I can not say enough good things about this place. Dr. Weedin and the nursing staff are all amazing. They went above and beyond for us. When we got pregnant and lost our first daughter they helped us through our grief and held our hand through it. When we conceived our now 1 year old little girl she stayed with us the whole time. She found us an amazing team of high risk doctors and even helped me find an obgyn that actually listens to me. She checked in and made sure I was being treated right through out the whole pregnancy. All of the nurses that work here are amazing too. They us well informed not once did we have a problem with any of them.
My husband I went here about three years ago. Our experience was not pleasant. There was a lot of miss communication between our insurance and heartland. I had a lapascropics surgery scheduled before I transitioned jobs but had to cancel that due to miss communication from a nurse to send my Covid test to. They did not provide the correct address and because of that had to be turned away because they did not get the results and other complications from that as well. Plus the whole year my husband and I went here we had nothing definitely diagnosed besides possibly a blocked tube doing the dye test. After that year my husband and decided to take a break from even trying. We felt so defeated after heartland. Recently we went to Omaha obgyn and associates and had two rounds of IUI done with no luck but by surprise after those treatments that following month we tested positive!! Needles to say I would not recommended this place. They do not follow through or communicate and are very biased. I’m just happy we went somewhere else where things were accomplished without feeling uncomortable.
We love Heartland! Our experience was wonderful and we are eternally grateful for the attentive care and unwavering support of the staff.Special shout out to Team Delaney. The medical expertise and care plan were excellent. Even more, the emotional support, understanding, hugs, and love helped carry us through one of the most challenging times in our lives.Thank you for everything, Heartland!!!
Wonderful/compassionate staff, clean and welcoming office, and very knowledgeable doctors! Highly recommend.(Special shoutout to Dr. Delaney and her team)
I went here in 2021 after my husband and I had been trying for 13 years with no pregnancy at all. We had my husbands sperm tested and it was very low, so we thought that was the problem. He had a varicocele, but the urologist they work with and they said IVF was the only option, which was so confusing to us we got a second opinion, which was just yeah, IVF (which kinda tells you something about the fertility industry tbh)They had me do hormonal testing through my doctor, and said my egg reserves and everything was normal with me. I thought it was weird that there was NOTHING wrong with me, as I was 34 at the time and had been trying since I was 22, but thought maybe his semen was really just that bad. They did my hystosonogram and found a big polyp in my uterus, removed it, and then we waited until December when we could get a good sample from my husband. They did zero further tests on me.My doctor was Dr. Weedin, but she didnt do my procedure because she was on vacation, so it was done by Dr. Gustin. They got 9 eggs (I think) from my procedure. The call the next day, probably one of the worst days of my life, Dr. Gustin told me that not one egg fertilized normally and that it appeared my eggs were poor quality. I couldnt have a follow up appointment until after the new year (so that Christmas was fun), and Dr. Weedin was still out, so I met with Dr. Gustin and she told me that my eggs didnt look good and there was a lot of debris (still not sure what that means, my current doctor also doesnt know what she meant by that). She recommended another cycle where I take birth control for the cycle before and then growth hormone. I started that in February and it made me so sick - I started the first day of my period as they told me, and I didnt STOP bleeding until I stopped three weeks later. I ended up FINALLY speaking with Dr. Weedin near the end of February. All she would talk about was my husbands sperm being bad and we need to do a surgical extraction. I asked about what Dr. Gustin said about my eggs not being good quality and she said I dont know, I didnt see them and was in general pretty dismissive that there might be anything wrong with me. We couldnt afford the extraction, so we decided to wait until we could.I was so uncomfortable with what happened that next year I decided to look into maybe getting my husband help without IVF. I had heard good things about Pope Paul VI, so I went there to see if they could assist with male infertility. During my first appointment there, they asked more questions about my cycle than Id ever been asked by any doctor in my life. At the end, she rather matter of fact-ly said Im pretty sure you have EndometriosisThey ran actual full hormone panels and said things were definitely NOT normal, started me on thyroid meds, and I had a laparoscopy the found - guess what! - severe Endo completely wrapped around my ovaries, to the point where they are almost entirely adhered to my pelvic sidewall. I also have it all over other places too. Im having surgery to remove it in January.I wrote this long review because I think its important that women know that you need to advocate for yourself and just because a doctor says theres nothing wrong with you doesnt make it true. With how much Endometriosis is related to infertility (over half of women with infertility have Endometriosis), it is almost malpractice to me that they would completely ignore the possibility that I had this - especially after the first failure, and when severe Endo is specifically known to make IVF success rates so much lower!I cannot guarantee that Ill get pregnant after the surgery, but Id rather actually fix something thats wrong with me that get my hopes up for however many cycles my insurance covers. I really felt like they were trying to just run me through as many cycles as possible, and I know in my heart, especially seeing what condition my ovaries are in, they would have been unsuccessful.So... Yeah. 0/10, would not recommend.
I cannot put into words how amazing the staff is at this clinic. They were on the ball through our entire IVF journey, with insanely fast calls back when it came to my questions, test results or even when I was just afraid and needed reassurance, and I was so sad to leave them when we switched to our OB. After nearly an 8 year infertility journey, we decided to go in for IVF, and after our second transfer we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. Hes 7 months old now, and I just am so glad we walked into that clinic.
Dr Constance and all of the staff are absolutely wonderful. They are very knowledgeable in their fields and will answer any and all questions you could possibly think of. Dr Constance walked us through a variety of options and avenues to start our family from the start. Her science based evidence proves to be very effective within her field. Her heart and soul goes into every patient she encounters and helped us, especially me through an extremely difficult time. She grieves with you for the hard times and celebrates with gusto for the good. Her compassion, kindness and love for her patients comes from deep within, and I will forever be grateful that I met her. No one is more dedicated to patient care and results than she is.
Everyone here was so amazing when me and my husband were trying to get pregnant with our first baby. So supportive, helpful, and friendly! They truly care. We have our first baby on the way and couldn’t be more thankful. I cannot recommend them enough!
Our experience with Heartland was great! From day one through “graduation day” we felt comfortable and taken care of! :)Now we have a baby on board and we will move to the OB who will deliver the baby. It’s almost bittersweet to leave a place you’ve become so comfortable with… but it’s for the best reason :) we can’t thank Heartland enough for all of their help!
Switched doctors as I didnt even meet my doctor in person until over a year of being here and after my miscarriage. And there was poor communication with some of her staff. You work mostly with nurses and they do the IUIs. Their billing is chaotic. I feel their experience with working with a patient over 40 yrs. old is low.
The level of care we received from Dr. Delaneys team was, frankly, amazing. We received compassionate care, mixed with expertise in the lastest research. Highly recommend!!!
My husband and I tried to conceive for nearly two years. We were referred to the Heartland Center for Reproductive Medicine by his urologist. From the moment we called, we knew we were in great hands! I was really disappointed when I found out our only option was IVF, but the optimism and kindness of Dr. Gustin, Dr. Constance and all the nurses there made me feel like it was all going to be okay. I was really skeptical and thought it would take a few rounds to get pregnant, even though I was assured that we were perfect candidates. We were able to get 9 viable embryos after our egg retrieval! Originally I was planned for a fresh embryo transfers but we decided to go with a frozen transfer a few later due to my hormone levels. Always better safe then sorry! And they want you to truly have the best chance possible. Honestly in the grand scheme of life, whats two more months? After our first transfer, we got the call that I was pregnant, and I was SHOCKED! I really didnt think it would work the first time. But we are absolutely overjoyed. I just graduated to my regular OB and we are so sad to leave Heartland. I truly felt like family there. It was always so comfortable.Whenever I called with a question, no matter how dumb I felt asking, they always made me feel like I was heard and they answered quickly. Whenever I called with a billing question, the got back to me right away. Going through this whole process during a pandemic was hard, since my husband could only wait in the parking lot. While he wasnt there, I was NEVER alone. There was always someone there to talk with me and hold my hand during every single procedure. I will most definitely be coming back for our next baby! I cannot stress how much I love this place!
My experience with Heartland has been fantastic. We are so lucky to have two successful pregnancies. It was always sad to leave the team at Heartland but for the best reasons, we were pregnant! I would and have recommended Heartland to anyone trying to start a family. They are a great support system.
The nurses and doctors are wonderful to work with. Our IVF worked first try. We were lucky and had everyone there being hopeful without also having unrealistic expectations kept us hopeful and grounded. If you have to go here, you are already under quite a bit of stress. Its good to feel like the staff is on your side.
Dr. Weedin took her time explaining everything to me and my fiancé. There was never any judgement or backhanded comments. She was kind and listened to everything I had to say. She REALLY listened and I was finally able to get some answers.
Our family is beyond thankful for everything Heartland has done for us over the last 9 months. They have been such a blessing to us! Without them, we’d have likely given up on the dream of growing our family. We always felt heard, known, and always received the most thorough explanation of any and all treatments, lab work, and scans. We felt very involved every step of the way. The positivity that radiates in this office cannot be beat. We’re so glad that we’ve trusted Dr. Gustin and her team to steer us in the right direction. We are so thankful that God put people on this earth to be His hands and feet. We are forever grateful for Heartland Center for Reproduction!
The journey of fertility is made clear, supportive, and lovely by the team at Heartland. I had the absolute best experience from the moment I began at Heartland. I met with Dr. Gustin, Dr. Maclin, and the nursing staff at the start. Everyone was welcoming and professional. After having tried everything to get pregnant ourselves, going into Heartland was an answered prayer. My husband and I knew we were in the right place.During your fertility journey, you spend a lot of time with the staff, I got to know the team really well. They were so kind and informative, always supporting me and my choices. We went straight into IUI, but your unique treatments will be YOUR perfect fit. Our miracle baby Marigold was born in the summer of 2019. Dr. Gustin was so supportive and a leader on the path. I honestly needed someone to take my hand and lead the way. She did so in a way that empowered me to become the best mother I could be.
Dr. Maclin was the only doctor to really listen to me after seeing 3 separate OBs while trying to get pregnant for a second time. After suffering with symptoms that were dismissed, she and her staff helped us figure out what was going on and through surgery, removed several adhesions. It’s not cheap, at least 1k up front for labs between my husband and I. Unfortunately, most insurance companies don’t cover the full cost of fertility treatments but I did know the total cost of everything up front and some of the tests were optional. I have not had any surprise bills to date and a woman called to fully understand what my insurance would cover and what the process would look like for me to get approval. For the first time in 3 years, I feel hopeful. The staff here is kind, compassionate and I never felt rushed or like I was just one patient. Fertility issues are agonizing and can really take a toll on your mentally and physically- being under the care of a Doctor I trust and who I feel like really cares about me has made this whole journey more doable.
We had the most caring, compassionate experience with Dr. Maclin and Katherine and now have the most beautiful boy! Katherine cared for us so well throughout our 2 year journey, always keeping us encouraged. Dr. Maclin is brilliant, thorough, and made herself available to her patients which is quite rare these days. The whole experience while difficult was made better because of these two women specifically. We’re celebrating 18 months of Landon this week and reflecting on how grateful we are for Heartland Center!
I am so grateful to Dr Gustin and the whole staff at heartland. Going through infertility treatments is hard but dr gustin is so easy to talk to and understanding. She made this process so much easy. It was like having a friend by your side. Walking in your welcomed by a great receptionist who is so sweet and attentive. The nurses are amazing! Smart, profesional, definitely know what theyre doing. We are expecting a baby boy and were so grateful 🙏 with everyone here.
Dr. Weedin is the most compassionate and caring human being and outstanding medical professional. She goes above and beyond to address your anxieties fears in moments you feel like you’re spiraling. Her way of explaining things with facts and logic and science while remaining empathetic makes her a truly gifted doctor and friend.
DO NOT go to this place. My husband and I have been going here for five months now with no results. I have tried scheduling two surgery’s through them and each one has failed either cause insurance won’t cover it or miss communication with the ambulatory surgery center. If I could give this place 0 stars I would as well. People should not have to get there hopes up and then get them crushed when once again nothing is happening. Infertility is a major problem for most women but is not talked about and is hartening when trying to conceive for so long.
I was a very fortunate to be a patient of Dr Constance and can not express how wonderful she is. After trying to conceive for two years, we were able to get pregnant after our first round of IVF. Highly recommend going to Heartland.
Dr Gustin is one of the best in this industry! I have been to five fertility clinics across the country, and she is a top notch RE. She is absolutely brilliant and is consistently researching the latest IVF trends and studies. She is connected to REs all over the country and is deeply passionate about her work. She is beyond compassionate with a heart of gold. Many IVF clinics can have a cold and numbers feel to them. Heartland feels more like family. The front desk, the nurses, ultrasound techs, doctors... all of them have treated me like a human, and I can tell they truly care about my outcomes. Please do yourself a favor, and consult w Steph Gustin. She will handle you with care... I promise.
We can’t thank Dr. Elizabeth Constance and the staff at Heartland enough! We did IVF and are 29 weeks pregnant with a baby boy! The IVF process can be hard emotionally, physically and financially but they patiently answered all of our questions and made sure we were informed before every procedure.
We loved the staff and facility! We are pregnant on our first IVF cycle after a fresh transfer. Unfortunately, we only had one embryo make it to day 5. We will be doing our second round with them as well!
So happy with the care I received here. Was new to the process and totally confused. They explained my health issues to me in great detail and were always there when I had questions. After tests and an IUI treatment we ended up pregnant with twins. Give them a try! Youll be happy you did.
Go elsewhere. We went to this place because it was recommended by my doctor and then made the mistake of not getting a second opinion. We were told at our initial consultation that they do not do tubal reversals but that they recommend IVF because my chances of conception would be higher. We fell for the professional opinion of someone who no longer works there. Weve tried 3 times and have had no success with a pregnancy and are out thousands of dollars. With that said billing there is absolutely horrendous. We paid our account down in February and just COLLECTIONS NOTICE today for almost 5K. We may owe that much NOW but our last procedure was on April 17th so how is our bill already being sent to collections? I can tell SO many other stories about our horrible experience with their billing department but Im not wasting any more of my time. Again, dont waste your time or your money here.
After bloodwork and and ultra sound I was told to call back when I hit my goal weight, I asked for my blood results more than once and was never provided them, could not make an appointment to go over them, no one ever called to go over anything irregular. My husband was never provided his results just no news is good news. Today I visited a new provider who reviewed my year old results that they released to her and was told that I have a thyroid issue that Heartland tested for and never disclosed to me! 10/10 will never recommend!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Email correspondence only; I request information about what banks they work with because Im considering becoming a new patient in a few months and want to start shopping. Ive had specimen that a clinic wouldnt work with before because it was from a bank they didnt like, so I wanted to be sure. The whole email interaction was pointless. The person was rude and provided no information only to tell me eventually that since Im not a current patient they cant give me that info. Well, Im glad I emailed ahead of time to find out how bad their customer service is before I waste one red cent.
Dr. Maclin, Dr. Barton (relocated to CO) and the entire Heartland team were a dream to work with during our IVF journey. All were professional, clear with instructions and warm. IUI, IVF and other fertility measure are never guaranteed outcomes but we felt well-informed on the process, costs and statistics of the procedures to make educated decisions along the way.
I chose to have my bloodwork done elsewhere while my husband received his here. His was a standard small bloodwork, two vials taken. I had 11 taken at another place screening for 18 different things. They charged our insurance over $200 for my husband, by comparison my much larger screening was $80 done elsewhere. I believe they are price gouging and preying on people hoping for children. IVF was the first thing they discussed with me, when that is not something that would fix our issues. Please seek other opinions. They’re in it for the money—nothing else.
Dr Macline...Is the best...she found out what was wrong with me when others DR was saying I was fine. first IVF got pregnant with my handsome son. The team was great And Jo-J in financial help me and my husband out alot. Thanks for blessing us with our son😘
Felt totally let down. The consult was outrageously priced for what we got out of it. It was more of a come sit here while I talk at you. We were told that we would have to come back again for another round of labs because what we had sent from another office wasnt good enough they wanted to start from scratch. Our referring office and I were disappointed and the next provider was surprised as well.
I went into the clinic as a potential egg donor - Did not have a good experience. I neglected to inform them of some headaches I had in my medical history and because I didnt make them aware upon our first meeting I was essentially called a liar and I wasnt being candid. Over one piece of information!! Ridiculous. Also, the nurses in the egg donor program are impossible to get a hold of if you have any questions and never return your calls if you leave messages. STAY AWAY.
My wife and I went to this place for all of the testing. On the surface they appeared to be knowledgeable about their work. The problem is when it comes for billing. They do not know if they are coming or going. We went there 3 different times, and recieved 3 different prices. The pricing was more by a few thousand each time. We then called ARC which they recommended for financing. When ARC came back with pricing, that they confirmed with this place, it was again $2k more than the last quote. We figured if they dont know what theyre doing when it comes to billing, they probably dont know what theyre doing when it comes to anything else, so we declined. Also, when we received our payment plan from ARC, who specializes in this type of loan, the interest rate was 12.99%. This is with good credit!!! We then received a surprise bill in the mail, for services we were told were taken care of by our insurance. In the real world if youre wrong, you eat your mistake. Not the case with this place. Money hungry to say the least. It appears as if they purposely mislead you. Maybe business isnt that good for them that they do all they can to take it whatever money they can scrounge up. I would not reccommend this place and look around. There are places within a 2 hour drive that charge much less and get great results.
I am working with Dr. Maclin for PCOS. She is a pleasure to work with. She takes the time to listen and answer my questions. The staff is friendly and patient. Dr. Maclin has taken the time to call me at home with my questions. I am grateful for the attention to detail she puts into her patients.
They ripped me off for $349 after admitting their mess up/confusion. DONT do genetic testing through them! They inaccurately tell people the 27 panel is a FULL panel. You end up paying $349 for a partial 27 panel when youre able to test for 274 genetic diseases FOR THE SAME PRICE!! I argued with them for an entire day and they ADMITTED they didnt realize they were inaccurately telling people the 27 panel is a full panel. So now Im stuck having to test again and pay the $349 again. I am filing a Better Business Complaint against them.
Dr. Constance is the best. From being knowledgeable to compassionate and everything in between, I cannot imagine a better provider. We are due with our miracle baby in April.
Did a procedure there that “needed” to get paid up front. Next thing I know they billed me for it! I fought it and even sent a letter to the clinics doctor. Until they took off the charge but no one from billing had the proper customer service to up date me. Fertiliy is stressful at is and I sure didn’t appreciate more stress added to it!
Dr. Maclin is wonderful to work with and we found her bedside manner to be excellent. We had great success with Heartland.
Dr. Elizabeth Constance is amazing! She’s professional but so down to earth. Made my wife and I feel so comfortable!
Not impressed, 4 IUIs later & no results, not to mention she doesnt do any of the inseminations. Waste of my money. Dont waste yours.
The receptionist made me feel so stupid for not knowing the appropriate verbage for what I was needing done. I will never go to this facility!
They deal with all aspects of infertility and hormones. They communicate well and answer any and all questions.
Great service the doctor explained all the details
What about IVF cost and payment plans?
Everyone here is very friendly!
Highly recommended!!!!
We want to thank the team at the center for their professionalism and dedication and especially Dr. Gustin, who helped us make our dream come true and was always present for us.
