I couldn’t have ask for a better experience! I was a patient at the Mobile location. Kathleen and Stephine were amazing and continue to be a huge support to me. Dr. Ripps was determined to help me and he did! Most people think just because they do fertility treatments they will become pregnant. I wish this were true but this process takes patience. So in closing good luck on your journey pack your patience and trust your medical team. This team was nothing short of wonderful to me and my family!! I will forever be grateful!

Quick appointments. Incredible staff. Very transparent about my options. I could not have imagined a better experience during a difficult time. We have a little one on the way because of this group!

As we prepare for our second child to arrive, it is only appropriate that I share a proper review, for others to see, of NewLIFE. Infertility is a hard topic to discuss and the process of getting to the end result is quite intense; however, with the staff and providers in the Mobile office, our dreams became a reality, TWICE.I encourage anyone who has questions about infertility, assisted reproduction, etc. to reach out to Dr. Ripps. Do not let any preconceptions or barriers stand in your way. You will be treated with kindness and understanding, while being presented with you options to reach your personal goals.Kathileen and Stephanie are highly trained professionals that treat you more like family thank patients. The ease of scheduling, ongoing communication, and clear treatment protocols made our experience much easier than ever anticipated. We shopped all around Mobile and nothing comes close to what NewLIFE officers. The support team in the NewLIFE Mobile office is excellent. At my age (above 40 when we started the process trying for our first child), I had little to no hope of having a baby and as I mentioned, I am expecting number two. I am so glad we found the NewLIFE Mobile office. Our experiences have been so positive.

I wanted to give this place an opportunity to redeem themselves. My wife scheduled an appointment on the 11th for the 22nd. She received a confirmation call for the appointment on the mornining of the 20th only to be called back by their office the afternoon of the 20th to say the appointment time was unavailable but they could see us on the 26th or the 15th of the following month. Not even the courtesy of an explanation as to why our scheduled and confirmed appointment was cancelled. My wife was devastated. Dealing with Infertility has been an extremely frustrating experience for us and instances such as these make it no better. This is not the first instance of unprofessionalism we have experienced with this place but it is the most recent. They should be more empathetic to the people that place not only the trust but their hopes and dreams in their hands and considerate of their patients time. I also suggest that they are more open during consultations about what to expect as far as the frequency of appointments and cost. We often would have appointments where you go in to have a 5 or 10 minute conversation about the next appointment but they charge you for each visit you make. I understand they are ultimately in the business to make but some of those appointments could have been discussed over the phone and save the patients few dollars. At any rate after the unprofessionalism, the excessive amount of seemingly unnecessary appointments, a few thousand dollars in hospital bills, and an in retrospect the unnecessary removal of one of my wifes fallopian tubes with zero results we will go back to the drawing board.

My husband and I have been patients at NewLIFE (Mobile office mostly) since March.Id like to tell you our story so that hopefully, other women/couples can make an informed decision. After a lot of blood work and many ultrasounds during March, we were (finally) called in Aug for a review with Dr. Ripps. We were told that IVF was our only option and that we needed to start ASAP to have a good shot. We began the IVF process in November (they do every other month). At this same review (Aug.), Dr. Ripps informed us the cost of the treatment as a whole would be $12,500 and the meds would run $2,500 at a min. (if we could order them in time to get them here from the UK/Canada) or $5,000 MAX if we order them from the US.We didnt hear from the clinic until mid Oct. about signing our paperwork, even though I called a couple of times to ensure we were on the right track timeline-wise (since we were hoping to get the medications from the UK/Canada to save).A couple of days before we went in for our late Oct. apt. to sign our paperwork, an Rx was called in for my meds. We were FLOORED to find out that they were approx $9,700. We were then also told they would be the same price from the UK/Canada, and could get hung up in customs, so we needed to order them from the US. One of the nurses informed us about a program that could provide a discount, and our ins. covered some (total after discounts ~$5,700)*We were told the meds were more b/c I was on the highest dose, but I assumed Dr. Ripps would have been aware that would be the case during our review, not to mention Im not the 1st patient to be on this dose, leading me to believe he either didnt know what he was talking about and was just saying what he could to get us to the ~$15k total we had discussed in March, or he is incredibly misinformed and talks about med costs without doing his due diligence.11/6- egg retrieval. They were only able to get 5 eggs. 3 were mature/injected, and 1 fertilized. Kathleen called on 11/10 informing us there would be nothing to transfer the next day. She asked if Dr. Ripps had called. He had not. She said he would be calling soon.He NEVER called.Kathleen called 11/14, to ask if we wanted to come in in Dec., to discuss with Dr. Ripps our options. I told her that I felt pretty lousy that we spent a large sum of money-the same as everyone else- and didnt even get to go through the entire process and Dr. Ripps hadnt even reached out. We were given bad news and then just left with no info and not even a call from the doctor as mentioned. Despite that, I told her we would like to come in, and figure out what is next, b/c we are wanting to move forward with another cycle. She told me that the only day she had available was December 5th, (we will be out of town working the week of 12/2-12/6 and cant make that day). She said that was the only day he has available due to other appts with other patients and new patients. So not only did we not receive a call, but we were clearly NOT a priority in any way since we didnt have any embryos at this time.IVF is done next in Jan. so if we dont get to see him until Jan., we would obviously be put off an additional 2 months which is incredibly discouraging, considering Dr. Ripps is the one who made it clear we needed to be moving forward ASAP.My husband and I feel we were just a number to Dr. Ripps. We paid the same sum as everyone else and were dropped when we couldnt produce embryos first attempt. I have several friends who have done IVF with other clinics and their doctors are much more proactive in conversing with them, especially if they are receiving bad news. Since we were only offered one date in Dec. that we cannot make work, we have been pushed off until at least January, which we find to be unacceptable. We will be continuing our treatment elsewhere. This clinic ONLY received 2 stars because of Kathleen, Heather and Paula. Dr. Ripps receives 1 star.IVF is an emotional and difficult process for anyone- youll want the right dr. by your side, and in my opinion, it is not Dr. Ripps.

Save yourself some pain and heartache by choosing a different fertility doctor. If you don’t do things “there” way they don’t want you as a patient. It’s ridiculous and highly disappointing. If you want a truly caring fertility doctor I recommend Dr. Inge, he genuinely cares about you as a person and doesn’t just see you as a dollar sign. Terrible doctor and terrible staff!

I can remember going here and the assistant was so rude, she did it in front of staff and didn’t once get in trouble for her mouth. I walked out that day and I will never attend this clinic again.
