I needed to get a sports physical for my child. This place is significantly less expensive than other urgent cares. Efficient, too. I was able to join the line and fill out all paperwork online so all I had to do upon arrival was pay. The staff was excellent and friendly. Very well run and clean facility. I will definitely come back here if ever needed.
Worst experience of my life. After cutting my thumb very badly and needing sutures I came here because the ER was full at lakeside. The nurse was nice but the “Dr” that did the sutures was awful. When the doctor came to the room to numb my thumb, she seemed very annoyed because I was nervous. I have had shots in my fingers before and I just remember them being very uncomfortable, but when she started to give me the numbing shots it was so excruciating that I started to scream and get lightheaded. She had asked me if I had eaten, and I said no. She was upset by that and told me if she would have known she would have sent me away because they don’t have time to deal with patients that haven’t eaten. Like I knew any better. She gave me a package of crackers, which I told her I’m sorry I do not eat that type of food (processed gluten and peanut butter) and her response was “todays not a good day to diet, I don’t like people who diet”. I told her I’m not on a diet. I just don’t eat that kind of food. I then grabbed a fruit strip, and applesauce out of my purse and ate those. She was so mad I refused to eat the crackers. She was getting even madder because I was screaming in pain, I was honestly trying my hardest not to and telling her I had a high pain tolerance and her response was a condescending “mmhhmm”. Not once did she show any empathy but instead made me feel very belittled like I was just being a baby. I have been through a lot of very painful things, and this was one of the most painful. After she let some of the numbing set in, she proceeded to place the sutures in which I could feel everything. All I could do was scream in pain while she proceeded to tell me she had other patients (I literally saw no other people the whole time I was there and the door to my room was open most of the time) and just wanted to hurry up and get me out of there. Not once did she apologize for the pain that I was experiencing (even though the pain was to be expected, I wasn’t blaming her for that) or explain that it was possible the numbing wasn’t working because of nerve damage, or how I was reacting was justified due to the massive amount of nerve endings in our finger tips, instead, her response was “well if you would’ve eaten the crackers that I gave you I could’ve given you more numbing”. As we proceeded to leave, she said next time you should bring your daughter (5 years old) so she can see the way you acted. My Mom was there with me and even she made several comments about how rude the doctor was. I don’t know the doctors name because I did not receive any type of paperwork. I have to return in a few days to have the sutures removed and I fear seeing this doctor again. Her bedside manner needs a lot of work. I will never return here as long this Dr works here.
Something has changed at this location; it has become much slower and more inconvenient. The last time we came at 9:30 AM, we were given an estimated time of 10:00 AM after scanning the barcode, even though no one else was in the lobby. We then waited another 15 minutes inside the room, so we didnt leave the facility until 10:30, just to check for an ear infection. Additionally, I had to fill out a registration form and scan my ID and insurance card using my phones camera, which is not convenient to do in the lobby. In our previous visits, the person at the front desk always took care of all scanning for us, but now it all needs to be done on your phone. Also, we never waited more than 25-30 minutes before at this location.
Went to the urgent care for a medical issue. The online check in was hassle free. The staff were professional. Service was quick, there was no confusion or chaotic ER visit. I highly recommend Midlands family Urgent Care.
Our son was injured at a baseball game and the staff made him feel comfortable. They were great to work with. Given our situation we were in and out quickly but thoroughly. We even got our follow up call as we were told. Keep up the great service!!

The nurse and provider were both very thorough and professional and at the same time made me comfortable. I thankfully have not had to visit an urgent care in a very long time but am happy to say my visit went fast and smoothly
I went to this clinic in April after waking up very sick.I should have read the one star reviews. I was sent a $1,030 bill for being in the clinic less than an hour, they ran maybe three to four tests on me and I cannot get through on their phone systems.I was in the clinic for less than an hour, they tested for COVID, influenza and strep throat. I tested positive for strep throat and they sent a prescription through to my pharmacy. In under an hour, how is $1,000 reasonable?
My visit here was great! Everyone was super kind and incredibly helpful. I was recommended to get a CT scan done and after the results came in I received a call just a few hours later. They’re super efficient while being incredibly thorough and are great at communication. I was super comfortable during my visit and would highly recommend Midlands Family to anyone!
Staff was amazing, I believe the front desk receptionists name was Eric. Was helpful, informative and very patient with everyone that he greeted. Did not get the name of the young man that came to the waiting room to get my weight, ask about my ailments and swab for strep and Covid and then take my blood pressure. Then Olivia came in and examined me; asked questions and wanted to know if I was experiencing other symptoms that were not listed. She was very apologetic about the wait. She was very professional and explained what medications she was going to prescribe and how they are to be taken. Though my wife and I spent over 2 hours total there, it was not a bad experience at all.
The nurses and doctors were extremely kind and professional. They did everything to explain what was going on, I in my case if I thought I might need x-rays since they didn’t offer them there that I might need to do that if I didn’t feel like I was getting better. Also, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful and courteous. The office was clean the wait times were Quick and I didn’t have an appointment. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for quick professional care that isn’t looking to wait hours and an emergency room when it isn’t a medical situation that requires that. I do want to Reiterate, if it was such a situation where you needed emergency care that they didn’t provide They would most definitely informally you of that, and make sure that you got where you needed to go. Can’t recommend. I have been there several times For other things, and they have always treated me with respect and professionalism. 10/10 recommend
(Sramek is maiden name, Wyatt now) The care we received was adequate. However we were just there for my son with ear pain. NP was nice and checked his ear and was red so was prescribed some meds…good enough…Now last week I received our bill. The NP was in the room 5min to 10min TOPS and ran no tests/blood work. She simply looked in his ear. That is all. My bill was $340!! For what?!!!! That is specialist pricing! I called billing and they were to email my itemized statement which I have yet to receive. They also told me to call the actual clinic to find out if coded wrong. I called office and was immediately told to call billing. After I let her know that I was just instructed to call the office she said she would relay the info and have someone call me and I have yet to get that phone call back…Going to try again tomorrow to see if I can speak with someone and see how this outrageous visit was coded.I saw a foot specialist for myself PLUS X-rays and the pricing was just a bit higher than this bill.****update: posted this two weeks ago and today is going to be my third attempt to get an answer from the head physician. He is supposed to be looking into pricing and to check into being billed as a new patient vs established. Twice he has taken my number and told me he would call back. Today I am going to have to call a third time to get some type of answer since I just received my second bill for this appt that states if I do not pay in full other actions will be taken on me. Again this is only my second bill***
Great service, quick and painless. The staff were very nice and the check-in process was efficient. It’s located right next to a Walgreens so you can pick up what you need without having to drive to another location. Extremely convenient!
Walked in with an ankle injury. PSR stated that they don’t have XRay at that site. Ok fine. What I believe to be a nurse, comes up and states that it’s probably “just” a sprain or strain. And it might definitely be, but that is outside of a nursing scope to diagnose a patient, even further without any type of exam. And then she stated that they would only give her ibuprofen, steroids and wrap the ankle. What kind of service is that? Do better!
Ive been treating for respiratory issues for 35 years. Most urgent care centers are well equipped to handle it. This center was completely overwhelmed, and wouldnt even provide basic care. They were also surprisingly rude. I had to go to another urgent care center to be treated.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! Charged my wife $392 for a COVID test and will not negotiate the charge to a reasonable amount. Only concerned about making as much money as they can. Would give zero stars if I could!

Took my sick son in to be seen and had a wonderful experience! The check-in process was easy and fast. We were called back promptly and treated with care and respect. The NP even held my sons hand while the nurse swabbed his nose and throat! The next morning we were called early with test results. They own their own laboratory, so you get fast results! I highly recommend Midlands Family Urgent Care.
From the reception desk, to the health care providers, all were patient, kind, and thorough. They made my 8 year old feel calm and comfortable.
I was able to get a walk in appointment quickly, and I was very happy with the doctor’s attention to detail. She didnt seem in a rush, and she was very thorough. I also received a follow up call to see if the medication was working. I felt very cared for.
Initially went to CHI but it was a 2 hour wait to be seen. Midland got me in within 20 mins and helped me get fast relief for my sinus infection. Helpful staff and loved the quick online intake process. Thanks!
The doctor/PA that visited with me was amazing! She was so sweet, patient and responsive to me. The nurse on my first visit was also extremely patient, kind, and caring. I cant say enough good things about them. After feeling as crummy as I was, they made it just a bit more manageable and I am so thankful for them both. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
The receptionist is always rude to me and my children. She sent me a bill because I left a review that was deleted for $800 and something. My child was covered by insurance. We used that same insurance next door at Walgreens to pick up the prescription right after our appointment.
I came in with flu symptoms, sweating and shaking with a blanket and asked the front desk person if they knew how long the wait was, he barely looked up and responded “uuuh I don’t know” he was extremely rude and unhelpful. When I was having issues checking in via my phone, he at no point offered to help or just physically check me in as he was sitting there. Absolute terrible experience, I ended up leaving and just getting medicine at the neighboring Walgreens. I suggest going to any other urgent care in town.

Most unprofessional. Completely apathetic toward patient. Had no interest in checking in a patient that was actively bleeding. They did not know their policy regarding workman’s composition. Check in is done via a QR code posted at the front desk despite having a sign stating “no cell phones”. Would not recommend zero stars.
Hour and a half wait while people after me got seen before me. They claimed I filled out the paperwork wrong but I got confirmation texts at 9am that I had an appointment at 932 and was notified that I was in the que to be seen. And then I was notified that I was no longer in the que, over an hour later, via text and they said nothing about removing me from the que until I went to ask them about it. They were rude and dismissive the entire time. I only came here because over the phone they said it was a 20min wait. I was eventually seen after 1030.Tested positive for strep but was told she doesnt think I have strep even though I have all the symptoms and was asked if I want to treat it...Definitely do not recommend.

Never go to this Urgent Care. When I went in to treat a sinus infection , the doctor wanted to test for Covid as well. I received my bill and they charged $715 for a Covid exam! If you decide to go to this location, buy a testing kit at Walgreens first because it is an expensive mistake to make.
Walked in for my son to see NP for severe cold and potential strep. Front desk told us to take a seat without asking any information. Did not tell us how long the wait was going to be. Waited about an hour and we were never called to front desk. During that time frame the front desk only had 2 people show up. One other patient in the lobby when we showed up. That person was seen and left while we waited. We left and went to Methodist Urgent Care and were in and out in 45min. Will never use Midlands Urgent Care again.

My daughter and I just left Midlands and I couldn’t be happier with the the experience. Staff was extremely patient and kind to my daughter of four as she received three staples in the back of her head. Not only were they amazing in delivering the service but they stayed 30 minutes late on a Friday for us. We will be back!

Was shown into a room with a webcam and teledoc. No physical doctor on site to treat patients and it took the doctor 40 minutes to write my referral while I waited in the room with no one checking in on me. Awful experience.
Scheduled an appointment and was in and out under an hour, staff were all SO patient and kind. Will be returning to this location if I ever need it. I saw Maria and the practitioner who performed my test was so understanding, wish I caught her name.

Went to go see a doctor for a massive pain in both ears. However the first doctor didnt even want to see me also laughed at me when i was describing my symptoms. Also, she never wrote down anything. So when I had pain in my ears and throat to the point I couldnt swallow anything. I had to go back the next day and pay 2 co-pays because the other doctor was telling me since she didnt check on me and the other doctor didnt take note I had to come back in. Im new to Omaha so didnt know where to go. The 2nd doctor was much nicer and she deserves 5 stars. But when I felt like I was being mocked by a doctor I was not happy...........After I post this review the owner did in fact call me and are covering my second copay. He was very understanding and show alot of pride in his company to do the right thing.
Had to go in due to a giant splinter-in-nail situation. I didnt have to wait at all to get in on a Saturday. The staff there were super friendly, professional, efficient, and compassionate. It was very clean and tidy. Hopefully dont need to return in the future 😉 but if necessary I would go there first. Definitely recommend!
Was told by another urgent care to come to this location to get a an x-ray for potential pneumonia. When I arrived the doctor didnt seem to care about it and just tried prescribing me with allergy medicine. The whole time I was hearing them say just one more patient then were done. I highly recommend to never come here and to go see real doctors before wasting time and money.
I had a sensible issue in a sensitive area. As embarrassing as it was, for me, their team went right in and made me comfortable with everything. I finally have relief all thanks to their knowledgeable and kind staff, especially Cami. She was amazing!

I needed to be seen and arrived at this location this morning at 8:10. I don’t have insurance and didn’t have all of the money to put down to be seen. They refused service to me. Told me good luck finding somewhere that would. Poor service I went to quick clinic at Hy-Vee and got service. I ended up with almost strep and serve sinus infection. This place is the worst and I will never be back. They don’t even deserve the star I had to give to do review.

I visited the 156th location on Wednesday at 6 pm with an appointment. No waiting and everyone was very friendly. I came with a hard cough. The only things that the PA did was a covud test which I said I had the rapid one on Monday- negative report. She said those arent very accurate, so now I have to wait till tonight for results. No symptoms of covid other than cough. She never listened to my chest even though I was wheezing. So I cant go to another Dr now until I get the results of the Covud test results. I should have been more proactive. Yes I am fully vaccinated Abd booster! I hope other 70 year people get better exams.
My mother was seen December 23rd. She was diagnosed with pneumonia & given 3 antibiotics & told if she feels worse goto the ER. Thank God I took her to the ER that day because at the ER she was diagnosed with Sepsis & Pneumonia as well as group A strep. We are currently still in ICU. And my mother is currently fighting for her life. If I could go below 1 star I would but I want everyone to be aware.
I was very cordially greeted immediately upon entering your facilities door! I was then very quickly processed in for my medical issue and was received and attended to with stellar professional care under-girded with personal friendly conversation and seasoned with some laughter and humor. A GREAT EXPERIENCE....even though it was for a medical issue.
I was there for testing Covid result was positive. Provider (nurse practitioner ) came afterward. Only asked one question when did you notice symptoms. Give me a bunch of instructions . Did not do any checking or listening to my lung or heart or blood pressure . Left in 2-3 minutes.No instruction on how to take pills. How a person with Covid symptoms can pay attention to not so simple details.
This clinic has very welcoming staff who ensure to give you the best care possible! It is also very nice that they accept all insurances. They got me in and out very quickly which rarely happens. Highly recommend this clinic to everyone!!

Had some X-Rays done for some lingering pain in my shoulder. Nothing was broke, but the advise of the freindly/knoweldgeable staff gave me piece of mind and comfort. Almost made my pain go away. Will definitely visit again, should the need arise
