with no sympathy. I called today to see if I received a referral, and her response was in a loud tone we will contact you; we did not receive your referral she started smacking her lips coarse to a person working for a cancer center...
I was recently diagnosed with interstitial cystitis.. I started to go to Urology specialists of nevada and had a horrible experience. I then got referred to Doctor Wasserman. The last couple times ive gone are so different than urology specialists.. They actually care and get things done and ordered. I needed a mri of my pelvis done and immediately Kim got it faxed over 2 hours after I left. Its so important to have a doctor/office actually care about our health concerns. Very friendly/super clean office.. Highly recommended.. Il will post again after my MRI and procedure is complete...
Had a appointment 2 weeks ago today. Doctor told me I MUST use my meds to get better. Still no meds because these people that work in the office are non caring individuals. Have given me the run around for 2 weeks. I’m beyond fed up and will never go or suggest this place. Ever.
I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive sarcoma in Nov 2019. Dr. Gould is calm, realistic, and a straight shooter. She is very experienced, and her knowledge about womens bodies may nearly be immeasurable. With her help among a strong team, I have been well since radiation therapy last spring. Moreover, the staff at the desk and behind the scenes have always been respectful. I feel quite fortunate to have Dr. Gould as my doctor. This place has helped save my life.
Very unprofessional staff. They set an appointment with me at 11am 2 weeks prior. When I showed up they said I didn’t have an appointment yet all my info was in there system as a first time patient. They set me with a different doctor and I told them I specifically wanted the doctor I chose. When I got back to see the doctor at 12:45 she apparently didn’t like that I complained about the appointment mix up and was very short with me ... definitely not a good establishment.
One of the classic medical industry situations. Doctors were great, Patricia/Patty was awful as their front office coordinator. Heard her argue with various patients while waiting over an hour for our appointment. Uncompassionate and rude to everyone who walked through the door. Lobby unkempt and dirty.
Dr Kushnir is ok, but that office staff is very unprofessional, liars, and they violate HIPPA. I went to pick up my short term disability forms and along with mine they gave me another patients forms. I reached out that patient and let her know what they did and I took her forms back to the office and let them know and the girl at the front didn’t even care. I called them to see if my medical records were available she said no but I never gave her my name or anything smh. I will be dead waiting on them. Do your research ladies.
Had to drive over half an hour just to get there, they told me with an attitude to be there half an hour early. I was there, filled out the paperwork early and signed in. An hour later there were about 7 or 8 people I was there before got in before me. Then when I asked for my ID back to leave they said I was next coincidentally. Then 15 more minutes pass and Im brought in, the room was a need they didnt even clean it. After another 20 minutes I gave up and left. Nothing but attitude and a waste if time.
Cancer patient being treated by Dr. Kushnir. The staff is great and very nice and helpful. Yes, I have had to wait for few hours for 2 out of 20+ visits, but everyone needs to remember that most of these patients are cancer patients receiving news that is changing their lives, and possible being told that there is no other method of helping their illness. The Drs and staff are definitely not into giving fast food health care! I remember what it was like when I was first told of my diagnosis. Dr. Spirtos was my original Dr. Funny, spunky, upbeat, very knowledgeable. Dr. Kushnir has since taken over for him, and she is awesome. Always has great information. Truthful, and honest in her answers. Keeps me accountable in my health. The front office is always busy making sure the office is ran in tip top shape, and the waiting room is clean and well stocked with water and coffee (THANK YOU!). Great people that I have dealt with!
I felt like I was in the twilight zone. The office staff is snobby. Dr. Wasserman was nice but he seemed to be loopy.
Wifes appointment was at 9:30 as I type this its 10:42 still havent seen a doctor. When I complained I was told to reschedule. Why should I? I was able to show up on time why cant the doctor. She was also late by almost 2 hours for my wifes surgery if your doctor refers you here ask to go elsewhere youll thank me later.
Dr gave me an extensive uncomfortable vaginal exam with another male asst in the room. He also ordered MRI or something similar. Because I have had brain surgery and am 80 years old I forgot to show up twice. I asked for reminder calls however the girl coldly responded we dont do that! Now I wonder why I was sent by my Doc to a cancer center?? I do not have cancer.
This is the WORST choice you could EVER find yourself misfortunate enough to endure.PATRICIA IN THE OFFICE IS THE EPITOME OF INEPTITUDE!Visit after visit; problem after problem. They discriminate against Puerto Rican/ Mixed race. I was told I could not accompany my wife upon her visit due to covid regulations; fine. I can understand that. However, when 20 min pass by, and A WHITE WOMAN ACCOMPANIED BY HER NEIGHBOR WHOM PROVIDED A RIDE WAS PERMITTEDTO ENTER THE BACK.There are not enough character’s in all of the google server’s capacity to carry one single iota of my consternation.YOU PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK
Dr.Ricard Wasserman front desk is very unprofessional and very rude, they dont treat patients with respect and give you a very hard time with anything you need. If i could give them zero stars i would. If i or my family ever need anything done I wouldn’t recommend this place. bad attitude and no compassion for patients, so if you need anything here SAVE YOURSELF AND LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
Communication is horrendous at this place. I have been trying to get information regarding order for blood work for my wife. I constantly get messages of cannot answer phone right now, leave a message. Done this for three days now, no one calls back. Incompetent staff also encountered here.
The front desk ladies are so nice. I had a really great experience with Taylor. They were all so helpful and gave me all the information I needed. I recommend for any family members and friends!
The office keeps billing me for the amount that my insurance has paid. I emailed their clerks with the proof my insurance paying twice and calling their office many times without able to talked to anyone. I left messages to both Malony and Kim but they never response.
Spoke with Amanda so unprofessional! She was just asking Patty and they were both very rude! I work as a care manager and I think that they should not work in the field if they don’t know how to treat the patients!
I wish theres a no star rate cuz they dont really deserve even 1 star from front stuff ,attitude and super long wait to see your doctor is 👎👎👎 never again ...
Well the staff is very friendly and works to get the people through the process in a timely manner, although I feel it would be nice if you could fill out the first visit paperwork online as it can take 1/2 hours to complete.
Doctor Geoffrey Hsieh is the best MD FPMRS in Las Vegas , he is kind professional, he did a great complicate surgery on me, it was successful and he save my life .
I was very pleased with Dr. Gould. She was very detailed and funny. Everything went smooth with my visits and I would recomend her. I wasnt pleased to be charged for a follow up visit. I always feel that should be inclueded.
I actually enjoyed my first visit to this Drs office. The staff was friendly and efficient, all covid- 19 protocols followed for everyones safety. All were helpful and professional.
Needed to have a pessary installed. They make you order your own parts with no information. Really? I am an 84 year old woman with limited computer skills. Go on line and see how many of these are actually available for purchase.
The front office staff is terrible for a medical office dedicated to helping people who are suffering from cancer. No compassion, no manners, no professionalism.
They never called me back to schedule an appointment, and now no one is answering the phone, there is no voicemail or messaging service, and the email bounced back as undeliverable.
Love this place. They know how to interact with patients and communicate with patients and families. Their staff really try to form a bond with people while they are going through this period in life.
Dr Flery is an angel sent from heavenShe did a lot of work On me saved me from the Big C..... My family and I love you for who you are and your O.R staff🌻🌼🌸🌺🥀🌹🌷🌾 thanks for a second chance in life
2.5 hour wait. No privacy in room, no female chaperone in room with male doctors. I had a prior Ctscan done and it wasn’t even looked at.
Total joke of a place. Office staff is rude, completely unhelpful and unprofessional. All they want is money. There were a lot of unhappy people in this office all of which were due to the office staff. Never even made it to the doctor.
They are so nice.. This place saved my life and a lot of others. So what if you have to wait a few minutes for your appointment. They are explaining the details to others. Be greatful. 💜
Worst office staff ever for a doctor office! They suck so bad snd are totally incompetent, apathetic and absolutely uncaring to patients.Don’t waste your time here !
Office staff getting me an appt very helpfulSo far so good l will be seeing Dr Wasserman heard lots of good things about him. Will update
IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A HALF OF A STAR I WOULD BUT THERE IS NO OPTION. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL. EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT I HAVE TO WAIT MORE THAN AN HOUR. AND SEE YHAT WITH EVERY PATIENT. THE (LITTLE GIRLS) AT THE FRONT THEY ALWAYS DO A TERRIBLE JOB YOU CAN TELL THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE WHATEVER THEY SUPPOSED TO DO. OBVIOUSLY COORDINATING IS NOT THEIR STRENGTH. MAYBE THEY WILL DO BETTER AT MCDONALS. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
The Dr. is Amazing-unfortuanly the staff are rude and disrespectful-the Dr. is getting ten stars-the staff gets 0. The staff should be retrained or better yet replaced!
My mother always said that if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all..with that in mind 👎🏻🤬👎🏻
The front of ladies are very rude none of them should be in customer service positions and the do not know their jobs
My appointment was at 230 here it is 337 and I still havent seen my doctor... I wouldnt recommend coming here if you are on a time crunch I hate that it always takes so long here
I gave 2 stars because of the stuff. Sometimes just one impolite and impatient person named P. can ruin a lot of doctors practice.
I needed to get staples taken out after my hysterectomy and the doctor came in was extremely rude and yanked the staples out after keeping me waiting for over an hour in the exam room
Melanie Lundy the office manager doesnt return calls and emails. Completely unprofessional and just plain unkind.....
Staff is very friendly, was seen on time and received great care and treatment for my visit.
Love my doctor but the office staff sucks.
The front office staff were very kind and efficient.
Great service and great staff. Taylor was so helpful!
Doctors are great, parking is horrible
The staff at this center is so rude.
I have not rated this place until now because after my last appointment I told myself that I would NEVER EVER come back and had just forgotten until today when I received from my insurance company that they are no longer sending patients here! As all the other poor reviews this is the worse and last place any woman should go due to lack of empathy, disrespectful, blatantly rude, being ignored and lied to by the front office staff! First impressions are the most important and the office staff is incompetent, they charge astronomical fees for disability/FMLA paperwork and screw it all up and expect to pay again! Who are they and why do they hire these horrible people to do these types of jobs?
The worst experience, I ended up canceling the appointment I had at that place, I can only say that they wasted my time, they are too irresponsible, they changed the day of the appointment and when I got to the place it was not there, I called and after half an hour They responded that they called all the patients to notify them of the change and I did not receive any call and the worst thing was that according to it was not that day the appointment was the next day and that they had not changed the day.
There is no where to park
