Only staff member that showed any empathy and didnt make me feel humiliated was the front desk. She was super nice and understanding. Others werent helpful, I thought I made a mistake on my payment plan. Lady helping me said nope leave it. Something must was written wrong, payments never came out and I ended up getting a past due bill. Called to ask about it and I was nowhere in their system. Gal on the phone was even laughing about it. Cant even find my bill on the insta med and other profiles they have set up. No one had answers. I will not be returning and will never recommend.

The staff at this facility are always so positive and friendly. They helped me find a birth control that would be right for my body and within my budget as I dont have insurance at this time. I have never met a team of nurses, administrators, and doctors that care more about the health and safety of women. I would highly recommend Planned Parenthood (this location especially!) to anyone who is in need of reproductive healthcare!

Went in for testing since it had been a while and I recently met someone. Staff was professional and polite. Only issue was entry, the buzz latch I believe is old and requires updating. The security on the other side of the door was very helpful inspite of his years and need of a cane.

I 100% support PPH. They found precancerous cells on my cervix which lead me to getting a colposcopy and eventually a LEEP procedure done. I had no insurance, and they did everything they could and went out of their way to help me, not only with affordable exams but pointing me in the right direction for my LEEP. I now have had normal paps for the last few years and I couldnt be more thankful for them, what they do and offer.Im sorry for those whose experience wasnt amazing due to the wait times. The staff works hard to get everyone seen, while offering discounted or free services, theyre definitely going to be busy. They look for ways to help you afford your care as well, if you cant afford it yourself. Theyre helping people.I should also mention that the staff are always so cheerful, caring and kind. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and Informed. Ive never felt judged there either. They have my support.

The staff here are extremely friendly and made sure I was comfortable. They answered all of my questions with a loving heart and were the sweetest to me. My doctor introduced herself to me and made me feel very welcomed. They went through all of the different types of birth control with me and gave me all of the information to find a fit that best suited me. They answered every single question. They were very professional. No I was not promoted to do this, just a very very happy customer. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Im sorry that any other poster received less than the best help because it was nothing like I experienced. The visit I had was lovely. The intake process was typical as one would experience when going to a new physician, asking about payments methods and filling out medical history.Dont let the inability to pay scare you. They will help no matter how much you can afford or if you cannot pay - although if you can afford it or have insurance it certainly helps PP keep their costs down. I was able to get free help due to my current financial situation.Women can have well woman appointments and of course, various forms of contraception including free condoms! Their mission is to protect the reproductive health of all people. Women obviously require most of the services offered but men a few services like STD testing, education and condoms (of course everyone can have them too:))The staff was friendly, warm and non-judgemental. I experienced nothing but kindness and convenience. I was able to schedule an appointment to receive the contraceptive method of my choice and I am very happy with them.

I got sick of paying for birth control every month and running around with my gyno to get an IUD was something of an inconvenience. I elected to try Planned Parenthood. I expected staff to be very much like DMV employees, but I was very pleasantly surprised to be greeted with friendly, knowledgeable professionals who were completely open to all questions and willing to find the answers to some weird ones. The actual IUD procedure went so much more smoothly than I expected, and the care I received before, during, and after was laudable. The absolute best part about my experience at PP is that they were completely upfront about pricing, making sure I was given an income-based discount, and even called to let me know that my procedure would be covered 100% with my insurance. As promised, the invoice I signed afterwards showed a $0 balance. The only downside to a PP visit (especially one that requires a procedure like I underwent) is the wait. They are, undoubtedly, very busy, and so I was willing to accept this, knowing full well to expect it when I went in almost fifteen minutes early. All in all, this particular PP clinic comes highly recommended by me for all your sexual health needs and concerns.

Was the worst experience ive ever had in a clinic. When i walked in and they ran my name one of the ladies said to the other lady ..see you had a pap to do today&the other one responded she didnt want to do any&then they bothe looked up and saw i was looking at them&the lady went back to checking me in. Intold her i had insurance&handed her the card&said my id was expired. She looked back at the other lady &back at me&said they cant take my insurance without a valid id&that i couldnt pay pmyself out of pocket because i had insurance&i had to use it if i had it. She suggestrd i go to charles drew or one world&then jist stared at me and said SORRY ..it made me feel terrible&was like i was in highschool being snubbed by some snotty girls. Im not done with this complaint. At all. Thats unacceptable. It was disgusting. Disgusting people working there.

Make sure you dont have anything to do for at least 4 hours. No matter what time of day I come or what day I am ALWAYS waiting over an hour to be seen. There excuse every time is we are behind. How can you be that far behind every day. I just dont understand that. It is absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. If this place wasnt cheap I wouldnt come here. I have been to a different planned parenthood that was a 2 hour drive from me and they still managed to get me in on time for my appointment and I didnt have to wait to be seen. If this place wasnt cheap I wouldnt be seen here. You guys need to get your stuff together and start either not scheduling so many appointments in one day or get more doctors to help.

I scheduled online to go in for birth control. Got a call 15 minutes before my appointment to get told that they didn’t run my insurance correctly before hand so I would have to reschedule. Rescheduled for two weeks later. Redid my entire work schedule. Got a call 15 minutes before my appointment once again to get told that they double booked and that I would have to once again reschedule and mess up my whole work schedule. I just told them to cancel after the second one because after having to redo my entire work schedule twice and still getting told that I would have to reschedule once again I will never be trying them again.

I went for the first time today, and all I can say is I felt comfortable and the process was easy and simple. I was scared going into an unfamiliar place, but after being there and asking my questions, I felt comfortable and left feeling content with my visit.

Treated my wife great but when I got up to go with her they told me that they where only taking her like I was a random patient trying to get into the back didnt ask who I was or anything separating me from my wife and our future baby was completely out of line only reason theyre getting 3 stars because they treated her well they would have got 5 if they didnt treat me like I was nothing or find out why I was trying to go with her hell they could have explained why I wasnt allowed but instead told me they were only seeing her a regular doctors office wouldnt have done that

Even if I have to wait I will. Look around they are helping people for damn near free. I will sit around all day for a free annual, free std checks, They had found cancer cells in my uterus and bc of them they figuted out how to get me out of paying $500 for the procedure it was free and without it I would have gotten cancer so yes I will sit around all day any day to save my life and I expect to sit around and let people who have issues like that be taken care of as well. (That procedure was thousands of dollars at my actual doctor)

This facility needs to be shutdown, its so unprofessional. I was calling to make an appointment for a pap and birth control options but the phone just kept ringing. 2 minutes is how long I was on the phone. I even checked the hours to see if they were closed. I called at 3:30 and they dont close until 5 pm on Mondays. Annoyed is I all I can say.

I waited for over an hour to be seen. Then, while i was about to get my depo shot the lady and i argued about where it was going to go. This place is terrible. Some lady was late and lost her job because of it. Im going to take my business elsewhere. That was ridiculous.
